then growing up he got into classics

he prefers reading this kind of books because they teach you more

tallest boy you've ever seen, somewhat taller (only by few centimeteres) than Fred and George

he plays the cello, like kind of, he knows how to play a piece only studying it, i believe this man was never able to play a piece at first sight

surprisingly (to him) he really has a lot of things in common with Luna, when he found out he wanted to spend more time with her

he's really silent, but GOD does he ever stop thinking?? his head is loud af

enjoys being with his friends, they're used to him not shouting in their ears (unlike some other boy *cough cough* Mattheo *cough cough ... cough*)and he enjoys their company and they do too

not the type of boy to run to Spotify or whatever music app whenever he can, but he enjoys some kind of music (mostly smooth piano jazz, dramatic classical music since it's my fav, and he thinks TV girl, Lamp, Ichiko Aoba are cool)

never replies quickly, he's always late replying cuz thinks being on his phone is a complete waste of time, but it's not like he's NEVER on it

He tried to go to a party since Blaise, Draco, Enzo, Theo, Pansy (basically everyone you get it)... begged him to come along

The music was too loud, the people were to close to him, everyone was shouting, there were alcohol and drugs (he still wonders how they got literal drugs into the castle), everyone tried to dance with him and talk to him, that time he got overwhelmed tried to leave, but they were all like 'heyyyy nooo dont leaveeeee stay hereeeeee' but his friends understood it wasn't for him and Blaise went with him to his dorm, waited until he felt better then went back to the party

When his mom died he was 5 so he didn't understand

when he finally knew the truth he cried for weeks, then he would occasionally go out to look at the stars, which he always admired with his mom, and cried thinking about her, thinking that she was watching him from up there

when he was like 10 he didn't cry no more, only if he ever opened up

he NEVER let ANYONE call him Teddy, he always though that is what his mom called him, and he didn't want other people to 'interfere' with that, he feels like it's their thing

defo has an obsession with sharks, but is even more obsessed with jellyfish, he knows a lot of scientific names for their species, for exmample Phylloriza Punctata, or Chrisaora Quinquecirrha, or Aurelia Aurelita, he's obsessed

Fav subject isn't potions, it's astronomy instead

my man absolutely doesn't know how to talk, he speaks too fast, and when ppl tell him to slow down, then he thinks he's talking too slow

if anyone fatshames any of his friends, or is racist/homophobic towards them, or just insults them, he will try to avoid throwing punches, but lets say he'll exchange a word or two with that person

if he's itchy, he scratches so hard there could be blood (a bit exaggerated but you get it)

I’m 5’1”/155cm, very curvy but also surprisingly strong for a woman. Natural blonde with blue eyes but my hair is a different color like every few months (it’s blue right now! 🤭). I pretty much only wear makeup when I go out; the rest of the time it’s only mascara and brows. I like to wear superhero or witchy t shirts, leggings or jeans and combat boots, or in the winter I love my silly cozy sweaters.

I’m an INFJ, Ennegram Type 9. I am very definitely an introvert that prefers to spend time alone at home or in the woods with my dogs. I devour books, mostly fantasy/romance/mystery, I love playing cozy games or adventure games, and I write like a fiend. I’m a practicing witch.

I take a long time to bond and trust people, but when I am close with people I’m very hyper, affectionate, bubbly, sweet and loving. I still do best one on one or in very small groups. I’m a professional dog trainer and have several Border collies who I spend most of my time and energy on; they are my heart and soul. We do EVERYTHING together 💙 my favorite part of my day is being outside with them.

Months went by, and everytime you went into town your eyes scanned the stores, streets, and faces of people to find Soap

Yeah, he told you he was in the military

You kinda figured he was most likely to be far away somewhere in some country or countries

You just hoped that he make it back safe

In the short amount of time, you had come to enjoy being around him

Plus your collies loved him

And he loved them, as well, as if they were his own

It warmed your heart to see him playing with your dogs outside, petting them, giving them scratches

Right now, you felt your heart tighten and your eyes water a bit

You missed him so much

You hoped every day and night that Soap would be always protected and return

One day, you saw him and you never felt more happy to see anyone

Your dogs reflected your happiness, their tails wagging

He saw you running to him, your dogs running faster then you and leading you, it seemed like

Okay ☝️ first we’re gonna start with my WOKE headcanons 😍

I hc Sebek as Uranic!!! (Simple but I like it :3)

I also HC him as Egyptian and Mexican!!!

He has Audhd (and a more recent hc of mine BPD and NPD)

😢😢 one thing about me is I have stim Hcs for my neurodivergent characters sooo yeah ummm I’m gonna share a few :3

Yelling and being loud is a stim but it’s also because he has bad impulse and volume control!

He grunts and coughs a lot and also grits his teeth

He has a lot of stims using his arms like clenching his fists, cracking knuckles, flapping his arms/hands (something he picked up from Malleus) and moving his arms a certain way

A lot of his stims include his mouth of arms/hands!

Most of his stims he keeps to himself, especially the ones that draw attention/are disruptive

He chews stuff A LOT. His pens are CHEWED UP. He finds it embarrassing but he can’t help it :(

He can get overstimulated easily, but sometimes it just depends.

When he’s overstimulated he tends to hit his head

He used to get overwhelmed and overstimulated somewhat easily and would start tearing up. When he entered NCR he decided he would stop doing that to be the best guard possible. He still tears up when overwhelmed and overstimulated but it’s rare and in like.. long extreme situations.

LOVES HUGGING AND SQUISHING/SQUEEZING. Gives bear hugs. Absolutely bone crushing hugs. His hugs could probably fix your back- or make it worse 😭

Has probably masked unknowingly, but it NEVER lasts.

Also has tics that tend to be triggered in cold weather. Occasionally warm weather.

Mostly motor tics like head jerking!

Sebek is a very physical person. He LOVES hugging and doing anything with his body. He loves working out and moving and stimming because it keeps him happy. He just feels the need to be active or it feels like he’ll explode- he feels things very intensely and a lot of it stresses him out because his emotions are too strong and big to handle

Another thing is he’s terrified of kissing on the lips- Every time he tries to do it he gets scared and backs out- and if he does manages to kiss *insert person you ship him with* it doesn’t last- like. It only lasts 1 second and he immediately backs away because he just can’t take it 😭 not because he doesn’t enjoy it! It’s just he gets embarrassed and soemthing about it makes him really nervous

I think Sebek is half crocodile fae…so like… physically he’s a bit different… but not a lot compared to his mother or grandfather!! I think that he has teeth a bit similar to crocodile teeth! But because he’s still young they don’t look the same they do for his mom and stuff :3 (if that makes sense lol)

HE HYPERFIXATES ON ALL OF HIS FAVORITE PEOPLE/ CLOSE FRIENDS!!! I like to think he has hyperfixate on silver, Lilia, his mom, dad, grandpa,siblings etc. at points of his life.

On his parents when he was little, later Baal and when he met Lilia he hyperfixated on him, then silver. .. and basically it progresses like that.

Currently it’s malleus (obviously) but he is obsessed with other things, like culture and Lilia. But they’re not the biggest focus.

Oh he has loads of scars. Not only from him training and fighting, but because he loves running around! He has little scars and bruises on his legs and arms because of it :( accidentally hurting himself while having fun and running. A lot of times he wakes up with new ones too, it’s very confusing to him.

Sebek likes wearing funky weird little socks…. Like… I do think he wears formal white/black socks but he also has socks with patterns, matching ones, mismatched ones, colorful ones, ones with little patterns….

Eeek Sebek loves pink <3 and also likes yellows and reds but prefers pink he thinks the color is so cool and fascinating

OMG HE LOVESSSSS FLOWERS SO MUCH <33 he loves looking at them and collecting them! He has a secret book with a bunch of pressed flowers <3 he doesn’t know a lot about their meanings but he does really like them, and can identify some of them :3

His hair is wavy but also kind of nice to touch? He brushes it constantly so it ends up being somewhat soft

Whenever he loves someone or thinks someone is so super cool he will praise them so much <3 he is my hype man <3 he’s also very honest and pretty blunt so you can tell when he’s honest…

He likes making his own things :3 he loves doing hand crafted stuff….especially with like wood…. And plants…sometimes metal/iron. It’s kind of like a side hobby…..

🎮 — favorite video game(s)?

Let's see! The B.ioshock series will always have a special place in my heart (I vastly prefer 1 and 2 over Infinite, actually, and I have lots of reasons for that), but recently G.od of W.ar has been where my heart has been living. Not just 2018 and R.agnarok, but the entire series. Because the series as a whole leads up to the later games, and gives it that much more emotional punch, and.....I could go on about G.oW at length (and have, on my blog that has all of my characters ^^).

🍝 — favorite food(s)?

This sort of thing depends on the day of the week, how the stars are aligned, and the weather, among other things (this will be a trend with some answers). But a good go-to is some form of pasta or potatoes.

🍦 — favorite ice cream flavor(s)?

This is another one that varies! But mint chocolate chip or cherry and chocolate are delicious. (Not necessarily together, but!) I just....kind of really like ice cream, so I will eat most flavours. (When they're things that are supposed to be ice cream. I doubt I would enjoy, like, the ranch ice cream or ketchup, for example.)

🐶 — any pets?

I do have a pet! I have a doggo. His name is Dug, he has just met you, and he loves you. (I also claim Missa's cat Monkey as mine, but he does not currently live with me.)

This is another "that depends!" Because this answer has changed vastly over the years. A book that will usually rank towards the top is G.ood O.mens, and honestly anything by T.erry Pr.achett.

📺 — favorite movie(s) and/or tv show(s)?

Haha, well, currently, there's the obvious current hyperfixation. But other than that, T.he O.wl H.ouse, B.attlestar G.alactica, and G.argoyles are all top faves.

🗒 — what is/are your favorite genre(s)/theme(s) to write?

This is such a hard question. I love writing all sorts of different things! I think probably things that let me really delve deep into a character, to explore why they are the way they are, and to help them grow beyond that, if that makes sense. But I'm up for writing most things, really!

🎧 — do you write while listening to music/podcasts/videos/etc, or do you need total silence?

Oh, DEFINITELY with music. Music is one of those things that can absolutely make or break what I'm writing, for myself. I become almost unstoppable if I have a playlist for specific characters, because it can actually help me get into the right mindset for the specific character.

🤗 — are there any rpc mutuals that you’d like to meet irl?

Honestly, I'd love to meet any of my darling moots! I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple (Missa being the most obvious) from previous rpcs, and my track record is pretty good! (We don't talk about my former roommate because he was an outlier.)

😗 — what are some of your favorite things to do when you have some time to yourself?

I definitely love reading, which I don't do as much as I want to. But audio books have really helped with that, over the past few years. I also play/prep for D&D, work on various cosplays, and practice my various instruments (which I should also do more of, oops).

oooh okay! i already did nina here so i’ll just infodump about my guy toby instead

-so let’s begin by addressing the elephant in the room

- in my au, toby has tourette’s, asd, and cipa ONLY

- i know canonically he’s also supposed to have bpd, schizophrenia and some other stuff but 1) i don’t think i could accurately portray all of these conditions in the same character 2) giving all of the creeps “scary” mental conditions feels wrong to me…

- so instead, in my au, experiencing symptoms such as hallucinations or manic episodes is closely linked to the slender sickness, which i’ll infodump more on in a later pose

- as for the stuff he does have…

- let‘s make one thing clear: cipa is not a superpower. we evolved to experience pain for a reason, it helps us know if something is wrong with our body.

- this means toby can’t tell when he’s hungry or overheated, and as such he also can’t sweat to cool down, meaning he’s prone to seizures. it also means he doesn’t know when to get his wounds checked out or cleaned.

- luckily, he has a very good support group at the mansion

- his partners make sure that at least one of them is with him during meal times to make sure he eats and also make sure there’s at least one fan turned on in his room whenever he’s in there

- on missions, one of the other proxies is often given the highly coveted spray bottle to squirt toby to cool him down, although some of the proxies are known to abuse this power against others (i.e. randomly quitting each other)

- also, yes, my version of toby does stutter, but not constantly

- as mentioned previously, i project on toby and ben a lot. as i myself have a stutter, i enjoy seeing it in other characters. like my stutter, however, it only happens when he gets overly emotional and his brain and mouth sort of disconnect(?)

- i don’t know how to explain the feeling really well so i just say that my brain is a few words ahead of my mouth and sometimes that causes a disconnect, resulting in stuttering. for me at least, it usually happens in multisyllabic words, but i feel that toby’s stutter would be stronger than mine

- alright now the less depressing stuff!

- he’s 100% into weird instruments

- like yeah guitar and drum set are interesting but have you ever seen a cabasa or a brake drum? oh he’d 1000% play the brake drum and annoy the entire mansion

- honestly really affectionate and clingy towards friends and partners alike. he does not understand the concept of personal space at all.

- in my incorrect quotes, he’s often the one to make jokes or give dumb ideas, but he’s actually really street smart and a great strategist

- he just has a class clown sort of personality

- also he may seem to be easily distracted, but on missions this man is hyperfocused

- he gets hyperfixated on unsolved murder cases and other mysteries easily, which he then applies into his own missions

- loves forensic/detective shows! bones, rizzoli &isles, etc. plus any true crimes podcast!

- he stopped aging at 19 and stopped keeping track of his age soon after

- best friends with ben and jeff! the three of them have the best pranks and combined with y/n make the ultimate gremlin team

- sees doby and cody as his younger brothers. the three of them are pretty close and they see toby as a mentor and friend

- has a love/hate friendship with masky. the two bicker a LOT, but at the end of the day they have eachothers backs on a mission

- in terms of like basic stuff i probably should’ve included in the beginning

- he’s transmasc (genderfaun) and uses he/they pronouns

- he’s omnisexual with a masculine preference, currently in a polyam relationship with clockwork and rowan

again gonna be based on the AU where he works for the BPRD :) also because obviously autism is a huge scale, i’m just basing it off my own experiences, so sorry if it isn’t what you wanted but let me know if you want me to change it :)

- You were friends with Red, Abe and Liz

- Nuada had seen you with them multiple times

- But whenever you saw him you’d avoid his gaze, muttering to your friends and leaving the room

- He was under the impression you disliked him, but for what reason, he’d never been rude to you? 

- So he decided to talk to Red about it

- Who had given him a raised brow and a sigh

- “Look, y/n doesn’t hate you, she has autism” He starts and Nuada frowns

- “Autism? What’s that?” He asks, and Red scratches his forehead

- “Well it’s hard to classify under one vague description, but it’s a sort of communication and social disorder” He starts

- “There are different types, it’s a spectrum so everyone with a diagnosis has different symptoms” He says, and Nuada nods

- “So what makes hers different” He asks, and Red shrugs

- “She doesn’t like meeting new people, puts her on edge, too many social expectations I believe, she doesn’t like handshakes, or people touching her, unless of course she touches you first, then you know it’s ok, what else, oh yea, bright lights, she’s light sensitive” He gestures the brightly lit room. “Which isn’t particularly best being here and all, she also has hyperfixations” He says, and Nuada frowns

- “Hyper fixation? What are those” He asks, and Red explains

- “A special interest, something she’s currently interested, it can change of course, and she can have multiple sometimes, but at the moment it’s mushroom species” He says, and then looks curiously at him

- “But why do you want to know” He asks, and Nuada shrugs

- “I want to get to know her” He says simply, and Red watches him

- “Well, she’ll talk to anybody about her fixations, so why don’t you start a conversation about mushrooms” He suggests, and Nuada nods, thanking him before leaving

- Two days later he’d found you sitting at a desk, book in hand, he noticed the title from afar. Fungi, he smiled. Before walking closer, pulling out a chair and sitting down across from you, and your head shot up, looking at the man who was sitting across from you

- He gestures to your book

- “I see you’re interested in mushrooms” He offers, and you nod slowly, not sure why he’s sitting near you. But he keeps on talking

- “Did you know a single Portabella mushroom can contain more potassium than a banana?” He asks, and your interest is peaked, a grin on your face as you nod.

- “Mhm, the French first started  to popularise them in the 19th century, but before that the Egyptians and Greeks believed they’d provide energy during battle, and I suppose they were right because they would give them a lot more energy than some things they would of eaten in that era. But the Egyptians labelled them to be the plant of immortality and made it so commoners weren’t allowed to eat them-” You slowed down, looking up at Nuada, to see he was still paying attention and upon seeing he was you kept talking

- The conversation lasted a while, the two of you passing facts back and forth, Nuada even knowing some that you hadn’t

- Nuada on the other hand, was beaming at the conversation, he’d finally talked to you, and you’d enjoyed it, or so he thought, but from the way you smiled at him he had to be doing something right

- It was only now you’d realised you’d been talking for over three hours, and you bluntly pointed this out to him, and he glanced at the clock in the room

- “It appears you’re right” He says, and stands

- “Do you- want to come and get dinner with me?” He offers, you looked at the clock, it was late, meaning the hall wouldn’t be as busy as it usual, but still you looked uncertain, and Nuada noticed this

- “If it’s busy when we arrive we can always turn back” He offers, and you looked up at him, wondering why he offered, and it was at that moment you realised he knew, knew about the autism, and you frowned to yourself for a moment, you didn’t think elves knew about autism. Unless, unless he’d spoken to Red about it. But he’d only do that if he actually wanted to talk to you

- And why would he want to do that? You thought to yourself. And then you realise Nuada was still standing there, waiting for a response, and you nodded your head, following him towards the food hall

- When you got there it was relatively quiet, but he still looked at you for confirmation to go ahead, and when you nodded he smiled

- You were both sitting next to each other on the bench, making some light conversation, as you ate, and you heard the thumpy boots of Red, and you looked up and saw his surprised expression, Liz, Abe and Nuala following behind him, similar surprised expressions on their faces. 

- He walked over, taking a seat on the other side of the table, smirking

- “Looks like you made a new friend there short fry” He joked, and you frowned

- “Fuck off” You blurted out before making an oop noise at the back of your throat, apologising and he laughed. 

- “Don’t worry about it kiddo, it’s good to see you’re making friends, and you-” He turned to look at Nuada. “You do anything to upset her and I’ll curb stomp you” He says, and you laugh slightly.

- Nuada frowns, assuring him he wouldn’t, and Red nods, before standing back up

- “Well, I’ll leave you two to it” He smiles and you wave goodbye to him

- A few weeks later and you’re at Nuada’s side, the two of you closer now than before, practically never apart, if one of you was somewhere, the other wasn’t far behind.

- Nuada was fiercely protective of you, someone made a joke at your expense, they’d be threatened until they wished they could crawl into a corner and cry. 

- You let him touch you now, which was a big step, he would do it firmly, not lightly, knowing it made your skin crawl, but there would be head pats and shoulder pats most days.

- If you were in a crowded area you’d move closer to Nuada, a hand balling in the fabric of his shirt and his arm would be around you quickly, finding the quickest route out of the situation

- The others had watched your relationship progress, they were surprised with how quickly you’d accepted him into your life. You still barely let Red touch you and you had known him for over a year

- But it was quickly becoming less platonic and more romantic. His gestures more softer, sweeter, caring, forehead kisses and hugs before leaving to your respective quarters

- And it was long before the two of you were sharing a quarter. Both of you preferring to start the day together, as well as ending it together

- And he eventually kissed you one day

- Making your relationship official

- Red had still threatened even if he knew he wouldn’t hurt you. Nuala was over the moon, her brother finally accepting humanity, when a few months ago he’d set to destroy them, he was now caring for one

- He was still in tune to your needs, he knew what you liked and disliked, any fabrics that caused you discomfort, smells you were adverse too, food that made your stomach crawl. He always seemed to know when something was wrong. 

- He made your life a thousand times earlier, making sure you completed deadlines, handed in reports, took any medicine on time, ate properly

- It was easier to manage with him around

- And he wasn’t going away any time soon

La Squadra Autism/Neurodivergence Headcanons

I’m currently feeling sad because ableism is a thing, so to comfort myself I’m smacking La Squadra with the autism hammer. Here are my headcanons for who in La Squadra is autistic.

I’m not the first to suggest this boy is autistic, and it’s part of the reason I love him so much.

Very intelligent, but struggled in school due to his neurodivergence and was mislabelled as a disruptive problem child, even when he genuinely tried to please people.

Not diagnosed since his family didn’t know anything about autism and his teachers wrote him off as ‘naughty’, but after he joined La Squadra, Gelato was like ‘hey you should look into this’. Ghiaccio’s realisation was pretty much immediate.

His loud volume doesn’t always mean he’s angry. Remembering the volume that normal people speak is a genuine difficulty for him.

His main stims are pacing and leg-bouncing (I feel you man). His current main hyperfixation is linguistics.

He sometimes gets overstimulated, usually visually (bright flashing lights etc) so he prefers nighttime. Also, emotions make him anxious, both his own and other peoples. Rarely, he has been known to go non-verbal. Usually tries to hide himself away when this happens.

Used to be better at masking but made the conscious decision to abandon it once he realised the stress it was causing him outweighed the benefits. Risotto actively encourages him to be himself.

Still suffers ongoing problems with anxiety and self-esteem due to ableism he faced in the past. Incredibly grateful to his team for giving him the first environment that is accepting of him.

Okay, hear me out on this one.

A combination of autism and solitude left him with no idea how to interact socially as a child. He didn’t realise there was anything different about him until he left home at 18.

Didn’t even know what autism was until he was well into his 20s, at which point he had the classic ‘oh’ moment I’m sure many of us can relate to.

The years between joining the mafia and getting put in charge of La Squadra almost broke him for this reason.

Eventually however, he came to learn social rules by utilising his strengths- impeccable attention to detail and a logical way of thinking. He interprets a social situation not by instinct like a neurotypical person would, but by reasoning.

Ironically, he actually mastered this to the point where his reading of body language is better than the average neurotypical. This can be seen in the way he analyses Doppio. Note how he verbally explains the process in a deductive manner.

His go-to technique for masking is to just not speak. You can’t say anything weird if you don’t say anything at all.

Hyperfixates on certain eras of history. When he does speak, he occasionally can’t help but slip in bits of information about the stuff he knows.

Doesn’t have many overt stims. Instead, he d̵̡̺͙̍i̶̧̝̹̘͌s̶̤̖͂̓͊͘s̶͇̏̄̌͛o̸̦͔̙̍̍̊ĉ̸̰̥̬͛́̐í̶̱͖͙͉a̶̞͕͆͆̔̽t̶̫̬̘̊́̏ͅé̵̩̕s̸̨͎͍̦̈́̒.

The best part about a character with no canon characterisation is that you can project on them however you want.

Autism and ADHD combo baby.

Only person on the team with a childhood diagnosis, not that it did him any good. His parents just wanted a label they could stick on him to explain his different behaviour, and were disappointed when they realised he couldn’t be ‘cured’.

Similar to Ghiaccio, he was mislabelled as a problem child, but in adolescence he increasingly used rebellion as an active strategy to protest against the shitty way his family treated him. This went on in an endless spiral of his parents treating him worse and him acting out as a result until they finally disowned him at 17.

Being an autistic extrovert, he often seems weirdly excitable when meeting new people. But each night he lies in bed and thinks about every social situation he’s ever fucked up.

Eventually did learn to do a decent job of masking (mostly just by channelling Sorbet’s energy) but he doesn’t like it and only bothers for his Passione superiors.

Has a lot of stims and is incredibly fidgety. Used to have quite overt vocal tics but now they only come out if he’s especially anxious.

Would have adored the modern self-led neurodivergence movement. All the rainbow infinity badges. King.

Top 10 fave characters any/all fandoms!

OKAY G OD I HAVE BEEN MULLING THIS OVER FOREVER, and I am just..... struggling to come up with a list. I def know who the top two are, but DAMN is everyone else a revolving door of hyperfixation-fueled-fuckery.

In reverse order, to the best of my ability, we have:

10. - Bhunivelze. Gonna put Capital-G-God here at number ten. Love the fucking concept around him and the implications in the JP, but the execution and furthermore the localisation were quite frankly abysmal. Most of what I have of him is inferred or constructed, so arguably it's not his character but his concept I'm enamoured with. Even still, the guy holds a special place in my heart, doubly so since he was one of the last things me and a good friend discussed before they went MIA(miss them lots).

9. - GLaDOS. Oh. Evil. Robot. WIFE. God she is just... such a bitch, but she's so fun while doing it, you can't really be mad. There's alot of Fucked Up shit implied regarding her backstory, and lord, does it make your heart ache just that little bit. The ending is super bittersweet, with a touch of ambiguity. Would not want to be around her in real life(a sentiment that goes for most of these ~patrons~), but she's highkey swoonable from a distance. A very long distance. Preferably out the range of neurotoxins.

8. - Zant. This fucking guy... Oh Lord, this fucking guy. I have just been having a Baller of a time fleshing him out and using him as a canvas to paint out Twilight Princess. The specific hyperfixation's toned down in favour of a current variety(of which I am sure sooner or later a victor shall emerge and take the Weenie Throne), but man was it fun(if personally a bit embarassing because OCD) while it lasted. Discussion around him was what finally brought my blog to life, too; I owe this man my teeny-weeny little community. Thank you Blue Cat Alien Benedict Cumberbatch 😩🙏👌

7. - Bertholdt Hoover. GOD, it's been awhile since I touched this guy... but Bertolli....... oh, sweetie 🥺🌸. This guy did Not get a good lot in life. There's a little part of me that wishes we could have gotten more with him(beyond the fact he's confirmed to at least have a father), but also I think it's fair that his story ended where he did. Hell, that pseudo-resurrection in the finale????? God, what a punch to the gut. He's higher than Zant mostly for sentimentality's sake; been around longer, you know? Sweaty sweetie~ xoxo

6. - Solaire <3 He's new! But oh god, has he stolen my heart. This guy sticks out like a sore thumb on this list, dear god, and I love him for it. He's perfect. He's friendly. He's determined. He's sweet. His voice is so seething. He sounds like he has three bodies in his basement back home in Astora, but that's fine~ If I can get my ass off the ground, chances are you'll be seeing lots of this guy in ~2022~ I am Enamoured.

5. - The Creature (Frankenstein). This one could tie in with 4, and in terms of complexity, he might even be higher-- However, this is not a list about complexity, this is a list about my poor taste and fickle emotions~ <3 Even still, as a character from what is ostensibly my first proper Gothic novel, I've just got so much 😳💕🥺😭💓❤💖♥ for this guy; for one, 8ft hunk of uncanny beauty-turned-horror with long luscious hair and striking yellow eyes??? OH SIGN ME UP. Everyone's gushed about this guy's fucking character, I know I have, so I won't get into it but lord has he earned his spot.

4. - The Hollow Knight. God.... t h e m m e. OKAY YES, yes, they DEFINITELY line up with my type of 1. cool design 2. bigass sword 3. WOW TALL, but also... my god they are just such a sad little scringle. In a way that hits close to home, too. I've talked about it before, but as someone with a particularly thought-fueled strain of OCD and religious trauma, their whole character resonates with me on such a deep level. Bless them.

3. - Loki. --Oooooohhh, this one's an old flame. Back in 2015 Small Scrawny was obsessed with his ass. I fucking daydreamed up sad hellish scenarios while listening to Keane songs for him CONSTANTLY, baby; that was THE shit!!!!! It's been several years since then, and I've yet to see the new(ish) show dedicated just to him, but perhaps some day I'll check up and ask him what's good. So yeah, while it's been forever since I've devoted tons of care for him, he definitely holds a special place in my heart.

2. - Sephiroth. No surprise here, lmao. This guy... fucking Cosmic. He is just such a treasure trove of interesting ideas, a fraction of which I have shared in this blog. There's just so much you could do with him, so many parallels you could draw, so much to consider, it's great. He's an overthinker's dream. Plus, I can claim him as Autism Rep™ (deeply affectionate) and have everyone go 'yeah'. Love him so much, 20/10 <3

1. - Ghirahim. This guy's been with me since the beginning, and quite frankly is the yardstick to which I measure up all the others by. Over the years, my appreciation for him has mellowed out from a Ceaseless First Crush™ into an ever-wider appreciation of his character-- Or rather, its potential. While he's far more callous, I see alot of myself in him, and always have; I suppose he makes me feel seen.

And I suppose, isn't that what it comes down to at the end of the day? Feeling like some part of you or another is being seen?

I mean, that, and super-cool-swords with elegant, imposing wielders that could snap me in half.

For some honourable mentions, we have: Thranduil, for being a good ~cast member~ all these years; Princess Elise, for being absolutely massacred by SEGA and the Sonic fanbase alike-- She deserved better, I'll die mad; similarly to Bhunivelze, Eren Jaeger had some very interesting concepts and looked like he was gonna end up in a very interesting place... but then Isayama dropped the ball in the finale(I'm going to die mad about that, too), so I can't really award him much.

God, this one also sticks out like a sore thumb, but Jane Eyre is probably one of my favourite novel protagonists so far????? My god, can Jane Austen write A Woman™. I was rooting for her the whole time, and the plot turned and wound. Her dynamics with the other characters were deeply enjoyable to read, and though my memory's a tad foggy, I remember her being very relatable-- God, I hate how overused that word is, but I mean like down-to-earth; real.

It's 1:42am. This is a hodgepodge, I'm sure, but that's that. I can worry about it in... twenty business days. Yes.

High Noon In Deserted City at 96, which is sort of funny, since it's just a picture and about 1000 words. But the premise is fun! Still hoping for some hungry writer to adopt it and write something for it. :)

Which checks out, I guess – the longest fic with the most readers comes first, then the fluff, then the funny and finally the angsty and fucked up. XD

I still suspect The Plotbunny of Doom / The Renegades for Kingdom Hearts would score as my all time highest, though, if LJ likes and comments translated to the AO3 format. That fic took me and two friends three whole years to write together, was 104 chapters long and over 300k.

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I really try! Comments mean everything to me, and I want to reply to them all! But when I'm low on spoons (which is unfortunately often) I fall hopelessly behind, and then the catching up becomes an impossible-looking chore in and of itself.

I should really set some time aside every day to catch up on the last few chapters' worth of comments... I do love the interaction and discussion a good comment can spawn!

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Hm... I write a ton of angst, but only a few actually have sad endings. I'd say Eaten counts, as does Self-Inflicted, I guess. TPBoD had a very open ending that was still definitely on the somewhat hopeless side.

Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Mm, it's not usually my favourite genre (though I mean, the whole Kingdom Hearts verse is a crossover in and of itself) but it depends a lot on the source material. I guess TPBoD might soft-count, since we tossed in a bunch of non-canon references with all the world-jumping.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not as such? Oh yeah, I do recall getting a very upset comment on a non-con fic I wrote back in the KH days, by someone who couldn't conceive how you could claim to love a character and then write such horrible things happening to them. But you get those occasionally. Look, crushing my favourite characters is therapy. Doesn't mean I don't love them.

The Russian fandom are loudly aggressive in their comments on some chapters of Heaven Has A Road, but that's more focused on the characters, not me personally.

On the whole, I've been pretty spared. But then, there's little point in sending hate; I just block.

Do you write smut? if so what kind?

Oh, absolutely. Haven't really gotten to that point in the posted chapters of Heaven Has A Road yet, but we're about to unleash it aplenty in the upcoming ones.

What kind? Most kinds, I guess? Soft and fluffy, aggressive and snarly, consensual, dubcon, non-con. Mostly mlm but I've written het, too. Can't remember if I've written wlw, but I've certainly headcanoned/drawn it. A bit of kink is nice.

I prefer focusing on the chemistry and sensations when I write porn, rather than detailed physical smacking and squelching and body fluids, but that's just my personal preference and writing style.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of? Not that I can remember? I have my art stolen regularly, and I've had my online identity stolen, but I don't think anyone's stolen anything I've written...

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! Heaven Has A Road is being translated into Russian, and I'm insanely honoured and flattered!

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes – TPBoD aka The Plot Bunny of Doom, aka The Renegades, for Kingdom Hearts. I wrote it over ten years ago together with a friend and my now wife. It was a monster of a fic, I think about 320k, and the fact that we were three people helping and pushing and encouraging each other really helped keep it going!

I don't know if I would have the focus for something like it now, but it was an amazing experience I'll always treasure.

What’s your all time favorite ship?

Oh man, that changes with each hyperfixation... I may have to say Marluxia/Vexen for Kingdom Hearts, simply because it's a ship that's been around in my life for so long. I still occasionally go back to read favourite bits of the fics I wrote for them, including TPBoD.

Currently it's SongXueXiao from The Untamed, of course, and a very strong contender overall! I've dabbled a bit in poly ships before, but this is the first time I have one as my main, and I'm love them.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Uh. I don’t really have any? Because of my burnout-brain, I can only really focus on one major project at a time, and that's currently heaven has A Road. And I'm really, really hoping I will be able to finish it!

It's all plotted out, I just need to write the stupid thing. Working on it.

What are your writing strengths?

Hm, I'd say that I've developed a voice/prose over the years that I'm actually quite happy with! And I'm good at conveying/invoking emotion, if going solely by how many people comment that I've made them cry. :D

I enjoy writing dialogue, and I love working with layers of symbolism.

What are your writing weaknesses?

The actual writing process. 🙄 I'm extremely uneven and unstructured in getting the actual words down. Also convoluted and inflated text at times - sometimes I write a lot of words without actually saying anything. And English is my second language, so just nailing the correct phrasing and grammar can be a headache at times.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

If it impacts the plot – like the POV character not understanding it, then maybe. And using terms that can't be translated, absolutely! Other than that, there's little point in making a text harder for the reader to grasp by tossing in whole sections in another language for clout. Is my personal view, at least, of course other writers may disagree.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

My first online fandom that I wrote fic for was Disney Afternoon's Aladdin show. Before that, I wrote original fic. And before that, before the internet was A Thing, I'd write and draw for stories that captivated me, just for my own entertainment. If you count that, I'd probably say Phantom of the Opera was my first – I had a whole ”everyone is a horse because that's what I know how to draw” AU when I was about 10 or so, that I'd draw lots of pictures for. When I was even younger, I used to make up stories for my younger brothers, based on movies and series we had watched together. I've always been a storyteller, one way or another, if only in my own head. I wouldn't know how not to.

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I would have to say Heaven Has A Road, even though it's still unfinished. It's the first work of that sheer scope I have ever attempted by myself, and I'm honestly insanely proud of myself for what I have accomplished already!

Second would be TPBoD – The Renegades. Even though that was a shared effort, it's a very long fic that we managed to bring all the way to its intended conclusion, and I'm very proud of that, too!

Plus there are bits of both these fics I really like, and that I will go back and read for my own enjoyment occasionally.

I KNOW THIS SOUNDS LIKE COMMON SENSE BUT LIKE ive been considering making a genshin ask blog for a while now but i never really got to it cos i couldnt really decide on a character (plus the fact that their outfits are. so intricate. is also a hmm since i try to follow details to a t) (at first i wanted to do zhongli, but i feel like to be able to muse him well u need to know the lore super super well, which i dont n im too lazy to research on that aha. n u know how much i respect characterizations, especially for such a complex character like him. i also considered xiangling for a period of time mostly for guoba but also like i have 2+1 blogs here n having one more might not be a very good idea aha) (as for aesop he was my Hyperfixation Character tm also cos i looked at his kit n went Yep i could work with this. probably)

so assuming ur not a dumbass like me n u kinda know who u wanna pick, id actually say to snoop around here for other ask blogs n kinda get a feel of the... scene? is that the word? or like u know, other blogs that u can potentially vibe with. ive run a couple of ask blogs before this current one (both that have died for different reasons) n from my experience interacting with other blogs (if theyre okay with it, i think most should be) is pretty fun. it also kinda helps get ur blog around to other ppl on other blogs so they can go Oh whats this cool shit n check u out, n its also a reason why we kinda reblog promo posts for other blogs (also cos we’re always excited when someone new comes on, its really the more the merrier. we see all :eyes:). interacting with other blogs is also an option when ur inbox is looking real roomy too

another reason why i havent exactly done a genshin blog is that idk i cant actually seem to find genshin ask blogs around (i have seen rp blogs, or those that answer asks with mostly text instead of art, but thats. not my thing since i hate my own writing aha) (i did find one aether blog some time ago, but for some reason i hardly see them around anymore??? idk man i might be wrong). its not like im trying super hard to find them ask blogs, so im sure they exist out there (hopefully?? im not sure but im being optimistic). i mean theres nothing wrong with just starting an ask blog without others around, but for me i do find a difference when i interact with other ask blogs n when i dont, n i prefer when theres others to have fun with (unfortunately i couldnt find any ask blogs to interact with in my previous fandom. i tried, but the blogs i approached seemed to go inactive shortly afterwards...) plus u get to meet friends that way too :D (i made a lot of friends via idv askblogs n its really been a joy vibing with others)

as for the idv scene. gestures around me. unfortunately there are a lot of ask blogs that arent that active anymore, but theres still some of us who are alive n kicking empty inboxes, n im sure everyone would love to see a new face around. winks at u. also there seems to be a lot more blogs popping up lately, which is really heartening to see.

then u kinda just. make ur blog? n a starting introduction post so ppl can reblog it n spread the word XD n yay u have a blog i guess??? XD

i gotta say tho. dont expect ur blog to take off immediately (especially for smaller fandoms like idv, tvbh i didnt think my blog would even get half this far when i started cos of how non existent idv tumblr seemed to be) n ur inbox will probably be looking pretty empty a lot of the time (or at least filled with some that u havent quite thought of how to reply to yet aha) (but also like empty inboxes happen pretty often, im sure most of us here have experienced this problem)

in the case of the first ask blog i ever started, it never really took off at all. ngl it was kind of demoralizing n depressing but to be fair i had picked one of the more obscure characters in the series, so obscure that many ppl in the fandom would have never heard of this character before. if u wanted to know, i took a character that only appeared in the 2nd musical of the series, who also made a very brief cameo in the manga to acknowledge his existence within that universe. thats how obscure my character was, but i went with him purely because he was my favourite character. i will say though i did enjoy it while it lasted n i learnt a lot from the experience, n i think thats whats important really.

i guess this kinda leads on (not really but let me digress) to the whole uhhhh thing where if u choose a more popular character, u get more attention. which is fine i guess? if u really vibe with the character, i mean theyre popular for a reason. n choosing a more popular fandom (like genshin) would objectively also get u more viewers n numbers. but like honestly i believe that ask blogs are meant for u to have fun with, n like trying to get popular gets tiring pretty fast (this shouldnt be like a main goal, but u know sometimes u subconsciously also want that gucci follower count n bomb ass notes or something. i used to be guilty of this until i realized it isnt worth it) especially if ur not enjoying yourself in the process. (case in point: my previous fandom was considerably larger n my blog got about 700 followers within a year or so, but it got very tiring n stressful to maintain after my interest in it died, n no one was really interacting with the blog even though i tried which kinda made it even more depressing despite the so called success n popularity of the blog)

anyway on a less serious note, theres a lot of fun stuff u can do with the ask blog, like some ask blogs have really fancy tags that i really like n try to do but also like not really HAHAHAHA. i kinda just channel what i want to see in an ask blog into my own ask blogs (good art is one, i try very hard for it to be good :,DD another is characterization, n others is just extra miscellaneous arts n stuffs like au ideas or memes. these are also somethings u could work on during ask box downtimes perhaps)

uhhh another side thing is like a posting schedule i guess? like ppl would be more likely to interact (i think) if ur blog is relatively active, n this is usually determined by the last post u made (i think XD). but like generally for blog maintenence id say try to kinda find a frequency that ur comfortable with?? cos i know my once a day posting is kinda insane if i wasnt so hyperfixated on all of this n fight the urge to dump all ur replies when u finish them XD (though ive seen some blogs do that n they do it pretty frequently so its pretty nice to know once u see their post u can spend some time going through the latest batch of posts XD) the queue function is pretty useful here even though i truthfully have never really used it, i kinda just post from my drafts really but it also helps to space out ur content to seem somewhat active especially when u dont have the time to be working on replies sometimes. i hope u know what im trying to say here aha

ANYWAY that was like my 1.5 cents cos i dont even think its worth 2 cents HAHAHAHAH these are just my thoughts from running all my blogs up till now, some that are still running n the others that have just died a natural death. i wouldnt actually delete them (theyre still around actually XD) cos theyre kinda like archives n i can look back at what i did last time. cos ngl i made some high quality stuff back then, n i dont even know how i managed to do that aldhflhdsgk. also ppl do look at archive blogs every now n then for the content thats there yknow

Ok, ok, ok, ok. I am way too focus on this but I really really wanted to list out every Star Trek ship (from TNG, DS9, and VOY cause those are the ones I have seen most of) I could think of and give my opinion on it. Why? Because I don’t wanna do my math test. Lets go down the spiral of hyperfixation and little impulse control. (FYI, this became a long ass post, so read through if you want or don’t lol)

Let’s start from the beginning. 

The Next Generation: (aka gays that all share one smart brain cell) 

Picard x Crusher: Honestly, I like their chemistry, and if it became canon I would be alright with that. No real strong feelings on this ship.

Picard x Q: The epitome of enemies to lovers slow burn in 300k words. The sexual tension is too much to handle, I absolutely adore these two. They probably fucked once and Picard regrets it immeasurably. 

Picard x Riker: Nah, not for me. But you do you dudes.

Riker x Troi: Again, I quite like these two together. Two Bi Icons getting together, I’m here for it. 

Riker x Worf: Eh, Worf isn’t really a fav of mine so that makes me bias against this ship. It cool tho.

Riker x Crusher: *war flashbacks to when Crusher had sex with a Trill worm that was inside currently inside Riker’s body* Haha, fuck no. 

Troi x Crusher: Two queens getting together and tearing down the patriarchy, I stan.

Troi x Tasha: I tend to block out season one of TNG from my mind, but honestly, I like the vibe.

Data x Geordi: My OTP for this show. It should have happened. Rick Berman is a coward. They are just so sweet and they understand each other like no one else. A few of their scenes in this show made me cry. I ship

Data x Tasha: Nah, I don’t vibe. Would have been better as mlm and wlw solidarity. 

Worf x Troi: They had a few cute scenes together in the later seasons, I don’t hate neither super enjoy.

Deep Space Nine: (aka no straights in space)

Sisko x Kasidy: I liked them better in the early seasons. I think the writers low-key forgot about Kasidy until she was convenient plot device. 

Kira x Odo: I preferred it in the first few seasons where Odo had a little crush on Kira and it was kinda adorable. But after their relationship had become canon in the later seasons I was kinda disappointed.

Kira x Jadzia: I am here for this ship, two powerful women ready to take on the world together but also have their own insecurities that come up as the situation arises. Immaculate, I want it.

Dukat x Kira: Fuck no, they are enemies. Idk why the DS9 writers thought it would be a great idea to pair THESE two together. But thank god for Nana Visitor for being such a queen. 

Odo x Quark: Again, another amazing enemies to lovers ship. I love seeing those two on screen together, their chemistry is just *chef’s kiss*.

Miles x Keiko: Miles is like, the token heterosexual on this show. He loves his wife, his kids, and his job.

Bashir x Garak: Fuck yeah, OTP of this show for me gang. It was so heavily implied and it would have been so cool to see, especially in the 90s. But oh well, at least we got the actors writing and performing fanfiction for us.

Bashir x Jadzia: Yeah no, I wouldn’t ship them romantically. And the writers definetly did not favors to Bashir when they make his crush on her a bit creepy in the early seasons. But would be a BROTP for me.

Bashir x Ezri: Hnng, I don’t like. It just feels like Bashir is trying to date the Jadzia he never had and I don’t like it.

Jadzia x Worf: It’s fine, I guess. I don’t really see the chemistry.

Ezri x Jake: I mean, it’s better than Ezri x Bashir, but like, Dax has known Jake over 3 lifetimes and watched him grow up soooo, nah.

Jake x Ziyal: I am a fan. I think these two would have been really cool together especially since they are both artistic people with Jake’s writing and Ziyal’s painting. They could have done some really cool stuff together. Plus, it would make some interesting family reunion moments between Dukat and Sisko hehe.

Jake x Nog: Again, I am a fan. Tol and smol dynamics are what I am here for.

Garak x Ziyal: No

Voyager: (aka gays lost in space)

Janeway x Chakotay: The of the few straight ships I would die for. I am quite disappointed that nothing ever formed between the two because it would have been really cute and oh my god the tension the writers made between the two. I feel baited for this ship, AND IT’S A STRAIGHT SHIP! I’m sorry I have feelings about this. 

Janeway x Seven: Not a top ship of mine but I definitely see the chemistry here and I support it. 

Janeway x Paris: I only bring this up because in like season 1 or 2 they have axolotl children together because the writers were probably high as a kite when they came up with this idea for an episode. But a hard pass. 

Janeway x Coffee: I’m pretty sure this is already canon and I stan. 

Chakotay x Seven: I haven’t completely finished Voyager yet but I heard that this is the endgame for the two and WTF. I don’t see or understand it and it makes me upset, like really upset.

Chakotay x B’elanna: I’m just glad this wasn’t canon. I more just bring it up because I remembered B’elanna had a crush on Chakotay in the early seasons before Tom. And like, I get it because if Chakotay was my commanding officer I’d probably crush too girl. 

B’elanna x Paris: It’s a canon ship that I honestly kinda like. There are some moments where I’m like “oh no” and other where I’m like “YES”. But overall, I enjoy it. I just feel like there is something missing.

Paris x Kim: Fuck yea, I love these two together. Two bros turned lovers I am fucking here for it my dudes. But again, I feel like there is something else missing here.

B’elanna x Paris x Kim: Oh hell yea, I found what was missing. This is my personal OTP of Voyager. In my head I think Kim and B’elanna are just really close friends who do engineering things together. While Paris is in the corner, loving them both, but also setting the Delta Flyer on fire for the third time this week. I haven’t really looked into the Voyager tag (because spoilers) so idk if this is a popular ship. But I think they all have some really fun chemistry and I enjoy it. 

Paris x Delta Flyer: This just came to my head 20 seconds ago as I wrote the last one but I’m pretty sure this one is already canon. 

Kim x Seven: Nah

Seven x The Doctor: Hmm, do I dislike it as much as I do Seven x Chakotay? No, I do not. But do I like it that much? No, no I do not. I ship them as friends.

Tuvok x Nelix: No, not really. Opposites attract is not really my cup of tea all the time.

Nelix x Kes: Oh damn, I almost forgot about Kes. I know this is canon but where did this come from. The writers NEVER EXPLAIN IT! And then they never explain why the later broke up. I just... I just don’t understand.

pink - which is your favourite animal? zoos or farms?

Cats! And especially tigers!

And oh, the second one is a good question! I do enjoy zoos and animal parks but I just get to those quite rarely. I think Finland has only one actual proper zoo, and it's in Helsinki, and the last time I visited was in 2002 or so when I was 11. The rest here are more of animal parks which sometimes have some more exotic animals in them, e.g. a snow leopard, but mainly they have more common animals that exist in the Finnish nature as well - or they have all kinds of different ungulates which are easier to keep and set up the exhibits for.

But I think I have to say I like farms more than zoos, as long as it's not intensive farming where animals become numbers in the system instead of individuals with names. And since I am a horse groom who is occasionally dreaming of other animal related jobs, especially zookeeper's job, I still would prefer an animal park or farm animal park if it means I get to also interact with the animals from the ground instead if behind bars or glass. I really like to hang out with animals and interact with them and pet/scratch them if they like it, and I think I'd be miserable working at a zoo where I would have to only watch them.

Yeah, I can drive. I got the driver's license a couple of months after I turned 18 (in 2009). I was planning on getting it on my birthday but I failed the first test and had to do it again, and it meant I had to take a few more lessons before I was allowed to try it again. But then I finally made it - and also never forgot the roundabout traffic rules again because it was one of the reasons why I failed the first test :D

I also got a car before getting the driver's license, and my current one is my second car. It's an absolute lifesafer to own, especially in my city which is not that big but has even worse public traffic system and too many uphills to every direction. I don't love anything as much as the feeling of not having to run after busses and stress over if I'll be able to catch one or not, because I'm always running late. With my own car I'll always have a ride, even if I'm running late despite it.

I also often choose to drive to other cities instead of public transport. It's just the feels of freedom. I live in east Finland and for some reason it's always more difficult to travel horizontally than vertically in Finland, so you often have to switch busses or trains several times, or use both, and the timetables might not always line-up nicely, so it's very stressful to try and find something that would match. But with a car you can just... hop in your car and drive and you're there without worrying about switching to other vehicles.

coral - which is your favourite disney movie? who makes the better movies, disney or pixar?

The Lion King, definitely. I saw it from a VHS shortly after it came out and have loved the movie ever since. It's also the only (original) Disney, of the ones we had on VHS, that had the music I absolutely adored. I realized this only when I was already an adult and found out Hans Zimmer made the score for the film. Also the "musical numbers" are better than in most films, and I usually hate musicals.

I hyperfixated on the Lion King when it was released on a dvd (at least in Finland) in 2003 when I was 12, and I bought it as well as the sequels and just, well, hyperfixated for some time :D

I think Pixar makes better movies than Disney. I have been a "fan" of Pixar ever since Toy Story came out, altho, I haven't seen any of the newer Pixar nor Disney movies since the early or mid 2000s. I think The Incredibles is probably the last one I saw? Except for Toy Story 3, that one I have seen and it was actually great, too. And MOnsters University.

I think the reason why I was always more drawn to Pixar than Disney films were the stories. I had some of the original Disney princess movies on VHS as I was growing up and I always hated them, they were so boring? I preferred the animal movies over movies about humans, and I also often was so annoyed by the music in all those movies, apart from The Lion King and 101 Dalmatians - which I didn't even have on VHS ever but borrowed it from my cousins sometimes.

Now, as an adult, as I look back at those Pixar movies, I have realized that they probably fed my aromantic side a lot. Most of the old Disney movies were about a princess finding a prince in the end, meanwhile the princesses being extremely boring as characters. But Pixar movies were (are?) all about the adventure and friendships (or a found family, even?), and I don't remember there ever being any proper romance? Like, sometimes they indicated some sort of a romance or how there COULD be one, but I don't remember any of them ending in a romance, or that it would have been the main idea of the whole story. Or even a subplot.

So, Pixar is my answer :D And Toy Story will probably forever be The Pixar film for me. It was also one of my first childhood hyperfixations as I was already old enough to understand and also memorize things. (I was 4 or 5 when I first saw it.)
