Headecanon Nico has a pretty bad habit of chewing or biting his lips to the point of bleeding when upset/ contemplating/ etc…, so in order to protect those already chapped lips, Jason makes it a point to kiss him whenever Nico does that to break that habit. what if when jason woke up on the bus with piper and leo the only memory he had was the name nico di angelo?

imagine if suddenly we start a new series without percy's pov and with this jason having the memory of nico's name (character we already knew and loved?) but jason has no idea why he remembers that name. he thinks nico can be his friend— or a an enemy...

so in SoN we see that the only memory that percy has is annabeth's name— and only then the thousand theories we had start to make sense like "are these mf gay??"

and then in SoN when we see nico in CJ he is shaken by jason's missing because they were falling in love with each other but no one knew about this relationship (except for hazel) that started when nico went to take hazel to CJ (shout out to rewrite the stars ). but nico can't go after jason because only he could enter tartarus to look for the doors of death

so in MoA jason is hoping to find nico in CJ to finally understand what nico is to him— but nico is already gone. so when jason finds out that nico has been kidnapped he loses his mind a little and because of that he recovers the memories he has of nico, which helps him recover more memories of his life

anyway, i would love if rick had given an lgbt protagonist right in our face at the beginning of a new series and had developed their story along with the new prophecy, just like it was with percabeth.

when jason woke up with nico's name in his mind... it was going to be simply iconic

Hi im back! i know it’s been a while life’s been crazy—— Anyways

This idea came from the fact that i remembered that Jason doesn’t get his glasses till later + realizing my best friend is insane for sleeping with his glasses on <3

After Receiving his glasses, Jason has to adjust to keeping them on all the time, So after learning to keep them on and remembering to keep them with him. Jason finally gets used to wearing them all the time.

So when He starts to do tasks like studying, Brain-storming about the shrines and other Pontifex Maximus duties, that makes him lose time when deep in focus.

Jason Accidentally Developes that habit of Sleeping with his glasses on.

Mostly due to Falling asleep at his desk or Forgetting they’re on his Face while he reads before bed, Even forgetting to take them off for the rare occasions he catches a nap.

Thats How a certain Son of Hades Finds out.

During one of the many times Jason has spent in Cabin 13 Hanging out With Nico di angelo, They’re rambles of conversation had lulled into comfortable silence. Both Just enjoying each other’s presence, while they both did they’re own task.

Jason being a chronic over-worker while laying down and reading abook was a recipe for tired drooping eyes. The son of Hades looked up from his Sketchbook to see The blonde half awake.

“You should take a nap, gods know you probably need one, Grace”

Which was met with a Yawn and nod from the Son of jupiter, who closed his book- and his eyes with. Nico waited for him to take off his glasses, but that never came. He looked in disbelief and he poked Friend.

“Hey Jason take off your glasses, if your actually going to nap” he hummed

Jason just shrugged it off with a tried movement. “i sleep with them on all the time”

“What!?”

The Blonde opened his eyes to find Nico now staring at him as if he was out of his mind.

“You know that’s how you break your glasses right?— it can even cause an eye injury Jason— “

He went on scolding the older boy about all the draw backs and— being friends with an apollo kid has rubbed off on him, Jason chuckles to himself.

Nico only ceased his warnings once, a slightly amused Jason grace took his glasses off with a sheepish smile.

That was only the beginning.

Jason slowly began to realize that Nico would show up at Cabin 1 more often, Staying later into the night than usual. always giving Jason a reminder to take off his glasses before Shadowtraveling back to his own cabin, Sometimes even taking the glasses off the son of Zeus if he happens to doze off during his visit.

It had become a Habit at this point, maybe even routine. The son of hades would check in and sometimes find Jason lf asleep, book in hand or hunched over his desk. Those times were met with Nico gently taking his glasses off before waking up the roman demigod so he could sleep on his actual bed.

The act reminds Jason just how much the Shorter demigod cares. He would be lying if he said it didn’t make him warm—in a perfectly platonic way of course.

Then on a sunny day, They’re both sitting Under Thalia’s Tree while enjoying the nice breeze. Jason closes his eyes and mays back and relaxes.

Nico looks over at Him after a while, Thinking that Jason has once again Fallen asleep with his glasses again. He scoffs with a small smile before carefully taking off Jason’s glad off. He also Notices a smudge of dirt on the others cheek and Gently rubs it off with his thumb.

He looks down at jason. Let’s out a small laugh.

“Dork” is all Nico says, as he Takes his hand away and sets the older demigods glasses aside. Before dozing off himself.

Only Now Jason opens his eyes being very much awake, heart beating as if it’ll burst from his chest, and his face flushing as he’s now hit with the realization his feelings for Nico are more than just platonic-

Jason touches his cheek where the others Hand had been, suddenly never wanting the warmth to disappear.

Nico Di Angelo never liked hugs.

He wasn't used to that sort of affection in a long time, yet he could never bring himself to hate Jason Grace's embrace. Jason would always pick nico's frail body up and squeeze him in a rib crushing bro hug. Whether it be after they won capture the flag, or if Nico was feeling down, or simply when Jason felt like it. It was a subconscious habit of his. Those hugs just had a healing effect in them, Jason's hugs were always sincere and filled with genuine affection.

Nico had grown to do more than just tolerate those hugs, he'd eventually learned to hug back. And each time Jason's face would brighten like a puppy, his chest would be filled with warmth. Is this what it felt like to have a friend? Is this what it felt like to have a loving older brother?

'See you later, Grace" Nico said, pulling away from the hug Jason had given him, except this time, the hug was unusually melancholic, As Jason still held on tight, for a few extra seconds, though for what reason, Nico didn't know. Jason merely smiled, with glazy eyes and patted Nico's head gently.

And here Nico was, sobbing and thrashing in the inky depths of the underworld, yelling for the damned sunshiney son of Jupiter, the son of Jupiter who totally wasn't dead. no. of course not. Nico hadn't been hugged yet, Jason can't just leave without a last hug. He would never do that, unless he had no other choice. Each time he took a jittery step forward, his mind would be plagued with gruesome images of Jason's chest leaking with blood as the spear pierced his heart.

Nico realized with a pang, why the last hug they shared was melancholic.

That damned Grace knew it would be their last.

Jason Grace's chest, where Nico used be squeezed into a hug, was now a chest covered with blood.

Nico yelled in despair as the cruel fates forced him to accept that Jason Grace had truly left Nico Di Angelo forever, without a final warm hug. Nico had never longed for that once annoying rib crushing hug any more than he did right now.

no you dont understand why solangelo is good and better than jasico/p*rcico. nico looked up to these guys and admired them like an idol but he could never really approach them or feel comfortable around them. he idolises them unhealthily and if he ever got in a relationship with jason or percy he'd feel like hes not enough because of the big spotlight he sees them in.

meanwhile, will is normal. he's not so powerful (to the extent that everyone looks up to him, like percy) hes just well respected around camp for being a medic. he's easygoing, and yeah, maybe a little insecure about his lack of cool kaboom shakalaka powers but he's just.. a guy.

and i think thats a refreshing change for nico. he doesnt feel like he has to make up for anything because he doesnt view will in that spotlight of a huge powerful guy. it equalises them. and yeah, nico's powerful himself, but from what we've seen will doesnt really 'idolise' him. theyre both just.. normal.

*side note: i think idolising someone and not seeing that theyre flawed, then getting to know them better and seeing that they have flaws too, is a normal thing that happens when crushing on people, but i think that it makes an already unhealthy setup for a relationship. nico idolises percy for years.

Solangelo:Will Is More Clingy towards Nico during the summer because Nico has a naturally cold temperature. And Will has a high body temperature, so Will Enjoys Holding Nico and Touching his bare skin because it cools him down. Nico is not a fan of Will when he initiates cuddles while being all sweaty from the heat.(i think i got this idea from @yonemurishiroku. I'd feel guilty if I didn't give credit honestly)

Valdangelo: Many people assume Leo is the Overly Affectionate boyfriend, and Nico hated when anyone touched him. But Leo knew that Nico Initiated Cuddles just as much as Leo did. The difference was that Leo didn't mind doing it in public, while Nico preferred to keep it private.

Valdangelo again: Leo had spent Weeks Trying to Convince Nico to Come up with a super cool handshake they could do whenever they greeted each other. Nico eventually did learn the handshake, but unfortunately For Leo, Nico had never promised that he would use it.

Jasico: Jason can't help but stare at Nico when he's deep in thought or reading a book. He finds Nico's intense focus and furrowed brow incredibly endearing. Sometimes, Jason can't resist the urge to Take a Picture of Him and Make an album full of Pictures of him.

Jasico: Jason loves to watch Nico sleep. He finds peace in seeing Nico so peaceful and vulnerable, and it reminds him of just how lucky he is to have Nico in his life. Sometimes, Jason will gently brush a strand of hair away from Nico's face, savoring the intimate moment.

Nicobaster: Nico playing the piano and Alabaster playing the violin. Their music is hauntingly beautiful and has a way of touching people's souls.♥️

Nicobaster: Alabaster loves to tease Nico about his serious and brooding demeanor. Whenever Nico gets caught up in his thoughts or has his normal Grumpy expression, Alabaster will jokingly ask if Nico hasn't yet had his morning fuel (coffee). In TOA it is said that Jason is drawing the models of the shrines, right? and Piper says that his drawings are very good. So I think because of his lack of memory and growing up at CJ Jason never had the opportunity to explore his personal interests much, because he had to be the perfect soldier for the legion.

But when he started to draw the shrines he discovered that he loved to draw, and even though he still don't feel confident in showing it to everyone, he's very good at it

Also in TOA suddenly Nico has a personalized cabin 13 shirt. So I think it was Jason who designed those shirts and had some made as a gift for Nico

And when nico got these shirts he was like - why are you so annoyingly adorable jason?
