It's getting difficult to pick out what bits to share because on the one hand, I want people to stay curious about what I'm doing. But I also don't want to give up the surprise. What I can do in the meantime is share the intention behind this song comic.

The thing I want to push in this whole thing is how both Ramon and Bullfrog don't see themselves as "human". R has been a puppet for Eden for so goddamn long, and BF has been made to be something Other. We know he's the deliverer of justice, but for anyone outside of the know, he's a terrorist monster, and his public execution was presented as a thing to be celebrated. "Retribution." They've both been reduced to spectacle, and maybe through each other's companionship they're able to find and rediscover the humanity in each other. This may be the only large-scale Rayfrog thing I make until we get a confirmed second season of Laserhawk, so don't expect another thing this big and time-consuming from me again until we see more of these two's dynamic.
