Hey!

I'm aware I came back from a semi-hiatus with just a few fics and now I'm kind of gone again, so to let you know: I will likely be gone for another few weeks, as I'm currently writing my master's thesis, and finishing both my thesis and degree is currently on top of my priority list.

I might be able to post an aesthetic or a (very) short story here and there when I feel inspired, but if it doesn't happen, this is why.

In the meantime my inbox remains open, so if you have any suggestions for me to write, please send them through! I check Tumblr almost everyday, so I should be able to respond as soon as I get them, and I'll write accepted ideas when I'm free to do so.

If everything goes fine, I should be good to sit down and write some new fics by mid-June, and then set a regular posting schedule for July and August, maybe further months too.

I know I'm gone from here a lot and some of you might not believe it anymore that I'll be back with regular posting, and I guess you're right. Frankly, this blog has never been a huge responsibility to me and when life is going in its way, I usually prefer to choose focusing on life - hopefully you can understand. I enjoy coming back here nonetheless, and I trully hope you do too.

Imagine: hitchhiking with Eddie Munson to a metal concert

Fandom: Stranger Things

"For fuck's sake!" you hear Eddie yell from the side of the road as another car passes him by. "Nobody takes hitchhikers these days."

"Are you surprised?" you ask, crushing a can of coke you've just emptied as you walk up to him. "Look at us. We're not just hitchhikers, we're dirty metalheads."

"Yeah, I know. And I wouldn't mind it, but it's fucking freezing, man!"

You laugh under your breath. You tried so many times to explain to Eddie that hitchhiking to a concert right at the beginning of January is not the best idea, but he was more stubborn than you were convincing. That's how you ended up on the side of that road, rather freezing to death alongside Eddie than letting him do stupid things on his own.

You almost open your mouth to let out a snarky I told you so, when a car approaches you and stops just where you stand. Inside you can see two guys, maybe in their early 20s, one behind the wheel and one in the passenger seat, both of them looking eerily similar to Eddie.

"Hey! Where do you wanna get?" asks the guy driving the car after rolling down his window.

"To Cincinnati. Are you heading in that direction?" you ask.

"We're going right to Cincinnati, baby! We'd rather die than miss that Iron Maiden concert," says the other guy.

"No shit! We're trying to make it to that concert too!" Eddie exclaims.

"Seriously? Jump in then!"

You and Eddie exchange excited smiles as he opens the door of the car and you stumble into the back seat. Hitchhiking may be hard sometimes, but this is your lucky day.

Imagine: Jack Sparrow and James Norrington getting jealous of you

You're walking down a pier in the Port Royal harbour, trying to clear your mind. Everyone's been waiting for James Norrington to be promoted to Commodore for a while now and today, on a day of the official ceremony, the area is buzzing with excitement.

Being a part of James's immediate circle, you should feel that excitement too. Deep in your heart you certainly do. But at the same time you can't help but wonder how your life would've gone if you didn't abandon your life at sea. Your life as a pirate...

Lost in your thoughts, you don't realise you're not alone anymore until you feel a tap on your shoulder, forcing you to turn around only to see the soon-to-be Commodore next to you.

"Is something bothering you, Y/N?" Norrington says, smiling softly.

"Oh, it's... nothing, James. Nothing's bothering me. I was just thinking about... my past."

His smile immediately fades away, but he manages to keep his composure as he tells you:

"You don't have to worry about your past. Nobody around knows that you were a pirate except me, and I intend on keeping your secret safe, just as I promised."

"Thank you. But... you know who was my captain during my time as a pirate, right?"

A solemn expression crosses his face before he says:

"Yes. Yes, I know. And it doesn't change a thing."

Deep down you know it changes a lot, but neither of you is going to admit it. But even though his pride must be hurt, you appreciate that James is steady in his promise.

"I'm glad. If you could give me one more minute alone though. I'll join you soon."

"Of course."

He bows to you slightly and walks away. You wait for Norrington to be gone from your sight before reluctantly following him.

On your way out of the harbour you pass a familiar figure. It takes you a second to realise where you know the person from, but once you do, you can't help but turn around and call out:

"Jack!"

"Oh. So it really is you, Y/N," Jack Sparrow says, walking back to you. "Didn't expect to see you around, sweetie."

"As if it wasn't where you dropped me off last time we saw each other," you respond.

"Okay, so maybe I knew I'd find you here. But not in the company of an officer of the Royal Navy, for sure."

"Oh, Norrington? He's just a..." You stop for a second when you notice that Jack's usual sly smile is now gone. "Wait... are you jealous?"

"What, me? Jealous? Of some officer? Never." Only when you raise an eyebrow at him, he admits: "Okay. I might be just a little jealous. But if this is how you live now..."

"Yes. I believe it is."

"...then I won't try to change your mind."

Something in your heart stings, as if you wanted him to try. You almost ask him to, but instead you catch yourself saying:

"Thank you. I still hope you'll stick around; Norrington is promoted to Commodore today, it's a chance to have some fun."

"You should stop tempting me, Y/N. A chance to have a good time and be in your presence? I reckon I shall stick around."

Jack sends you a smile before you part ways. And that smile is how you know he's back to his usual self and besides the fun, you can definitely expect some trouble.

Imagine: going down the rabbit hole with Alice Kingsleigh

Fandom: Alice in Wonderland

Alice has always been one of the oddest people you know. She might not be particularly weird, but being lost in her own world and her disregard of certain social norms definitely makes her stand out.

That's why it didn't surprise you that during her engagement party she ran away and disappeared for a few hours and then, upon coming back, told everybody off. But even for you it's hard to believe the stories she brought back from the time she was gone.

"But Alice, even you should know that things like that don't happen! Cats don't just disappear, caterpillars don't smoke, and what sisters are you talking about again?" you tell her, rushing after her through the park where the party happened just a few days ago.

"Oh, stop with that nonsense, Y/N," Alice responds, stopping and grabbing your hand. "You'll believe me when I show you."

"Nonsense? That Wonderland of yours is the nonsense here!"

Alice sighs and without letting go of your hand she leads you to a nearby tree. You can clearly see a hole gaping from between the roots. Your friend smiles triumphantly and points at it, saying:

"See? This is how I got to Wonderland."

"By following a white rabbit down that hole?" Alice nods. "And you want to do it again?"

"Of course! Why else would I bring you here?" Seeing your hesitation, she adds: "Y/N, please! What's the worst that could happen?"

Whether the Wonderland she's been talking about was real or not, you can think about dozens of things that could go wrong, but before you could say any of them out loud, Alice suddenly rushes to the hole and jumps down. And as she’s never let go of your hand, you have no choice but to follow her, and your screams soon fill the tunnel you fall down alongside your friend for what feels like eternity...

New fandoms alert!

As I was hinting before, it's finally time for me to add some new fandoms! For now, I decided to add the following:

Pirates of the Caribbean (movies 1-3)

Marvel Cinematic Universe (phase 1 movies)

Since I'm inspired to write for it, I also decided to move Once Upon a Time from old fandoms back to current fandoms. Although until I get back to watching it (which I plan to do soon), I'm gonna write mostly with the first season in mind and only for a few selected characters.

For the list of characters I write for and future updates in movies/seasons I can base my fics on, please refer to my fandoms list.

I don't take requests per se, but you can always suggest the fanfics ideas, and you are more than welcome to do so for the new fandoms!

Imagine: going to a costume party with Edmund Pevensie, dressed as a king and a queen

Something that had stricken you during your first meeting with Edmund was the aura of royalty that surrounded him. He's just a teenage boy, but you can't shake off the feeling that he has seen a lot, maybe even fought wars and travelled through kingdoms. He even told you such stories sometimes, and as odd as they are, they feel... believable.

That's why it makes sense to you that when he invites you to a costume party and you agree to go with him, Edmund suggests going dressed as a king and a queen.

You often felt unsure about this idea, wondering if you should've accepted Edmund's invitation. Yet there you are, standing in front of a mirror, already in a gown you have sewn yourself for this occasion.

It's very muffled initially, but you can hear your mom talking with Edmund who arrived to pick you up; she lets him in and leads him to your room.

"I feel stupid," you say when he enters, not even letting him say anything. "We really shouldn't go."

"What are you talking about? You look beautiful."

"Thank you, but... I don't think I'm going to belong."

Edmund stands next to you and puts his hand on your shoulder, giving you a reassuring smile.

"I don't care what they think of us at the party, you definitely belong by my side. You know you're my perfect queen."

You can't help but laugh. In his stories you would be great as a queen by his side. Although it plays well into your view of him, you don't know how to feel about it. You only blush and smile back at Edmund when he adds:

"You look beautiful tonight. I'm sure it'll be appreciated at the party. But now we should get going."

You leave your room arm in arm with Edmund, growing more and more happy to spend the night together.

Imagine: Jim Hopper asking you out on a date

You rarely ever make dinner other than the frozen food that's quick and easy to prepare. Only on days like today, when Hopper stops by your place, you actually put some effort into the food you'd sit to eat together.

You and Jim have been friends with benefits ever since you moved to Hawkins a couple of years back. You met him by accident when you were running some errands in town, but it didn't stop you from being instantly drawn to him. Jim must've felt the same, as he would visit you more and more often. Things soon became heated and the room at your place he would visit most often was your bedroom. Despite you two being so close, you've never dared to ask to be something more with him. It seems... natural that you're just friends.

Your reminiscence of the past is interrupted by a knock on a door. You turn off the stove and rush to let Jim in. It takes you by surprise when after opening the door, you see him with flowers in hand, wearing a flannel shirt that you've never seen before. Struck by his appearance, you freeze in place for a second.

"Hi, Y/N," he says, "are you going to let me in or..."

"Sure, come in," you respond, moving out of his way. "Hey, is this flannel new? Are you seeing someone else after?"

"This?" he points at his shirt, sounding surprised. "No, I just haven't worn it in a while, but it is one of my better ones. But why would I see anyone else later?"

"Because you never dress up for me. And the flowers..."

"Oh, that. Yeah... Well, it's all for you, this is a special occasion and..."

Seeing him so flustered makes you laugh a little and ask:

"An occasion? Are we celebrating something? I would make something even better for dinner and..."

"Don't worry about that, sweetheart," he tells you and explains: "We're not celebrating today, but next week it'll be two years since we first met and I thought it's high time for us to become more than friends. I was hoping that... you would go on a date with me."

"You mean... an actual date? Not this... thing we do every few days?"

"Yes, that's what I mean. Unless you don't feel the same..."

"I feel exactly the same," you stop him with a reassurance. "I'll go on that date with you."

Hopper gives you a big smile and leans in for a kiss, which you gladly accept.
