so this was another attempt at stretching myself beyond what i feel like i can do comfortably. i can't draw without references and generally i just draw scenes from whatever source media, note for note.

when i was listening to this song a bit ago, i had this idea of the boys slow dancing to this song all sweaty and tired after a hunt in some dingy bar. made me think of a scene from euphoria, s2e3 in a flashback with two young men who dance and kiss in a gay bar. the bar was exactly the kind of thing i wanted. i wasted hours trying to find other pictures to use as reference instead but i ended up going with the euphoria scene.

i'd seen quite a lot of gifs from this entertainment weekly photoshoot and there were some really nice moments between jared and jensen that i thought i could tinker with a little to make sam and dean and a slow dance/hug/shuffle

so i needed to change lighting, clothing, accessories, some of the background items.. definitely outside of my abilities generally but trying to push myself. kinda got lost in the sauce of the background and melding the people into the background i'm still not sure really worked. i'm sure it's the lighting letting me down. i tried though and now i wanna shove the painting out of my car and drive off

Ngl I really just don't care for any criticisms of John that refuse to acknowledge that John is not in our world, and he shouldn't be judged like a parent from our world would be. John lives in a universe where basically everyone's worst nightmares are just OUT THERE, and some of them are specifically after HIS KID.

Like yeah he gave a 5th grader a hand gun but like. That 5th grader is being sought after by literal demons AND his mom was successfully killed by the exact same group/type of entity while under John's roof. Why the fuck would he do anything OTHER than arm the kid, given his level of knowledge about demons at the time??

also like what did dean expect -- sam to just smile n wave it off like no he is gonna be pissed n for good reason hopefully the show LETS him be pissed for a while at least tho i bet not cuz why should sam get to experience emotions

n his spiral about benny is making me like them both less like why is the show so set on making benny this symbol of innocence w dean as his protector and then make sam like a villain who's dead set on hunting him just cuz he's a vampire

n deans 'i owe him' pissed me off so much cuz like sam owed amy pond for saving his life when they were younger when she literally KILLED her OWN MOTHER but dean doesn't give a shit about that

he's allowed to do whatever dean wants but sam must obey whatever he says or does and never accuse him of anything bad cuz deans innocent of everything and is always right

Half of the reason I'm still on this hell site is to see this place explode when The Elite inevitably does a Supernatural-themed entrance. Like you know how funny that's going to be?

First, the throwback to a show that ended like 3 years ago and then inevitably the post of "Did you know the guys who did that Supernatural entrance are actually involved in an over 2-decade-long wrestling gay soap opera spawning multiple continents and companies told both across a wrestling ring, a youtube show and sometimes Twitter?"

And all the doors that will open to other wrestling storylines and people may finally see wrestling for the art form it is and it'll be beautiful

JUST MY OPINION

The most ridiculous story line I ever saw was Dean locking Michael Dean in his head ...It was so ridiculous..clearly they tried to rehash S6 storyline of Death putting a barrier between Sam's thought and he'll Sam's thoughts but here is an issue, Death putting a barrier in Sam head made sense coz Sam was fighting with his own thoughts and hell memories. He was hallucinating Lucifer, he wasn't their for real. But with Dean there was no diety/ stronger force that put "barrier" freezer in Dean case to stop Michael...Most imp writer missed the point that Sam was hallucinating Lucifer while Dean was possessed by Michael, he wasn't hallucinating Michael..Michael was actual their trying to take control. So the whole Locking Michael in freezer arc was hilariously bad. you could see how lazy the writer were that they didn't bother to find logic before rehashing previous work forget thinking of something original.
