A/N: Hi everyone! I took to cleaning my inbox. When I'm done with requests that's been sitting there for too long I'm back to my two series! Please enjoy this little piece and remember my requests are open!

The day was going slow for Y/N. Since early morning she was feeling nauseous and it brought her mood down. The house was empty making her even more depressed without anyone to talk to. But she understood that no matter her state the family had to work and go on with their lives. Especially now that she was carrying the first descendant of the Jutul family.

Y/N was looking through cabinets when the doors opened and the first person came back. She smiled at Saxa but didn't utter a word to greet her.

"How are you feeling?" Her sister-in-law asked putting her bag down.

"I'm fine." Her words weren't too convincing but the older girl let it slide knowing hormones were already acting up.

"Fjor will be home soon, he went to grab some things from the market." She said softly sending a smile to Y/N and left upstairs.

The room fell silent while the pregnant girl munched on some old cookies. She knew the habit of eating unhealthy had to go soon, but she still managed to sneak some snacks when her husband wasn't around to scold her. Ever since the pregnancy started Fjor was overprotective, annoyingly so. The baby was growing and so did the protective side of the giant. It was cute in a way, but when she was tired, with sore muscle and more problems came up in the daily activities, it started to feel a little suffocating. Not that she said anything to him outright.

"Honey, I'm home!" Y/N turned her head to see Fjor with bags almost spilling over with the food he bought.

"Hi." She smiled before giving him a welcome kiss, a routine they developed in the first year of their relationship.

"What did you do today? I hope you didn't tire yourself out." He asked with a warning tone making her huff in frustration.

"I spend the whole day on the couch." To prove her point she sat down in her old spot throwing the blanket over her legs. Fjor smiled walking up with couple of her favorite fruits.

"What did you eat?" He asked throwing his arm over her shoulder. Involuntary she relaxed into his side.

"Some toast and the soup you left me." Y/N mumbled starting to munch on her healthy snack.

"That's good, you want to have a bath?" He was already on the way to stand up when she pulled his arm back.

"No. I want to sit here." Her voice was weak and she hated the fact that even when she was frustrated at him she seeks his warmth and closeness.

"Alright. We can stay for a bit, but later on we're running a bath, yeah?" She nodded sighting and focused her gaze on the TV. Fjor was looking through his phone simply offering his arms to her. They spend a bit of time like this until Saxa came down again.

"Hey, I'm going to prepare dinner. Any special orders?" Her smile was soft but Y/N felt like a little baby that was fussy over her food. So simply shaking her head she went back to watching the TV, not wanting to start unnecessary fights.

"What about some steamed vegetables and chicken, huh?" Fjor asked leaving her side to help his sister. Y/N huffed standing up too.

"I'm going to take a bath." She said not waiting for their response.

She prepared herself a bath and soaked her body into bubbles. The soft scent of candles and the warmth from the water helped to calm her nerves and sore body. Y/N put her hands on the growing belly and did few breathing exercises to fully embrace the calmness. It was a tiring time for her, the pregnancy, the way everyone jumped around her and didn't let her be herself. Some days she felt like the family forgot her body was stronger than a regular human and that she knew what was best for her and the baby.

She was laying in the bath with her eyes closed when the doors cracked open.

"Hey the dinner is ready." Her husband's voice carried around the bathroom and soon she heard his steps. "Were you in the bath all this time? The water is starting to turn cold, come on." He said checking the water and extending his hand to help her out. She didn't fight but still wasn't to happy to leave.

"You know I can take care of myself right?" She huffed while he wrapped her in a towel.

"Of course, but I'm here to do it for you." He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, but he still noticed the eye roll she gave him. "What?"

"You act like I don't know how to care of myself and the baby." Y/N could feel a slight sting of incoming tears in her eyes and it angered her even more, the fact that she wasn't in control of her emotions anymore. "You can leave me alone for the whole day, but the moment someone's home you all act like I can't decide what's best for us. I can cook and run myself a bath." She waved her hand at the bathtub to make him realize that she was fine on her own. "All of you act like I'm some fragile porcelain doll, and I'm not!"

"Baby please come down." Fjor said putting his hands on her arms but she shook him off and stomped away to put some clothes on. He followed into the room and sighted closing the doors. "Y/N, please."

"I tell you what pisses me off and you start with 'calm down'? I have every right to feel this way, Fjor." She snapped and he visibly flinched, since she never used his first name.

"I'm sorry. But you never said anything and we didn't think this bothers you." He frowned and embraced her in a hug to prevent her pushing him away again. "I spend my days in the office and once I'm back I want to take care of you. I didn't realize this could be a problem, love. But if it makes you mad then I can.. back off a bit?" She took a deep breath in and placed her head on his shoulder. She let herself stand there for a second.

"No more telling me what I should eat, or when I should take a bath, okay?" She looked up at him with her best puppy eyes and Fjor chuckled nodding.

"I promise." He said and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "But now we should really get downstairs and eat, because Saxa prepared dinner and didn't even let me touch a thing!" He huffed trying to lighten up the mood and he was happy to see Y/N smile.

"I think it's more because of your cooking skills, darling." She smirked leaving him behind gaping in shock.

"I'm a good chef!" Fjor protested following his wife while she laughed carelessly.

Maybe they were new to the situation and maybe Y/N still had trouble with communicating her problems, but he was ready to listen and provide as much care and love as she asked for. Because Fjor knew that this woman was the only one for him and he couldn't wait to have a smaller version running around. Even when it'll be pure chaos if the child will inherit their mother's personality.

Imagine: being Laurits Seier’s girlfriend and him confronting you when you become distant

Initially meant to be a ficlet - transition to an imagine explained here. Thank you for understanding.

As usual, you're waiting for Laurits after school. He seems to always have some business to take care of with other students.

You don't mind that, you know that once he's done, he'll have all of his time just for you, but you can never understand how it's so easy for him to make friends and maintain relationships with other people, especially when he's a new student. You've known most people in Edda most of your life and you still have issues in making new friends, while Laurits can sometimes make them in a matter of seconds even after coming back to the town after a few years.

Knowing that you have problems with interpersonal relationships and he could be partners with anyone he wants, you appreciate it even more that you had Laurits's attention and eventually became his girlfriend. Sure, maybe he's the only person you enjoy spending time with and you're holding onto him quite much, but it's never bothered you... at least not until a group of students passes you by and you hear one of them saying:

'I can't believe Y/N is out here on her own.'

'Right? It's weird to see her without Laurits, she doesn't seem to ever let him go,' their friend adds.

You instinctively turn your head towards the group. They must've realised you overheard the conversation as one of them approaches you and says:

'Hey, Y/N. Where's your boyfriend?'

'I'm not sure what you mean...'

'Oh, you must know what I mean. You're always clinging onto him, I'm surprised you're not glued to his arm.'

You want to push back, but good responses to bullying have never been your forte. Before you can think of anything to say, Laurits appears next to you.

'Is everything okay, Y/N?' he asks, putting his arm around your waist. 'Are they bothering you?'

'No, it's okay,' you respond, at the same time slightly moving away from him.

'Good. So, do you still want to come to my place as we planned?'

'Of course. That would be great.'

You hope he doesn't notice how you keep the distance between you two or always find an excuse not to hold his hand, like needing to blow your nose or put on gloves. Yet, once you make it to his house and get a moment alone in his room, he asks:

'What got into you today? Have I done something wrong?'

'No, not at all,' you answer. 'You're perfect, as always.'

'So, what is it? Did those people at school tell you something?'

'Well... they said I never let you go and I'm always clinging to you. I think it seems weird to others, so I thought I should... step back a little.'

Lauris reaches out for your hand and holds it tightly, even when for a second you want to move it away.

'I don't care what other people say, Y/N,' he starts to explain. 'They can see us as the weirdest couple in this town, I really don't care. I love you and I don't mind the way you are at all. It makes me happy how close we are, and I wouldn't exchange it for anything.'

'Do you mean it?' you make sure one more time.

'Of course!'

You finally allow yourself to smile and go for a hug. Laurits returns the hug with a sigh of relief.

'I missed being so close to you,' he whispers, 'even if you've only been distant for a few hours.'

Hello! My name is Mari Delia. I have been writing stories recreationally for four years now. I have recently started posting my stories since this year's March. I recently made this tumblr so that I have a place to post one-shots, headcanons, mini-series, and more. Now, my full series is over on Wattpad. Currently, I am making slow updates to that story since I am sick. We don’t exactly know what I am sick with, but it’s been going on for three years, which is why I am slow at writing. It’s why I started to post my writings, because there isn’t much I can do anymore. This at least gives me a sense of productivity through it all. In this post, I will go over the rules I have for requesting stories. I must say that I am very strict about these rules. I will also be going over which fandoms I write for. I will only accept requests for one-shots and headcanons.

My Rules

Rule #1: Understand that I have my own private life. I have a family to care for, a job to do, and, as previously stated, I am sick as well. I need to care for myself too, which is why I am slow at writing stories.

 Rule #2: I will not write about real people. As lovely as I think Pedro Pascal and Tom Hiddleston are, I don’t want to be writing about them. They’re real people with real lives, and some of those people aren’t comfortable with fanfiction being written about them. I feel like I would be speculating about their lives, invading their privacy, and we don’t always know if they’re comfortable with that. A character is one thing; a real person is another.

 Rule #3: I don’t really feel comfortable writing smut one-shots. Well, it’s not that I'm personally uncomfortable with it; I just don’t like writing smut one-shots. If I do post one, it was on my own account.

 Rule #4: I am more than fine with writing any pairing, although I will not write a trans character as my main character. I myself am not a transgender person, so I will not be able to truly understand their struggles. I do not want to offend anybody with that, but a lot of the stories I have written have had transgender characters in them; they're just not main characters. I don’t want to portray their struggles incorrectly or write falsely about those absolutely lovely people.

 Rule #5: You can use my ask box to send in requests because I’m pretty sure that it’s open. Make sure to specify which character from the list I have, what idea you have, and whatever else you think I should know about it. Whether it’s a ship or a reader insert

 Rule #6: I am open to trying basically any character pairing as long as it does not involve incest, minor, or adult relationships and follows my rules.

 Rule #7: I refuse to write scenes about the topics of rape, suicide, eating disorders, self-harm, heart attacks, strokes, or CPR. I am willing to write about these topics.

Why not just write a fic of the path u wish they took after thr dark world instead of making a video to tell the world why u personally dislike a movie? Why waste talent?

Anon, I want you to read the next words with as much compassion and gentleness as you can muster from text, because I do believe you're asking this genuinely, but do you have any idea how much time it takes to write a fic? I spend hours on a single chapter. I mean that. Usually, it's about ten, then I have to edit it. That takes another five hours. That's fifteen hours-ish per chapter. I usually average about 10-15 chapters per fic.

I have to plan it. I have to think about it. I have to figure out why the story is going the way it's going. I have to replan it. I replan most of my fics 3-4 times. that takes hours. Then there's usually the demon chapter per fic which takes 1-4 rewrites, which tacks on more time. I spend probably 3-4 weeks of time straight on a multi-chapter fic, which this would be.

Every time I start a fic, I have to be ready to devote that length of time or it gets abandoned or updated once or twice every year because I just don't have the energy.

This is completely disregarding the fact my mental health problems, which often cause set backs and delays as I try to cope with that. Fic writing is fun, but it's exhausting.

And this is just one part of it.

Another is that, anon, I genuinely just don't want to. Ragnarok has been out for almost six years. I've written multiple IW/Endgame rerwites (or at least IW-adjacent things, Porcelain, Drawing Keys With Water, Withering Away, We're A Mess Now, Huh? Empty, We Drown Together, the last half of Append) and almost nothing for Ragnarok except for Discolored. I have Avengers 1-adjacent things.

If rewriting Ragnarok was something I had any interest in doing, I would have by now.

And honestly, I don't know what I would put there instead. I don't hate the concept of Ragnarok. I own the movie on DVD, and have since like 2018? I don't hate it. It's actually really, really hard for me to loathe something entirely. Usually I'm like "I didn't like this part", but "this part was good!" All stories have nuance.

That's why there are a lot of people who like Ragnarok and the Loki series who follow me despite the fact I post anti stuff for both of them. Because I recognize there are good things about xyz and I'm not afraid to talk about that. So this is not going to be a video about everything wrong with Ragnarok.

I can get where you'd get that idea. My 3 part essay about the Loki series was extremely brutal and rarely brought up any positive, and I'm not happy about that. Honestly, I wish I'd taken a different approach with the essay and I probably will make another one about the series. But please have some compassion for me. I've had a YouTube channel for less than six weeks. I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm still getting my feet underneath myself and I'm human so it's not going to be perfect.

I can understand why you'd feel really confused about why I'm bothering to make a video essay when, to you, it seems like it would be easier for me to just write a fic and shut up about it. Because fanfiction is often very quiet and private. YouTube is much more public. I get the impression you're a little frustrated with me, if not a little embarrassed that I want to explain why I didn't like the movie publicly, which is fine.

I love Justice League 2017 and it's often regarded to be a horrible movie. I have a Shrek 3 myself. I have a lot of them. It's impossible to love only perfect movies because there are no perfect movies.

Recognizing where stories failed is not passing moral judgment on them. Realizing why other stories work does not mean they're superior in some way. How To Train Your Dragon is a masterpiece, and I mean that genuinely* But WHY. WHY did it work when something like Netflix's Seabeast was less beloved, but had no less heart? The WHY is what I want to address in my video essays and I haven't quite figured out the formula just yet on how I want to go about that. Because, again, it's been like six weeks.

(*and for the record, HTTYD still has a lot of people who don't like it, but that's more so because it's not their type of movie, not because they think that it was written wrong. And YES HTTYD has its' faults because every story has its faults)

There are a lot of unhappy MCU fans who didn't like Ragnarok. WHY? why didn't they like it? Are they not allowed to discuss it just because there are people who liked it? No. You like Shrek 3, but that doesn't mean there can't be discussion about why Shrek 3 isn't a good story. Ragnarok fans and those who don't like it can coexist and it's okay that not everyone likes something. Sometimes a movie isn't for everyone, and that's definitely a factor, but for THIS MANY fans to have not liked Ragnarok, that means that Ragnarok did do something major wrong.

And it's not just og Loki fans who don't like it. It's og Thor fans, too. A lot was done right with Ragnarok, but just enough was done wrong that it bothered a lot of people and I think it's okay to explore what it was. Declaring Thor Ragnarok a masterpiece with no fault is ignoring a lot of people and I don't think that's fair. I'm going to talk about what Ragnarok did wrong because I find it interesting and I think it does deserve to be poked at. What I hope my essay will do is a) provide a little more compassion for people who didn't like Ragnarok and b) offer insight as to what Ragnarok could have done better.

Ok but, real talk about Loki for a minute.

I love Loki in every version, every universe: from Marvel comics to movies, netflix tv show, when he's barely there in a viking show, in Norse mythology, in every single one of your fanart and fanfiction.

Loki is a character that cannot be contained in a single box. Both as fictional character and Norse God, he has so many layers, so many completely different characteristics that sometimes are in direct contrast between each other. Tom Hiddleston said it better: "What I like about playing Loki is he plays all the keys on the piano. He could be fun comedic but also volatile and angry."

Loki is a trickster God, playful and mischievous, mean at times and loving at other, always out of the box. Every portrait of Loki, every version, it's the same Loki from a different angle, under a different light. This is what a I love the most about him, that he's chaos, he's a rebel, he's a weirdo, he's the God of the Outcasts.

I read "Thor and Loki, Blood Brothers" a couple of years priors the Marvel movies. I fell in love with that Loki, the old one, the one so in love with his brother he wanted to kill him because Thor wasn't loving him back. Loki the loser, Loki the person everybody hates, Loki the mean one, Loki that will never win or be loved no matter what. I felt it so deeply in my soul, I was scared to watch the movies, scared they would treat him wrong, they would make a caricature. I trusted Tom Hiddleston, and I was right. He knew the character, he loved the character, he understood Loki. And in the end, he played a version of Loki that has been so loved by everyone they kept calling him back.

It's been fourteen years of his life. Fourteen years is a lot. He played him in six different movies and a tv show, various different writers and directors, various different stories and layers. Going into the last episode of season 02 the other night, I knew it was going to be the last time I would see this Loki, the Tom Hiddleston Loki. I was prepared to see him die, again. "Worst case scenarios, the last shot he is in Valhalla, dead and gone" I thought.

You see, Loki is multi faced, he cannot be contained, he is a trickster after all. But every version of Loki has a couple of key elements that are sadly stuck with him and his destiny: everybody thinks of him as the villain, he's going to start Ragnarok and destruction, he is destined to lose or die in the process.

But this is not true for the God of Stories.

Loki God of Stories originated in the comic Agent of Asgard, at the very end of the comic, after many adventures and a bit of death. It's the Loki that says "fuck it, I won't follow your fate anymore, I'll create my own". And he does. And he's not a loser anymore, he's the one creating stories, his own and everyone else's. Other Gods included.

The series is heavily inspired by this comic, especially the second season, but I think we got it wrong. Or maybe this is one version of seeing it, one Loki under a different light.

We have Mobius, He Who Remains and Hunter X5 all saying to Loki that he's a villain, he will always be a villain, he was born to create suffering and pain, that his destiny is to lose and so that others can achieve the best versions of themselves. Even Sylvie asks him if Lokis are destined to lose and die, that's all they have ever known. Loki is destined to lose so that others will have a bright future:

It's what the All Mothers do to Loki in the comic as well: they lied to him, told him he had a chance, a possibility to change, but in reality he was already stuck in the same loop, being a villain again and again. That's what King Loki (or Future Loki) thinks of himself: no matter how many times he tries to change, he will always be the same.

And then we have Sylvie, stating right away that she's not a Loki anymore. Sylvie is determined to have her own life, her own choices, her own story. She wants free will, for everyone, brake the chains of destiny.

She is not the Goddess of Stories, though, but she is definitely done playing that game. In a way, she's far ahead of Loki in his own story.

Back to the Loki we are more familiar with. In the tv show he learns to control his time slipping, learns to control time itself. Now he can rewrite the story, he can write his own: he has now become the God of Stories, he has now become the most powerful being.

So powerful he can literally hold life and time of the entire universe in his hands, branches that turn into Yggdrasill, the Tree of Life, the tree that holds the worlds, and at the centre of it there's Loki.

It's bittersweet, yes. It's sad to think that this is the last time will probably see Tom Hiddleston playing Loki. Let's face it, it was going to happen, and I'd rather see this than see him die, again. Because "That's the thing about story... They have to end to mean anything" and he "can't be Loki forever".

And what a powerful end, anyway. Loki, the god of lies, god of chaos, god of mischief, god of the outcasts, god of everything that's weird, the god that was destined to start Ragnarok, to bring death and destruction everywhere he goes, the god who's only fate was to destroy the world and end it... He's now the Tree of Life, he is the one sitting in the middle of Yggdrasill looking over all of us.

And as for Sylvie, where is she gonna go?

Anywhere, really. Her story is open ended. She can open a time door, or maybe grab a sharpie and draw a door with "next" written over, and finally write her own story, while Loki watches over her. In a way, she has become the Goddess of Stories herself, she's just gonna start writing her own.

I don't think we will see her again. The series was meant to have only two seasons. Maybe Marvel will pick her up once again, give it a shot at a third season, maybe have her in a movie somewhere, maybe a comic? I doubt it given how much hate she had to face thanks to a fanbase that truly hates all the female characters. But who knows?

What I do know is that fandom exists. Maybe we won't see them on our screen anytime soon or ever again, but we can write about them, create as many stories as possibile and make the God and Goddess of Stories proud of us.

Y'all really had me believing that Marvel ruins the work of perfectly good directors, huh? Bullshit. Ryan Coogler has shown twice that when you're creative, smart, and respect your source material you will consistently make beautiful, fun, thoughtful, and funny movies.

As always, I applaud you Ryan Coogler for being one of the only decent creators in Marvel.

Chris Hemsworth, please, honestly GO FUCK YOURSELF. LMAO.

Okay, so, listen, this is honestly going to be the last I ever talk about this, but the fact that I've been proven right about this jackasses involvement in this whole affair has got me laughing!

In 2017, or the year previous, who the fuck knows, Chris Hemsworth got his friend, Taika Waititi to direct Thor 3. Thor Ragnarok, which heavily diverged from the cinematography and the lore of the previous two Thor movies. Chris Hemsworth decided Thor was too boring. He didn't like playing him anymore. He wanted to play someone new and fun. He wanted to play himself. And he got just that.

I'll give Ragnarok enough credit, that aye, I might be fooled into thinking there was some interest the title character. But after Love and Thunder? No, now I know I've been fooled into watching a costume party by Chris Hemsworth, his family, and his friends. Ding ding ding! What do we have here, Johnny?

A bottom tier celebrity making a franchise that not only was all about him - his character, but all about him!!! He's playing himself!

His daughter at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder, is his daughter in real life (she's cute, no diss). His two sons played younger versions of him. His wife was a wolf woman he made out with! His best friends Matt fucking Damon and Taika Waititi both star in the role and the latter directs it.

I'm sorry, but at what fucking point did I sign up for a lazy written fanfiction? Because that's sure as hell not what I thought would happen in Thor 1 or 2, or Avengers. And you know, I am still mad, because I enjoyed the OG Thor, I enjoyed the OG Loki, and Marvel and, wow, did it not pay off.

Alas, it's on me for watching any new Thor films (aye, listen, I gotta family here!), but I just wanted to tell anyone who ever said Thor is a walking self insert nowadays. You are completely and utterly spot on.

Nobody tagged me, I just decided to put myself on blast. Whoever wants to fill this out too, go nuts.

How old were you when you realized you like guys getting hurt? 7? 8, maybe? I feel like a lot of what I like in media can be traced back to the shows I watched in elementary school and how my preferences developed.

What was that very first scene you remember which gave you those glorious butterfly feelings? Anyone remember that edutainment show, Book of Virtues? No? Well, there was this scene where the boy character twists his ankle and the girl administers first aid and tiny me was like, “Awesome! Finally a girl saves a boy!”

When and how was it that you realized “Hey, I’m not so messed up in the head!” and that there’s a definition and a community for this sort of thing? Probably around the time I discovered fanfiction and realized, “Oh, there’s a lot of stories I like!” I can’t pinpoint an exact moment, but that must have been where I learned the terminology.

What’s your favorite whump trope?  Fever, kidnapped and tortured, panic attacks, flashbacks, anything that requires comfort from someone else, ideally with cuddling. Quick, magical healing and post trauma care are also great. There always has to be a rescue or a catharsis.  What’s a whump trope you hate? Gore, character death, whump but no rescue, long term illnesses and after affects. I know it’s not very realistic, but I like a happy ending. One minor pet peeve I have is when a caregiver catches the whumpee’s illness. As far as I’m concerned, nothing is ever contagious, because this is happy fun time where everything always ends up fine.

Who’s your favorite whumped character? Hoo boy...Loki, Bucky, Detective Void , Sam Winchester if I feel like dipping into a fandom I’m meh about, Leon from SWSH, Orym, Caleb, Dorian, and Caduceus from Critical Role...There’s probably more, but you get the idea.

Someone please write Detective Void fanfiction, we are sorely lacking fan content. What’s that whumped scene(s) you watched over and over again (we you know you do it and we understand)? Netflix’s Ragnarok has a scene where Laurits is not pregnant and in not labor with the world serpent. 

I. I also have an Mpreg hyperfixation.  Bullet or stab wounds? Whichever, really. Fevers or hypothermia? Fevers, definitely. They’re usually not as serious and can be treated with relatively little stress. For me it’s less about the agony and more about the caregiver giving them affection and TLC.

Emotional or physical? Both. While I’m a sucker for heartbreak, I like minor or at least treatable injury.

Injured and asks for help, or tries to cover it up? How about; tries to cover it up because no one “has time” for them to be sick or hurt, only to have it backfire. Or, they ask for help, but get brushed off, then collapse when it gets too bad to handle alone. 

Lastly, does anybody know about this addiction of yours? I feel like my bestie knows, even though I can’t remember outright saying it. We wrote a lot of stories together and we have similar tastes. Beyond that, I’m sure a few people have figured it out. I don’t know why I enjoy the trope so much. I suspect it’s some insidious combination of maternal instincts and sadism.

A/N: Welcome everyone! This request made me smile and writing this was even better. I hope you'll enjoy this little fic as much as I do. Enjoy! And don't forget to request!

Giants and Gods were only a myth for you. You believed in them as a child, but with age you saw them as fairytales just like any other person. They were the past.

But now, as a girlfriend of one, you believed in them. You believed in every story you heard as a child. It seemed that everything could be possible now that you knew the truth.

When Fjor showed you who he really is you didn't feel scared. Shocked? Yes. But you could never fear him. You saw him at his worst and he never made you doubt his promise of keeping you safe, so you had no reason to change your point of view.

It came as a surprise to Fjor. He was prepared for the worst option, that you'd leave him and won't look back. But the moment you touched his cheek with your tender touch he felt exhilarated.

You kept on asking questions about his life, about all the myths and legends. You wanted to know everything from his perspective, someone who lived through all of it. And Fjor couldn't be more grateful to have someone who truly loved him, no matter his form.

Soon, you went back to your life as it was. You easily accepted the fact of being with a Jotunn and went back to just enjoying free time with your boyfriend.

"Can you come here?" Fjor asked with his voice muffled by the pillow. He was exhausted and went straight to your bed after work. You let him rest, while doing some work of your own.

"So you could kill me?" You raised your gaze from the papers and kept a natural face to play a bit with him. He looked to you squinting.

"I want to bloody cuddle." Fjor almost growled, already irritated that you weren't by his side. You chuckled walking to the bed.

"No blood involved, please." Your smirk made him roll his eyes. He finally caught up to your teasing. You crawled next to him and immediately he had you wrapped in his arms. "You're going to suffocate me."

"Shhh.." He mumbled closing his eyes and breathing in your scent. You always had this effect on him, just holding you close and feeling your warmth allowed him to relax.

"Are you going to stay the night?" You asked after few seconds. He hummed tiredly, sleep already clouding his senses. "I should text Laurits then, so at least someone will know who they have to look for."

"What are you on about?" Fjor mumbled looking down at you.

"You know, when you slit my throat at night." You tried hiding your smirk, but he still noticed the change.

"You little shit" He hissed before moving his hands over your ribs. You chuckled trying to get away, but he held you close and began tickling your sensitive spots.

"Stop!" You breathlessly shouted through the laughs.

"It's a good way to go don't you think?" Fjor teased going at you again. Your laugh filled the room.

Those moments were the ones you cherished the most, because it allowed Fjor to be just a boy. He could relax and be goofy with you. You hoped to be his safe heaven as long as time would allow.

It was quite comical, how long it'd taken for her to realize her boyfriend's immortality. Hints were everywhere, from the pictures of his family throughout history, to the old artifact's in Vidar's office. "Y/N, please." He reached out, heart dropping when she stepped away.

In truth, she was afraid. In all the time they'd been together, Fjor had never once held any ill intent towards the girl, showering her with the purest love and the most thoughtful gifts, what'd changed?

"Please don't come near me."

His body went rigid at the quiver in her voice. "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise. Please."

Plea falling on deaf ears, her tense frame did not ease. "How do I know that?"

"Because I love you, Y/N."

"We could never work."

Eyebrows furrowed, Fjor cocked his head at her statement. "Yes, we could. We can make this work." He practically begged.

Tears threatened to spill, burning sensation engulfing her waterline. "How? I am going to grow old, and you're going to stay like this. Young, and beautiful!"

He knew there was no reasoning with this, after all, she was right. He took one step closer, relieved when she didn't recoil. "Stay with me anyways."

"That's not fair."

"But I will protect you, forever. I'll do anything you want me to do."

He took her hands in his, gently rubbing the pads of his thumbs across her hands. Y/N cracked a minuscule smile. "You'll make me look like a cougar."

The boy laughed at the jest. "Really? I'm over 700 years old."

"I didn't know I had a thing for older men."

Their giggles died down as she finally gave into his embrace. "I'm going to take care of you." She nodded. "I love you."
