Battle Mechanic Concept: Aura Fusion
I posted about this months ago, but here’s a better example of what I was talking about. It’s essentially Terastilization with extra steps; a Pokémon faints to give a compatible party member a power boost and one of nine Fusion Types. Most only get an effect added on, but a select few get a new form entirely. Aura Fusion converts moves into a new move, Dynamax style, based on the preexisting Type and category (contact, cutting, beam, etc). This enables popular fanmade Types to become a reality without having to permanently retcon prior Pokémon.
A Fire Type giving a boost to a Rock Type or vice versa replaces the corresponding type with the Light Type (Fire/Rock Types like Magcargo become pure Light). Light Types typically invoke either jewelry, radiation, or angels.
Fusion Diancie evokes the look of her Mega while taking her in a more “rebellious princess” style.
Coalossal riffs on the old “coal to diamonds” myth, and between his stubby legs, massive crown, and back protrusion, he looks downright kingly.
Geodude takes a page from Graveler and finally starts to live up to his name, becoming a living geode.
Charizard joins the list of Godzilla expies because I welcome our vermilion reptilian overlord.
Charcadet takes the best from his evolutions and looks positively radiant.
Volcarona isn’t too drastic a change, he just gets the extra eyes to tie together the angel and moth motifs. He’s also far fluffier.
Houndoom gets a full on redemption arc and also adopts the angel look. His interlocking horns might be a bit much, but eh. That’s afterlife.
Finally, Glimmora, whose body structure’s flipped a bit and is wearing a very familiar emblem atop her head…
My only concern is balancing. Geodude and Charcadet are obviously far weaker than the others here, so I could probably just give them each a preset BST rather than a strengthening them by a set amount like the Megas. And don’t worry, the item used to access the unique fuses forms doubles as an Everstone for them.

“I’ve heard stories that within the Pinwheel Forest, are two titans who protect the forest. A Unfezant and a Scolipede. No one knows how these two came to be, but they have been seen working together to protect their home.. this must of happened when Cipher invaded the forest… these Pokémon must of seen the pain that those humans have done, thus they took matters into their own hands. The Scolipede dawns vine thorns all over its body as the thorns themselves are coated with poison, paralysis, and sleep toxins. Even the scars on its body, as if it fought its own kind as a form of dominance and order, having full respect as it shows the same in return.
The Unfezant meanwhile, she is a very odd one. She wears her own ribbons similar to her male counterpart, but she is very picky with her partner. If one looks strong enough to not only help her raise their young, they have to be clever with their battles… and clever they are. She’s been spotted wearing vast colors all over her body, and if a Pokémon threats the weak she will get in front of them and perform a beautiful dance… well, I think it is. Using her colors to create some sort of confusion to her opponent as they run away in fear.
The two are good in their duties… but I’ve noticed they looked worried, as if Cipher returned… but more strange men accompanied them… Ranger? What does this me?”
An old woman finished as she asked worriedly, causing both Solana and Lunick to give the old woman reassurance. “Don’t worry ma’am. Everything will be okay, we’ll investigate the Forest to see anything has happened.” Lunick spoke, giving a big smile.
“Before we go however, are the two Pokémon aggressive towards any other humans?” Solana ask, wanting to stay cautious for what the two will be facing.
“If your harm any other Pokémon, they will respond. If you are being kind to the Pokémon and being a normal trainer I believe you will be okay….” The old woman then looked down with sadness as she turned her head over to the Forest.
“Ma’am? Is everything okay?…” Lunick asked with worry..
“I remember a Leavanny who had a wonderful heart of gold… caring for every Pokémon in the forest… especially her own. She sadly passed away from an illness, leaving her young behind, I truly wish to know if those little Sewaddles are okay…” The old woman finished, as she turned back to the Rangers. Having tears on the edge of her eyes. “Please Rangers, protect the Pokémon and Forest… it seen enough heart ache already…”
“Yes ma’am! We’ll accept it as our mission! We advised you and everyone remain in the city. We have no clue what we’ll be facing. Lunick, Plusle, and Minun let’s go.” Solana spoke with readiness and determination as they settled off into Pinwheel Forest.
As the rangers left, the old woman began to softly hum a song… as she fully sang…
“There once lived a fox in the forest of old
Who donned a magnificent crown of bone
With eyes of jade and fur to match the flames
The all-seeing-owl foretold of his reign
Dreamt of the future again and again
Foretelling his story, the end of all ends
And the trees overheard what he said
The animals panicked in all different ways
The deer they froze and the birds they sang
A chorus of warning, of doom soon to come
How the great forest king would be slain…”
As the song echoed, two Pokémon rose from the darkness. Looking ready to any foe who stands in their way… the Pinwheel’s Guardians have come…

It's the last week of September which means the last week of Su!c!de Awareness and Prevention Month (you should always be mindful even if it's not September but it's still rad there's a month dedicated to it).
I don't talk about it much myself cuz it's pretty personal, but as someone who's attempted a few times I like to imagine I have a decent enough reason to be loud and obnoxious about it :) especially when talking about reasons that I'm happy I didn't end up completing.
For example I never would've seen Luffy unlock Gear 5 😩❤️ I never would've seen Sabo again, or watched the Jurassic World Trilogy. I love those movies so much.
I never would've met my friend M, who is now my irl best friend and possibly the closest friend I've ever had before. She had such a monumental impact on me, I even discovered my career thanks to her encouragement.
I also never would've met some of my closest fandom friends like Kel ❤️ my writing never would have gotten to the level it's at now ❤️ I never would have met my roommate who's definitely part of my found family ❤️ I never would have been able to adopt my little Kotatsu, and who knows where she'd be if I hadn't taken her home?
I never would have gotten the chance to get so many tattoos, and I intend to get many more, so I can't be dying yet either 💪
I'm exhausted and the world is kind of a mess, but I'm not entirely upset I continuously failed to delete myself from the game before it had even gotten good; and I foolishly still have hope that it'll get better. I think I'm too jaded and stubborn to think otherwise anymore. Shit sucks, but one time when I was at the store this random older guy gave me a rose just because (he gave them to everyone in line). And my cat makes squeaky sounds when she yawns. And there's this stray cat I call Bikepath who always comes up to say hi to me when I go on walks. And it rained last Monday. And it's almost Halloween. And I bought myself donuts the other day. And my boss says I was born to be a baker. And my other boss says I make really pretty cupcakes. And I got my roommate the coolest gifts for Christmas and can't wait to see his face when he opens them. And the One Piece Live Action is INCREDIBLE. And Sabo will be showing back up in the anime soon. And I just got a new laptop which has been helping me write more. And Kel bought me my first ever Pokémon game. And coffee is pretty damn delicious. And I saw the chunkier honey bee in the actual world sitting on a sunflower the other day. And I get to see my cat when I get home from work. And I bake cookies and cakes for a living. And I've been self funding tons of Sabo themed enamel pins lately and I need all of them finished and in my hands. And did I mention Sabo? Oh yeah and Dragon too. And One Republic put out a 2023 version of Counting Stars that fucking kills. And the band Citizen Soldier exists.

So, I might have completely revamped the starters for Pokémon Rose and Jade.
Pseedwing, the Parrot Pokémon. Pseedwing are observed basking in the sunlight in groups. It is theorized that they communicate through eye contact.
(New Move: Seed Blast. The user fires a seed at the opponent with pressurized air. Basically the equivalent of Leafage or Branch Poke.)
Babric, the Wool Pokémon. Babric store spare body heat in their wool. While they act snobbish, they tend to stick close to their trainers to absorb more body heat.
Aguma, the Cub Pokémon. Aguma are naturally competitive and playful, but also melodramatic. They swim at remarkable speeds to catch their prey of fish Pokémon.
Pokémon Rose and Jade takes place in the region of Olvous, which is based on California. This set of starters goes the route Galar does by being based on entertainment and public media, all of which will become more obvious as they evolve.

Random Twisted Wonderland Headcanons <3
Heartslabyul:
- When Riddle is mad, Trey often sneaks desserts to Ace and Deuce
- Trey carries bandaids, fidgets, lipbalm, hairties, and other things because Older Brother Figure tm
- Cater paints adeuce, trey, and riddle’s nails for ✨magicam✨
- if deuce gets in a streetfight, ace secretly cheers him on
- ace and deuce copy off of eachothers notes, thinking the others is correct, and then they both fail </3
- Riddle mails his grades to his mother to try to make his mom happy
- Deuce frequently texts his mom to make sure shes okay
- every pride month, cater paints the roses different pride flag colours
Savanaclaw:

Octavinelle:
- Jade strolls along beaches and collects seashells
- floyd definitely had a pokémon phase /hj
- floyd frequently teases azul for his past
Scarabia:
- kalim visits every club when he can
- jamil secretly learns baking lessons from trey
- kalim once asked jamil what hentai was because idia accidentally talked about it, jamil proceeded to screech at idia
- jamil is always done with everything, do not test him
- coach vargas constantly asks jamil to help tutor students because he can’t tutor all the kids who have trouble with flying brooms
