Can we get rid of the notion that "one post isnt gonna do much" or "my platform isnt big enough anyway" when it comes to sharing what's going on in Gaza?
Israel has been in control of the narrative for years. And with the rise of social media platforms, they are depending on you and me thinking "my voice doesnt mean anything anyway". They want us to give up.
At this point if you havent shared anything about it, even though you're an active member on a social media platform, you are giving israel exactly what they want. They want the world to forget or ignore what they're doing.
Of course you're still allowed to make fandom posts, post aesthetic pictures, talk about personal anecdotes or interests. But if you are active in doing the above while still maintaining silent on what's happening in Gaza after a whole ass month,,,you are essentially silencing the Gazan voice in a way you maybe hadn't considered:
Because by being an active member (posting unrelated things) yet still remaining silent on a humanitarian crisis, you're essentially normalising disinvolvement in a humanitarian crisis.
Remember, israel is counting on the world to forget/ignore what's happening. Your silence only helps them.

"Food Facts" ist das neue Premium-Ernährungsformat auf health tv. Moderiert wird die Sendung von Model und Ernährungsberaterin Sarah Brandner, die alle Rezepte auch selbst entwickelt. Im Unterschied zu klassischen Kochformaten stehen bei "Food Facts" die Nährstoffe der einzelnen Zutaten im Vordergrund.
Sarah beschäftigt sich in jeder Folge mit einem Nährstoff (z.B. Eisen), gibt spannende Insights, in welchen Lebensmitteln man den Nährstoff finden kann und kocht drei leckere Rezepte, in denen der Nährstoff in hoher Konzentration vorhanden ist. Das neu entwickelte Konzept des "Educational Cooking" wird durch die Unterstützung des bekannten Ernährungsmediziners Dr. Matthias Riedl abgerundet. Er übernimmt den ernährungsmedizinischen Part und erklärt den Zuschauern, wofür unser Körper Nährstoffe benötigt, wie sie wirken und was passiert, wenn wir Mangelerscheinungen haben.
Nährstoffe im Fokus
In den 30 Folgen von "Food Facts" stehen zehn unterschiedliche Nährstoffe im Fokus und zu jedem Nährstoff werden jeweils drei Clips produziert. Die Auftaktsendung beschäftigt sich mit dem lebenswichtigen Nährstoff Eisen. Sarah hat dafür einen Eisen-Smoothie, einen leckeren Linsen-Spinat-Salat mit gerösteten Samen und einen stärkenden Eisen-Power-Riegel vorbereitet. In den nächsten Folgen stehen dann Vitamin C, Zink, Magnesium, Kalzium, Vitamin B12, Omega-3-Fettsäuren, Proteine, Fett & Kohlehydrate im Fokus.

quick n easy list of gentle coping mechanisms for bad mental health days / neurodivergent understimulation episodes!! some are more applicable to one or the other but when i'm feeling particularly like a tiger in a too-small enclosure i find doing at least a couple of these things helps me so much
drink water. basic, but annoyingly effective
eat a snack. same as above
stretch! even just some laying down stretches like pulling on your arms and knees (in fact, here's a great tiktok series for "depression stretches" and workouts/physical stimulation you can do laying down/without much movement)
music/podcasts/video essays. your favorite playlist you haven't listened to in a while, a podcast you like/have been meaning to start (i listen to podcasts while i'm drawing!)
draw/color! if you don't wanna draw, a coloring book is always fun. i actually prefer kids' ones.
read a book. i prefer physical books bc i know i'll get sucked back into the social media scrolling for hours if i try to read on my phone. i also recommend a nice tea/hot chocolate/juice with this one.
video games. this can be anything from minecraft to destiny 2, but i usually never give myself time for these, even when i have it (stuck in that phone scrolling). a more action-packed game for mental understimulation, maybe a more mellow one for a bad depression episode.
shower. i am fully aware this tends to take a lot of spoons but even just sitting under running water ALWAYS makes me feel better when i can manage it. it also helps me with adhd overstimulation!
clean/organize. this sounds counterintuitive but i actually do enjoy organizing stuff for understimulation, and cleaner workspaces help with the depression. even if it's something as simple as "put all the pencils on the desk back into the pencil cup."
puzzles/brain games. this one is almost exclusively for mental understimulation but once i get going it makes my depression SO MUCH BETTER, TOO. my niche is getting myself some algebra sheets but this can be anything from math to jigsaws to crosswords to word searches!! some kind of problem solving that engages your brain and requires focus. this one is my favorite because i find it really grounding.
playing an instrument. this is in the same vein as the last one! again, my personal niche is the piano, but this could be any sort of thing. in fact this could even be substituted for some kind of alt hobby all together, like knitting or crocheting or something! again, mostly for understimulation, but gives me the serotonin boost to get through the depression stuff as well.
this is all i have for my list, but i'd love for anyone to reblog and add their own stuff!!
