Hi everyone,

I’m sorry for my lack of answers, I’m trying to keep up with the current airing whumps’ lists but also completing the finished shows’ one and the new seasons’ episodes’ ones:

* The current airing shows’ lists are all updated: Law & Order SVU, The Flash, Magnum PI, Taxi Driver; I’ll soon watch Carnival Row and update it with the first two episodes aired as well;

* I am doing a whumpslist for Will Trent, which is currently airing, and the books by Karin Slaughter the TV show is based on, I'm still undecided whether to publish it or wait to complete them all. What would you prefer?;

* I have to update the Titans' list with the first part of the fourth season;

* I’ve finally updated the Prodigal Son's list with the second season (I will reblog it right after this post); The Boys' one has already been updated with the third season;

* I’ve recentely updated Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and Strike (TV show and books) too, and posted a new K-list, The Veil;

* I have started to watch the second season of The Witcher (I’ve watched the prequel Blood Origin and enjoyed it so much);

* I have K-drama The K-2 list to complete from... forever, I will gather my courage to finish it and goodbye one of my favorite character; same for The Musketeers, only a bunch of episodes left to review...

Nope, as I’ve already answered it several times: I will not do a list for SEAL Team, I've only made a gifset for episode 2.17. Despite the potential, it’s pretty lacking in whumps (even if the last season had some improvements). The ones shown are widely reviewed in The Whumpapedia, though.

Do you know any good Chloro Man scenes from shows?

Interesting trope, Anon! Not one of my kind, so I can’t really recall some specifically, but I report it in my lists when it happens. Maybe you can use a selected filter to serch it into The Whumpapedia, though.

Could you do whump lists of…Forever, TVD, The originals, Legacies and other crime sci-fi shows?

It’s highly unlikely it will happen, sorry @anonymous-persona, especially the vampire shows, because of the immortality things, whumps are almost pointless...

WIP 1: (context: angsty draco whump fic that ive been working on since january)

. ‘Fear twists Draco’s insides like a wet rag. In the forest, watching him, was there something more monstrous than Fenrir himself?’

.‘He stares up at the sky, the stars and the enormity of the world above him mostly obscured by the layer of cloud, but even through that he can see the blurred outline of the moon, almost full but not quite.

Draco swallows cold air, and leans back against the door. Almost full. Almost, almost.’

WIP 2: (context: fill for my bad things happen bingo)

.‘It’s just such a Potterism: in the Slytherin common room they used to mock the way Potter constantly went “Um, Er, Eh, Ah, Uhm,” instead of just fucking saying it.’

.‘He’s a terrible person really; at his core Draco is a black mass with fangs.’

WIP 3: (long plotless eighth year smut fic that’s been in my drafts for over a year):

.‘It catches both of them off guard when Malfoy flings the bathroom door open, clad in fresh pyjamas with his hair dripping from the shower. 

Harry freezes, even though he knows that Malfoy can’t possibly have the X-Ray vision required to see where his hand is, and Malfoy does a full body cringe, face spasming in what Harry knows must be absolute mortification.’

WIP 4: Torchwood (ianto angst in the gap between season 1 +2)

.‘It was two days after Jack vanished that Tosh had checked the cameras in the Bay. The four of them gathered around her workstation, Ianto with an empty coffee tray still under his arm. Gwen was biting her lip so hard that it almost bled. 

 The four of them watched as Jack sprinted past the Millennium Centre to an old fashioned blue police box. Ianto’s stomach had dropped to his toes. He knew that box.’

supernatural s14e12 prophet and loss (w. brad buckner, eugenie ross-leming)

feel like i'm just grinding through s14 at a decent pace. several times now they've made me had minor (to moderate) breakdowns and i just want to keep plowing through because i don't want the breakdowns to last more than one day 🫠 been a long time since a season made me cry so much. and especially with mid-season episodes? but it feels more.... hm. calculated. like when i bitched about 4 months suddenly equals 40 years in hell etc.

ranted about it in 9x09 because i don't think i was making my feelings known here for every episode back in s4

instead i just sighed because “trust me, kevin” and “i always end up screwed :)” so now dean’s gonna feel guilty. he’s already feeling guilty enough, did we need that too? when they push too hard on the excessive dean whump, i get annoyed. like the whole 4 months=40 years, i enjoyed torturing people, etc. edgelord bullshit :P

except instead of getting mad about it being edgelord bullshit now, i'm just feeling brokenhearted and manipulated. very not fun times. it's too much too close together to the jack thing and too similar to things they've done in the past, i think. is why it's pushing me away so hard.

dean's nightmare in the box / suicidal deathbed-esque convo also with interstellar-ish music / interstellar cornfield chase (c. hans zimmer) played by anna lapwood on the organ

well. dean's nightmare was awful. shades of him in hell calling out for sam. cannot fucking wait until this particular plotline gets snuffed out. and because i can't deal with not comparing this interstellar-ish music (it's in both spn scenes) i tacked it on to the end of this video too.

this reminds me a lot of the conversations in s5 about sammy going in the cage.

and like when i was watching the old guard, i'm like ah yes, stuck in a coffin in the ocean drowning over and over because you're immortal - i have heard this story before! on the vampire diaries! someone... stefan?? was stuck in a ...... safe? and pushed into a lake to repeatedly die and revive. 500 years and 3 months, respectively.

well this rando dude torturing and drowning a woman scene, also awful. jesus. we're committing to darker-than-usual i guess

listen i know this gets resolved somehow and i'm not gonna bail on this fucking project with a little more than a season left but i can't express how much i don't want to watch something that's making me cry so hard my head is killing me (more than it was already) on a regular basis. this is too many things that cut too close to home with characters i'm too attached to. sigh.

I nearly went for xray + penny - jack but then don’t hold your breath 1 caught me eye and I'm most intrigued about that one!

don't hold your breath 1 is something I started from a Whump of May prompt which was definitely "don't hold your breath". 😂 It's only about 1000 words and I wish I knew quite where it was going to go. This is set between seasons 3 and 4.

“You just said we should sign up for a wilderness challenge, Mac,” Desi snapped back. “How is that relaxing? We’d probably get eaten by crocodiles or catch malaria.”

“And you just said we should take up MMA fighting,” Mac pointed out. “Yesterday you asked me if the bike in the garage would be good for motorcycle racing.”

“Hey, a girl can have hobbies, can’t she?”

“We don’t even know how long we’re going to be off,” Mac says. “We could get called back tomorrow.”

“You wish,” Desi muttered.

He did wish. It had been two months since the Phoenix was shut down, and Mac was ready to crawl out of his skin with boredom.

My favorite version of MacDesi is when they're arguing, obviously. 😂

Jack's plans for a lazy afternoon are derailed when he discovers that Phryne has gone missing. A wild search ensues, and when he finds her, not everything is as he'd hoped and he discovers that she is badly injured. Worse, they are forced to spend the night in an abandoned barn before he can rescue her from their current murder suspect.

I've been dying to share this with y'all. It was an idea that wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it.

At first I didn't know if Mac's coma dream should be Jack-less or season 4 as a nightmare and then as if I needed more incentive, I wrote the mix of both, mentioning the mess that season 4 was and Jack not being around but only in the dream (nightmare 😈). Jack's always there when Mac wakes up.

Warning for panic attacks when Mac comes to consciousness and is still intubated.
