Fox liked dreams; they were better than the nightmares that usually plagued him. He didn’t get them often but he would often wake up with tears down his cheeks as he tried to fight down the hope that the dream could come true.
He stopped believing in hope a long time ago.
But Fives would talk freely about his dreams, cracking jokes to make Fox smile lightly and to help him relax after a hard day. More often than not the dreams always had the arc trooper in it, his feelings for the man growing deeper everyday.
He found that he loved those dreams, and would hold them close as if they were the most precious thing to him. Not if they were.
Rex and Fives Werewolf
At first the GAR was thinking about killing off the ones that weren’t normal.
Rex was one of them. It wasn’t the blonde hair, or the freedom of his thinking thanks to General Skywalker’s influence. But it was the accelerated healing, the strength and extra speed that was unexplainable.
Fives and Rex knew they were meant to be just from the first whiff of each other’s scent. They couldn’t explain it but they couldn’t let each other go. They had heard the whispers from the locals of werewolves but Rex never thought about putting a name on what he was.
As long as he had Fives, he didn’t give a damn.

Thank you all for this wonderful milestone on "Isolated" ❤💛❤ 900 kudos! 😘
This started as an impromptu comfort fic when the pandemic hit us full force and England went into lockdown. I hope a few of you found comfort in the stories posted during this hard time - as reading and writing helped me.
Thank you for all your comments, reblogs and words of encouragement - they keep me writing. I see and appreciate every one of you ❤

Lady Ly waves with the skeleton residents as the last of the tea party guests leaves the house. "Last one back to the lounge is in charge of clean up." Lady Ly laughs at the clatter and scramble of bones as the boys race back into the house.
Thank you to everyone who came and had tea! I had a great time writing the dates. I'll have to do more match ups down the road. For anyone wanting to design their own cup of tea, here's the link!

I'd love to have tea with one of the skeletons! I like reading, writing, cooking, sewing, and seeing/petting animals! Personality wise I think I'm the kind of person who lay in front of my computer all day but would go out in the cold just to see some deer. Animal watching and encounters are my life and I'd probably go on about that a lot. That or funny stories about my family. I'm an older sibling, so I have a protective streak but I can be a bit childish, I sometimes do little pranks but admit to them easily with a nervous laugh. I'm prone to self deprivation and over think things. Am definitely a night owl, with my crazy insomnia. My favorite places to visit are libraries, museums, aquariums, forest, and out door markets. I like wandering in general and probably could give a lot a stories about that. But I like hearing stories from others as well, especially funny ones or just the amazing things they have seen.
You got Sans!
The lounge was warm with the many people and monsters hanging out together. @cf8wrk4u-us was attempting to peer around one of the taller skeletons to get a look at the little bird feeder hanging outside one of the windows.
"i 'seed' ya found our squirrel bait."
Cf8wrk4u jumped a little at Sans’s quiet voice behind them. He chuckled and offered a simple tea cup and saucer.
"wanna better view?" He asked.
Cf8wrk4u agreed and followed Sans out into the back yard. He wandered out into the grass until he had a clear view of the bird feeder, then sat himself down on the ground. Cf8wrk4u joined and watched the feeder with him.
"we used ta get squirrels all the time stealing the bird seed." He explained. "but stretch had the idea ta grease the pole so they couldn't climb up."
A red-winged black bird landed on the feeder and pecked at the seeds.
"mutt wanted ta rig up some lights and music to go off as they slid down but we didn't want ta encourage squirrel stripping if we weren't gonna get a cut of the profits for using our pole."
Cf8wrk4u laughed as Sans continued. "but then the squirrels got smart," He pointed at the tree nearby. "they started climbing the tree there and jumping ta the feeder."
Cf8wrk4u made a noise of understanding, it was easy to figure out why there was a greasy looking umbrella above the feeder now.
Birds flitted to and from the feeder as Sans and Cf8wrk4u traded funny animal stories all afternoon.
