hello everyone. me again. cowboygame time.

context needed for the post: previous posts about arthur + john, and also that the dad that runs the gang theyre in is named dutch, and their other dad whos been with dutch the longest + was the most like an actual parent to them is named hosea

ANYWAYS! today i consider. being your fathers' son.

its like. interesting and compelling to me that arthur and john are definitely Dutch's Sons. plucked from orphanhood and moulded in his shape and ideology and have been with him and his gang family for decades by the time u meet them in the games. dutch puts a big emphasis on Family and commitment, and you see it in arthur and his dedication to the gang and you see how john crumbles under that weight and how him having left the gang for a year irreparably damaged his relationship with arthur. like they Are Dutch's kids. and dutch is not a nice man.

and arguably arthur and john arent nice either. but they are kind. they bite at each others tails and can be real assholes to people, including people they love, but they know when to be gentle. they know who is undeserving of ire and they know when to put down their ego. maybe not necessarily when it comes to each other but they still have moments between the bickering when they can offer "i owe you" "you will keep owing me" "thank you" "of course".

they learned this through dutch, this instinctual rise to any challenge. but it's lucky that theyre also Hosea's sons....... hosea taught them to read (alongside dutch), was a gentler and more grounded figure in their life. he's a cheat and a conman but hes Not dishonorable and he's genuinely shown to be very kind and good with kids and he cares for his boys as real kids he never got to have.

hosea is shown to be the level-head that balances out dutch's neuroses. he fights against dutch's more wild decisions. hes taught his sons to respect dutch but still question. hes the oldest in the group (dutch's senior by like. 10 years i believe. theyre both 40-50) and he didnt get that old being stupid. hes the robin hood w/ the golden heart. a former actor with love lost who's gone too far down this road with dutch to ever look back but doesnt look forward blindly.

and hosea spends so much time agonizing over his youngest son not thinking. thats the common gripe w/ john, that hes emotional and acts out blindly and he just doesnt think. contrast him to arthur who has at this point spent 20 years of his life being dutch's muscle. but hes got kindness at his core. he begins to question. hes a protector, hes an artist, hes tired. john questions because it fits wrong, arthur questions because death brings clarity. they are opposites here. john more like dutch who questions from the start and arthur more like hosea who only really starts to act after hes already a slow-boiled frog. arthur is compartmentalization to johns bleeding rage.

and when you look at them together. at how they react to each other. ESPECIALLY in the start, when johns rejoined them but arthur is still angry and hurt... on the surface its that john broke the first thing dutch taught them. loyalty. traitors dont come back. leave and youre dead to us.

but then the hurt of john LEFT the family. john's fear was more powerful than his love for his family. arthur was left behind. (and then why was he allowed back? why were exceptions made?) and THEN its that arthur had a kid, and while he wasnt more than friends with the kids mother, he didnt get a chance to watch the kid grow up to an adult. he helped coparent until one day he found them both dead and murdered. and john was willing to throw it ALL away + he hasnt made much effort to do better since coming back. the theme of the story over both games is feeling like they dont Deserve second chances. that there Are no second chances. there is no redemption. and yet john is given second chances, hes given chances at redemption, even if the rug is pulled. and arthur spends the last year of his life trying to redeem 35 odd years spent "wrong" to him. and his last chance is to make sure that his brother can, at least.

i just really like that it feels like a neat little bow. that arthur likes hosea better between the two. that they had hosea. that it comes full circle on both sons characters. that theyre ultimately flawed people trying to do good. a perspective they have because of hosea, even after he dies, in spite of dutch being hellbent on destroying their lives

ok jjk 221 lets get into it

mixed feelings on the unboxing. it was hilarious how unserious they all were and i didn't actually care that much because i love seeing all of them together <3 shoko <3 momo <3 kirara <3 maki <3 miwa <3 hakari <3 hana <3 lowkey i missed inumaki too. twas nice!! but the tone shift was really weird, i was hoping it would be more high stakes than that and it really feels like theyre going back to the 'let gojo handle it' mindset which. feels very much against the point considering the last thought we had from him before the culling game was 'i have faith in all of them.' its like nothing has changed since then.

it's also really weird that nothing has really been said about tengen. all of their actions have been pointing towards them being very untrustworthy and on their own side, and it just so happened that their goals at the time aligned with yuki and co's, but there's just been nothing. it feels very anticlimactic. they knew that gojo could have possibly died upon being unsealed and said nothing, they could've ended the culling game at the beginning and said nothing. like it goes back to yuki getting really mad at them back in ch 201 i think and then just going along with the plan and dying. it feels like there's no point, no fanfare, nobody cares about the really important parts. it feels like tengen's existence was unimportant and pushed aside despite their actions and existence being the reason (or helping the reason) why jujutsu society is so shitty?? idk if this makes a lot of sense but even their conversation with kenjaku in the last chapter... it just feels like tengen means nothing. that's annoying. but anyway

gojo's unboxing was so unserious but i hoped maybe he would go a little berserk when he was actually out. the ripped jacket was cool and i wish gege kept it, that wouldve fucked so hard but he's still suffering the disease of making his men buff when they shouldn't be :/ whatever i guess. up until sukuna showed up it really did seem as if he was going to go berserk which i was so here for!!! especially since the angel was kind of hyping it up. alas it was not to be 😔 which is annoying!!! at least we got a your mom joke? but anyway!! im glad at least gojo vs sukuna is happening first because its not as if kenny really wanted to fight him anyway unless some bullshit with their technique happens like last time with yuki. which would be stupid. but also im not sure how i feel about this upcoming battle though. it would tie back to the 'six eyes and ten shadows killed each other in the past' but one, it feels way too soon for that, and two, i think with the way gojo said 'you? a loser that had to run away from yuuji?' is hinting towards another conflict between sukuna and yuuji. i have many thoughts about this and i'll probably derail later so let's bookmark it here *

gojoken fight would be kind of stupid because if theyre leaving it all to gojo (😐) he would probably just one-shot them. realistically. yuuta coming to fulfill his promise to kill gojo's best friend for him would feel better personally because then his words would actually hold weight lmao and maybe he'll die too!! if gege is continuing his pattern of getting rid of the special-grades (unless he's only getting rid of the adult special-grades which is 😐but whatever!!!) yuuta doesn't really serve a purpose in the story rn anyway besides being gojo's temporary replacement so it wouldn't be a pointless loss either. especially if such a fight would show gojo that his students dont need to depend on him and they have grown in his absence. like he had faith in them to when he first got boxed!! though in that case maybe yuuta's death wouldn't be the best way to express that. unless kids like hakari and maki picked up the slack. idk. my thoughts are a mess rn bear with me here 🙏

* ok so in the last panel too gojo says that he'll win and sure, he could, because sukuna's not even at full strength yet. it makes me wonder where the other five fingers are since if they kill each other wouldn't it be a little pointless if sukuna was missing some fingers? you'd have to get rid of the rest of him through yuuji and that would be stupid. bookmarking this for later also * but anyway!! the game is changed now since sukuna has the ten shadows technique and knows how to use it better than megumi can so theres likely a real chance gojo would get hurt. maybe he'll even lose an eye this time and live to tell the tale considering hana and inumaki got to live (but then again are they really characters in the story anymore? 💀) if he did get hurt that would make it easier for a students vs kenjaku fight to take place as well

and about yuuji. sukuna's not 'running' from yuuji because he's scared but i'm sure that he's wary at least. there was that comment: 'right, this brat is from back then...' which was ambiguous in its meaning (im pretty sure he was saying 'this brat has been strong since back then [pre-sukuna]' or something like that but the possibility of some heian stuff going on is equally interesting!! and weird!!) but yeah. and its not as if being trapped in yuuji was a very convenient place to be anyway. gojo was probably just taunting him saying he was running from yuuji but he is wary of him at least!! especially since he's so sturdy or whatever. so i hope that between gojo vs sukuna someone gets hurt or dies because i think another fight between yuuji and sukuna would be a nice wrapping up. yuuji's active involvement with jujutsu started with sukuna and it would be cool to end it with him, too

not only that but there's also the whole 'if you die i'll kill you' 'so start by saving me, itadori' 'i have a few suggestions about how we can save fushiguro' thing thats going on between yuuji and megumi. we all know it so i guess i won't say it but that's more fuel for the sukuna vs yuuji fight right

* i think gojo is going to lose. if not against sukuna then he's going to lose against something. i'm torn between not feeling great about 'leave it all to gojo' and the adults' feelings that kids shouldn't have to take on adult problems but i think he's going to lose against someone and then the kids will fight so we can have both perspectives? the confidence with which he says 'i will win', the history between six eyes and ten shadows, the one-eye imagery in official arts combined with the weird timing and tone of his unboxing feel like they're spelling defeat but i'm just wondering how it's all going to tie in. like what order are these events going to happen? who's going to do what? how's this going to play out? which isn't even theorizing that's just waiting for the next chapter to come out kldehwjakfdjzhs since gege has dashed all my hopes and expectations. don't even know whos going to die anymore. but whatever!!

Hello, I was unsatisifed with a lot of background things happening in DN and the way PD wrote them, and here are the two main things i wanna share with you: pregnancies and worldbuilding (?).

Tbh, i was a bit sad, angry and pissed off with the way PD handled pregnancies in the DN series. For a series that's so "forward", "not following the crowd", and "make rules for themselves", these characters are all always so stuck in the past even when they shouldve already moved past THAT past. EVERY DAMN COUPLE had to have children, and somehow, outsiders' opinions of their relationships, even after getting together, still mattered a LITTLE BIT TOO MUCH. Understandable that some opinions could affect them because how could they not, no matter how much they wanna say they wanna do whatever they want, they still live in a society, and that society is the highly judgemental, political, and corrupted town, Thunder Bay. Considering that they still have feelings and could be affected by hate comments etc., they just cannot always act like it didnt affect them, like the way rika thought michael would leave her because she couldnt get pregnant and how that also relates to her "worth" as a woman, especially in a heavily judgemental society like TB, where even when a lot of them wre "progressive", a big part of the community were still holding up to traditional values of what women are, should be, should do etc. They're not living in some wonderland or some shit like that, ok fine, BUT what i dont understand is how these opinions wouldve affected them so much even after getting together for YEARS, and even worse, they just never really communicate about them, butthen they fight, fuck, and just got over it as if every thing is fine all over again. So whats the point of that dramatic infertility announcement in conclave then? Stupidity!

Every time we got something good for the characters' progression, PD always had to ruin it by regressing the progress of their characters, and worse, these characters don't even talk about what they want or expect from each other in their relationship. Not one, even KaiBanks, the seemingly "most mature" couple in thes series. The immaturity of these couple were on another level! This was one of the aspects of DN that unsatisfied me the most. I HATED how reductive PD made pregnancies and child planning look in DamonWinter's story. Like they have a litter of children, while being emotionally, mentally and financially irresponsible adult themselves, and ijust couldnt enjoy any kind of child-related things in this series honestly. Not even WillEmmy! Why cant we just have couple who take their times to get to know each, settle down everything first, then be fucking mature adults and plan their future together? This "reckless live to the fullest" sounds so bonkers, because it doesnt involve the horsemens and their wives anymore, theyre bringing their kinds, who are INNOCENTS (!) into this world and lifestyle without thinking about it further. The only person who had put a thought (even a little bit) towards this issue was Will and that says a lot because he wasnt even always sober before Nightfall! It was clear even when he wanted Emmy in his life, and his implied thought rpocess of taking revenge on her, that he couldnt just force her to live his lifestyle, or even bear his kids, because it's not just gonna be Willemmy anymore, it's now WillEmmy + their kids + their nephews and nieces + the others now. Everyone's live couldve been on danger and some innocent couldve suffered. Because of this, I feel like DamonWinter are just so immature and selfish as a couple and parents because its always about what THEY want, but not what the CHILD needed (before winter got pregnant), like they never really thought things through in a longer run, and feeling everything and having fun, is all they cared about at the moment. Damon never really thought about building skills and get a job like a mature responsible adult and partner until Winter reminded him, and im just so done! I love that that Damon's hater ask pointed out his incompetency because i so agree with them, and i think this is one of the aspect of his (and others') incompetency. They just think like children, and they do not have the maturity of a grown adult who has to work with others around them, it's insufferable! On the other hand, i also think thats why each of them were writter so diffrent yet similar with one another because they needed this balance. Not evryone has to be the same, as an individual, they had their weaknesses, but as a family, theyre perfect for each other.

As for my other own personal in depth unsatisfying feeling about the pregnancy aspect of this series, i just cannot stand to read rika's big ass meltdown about her infertility in conclave, and this does not come from a place of lack empathy about her situation, rather it's because of the way PD wrote it. In fact, i was FUCKING LIVID with the way PD was so quick to just label Rika as the one who was infertile, when there were no medical checkups done on Michael, as if the responsibility or for a lack of a better term, "fault" for infertilities all lies on the shoulder of the women-here, and it's Rika. Sure, her period cycle was fucked yada yada yada, but from the start, i always read it with an implication that it's rika who had to deal with all that pain and shame, and this is definitely a heavy blame on the writer because PD couldve literally balance it out with michael's possibility of being the one who was infertile instead, or made rika said something to michael about doing body checks or checkups as a married couple, but PD. NEVER. DID. God! This was why that whole infertile thing was so infuriating to me. Also, If PD already knew that rika was already handling with so much responsibilities with people around her, why on earth would they put more stress on rika's shoulder? Rika was in college (probably full time and on her last year, yeah), so she probably had a lot of things to prepare for, then she had the fane empire business to take care of, the mayor election campaign, being an NBA's star's partner making time in her pact schedule for michael (she's probably gonna have to be dealing with a lot of press not just for her main job, but also for this NBA thingy too), travelling from one place to another for college and business, oh and she's a fencer, works at the dojo, a local town campaigner, a sister who checks up on everyone etc. so why the hell would preganancy at the age of 22, mind you, would be so important when she already had so much on her plate, and she hasnt even reached her mid-twenties yet? It's FOMO, but the way PD wrote it made it felt so weird to me, and it shows rika's immaturity (understandably so) of dealing with sensitive issues that a lot of women around the world had to go through, instead of a woman who we could sympathise or empathise with for going through all of this at 22. And that's the thing, Rika was already dealing with a lot, didnt even really talk to michael because she was worried for his career (but she could talk to KAI OF ALL PEOPLE and damon? Huh?), and now PD just had to put some unnecesaary implied cheating drama and stupid plot about infertility here? For what? For the drama? The infertility conversation didnt get solved with sensitivity or further couple planning, it just went over their head, and suddenly, OF FUCKING COURSE RIKA HAD A MIRACLE BABY BEFORE SHE TURN 33, OMG SHOCKING!!! I'm so tired reading these books with suden pregnancy tropes, because a lot of authors just cant write this trope very well, so it always comes off immature, romanticised and insensitive to others. Some people dont even enjoy reading this trope for whatever reason that is, so this plotline just ruins their story further. I just can't stand the silly logistics of it all. Like Miss Girl, you're 22, sit down! Rika couldve used that time to built her skills to be a good aunt, a competent political debater, a businesswoman AND a politician so that she could be an amazing women figure in their family for herself and others, and then run the Fane empire and the mayor thing slowly so we can see her like Banks' short scene in nightfall's epilogues dealing with some political stuff, but noooo, it all just happen at once and we're supposed to but that? Like she doesnt even have the BASIC SKILLS to run a town, why dont PD start from there first? I think if she was given more trainings and drills, she can make a great politician in the future, but unfortunately, we never got to see that.

And that's the thing, even if rika IS the town's sweetheart, what kind of town, with the majority of people there being people with high profiles, political connections and corruptions, would just listen to this 22 year old girl preaching about "kindness" when all she did, was just being family to a bunch of similarly privileged new adult pranksters with a history of crimes and "not fitting in" with the rest of the crowd? Do they not understand how political agenda or advertising work? Thats not how politics and organised systems work! If i was a resident in Thunder Bay, rich as fuck i couldve bought almost anything in this world like (Gabriel Torrance), i would not even pay a single mind to rika or the horsemen, in fact, i would usurp her position and gang up with some other locals in town, just for fun, to piss the them off. Like What happens to voting systems? It just doesnt make sense. They treated the town's safety and mechanisms like it's a child's play and not some serious and dangerous political business that requires working with so many people from so many different industries so that a town could work fine. Every time rika opened her mouth to talk to her workers or people in conclave, i swear i throwed up a bit in my mouth because of how cringy it was. That Ninja comment by Damon was even cringier. If PD wanted to convince us with this IT Thunder Bay couple of the successful Michael, the NBA player and the own sweetheart Rika, the TB Mayor + business owners couple bullshit, they gotta make it make sense you know. I GAGGED when they threw that engagement party in kill switch, then damon dissed them thinking "what the fuck is this all" because that was the first time ever that i agreed with damon lmao! It's really not on rika at this point, i noticed, PD was just always shit at writing logistics, because they're a very idealist writer. As long their idea works, nothing else matter and that's why, all these important logistics seem to fly out the window in their every. damn. book. in this series. And somehow they always got their redemption arcs and turned out to be Mary Sues and Gary Stus by PD, even Damon! Oh, please! Anyway, I just know by now that if i wanna enjoy PD's books (aside from birthday girl), i gotta turn off my thinking hat so that it wouldnt ruin my fun of reading their books. (Don't even get me started with Alex's jobs because aside from MichaelRika, Alex's was the most unbelievable among them all, but one thing i liked about her story was that she was childless, like YESSS GIVE US SOME RICH SUCCESSFUL AUNT CHARACTERS yk). PD did a great job at the fall away series, the hellbent series, and birthday girl's worldbuildings though, so maybe they should just stick to writing about middle class suburban characters who just mind their own business, and not high profile people who's about to rule the world.

Hellllloooo! I’m laughing because you said “background things” so I was expecting things that happened in the background plots but then you listed worldbuilding, which to me is pretty significant. I don’t know why, but that got a chuckle.

I mean, to start with, I think I agree with you on most of your points. For me personally, this is not a series that’s meant to be dissected and analyzed to the degree at which we’re doing it. Once you start pulling at strings, it all comes crashing down. Our MCs are all “morally gray” but for the “right reasons”. They always get what they want and always come out on top. When I go into their world, I try to turn off my head and just have fun. I find that’s when I enjoy it the most.

But yeah. I’ve thought out it in terms of “what in the world is this. This wouldn’t work.” and I've ranted about it plenty too.

Re: the pregnancy the issues you brought up - I also didn’t like that everyone had kids at the end. I didn’t take issue with the lack of planning, but that could just be me. I also didn’t mind that none of them chose to remain childless. I feel that most people grow up knowing they’re going to be parents, or at least get to that point in early adulthood. It’s not so much a question of if, but more of when and who with? And I think the latter is the most important question to answer. I’m happier knowing that these people had already committed to each other before having children.

I was upset because CC introduced the idea that Rika and Michael couldn’t have children of their own. I was intrigued with the idea that this couple, the first couple we followed, wasn’t going to get everything they wanted. So much as worked out for them, but this big thing…that’s being withheld? I was intrigued with where this was going to go. I would have been super happy if M&R had committed to the idea of being childless and focused on other aspects of their very full lives (as you brought out) and then Aaron came along. I would have even been happy if, after Rika voiced her concern, Michael calmed the situation down and reassured her in some way. His immediate reaction seemed to confirm the reasons why she didn’t tell him in the first place, not to mention his reaction to her confiding in Kai (are you not all family? Doesn’t she get to have as strong a bond with him, as with any of the others? Why does he get all your suspicion? It’s hardly fair.). But if he said he didn’t care about any of that, he just wanted her and their lives, whatever came at them without going to the other extreme first, then I could have dealt with them adopting. I didn’t like how Athos came into their lives though; just so perfectly plopped into their laps.

Basically, I wanted to see Rika and Michael struggle. Or know that they struggled and got through it together, before getting everything they wanted. But it was all handed to them and that made me mad. It also upset me that it felt like the message was “a child will fix a marriage” or “children are needed for a happy family”. There didn’t seem to be any creative thought for what a family could look like.

I personally didn’t have a problem with Damon having a big family. Honestly, that makes the most sense to me. Though at the end, with Emmy, it did feel like a rush to fit all of the couples having at least one child, but then that also kind of makes sense. Will was 27 by the time Indie was born. He’s not a young parent by any means, and all his friends already had children. If he wanted his kids to grow up with them, then he didn’t have time to wait. I also think when you consider the age gaps with Kai and Banks kid’s (11 and 5) and Will and Emmy’s kids (9, 5, and a mystery but still young), then they probably did some planning. And they probably didn’t have to do as much planning as you’d think. They’re financially secure and own their company. Money isn’t an issue for them. They live in a small town and their kids will go to private school, so picking a good neighborhood isn’t necessary. They live around extended family and have hired help, so who’s going to watch the kids in case of an emergency is settled. The only thing they’d really have to think about is raising children, knowing the kind of enemies they’re going to have, but there’s always risks to anything involving children, so it’s either do or don’t. What I liked was that they were committed to being parents. It didn’t just happen and now they have a kid they didn’t want or an unexpected, unhappy accident. That would have been sad.

I mean, I agree that they should have thought it through before becoming parents – it seemed for the narrative that Banks and Winter were sort of…surprised to be pregnant? Like they didn’t think it could happen or was going to? (And wasn’t Winter also on birth control when she became pregnant with their second? Or am I making things up again??) But who knows, maybe they did discuss it and we didn’t get that part of the story.

None of the guys thought about getting jobs; privilege gives you that kind of freedom. Michael only wanted to be a pro-athlete. The others didn’t even know what they wanted to go to school for. Kai figured it out in prison when he had no choice, Damon thought he was going to inherit his father’s empire, and Will probably thought he was going to work for his grandfather in some capacity. Or travel until he couldn’t anymore. All of them were immature.

I thought Rika said she went to the doctors, but I could be wrong. Not picking up CC for that. Anyway, I didn’t pick up on Rika accepting the blame of infertility. I think society places a lot of responsibility on the woman to bear children, so it didn’t strike me as odd that she would assume she was the problem. This is probably something a lot of women go through and might have felt relatable to some readers. And I have no desire to be a parent, so the level at which she was distraught over telling Michael didn’t hit with me, but I assume for someone who does want to be a parent, Rika’s reaction and handling of the situation might also be relatable. No idea. And when people are so wrapped up in their emotions, their reactions to things aren’t always right. I just know how I would have liked the situation to be responded to when emotions calm down, and I didn’t get that. So ...

Rika and Michael’s communication and trust issues, especially around Kai, are one of the issues I brought out in another ask. They really need to get those sorted out; it was getting ridiculous.

Overall, the first time I read CC, I got the impression that the infertility issues might have been something PD brought in from their real-life experiences. Maybe not them personally, but someone they knew, served as the inspiration (But that is just a guess and I have no way of knowing. I could be completely off). And then at the end, they wanted Rika to have a child, so we got Athos. Later, it all works out for them and Rika gets to experience pregnancy, so we get Aaron.

It’s one of those things that yeah… it can happen in real life. But should it happen in this story? Does it add or take away something? I felt this plot point took away something from the story.

As far as Rika becoming mayor, this point had me scratching my head and laughing because yeah…she was still in college, or recently graduated, and she has all those other responsibilities on her plate. I mean, I don’t really care about her age. I’d look to Parks and Recreation, because wasn’t Ben mayor of his town at like…18 or somethin? But then he was bad at it because of inexperience. So yeah, Rika becoming mayor and then being good at it felt like overkill, for reasons you said: other members of community, more mature and experienced members, would be going that position of power, and also, she would be inexperienced in that sort of leadership role.

Which is why I always assumed she got the position through intimidation. Specifically through the Torrance’s name. Say what you’d like about Damon, I wouldn’t want him breaking into my house to “earn” my vote for Ms Fane. And let’s not get started on Bank’s taking control of Gabriel’s empire. Banks and Damon totally got anyone who challenged Rika to back down, and then pushed her into position so that they could all control the town and do what they wanted.

So Rika standing there and gaslighting herself “we’re not really criminals” is hilarious to me. Yes. Yes, you are. You are a criminal. You will be a corrupt mayor. Just because it’s “for the good of the town” and not just yourself doesn’t mean what you’re doing isn’t shady and corrupt. But sure, keep lying to yourself.

I don’t remember the Ninja comment but I’m sure it was cringe and I’m choosing to forget it.

But like I said, this series was just supposed to be fun. We’re not meant to think deeply and make sense of it. Just turn off your brain and enjoy the ride. Anything more than that, and starts to fall apart.

thoughts abt the sk8r kids:

tiara is at the park most days after school. someone from her family is always with her, but they usually just chill nearby doing their own thing if she’s with the teens. sometimes she goes to the roller rink instead and takes classes. everyone hypes her up and encourages her and its kind of more babysitting than hanging with a friend, but shes a fun kid so they like seeing her.

calvin will either be in The Zone with his board or just spends the day chilling with basil. one time dog found half a pack of bicycle cards on the ground so now a lot of the time he and calvin will sit to the side just playing cards (with full decks tho). dog also is usually just Chilling but he’s more eager to spend time with his board or scooter when people are around.

bebe does a little bit of everything and she Will be the best at it. not in a “crush the competition” way, but in a “not satisfied with herself until she accomplishes this” way. shes pretty energetic and likes putting together friendly competitions with her friends. bebe and dog are both pretty close with fleet, but they two dont hang out a lot on their own.

basil works at a skate shop down the street and hes like. the designated “responsible adult” (barely). they dont really get on any of the teens for not wearing their gear but they still give the warning that all it takes is breaking your face once to regret not wearing a helmet (knowingly, from experience). fleet is convinced his face can’t break. bebe sees it as a challenge. dog doesnt really care either way, but he’ll put a helmet on more times than not.

fleet accidentally pulls everyone into learning abt magic by mentioning his lessons and everyones like woaa can you teach me??? so sometimes they all meet up at the park and find a quiet spot to Try Magic. they can’t do it but theyre having fun.

no bc thats exactly it. shes acting in place of a human lusii so of course shes going to treat it like a troll lusii / charge relationship. not to mention raising not one, but TWO kids. its exhausting work so the compensation should be good.

thinking about the concept of lusii demanding sexual payment which btw is hot as fuck. its expected that while lusii raise their charge, once they reach a certain age they need to start providing as well. think like how some trolls are obligated to feed their lusii. so its at a point where theyre expected and encourage to pleasure their caregivers as a 'thank you'. its a mutually beneficial relationship that also solidifying in their heads the idea everything theyre given must be paid back in way possible. of course is this how every relationship turns out? no, it depends on the troll and the lusii this is just the propagandized expectation. and on top of that i think to lusii less 'payment' and more 'fufillment of pleasure'. like how you play with your pets. you dont need to do it but it makes them happier.

as for discipline, it brings up an interesting question in the idea of punishments in the empire. in my personal troll sex headcannon, sexual penetration is uncommon. its essentially the troll version of anal. the trolls were not built to breed but simply to provide slurry for the mothergrub. [though you could argue thats also just propaganda done control the troll population but after years of using this method, the ability to get pregnant became a rare trait anyway-] vanilla troll sex is just their bulges wrapping together until an orgasm is achieved. slurry is pumped through their bulge and leaks through 'vents' in the sides. their nook is where their bulge unsheathes and while you can put something inside from below where the bulge comes out, their body isnt intended for that purpose. does that stop trolls? absolutely not. because of these established ideas, once you propose their lusii disciplining their charge using sex i had two ideas.

1. how do lusii have sex. and how would this translate to having sex with trolls.

2. what would be the cultural impact of this.

for the first question, lusii are shown to be animals meaning unlike trolls they breed with eachother, penetration is common and expected. they mount and dominate another, and have at it until satisfied. lets say this lusii is a large cat. all it can do is pin its charge down and fuck them till they stop struggling. it would be a purely domination thing. all theyre saying is 'im in control and youre below me'. its not intentional, they dont do it out of cruelty. its simply an instinctual desire.

but then think about how trolls would feel about that. a cultural where penetration is socially looked down upon, where getting disciplined by your caregiver meant being held down and forcefully filled. its humiliating. and i can 100% see the empire using trolls as buckets for punishment. a sort of fear that you had as a child still being a very real threat as an adult.

basically what im saying is that the way trolls view lusii relationships, ESPECIALLY adult trolls whove lived through man generations, dont even the understand the lusii / troll care dynamic. its not payment and discipline, its engagement and domination. very similar but theres a slight nuance to it.

but none of that even matters in the context of this ask i just wanted to ramble about troll worldbuilding hehe

anyway condy definitely lives by these two expectations. she expects to be paid back for her care and maintains that any bad behavior will be thoroughly punished. and lucky for her, her two kids neatly embody these two principles.

out of the two of them john was the better behaved by a landslide. he would engage in pranks, silly and incosequential. annoying at times [and she would never admit it. it was quite endearing] but that was the extent of it. he listened and he listened well. anything she asked of him he would do to the best of his abilities. seemingly unaffected and happy with his life, though shes seen how his hands shake when she punishes his sister. if it was anger or fear, he hid it well. not that it mattered as she had him on his knees, throat bulging as she fucked his mouth. he was easy and couldnt say no just took whatever she did with him with a smile on his face.

he was obedient and eager, the ideal child. she liked him, she really did. to the point of letting their relationship develop farther, moving past the required payment of him satisfying her in any way she desired to her being conscious of him. letting john make requests, asking to touch him in certain ways, a mutual pleasure that would always end up with john thanking her through slurred words and tear-stained cheeks. it was good, something closer to his relationship with his sister. [the cameras in their room have very good night vision.] and it was moments like those, john below her, naked and willing, staring up with wet eyes as he begged her to touch him, that she felt like a mother. which is why jade was really beginning to piss her off.

for as much as john listened it seemed like jade did her hardest ignore everything she asked. constantly shirking her classes or swearing up a storm at anyone who so much looks at her. every encounter with her was a battle and no matter how many times shes disciplined the girl she never gets it through her. no matter how many beatings shes recieved, leaving permanant scars that made her grin. or how often shed pin the girl down by her throat using her much smaller human body as her personal bucket. forcing her bulge in deep, far past herlimits, making her scream. no matter what jade wouldnt break, wouldnt back down to learn to her place.

because that was the problem. jade wouldnt accept her place beneath her. she always fight back still she no longer could, spitting insults and generally making everything more difficult than it needs to be. killing her was out of the question because however annoying, she was still needed [unless she could get her hands on another heiress]. so as time goes on her attempts turn. desperate. systematic torture, brutally raping her in front of an audience, tying her up as a free-use bucket for her servants and dogs, keeping her chained and muzzled at her feet for hours at an end. shes gine ahead and punished john in her place a few time, this seemed to be the best way to calm her down for a few days other than the times her injuries were so bad she couldnt get out of bed. mind control was a quick but unreliable solution. it could make her obidient for a few minutes to a few hours but her powers were fickle in humans.

the idea of discipline and payment are GREAT for condy to run her house. there would b absolutely no taboo around fucking her kids bc to her thats just how lusii do things. and on top of that the two of them would not be able to keep their hands to themselves. though its questionable if its caused by condy normalizing sex between family at a young age, the need for comfort in their situation, or just an inherit connection. either way it doesnt matter, here are some other thoughts i had:

-when jade is being punished and condy is not there [free-use either in public or private w her dogs] john would sneak to find her and give her some relief either with a break or touching her by her own accord

-when younger john was witness to ALL of jades punishments, mostly to instill fear and keep him in line

-when she was younger jade tried many times to run away but have failed bc she tried to get john in on it. then she switched to trying to kill condy which didnt work then eventually ran on her own without telling john

-the mind control only has brief success bc jade fights back so much [and john would try his best to snap her out of it]

-john would start ‘paying’ condy back at a MUCH younger age than jade bc she was focusing on her studies to be heiress. but its only after jade starts rebelling does she actually become fond of him

-everytime she used him shed make him thank her for allowing him to pay her back. directly translates to when hes older he defaults to thanking during or after sex. jade has tried hard to break this habit when theyre together

-jade was usually being disciplined so there wasnt much time for her to ever pay condy back. it happened mostly when she was younger when periods of not actively rebelling where more common. there was often a very real threat of violence, not to her but to john seeing as this was back before she liked him.

-both kids have collars. jade was collared at a young age as punishment. it shocks her as well as having a loop to be leashed. john was collared later on as a show of his submission, its more for design then anything.

-as for genetal / gender situation. personally i think jade has a cock and john has a cunt MOSTLY because its really fun to think abt condy designating gender by smth stupid like john and his father both having blue eyes. gender in trolls is very interesting to think abt bc its assigned by a more caste / role type of things. so all fuschias are designated female, jade bloods who work in the cavern are female but those who dont are seen as male. interesting conversation on troll transgenderism outside of just being like. this ones a girl cause she has boobs. while also noting the biological simililarites

ok thats it im done that was a lot longer than i planned [1.7k <- jesus]. i got side-tracked by troll world building stuff LOL but this was really fun to think about and also im 100% adding this to my ‘troll canon’. i should really think abt them more. so if anyone wants to talk abt some troll / lusii action….

but honestly so i realized halfway through that i said she would operate on the propaganda version of a lusii / charge relationship. but in reality it ended up being closer to the 'real' version than i had intended. what with john simply doing it as 'payment' and bc she demanded it to him willingly submitting to pleasure her out of desire. then with jade, the discipline element is strong throughout. shes doing it bc she has to punish her for acting out. but really shes just struggling for power. jade is actively rebelling and thus questioning her dominate status and she is acting accordingly to put her in her place. the only thing she wants to 'teach' her is to submit through domination and humiliation.

want to make a place for my thots of anything with no viewers if i remember to come on here. i cant believe i keep having to make these since i end up getting followers and interacting. but i'm an adult with shit to do irl and things to fight and this fandom is almost 20y old so idt i will do that. lol. just finished atla like 20y too late cos my parents hated me and my bro watching tv growing up. journaling/blogging thots!!! ugh. i wish i didnt hve adhd and dyspraxia lmao gonna split them up so i dont get overwhelmed reading my bullshit. if u stumble upon this it doesnt make sense sry

politically a lot of critique that i have to think about. character and plot wise it was pretty good and tight esp for a kids show. amazing female characters. can't wait for the bi agenda from LoK but i may take a while for that. p much i have to say these are great characters and i could talk a lot about them but i'm shocked at what i took away with regards to the romantic rships from the show and the characterization via it.

re love lines:

i wish kataang was written better in the show (MY opinion if any1 stumbles upon this). i don't ~ship~ zutara bc i am an adult and even back then no cos who cares lol but i see the appeal and am attracted to that. i do think we have to retire the trope of the "both sides but falling in love" not because it isn't possible but because post 10/7 (free palestine) i don't think it's worth it to look at it this way anymore. until someone proves themselves not worthy of death because of the resistance fighting back then they NEED TO PROVE THEMSELVES IMMEDIATELY. no more of this i'm in a concentration camp but he's a nazi bullshit. no more i'm a slave but he's the slave master's son (i mean in this case u could have been related but no1 listens to me!) it's repetitive, reductive, and untrue.

that being said: i just never care about the typical bildungsroman love story. you see the One Person bc i guess the kids tasked with saving the world have to be monk-adjacent (in aang's case quite literally) bc understandably theyre so fucked up lol. but it's always sooooo boring to me esp if it's f/m.

katara is such a complex character and mae whitman brings a wisdom to her voice that can be frustrating to connect with for me but her character arc, her strength, her MIND, her heart, and her fists. i think ppl probs like zutara the most when shes' going batshit and no one can understand aang's perspective. but aang is one of a kind and the cutest smartest sweetest loser ever. not my fav char but i love him. he's like if i had a younger brother and not an older one lmao.

of course they're (kataang) together. they were meant to be from the moment they saw e/o and that stupid cave kiss...this is why you don't wait until 32 to watch this lol.

but nothing surprised me and it was meant to be the way it was written. that's also why i find it understandable but shocking people in the universe and apparently outside of it were surprised at aang's turmoil over ozai. like are you joking? he's a 12 year old vegetarian monk. which: i loved his vegetarianism and obviously he was going to be but very casually they put in a line that hints as to why he would be and why many of us are...so i am dedicated to it again.

so wrt that and zutara...the episode where he's with her with the dude that killed her moms and his support of her i can see why people like them. the cave ep obviously but this show is veryyyyy free with affection i noticed and there's some jealousy but they all get over that pretty quickly. i read some of the comics and i could see different rships happening and i definitely think this world lends to queerness (me personally i love monogamy but a certain type lol so not rly interested in much poly but i do like a throuple) but i could see most being bi+ or having identified as that in the past, or labeling themselves but nto limiting. that's just an aside for meee...

so like katara was being katara. i could see suki and zuko being romantic but also a deep friendship that could be deeply affectionate either affect or physically or both bc that's who these ppl are. katara is a very intense person and that's part of why she can be annoying. that's part of why they ALL can be overwhelming. theyre intense, traumatized, repressed kids and teens with mostly good hearts (or just a person so disconnected from herself but also a fascist so u know. her going nuts lol)

hmm what else oh yea. so i came away with maiko......gjpasig the show was paced and plotted well. i am a libertarian communist (anarcho-commie) so MANNNNN i wish they did better on that front but again i must remember i am 32, ancom, and the world is diff. but anyway lmao so team avatar is who i would want to spend time with but i got so interested in mai and ty lee (mailee...). that beach ep conversation was so good, that whole ep, their argument. it was extremely teenage and showed how fucked up they all are. how confused and fucking lost and pathetic. how small their lives are. how boring....so mai...

They failed in the sense that the parts he transformed stayed stuck. Legs and arms and ears I think, but maybe some patches of fur too, like the arms / legs stop at different levels too.

And Pup (as I'll call em) met Jinx when she insisted on going with Silco to Singed's lair because she was bored. Its clear that she hadn't been able to have any friends her age, stuck with adults her whole child life post explosion, so with Pup, I give her an out. She finds them huddled in a corner, and in the time the adults are discussing business, they're bonded. Neither of the men like this and pull them apart. But with Jinx's frail state of mind and maybe some input from Sevika,

"She used to live with kids her age, and now she's stuck with only adults."

"It's one of Singed's experiments! Who knows if it's unstable!"

".... then goodluck finding another kid for her to befriend."

and thus an arrangement is made. Silco gets the discarded experiment and makes sure to engrave in them that they are to be a guard dog. Their life is meaningless. Their only purpose is to protect Jinx.

So they're best friends. I dont have everything else planned in a timeline but just. They start as childhood friends, innocent and wholesome. Pup plays a bit of an emotional support dog for Jinx's lapses, and help curb her hallucinations. They don't always live together~~Pup hates it but they need to go back to Singed's for 'maintenance'~~ and Jinx always gets pouty when they're not there. They also get into fights cuz of course they do, theyre kids, but Silco puts a stop to that nonsense by reminding Pup of their place, and instilling a sense that Pup can't... go against Jinx. Thus begins them realizing the power imbalance and growing some resentment. They take note of all of Jinx's imperfections. All the things people can find annoying and unlikeable and they just. Try to focus on those. On wanting to tell her about them. Just to crush her bubble a bit. Sometimes the mean-ness wants to slip out, but then Jinx will hold their hand, or give them a look, or Pup will just. Breathe. And look back at her and. Stop. It's not healthy, but they hold it in pretty well and keep telling themselves they shouldn't like Jinx. Until the day where they realize its too late. They are in love.

And it comes out in a scene thats just

Pup: "I NEED YOU!"

Jinx: *sobbing* "I NEED YOU TOO!"

and thats their love language. Being needed.

Once they confess, Pup starts easing her in on some of their.... opinions. Stuff she needs to work on. Namely her needing to put more thought into her actions and consequences of said actions. It takes some time ~~bratty Jinx is very huffy and takes it personally~~ but with some examples that happen afterwards, she realizes the advice is coming from a genuine place. and with more and more fuck ups stacking, and to her absolute bafflement, Pup staying with her through it all, she starts... growin a bit more rooted into the idea of changing for them. to change together. Silco has been kept in the dark for their relationship, though his subordinates love to talk. Pup doesnt want to know what will happen if he knows

Extra Angst Thoughts: Pup getting worse at controlling themselves as time goes on. Some stuff just trigger them to snarl or to even snap their teeth, and violence begins getting worse for them. To combat this, Silco orders a… shock collar. He hands a control to Jinx. Pup feels more of their freedom chipped away.

Jinx keeps reassuring them its not like she’ll ever use it. She knows Pup would never hurt her. She even tries decorating it to make it ‘prettier’. Pup just feebly smiles.

And of course. There’s a night that goes too far. Pup’s been pleading Jinx to be in her best behavior. It’s waved off. A simple post-concert brawl that Jinx starts with some rude strangers turns into bloodshed. Jinx laughs when Pup has someone on the ground. Her laughter dies down when the screaming gets worse. Blood and skin torn off. Pup with a new face and new eyes going after people that weren’t even in the fight. Jinx not moving as the crowd stampedes behind her, making for the exits. Only her, Pup, and a few still conscious victims left. Pup wakes up in the middle of breaking an arm, and she realizes what she’s done. She’s scared. She turns around and sees Jinx. Her comfort, her lifeline, she runs to her and once nearly there-

There’s a zap. Excruciating pain.

She’s on the floor in seconds, howling, slowly forming words through tears. Begging Jinx to stop. This finally snaps Jinx back, Pup is still there! Pup can speak! She kneels down after stopping the shock, holding Pup, trying to push back their hair to see their eyes and she finds them. They’re the same. But only for a few seconds, as Pup keeps repeating.

“Jinx”

She promised.

“Jinx….”

She promised not to shock me.

“Jinx!!!”

She shocked me sheshockedme sheshockedmesheshocked-

They blink and they’re gone. Eyes black. They step back, moving away from Jinx’s hands trying to reach out. And they run away.

People who hate on Soriel will never make sense to us. They dont have to like the ship, but why hate on those who do?? Just leave them alone. Plus their points just...don’t make sense.

If you don’t like Soriel, just mute/block the tags relating to it so you see it less. Its not the fault of the artists if you accidentally stumble on Soriel content.

“Toriel is cheating on Asgore” no, Asgore and Toriel split a long time ago. Asgore even asks “do you think we could at least be friends” which makes it pretty damn clear they arent together anymore. Plus, some Soriel shippers also ship Asgoriel (or they ship Sansgoriel like we do) so...

“Sans doesn’t have the energy for a relationship” okay, yeah, but...do you not think he would get more energy once he doesn’t have to deal with resets and faking happiness anymore? Like, post-pacifist Sans, after getting some much needed rest and probably being dragged to therapy, could totally be up for a relationship. (And before ya’ll say Toby confirmed Sans is too lazy for one, remember Toby also said not to take his tweets as canon.)

“Toriel is probably way older than Sans!” ...she also is a Boss Monster, who lives longer than most monsters anyways. Have ya’ll never seen vampire-human love stories or something similar? So long as both parties are consenting adults, it doesn’t really matter. Its only weird if an adult starts dating someone the second they turn 18, when they knew them as a teen/kid (example: a 30 year old waiting for a 15 year old to get older so they can ask them out.) But Toriel and Sans were both adults when they met.

“Toriel is unfair to Asgore!” okay, but how does that have anything to do with Soriel? Toriel can work out stuff with Asgore and forgive him, while still having a loving relationship with someone else. Hell, Sans could even be of help to her, by offering an outside perspective! Lots of people have grudges against their exes, that doesnt mean they should stop dating until they forgive them (unless their grudge is actively harming the people they are currently dating.) Give her space and time, and she’ll come around, regardless of if she is dating Sans or not.

“Theyre just friends!” if thats how you see them, cool. But not everyone has to see them that way.

post amp au(??) lore/hc dump

the designs are technically for around mid-late high school (age 15-18 or so) but it doesnt rly matter

also applies to just the general time period after the stuff that happens in the show canon

no real plot atm, just a bunch of random hcs and stuff mashed together

at this point we have no clue whats gonna go down in the rest of s3, so this is working off the assumption that at the end of the show the kids will be allowed to go back and forth between earth and amphibia

anne has a sort of system thing where she alternates between living with her family on earth and her family in amphibia for periods of time. she stays on earth during school and goes to amphibia during the summer and over breaks

marsh and ev tried getting out of going to school but they couldnt :(

it was def hard adjusting back to earth, esp school. there were multiple instances where ev ended up fighting a bunch of kids for saying shitty stuff abt the trio

anne plays a bunch of different sports in school, but her main two are tennis and basketball (shes aiming for a tennis scholarship)

ev dropped all her sports the first year back from amphibia bc adjusting but eventually she started picking them back up. for school he plays soccer and softball

lil personal hc that ev started doing competitive sailing as a kid and she continued it even after amphibia and through high school

anne actually got more into bouldering/rock climbing and does it every few weeks or so. it took a but of convincing, but she also convinced ev to try it out and they go together

marsh isnt allowed to do sports anymore bc health issues. they cheer on their girlfriends at as many of their games/matches/events as possible (hes had a perfect record so far)

ev is fine with ppl calling him “sash” or “sasha” sometimes but just generally prefers everett more

anne mainly sticks with she/her pronouns but sometimes uses they/them too

marsh is ok with being referred to as anne’s/ev’s “girlfriend,” but only by certain people and only if its as a collective (“anne and her girlfriends” or “the girlfriends” or smth like that). otherwise they prefer sticking with boyfriend/partner/joyfriend, stuff like that. everett is cool with whatever, and anne uses feminine/neutral terms

marsh was into coding before amphibia, but for a little while afterwards he couldnt rly enjoy it as much (bc… yknow…). tho they did eventually get back into the game making part of it and picked it back up

marshall uses crutches sometimes when his kebab pain gets pretty bad. on the rly bad days he uses a wheelchair. sometimes if the pain catches them off guard and they dont have their crutches anne or ev will carry him around

the three of them started dating a few months after all the plot stuff ends. or, something like that. its a little complicated. they kind of dance around each other and their feelings at first, but soon enough confessions start spilling out

they agree to give each other time to just get used to each other again and figure out their new group dynamic since they all had a bunch of character development in amphibia. the whole time they just take things slow.

all three of them get potions of trans-ur-gender in amphibia, tho mars still ended up getting top surgery

lady olivia takes up leadership in amphibia. she considered giving the trio positions of power but decided to just wait until theyre older.

theyre still pretty well known throughout amphibia. that kind of thing comes with being heroes and saving the world or whatever

while in amphibia marshall still mainly hangs out in newtopia and helps with running the city. tho olivia tries to keep his workload small bc hes still not an adult and shouldnt have to worry abt all of this. marsh is still insistent on helping out tho

when she gets the chance ev goes travelling with grime and his lil group of vagabonds. grime wasnt too fond of the idea of taking back his military rank, even under a new leader, so he just wanders around amphibia doing random stuff committing crimes. he makes a new legend for himself, becoming something of a “wandering hammer”

ev usually sticks around newtopia tho bc she has to go back and forth between earth and amphibia, and its just easier to stick by marshall (and the music box??). the two are generally given small missions to do around the area

anne usually sticks around wartwood when she’s in amphibia, but sometimes she drops by newtopia and every once in a while she even tags along on ev’s/marshall’s missions

everett got an owl companion (like joe sparrow) after a little while in amphibia, since he had started traveling farther and more often

mtha thots: it’s a quirkless au (for now) where you adopt the lov when theyre children. kurogiri may or may not be a possible love interest. i’m not sure yet, but that’s not the point. it’s a rough outline of some fluffy stuff and these might not be coherent but i’ve fallen into the suken place and there’s no getting out. also no beta, we die like hot girls

warnings: none

when you first met tenko on the sidewalk, you didn’t know this frightened and anrgy little boy would turn into the most precious thing in your life

he had been on the street for nearly the entire day and you were the first to reach out to him with tenderness in your eyes

he latched onto you and cried his little heart out

and you knew you right then, you couldn’t let this boy go

despite the intial trust, it was a difficult adjustment for you and tenko

his past was a horror story and it would take patience, love, and A LOT of therapy to heal from it, but you never lost hope

but with each soft touch, warm smile, and patient gaze, he grew more relaxed in you presence

when things get better, tenko brightens into this hopeful and giving young boy who wants to help everyone!

he’s also upfront about his thoughts now (bc he feels safe enough to speak his truth) and it shows when you tell him it’s time to put cocoa butter on his skin so it won’t dry up

he’ll stomp around for a second and say, “but i dont wanna!”

but just give him “the look” and he’ll drag his feet over to you

bc yeah youre nice but he knows better than to push it

besides, tenko secretly loves it anyways bc then he feels all warm and soft and you always give him the biggest hugs afterwards so it’s worth it

the first time he called you mama/papa/baba was when he crawled into your bed after a nightmare

before he fell back asleep he whispered, “i love you, ___”

you held him tight and cried the entire night

time goes by and tenko starts going to school

it’s also a difficult adjustment bc he’s a little shy around new people

you figure taking him out to the park for ice cream and to play with other children would help

you turn around for TWO seconds to pay for it and this boy is gone

you all but panic until he reappears with another kid in hand

tenko doesnt let you get a word in before he goes, “mama/papa/baba, this is dabi. he’s 10 and he hates his dad too! can we take him home?”

that’s when you learn that your son had a knack for picking up stray children

and in the end, you end up adopting them bc, well, you fall in love w dabi, then toga, and spinner

just as you did tenko

and a couple of years pass and somehow, you’ve winded up with a quartet of children in your apartment who you’d die for

they all come with their separate issues, quirks, and baggage, but their hearts shine brighter with each day

dabi is a tsundere that scares off bullies and totally DOES NOT like it when you kiss his forehead

toga is basically attached to your hip, like she doesnt walk 40% of the time when youre around

spinner creates huge houses and sculptures on minecraft dedicated in your name and gets super flustered when you make a bg deal out of it even tho he likes it hehe

tenko tries to be “all grown up” around you but aboslutely melts when you hold him and rake your fingers through his hair

it’s all nice but you’ll admit, it’s tough

between working, taking care of them, and holding up the house, you barely sleep

there was one time you came home from work and just collapsed on the couch, 100% knocked out

you wake up the next morning, horrified that you slept for that long

however, you’re delighted to find a blanket over you, a bowl of soup on the table, and all four of your children hapazardly curled up on your chest and legs, fast asleep

you nearly pass out from how cute it was!

somehow someway, the lov (in this au called the league of outcasts lmao) find themselves together

their always over having sleepovers, playing video games, or just gossiping about lame adults

one day, when kurogiri drops off sako, magne, and jin, they see a small blush form on his usually stoic face

and all hell breaks loose

they come up with an ingenous plan to get you two together so they can actually be a real family

im not sure about the details but it’s a lot of “coincidental” meetings

tenko, spinner and jin bring him up a lot to you

magne, toga, and sako try and give kurogiri hints about what you like

dabi “accidentally” tripped you into his arms once

it’s a whole mess

but it might be working???

who knows

but regardless, you all have found solace in one another when at one point, it didn’t seem like you ever would

it came with it’s trials and tribulations but finding tenko was the best thing that couldve happened to you

it led you to your new family

and guess what? they all feel the same way about you

- idc idc theyre the best of both worlds 🤩

- you prefer verbal affirmations over physical touch (or vice versa) ? their immediately making a mental note and showing u love with whichever one u like more

- i think they'd be a scientist or researcher ?? maybe they'd study the human body or like global warming ?? idfk but would definitely go into the science field

- also i personally love the idea of moblit and them being together 😳🤚 idk i love the idea

- but since YOU are with miss hange id like to think they stayed friends after the breakup 😌✨ theyre both mature ppl (and hot)

- moblit is always third wheeling w you guys. you and hange could be making out and he'd sit there with his iced coffee like 😐

- hange i feel is a very forgetful person, so like, dates and stuff (things made on a sort of short notice) they tend to forget about, but things like birthdays and anniversaries are NEVER forgotten

- ofc they'll make it up to you after you call them from the restaurant youve been waiting in for over an hour

- but sometimes it does hurt that they value their work so much, you love that they find joy in what they do and are dedicated, but it just feels like they prioritize work over you

- could be on the verge of discovering a new genetic mutation (idk) while also being on the verge of passing out due to dehydration

- theyll come out for dinner and be like "yknow ive been having this weird headache all day"

- "probably because you havent drank any water today"

- will stare at you like "🤨" before replying "nah i dont think so 😹"

- you have to threaten letting them starve to get them to drink some water. and as soon as they do theyre chugging three cups

- five minutes later theyre like "babe ! it worked ! youre awesome"

- lots of pet names like babe/baby, my love, my darling (in a dramatic english accent), honey, and any others that youd prefer

- has a weird love for the cartoon archer (yknow that adult show with like 10 seaons ??)

- will literally no nothing about the plot or characters, and will only put the show on for background noise while theyre doing something, but will ALWAYS recommend archer to others and say its their favourite cartoon if asked

- also loves the amazing world of gumball (you got them into it) actually watches the show and loves it, yet never thinks of it when asked "what shows should i watch ?" or "what are some shows you like ?"

- if youre like, an artist or something like that, they genuinely LOVE anything you make

- you made them a little painting ? theyre hanging it up in their apartment. you created a clay vase or something ? buying flowers to put in it rn (doesnt even take care of the flowers but yk)

- talks so passionately abt their work and coworkers to you. theres this new intern at their job and hes the sweetest and brightest kid they know. his names armin and they speak about him SO highly

- doesnt know how to take care of things around the house (like handy stuff) so they beg levi to come over.
