Underwater

I like to dream that I'm underwater A current gently drifting me away to far places I like to dream about making friends with a starfish and living in harmony with the shark who saved me from a barracuda I like to dream that I migrate with dolphins and protect guppies from eels then later swim alongside the eels feeling the electric radiating from their core In these dreams I'm free In these dreams I have a beautiful tail that is so strong that it makes hurricanes and stops them before they reach the shores I dream about swimming through miles of coral and waving hello to the friendly neighborhood clownfish I greet the manatees and help them avoid boats and tell them they are just as beautiful as a lion fish no matter how slow they go I sing songs with the whales and laugh with the dolphins I nap with the starfish and battle alongside the lion fish I watch the anemones wave with the sea and I listen to belugas shriek with joy I like to dream that I'm underwater And when I'm there, no one can hurt me
