Kyo interview and HD scans from CUT August 2013
Translation notes below:
Kyo hated baseball, which his parents used to watch all the time. They were fans of the Hanshin Tigers. Instead, he was sent to buy beer for them. But it was thanks to his parents that he developed an interest for movies, and with time, he began liking especially films with splatter.
As we know, he bought a camera to pass time during the overseas tours. Whether because the other band members leave the tour bus to go drinking or to do sightseeing, or because he has to wait sometimes six hours in airports, a camera enabled him to be productive in his free time. Then, he picked up a notebook and a mechanical pen and started drawing. He had never studied drawing, but he followed his instincts. He would draw so much that he was occasionally stopped by the fact that he found himself at a venue, the SE had started playing, and the other band members had already walked on stage (I guess we'll know what's up if Kyo is particularly late in future shows hah).
He took photographs of anything, including trash, because he thought: "Well, that's me too."
"I don't really like positive words, but I don't feel like I am alive unless I am moving forward. It's human nature for people to struggle. "

if they really knew
All of those things
That you do in your room
To hide the pain
I bet their minds would change

"All I ever wanted was to be happy, all I ever wanted was you to be with me.. by my side, in life, eternally. If you knew the things I think, you just might see.. how much I love you cause you are the girl of my dreams."
I don't expect much from life, but one thing I know.. I want you - eUë

What would people look like
if we could see them as they are,
soaked in honey, stung and swollen,
reckless, pinned against time?

If you could know the empty ache of loneliness,
Masked well behind the calm indifferent face
Of us who pass you by in studied hurriedness,
Intent upon our way, lest in the little space
Of one forgetful moment hungry eyes implore
You to be kind, to open up your heart a little more,
I’m sure you’d smile a little kindlier, sometimes,
To those of us you’ve never seen before.
If you could know the eagerness we’d grasp
The hand you’d give to us in friendliness;
What vast, potential friendship in that clasp
We’d press, and love you for your gentleness;
If you could know the wide, wide reach
Of love that simple friendliness could teach,
I’m sure you’d say “Hello, my friend,” sometimes,
And now and then extend a hand in friendliness to each.
