Hotaru Tomoe Headcanon:

So we already know that in the 90s anime, when Hotaru is reborn again and goes off to live with the outer senshi, they dress her in bright colors like this:

But, as Hotaru gets older, she reverts back to her casual goth fashion (according to my headcanon). It’s just what she prefers to wear. They don’t make much black clothing for small children, anyway.

She just looks so much better this way, imo. Plus, let’s finally do away with the stereotype that wearing all black or dark colors means you’re the villain. 🖤

What if Bella became a Sailor scout when at the beginning of Twilight, say when Edward went to Alaska?

Alas, anon, I only ever made it so far into Sailor Moon. In fact, I only got to the part where it's just revealed that Usagi was a reincarnated queen this whole time.

So, I only have a vague understanding of what the Sailor Senshi even are let alone what they're actually supposed to be doing.

I can only think Bella would feel like the resident freak, being the only one who isn't Japanese and (per her own opinion) the least hot. Bella never understands what she's supposed to be doing on any missions and feels it's deeply unfair that Usagi is only clumsy before her transformation.

She also doesn't know why Tuxedo Mask is into middle school girls. Seems kind of weird :/.

Don't worry here it is 😀 I made it into a headcanon, to make up for it if you request next you will be the first priority.

Being the sailor moon and in a relationship with superman🦸‍♂️

Superman is the most powerful man on earth so it only seems fair your the second.

Superman met you one day when one of the villians decided to go loose and you hands down defeated them with your powers.

Superman was instantly taken in by your beauty, your sailor suit was foreign to him.

He had no idea who you were but either way you joined him and the justice league.

You were much more cuter then any woman he had seen.

He kept his secret an identity though, even through the glasses.

You were also in disguise as a employee who was clumsy.

You met Clark Kent, a ordinary townie but he seemed similar to someone.

You developed a crush on superman but Clark Kent was certainly cute.

Superman questioned about his love life being he was in love with the work you and the sailor scout you.

Eventually he found out when he saw you transform.

Superman had his first kiss with you on the moon.

Unfortunately every relationship has its problems and Lois lane was one.

Lois was jealous everytime she tried to talk to superman or Clark, he diverted his attention to you.

You were protective of your sister, she was your priority above anything else.

Casually lurking in Sailor Moon fandom and when I see posts mentioning the Shitennou's knightly titles, I think the translation are off. I don't know if those are just fansubs being wonky, or if even the official ones are not entirely correct...

I've also seen some posts say that "I don't understand what these means". The knightly titles are based on the image and properties associated with each gemstone in Japanese (so, if it has different meanings internationally, it's quite beside the point).

Jadeite: Knight of Resilience 忍耐 and Harmony 調和

忍耐 is often translated as "Patience" in fanworks. 忍耐 is better translated as "resilience", "perseverance", or "endurance". Even when colloquially used to say "be patient", the connotation of it is more along the lines of "endure this". The Harmony one is correct.

"Resilience" is because jadeite jade is the harder jade. "Harmony" because of its traditional usage in spiritual matters, so jade in general has the image of "peacefulness".

Nephrite: Knight of Wisdom 知恵 and Peace 安らぎ

This one makes me kind of laugh because of what Nephrite is like as a character/person. I almost always see 知恵 translated as "Intelligence". It's not wrong per se, but this term here refers to something deeper than just brain smarts, thus "wisdom". Things like wisdom that come from age, or innate perceptiveness, and so on.

安らぎ is peace, as in "inner peace". Basically, "serenity", though it's probably not a good idea to use this word in Sailor Moon for obvious reasons.

Nephrite being the native jade of China, it has been given very sagely meaning to it that persist even in Japanese symbolism. That's why it's like this, for somewhat similar reasons to jadeite's "harmony".

Kunzite: Knight of Virtue 純潔 and Benevolence 慈愛

純潔 can also mean Purity or Chastity. 慈愛 is sometimes translated as Affection, which is also not entirely wrong. It's just that the standard meaning is benevolence or mercy. "Affection" tends to be used in the context of parents and children. In this context probably not the best meaning to use.

This gemstone is associated with the Holy Mother Mary, of all things, that's why it's got very saintly imagery associated with it.

Zoisite: Knight of Purification 浄化 and Healing 癒し

The most straightforward one so I've never seen any wonky translation with this one. Those who are into healing crystals might already know this, but this title is based on the healing and purification qualities that a blue zoisite/tanzanite supposedly have.

I think I'm gonna take a break from Tumblr and from writing these stories/headcanons.

I appreciate all the support I've received so far. Right now, I really just want to focus on other creative endeavors.

I'll likely come back, but I'm not sure when yet. Maybe in a few weeks, maybe in a few months. Time will tell.
