Mephistopheles "giving" Haarlep to Raphael in order to "distract naughty son".

It's just...a really shit thing to do, obviously. It strips Raphael of agency and power to a degree.

However, Raphael turned the situation in his favor as much as he could, and took his power back.

Which is another reason I LOVE the character. He really knows how to make the best out of a bad situation.

This thing is bugging me a lot, recently.

In HLV, during that 'Watsons' domestic' scene, right after Sherlock was shot and John got know about Mary being the one who shot him; don't you think Mrs. Hudson was being way too passive?

Like the whole yelling and arguments between Sherlock and John (and Mary, occasionally) are taking place right in front of her. She must have at least got to know the gist of the situation. (She knew about Mary being an assassin- Sherlock had called her the leader of that drug cartel to make a comparison in front of John in order to prove a point).

And yet, all she's worried about is the neighbours when John screams and kicks at the furniture in the sitting room.

What I'm trying to say is that Mrs. Hudson remains an important part of Sherlock and John's life till the end of The Final Problem but we never get to know about how she truly feels about Mary.

She was reacting to Mary quite normally in TEH and TSOT because nobody knew about her past at that time but in HLV she looks unnaturally passive, particularly in the scene I mentioned above.

YEEEEEAHHHH it is a bit odd, but honestly, what more can she do other than fret in her Mrs Hudson way? The trio were already bullish and I honestly don't think she could have done more than fret about it.

BUT yeah, I think there are hints in the series that she doesn't really like the idea of John-and-Mary (TEH she's shocked John is engaged, and iirc she does kind of niggle at John about Sherlock's state-of-mind? been a bit, LOL). I mean, I PERSONALLY headcanon that she doesn't like Mary, so that may be personal bias sinking in on that front, but she does participate in some capacity at the wedding, and the baby's baptism, so I dunno.

But yeah, I forever will see Hudders as a Johnlocker, LOL.

Everyone gives Sherlock Holmes a hard time about being mean about Watson's writing, but honestly imagine you told your roommate "sure, you can write up an account of my work for the newspaper," thinking it would be like, about the murder, but then he publishes it and it's 90% about you, as a person, and it's a huge hit and now everyone in London knows that you hoard newspapers and do cocoaine when you're depressed. The constant rolling disaster that is Overwatch's game development aside, what really perplexes me about how Blizzard is handling the broader franchise is their continual insistence that a canon narrative exists in spite of their equally continual refusal to tell anyone what it is.

Like, okay, the events of the games aren't canon. Fair enough: the games are multiplayer-only, and you can't account for player actions.

Oh, and the animated short films aren't canon either – they're properly understood as in-universe propaganda, not depictions of actual events. That's a little high concept for you guys, but fine.

But surely the comics are canon, right? Well, no; some of the comics (we're not telling you which ones) were canon at one point, but the writing team has decided to go in a different direction.

no offence but the reason tumblr is “dying” is, well, yes, of course the cursed like/reblog ratio and the change in user behaviour (because of people being used to how instagram and tiktok work) BUT also the lack of weekly shows. i say it with my whole chest, they don't produce captivating and engaging stupid weekly tv shows anymore because streaming killed that so you have spikes of activity here when Something happens in general fandom or up to three days after a new season of whatever drops and then it's a wasteland. this is obviously an old woman yelling at a cloud missing supernatural and the vampire diaries and pretty little liars and all these other shows type of post but honestly give me back weekly tv shows where i have something to watch for 40 minutes almost every day of the week after work so then i can read and reblog it on tumblr give it back for the sake of my sanity
