I don’t believe in BG either bc the Briana pregnancy was so messy however this whole storyline everyone has made up for Louis if it was real really confuses me? Everyone talks about how if it’s real he must be a shit dad because he didn’t pay attention to him for years but how would anyone know that?

We’re all quick to say Louis and Harry are still together and we haven’t seen them together since 2016 because everything is private and due to their closet. But it would be the same for Louis and Freddie if he was his dad, it would be private? When Louis goes MIA, we genuinely have no idea where he is or what he’s doing. If it did happen to be real, then he could be with the child in private and not going places that he knows he would be seen by fans or paparazzi? It’s not like paparazzi follow his every move anymore aswell and they haven’t for years now.

Look I’m not trying to argue, I agree about BG however I just don’t understand this argument everyone has made up if Freddie did happen to be his because it just makes us look like other idiot fans who come up with narratives to suit them.

Okay this is a perfectly understandable argument and follows really great logic, except I was here in 2016. I don’t know if you were but anyone who is here in 2015/2016 can tell you that this argument doesn’t hold up because of what was happening in 2016 and things we were informed of by Louis himself/witnessed happen in real time.

In 2016 we essentially had a live feed of where Freddie was at all points in time. He was either being papped on Tuesdays with Louis and Danielle so we could see Louis “hung out with him” or he was being live-streamed by Briana/the Clarks. When fans say “Louis only spent 1 hour with Freddie in a parking lot on his first Father’s Day” that is a verifiable fact. Louis got papped in a parking lot with the Clarks. His father’s day pic is of him holding Freddie’s hand in a car seat. The rest of the day Freddie was in videos with Brett and Tammi, and Louis was off doing OTHER SHIT.

The day of Freddie’s first birthday they posted a video of Briana and Freddie and Louis in a house that was ALREADY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE because Briana had moved out of the house she lived in in 2016 but we still got a video from there and then Louis posted live video of himself at a concert.

Louis (and Niall) told us in 2016 that Louis did not have overnight permission. Freddie NEVER spent the night with him as a child. Even when they flew Freddie, Briana and Ashley to the UK for Jay and the XFactor Freddie stayed with Briana the entire time barring one afternoon with the twins. The most basic parental job is being with your baby when they sleep. Louis has NEVER done that. They waited until Freddie was 5ish to ship him off to the UK for holiday which is roughly the age in America a lot of white people start allowing their kids to spend the night with non-family.

Again I completely understand what you are saying. We don’t know everything. We can’t tell what the boys are doing in their spare time. Now. In 2022. But in 2015 and 2016 this was not the case. And in hindsight we now have a pretty good idea that the times we didn’t see Louis in 2016 he was with his mom in the UK. Where Freddie could not be, verifiably, because he didn’t get a passport - which btw the Clark’s very much implied getting a passport was not something they were ever going to get for Freddie - until November 2016 as an emergency order due to Jay’s passing, that the Clarks had no idea was happening.

Let me repeat that again: a British celebrity had a child with a normal American citizen. That child did not get a passport until he was forced to travel to the UK for a dying family member, that the mother’s family had no idea had been terminally ill for 3/4s of the year. Louis did not include the Clarks or Freddie in his family plans in 2016 until he absolutely had to. That is not “good parent” behavior. He didn’t start “taking care” of Freddie until he was out of being a toddler because we can do the same tracking method in 2017.

In 2017 he spent a lot of time in England and with Eleanor. Eleanor has never met Freddie. The one time she’s been to LA since BG started she was on IG stories posting her every fucking move so we knew she was NOT WITH FREDDIE. God help me I wish they did meet because I have been BEGGING for a pic of the two of them for years because you just know it’s gonna be suffering.

That is 2 years where Louis and Freddie were Very Easily Tracked. You could see where they were and what they did and if they were together with pretty good accuracy. That’s not the case anymore but it was the case back then. And that’s why we say if this was real Louis is a shit father because he didn’t start doing anything different until Freddie was at LEAST 3 or 4.

pairing! boyfriend!fernando x fem!reader.

warnings! none.

warning—or not a warning, being a kpop stan and dating fernando will be a great time. it took him a bit to understand exactly how kpop works but once he understood? he began to love it just like you.

comeback days with your favorite group and fernando is a mix of a few things. excitement, jealousy, and happiness. yes fernando is going to become super jealous over your love for your bias.

“do you like him more than me? you’ve been staring at these new photos for way too long.”

“I can dance way better than that! have you seen my hips? I know for a fact that he can’t do that.”

although he gets “jealous” it’s all jokes and to poke fun at you which is his favorite thing to do. he’ll then want to learn the choreography and try to do it with you or he’ll do it to impress you obviously.

sometimes you think he’s most excited about the comeback days because he wants to see if he’ll like the song or not. he’ll even ask you to watch the teaser with him so he can hear what it’ll sound like.

fernando will take you out shopping for new albums or merchandise that you’ll definitely want. he’ll even buy a shirt or hoodie for himself with the group that you love on the front for support.

“what’s this new group? they haven’t debuted yet.”

“oh this member has to be your bias, I just have this feeling because he reminds me of myself.”

tries his best to stream the group you love so that they chart well even if that’s not necessarily a trend anymore to sit and stream. he’ll want to do it for you and their success. he knows you love that.

going to concerts with him will be different and by that I mean because he’s the tallest man there and he also is a famous baseball player. it doesn’t take long for a few people to recognize him at all.

fernando will be the loudest one there. yes, I’ve said it.. he will be louder than the fangirls themselves. he’ll aggressively swing the light stick back and forth and try to sing along with the lyrics.

“I don’t know the korean lines do you know them?”

he’ll start to mumble the korean lines and look around because he doesn’t want to look stupid or embarrass himself and you so he just cheers for the group on stage and claps for them. then maybe sing along to the few english lines that he knows.

fernando will follow or subscribe for all the new news about the idols and groups. if he sees anything quite shocking he’ll immediately text, call, or run to you and tell you about what he just read.

if you have a polaroid of your bias behind your phone.. fernando will recreate that same picture but of himself and make it a polaroid so you then have your bias and your boyfriend fernando.

he’ll become quite obsessed with collecting photo cards and when he travels for baseball games he’ll try his best to find kpop stores around the area to collect more albums for the cards inside of them.

“baby did you know that _______ group has keychains? oh! and I found stickers for you too.”

“I just found stickers of my favorite girl group. I’m going to use those while you use the others.”

fernando will watch episodes that your favorite group puts out with you. even if he’s not the best at reading the subtitles he’ll follow along and laugh when you do or he thinks a part is super funny.

he’ll then become a bit obsessed and ask you when the next episode will come out or ask if you both can watch old episodes he has never seen.

fernando being fernando he’ll make sure you get the tickets for high touch and he’ll come along with you. even saying he can’t believe he was able to give the group members a high five like that.

A journal recording Victor’s growth during the study tour program in France.

What she hid in here is not only memories but also her regrets for not being able to be there to constantly care for him and nag him during the time he was growing up.

[Note: Victor’s mum used to call him “Yan Yan,” which as always, I’ve translated as Vic-Vic~]

He safely arrived in France at noon today. Following the teacher’s instructions, I was waiting at the designated meeting point when I saw him getting off the bus with a big bouquet of carnations in his hands. The teacher said that when they were passing by a florist, Vic-Vic requested to stop briefly and wait for him; he then especially picked out those flowers for me. This adorable little gentleman… did he watch some French romantic movies!

Vic-Vic’s dad said he packed his luggage all by himself for this trip. And sure enough, Vic-Vic immediately opened his suitcase in the living room after we returned home today. Although this little grown-up didn’t say anything, I knew he was probably trying to attract my attention. So, I thought of teasing him a little and deliberately pretended to not see, going about my business as usual.

But to my surprise, Vic–Vic was extremely patient. He just sat there on the sofa and waited quietly. Before long, I couldn’t resist anymore and succumbed in my heart, promptly making up for it by rewarding him with the recognition he deserved. Vic-Vic took out a certificate from his suitcase and presented it to me, saying that he would bring an even better trophy next time. I knew he was trying to tell me through this gesture that he was studying diligently and growing up well. So I hugged him and told him he was truly amazing. But what I didn’t tell him was– “Actually, you are already outstanding in your mum’s heart, and you don’t need these awards as validation.”

We visited a vinyl record store, and I initially thought that at Vic-Vic’s age, he might find this type of music medium too old-fashioned. But he listened attentively to the teacher’s explanations throughout the visit. I asked him if he wanted to buy a vinyl record as a souvenir for himself, and he quickly nodded. Eventually, with the curator’s recommendation, we selected a collection of Miles Davis’ famous tracks.

Sticky Note:

As soon as we got home in the evening, Vic-Vic couldn’t wait to play the vinyl record. I was curious about why he was so interested, and he explained that the unique sound of vinyl records made him feel like he was traveling through time.

I still remember the first time I made pudding for Vic-Vic. With a frown on his little face, he peered at the kitchen countertop and asked me in an earnest tone if we needed to hire a professional cleaner to tidy it up? Just the thought of his deadly serious expression makes me somewhat unable to contain my laughter. I wonder if he will ask the same question again when he sees the kitchen in its current state after waking up?

…in the blink of an eye, you are already leaving for home today. There are many things Mum doesn’t know how to say to you face-to-face, so I’ll just write them down here silently.

As the person dearest to you, I’m truly sorry that Mum can’t always be by your side and witness you growing up. Seeing how sensible you are, Mum feels gratified, but my heart also aches at the same time. If I had been by your side all the time, perhaps you would have been able to be like the other kids, often acting coquettishly and being stubborn with Mum, wouldn’t you…

Regardless of anything, I hope that one day you will understand that no matter where you are, I will always be blessing you, watching over you, and loving you. And also, remember to smile a lot more. Mum absolutely loves the way that smile lights up your face~

P.S. The teacher said that this record needs to be submitted to the school, but Mum is really unwilling to part with these precious memories and give them to someone else. So I lied to the teacher and told them that I accidentally lost the journal…

The II jacket arrived today! 🥰💖

@ghxstly-death here is the ramble/review!:

So there seems to be different weights and feels to different parts of the fabric. Which is. Less nice. In my opinion.

But I am accustomed to athletic wear and the material has a similar feel to most of that. It reminds me of a thinner version of a pair of pants I used to wear all the time.

It feels smoother and nicer than one of my old athletic works shirts that was originally from Walmart. (Idk if they still sell with that brand anymore).

It’s. not the *nicest*, but it’s fine. Right now I feel neutral about it.

The upper portion of the coat (but really I’d probably just wear it as a shirt tbh) is a thicker portion than the rest of it. And I like the feel of it and how it doesn’t feel as if it’s going to snag if one of my rough fingertips passes over it.

The sleeves are maybe a mid weight portion of the fabric.

The flowy dangly bits are probably the thinnest parts: I do prefer the texture of thicker weight fabrics so to me this is the least appealing part of the garment and it feels like maybe it could snag if I dragged my rough fingertips over it.

That being said I think that it was necessary to make the fabric thinner as you go down the garment bc it’s a stretchy polyester and kinda. Sags(?) downwards a bit? I’m not quite sure how to describe it but Like It Wishes To Sink To The Floor a bit? Just that polyester behaviour.

I am. Not entirely sure on how to deal with the strappy parts but they look cool and one of them is the same fabric as the garment and one feels more like one of the straps on a bag that I have. Woven canvas? Idk. Still polyester but. Best description I can come up with is camera bag strap bc it feels very similar to one of the ones we used to have. The clipping mechanism seems very tilted but it works and it kinda makes sense that it would be that way to make it cheaper instead of going through a better built process bc it does the job well enough.

The zipper is not the best quality but it’s fine.

While it is tighter than I would like, it is a stretchy athleisure style of polyester. It does seem to drape better when I wear one of my binders (though I essentially stopped binding at the start of covid to try to protect my lungs god I miss the silhouette and feel.) (shown with binder in left photo)

But I do feel pretty cool when wearing it :)

Trying to describe the feel of fabric: it’s smooth and almost silky but not quite, and it feels less silky and more substantial/woven in the thicker areas?

In comparison to the clothes I wear on an everyday basis, this is not as good quality.

It is however better quality than a shirt I got off Shein before I knew better (but bc it’s one of my few, or possibly only, semi formal goth shirts I still wear it every so often - I wore it at a bachelorette party the first time I wore it.)

Jimin used to be so confident and chic, but now he’s the opposite.

It’s crazy to look at his kitty gang videos to see how nice he was dressed and how confident. He was simply cool. Now at dior he looks lost and uncomfortable. I know this is a new medium and he is doing it by himself for the first time, but I can’t help but think that it’s a downgrade from how he used to present himself.

I know what you mean, but I don't think he's not confident anymore. He still believes in himself so much. I agree overall with what you're trying to say, just that I think the examples you used are not good examples.

Fashion changes and trends change. He used to wear skinny jeans, now he doesn't. Okay. After the pandemic, if you go back and look at BTS at aiports, none of them were trying to look good. Like, in general all of them "downgraded" their style and when they were able to travel again, they all wore very casual clothes in comparison to what they used to wear before quarantine. I don't really care for the skinny jeans but I do wish Jimin would stop wearing a beanie everytime. He has to wear a mask, I get it, but that already covers up all of his face and the beanie covers it even more.

As for kitty gang, that was concert Jimin. I felt like he had a similar energy in the Vegas concerts, but that would be the only time in the recent years.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, but the way he was in his 2021 birthday live was sooo him. Same for every live that came after, but that bday live was one of the first times I remember thinking that was the real Jimin. I always remember what he said in festa 2019, that BTS Jimin was bolder and more confident than the real Park Jimin, that regular Park Jimin was shy and indecisive. He said something along those lines in some of his interviews in 2020 and 2021, too; that he's introspective and introverted.

For me, we've been seeing the real Park Jimin since 2020. None of us can say how that change came to be because we don't know all the details, but I do know that as we grow older our energy naturally subsides, at least for the majority of adults. We're less excitable, less outgoing, we think more, and thinking changes people. I also remember that Jimin said he wasn't okay for like a year after the pandemic, and I think that anyone who pays attention to him noticed that he didn't seem particularly happy or joyful. Not being okay for a long period of time also changes you.

So, yeah. It's true that his energy is not the same. I won't lie and sometimes I do miss the Jimin you're talking about, and I have moments of YOU COULD OWN THE WORLD JIMINNNN ACT LIKE IT!!! Admittedly we're all kind of addicted to this attitude

I believe he could bring it out again, he just needs the perfect situation.

I also really love this Jimin right now anyways because in the end he's always been this humble, soft-spoken, playful, sweet, hardworking and loving person. He's never had any ego at all. We've just been seeing more of it, more of the guy in tracksuits who hangs out with friends at food trucks on the streets.

Hiii here have an update :]

Things are decent, not much going on lately. Still making it to the gym about 3 times a week for lifting, but just recently starting to try to get more cardio and steps haha. Lifting is awesome but I would also like to be losing some fat here and there too lol, can’t forget about that. I at least just want to get enough steps a day but I know cardio is good for your heart and lungs and whatever (grumble grumble) so I want to get some times of higher heart rate once or twice a week to start with.

A couple days ago I also started a bullet journal. I’ve always liked these but never thought I could do one since they always look like works of art and I’m not artistic, don’t have pretty writing, etc. I didn’t want to try it and mess it up or end up not using it because I hated my artwork. But I recently saw a tumblr post about how making bujos like that is great for people who can/like to do that, but originally bujos were made by a guy (Ryder Carroll) who wanted it to be super simple and straightforward. In his Youtube intro video his handwriting is even messy enough that I almost can’t read it at times lol. But I guess a lot of people are like me and get overwhelmed at how we normally see bujos and so we avoid them, but he actually invented the method specifically as a neurodivergent-accessible way to stay organized, apparently in particular for people with ADHD. So that made me feel way better about starting my own. I did watch some other videos of people’s minimalistic spreads which I took from that added to Carroll’s original method, like a habit tracker and a gratitude page, etc. But otherwise it’s really straightforward and all I use is just a graph notebook (I like graph paper over dots hehe), a black pen, and a ruler (not even necessary technically) and that’s it!

This is good for a lot of reasons but I especially want to use it to help me with what I think is going to be a New Year’s resolution - get out of debt! Or at least close to out of it - not sure if I could completely get out if it in just a year. My financial situation is horrendous and embarrassing. Since I started my bujo in December, this month’s financial goals included just not using my credit card anymore, and starting in 2023 I want to plan specifics for paying off my cards and saving a little. With Christmas shopping this month, I couldn’t really start with that stuff yet (even though I’m keeping the shopping minimal this year).

I’d also like to start incorporating a way to meal plan/meal prep with it, but I’ll do that down the line a bit. One thing at a time.

Otherwise things are pretty chill. Concerts petered out after October - had just one at the end of November and we have NONE scheduled for the next THREE MONTHS. This is crazy for us lol. I bet at least one will come up before then though. It’s funny though cuz if not, the last concert I went to was AFI, and the next concert I go to will also be AFI haha. The one that just happened was a regular album tour show; the one that will be in March is a special one-off concert where they will be playing an entire album through “for the first and last time” (Sing the Sorrow, since it’ll be its 20th anniversary). We have to travel down to SoCal for that one too. So unbelievable we even got tickets, I’m so stoked. It’s going to be a special night with the most diehard fans.

Anyway, December is surprisingly an almost plan-less month. Just Christmas and New Years obviously, and we’re having a late combo friendsgiving/secret Santa dinner party at the end of the month too. Enjoying the lull in things before the schedule gets packed again in spring - besides that concert in March, there are already plans coming up around then and onward. I love doing stuff and I also love staying home, so I got a good balance right now lol.

Honestly you're entitled to your opinion. I just don't understand how you think. Cause jkk were obviously fine in April (Vegas), and now since Festa everyone thinks they're not together anymore but then Washington was AFTER Festa and they were hanging out with Jhope and Her as we saw. I'm sorry but if you just broke up with someone (which in this case would be less than two months ago), you won't go out of your way to hang out with them for fun, especially if you're forced to work with them everyday.

Now I understand you're also starting to doubt they ever dated because of car changes? But like, we know they have different schedules now since their solo projects work has already started for a while now. There, explained. Why do some people want them to spend every second of every day together all the time ? Jungkook not knowing about Jimin's tattoo? All the boys know where Jimin's tattoo is, he just realized he wasn't supposed to talk about it cause Jimin hasn't said anything himself.

I just don't understand, at all, where y'all's doubts come from. Literally. Doesn't make sense...

I think you might be confusing what I’ve said with what a few others are saying. I’ll clarify then I have to sign off for a bit—please don’t feel ignored!

1. I’m pretty sure Jikook were an actual romantic couple for years and might still be. Of course without confirmation from them, it could all just be a flirty loving friendship with plenty of fanservice and I’m a clown. But I don’t think so…

2. I became an Army in December (my beloved nana died in the fall and BTS got me through my grief) and then there was a 3 month stretch of radio silence in 2022 from my bias Jimin and it made me worried something was wrong because he was usually on social media way more and JK never mentioned him even when he was rushed to the hospital. I panicked but older Army said to hang tight—and they were right!

3. There was then a period where Jikookers were well fed (White Day, Seoul concert moments, all the Vegas moments—especially the last night). Sometimes their interactions seemed a bit stiff/shy and sometimes JK also had way more flirty interactions with other members on stage but performing is euphoric for them and they all love each other. The Vegas Vlive showed signs of real intimacy—soft tones and touches, personal info only they know about each other, diet and exercise plans exclusive to each other—typical Jikookery.

4. Then silence again. JK embraces insta but only talks about Jimin if asked. Silence even during Jimin’s first OST. Jimin is totally withdrawn during the whole mail “scandal” breaking in the news and maybe JK was just following his lead. Footage of interviews and photo shoots where Jimin barely smiles or speaks and even forgets to bow are jarring. He’s just off. They don’t touch, talk, look at or flirt the way they used to. Okay. Everybody has off days and they’ve been together for years so… no big.

5. Jimin seems cagey and a little sad in the airport. After the White House speech they go out with Hobi for games and food and seem friendly—in those few seconds of clips they appear not flirty but very friendly—clearly okay with each other, having an great time. They get mobbed when back in Korea and travel home separately, then more silence. Separate cars, separate trips, separate activities like festivals and matches—all normal for regular couples, a bit out of the ordinary for a Jikook but hardly a death knell for a relationship.

6. The few times I’ve seen footage of things since Vegas (which honestly could have been filmed any time!) they seem distant. Not angry. Not cold. Not nervous. Distant. Gone is the pink fuzzy warm sweet aura where they always climb all over each other and talk about each other; now it’s polite, professional business. Might be because they were wrestling with the news of their big transition. There are things they can’t fully share with us, I get it.

7. Mostly what makes me wonder if Jikook’s relationship has changed is that I’m seeing old footage and new footage for the first time all at the same time and there’s a shift in tone. Which is normal and natural. But JK initiates plenty of hugs with Yoongi, Hobi and Joon and he’s all over Jin and Tae. Yet Jimin is the one who mostly initiates with JK anything more than a pat on the shoulder. I’m not used to it.

8. There are plenty of instances that are cute moments between JK and Jimin this year but it’s different now. They aren’t stuck together like glue. They don’t know key things about each other (JK’s wanna see my cat joke, friendship tattoo, songs—I cannot tell if not knowing these things was kidding and deflecting or genuinely not knowing these things). They don’t flirt shamelessly. There was a time when JK stared at Jimin constantly, had to be grouped with him, initiated hugs and touches, complimented him, promoted his songs and projects, gave only him gifts, spent tons of downtime with him, was besotted for years, back when we had weekly episodes. That’s been happening less and less (that we can see) since the pandemic. And not at all since Vegas—that I’ve seen. But I’ve barely seen anything. 9. So all these little shifts have led me to ask—not state as fact—if they may just be good friends now. It is not my business and I’ll support them no matter what. They don’t owe me a performance. But I’m not the only one seeing the difference lately. So I’m just asking why JK seems so aloof sometimes and then sweet on Jimin others, why Jimin seems so sad sometimes and so into JK others. I’m curious because we have so little of the full picture and I like distracting myself from my recent health crisis by pondering—not proclaiming with any certainty—what might be going on. It feels a bit like being on a roller coaster, with extreme highs of loud lovey dovey Jikookery and then dips of silence or distance where they don’t really acknowledge each other much. Yet JK isn’t aloof with everyone else. As a newbie, I’m confused. It’s hard for me to get a handle on JK’s love languages and “rules” (totally okay to sit on other men’s laps or kiss their ankles, definitely not okay to help them peel shrimp or share solo songs at the office). I know he teases a lot but I can’t tell how much he means and how much is bratty playfulness. Sometimes he downplays why Jimin is in his videos or the one he seeks out, and it comes across as attachment avoidant. But really wtf do I know? I’m six months old in this fandom. So I like to ask for your perspectives to help guide my interpretation. Sometimes I worry I’m on the spectrum or not understanding cultural nuances here…

But in the end I’ve got to stop talking so much about this because as I said when I began—I don’t have enough evidence to make a judgment about anything, and I may never have enough evidence to know what their status truly is. I think I may be upsetting other fans and I never want to be an asshat. I doubt I’ll arrive at a conclusion by constantly talking about it. But I’m 18 days away from a complete radical hysterectomy to remove endometrial stromal sarcoma cancer so I best get my shit together and stop obsessing about K-pop idols. Now is absolutely the right time for me to just catch up on all original content and celebrate what wonderful moments they do share with us on and off stage. It’s not my relationship. I don’t NEED to know their personal business. I love them and hope they will be very happy and fulfilled. I need to shift focus to only happy things for mental and physical health reasons.

Now I'm back in London, but going to Seoul next week for a few months, because of a job. Which I'm kinda excited for, but also not really ashdhsshshshhsn. Potentially I may move there for longer, but we will see...

As for kpop I'm kinda in and out you know? I actually got into some other artists, so I'm not really up to date with Ateez anymore, it's pretty sad, but they don't really bring me joy anymore. I still love Hwa and check on him from time to time, I miss my hardcore Shinestar era :( but it lasted really long so I'm surprised. Maybe I'll be back one day, unfortunately Ateez's recent releases just don't hit and I'm sick and fucking tired of KQ :/ Buuuuut I've been on the roll with kpop concerts, so I feel like I'm more of an irl kpop enjoyer rather than online one if that makes sense.
