To foster and encourage growth, you had to first begin with a seed — a start of a new life, the beginnings of a story. It was similar to how you met your husband if only a little unorthodox, but who were you to question a newfound tradition?

The morning was crisp, and the sun was bright, the beginnings of a new, hopeful day – one that you were excited to see the outcome. It was a Sunday, and the Farmer’s Market was in full swing of being set up. Even Bucky had elected to come and help on this occasion instead of working on the farm.
“Where do you want this?” Bucky asked, large crate in hand, this one full to the brim of your famous peaches.
You pointed to the end of your table. “Over there, please,” you replied. Bucky nodded and placed the crate down with a huff. “Thank you.”
“It’s lookin’ good, sweetheart,” Bucky said abruptly, right over your shoulder. You gasped quietly in surprise and turned to stare at him. “What?”
“Stop scaring the shit outta me,” you sniped, slapping his arm. “We’ve got shit to do now, c’mon.”
Bucky sighed and continued lugging crates from the bed of the truck to the stand, all while people started flooding the square, milling about the stands of produce and haggling for bargains.
An older woman, the greying strands of hair at her temples bright under the morning sun, stopped at your stall just as you finished setting up the jars of jam. “Hey there,” you greeted, beaming at her. “What can I get for you today?”
“Just some jam, love,” she said. You nodded and collected a couple of jars just as Bucky dropped the last crate with a groan. The older woman smiled at him as he stood behind you.
“All loaded, baby,” Bucky breathed, kissing you on the cheek. You nodded and pointed to a chair, indicating he should sit for a minute (if only to get him out of the way). “Damn right ‘m gonna sit after the hard work you made me do.”
“Ignore my husband,” you breathed, shaking your head.
The older woman laughed. “How did you two meet? I’ve seen you in these parts before, and everyone loves you both.”
Bucky laughed. “It’s my damn horse’s fault, ma’am,” he said, “the bastard was gone on her from the very first second.”
You rolled your eyes as the memory flashed through your mind.
The old truck you had borrowed from a friend rumbled down the road, gravel, and stone kicking up in its wake – the bitumen long overdue for a patch job.
It did add to the charm of your small town, though. Your family had spent generations farming the land and supporting the local economy by running endless farmer’s markets – a tourist hotspot, if you did say so yourself, especially going by the recent uptick in new arrivals.
The recent overtake of Parker’s Provisions by the newcomers , May and Peter Parker, had been a successful move – both having been welcomed and adored in equal measure by the townsfolk, Peter especially. That firecracker of a young man always made your day, rain or shine, and you were looking forward to your weekly supply run for the animals back home.
Though, the sight of a horse hitched at the front of the sprawling lot of buildings that made up the Parker’s Production lot was a shock. It wasn’t often that the ranchers and farmers on the outskirt properties actually rode into town. Instead, they always elected to bring their trucks and trailers.
Your truck came to a shuddering stop when you parked, and you killed the engine, taking just a moment to marvel at the horse hitched. It was a stallion, his face soft and kind, but his body was a whole other story. Muscles rippled and twitched as he stood while waiting for his rider – the build of a Quarter Horse very much evident in the stance of the creature. A barrel or cattle mount, you couldn’t quite tell.
His coat was a chocolate brown, with splashes of white over his flanks and legs, and a thick, pretty stripe adorned his face.
You couldn’t help but feel that while he looked at you, he was staring straight into you – deep into your being to reveal secrets and mysteries you kept hidden from the world.
It was unnerving, though assuring in the way that being seen was.
The driver’s door opened with a squeak, and you slid out of the truck and into the hot summer air outside. People milled about with bags and baskets, each one waving a small hello, and you smiled back at everyone politely. A loud voice inside the closest shed told you Peter was on site today, and you smiled.
“Hey, Pete!” you called, and a brunette mop of hair peeked around the doorway.
“Hey! Just a sec, I’ll be out with you soon,” Peter yelled back, disappearing again.
You chuckled and made to step towards the stallion, hand outstretched. “Hey, handsome–aren’t you a sight, huh?” The horse snorted, twitched his ears, and stared at you. “I know it’s hot out, but you look like your rider takes good care of you.”
Slowly, the stallion stretched his head out and sniffed the air around your hand, and once he made contact, the soft skin of his muzzle tickled your palm. “You’re just gorgeous,” you breathed, scratching his chin gently.
“Well, well, well–ain’t every day he finds a Peach he likes,” a voice drawled behind you, and you startled, spinning around on the spot. “Easy, love,” the man said, hands outstretched. “No harm done.”
“I’m sorry, I just- He’s gorgeous,” you rushed, hand over your heart. The man smiled and shook his head, the movement freeing his long hair from behind his ears. Taking a second, you took in the stranger. He was wearing a white tank top that was far too tight, a plaid jacket, and a pair of light jeans with boots – his hair was half up in a bun while the other half hung around his face, sticking to his skin from the sweat of a hot day.
“He is. A good horse, too,” the man said, still smiling. He walked closer, dug into his saddle bag, and pulled out his wallet. “Aren’t you, Colton? Lettin’ a pretty Peach love on you like that, huh?”
Colton snorted and nudged your shoulder, evidently displeased you stopped paying him attention. You chuckled and pet his neck, feeling the strong muscles under his skin. “A very good horse, indeed.”
The man grinned and shoved his wallet into his back pocket, then he offered you his hand to shake. “I’m Bucky, by the way–too distracted by the fact that my asshole of a horse actually lettin’ someone near ‘im that’s not me.”
This time you laughed, shaking Bucky’s hand and offering your name in return. “It’s nice seeing a fellow rancher out and about with his prize; makes me miss having my own,” you commented, slightly wistful. It had been years since you had owned a horse.
“I honestly jus’ couldn’t be bothered goin’ back home to get my truck, and Colton needed the exercise anyway, so.” Bucky shrugged. “Best be gettin’ back inside. Stuff won’t pay for itself.”
“Okay,” you said, “I best be going in there too. I have to pick up my order.”
“Oh!” Bucky exclaimed. Then, to your absolute and utter shock, he offered you his arm. “Together then?”
“Well, alright,” you laughed, placing your arm through his. “Why not.”
It was an hour later that you strode back through the doors to your truck, arms full with bags of feed while Bucky and Peter trailed behind you with their own arms full of bags – having had offered to help you carry, and you couldn’t resist the sight of seeing Bucky’s arms bulge under the strain.
And Lord above, he did not disappoint.
“Alright, that’s it, miss,” Peter huffed, heaving a bag into the truck’s bed. “See you next week, yeah?”
“Absolutely, Pete, thanks,” you called, waving to the young man’s retreating back. You turned to Bucky, smiling. “Well, it was good to meet you, Bucky.”
Bucky grinned. “Likewise, sugar. You should come and have coffee sometime.” He turned to Colton. “I know that bastard would love it if you came and fed him some peaches or somethin’–greedy sonofabitch,” he laughed, shaking his head at the hilariously deadpan expression on his stallion’s face.
“I would love to.” The words tumbled from your mouth before you could stop them, and you inwardly sighed. So much for subtlety. “It would be great. How about tomorrow? We can have lunch.”
“Sounds perfect to me, Peach,” Bucky said happily, saluting. “You get home safe now, I’ll come pick you up tomorrow–where do you live?”
You recited your address and smiled nervously, watching as Bucky mounted Colton and turned him around. “I expect all the stops pulled out, mister,” you joked, pointing at him.
“Can’t disappoint ya, honey–promise,” Bucky joked, “see you tomorrow!”
Colton snorted and started a slow trot away, Bucky’s hand loosely holding the reins as the stallion moved away and turned a corner, out of sight.
“He’s a decent boy,” a voice said behind you, and you jumped. May was smirking at you from the office. “Always kind and sweet–should give it a go, honey, can’t hurt.”
“You’re right,” you conceded a soft smile on your lips. “Can’t hurt. He ain’t bad to look at, either.”
May laughed and waved goodbye, and you jumped back into your truck, already thinking of all the ways tomorrow could go – or how it would end.

--
living an easy life wasn't something you were entirely familiar with. for the last two years your life had been a chaotic whirlwind, being shuffled from one home to another.
the idea of an easy life becomes complicated when your existence has been laced with a constant stream of pain and the need to run from everything good. it's challenging to imagine such a life when your reality has always been like this.
even before you found yourself lost among the countless faceless children within the foster system, all you had known was a life filled with fear and adversity.
but now, you have your Olivia.
your Olivia who tells you she loves you, but who’re you to believe her? how could she possibly love a child that’s not hers?
this is the question that haunts your thoughts during your countless long, sleepless nights. the painful realization that you're just a charity case to the brunette detective, a lost delinquent she's taken under her wing to "fix" is something you can't shake. she’s never said it outright, but you can see it. it's there, hiding in the depths of her eyes.
you've been living with Olivia for almost half a year now. during this time, you and her had been growing closer, your defensive walls have started to crumble, allowing the other woman to step into your world and take you into her arms.
everything seemed to be going well, or at least that's what you thought. but one day, everything took a turn when Olivia brought home Noah.
Noah, an undeniably adorable little boy.
the moment he was brought into the apartment, you could sense a shift in the atmosphere. at first, you managed to adapt to the change. but then, you found yourself being pushed to the side, overlooked for Noah.
the moment you found yourself sidelined, your defensive walls shot back up, leaving Olivia and now Noah on the outside.
and once again, you were alone.
the love you can see in Olivia’s eyes when she looks at the little toddler is a kind of love you've never experienced for yourself. it's a stark reminder of the unfair differences between your experiences and his.
it didn't even take a month for Olivia to officially adopt Noah.
things took a turn for the worse rather quickly.
it began with you avoiding shared meals with the two brunettes. you started eating later or earlier, making sure to finish before Olivia got home. but recently, you found yourself skipping meals altogether.
Olivia had noticed you pulling away from her, but she chose not to do anything in fear of worsening the situation. despite your growing distance, she continued to reach out, hoping to assure you that you're welcome in her life. but your actions have been making it increasingly difficult for her.
in the midst of a typical day at work, Olivia sifts through the details of her most recent case, surrounded by the familiar hum of activity in the precinct. the sudden ring of her phone disrupts the rhythmic tapping of her fingers on the keyboard.
answering the phone in a questioning voice, she says, “hello?” the unknown number on the screen does nothing to prepare her for the conversation ahead.
a professional, yet strained voice responds from the other end, “hi, is this Olivia Benson?” the question hangs in the air, causing Olivia to furrow her eyebrows in confusion. she straightens up in her chair, her police instincts kick in.
the change in her demeanor catches the attention of Fin, who is now visibly alert. “yes, it is. who’s asking?” Olivia responds, her tone guarded yet curious.
the voice on the other side of the line calmly explains, “you’re listed as y/n l/n’s emergency contact. i’m calling to inform you that she is currently with us at Mercy General Hospital.” the words are delivered with an air of professional detachment.
the brunette springs up from her desk, grabbing her jacket hurriedly. her mind is a whirlwind of questions. “what? why? what happened?” in her panic, she barely notices Fin rising from his desk, his eyes locked with hers in shared concern.
briefly pulling the phone away from her mouth, she manages to choke out to Fin, “y/n’s in the hospital, i have to go.”
the severity of the situation is evident in her voice, “i’ll drive,” the older detective quickly offers, swiftly grabbing his keys and ushering Olivia out of the precinct, the hum of activity fades as they rush out to his car.
by the end of the call, Olivia is left with a sinking feeling of dread. despite the explanations given, she can't fully comprehend what is happening. her mind is filled with concern for her little girl.
before she knows it, Fin's car screeches to a halt in front of Mercy General Hospital and without a moment’s hesitation, Olivia jumps out, her heart pounding as she practically sprints through the entrance. once the brunette reaches the front desk she slaps her hands down on the counter, “y/n l/n, what room is she in?” she demands, her voice strained with urgency.
the desk attendant looks up, her gaze questioning as she scrolls through the records on her computer. “I’m sorry, who’re you?” she inquires, her head tilted slightly in confusion.
taking a moment to collect herself, Olivia responds, “oh, Olivia Benson. i’m her foster mother, her emergency contact." she leans over the desk, trying to catch a glimpse of the room number on the screen.
the woman hums in response, scrolling for a few more seconds before finally speaking, “y/n l/n is in room 281.” she looks up, meeting Olivia’s desperate gaze.
mumbling a quick ‘thank you’, Olivia speeds off towards the room, her heart pounding in her chest. when she finally reaches the room, she is met with the sight of you, lying in the hospital bed with an IV drip in your arm and a small, untouched cup of red jello on the bedside table.
“y/n.” Olivia manages to breathe out, making her way over to the bed. her voice is soft and filled with concern, “what happened? are you okay, baby?” she gently takes your hand in hers, her touch as soft as her voice.
you simply hum in response and pull your hand away from hers, settling it back in your lap. “yeah, ‘m fine.”
Olivia’s eyebrows furrow as she looks down at you, her maternal instincts kick in. “you are not fine. you’re in the hospital. now, are you going to tell me what happened or do i have to go ask a doctor because i can’t trust my own daughter?”
for the first time, your eyes snap to Olivia, finally meeting hers. “i’m not your daughter, Olivia,” you retort, rolling your eyes.
the sharpness of your words takes Olivia by surprise. her frown deepens and her eyes soften. “what’re you talking about, y/n/n? of course you’re my daughter.” her voice is gentle, filled with warmth as she squats down beside the bed to be at eye level with you. “what’s been going on, sweet girl? you haven’t been yourself.” she takes your hand again, her thumb soothingly rubbing the back of your hand.
you just mumble in response, avoiding Olivia's gaze and instead focusing on the wall, which has suddenly become very interesting. “nothin’..”
sighing, Olivia stares at you for a moment before standing back up. she leans down and presses a tender kiss to your hairline before heading towards the door. “i’ll be back. i’m going to go find your doctor since you won’t tell me anything.”
as she reaches the door, your voice stops her in her tracks. “wait, Olivia,” your voice is louder than you intended. you look up at Olivia, your eyes teary and pleading. “i’ll tell you, please, i’m sorry.”
the older woman turns around, her arms crossed as she waits for you to speak. “okay. i’m listening.”
"you know, i've just been... i don't know how to say it..." you mumble, searching for the right words, the right way to phrase what happened.
Olivia sits on the edge of the hospital bed, by your knees. her gaze, full of concern and empathy, watches you as you struggle to articulate your thoughts.
"i've been struggling with eating recently.." you admit in a whisper, your words barely audible in the sterile silence of the hospital room. heat rushes to your cheeks, a mixture of embarrassment and shame. "i passed out while i was with Luka. he brought me here after i woke up.. i'm sorry, Liv, i know how expensive it is and i know you’re mad-"
"oh, my sweet girl," Olivia interrupts, her voice filled with love. she surges forward, wrapping you in a comforting embrace. when she pulls away, her hands cup your cheeks, her words a soothing balm. "my sweet, sweet girl... no, i’m not mad. I'm just happy you're okay," she whispers, her eyes locked onto yours.
and in that moment, you see it — the same love you've always seen in her eyes when she looks at Noah. but now, it's directed at you.
a silence descends on the two of you, heavy but not uncomfortable. Olivia leans forward to hug you again, and you find yourself lost in your thoughts.
after a few minutes of quiet reflection, you break the silence. "hey, Liv?" you whisper, your voice barely audible.
"yes, y/n/n?" she replies after a moment, pulling away to look into your eyes.
"why... um, why did you adopt Noah and not me? are you going to send me back?" you ask, the words tumbling out in a rush, a slight rasp in your voice revealing your fear and uncertainty.
Olivia's eyes widen in surprise before they soften. "oh, honey... i'm not sending you back. you're my daughter, you understand? it's just... it's a little more complicated when your biological mother is still alive," she explains gently. "i've been trying so hard, you have to believe me. it's just that these things... they take time."
you stare at her, tears welling in your eyes. after a moment, you lean forward, hugging her gently and burying your face against her shoulder as you try to hold back the tears. "i'm sorry, Liv."
"you have nothing to apologize for, okay? we're going to get you the help you need. we're going to sort everything out, and we'll be a family," she promises, her voice soft and reassuring. she kisses your hair as she wraps her arms around you in a comforting embrace. "how does that sound?"
"good... sounds good," you whisper back, a sense of peace settling over you.

I'll be said if you...||Lloyd Hansen-Part 2

Character: Lloyd Hansen x CIA!Reader
Warning: Kidnapping, manipulation, dead Character.
Summary: You got caught by Lloyd.
Part 1, Part 2,-
Main Masterlist || Buy me Ko-fi please
Thank you to anyone who gave a like, reblog, and left a comment. It motivated me to write more.
Tumblr media
Your eyes flutter open to an unfamiliar room. The aftermath of the bomb explosion echoed in your mind. Your surroundings seemed hazy, and the muffled sounds of distant commotion reached your ears.
As you tried to piece together the fragments of your memory, confusion etched across your face, and her hand instinctively went to your temple, still feeling the residual effects of the fainting spell.
The room's unfamiliarity and lingering disorientation left you momentarily adrift in a sea of uncertainty.
Lloyd was sitting beside your bed. He looked at you with a smirk. “You have a good dream, sunshine?”
You were too weak to respond; then, you saw the most wanted man standing behind him. It’s him, the person who killed your foster father, former CIA agent Shane. You realize a belt is binding you when you try to move your hand. This bastard makes you his prisoner.
Lloyd noticed your fearful eyes. He glanced at Shane and looked back at you. “Let's do an introduction first, ooh, like foreplay since we’ll kill each other later.”
You closed your eyes and sighed. “Why wait? Just kill me now.”
Lloyd put his hand on his chest and acted like he was broken. “It will break my heart, sweetheart. At least let’s have dinner first.”
You rolled eyes your eyes and thought, ‘Dear God, please kill me now.’
Lloyd crossed his arms, “Do you want to know why former director Nathan cares so much about you?”
You hummed without looking at him. You have known Nathan since you were a kid; your father and Nathan have been best friends since they were young.
But the next word that came out from Lloyd's was unexpected: “Because your father, Nathan, and the rest are part of the team who created the Zombie Program. But here's a thing: Nathan and others made a switch kill. When the agents turn 40, they will die.”
Lloyd pointed at the man behind him. “Only Shane survived.” He looked at the deadliest agent, who had no expression. It’s understandable since he got injected with so many drugs.
Your eyes widened, your hand gripping the bed tightly. The shocking revelation hung in the air, and you struggled to process the words, unable to accept the truth that had just shattered your world.
“That’s impossible. My father is not a person who is capable of doing this.”
Lloyd nodded. “True. Your father only the typewriter in that program. But in Shane’s revenge book, he is still the bad guy.”
You remembered you and Noah are working together to find out why many retired CIA got killed.
The revelation still does not make you relieved. Knowing the truth that your father knew this program existed and didn’t do anything made you want to go to the afterlife and ask him why he didn’t stop this inhumane experiment.
Lloyd moves closer to grab your hand and rub it gently. It’s useless for you to move away since your body is trapped.
“I’m going to need your help to take my revenge… Excuse me, Shane, revenge by killing the other two creators. There were three. It was Nathan, well, R.I.P. for him.” Lloyd made a gun gesture to Shane. “That was a good shot.”
He looked at you again. “Then Senator Aaron Reynolds and Vice-President Jackson Mitchell.”
After Lloyd said those names, it triggered Shane to lose his composure.
“Na-ah, I don’t want you to get another seizure.” Lloyd takes a remote from his pocket and presses one button. It made Shane faint and fall to the ground.
You can’t believe it, Lloyd is still heartless towards his new friend “You…”
Lloyd raised his arms. “It will take a while to explain. Right now, I just need you to be healthy to meet the Senator next week.” “I don’t even know him!!!” You just found out that your father knew two crucial figures of this country. He never mentioned it to you. And what Lloyd just said is that he and Shane will kill Senator Robin. “Sssh…” Lloyd gently put his finger on your lips. "It’s okay I’ll arrange everything. And you will get your revenge too.”
You're left puzzled, not fully grasping the details of his plan or how it involves you. “Me? I don’t have any problem with them.” “Huh?” Then, all of a sudden, Lloyd let out a loud laugh. It’s been a while since he could laugh like this. In comparison, you don’t understand what is so funny for him.
“Oh dear, you don’t know your mother car accident was caused by them?”

Noah Foster x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1216 words
Warnings: none
Summary: The reader is part of the ‘popular crowd’ but has a bit of an unconventional crush
I just love writing awkward Noah, I apologize.
——————————————————————————————————
Frankly, Noah had no business at one of Brooke's parties.
It wasn't a scene that he needed to be at, and not the sort of thing that was within his comfort zone but that was exactly what drew you to him in the first place. He wasn't the kind of meathead jock that usually showed up to those things and you were interested in him.
You had never really talked to him, aside from a few group projects in English class and you wanted to know what his deal was.
So, you did the only sane thing you could think of at a high school party, after the death of a close friend. You plopped down beside him on the couch, careful not to spill your beer, and smiled.
It wasn't a foolproof method, of course, but it wasn't awful. If nothing else, it made you more available to him than you would have been standing across the room in close conversation with Brooke and Riley.
"Hey, you're Noah right? I'm Y/N, we have English together" you started, watching just how caught of guard he was at your talking to him. You were marginally hot, far too hot to ever be talking to him, and that was enough to sketch him out.
Still, when you smiled again, clearly waiting for him to say something, Noah knew that silence was only going to make him look like more of a crazy person.
"Cool, that's really cool" he tried, hoping that you wouldn't immediately get up and leave. He sometimes had that affect on women, especially those who he was attracted to. Noah just had awkward energy, and it was too much for a lot of people to handle.
Not you though.
You only giggled at his obvious nerves, hoping for the best. You were nervous too, of course, but you were just better at hiding it. You never really had a crush on a guy, it was usually the other way around, but not in this case.
It was lame, and your friends would never let you live it down but you were a bit of a secret geek. You loved video games, and horror movies, and all that kinds of stuff that Nina would never let you hear the end of if she was still alive.
She always made a joke of it all, tormenting anyone who didn't fit into her perfect existence but there had always been an exception for you. You had been friends all your lives; you, Nina, Brooke, and Emma, adding Riley into the mix a little later.
That was just the way it had always been, and that was never going to change but you couldn't be blamed for having interests outside of mani-pedis and ceaseless drama. It was part of who you were, but not all of it.
"Hey, I had a question about what you said in class the other day? About slasher movies" you hummed, gingerly trying to broach the subject without seeming super weird. You had always been really into those sorts of things, but didn't have many people to talk to about it before.
It could be really interesting to talk to someone about it that wouldn't think you were completely out of your mind.
"Who do you think is the most prolific serial slashers? Personally I think that there a tie between Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees but the body count doesn't really reflect that. Any thoughts?" you asked, taking a sip from your bottle neck, never once looking away from him.
Understandably, he was in shock.
He had never known pretty popular girls to have thoughts like that but you clearly did. He knew that for sure because you weren't wrong. There was a correlation between the murders and the the bodycount in those movies but nothing accounted for the lethal nature of some of the killers over the others.
In his opinion, Michael Myers was pretty high up on the list, due to his whole, being a faceless sociopath but the math didn't support that if that was what you were going for. That didn't even take into account the kill frequency and number of movies.
All interesting things to think about, for sure.
"Those are definitely good ones as far as stats go" he allowed, clearly just a little tipsy after however many he'd had at this point, not that you felt the need to say anything about it quite yet. You figured he knew what he was doing, and wouldn't overdue it.
Still, you felt like this conversation was coming to a natural end and you were worried that this would be all you two would ever have to talk about. After all, there wasn't a ton you had in common in the first place.
You just didn't want to go back to talking about Brooke's daddy issues quite yet.
"Hey, you wanna maybe get a coffee tomorrow? We could talk about it a little more" you suggested, gingerly playing with your fingers like you always did when you were nervous. As best you could tell, he could just say no and that would be it, but you hoped not.
You didn't want this to be all there was between you.
Noah faltered at that.
He wasn't really used to being asked out, or talked to at all by pretty girls who had no business caring about him at all. Not to mention that fact that he very rarely, if ever, was asked out at all. You were way out of his league, but maybe that didn't matter.
After all, no one said that two people had to be on the same level of attractiveness or skill to care about one another. It didn't matter if you didn't have very much in common, or if you ran in completely different social circles, there was a spark between you.
"Or not, I mean, if you don't want to" you shrugged, naturally taking his silence as refusal. You knew well enough to know that if he wanted to, he would have said yes by now.
Though, as soon as those words left your lips, Noah shook his head. Even in the little bit of a buzz he was currently harboring, he knew that this wasn't the sort of thing that he was going to pass up.
"No, no, that sounds great, but uh, are you sure you wanna do that? With me?" he clarified, shocked that you would do something like that. If only he knew that  you had to down quite a bit of Brooke's cheap kegger to even work up the nerve to ask.
He thought that you were out of his league, but never even gave your clear feelings for him a second thought. There had to be a reason you asked, after all. You wouldn't have just done that with anyone.
"Of course. I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want to, silly" you teased, earning a sort of awkward laugh from Noah, who was relieved at your response, though feeling just as awkward as before. He just had no game, no matter how hard he tried to be cool.
It just wasn't in the cards for him.
...But if that didn't bother you, he wasn't going to argue.

A/N: soooooo, here it is! I’m sorry that it took me so long. I wanted to publish this yesterday but a storm (you could say it was a tiny tornado) cancelled my plans. We had no water, no electricity, no internet and no signal at all. Trees were torn out and blocked every possible way to our small little village and the other ones around. But yeah... less talking more action! Here is part two of ‘Bad Timing’. Hope you like it :) And yes there is a keep reading! I can’t help you if tumblr is f!cking it up again...
Part 1 - Masterlist

Read part one here before you continue reading!
„Yeah, sorry. I’m on my way, I’ll be there in a few minutes, I just have to finish this. I can’t leave until I got the calculation for Mr. Whitaker,” you mumbled, holding the receiver between your shoulder and ear.
“Come on, Y/N. You can probably finish it on Monday, he won’t even notice,” your best friend whined. “Plus, I’ve been waiting for you for twenty minutes now. People are probably thinking that someone stood me up.”
“I’m sorry, Liz, but this had to be done yesterday. You should’ve seen Mr. Whitaker’s face today when it wasn’t done. He was furious. I can’t postpone this any longer,” you sighed as you typed some more numbers in the system. “Maybe you can find some attractive guy and enjoy the night with him.”
“Hm,” Liz summed while she looked around the bar. “There are some cute guys around here, indeed. But I’ll be waiting for you here. Hurry up, lil bean.”
Liz hung up and left you alone to your work. It was late in the evening, everyone except the security guy at the entrance had already left for the weekend, it was just you up in the office.
It took you another thirty minutes until you had all the calculations right for Mr. Whitaker. With your head on the table and your hands balled to fists next to it you let out a big sigh and mumbled to yourself, “I need a tequila.”
One last glance at the watch on your wrist convinced you to join Liz at the bar. So you shut down your computer and grabbed your coat, putting it on while you walked to the elevators. Once the doors of the elevator shut, you saw what a mess you were. Your hair was sticking to different directions and your lipstick was worn off except for the lip liner.
You sighed again and rummaged through your purse until you found your lipstick and applied it on. On the remaining way down you combed through your ponytail with your fingers and smoothed your slags. The bell ringed and the doors of the elevators opened before you rushed out.
“Have a good night Ms. Y/L/N,” said the security guard Mr. Johnson as you left the building. You smiled at him and said your goodbye as you walked out.
The fresh night air hit your face while you walked down the side walk to get to the car park as soon as possible. It was a horror day for you, so all you wanted to do was drown a few shots, have a good night and then sleep until it would be too late to eat breakfast anymore.
Speeding down the streets of LA, you realized that you missed those kinds of nights back in Phoenix, where you lived the past few years. But it wasn’t the future that you were imaginating. Phoenix wasn’t your city, it was LA, where you grew up and left all your friends and family behind. But you needed a fresh start, so you moved to another state as soon as you finished studying. You always promised your best friend to move in with her in LA once you finished university but you couldn’t go back. It all reminded you of him, Noah. You had your several dates, some men even got another date, some even a third one, but nothing serious happened.
Once you made it to the bar, you parked your car on the side of the street just around the corner and checked yourself in the mirror of your rear view. You applied some lipstick and loosened the tight ponytail and let your hair fall down your shoulders.
You walked through the doors of your favorite bar and looked around, searching for your dark haired friend. It didn’t take you long to find her. She was sitting at the back of the bar with two men by her side. You rolled your eyes at her and walked through the mass of people, pushing your way to the back.
“There you are!” she exclaimed as you made it to their table. “Thought you’d dump me.”
“Nah, I really need a drink right now,” you replied and sat down next to her.
“Guys, this is Y/N. She’s my bestie. Y/N, this is Kali and his friend Fyre. Remember, I told you about Kali once or twice.”
“Yeah right, you’re the guitar guy, am I right?” you asked the blonde guy sitting right in front of you.
Kali nodded, about to tell you something when one of the waitresses made her way over to your table. “Anything else for you guys?”
“Just give us another round please,” Kali replied and raised his empty bottle of beer. “Or do you want something else?”
“Nah, that’s fine with me,” you answered and smiled at the waitress before she walked away.
“So, I heard you just had a big gig the other night,” you started a conversation with the boys. “Are you also playing in his band?”
“Unfortunately, I can’t play any instruments,” Fyre laughed. “But Kali over here is a guitar god! You should see him perform one day.”
“Yeah, Y/N! Why don’t we join them on his next gig?” Liz asked you full of euphoria, leaning against Kali’s side. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders looked at you with hoping eyes. “It would be fun.”
“Okay, yeah, why not?” you laughed and grabbed your bottle of beer that the waitress just put in front of you. Fyre raised his bottle and clinked his bottle with yours.
Nearly two hours had passed and you were down to your fifth beer. Nothing you couldn’t handle. Fyre and Kali were cool guys, the type of guys your friend Liz was looking for, but not you. Fyre tried to come closer to you once or twice while Liz and Kali were deep in their own conversations.
It was late and you were trying to find and excuse to leave, but Liz wouldn’t let you go. “Anyone in for another round of shots?” you asked, hoping that the more alcohol you put in Liz’s system, the more tired she would get.
Liz cheered and raised her hands up in the air, “You know exactly how to make me happy, Y/N!”
You laughed and grabbed your purse, heading for the bar. You could’ve waited for another waitress but you wanted to be alone for just a second.
“Can I get four shots of your strongest liquor, please?” you asked the bartender. He nodded and placed for empty glasses in front of you, filling it with some brown liquor.
“Wow, Y/N. Must’ve been a really tough day, huh?”
You turned your head to your left, your eyes widened as you saw the dark mop of hair, followed by those brown teddy bear eyes that you loved so much, a smirk on his lips, surrounded by 5-o-clock-shadow.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, the words barely louder than a whisper.
“Well, I could ask you the same, Y/N. It was you who moved away, after all.”
“I’m sorry, Noah, but I have to get back to my friends,” you said and grabbed the four glasses, ready to walk away when his hand grabbed your wrist and stopped you from leaving.
“I know you, Y/N. And I could see it in your face that you were trying to find a way out. Why don’t you just stay here with me? We could talk, tell each other what we missed those few years. And… your friend over there doesn’t seem to notice that you are gone,” he whispered in your ear, looking over your shoulder to see Liz enjoying herself way too much.
You sighed and looked back at Noah. He was giving you a delicate smile, raising his brows to ask for your answer. “So?”
“Alright,” you gave in and put the shots back on the counter. “But then we have to drink those.”
“With pleasure,” he answered and sat down next to you on one of those bar stools. He grabbed two shots and placed them in front of him. He took the first shot and raised it, waiting for you to grab yours. You raised your eyebrows and raised the first glass, clinked it with his before you drowned it. Noah did the same, squishing his eyes together. “What the hell is that?”
“It’s called Berry Whipped,” you answered and took the second shot. “It’s basically just whipped cream vodka with strawberry vodka and a splash of grenadine.”
“Ugh, I thought you were never into vodka?”
“Well, a lot of things can change in five years,” you sassed, waiting for him to take the second shot.
Noah laughed and shook his head.
“What?”
“Five years,” he mumbled and reached for his glass. “You don’t remember?” he asked as he saw your reaction, or better lack of reaction. “Wow.”
Before you could register what was going on, he had already drowned the second one and put the glass upside down on the bar in such a severe way. “Give me another one!” he shouted at the bartender. The bartender refilled his glass, which Noah drowned in a second.
“You know, if you wanted to ignore me, I could’ve just gone back to my friends,” you retorted and hopped of the stool.
“Okay, wait,” Noah said and grabbed your wrist again. “Why don’t we start from the beginning?”
“It’s quite hard to start from the beginning with all that happened in our lives, our past relationship,” you told him, pronouncing that everything that ever happened between you was now in your past.
Noah ignored your statement and let go of you before he held his hand in front of you saying, “Hi, my name’s is Noah and your lovely name is…?” he asked you charming.
You rolled your eyes and grabbed his hand, shaking it. “Y/N.”
“Nice to meet you, Y/N.”
“Come on, Noah. Are we really doing this right now?” you sighed and rolled your eyes at him.
“Yes. I mean, it was you who said that we should’ve met five years later!”
“And it was you who said to make ten years out of it!” you shoot back at him.
“So you do remember!”
“Yes, of course, I remember! How could I not? These were the last words I said to you before we broke off.”
“We broke off? I think you’re getting this wrong. You walked out that door without letting me explain it. You threw the towel! You ended our relationship, not me!” Noah justified, his voice was slowly raising.
“Yeah, because you weren’t fighting for our relationship anymore!”
“And who says that? I just fulfilled my dreams of becoming an actor and you weren’t supporting me like I hoped you would do,” he revealed. “I was busy and yeah, I wasn’t the guy you once dated back then but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t love you anymore. Why couldn’t we just talk about it?”
“Because you were always gone! Either you were filming, on press tours or spending time with your friends instead of me. I always tried to visit you in LA when I had the time to. I know that long distance relationships are difficult and hard to master, but I was willing to and I couldn’t get the feeling out of my head that you weren’t,” you confessed. Your voice was slowly getting quieter with every word you spoke and Noah realized that this wasn’t the right place to have this kind of conversation.
“Okay, before this is getting out of hand, and I don’t mean it in the wrong way, why don’t we head out of here? Talk about it at a quiet place? A bar might not be right place and a coffee shop as well!” he said before you would suggest a coffee shop like you always would.
“What do you say? My place or yours?”
“Depends on where you live right now… but honestly, I’d prefer my place, so I can kick you out when I want to,” you replied.
“Right,” Noah sighed and put some money on the counter. “Do we have to take a cap?”
“You can drive my car. I had to many beers and no I don’t want to say goodbye to Liz. She’s only going to stop me.”
“So she knows all about me?” Noah asked, raising his brows.
“Everything that she needs to know, yes.”
“Great.”
-
“So this is where you live now? Hermosa Beach?” Noah asked once you made it to your place. He parked your car at the garage that you shared with others living in your complex.
“Yeah. I’ve been looking for a place for quite a time and this was the first apartment that wasn’t too expensive and too far away from work.”
“Where did you live meanwhile? I mean after you graduated? Or did you move right back here?” he questioned.
“Is this twenty questions?”
“Come on, Y/N. We haven’t seen each other for years. I want to know what I missed,” he replied as you opened the door to your apartment.
“You want to know what you missed? Well it wasn’t much! And no I haven’t been in a serious relationship once we… or should I say I broke things off? But in case you are being serious right now… I moved to Phoenix once I graduated but it wasn’t the place where I wanted to settle and grow old, so I moved back here like eight months ago. What about you?” you asked, getting rid of your shoes before you sat on your big L-shaped couch with your legs crossed.
Noah sat down next to you and mimicked your actions. So there you sat, both criss-crossed on your couch, staring at each other.
“Do you want to drink anything? I think I’ve got half a bottle of red wine left,” you asked the big boy who was now grown into a man.
You had to be honest, he was still looking fine. Hell even better than before. Age just hit him in the right places. He got buffer, his arms and legs weren’t as tenuous as before. He gained some weight but not too much. He grew his facial hair out but it wasn’t too long. But the most important thing: he still made you nervous… in a good way.
“Sure,” he said, ripping you out of your thoughts.
You nodded and got back up, making your way to the kitchen to get two glasses of wine. On the way there, you didn’t miss Noah’s glances. He wouldn’t let you out of his sight like this would be the last time he’d get to see you.
“Thanks,” Noah smiled when you gave him a glass of red wine. As you sat back down, you raised your glass before you took a sip. “So, you didn’t answer my question.”
“Right,” Noah remembered and set the glass on your coffee table. “Well, I still live here in LA, but I moved to another neighborhood. People were finding out where I lived and sooner or later a lot of fans were waiting in front of the complex, some even made their way in. That’s when I decided to move and get a house instead of an apartment. It’s not the biggest house, like Eminem has,” he joked, “But it’s decent. There’s enough space for me and my family in case they’re staying over.”
“Sounds nice… well, you know, getting a house, not the fans following you around… you know what I mean,” you rolled your eyes at yourself.
Noah laughed and nodded. “It is.”
And that’s when the both of you fell into an awkward silence. You knew what was about to happen. You were finally talking about your relationship and the way things ended. You knew that the conversation before was just small talk, trying to forgo the serious subject.
“Sooo…,” Noah started while he played with the blanket that was folded neatly beside him. “Why did you ignore my texts? I wrote you tons of messages, Y/N.”
You sighed. “I read every single one of them, but I couldn’t answer. I just couldn’t. I knew that I’d just come back to you, but I didn’t want to have my heart broken a second time.”
“Heart broken? Are you serious? You walked out, you left me standing there without any explanation.”
“Yes, you broke my heart! I remember your words clearly. You said that our relationship changed in a bad way. There was nothing left to fight for. It was done, Noah,” you said cold. You promised yourself not to go through that pain again. “It was good while it lasted, but once it was just one sided, not so much.”
“It wasn’t one sided, Y/N,” Noah mumbled.
“Oh come on, Noah. Let’s be real for just a moment. You enjoyed your new life so much, that you forgot about me!”
“I’d never forget about you!” he defended himself, his voice slowly rising.
“Okay, let me put it in another way. I wasn’t your priority like I used to be. Hell, it felt like you put me last. And I didn’t want to be treated that way.”
Noah sighed, his head dropped so he was looking at his lap where he still played with his fingers. “Why didn’t you say anything?” he asked with his head hung low and a hint of regret in his voice.
You tried to tell him lots of times. You even had a fully planned conversation in your mind, but every time you wanted to say something, you couldn’t find the right words, like your vocal cords were made of stone. “I tried.”
You didn’t know how or why, but a single tear rolled down your cheek. “I tried so many times, but I just couldn’t find the right words to tell you that I didn’t feel loved anymore.”
“If you had just told me, Y/N! I would’ve told you how much I love you!”
“Yeah, but those three words would’ve been forced then and that’s not the same,” you mumbled as Noah slowly raised his head. His brown orbs stared into yours and immediately softened when he saw the tears filling your eyes.
“Y/N,” he said, his features clouded with sadness. His hands reached forward, carefully grabbing your face before he wiped away the tears with his thumb. “Please don’t cry.”
You forced a smile just as another tear rolled down your face. Noah was about to say something until he snapped his mouth shut and stood up, walking away. He returned with a box of tissues that he found on your kitchen counter and gave them to you.
“Okay, I might have to try this another way. There’s only one reason why I asked you to sit with me at the bar and do you want to know why?” Noah asked as he sat back down next to you.
You grabbed a tissue and carefully wiped the tears away, trying not to smudge any more of your mascara. “Why?” you asked, your voice barely louder than a whisper.
“Because every time I saw a new photo of you that you posted online on Instagram, I still got this feeling. And today, when I saw you for the first time after we broke up, I knew that I was still smitten for you,” he confessed, studying your face.
To say that his statement left you unimpaired would be a total lie. Your jaw dropped, only just a little bit before your mouth set in a hard line, your eyes closing. “No. No, you can’t say that. Not right now.”
“Why not?” he asked with his brows knitting.
“Because you just can’t, Noah! All those years, all the time, I tried to get over you! I told myself so many times that no matter what, I’d stay away from you. But-“
“But what?”
“But now… hearing you say those words... it’s like I’m falling for you again.”
Noah didn’t need another word, he knew that he had to go all in, he had to risk everything! He grabbed your face and pressed his lips against yours.
Your eyes were wide open with surprise, your hands were on his shoulders in a second, ready to push him away, but your heart was quicker than your mind and so you pulled him close. You were kissing him back, carefully. His lips were chapped and dry but it didn’t matter. Noah furrowed his brows, giving everything into the kiss that he could, even though it was just a simple kiss.
You pulled away, being unable to open your eyes for a few moments afterward. Noah had his hands still on your face, trying to figure out if that just really happened. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, his breath hot on your face.
You finally opened your eyes and saw how close he was. “It’s okay,” you replied and slowly backed away. “It kind of missed this.”
“Really?!” he asked while his eyes lit up.
You just nodded your head, watching every body movement of his. His hands were shaking, just a little bit, but it was enough to show you that he was nervous as hell. He was scared to be left standing alone once again. He couldn’t go through it one more time.
“And… I want to do it again,” you said in hushed tones.
He shut his eyes and a corner of his mouth lifted, before he mumbled something to himself, which you didn’t quite catch. As he reopened his eyes, desire glowed in them.
It was you this time who initiated the kiss. Grabbing his shirt by the collar, you pulled him against you. Your bodies were so close, you could feel his heart pounding. One last smile of yours and Noah was smitten for you before you pressed your lips against his.
Noah didn’t waste time, his one hand found your face, while the other was wrapped around your waist, holding onto your back. His tongue traced over your lips, a small whimper leaving them. Your entire body froze for a moment, the feeling of kissing your loved one took over your whole body.
Noah stopped and pulled you away, whispering something against your lips, “Are you sure you…”
“Yes, I am,” you replied and changed your position. You swung your left leg over his lap and straddled him. His hands left your lower back and found its new place on your thighs.
“I have to ask you something before we rush things here,” he said in a hushed tone, his eyes scanning over your face.
“What it is?”
“I just can’t shake the feeling away that once the sun rises, you’ll ignore me again and this time it will be me who gets his heart broken,” he confessed while his grip on your thighs got tighter.
You sighed and dropped your hands that were on his shoulders. You stared into his eyes that were filled with insecurity. “Okay, why don’t we grab something for breakfast tomorrow? And no matter what happens, we’ll talk about it, alright? I’m sorry that I walked away the last time. I just… I had no energy left to fight for the relationship any longer. I was tired of it and I saw no other option than to walk away from you. I guess, I never realized that I hurt you as well. I’m sorry that I was so naïve, I just thought that you had better things to do.”
“Y/N, I gotta be honest with you. Yes, you hurt me, but I realized it once it was too late. It took me weeks after you left to realize that something was missing, that you were missing in my life. Of course, we were falling apart and yes, I was getting used to see you only a few times a year. But that doesn’t mean that it hurt me less. You can ask my mom or Tay. I was a wreck and seeing that you left my texts on read hurt even more. I knew that you had moved on, it was the only explanation why you didn’t answer me. It was weeks, even months after we broke things off. And when you unblocked me on social media, I saw your happy face. You were happy in New York and I followed your path until you graduated two years later and that’s when I knew that I had to move on as well. But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t love you anymore. I had loved you all the time, through all the years and …I still do.”
“Noah,” you whispered and grabbed his hands while you were still straddling his lap. “Maybe, if we had just talked about it, everything would’ve been okay. We both fucked up, that’s for sure, but what if this is our second chance?”
“Then I won’t fuck it up again,” he tattled and pulled you against his upper body with his hands in yours.
It was the prettiest smile Noah saw on your face, he could’ve stared at it the whole night. The goosebumps on his arms wouldn’t fade away. Your smile was contagious. His eyes drank you up the same way they always did, looking over your face with the aid of the moonlight from outside, glittering across your skin.
Noah’s warm lips kissed against your collarbones, against the crook of your neck and everywhere he could reach while his fingers touched over the arch of your back, tracing against your spine to bring your body as deep into his as he could. The warmth of your body against his had him purring deep into the curve of your jaw, but perhaps it was also the way your fingers raked through his curls.
“Kiss me or don’t, you know I always hated it you teased,” you snarled.
He granted the kiss you deserved, swallowing the heavy sigh you fed him. He slipped his tongue past your lips, wanting to taste you. Your nails dig further into his neck, surely leaving behind a mark or two along. Tugging at his hair as you fell apart, his mouth hovered over your face, watching your features contort with pleasure. He adored you extremely at that moment. His plump lips ghosted over yours once again, swallowing your moans and he groaned at the vibration.
Amusement tugged at his lips as his fingers played with the line of your pants, finding it endearing how casual this was for you two. If you couldn’t judge his eagerness by the way his fingers touched over the curve of your body, you could definitely tell by the pressure underneath you, the straining in his pants that pressed against you.
He leaned back against the rest, deep in your cool couch and looked up at you while your fingers fiddled with the buckle of his black leather belt. You were taking your sweet time, though, so when you finally did get it undone, Noah had grown impatient. He pushed you off his lap and pulled you with him while he mumbled one simple word, “Bedroom.”
You hurried down the hall, desperate to reach your bedroom. Noah was so hungry for you that he pulled at your intertwined hands and pulled you against his body. You gasped as you stumbled along, your feet moving backwards without you thinking about it because you were too busy touching to pay attention to where you stepped.
His soft lips grazed against yours. His feather light touch ignited the same hunger inside you that he was already desiring.
You felt Noah’s hand entangle in your hair, his fingers soothingly rubbing against your scalp as he deepened the kiss. A soft whimper echoes around the room as his tongue traced along your bottom lip. You immediately granted him access, letting out a moan of desire as our tongues dances together.
His skin grazed against your waist as his hands hungrily roamed. Noah was intent on fully worshiping your body. At that moment, the closeness between your two forms was the only thing that mattered to him. He craved your contact after all those years as if he was starving without you by his side; only your touch could reaffirm his existence.
His grip tightened around your waist as he pulled you up to his protective hold. It was as if he feared you’d fade away before his eyes, run away like the last time.
You pulled away for a moment, opening the door to your bedroom while you peeled away his shirt as you ran your hand over his sculpted chest, your touch lingering against him. His hands gripped the bottom of your shirt as he slowly pulled it off, exposing your beauty.
His eyes stayed on your breasts, covered with a thin laced bralette before his gaze fixated on yours as he gently pushed you on your bed.
You blushed under the intensity of his gaze. Noah’s brown eyes could always make you feel completely loved.
He bent down on front of you to capture your lips in a passionate kiss. At that moment only the two of you mattered.
You shivered as his hands traveled down your arms, softly pushing you back until you were laying on your back. Noah hovered over you, taking his weigh of you with his hands on either side of your face.
You let out a soft moan as his mouth attached to your neck, enthusiastically sucking and nipping at your skin. You wrapped your arms around his neck, trying to pull him even closer to you. Noah groaned against your skin, pressing a final kiss on your collarbone before his lips trailed down your body.
Noah’s hands sneaked behind your back, unclipping your bra while his lips traveled further down your stomach, his warm breath heating your skin.
As he got rid of your bra, his lips found their way to your left nipple, sucking and licking on it while he paid the same attention to the right one with his hand.
“You’re still so beautiful,” he mumbled against your nipple before he took the right one in between his lips. His teeth grazed it carefully, earning a moan from your lips. Your hands tangled in his dark locks, pulling at it whenever you felt another sensation running through your spine.
Noah released your nipple with an audible pop and peers up at you with a lustful gaze. Tearing of his pants, you shot up and fumbled his with boxers in excitement and pulled out his hardened cock already dripping with precum. You pump his length and try to get down on your knees to blow him but he stopped you with a firm grip on your wrist. “It’s not about me tonight. I’m here to make you feel better,” he insisted.
You bit on your lower lip, leaning back on your elbows as his eyes darkened while he unbuttoned your jeans. He glanced down and chewed uncertainly at his bottom lip. With your eager nod, Noah ripped your panties down and dropped to his knees immediately, tugging your jeans and panties fully down as he did. He barely gave you time to breath before he’s urging your legs apart, his strong hands on your thighs and you throw your head back at the first touch of Noah’s mouth on your inner thigh. He kisses up the one thigh and down the other, avoiding the one place where you desperately needed him, the teasing and closeness making you aware of how wet you already were.
“Noah,” you moaned as you got back up on your elbows, watching his lustful eyes as they stared up at you. “Teasing! You’re teasing again!”
Before you could say something else, Noah pushed you back and licked your folds, flattening his tongue and repeating the action as you finally cry out, covering your mouth with your palm in attempt to hold back your noises. Noah didn’t waste any time and ran his tongue over your core again and again as you shake above him, gripping his hair a little too tight but he didn’t seem to mind. When his tongue dipped into your entrance you whine loudly, your hips jerking against his face, pushing his tongue as deep as he can within you before retreating to lick at your clit with just enough pressure to drive you mad.
“Oh fuck, Noah! Your mouth!” you cry out loud as your hands gripped the white sheets underneath you.
At the first press of Noah’s fingers against your core you arched your back, your hips pressing against his fingers. His lips left your nub, traveling up your body until they were back on yours. You could taste yourself on his lips, but the sensation was too much that you could care about it.
“’m so close,” you moaned as his pace quickened, his fingers pushing in and out of you in a rush until they stopped.
“No!” you whined. “Why’d you stop?”
“I want you to come around me, dove,” Noah says, eyes flashing dangerously when he stared at you. Your hands tensed in his hair again while you wrapped your legs around his waist, your wet center pressing against his bulge in his boxers. Noah cursed against your lips as they were still ghosting over your plump and swollen ones, while he struggled to get his boxers off.
You pulled yourself further up your bed until your head was resting on your pillow, giving Noah his time to pull his strong legs out of his boxers. “Do we need a condom?”
You shook your head, “I’m good to go, I’m on my pill.”
Noah smirked as he climbed up the bed to tower over you and held his erection loosely in his hand. His other hand was tight on your hip as his lips brushed your ear. “Are you ready?”
“For you always.”
Your hands were shaking as Noah pushed into you slowly, kissing along your neck as he bottomed out and you moaned loudly at the feeling. Noah didn’t move at first, waiting for you to get adjusted to the feeling of being this close. He gathered your hair and let it fall over one shoulder while he continued to trail his lips along your neck.
“Please,” you begged. “Move.”
Noah’s pace was slow but powerful. His thrusts took away your breath and made your head spin until you managed to hiss harder. Noah accepted your plea and quickened his pace, thrusting harder into you. Pulling almost completely out, Noah thrust back into you hard. He quickly set a brutal pace, the sounds coming from where your bodies met was loud and pornographic.
“Good?” he asked, changing his position from his elbows up so he was holding his weigh on his hands. You gripped at the sheets as Noah pounded into you. Every bump adding uncountable amount of pleasure.
“So, ah, good,” you moaned and threw your head backwards at the feeling of his whole cock deep in your cunt.  Noah took advantage of it to scrape his teeth against your collarbones once more. You desperately tried to keep your voice low.
You pulled your knees up, wrapping your calves around his thighs. “Fuck,” Noah groaned at the new angle you were giving him access to. “You feel so good around me, fuck!”
He pulled you closer, changing the position because it was too much for him and he knew that he wouldn’t last long if he would fuck you like this any longer. Noah was now sitting on his knees, your thighs straddling his and you sat in his lap, cock tip against your wet folds. You bit your lips, rears spilling from your eyes in pure despair.
Noah felt you pulsate around him as you rode his cock. He couldn’t see your eyes because they had rolled back into your head. You felt like you could explode from all the pleasure.
You held onto his shoulder as he was helping you ride his dick with his hands on your bum, always hitting your g-spot.
“Oh fuck, I’m close,” you nearly sob, picking up the perfect pace to make you cum in a few seconds. Already on edge from earlier, sparks were setting in your fingertips. Your body shook as you felt the precipice on the horizon, begging you to fall.
Noah picked up the pace, his one hand bending in between your bodies until he found your clit, rubbing hard against it.
“Shit, Noah!” you cried out as your head fell on his shoulder, biting softly into it as you felt your orgasm coming closer. You opened your mouth to scream, but nothing came out. Like the sting in the balls of your feet after a messy jump, your orgasm ripped through your body.
Noah moaned loud for you as your walls were milking him. He fucked you through your orgasm, pushing you higher and higher with every thrust of his hips.
You pushed his hand away as the feeling was too much for you, your legs were shaking uncontrollably.
Carefully pushing you back down on your back, Noah needed a few more thrusts and clamps of your walls until his face was buried in your neck, a soft and quiet moan leaving his lips. His thrusts got sloppier and messier as he was reaching his high. His white and hot seed filling you to the rim.
As he allowed the last few waves of his orgasm to ride out, you brought your hands up to trace along his jaw. Your eyes were locked as you spread your legs, coming down from your high. Noah stared at you, trying to read your face while he was still deep in you, cum dripping down your thighs.
He was so glad that this happened now that you were in his grasp, you would never escape. Noah caressed your body until he pulled out and crawled to the edge of your bed. Pushing himself up, he walked to your dresser and turned his head, looking at you with a questioning face, “Towel?”
“Lower shelf,” you breathed out, still trying to catch your breath.
You watched him as he grabbed a towel and cleaned you up afterwards. Throwing the towel to the rest of your clothes, he pulled at your sheets and motioned for you to lie underneath. Noah laid down next to you and pulled you closer against him. You laid your head down on his chest and listened to his heartbeat for a while. It took him a few minutes until his heartbeat was steady, the round of sex left him in a complete mess.
“I really missed you,” Noah broke the silence.
You huffed, turning in his hold on you so you were on your side looking at him. “Noah, I’m sorry, I…”
“Please don’t say that you regret it.”
“No, I don’t. I’m sorry that I walked away. I shouldn’t have done it and now I realized that I was so stupid and… why don’t you leave a toothbrush here at my place?”
Noah chuckled, he really thought that you were going to throw him out, maybe even yell at him again, but he couldn’t go through that once more.
“I’d love to.”

Tequila Tuesday (Noah Foster x Reader)
This is my first Fanfic ever !
(y/n)- your name   (e/c)- eye color     Italics- Dialogue
Somehow you had survived this long. You could’ve never done it without them.
Noah and Audrey, your best friends. Not brave enough to completely join the school’s most popular pretty kids, you found Noah and Audrey to be quite similar to you giving you a feeling of belonging with the makeshift family of the Lakewood seven. You had an interest in all things pop culture which led to scary movie marathons at Noah’s and all night film-athons, where Audrey rolled the camera and all your shenanigans were immortalized onto her SD card’s memory. You helped Noah with his podcasts and the darker stuff wasn’t ignored either. You had been there for Audrey when Rachel passed, and did whatever you could for Noah after Riley. One by one your friends were slaughtered by Piper and she had finally gotten hers. Everything had calmed down. Which was both a positive and a negative. With life back to normal you had to face reality.
The reality being that you were in love with Noah.
Audrey knew of course. As every meetup with you guys grew more awkward because of you, she noticed the blushing and awkward body language. She didn’t want to embarrass you on a hunch so she observed further. She noticed the longing gazes in class and the change in the gleam of your eye when he told his dorky jokes. She hesitated at her locker after you both bid Noah a goodbye as he hurried to class. “Really (y/n) falling for Murder nerd here. We both know you could do better.” Your (e/c) eyes grew wide as a light blush spread throughout your cheeks. “ I-I mean what haha” you laughed nervously. “I don’t even know - ha I mean you have the-” “wrong idea?” Audrey finished your sputtering for you. “oh no” You covered your face with your hands. “Am I that obvious?” You peeked out of your hands with one eye to gauge your bestie’s response. “no,” she shrugged “I just know you” “you’re not mad or anything right” You needed Audrey’s approval. She laughed at how cute you were being. “No (y/n) we both know he’d be very lucky to have you.” You sighed. “I don’t even know why we’re talking about it though. Zoe is totally into him and she’s super smart and gorgeous and I- I could never compete with that.” Audrey looked at you disapprovingly. “Don’t say that you’re smart and funny and I like you better. We all know my vote counts most.” She winked. You laughed and hugged Audrey. “Thanks but please don’t tell him I wanna do it myself.” “As you wish m’lady.” Audrey stepped to the side and made a gesture for you to pass her towards class. You smiled as you walked side by side through the halls.
Confessing to Audrey had you thinking about it even more now in the worst place possible, psychology class. You received last weeks quizzes back. You peeked over Zoe’s shoulder to see what she got. A higher score then you: how reassuring. Noah and Zoe took control of the floor most often in the class challenging each other practically oozing sexual tension making you want to vomit. You tried to give as much input as you could. You did however, make a fine statement which persuaded Ms. Lang to award you a compliment. Noah turned and smiled proudly at you, making your heart flutter, as you gave him a joking shrug.
“Its gonna be super fun! Should I bring a present?” You wondered. Emma had just invited you, Audrey, and Noah to Kieran’s surprise birthday party and you were more than ready to do anything closely resembling normal teenage life. “(y/n) please. Don’t worry about it. Just bring whoever you want and I’ll see you tonight. Please remember it’s a surprise so keep it on the D.L.” You gave the survivor girl a enthusiastic thumbs up before she went to spread the word. You turned to Audrey and Noah. “You guys this is gonna be so fun” “As long as I’m not left alone on a floating dock again I’m pumped.” “Sorry about that.” You turned to him. “I know I should’ve paid closer attention” “Oh no!” Noah stuttered and scratched the back of his head. “that wasn’t- I didn’t mean…… So are you gonna ask anyone,” Noah inquired all of a sudden. “No way! all I need is my two besties by my side,” you joked, putting your arms around their shoulders. “My house at 8?” you suggested. Noah ducked under your arm and looked down. “Well uh I was actually thinking about asking Zoe so we’ll see you there?” Your smile fell from your face immediately. Audrey cut in for you, “Ha you’ll be missing out on all the fun” “Y-yeah,” you strained. Noah gave you an apologetic look and walked off. “He’s missing out (y/n) don’t worry about it,” Audrey tried her best to cheer you up. “Mm” you responded sadly.
Fast forward hours and everything was complete chaos. Kids barfing everywhere, your friends nowhere to be found, and you worried for your own health. You’d done three shots of Jake’s gift and the effects still hadn’t taken hold of you yet meaning they’d hit you like a truck later. You tried to get tabs on everyone. Brooke and Stavo were in the bedroom, Emma and Kieran were gone, and just as you were about to locate your best friends. BOOM. right smack dab in the middle of the entry way they were all making out with each other. Zoe was spouting nonsense about energies and Audrey was asking questions and saying Rachel’s name at the end. You grabbed Audrey first finding a large bowl and a blanket. She got a spot on the couch. Zoe was next, she got a dining room chair also with the same accommodations. Finally you dragged Noah up to a bedroom and sat next to him on the bed. “Noah! Noah!” you shook him trying to force his coherence. Then all of a sudden, you felt a haziness cloud your vision as you fought to keep your eyes open. The room spinning while your hand grasped Noah. It was the only thing that confirmed to you it wasn’t real. You grabbed the bucket you had handed to Noah as you felt yourself about to violently puke. You made it into the bathroom, not wanting Noah to see, before you started to vomit nonstop. You barely had time to breath in between one fit and another. Your throat was raw and you were hallucinating all kinds of things. You had no clue how much time had passed before you were done vomiting. Just because your stomach acids were done escaping your throat didn’t mean any of the hallucinations ended. You washed your mouth, the water feeling different, before you stumbled back to the room where Noah was asleep. You tried to shake him awake. You had been through too much and seen too much too even risk any of your friends being in danger. Tears were falling down your face as you tried to wake him to no avail. You felt yourself slipping into the blackness truly fearing for your life as well as everyone’s at the party.
You woke up to Noah leaning over you calling your name. You came to and threw your arms around him. “You’re okay. Thank god,” you breathed clutching on to his scrawny warm frame. He hugged you back as you tried to recall what happened. You remembered the three way make out first. “That was a misunderstanding,” he defended himself. “You were passed out and I was afraid you weren’t gonna wake up.” He looked away. “What is it?” you asked horrified. “I think you were hallucinating because I was awake. You were just gripping onto me and rocking us back and forth saying how you never wanted to lose me and how….. and how you loved me.” “Oh,” was all you could respond. “I know we were drugged pretty bad last night but did you- did you mean any of it.” You sighed and pressed your palm to his cheek. “It’s okay I know you like Zoe.” He grabbed your wrist and guided it towards his chest. “That’s not an answer.” “It’s true Noah. I love you,” you finally confessed. “(y/n) I-” he started before you cut him off. “You don’t have to-” “let me finish,” he pleaded. You sat back silently awaiting his answer, noticing his chest rise and fall with his breaths and his hair matted and sticking up all over the place; not forgetting to see where his eyes were, which at the moment were staring into yours. “I noticed things change a between us awhile ago and I didn’t want to push you or assume so when you didn’t say anything I thought I was overthinking and convinced myself that you could never feel that way about me. I said it’d probably be better if I tried to get over you. But now that I know….. I’ve loved you for a long time (y/n). Ever since you constantly came to the rescue and comforted us I couldn’t deny anything about the chemistry we have.” He paused and smiled nervously. “You’re also kind of funny, smart, and amazing,” he quickly mumbled. “What was that?” you teased. “I said you’re f-” You didn’t let him repeat his complements as you leaned forward and pressed your lips against his. Your mind and body relaxing as he pulled you close and you wrapped your arms around his neck. Your heart beat fluttered and you felt him smiling against your lips.
As you lied down with him, head now on his chest, he had something to say. “So it really took you being drugged to confess your feeling for me,” he joked. “What a tequila Tuesday,” you observed. “Yesterday was Friday,” he corrected you, knowing it would only aggravate you. You pulled him in for a rough quick kiss. “Yeah yeah.”
It was the very next day that a new killer announced himself on the school stage via Jake. With your hand tightly gripping Noah’s you shared an intense look with both your best friend’s. That look communicating a vow to each other that whoever decided to mess with your town and family would have another thing coming.

jealous. (centineo kiss challenge)
Tumblr media
words: 1,361
Laughter.
When those who know Noah think of him, the sound of laughter is often the first thing that floods their mind. It is nearly impossible to think of anything else when time spent with Noah is always filled with it. More than often, Noah is the one eliciting the joyous sound.
He often takes pride in making other people laugh, but he takes the most pride in causing you to do so.
In the past six months, Noah has committed every version of your laugh to memory. It's various cadences, the underlying emotions, unspoken messages beneath each of them.
How your nose scrunches when your laughter begins. How you cover your mouth, slightly shaking your head when you try to suppress it. How even your giggles vary. His favorites forming when he kisses you awake in the morning. His lips and soft pleas pulling you from sleep. How it comes out light and sweet, muffled against the pillow as his lips trace your shoulder.
But this laugh, the one that is somehow audible over the laughter and music of the party, is different.
It is his favorite, yet the one you hate the most.
The kind that curls the corner of your lips, involuntarily -- your cheeks swelling temporarily as you attempt to keep it in. But you always fail miserably. Your head falls back as you finally give in. When it flows out it is pure, unrestrained, blissful, bubbly, raucous. It leaves you breathless until you can no longer produce sounds and struggle to compose yourself.
It is his laugh. The laugh that only he can pull from you - or so he thought.
Maybe that is why he has a hard time keeping his hand still. The red cup in his hand is picking up the tap of his thumb against its surface, the sound of music and laughter muffling it from his friends seated alongside him. They're too wrapped in their conversation to realize that Noah is thoroughly checked out.
From where he sits, Noah can see you. You're standing in the overly crowded kitchen, a blue cup covering your lips as you attempt to stifle your laughter. A cup he doesn't remember placing in your hands.
Your eyes are wide and focused solely on the guy before you.
He could probably ignore the laugh, but one thing he couldn't have was you focusing solely on someone else. That's what he was for.
Noah doesn't consider himself the jealous type. He doesn't need to be. Yet, he finds himself getting up from where he sits as you release another laugh.
You only feel his presence once he's directly behind you.
Wrapping his arms around you, Noah easily maneuvers your body as far away from your companion as possible. With his arms resting against your chest, he relaxes against you as you instinctively reach up to rub his hand.
He ducks down to kiss your cheek, his lips moving down to gently grace your neck. "Hey, babe."
"Hi." You bite your lip. The giggle rising in your chest slips out as Noah gives you a gentle squeeze, his lips leaving a final kiss against the same spot as before.
There is more to your greeting, but it falls short of your boyfriend's ears as he studies sizes up the guy across from him.
He looks familiar, but he can't quite place the name. He works with you, a face that often pops up in your tagged group photos of co-workers. It is not until your hand tugs against his that Noah realizes you're both waiting for a response from him.
"Huh?"
"Jake..." you repeat, your eyes watching a wave of confusion wash across Noah's face. "He works with me, remember?"
"Oh, yeah. How's it going, man?"
Your body shifts forward uncomfortably as Noah moves so that he can reach forward to shake Jake's extended hand. Keeping his other arm around you, Noah musters up a smile.
"Jake was telling me about his trip to Ibiza with his brother." You begin to explain, Noah nodding as Jake meets his gaze.
He stays that way. Arms secure around you, eyes focused on Jake who can't seem to hold his gaze for more than a few seconds. It is not until Jake excuses himself to refill his cup that Noah thinks to blink.
When Noah doesn't move to release you, you somehow manage to spin around in his arms until you're facing him. Only to find, his gaze is somewhere over your shoulder.
"Hi, handsome." You gently tug against the front of his shirt to get his attention. "Haven’t seen you around lately."
"Yeah," he lets his gaze drop down to yours, his brow furrowed. "Didn’t want to interrupt you and Jake. Looked like you were having a good time."
You both let his words hang in the air. Noah allows his gaze to drift back over your shoulder as you backtrack.
"Oh my goodness," you groan. "Please don't."
"Don't what, y/n?"
"Turn into one of those guys." You huff.
"He's over here telling you some bullshit story just to make you interested in him. He waits until you're not with me to say hi...I can't have you alone with him, not when you're dressed like-" You watch his brows knit together as he struggles to find a way to denounce the dress he'd praised a few hours prior. "this."
Taking a step back, you glance down at the black, form-fitting dress you wore. A soft smile forms as you direct your attention to Noah.
"So my ass doesn't actually look great in this dress?" Your question causes Noah's jaw to tense, his lips pressing together at the hint of a tease in your voice. "Or is that just something you say to girls when you want a date?"
Noah only manages a weak, "that's not the point" before downing the rest of his drink and sitting the empty cup on the counter.
"Alright." Reaching around Noah to sit your drink aside, you ignore his raised brow. Standing directly before him, you lift your hands motioning for him to move closer to you. "Let's get this over with."
"What?"
"Go ahead," you sigh, meeting his gaze. "Stake your claim."
When he doesn't initially respond, you continue.
"Kiss me, grab my ass, make me put on your jacket. Hell, call Jake over to watch you do all three. Whatever you gotta do to get that "this is my girl, try me" look off your face."
"I don't-"
"You do," you giggle, Noah's face softening at the sound. "And while it's actually kinda hot, I don't need my co-workers thinking my boyfriend's a jerk. So, you, Mr. Centineo, need to get this out of your system in the next five seconds. Then, you're going to go be nice to him because I have to work with him."
You anticipate more objection, an attempt to save his ego, but no words come.
Instead, Noah takes your first suggestion.
His palms pressed against your cheeks, holding you in place as his lips move roughly against yours confirming your previously spoken words.
It is a new type of kiss, one which pulls the both of you into uncharted waters. A kiss rooted in pure jealousy, harboring a sense of insecurity you've only ever seen him display in short flashes.
Only, as his touch drifts along the curve of your jaw and into your hair, you realize the kiss is more than that. It is not just merely a jealous kiss, it is one telling you what he will spare telling Jake (at least for your sake) once he keeps his end of the bargain.
You're my girl.
His lips draw you forward as his touch softens. Your arms loop around his neck as you struggle to prevent his lips from leaving yours.
You kiss his lips, venturing right to leave a series of kisses against his jaw.
"Are you good?"
He waits until you tilt your head back, meeting his gaze, to speak.
Nodding, he leans down to give you another kiss. "For now."

Love- Peter Kavinsky  prompt!
Hi guys! Here if the fourth prompt! I hope you enjoy it!
Prompts: 26”Did anyone of these assholes mess with you?”,21The kiss you realize that you are in love kiss,16 “I love you”
You loved parties. Like truly, you did. That wasn’t sarcasm. You were the pretty girl of the school, even though you didn’t see it. In your head you were a normal girl that was friendly with everyone, you and your friends didn’t have a clique because you just got along with everyone. You floated around to the different cliques and they welcomed you with open arms. But to everyone else, you were beautiful in the most genuine way and everyone also thought that Peter Kavinsky was one lucky dude.
You and Peter had been dating for the last two months, but for six months prior to that you were on and off again. Being on with Gen dumped him and your ex had dumped you, but off again when Gen smiled at Peter and sucked him right back in. Sure it sucked having Peter taken away from you, but during those six months you knew Peter was just to keep you company while your ex was out being an asshole, and vice versa for Peter while Gen was on her period. But something happened two months ago, after a long night of doing homework and helping your siblings, Peter showed up at your door and told you he dumped Gen, for good. You being you, you had been skeptical, but the last two months had been absolute bliss. You watched as every moment that Gen tried to get Peter back, all it did was make him come find you. He ignored her. He didn’t speak to her. He blocked her on all social media, all without you asking him too. You had never seen something more beautiful.
“Want another drink, babe?” Peter asked you after he came up to you and found you playing Beer pong with Michael, his best friend. You and your best friend were going against Michael and one of Peter’s other friends, it also so happened that you guys were crushing his friends.
“Sure,” you grinned at him, totally in your element. You noticed his cup, “Did you finally find something to drink, Michael said he’s running low on booze.”
“Nah,” Peter shook his head, “I don’t drink and drive when I have you in the car.”
Peter had always been responsible, unlike your classmates. If he did drink, he stayed the night, but because you had come with Peter instead of your friends, he was convinced he had to drive you home. “Okay,” you smiled at him and watched as he smirked at you, making your cheeks flush. You knew what was on his mind, and it had to do with your legs covered in skinny jeans. For some reason, seeing you in jeans drove Peter crazy. Peter stepped towards you and slid his free hand over your hip and onto your ass while pressing his lips to yours. You squealed and slapped his arm when you felt him squeeze your ass.
“Man, what the fuck!” Michael whined from behind you, “Go home and do that shit.”
You pushed Peter off and watched as he looked pretty fucking proud of himself. He lifted the pad of his thumb to his lips and said, “I’ll go get you a drink, babe.”
Your teeth immediately clamped onto your bottom lip, your cheeks burning at his sudden want to show major PDA. You looked away from him but made the mistake of looking across the table, at Michael. He raised his eyebrows and you asked innocently, “What?”
“You got him so whipped, it ain’t even funny, Y/N.”
You rolled your eyes, “He isn’t whipped, Mikey.”
“Yeah, alright, Y/N.” Michael said and tossed the little ball, but he missed and your friend gave it a shot and immediately got it into the cup. He looked at her with wide eyes, “What the hell, Y/F/N.”
“Kiss my sweet ass boys,” she smirked, “drink up.”
“Bend over and I will,” Michael’s friend shot back and you watched with wide eyes as your friend went red, like firetruck red.
Two hours later you were laughing while all your friends were jumping into Michael’s pool, some with their clothes on while others had stripped down to their underwear.
“You going to strip down and join them, Y/N?” You heard beside you so you turned your smiling face over to see who was talking to you. It was a a guy, and a couple friends, from Peter’s lacrosse team. Ones you hadn’t really crossed paths with, other than seeing them at parties. You knew all of Peter’s friends, but some of the guys on the lacrosse team you just didn’t care about.
“Uh,” you laughed but then shook your head, “No.”
“Why not? I’m sure it would be fun.” He commented and smirked. You weren’t wearing anything revealing, because that wasn’t you, and despite being at a party you were now outside so you had your navy sweater on and wrapped around your body. Underneath all you had on was a normal black v-neck, your chest was not hanging out but you knew he was trying to sneak a peak at something.
You attempted a polite smile and looked back at your friends, mentally willing Peter to come back to you. As all of your friends decided jumping in the pool was a good idea, you had walked out with them but on the way Peter had gotten hung up on a classmate grabbing him. But the asshole touched your bicep and you moved away from him, “What do you think you’re doing?” you asked him.
“Aw, come on, Y/N,” he stepped towards you but all of a sudden you smelled Peter’s cologne and immediately relaxed as you released he stood behind you.
“Did any of these assholes mess with you, babe?” He asked you and you almost told him yes while glaring at the main instigator. But instead him and his friends immediately walked away, everyone knew that messing with Peter meant bad news for them. Peter wasn’t a fighter, but he stood up for his friends.
After they walked away, Peter moved around you and touched the tops of your shoulders while looking down at you. “Are you okay?” he asked softly.
“Yeah, he’s just an idiot.” You answered and took a deep breath.
“Why don’t we get out of here?” Peter asked, nodding his head to the house. You agreed and followed Peter out. Without meaning too, on the way home you fell silent but so had Peter.
“Gen cornered me in the bathroom,” Peter said softly as he drove through downtown, taking the roads to get you home.
“Excuse me?” you asked him, his words ringing you out of whatever peaceful thought you had. “The bathroom?”
           “It was nothing,” Peter promised.
“How can it be nothing?” you asked him, slowly getting angry. Trying to talk to him was one thing, but cornering your boyfriend was another. This bitch was really testing you. “She cornered you in a bathroom.”
“Y/N,” Peter started, “It was just Gen being Gen, you know how she’s convinced we were cheating on her the last leg of the relationship.”
“But we weren’t!” you exclaimed. Even though you felt hurt whenever he went back to her, you swallowed it. You didn’t look at him while he was taken, you didn’t speak to him. You respected their relationship and only let you and Peter happen when he wasn’t taken, and the same went for Peter with you and your ex.
“Jesus, she doesn’t understand that, Y/N.” Peter sighed, annoyed with himself that he even brought it up. You were thankful that Peter wanted to be honest with you, but Gen was pushing your limits.
“How long were you in there with her?” You asked him, turning your head to look at him as he pulled up in your driveway.
His long pause was enough to piss you the fuck off. You tilted your head and smiled sweetly, “More than two minutes?” you asked, “Five minutes?”
You had no reason to be upset with Peter. He wasn’t a cheater and neither were you, for a while you were bed buddies that turned into Peter getting addicted to you and needing you like air. He was addicted to you and never gave you any reason to second guess his loyalty, but Gen just loved to mess with you. It was the fact that he was alone with his ex-girlfriend that upset you, someone he had gone back to so easily in the past.
You could loose him in an instant. And in your crazily upset mind, this was him telling you he missed her. “Do you still love her?” you asked him as he parked the car.
“Y/N,” he breathed but all you did was look away from him and pull the door open, getting the hell out of there. He yelled out your name right before you slammed the door shut, you could feel tears gathering inside your eyes but you willed yourself to stop.
“Y/N, stop!” Peter yelled away as he opened his car door.
“I knew she was going to pull this shit,” you called out over your shoulder and turned around to face him, “You can’t say no to her!”
Anger snapped inside his eyes as he stalked towards you, but you stood your ground and watched as he walked towards you as if he were going to plow you right over. But he didn’t. Instead his hands reached up and held the back of your head, pulling your mouth straight onto his. Your back arched as you leaned into him, giving in to the warmth and the way his lips begged you to kiss him back.
You and Peter had kissed hundreds of times. It was something you both couldn’t get enough of, but this time it was different. This time it was like the whole world around you exploded with bright colors. It made your toes curl with a deep shiver, your heart gently pounding inside your chest as his fingers tightened their hold on your hair. The way his lips pressed harshly towards yours made your heart beat with one certain word.
           Love. Love. Love.
You were falling in love with Peter, and you were falling fast. It was scary because you didn’t know if he felt it within in the kiss but as he slowly pulled back you felt his heart beat heavily against the palm of your hand.
“I love you,” he blurted out, making your eyes shoot open. He stared down at you, “It’s insane, I know, but fuck,” he sighed, “I love you so much.”
This time your heart literally exploded inside your chest. Feeling like a little girl on Christmas, you grinned up at him. “I love you too, Peter.”

****
It was Emily's and Jake's big wedding day and I was getting ready to go to the ceremony at the church. Since I was a bridesmaid I had to wear the dress Emily had chosen for us which was a long, navy blue dress with short sleeves and a bow on the side. I decided to curl my long hair and wear some light makeup with it, as well as some silver earrings and a matching necklace.
After I was ready I looked at myself in the full-length mirror in my room and smiled. I looked good and felt like it too. I took a deep breath before heading down the stairs. When I entered the living room I saw that my parents and Noah were already waiting for me. All three of them got up from the couch and looked over to me.
“Oh, honey. You look beautiful.“ My mom said, tearing up a little. I smiled at her before turning over to look at Noah, who was staring at me with his mouth agape. “Wow. You look... amazing, (Y/N).“ He commented, instantly making me blush.
I smiled at him, “Thanks. You don't look bad yourself, Noah.“ I replied as I looked him up and down. He was wearing a matching navy colored suit with a button down shirt and tie as well as a pair of black leather shoes while his curly brown hair was covering his forehead. He looked even more handsome than he usually did which was something I never really thought was possible.
My heart was beating faster just by looking at him which had never happened before. I didn't really know what it meant but I also didn't have much time to think about it, since we already had to leave.
I let out a breath before asking, “Are we ready to go?“ and Noah nodded. In that moment Susanne walked down the stairs and joined us. She stared at me for a second before putting on a pair of sunglasses and leading the way outside.
Noah sighed and looked at me before we followed her outside.
****
We arrived at the church where a lot of people were already gathered inside. Noah sat inside and waited with the other guests while I headed backstage to go and see Emily.
I walked into the room where she and her mom were waiting and gasped. She looked so stunning in her wedding dress, which almost made me tear up.
“Wow, Emily. You look so beautiful.“ I said, smiling proudly at her.
“Doesn't she?“ Allison asked, looking back at her daughter. She kissed her on the cheek before giving us some space to talk.
“Hey. What happened to you last night?“ Emily asked once her mother was gone.
“Oh, I got into a fight with Ashley about the whole Dylan thing. It was dumb.“
“Hmm, big surprise.“ She answered, looking back at me.
“Anyway. I'm so sorry that I bailed on you at the end.“ I said, smiling a little.
“It's okay.“ She smiled back at me.
“I checked up on you afterward but you were already passed out on the couch which is why I went back to my cabin.“ Emily laughed at that. “So... where did you head off to anyway?“ She asked curiously.
“I ran into Noah and we talked for a while.“ I explained but Emily just smirked at me.
“Yeah... sure. You 'talked' for a while.“ She mocked before we both started laughing.
“Anyway, what did you guys do after I left?“ I asked but Emily just shrugged, “Honestly, I have no idea. The last thing I remember is Susanne yanking that tiara off of my head.“
I smiled and walked over to her, “For someone who is hurting, you surely clean up well.“ I said, wrapping my arm around her.
“Thank you. I really do look beautiful, don't I?“ We turned around to look into the mirror hanging on the wall behind us and Emily sighed a little.
“I can't believe this day is really happening. We used to talk about it so much when we were little.“ She said, looking at me.
I nodded, “Oh yeah. Remember we used to pull the white blankets off of my mom's bed and wrap them around ourselves, pretending they were our wedding dresses. We even used the pillowcases as our veils.“
“Yes, I remember. I also remember how you said you would get married before me.“
“Yeah, but just because you were such a little wild child.“ I replied which made her laugh.
“I have a feeling that somebody isn't too far behind me, though.“ She turned around and looked at me. I sighed. This felt like the right moment to tell her the truth. She was my best friend and I felt like she would understand the situation and not be mad at me for lying to her about everything.
“Emily, there's something I have to-“ but before I could continue with my sentence, Jane and Ashley walked in, interrupting our conversation.
“Hey, guys.“ Ashley said looking at us. She also gasped when she saw Emily in her wedding dress.
“Wow, look at you. You look so amazing, Em.“ She smiled and Jane nodded, “I can't even express how beautiful you look without cursing in a church.“
We laughed at her comment before hugging each other. I gave Emily her last pep talk as a bachelorette before we headed off to the ceremony.
****
The wedding ceremony was beautiful. There were lots of happy tears from all of us but especially me. I was so happy for the both of them and still couldn't quite believe that my best friend was a married woman now. I just hoped she wouldn't be mad at me once she found out I wasn't going to marry Noah. I shook that thought out of my head and tried to enjoy the rest of the reception.
I was outside to get some fresh air when my phone rang. I saw that Natalie was calling and smiled as I picked up the phone.
“Hey, Natalie. What's up?“
“Hey, honey. How's the reception going?“
“Uh, it's going great. It's already winding down now but everybody had a lot of fun.“
“I see that the paparazzi are already posting pictures online. Noah isn't even in them. You're quite famous now, huh?“
Natalie was talking about the pictures that the paparazzi took when we left the church after the wedding ceremony. They had somehow managed to find out where the wedding was and tried to drag me and Noah out for a picture. Noah wasn't on them though because he wasn't there when we left the church afterward. It was crazy to me how much they invade other people's privacy just to get a perfect picture. This was definitely the downside of being a celebrity and something I wish wasn't a part of this industry.
“Yeah probably because I look like I'm freaking out in every photo. I swear they like hide in the bushes and jump out at like the worst moment.“
“Well, you should probably get used to it because you have 9 auditions waiting for you next week. And they're all just for you, honey.“
“9 auditions? That's amazing!“
“Well, that's the business for you. Anyway, you go and have fun alright? I'll see you next week back at my office.“
“Yeah, thanks, Natalie.“
I smiled and hung up the call before putting my phone away. I heard someone clear their throat behind me and turned around to see Dylan standing there.
“Hey.“ I greeted him.
“So... I've heard about the 9 auditions next week.“ He said as he walked over to me.
“Did you eavesdrop on me?“ I mocked, nudging his shoulder.
“Not intentionally. I wanted to talk to you and saw you standing outside and then you freaked out about the 9 auditions, so there's that.“ He smiled.
I laughed a little before we both walked over to a table and sat down.
“I'm really happy for you, (Y/N).“ Dylan looked at me. “You deserve it. And you look stunning tonight.“
I smiled a little, “Thanks, Dylan. You look great too.“
“Thank you.“ He paused for a moment before he asked, “What are you doing, (Y/N)?“
I looked at him confused, “What do you mean by that?“
Dylan sighed, “I know, okay. I know all about this.“ He explained while fidgeting with his hands.
“Susanne was tipsy... I don't know half of what she was saying but she did tell me that everything between you and Noah is a sham.“
I shook my head, trying to deny it. “No, no, no. It's um-“
“(Y/N), please.“ Dylan interrupted and I sighed. “Okay. So the truth is... I lost this big job in L.A. and I didn't want anyone here to think that I was a failure. So one lie lead to another and another and I just-“
“and then you just realized that you actually like Noah.“ Dylan stated, looking back at me.
I scoffed, shaking my head. “What? No. No, no, no.“
“No?“
“No, no, no. Definitely not.“ I said, trying to convince him. Although it felt like I was trying to convince myself more of that.
“He's not my type. He's got a really crazy life.“ I added, hoping he would just drop it.
“Remember that thing you told me? About how I should let myself get closer to Ashley? It stuck with me and you're right. I think now it's time for you to take your own advice.“
“It's different,“ I answered but Dylan shook his head at that. “You don't know that, (Y/N). You two could have something. Something great.“
I looked at him, “You really think so?“
He nodded, “Really.“ He smiled at me and I smiled back, feeling really happy about him feeling that way. It felt good that I was able to talk about these kinds of things with him.
“I mean... not that that dude could ever be as cool as me. But you could try.“ I laughed at that.
“I'm glad that we never dated, (Y/N). Cause I never wanna lose my best friend.“ Dylan said, reaching for my hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. I smiled at him before he got up from his seat.
“See you later.“ He said before walking back inside the venue. I gazed after him and let out a breath. I was glad that Dylan was my best friend too. Our friendship had always been too important to me which was why it felt so good, knowing that we were now on the same page about our relationship.
I got up from my seat and made my way back inside when I ran into Noah. My heart jumped a little at the sight of him.
“Hey, I was looking for you.“
“Well, you found me. So... what's up?“ I asked, smiling a little.
“I uh... thought I'd ask you to dance. With me.“ He said, sounding a little nervous.
“Oh, you did?“
He nodded. “I was dancing with Jane but she got two left feet. She also asked me to sign her bridesmaid's dress which I thought was a little strange. So... I'm a little exhausted from that.“
I laughed, “If you're exhausted then you should rest instead of dance with me. I'm probably too much for you to handle anyway.“
He raised his brows at me, “Oh, is that so?“
“Yeah. I used to dance when I was younger so I'm pretty awesome.“
“Oh. Well... I think I'll be the judge of that.“ He held out his hands to me and I took them, smiling at him.
“Try to keep up.“ Noah mocked as we started to waltz to the music in the background. “Okay,“ I responded, laughing a little.
He then twirled me around before catching me and spinning me back into his arms. He gave me an impressed look, “You weren't lying when you said you were good. 'Cause you are pretty good.“
“Thanks. So are you.“ I told him as we kept dancing.
“I took a couple of dance lessons myself.“
“I can tell.“
He smiled at me. “So... now that you're a full-time celebrity. What do you think of the press?“
“Ah, it kinda sucks. It feels like I stole my best friend's thunder on her wedding day.“
Noah laughed at that.
“But I don't know. I don't think I could ever be a superstar. It must be tough.“
I looked at him.
“Well... you kinda get used to it after a while.“ He locked his eyes with me. “Just a bunch of lights... camera... action.“ He continued before twirling me again.
When he pulled me back to him, he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back with my arms wrapped around his neck. It was just a short, sweet kiss but my whole body instantly filled with electricity the moment his lips met mine.
When I realized what was happening, I immediately pulled away from him. We both looked at each other for a moment before he spoke up. “I'm sorry. I just got caught up in the moment.“
“It's okay.“ I said, my eyes still on him.
“I guess the world around us disappeared for a moment.“ He stared back into my eyes and my heart was beating like crazy.
“Yeah. I felt that too.“
He grinned at me, “It was great though.“
“Yeah... it was.“
We just kept staring at each other until it started to feel a little awkward. Luckily Noah seemed to notice that too and quickly changed the topic.
“So I've heard about your auditions. That's great.“
“Yeah. I mean thanks to you. If this accidental engagement leads to me booking something legit, I really could never thank you.“
Noah shook his head at that. “That's not true. You already have.“
I look at him a little confused, “How?“
“This town. Your friends. Your parents. All of it has been kind of amazing. A little vacation from all the madness, I guess. I really needed it. Badly. I just didn't realize it.“ He explained, making me smile a little.
It was good to hear that he enjoyed his time with me here in Conway because I did enjoy being with him too. I didn't think I would, considering how everything started with us, but  I truly did. Spending more time with him and actually getting to know him better was a great way to spend my weekend.
“That's great, Noah. I'm glad you had a good time. I mean it's kind of been a vacation for me too.“
“Yeah? Coming home?“
“Partly. More I guess... from myself? You know that argument I had with Ashley?“
Noah nodded.
“It was about how insecure I used to be when I was younger. And I don't know... when I'm with you, I don't feel that way. I mean I should but I don't. I never have.“ I confessed to him.
He smiled at me. “That's good because you shouldn't. Not around me or anyone else. I think that nobody should ever make anyone else feel insecure. We already do enough of that to ourselves every day.“
“Yeah, you're definitely right about that.“
We stared at each until we heard a loud yelp behind us. We turned around and saw Susanne on her phone. We both looked at each other before walking back inside to see what was happening.
****
“Noah... oh my gosh, Noah!“ Susanne yelled, looking at him excitedly. Noah run towards her, confused about what was going on.
“It's Michael and Alisha. My P.I. caught them making out at a baseball game. And he got photos. Look!“ She zoomed in on a picture on her phone and showed it to him.
“Ew. Gross. But, isn't that fantastic, babe? Now I can officially get a divorce and you and I can get insanely rich together!“ She turned around and pulled him closer to her.
I just stood there and watched them while feeling completely confused about the whole situation.
Noah looked back at me, trying to explain what was going on. “It's her husband. Kind of a weird thing. I guess... I guess it's over now?“ He looked down at Susanne's phone for a minute before searching for my eyes again.
“What? You don't owe her an explanation. Let's just get it over with!“ Susanne hissed, staring at Noah from the side.
“What are you talking about?“ Noah asked confused.
“The big break up! It's perfect. At a wedding. It works on so many levels.“
I wasn't even listening to what she was saying because my heart just felt like it had stopped. Of course, he wanted to be with Susanne. Gosh, I felt so stupid for even thinking that he wanted to be with me. I could never compete with someone as pretty and successful as Susanne. I guess I just forgot for a while that everything between us was only an act and that none of it was supposed to be real. Even though most of the things that happened between us did feel pretty real to me.
“Susanne, can you just give me a moment here?“ Noah asked, looking at her.
“Oh yeah, sure, sure, sure. Get into character. Find your moment before. And then... Break. Up.“ She said before turning around to look at me.
“Just give me the ring.“ She held out her hand, giving me an impatient glance.
“The ring? You're marrying her?“ I asked, looking at him hurt.
The both of them instantly shook their heads. “No.“
Susanne laughed, still looking at me. I sighed and took off the ring. “You want this? Fine.“
“Take it. It's just a prop anyway, right? For this whole stupid act!“ I said a little louder before handing her the ring.
“Alright, the scene is set. Let's go.“ Susanne said looking at us. “No, wait. We need witnesses.“ She turned around and snapped her finger, calling everyone over.
“Oh no, wait. We need someone to take photos. Let me just-“ I've had enough at this point and interrupted her.
“No, that's enough. You wanna do this, right? So... let's do this! Let's give them the big show, the big finish. The big break up you've been asking for.“ I said as my friends gathered around us.
Noah looked at me with hurt in his eyes, taking a step towards me. “(Y/N), you don't have to do this.“
“Oh yeah, I do. I mean that was the deal we made, right? The reason you came to this wedding with me in the first place, Noah.“ I reminded him.
“Deal?“ Ashley asked confused, giving me a questioning look.
“Don't get distracted and stick with the scene.“ Susanne chimed in, giving me a glare.
“(Y/N), what is she talking about?“ Emily asked, looking at me confused.
Noah glanced at me again before speaking up. “(Y/N) was just trying to help me out of a mess. No one could know that Susanne and I were together and since everyone already assumed that I was dating (Y/N), she agreed to cover for her. So we made a pact to break up in public and in return, I agreed to come to this wedding with her.“
“Right. Good old (Y/N), always there to help.“ I looked back at my friends, who were all staring at me. “You guys were right... Noah would never go for me. He's way out of my league.“ I said as I fought back the tears that were stinging in my eyes.
Noah shook his head at that, “That's not true, (Y/N).“
I scoffed, shaking my head as well. “True? None of this is true! None of this is real. It never was.“ I let out a breath before continuing, “this whole thing... it's just a fantasy. An act. I mean we're actors after all, right?“
I could tell that Noah was hurt by my words, but I didn't really care anymore. I was tired of playing games and lying to the people that I cared about because of him.
“A fantasy?“ He asked, his voice filled with hurt.
“Our relationship. This whole plan. Even your whole relationship with Susanne is probably another fantasy. I get it. I do. You grew up on a TV show and spent your entire life in front of a camera. The places weren't real. The people weren't real. The words weren't real. Neither were the feelings. Everything was always scripted and you were just doing your job. Just like you did with me this weekend.“
“Maybe you're right. Maybe I do live in a fantasy world.“ He paused and took a deep breath before saying, “but this weekend... it wasn't just another job to me. It was more than that. You are more than that.“
He hid his hands in his pockets and looked back at me. “I know how I feel, (Y/N). And I know who I like.“
I scoffed at him, “Oh yeah? Well, I'm pretty sure, it's not a loser like me.“
“(Y/N), you're not a loser.“ Emily chimed in, shaking her head.
“You're just saying that because I lied to you.“
“Oh no. She knew.“ Jake threw in, wrapping his arm around his wife.
“You knew?“ I looked at her.
“You're my best friend, (Y/N). Of course, I knew. But If you felt like you needed to lie to me, I wasn't going to stop you. I just didn't understand why.“
“Why? Because I messed up, guys. I'm not famous. I'm not dating a superstar. I had a role in a film and I totally blew it. I didn't wanna come home and be a failure again. But I  screwed that up too.“ I felt tears rolling down my face and because I didn't want to embarrass myself even more in front of all of my friends, I turned around and ran off. I ran to my car, knowing it was the only place I would have to myself.
Once I was in my car, I started sobbing. I let all of the pain, anger, hurt and other kinds of emotions I was feeling, out.
About half an hour later I finally managed to calm myself down and decided to drive back home to my parents' house.
Luckily they were already asleep when I arrived, which meant they couldn't ask me any sorts of questions. I changed into some comfortable clothes and took my makeup off before laying down in my bed.
I still felt like crying, even though I didn't have any tears left to cry. Because of that, I decided to just close my eyes and sleep so that I was able to forget about this terrible evening.
****
I woke up the next morning, feeling like crap. I didn't want to think about yesterday though, which was why I forced myself to get out of bed and take streaming, hot shower. Once I was done with that, I blew dry my hair and changed into fresh clothes before going down to eat some breakfast.
My mom was already waiting for me when I got into the kitchen.
“Hey, sweety. Did you have fun last night?“ She asked when I sat down at the dining table.
I didn't really feel like talking about what happened yesterday which was why I just said, “Yeah. It was a great time.“
“Oh yeah? Sounds like it.“ She responded, knowing I wasn't telling her the truth.
I just sighed before pulling a loose string of hair out of my face.
“What happened?“ My mom asked. She then saw that the engagement ring was gone and looked at me confused. “Where's your ring?“
“Noah was seeing Susanne and she's married and getting divorced. It looked bad so they asked me to cover for her. It was supposed to be simple but went crazy instead. Like super crazy. Everyone knows now and I feel stupid. So I just wanna sit here and eat my pancakes and not talk about it anymore.“
“You lied to me.“ My mom stated and the way she said that sentence made me feel even more horrible for lying to her.
I sighed and looked back at her with apologizing eyes. “Yeah mom, I lied. I'm sorry. I really messed up.“
“Where's Noah now?“ She asked, looking at me.
“I don't know, mom. We're not engaged.“
She gave me a typical mom-knows-better kind of look. “Well... not yet.“
I didn't know what to respond so instead of saying something I just looked back at her.
“Don't give me that look, (Y/N). You like him. He likes you.“
“He has a girlfriend. Or whatever Susanne is.“ I answered, shaking my head.
“Well, I had a boyfriend when I met your dad.“
I looked at her surprised, “What? No way.“
My mom laughed. “Yes, I had a boyfriend. His name was David. He was studying to be a doctor. He was very handsome too. Bill and I were just friends at that time. I think we met at a Halloween party. David wasn't there that night because he had to work.“
“and then the two of you fell in love.“
“No, no. It wasn't like that. We didn't date for quite some time. I think maybe like a month or so? Yeah, a month after that. But we were friends. Great friends.“
“What did dad have what David didn't have?“ I asked her.
“Your dad? Nothing. But together... together we had something special. Together we had fun. We had magic.“ She explained, smiling a little. “and that's what I see with you and Noah.“
My heart made a little jump at the sound of his name, but I ignored it.
I shook my head and looked back at her. “It's different. I mean you and dad are perfect for each other, mom.“
My mom scoffed a little, “yeah... now. But back then it was different. With the laughter comes the tears, comes the fighting. All this stuff.“ She looked at me and reached over to take my hand.
“Honey... nothing starts out perfect. If it did, you'd be bored. The special things you have to work at. You have to fight for these special things. But the perfect things? Those are the things that you've earned.“ She smiled at me.
“I really am sorry about lying to you, mom.“
“I understand. And truth be told: I was very upset, very upset to hear that you had gotten engaged without us meeting him.“
“Next time, you'll meet him first.“
“Oh no, I think I already have.“
I scoffed, “Mom. I'm not marrying Noah.“
“Not yet.“ I rolled my eyes at her before dad joined us at the table. We ate breakfast together and spent the rest of the morning together as well.
It was a few hours later and I was in my room, packing a few things for my flight back to L.A. when I heard a knock at my door.
“Come in,“ I said, looking at the door.
Emily opened it and smiled. “Hey.“ She greeted me before walking in and sitting on my bed.
“Hey.“ I sat down next to her.
“Shouldn't you be on your honeymoon right now?“ I asked, looking at her.
“We leave in a couple hours. You know I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye to you first.“ She smiled, nudging my shoulder.
“You mean like I did last night?“
Emily rolled her eyes at me. “Stop, okay? I'm not mad at you. I mean I am mad, but not for last night. I'm mad because you just didn't trust me enough to tell me the truth in the first place. I can see how you'd feel a little distant though because of the whole Ashley and maid of honor thing. I should have stuck up for you when she was being a pain in the butt.“
I shook my head at that. “No, Em. You are great. I, on the other hand, not so much. I am probably the worst maid of honor, ever.“
“No, you're not. You're the best.“ She replied, smiling at me. “and I loved the gift you gave me. I cried when I opened it.“
I smiled back at her, “Did you really?“
“Yeah. A framed photo of the Rockefeller Christmas tree where Jake first proposed. Me and Jake both cried.“
I laughed at that and she did too. She pulled me into a hug and I hugged her back. “Even when you're a mess, you're still the bestest friend ever.“ Emily whispered to me as we were hugging each other.
“No, you are.“ I said as we pulled away from each other.
“Speaking of good gifts. Noah got us two plane tickets and an all-inclusive stay at Nappa Valley.“
“Wow... that is amazing. I didn't know.“ I said, a little surprised about the sweet gesture.
“Well... he said that it was from both of you.“
“Yeah, but he didn't tell me about it.“
“He's a good guy, (Y/N).“
I sighed, “I know that, Em. But he's also taken.“
She sighed before changing the topic. “So... what are you gonna do when you get back to L.A.?“
“What I always do. Enjoy the California sun, go to some auditions and hope for the best.“ I replied, smiling a little.
“Now, that's my maid of honor.“ She nudged my shoulder and I smiled at her. “and uhm... there's somebody else that wants to talk to you.“ She said, looking towards the door.
“Oh really?“ I asked before getting up and opening it.
I saw Jane and Ashley standing in front of me. Jane smiled and walked past me, sitting on my bed next to Emily to give me and Ashley some space.
“Hey (Y/N). I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry for the way I've been. Well... always.“ She started, making me laugh.
“Like I talked to Dylan for a long time last night and if I'm the reason that you and him or anyone felt insecure back in high school or now, I really can't apologize enough.“
I shook my head at her, “Ashley, it's okay.“
“No, I know. I just... I promise I'm gonna get better. Okay?“ She crossed her arms in front of her chest before continuing, “It's just... I get jealous of you sometimes, you know? I admire you for chasing your dreams and sometimes I wish I'd been as brave.“
I had no idea she felt that way, but it felt really good hearing that from her. Even though we 'd been friends for so long, I never really felt like she supported me as much as everyone else did. So hearing her say all these things to me really meant a lot.
“Thanks, Ashley. That really means a lot to me.“ I said, smiling at her.
“And hey. You're gonna be a big star, you know that?“ She laughed and I joined her.
“And you're gonna find a great guy.“
“You mean like you did?“
She nodded before walking inside my room. I closed the door behind us and followed her.
We all sat down on my bed.
“We wanna visit you this summer too.“ Jane said, putting her hand on mine.
“After my honeymoon of course.“ Emily chimed in.
“Girls weekend?“ Ashley asked and I nodded. “That sounds perfect.“ I responded before we all hugged each other.

It was a few days later and I was back in Los Angeles, sitting in Natalie's office.
“So, you had this 3 p.m audition on Tuesday which I had to cancel.“ Natalie explained, looking at me.
“Oh no. Why?“ I asked, a little confused.
“You were booked for six episodes as a recurring role on a TV show that may go on series regular if the response on you is good. I should have the script very soon.“
“Seriously? Not even an audition?“
“Nope, this one is all yours, baby.“
“Wow... I mean he must have been reading the news. It must have been because of all the press.“
Natalie shook her head at that. “No, not at all. I asked him but he didn't even realize you were the same girl.“
I gasped, “So you're saying I did this one all on my own?“
“I mean I worked out all the deal points, but yes (Y/N), you most certainly did.“
“Wow. Thank you so much, Natalie. This is so crazy.“
“So if I were you, I'd go to that job of yours and give them a two-week notice as soon as possible.“
I smiled and nodded at her before leaving her office and making my way back home.
****
Another two weeks had passed and I was finishing off my last shift at the cafe.
“So how does it feel working your last shift at this good ol' place?“ Melody asked me.
“Well, it feels like a good chapter of my life is finally coming to an end.“ I answered, looking at her.
“Aww, I'm gonna miss you, lady. And the paparazzi. Mostly the paparazzi.“ She said, making me laugh.
“We haven't had them in a while though.“ I answered, looking at her. “Well... I wouldn't be so sure about that.“ Melody said, looking at the door. I followed her gaze and saw that Noah had entered the café.
My heart instantly started pounding like crazy the second I saw him again. The last time I heard from him was the day of the wedding which was a few weeks ago. Ever since then I haven't really been able to stop thinking about him. Of course, I tried to forget about him, but it was literally impossible. Noah was everywhere. Whether it was on the cover of a magazine or in an advertisement on a billboard; in an interview on TV or in a random video online. There was no escaping Noah Centineo and even though I should hate him for everything that happened between us, I couldn't.
I let out a breath before making my way over to him. “Hey. How are you doing?“ I asked, looking at him.
He had his hands hidden in his pockets and gave me a shy smile. “Hey. I just wanted to say congratulations.“
“For what?“
“Well, I heard about the new show you just booked. And actually, my new agent asked if I wouldn't mind seeing if you would take a meeting with her. Which of course I couldn't say no to.“ He said, his eyes meeting mine.
“Well... you know I am pretty busy these days.“ I laughed a little. “But I'd love to. Thank you.“ I answered, smiling at him.
“How about we get some coffee?“ Noah asked, pointing towards the tables behind us.
“That sounds like a good idea.“ We walked over to one of the tables and sat down.
I looked at him and asked, “So... how's Susanne?“
He nodded a little, “She's good. She's planning the trip she's about to make with all the money she's about to get from the divorce.“
“That's great. Where are you guys going?“
“Not sure about her. My only plan was to come here.“ Noah answered before looking back at me. I couldn't help but smile at his response.
“And I assumed you were quitting soon so I wanted to make sure not to miss you.“ He added, making my heart jump again.
“Well yeah... it's my last day, today.“
“I'm very glad I made it then.“ Before I had a chance to respond, my co-worker Melody walked in with two mugs in her hand, interrupting our conversation.
“I'm just gonna leave these here for you guys.“ She winked at me before walking off to grab some coffee.
“Man, we put on a heck of a performance for everyone, didn't we?“ Noah stated, changing the topic.
I nodded my head, “Yeah. Yeah, we did.“ I paused and let out a breath. “Was all of it just a performance though? Because to me, it wasn't. At least not all of it.“
“I feel the same way, (Y/N). I mean I never thought it was gonna get real, but it did. Like everything that happened between us wasn't just for show. The conversations. The dancing. The kiss... all of it did feel pretty real to me.“
Hearing him say that made my heart beat a billion times faster. Knowing that he felt the same way I did, that the things between us weren't just all fake, made me happy.
It gave me hope that maybe, despite everything, we still had a chance to make things work between us. Only for real this time.
“So, now that we know how each of us really feels what happens next?“ I asked, looking at him.
“No more fake stuff. No scripts, no story, no acting. Just you and me.“ Noah answered, before reaching over the table to grab my hand. He squeezed it lightly and smiled at me. My whole body was tingling by the simple touch of his hand and at that moment I realized that he was the only one who had ever been able to make me feel this way.
“Yeah, I like the sound of that.“ I smiled back at him.
Melody walked back over to us and poured some coffee into both of our mugs. “So... can I get you anything else?“ She asked, looking at us.
“No, I think I've got everything I need right here in front of me.“ Noah replied and Melody nodded. She walked off once she filled up our mugs.
I scoffed a little at him, “Seriously, Noah? You're gonna use the same line your character used in the movie that I was fired from? Do you really think that's gonna work on me?“
“Well... I was hoping it would. And since you're the one that's sitting in front of me this time, I don't even have to worry about getting coffee spilled all over me again.“ He teased, laughing a little.
I rolled my eyes at him. “You're an ass, Centineo.“
“Yeah, I am. But I know that no matter what I say or do, you'll still think that I'm the coolest guy you've ever met.“ He grinned at me.
“Well, it's definitely good to know that you're still the same Noah with the same big ego you had when we first met.“ I replied, grinning back at him.
Noah shook his head at that, his voice changing into a more serious tone. “You're wrong about that, (Y/N). I'm not the same guy I was back then.“
“Oh yeah? Why's that?“ I asked, raising my brows at him.
“Because I didn't have you in my life. But since I've met you I realized that you don't need to have a fancy lifestyle or success or money to be happy. All you need to truly be happy is someone who accepts you even though you're not perfect. Someone who you can make breakfast with in the morning or sit down and talk to for hours. Someone that makes you wanna be a better person. You're that someone to me, (Y/N) because you're the one who opened my eyes when I needed it the most. The one I unexpectedly fell in love with.“
I smiled at him while my heart was pounding so fast and loud that I was afraid he was able to hear it. I felt like the only way to respond to his confession was to show him how I truly felt about him, which was why I leaned over the table and kissed him. He kissed me back, his hands gently cupping my face. My whole body started tingling as soon as our lips met while it felt like fireworks were exploding inside my chest.
Noah was the first one to pull away from the kiss, resting his forehead against mine while staring back into my eyes. In a low voice, he said, “So... I guess that means you're in love with me too, huh?“
“Of course I am. How could I not be? I mean, you're literally impossible to resist. Look, I know I'm not the first and only girl out there who is in love with Noah Centineo, but I hope to at least be the last.“ I smiled, locking my eyes with his.
“Well, you're right. There's a whole bunch of girls out there that are supposedly in love with me, but you're the only one that really matters, (Y/N). The only one I want to be with.“ He smiled back at me with so much love in his eyes that I felt like the luckiest girl in the entire world.
“I want to be with you too, Noah.“ I responded before kissing him again. It was my way of showing him how much I had actually missed him over the last few weeks. Noah smiled at me before deepening the kiss, which I assumed was his way of showing me that he had missed me too.
I smiled at him as we pulled away again. “Let's get out of here, (Y/L/N),“ Noah said before getting up and taking my hand.
I nodded and linked my fingers with his before waving goodbye to Melody and walking out of the café with Noah. Once we were outside we stared at each other. “So... what's on our agenda today?“ I asked Noah and he shrugged his shoulders. “I don't know. Didn't really plan anything before I got here.“
I smiled a little. “Neither did I. And I think for the first time since we've met that's actually a good thing.“
Noah nodded, “Yeah, it definitely is.“ He answered, smiling back at me. He then pulled me closer to him and kissed me sweetly. I kissed him back before we headed over to my car to spend the rest of the day together.
I had no idea what the future had in store for us and how things were going to be like for me and Noah from now on, but for the first time in my life, I was actually okay with that. For the first time in my life, I was okay with not knowing what's going to happen. All I knew was that I wanted to be with Noah and that he wanted to be with me and that nothing else really mattered.

A couple of whoos started fill the silence of the room. He paused, turning back around and walking towards you, “Is traux telling the truth? Did you kiss that lesbo?” Before you could answer your boyfriend, moe walked towards you two and flings an arm around your shoulder.
“Yes, she did.” Moe answered for him, enjoying the rage on his face before her eyes flicker to you. The curly-haired girl bit her lip before looking at Shawn's red face, “Would you like for us to recreate it for you?” That was one of the many things that you loved about her, her confidence and she definitely wasn't scared of the outcome.
“You wouldn't.” He started, directly looking moe in her dark brown eyes.
“Oh, but I would.” Moe responded back smugly. Shawn side-glanced at you but your facial features were almost as if he was challenging you. Putting on a fake pout for shawn, moe directed your face to hers, leaning in as well and planted her lips on yours.
Everyone was completely still and silent, the only source of sound was the party music. It sounded like everyone was eager to see your reaction from the kiss and to their surprise, you didn't pull away and kissed back, feeling moe's arm drop from your shoulder to hold your waist.
Deepening the kiss, moe slipped her tongue in your mouth and you let out a low moan in her mouth. While all of this was happening, moe sticked up her middle finger at the brunette boy, pushing it directly in his face to annoy him even more. (if you know where this is from, i love you)
You weren't worried about half of your school, knowing that you were not in fact straight. They probably are all drunk of their asses and won't remember a single thing at the party – you so desperately hoped.
There were a couple of whooings and a few whistles in the formed crowd. Shawn was fuming with fury and embarrassment so if he was a cartoon, he'd have smoke coming out of his ears right about now. Luckily, noah noticed the fury in the jock's eyes and dragged you and moe in the nearest bathroom that he could find.
Before noah closed the door, he winked at moe while her eyes widen when she found out what he was doing but before she could do anything, the door shut. You and moe were enveloped into darkness, a pregnant silence filled the air between the teenage girls. Just what moe needed, you and her being trapped in a tiny bathroom, what could go wrong? Could have moe embarrassed herself in front of you?
“Moe, what was th–“ A pair of soft lips collided with yours, pulling you by the hips. Her lips were soft and sweet like cinnamon, unlike Shawn’s kisses that were rough and rushed. To be honest, Moe didn't even know what she was thinking– she was nervous, maybe anxious or perhaps even embarrassed. She didn't know how to shut you up and according to her, this was a great way to do it.
You actually liked– no you actually loved kissing moe but not to sound like a pervert but you actually dreamed of how Moe would taste. Melting into the kiss, you cupped her face, tracing her face with the pads of your thumbs. When moe pulled away, her breathing was loud and so was yours. Breaking out of your love-like daze, you both pulled away on instinct as a loud banging was heard from the door and than came shawn’s voice.
“[Name]. Hurry up!” Shawn announced to you.
“Go away, asshole! She's busy right now.” Moe exclaimed before pulling you to another passionate kiss.
Moe missed how your lips tasted from since you both were 14 but she came to realization. You have a boyfriend, yet here you are kissing her. She pulled away, disconnecting her lips away from yours to speak, two hands palming your cheeks to keep herself from kissing you again. But if only she could capture your dazed face and put it on a polaroid for her to savor it, trust me she would.
“Why did I do that? You ha–“ Ignoring her complaints, you pulled her in for another kiss, this one however was more passionate but it started to become more intense. The make-out was so intense that you could swear that your lips were swollen from the contact. Drifting her lips away from yours and onto your neck, both of your heavy breathing which could be the only source of sound in the tiny bathroom.
Moe whispered, leaving trails of kisses on your neck, “I could make you feel so much better than Shawn ever did.” Remaining silent, she grabbed you by the waist and placed you on the sink. Moe looked at you, your legs wrapping around her waist, closing the gap between you two.
Wasting no more time, moe's lips were back on yours, your rhythm was unmatched moving every few seconds. Breaking away from the intense kiss, she trailed her beautiful lips downwards to your neck and began sucking on the available skin there.
Moaning at the touch of this, you grabbed the back of her head for support as she continued to pleasure you. Back outside the closet, shawn was getting impatient but a few of noah's friends held him back.
“[Name]! Come on, let's go!” He shouted from where he was. That made moe break away from her current position on you, she felt a smirk placed on her lips and continued to kiss your neck, leaving very visible dark marks. That little she-devil wanted to mark you so bad that no amount of make-up can cover this.
“If only, shawn could see what position that you were in.” She commented.
You squeaked at the little remark, “I'm fine shawn. Just go home without me!” You did your best to hide the little moans that always threatened to leave your throat. Just at that moment, he began to speak again, “Are you sure?” About to talk again, moe bit down on your neck which made you whimper in surprise.
Hopefully, he didn't hear that but unfortunately, that boy had great hearing. “What the hell are you even doing in there with, traux?”
“We're just talking, alright. Go home, I'll have someone drop me home.”
“Ohhh...we're talking alright.” Moe teases, playing with the bottom of your shirt, “And trust me, I'm loving this talk.” After a few minutes of silence, his retreating footsteps left.
“You're gonna be the death of me, I swear.” Moe groaned as you pulled away from the loving yet shocking kiss.
“Careful, traux. Can't have you dying on me.” You smirked, before pulling her into another magnifying kiss.
