If you want to add Natalia Knight into Jason's life, with the street kid origin, a good way is having her be someone genuinely worried about WHY a man as wealthy as Bruce would want to adopt a kid from the slums? Like, she had better luck than a lot of street kids usually have with these wealthy people, but a kid from crime alley, the worst place in Gotham being adopted right after Bruce's ward goes away? As soon as he turned eighteen? And they're allegedly in bad terms? That's just plain weird.

the way a hug made him stop everything he was doing, he's just so full of love and emotions and he must be so touch starved, everything he knows about life has been painted with pain and suffering I hate it here

Something I really really like to hear from others is how they characterise Willis Todd. I'm curious about your opinions on him!

(and perhaps Catherine too?)

Ooh this is a though one.

My thing with Willis and Catherine is that they're too similar to people I've dealt with irl.

So I usually give them some grace in my writing, with Willis and Catherine being highschool sweethearts who had some rough patches – Jason's conception being one of them –, Willis is a cook who's job place fell victim to a rogue attack and had to rely on less than ideal work to support his family and Catherine had to drop college so she could raise the kid, she could've jumped ship and let Willis to fend for himself, but she just loved him too much.

My Catherine is someone who loves too much, intensely, unconditionally – her son is just like her–, and her love for Jason is what dooms her, even when Willis was at his worst, treating her like gum that was stuck on the bottom of his shoe, flaunting that number book on her face, she still stayed, for Jason, for her kid.

Her family tried to give her help when she got sick, but they asked for her to leave Willis and Jasonn behind, so she stays, and she dies for it.

Do you think jason would ever adopt/have a child? What would have to happen for him to consider it?

I feel like Jason would hesitate a lot about this matter, while he does like kids and is usually good with them, he has the money and means to support a child through life, however taking care of a kid full time is a lot of work and people need to be really read to bear the responsibility of it.

Jason's role as the Red Hood would also put the kid in danger just by proxy, he wouldn't purposefully put his kid in a costume and have them fight crime, but just the thought of someone going after his kid and hurting them because they were Red Hood's child would be off-putting enough for Jason, if he were to adopt it would be waaay later in life when he's not as active in vigilantism.

I also feel like as someone who grew up with very little examples of how good parents are supposed to act, he would be hesitant and end up doing way too much to compensate for every small mistake.
