I know I haven't show much of Yumi and Kyojuro's relationship and how they grow together but LISTEN UP IM COOKING SOMETHINGG

I would like to talk about them teehee! At leat about the kids they have

So, these are Yumi and Kyojuro's triplets!! From left to right, Daijuro, Ryojuro and Keijuro!

First son - Daijuro Rengoku (煉獄 大寿郎)

Second son - Ryojuro Rengoku (煉獄 諒寿郎)

Third son - Keijuro Rengoku (煉獄 佳寿郎)

The new additions to the Rengoku Family, Yumi was able to have triplets and this meant a huge addition to the family, ofc they were more than ungrateful for such bliss! The moment the babies were born Kyojuro was already a proud father, willing to do anything to be the best father he can be. Senjuro is really happy for his brother and Yumi ofc, as he is excited for the new additions of the family, specially since he has the oppotunitty to be an uncle and potentially raise the boys too!

Who got the biggest surprise was Shinjuro who was inmediattly curious towards the kid's unusual hair nature. While they had the Rengoku's genes, their hair seemed way to be very different from what Shinjuro was used to, not that it was bad, but it surprised him to see different 'patterns' on his grandchildren. Nonetheless, he was proud of his son and Yumi to be able to have a family after so much pain, willing to be a way better grandparent than he has been to his kids for most of their lives

Kyojuro? He couldn't be any happier, since the day he knew Yumi was pregnant he was excited for the news, getting everything ready and doting on her. And once the newborns were there, he cried freely, knowing that this was going to be a new and big episode of his life, one that he was excited to take as he looked at his offspring's faces and how lifely they already were. He was sure his mother would be so proud of him too!

Yumi was very excited for this new chapter too! She didnt expect triplets althought of the Katagiri's historial of being always a numerous family, but she felt blessed to have 3 children nontheless. She found the Rengoku features on the newborns to be absolutely adorable, even with their big eyebrows she was just so in love with these childs already!

As the kids grew up their personalities showed up too. Keijuro was on the softer side, very similar to his uncle. A kind and gentle soul who enjoyed even the smallest things on life, he grew up drawn towards music

Ryojuro is very energetic as his father, he is more on the playful side, getting bored of things quite quickly and looking out for better ways of entertaining himself, althought he never was super reckless or a troublemaker. Ryojuro also showed to be very affectionate with Shinjuro as a child, and as he grew older it shifted into friendly matches

On the other hand, Daijuro proved to be more adventurous ever since he was a baby, climbing up on anything taller than him and being a true challenge to his parents. Kyojuro panicked multiple times being unable to find Daijuro, and when he would find him, Daijuro would always be on some life-threatening heights for his age, always wondering how he got up there in the first place. Daijuro grew up deeply interested in the Demon Slayer and the famous Flame Breathing althought his parents never allowed him to properly practice it rather than some basics

Since there were no more demons, both Yumi and Kyojuro saw useless to show him the experienced techniques of the family, specially due to the huge amount of investment that had to be done to reach Kyojuro's level. So as a way to cope Daijuro would always try to find adventures outside his home, oftenly getting into trouble on the village, he even scapes to 'uncle' Tengen's house since he sees him as a way cooler despiction of a Former Hashira than his own dad (ouchies, althought this is mainly bc Tengen allows Daijuro to be reckless and face no consecuences for his actions)

On the future, Yumi and Kyojuro have twins but I dont have a design for them yet sooo, it will stay there so far!! Enjoy this edit I made and ty for reading <3

literally everything bad happens to her so much she's so miserable and sad now i love it <3

her moms killed her kittypet bio-mom and raised her to be Prim and Proper (haha get it bcus her mom's name is Primfoot? ...no? okay ill see myself out-) and she grew up when the clan was at war with literally every other clan (every single apprentice in her generation got scarred, some multiple times), and right after the wars stopped, a mass extinction event occured (cant remember what rn) and it killed her mom Rootshade who was deputy (Which is a WHOLE nother story involving cheating and affairs and WHY would you appoint the girl who cheated on ur husband deputy but anyway-), and the leader decided to make HER deputy?? for some reason?? she was just a baby??? (well okay she was 30 moons but still she's baby to me)

anyway she, Squirrelnut, and Hopestem became mates and I love to think that Squirrel and Hope always kept Spotted grounded and from freaking out cause she was so stressed from the pressure from her mom Prim and the responsibilities of being deputy in a clan that just really really likes being assholes and killing kittens. and i think they helped her be less like her mom/the rest of the clan to and try to choose kindness over violence. Hopestem actually got the message that she was a part of a prophecy!!! so i was like "these 3 are gonna make the clan good again"

and Spottedember became Spottedstar and you know the story---mass extinction event after mass extenction event decimated the clan until it was only Spottedstar, Squirrelnut, Skipnight (Hopestem's sister), and their kids. and it's really sad because all those apprentices Spottedstar has listed? most of those are all her kids, and specifically the kids born in "solo litters." Birchheather specifically kept getting injury after injury and didn't graduated until 15 moons, only to immediately die... during training sessions with them there would be messages where it said she didn't train them/did something else aside from training.

she's so traumatized and numb now, i love when horrible things happen

(its also really curious to me that her traits go from "childish" to "oblivious"... why? what's she being oblivious to? ...how evil her clan was? how abusive her parents were? things to think about)

minho does not think twice to buy you something you like. he’ll take you out to cute dates, insisting to pay since he planned them. however, when you’re consistently urging him to let you pay, he will jokingly agree– knowing full well he’d already paid prior to receiving your orders. he’ll always reassure you that he doesn’t care about his money if it’s spent on you!! changbin would honestly get offended you even thought of paying for dinner. he’s aways showering you in little gifts that you cherish forever– but when you want to spoil him a bit it’s a crime? he’ll whine about how he should be the one paying for the dinners, but if it truly bothered you, he’ll let you pay a tenth of the price!! 

hyunjin SPOILS you, his gifts practically flooding the entirety of your home!! he’ll give you extremely pricey gifts that you do love, but his little diy ones are just as perfect. like changbin, he’d get offended by your suggestion, assuring you that he can and will forever pay for you!! but will definitely joke about how if you did pay for yourself, you’d go bankrupt.

jisung will fight you if you ever reject his money. he will make sure your wallet will forever be hidden in crevices of your home, because what type of man lets their beautiful partner pay!! will get all whiny and pouty if you complain about how much he spoils you, so it’s best you go along with it. he appreciates your concern about his income, but jokes about how you should worry about your own (whoops).

felix is such a CUTIE!! his gifts don’t have to be expensive to be the absolute most adorable thing you’ve ever received. will get confused about why you always worry about his money when he willingly spends it on you. is so so reassuring that you, yourself, question why you are worried about what he does with his money. will compromise with you if it truly bothers you (baby </3).

seungmin is always thoughtful about what he buys you; if he can’t express his love using words, then he best do it through gift giving. he will lowkey judge you for attempting to even bring money with you, and will not let his ears listen to your hopeless pleas to let you pay. like minho, he will jokingly agree to let you pay, but his hands are always quicker to snatch the bill (and in general hehe!!). will start reminding you that he willingly pays for you while you’re out. 

jeongin is always taking you out and letting you buy whatever you want, as long as you’re not paying. when you offer to pay for yourself, he definitely goes all “🧐🤨”. he’s very persistent in paying for all your expenses, and is genuinely shocked you feel bad about it. he will always reassure you that what’s his money is also yours!! he just wants to make his partner feel like royalty. if you were really bothered, he would tell you to pay him back with kisses. </3

act 4 has the story bouncing around way more than it did in previous acts. i saw a lot of the exiles today. and a lot of TROLLS! the exiles are so fun today i saw some pm and ar lore and wv pm ar all fought and then they had a meal. and wv and ar are trying to win over pm but she dont care. the WOMEN. panel. so good.

ok so after the celty talk earthworm starts talking about how izaya's been having celty talk to both heaven's slave and gather information on amphisbaena lately

it's just interesting idk. maybe it's showing how things are starting to go how he's predicted, maybe he's just tired of the whole nervous act, maybe he got bored of all the water getting poured on him and fell asleep lmfaoskghkfd

hmm i know ya already knew this one, but i wanna tell it again. i stole one of the spare projectors. n' i took it home cos i wanted to try and set up a little movie night. invited multiple ppl but nobody believed me so it was just me</3

um i ended up causing a small fire but after i put that out i got it workin!!!! saw about 3 minutes of the reel i stole and then got bored. took the reel back but kept the projector.

hmmm. lemme think. i think at some point i was not havin a good day so i started hiding in the back of the warehouse to just get away yknow. lacie found me n she was so nice??? like i usually just annoyed her but she goes "kid, look. ya gotta beat their asses." and like girl..... ur so right..... i'm gonna beat them up.... so anyways i got into a fight

also! when i was rigging the uhh. warehouse games. to the doors? the guys were like "wow for a tiny guy you're capable." so i bit them too. teehee

did the water bucket trick on the music director. tried to run away but slipped on said water. i think thats when he kicked me down the stairs

another one. i visited jack cos i was done early and i didnt wanna go home yet. i go down there and theyre like,, i dont know how to describe it. but i just watched them do this little jig and then they saw me n went. well? you gonna join or what?? so im like. frick yeah ill join. so we grooved for a while until someone started yelling for me fkebdjeb

miss susie did my makeup once! but i moved too much and she was just. WALLY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SIT STILL. but it tickled it wasnt my fault it felt weird ok. anyways i was literally killing it afterwards. shes really good at makeup. and putting up with me cnsvhf

sorry it has to do with the friggin mechanic. but its funny. so like after the whole Welder incident he just. stopped trusting me to do things alone so any time i had to help him (I HATED HELPING HIM) he was just watching the whole time like >:[ and saying no. youre doing this wrong. youre turning the wheel the wrong way. THEN YOU DO IT YOURSELF. anyways after a while of that shawn appears out of NOWHERE, drags me outta there, sayin "we gotta put my plan into action theres NO time to explain." and she had a "sled" (a bunch of wooden planks crudely attatched to eachother) set up at the top of the stairs and i couldnt even object before they just. put me on this thing and kicked us both off. i fell off immediately but shawn didnt realize i fell off til she was at the bottom of the stairs. THEY SET UP LITTLE SLINGSHOT THINGS TO HELP EM GET AROUND THE TURNS OF THE STAIRS. thomas catches up like "what the f man" and im just listening to the distinct sound of thunkthunkthunkthunk as the thing keeps goin. i get dragged back to work just as norman started scolding shawn 😔

anyways, quick summary about jackie.

Jackie went through a lot in his living years! going through the 50s to the 80s as a black man in the uk certainly was something! He used to be a genuine sweet and caring kid and now he still cares but hes very jaded by the world. He used to be part of the british black panther party and he has many opinions bout stuff and politics! but he has quited down quite a bit after his embrace.

he has a bit of a shortfuse cuz folk keep threathening him and hurting him so he is quite defensive. sadly he does not have the brains to see yet that he himself also hurts people and he should be a bit nicer to folk sometimes!

He cares tons about his friends and those who he considers fam. he does not enjoy seeing folk get hurt but.... if push comes to shove he will always choose himself. hes all he has. and all he can rely on and nobody is worth destroying himself over. atleast he'd like to think that. he does however often finds himself choosing his friends over himself and he hates it.

EHHHH FASHION WISE. He basically runs a GIANT company called SALMON which both makes ready to wear as haute couture. he is not the sole designer of it al. but he is most well known. he is a bit of a control freak with his company (not much better outside it either) so he will pick up more work than he should resulting in him always stressing about something.

nope to both my birth name and chosen name! my motivation behind picking the name miles was that it 1. had the same first initial as my birth name and 2. PEOPLE COULD ACTUALLY SPELL IT LMAOOO

2. when was the last time you cried?

i graduated college last weekend and i dont know if id consider it a Full Cry because all i did was tear up but when i gave my favorite professor a hug after i went onstage i was screaming and crying and throwing up on the inside

3. do you have kids?

nope!

4. do you use sarcasm a lot?

yeah but in a lighthearted way! im a goofy guy but i dont ever want my jokes to come off as too mean spirited

5. what sports do you play/have you played?

HELP im so shit at sports 😭 my hand eye coordination and depth perception are both awful so im not good at any of them… when i was in the 3rd grade my mom put me in cheerleading and i had such bad social anxiety as a kid that when it was my turn to cheer i would just CRY. it makes for a funny story though

6. what’s the first thing you notice about other people?

ooh this ones tough. uhhh it depends on the situation i first meet them in but generally their voice and speech patterns? when i was a kid i didnt inflect a lot (autism.) so i had to “study” other people… i think that’s kind of a holdover from that ?

hmmm. depends on what mood i’m in and also how well its written!

ooh lets see. i like researching unused content and the effects of glitches in video games (lifelong special interest. teehee) in addition to, well. actually playing the games. i used to draw a lot more (if you’re reading this and you followed me from my furry twitter: I’m Sorry) but i’ve shifted a lot of my creative energy towards writing (check out my tycutio fanfiction) and graphic design (i need to post some of my stuff here… my senior project was sims 2 themed even)

i do! we got my dog daisy (lab mix) when i was really little, and she’s 15 now!

sorry it took me ages to get around to this (shakes fist at life in general) but here i am with some trademarks of your art!! obviously i think of your extremely feral scrunkly lady noire as a trademark but you already know how much i love her heeheehee!!

i think what makes her feel so scrunkly though is the way you use lines - your lineart is both clean and sketchy at the same time, like every line feels deliberate and as though it's been put down very carefully to create a specific effect, but it's also full of energy and a life of its own! like the lines have just jumped from pen to page and it's so impressive that you can make your lineart feel carefully crafted, effortless, and wayward all at the same time!!

however having just rambled about lines you also do amazing lineless work!!! i really love your style when you use blocks of colours but because you choose the tones so carefully and place them so precisely it doesn't feel blocky! it feels smooth and natural and effortlessly minimalist despite requiring a lot of talent!! hmm...maybe your trademark is how effortless your art feels despite using complex techniques and obviously requiring a lot of careful thought? because that's definitely something i notice regardless of style!!

another big characteristic of your art for me is Fashion - not only are you able to put incredible looks together, but your art style really reminds me of the sketches fashion designers make!! (i think i mentioned this before and you said you wanted to be a fashion designer as a kid so it makes sense!!)

also in terms of specific features - a mask that looks like two parts that *just* meet in the middle is definitely one of your trademarks!! also girls with 50s pin up vibes!! oh and That Outfit with the stripey shirt and trousers/skirt with a patch (with big stitches...kind of like your lady noire!! was it inspiration??)

i feel like i could babble on about your art trademarks for a long time because you use lots of different styles and they're all unique to you and have their own individual trademarks!! your art is just very special imo!! *cradles it protectively in my hands*

WAHHH IM SORRY i'm working on his backstory i promise.... but so far what i have is uuhhh. he's steven's childhood best friend, and would stick together with him during his journey. he comforted him a lot after miki died. he's kinda like a safe haven for steven :]

4. How did your s/i feel when they first met your f/o(s)? How do they feel about them now?

they met when they were kids, and jasper admired steven and miki for their strength, while steven admired jasper for his kindness towards both people and pokemon. they always together, and if one was there, the other was never far!

jasper was heartbroken after seeing the state that steven was in after his beloved pokemon had died, but wanted to help in any way that he could, and still loves him even after everything he did. it's still his steven, after all.

7. Give us 3 random facts abt your s/i!

ohh alrighty

-his eyes used to be more bright and blue-ish, but became dark grey

-jasper's starter pokemon was an eevee! he named it reo, and later evolved it into a vaporeon

-jasper likes playing with steven's hair sometimes, it helps him calm down if he's nervous or upset

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)

depends on if the characters asymmetrical but generally dont have problems with either + i flip my canvas to check for inconsistencies. forward is weird because depending on character design its either super easy or a nightmare (ie any characters who were never meant to be viewed facing forward)

(next one was a text doozy so making this a read more!)

3. What ideas come from when you were little

this ones gonna be weird bc i dont think i can be sure on a lot of these lmao

bio/zoology + monster stuff definitely came from childhood interest, i likea tha critters :) i wanna say my interest in bots/mechs + funky inanimate object stuff too? i did play metal slug a lot as a kid and a bunch of childhood favs were mechanical characters. also ive found fanart of putt putt, captain underpants villains, and the brave little toaster in my childhood journals lmao

oc -wise, selena herself (and vicks) also are funny in their own ways. i can say for sure they were always distinct ocs in my mind but i never actually Materialized them till very very recently. selena was based on a childhood pokemon trainer oc (but noot entirely self insert? its hard to describe) and vicks is kind of. a catharsis character for me. i have been thinking about making an entirely split oc from vicks recently bc the character i view in scenarios i want to visualize has been vicks, but i dont really wanna anymore bc she deserves to be her own deal now

...i also would argue probably the reason why mws huge cast + me just being able to. establish how they interact with each other so quickly also came from childhood ocs i never put down on paper or knew how to articulate as characters. its something im very weird about bc i straight up had a "cast" of fundamental ocs (proto-selena was one of them actually) from childhood to high school that were so personal to me i never wrote or visualized any of them bc Crinj they were just for lil ol me lmao. they liked to hang out with each other :)

finding connections between my fixation on my current characters and stuff i thought about as a kid is a thing i think about a normal amount teehee

9. What are your file name conventions

stupid and goofy but still understandable to infer what it is for personal stuff, labeled straight for work stuff. "sketchbook" files have scratchpad in the name, pieces that include characters that arent my own usually include the persons username, and annual based stuff have the year

i like to be sillay but also i am a freak about keeping my files organized lmao

19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)

sid industrial machinery is really fun for me, buildings tend to be too basic and geometric for me to enjoy drawing... i wanna do more extremely stylized furniture and prop stuff (i really like those drawings that are character inventory layouts), i actually do wanna make fake object assets for my settings eventually bc i love that kind of stuff. bottles and containers are aesthetically pleasing but havent figured out rendering the sweet spot ive seen other drawings hit, at least for me

environments are something i wanna do bc those pics of super expansive landscapes with either huge structures or so open you can see the horizon stretch for miles are really cool, but still in the general learning process so itll be a while before i can even try reaching for that effect

22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any

:)

i sometimes do a little wrist wriggle or crack it a bit, or ill wring my arm/shoulder, but unless my arms got a weird feeling i dont really do too much...

i squeeze both my biceps with my hands too sometime bc thats actually where i normally experience soreness from drawing
