As long as targeting marginalized people continues to rake in money and clout for online grifters, I have bad news for how long Livewire would keep up her Kryptonian hate campaign! She'd have to adjust her narrative with other types of Supers. It's all an extension of the grift.

I just wanted to say I really appreciate your last post, particularly the tags. My baby brother was born stillborn last week and seeing 'you'll never truly forget them' really resonated with me. I know it's not the same as twins but, yeah. Sorry this is sad, you can ignore this ask if you want.

My goodness I'm so sorry for your loss that's devastating :'( I'm glad my post was able to provide some comfort.

One of my favorite surviving twin stories is someone (who didn't know they had a lost twin) writing a list of their favorite names. Unknowingly, they wrote the first and middle name of their lost twin- and this came as a shock to their parents. When the parents asked where they got the name from, the surviving twin replied "I always liked how it sounded."

All this to say I'm sure your baby brother knew they were loved, even before they knew what that meant. Take care.

Random question, how come Goldie's form is that of a small child if he died in the womb? And if his spirit/soul aged, how come he's not the same age as John? Was there something that happened that stopped his aging, or is that just how John sees him?

Other than me following how Goldie/Golden Boy looks like in his first appearance in Hellblazer (though I aged him down a bit), I imagine that John perceives Goldie as someone growing with him but as John quickly loses his childhood innocence, Goldie stops growing.

In his teen years John tries stubbornly to be independent, out of survivor's guilt that he's growing up while his brother can't.

They stick together. I like to think of Goldie as the one spirit out of Constantine's ghost crew who doesn't hate or blame him for their death. John still feels awful about it because of course.

I do enjoy reading people's interpretations of Goldie's age being a reflection of how John remembers and grieves him. That's sweet.

I cried a little at the Teen!Ma'al sketches. which I NEVER do. He's just a baby! Tiny little boy who just needed someone. Who was pulled away from his brother "for their own good".

Aww shucks?? omg thank you! I really want people to see Ma'al that way because he's constantly cut off from the one guy who cares about him (and is punished for caring about him) in the canon comics and it's sad!
