I'm not sure if it was your blog where I read about DEG real names. I watched Shinya's Koalamarch video where they mentioned a bandman's name "Ando" that they know (around 8:10) Shinya and Fujieda's reaction is kind of intriguing. Does it mean Die's real name is Daisuke Ando? (not sure if you have watched the scene to confirm that it feels suspicious)

I don't usually watch his game videos, so thank you for bringing that to my attention! I think that the members' real names were kind of leaked through a governmental Brazilian website where all foreign tourists' info is published, so I'm not sure that there are still mysteries.

In any case, watching Shinya's Kola's March video, it is undeniable that he was staring intently at Fujieda and laughing because Ando is so close to him, especially with how he cryptically plays it down as him having an "acquaintance who is a bandman called Ando".

What's the deal with Dir en grey film? And why was the page suspended? I'm confused is this official news? It's kinda exciting I want it to be true so bad 😭😭

Alright, so Dir en grey's final show of the latest European tour was filmed, in Berlin, and they will show it in theatres... only in Japan, in autumn 2024. There is no word yet on that movie being released in any format that overseas fans could enjoy as well.

Now, for some reason, a different Twitter account was created called "DIR EN GREY LIVE FILM" (@direngrey_film), but that got taken down due to a violation of the site's rules. Very non-descript... I highly doubt that we will ever get an explanation on what happened - whether somebody complained/reported the account or Twitter reviewed the account on its own and shut it down.

What I don't get is that there seems to be a lot more complaints from fans who "went to see it and would like to see it too" than from all the rest of the world who couldn't even attend the European tour hah. Anyway, clearly there are logistic issues related with screening a movie internationally, and hopefully they are not announcing a DVD release only because doing so might deter people from paying to watch it in a movie theatre. But they ended up releasing Meguro Rock-May-Kan, so I'm optimistic that it's just a matter of time. The shows in England were filmed too, from what I remember reading, so we will get that at some point.
