I exist in a dimension that is solely DimiClaude and so today I am thinking about how on Claude’s birthday, Dimitri gets up super early to prepare for it because he can only do so much preparing the day before since Claude would catch on if he did too much.
the evening before he tells the cooks and maids and all their workers what he’s planning to do so that they’re all prepared for the busy next day (but he’s paying them extra for the extra work and for the people who gotta get up early or keep working late!!!).
in the morning he makes sure everything is ready for the Whole Day and then he goes back to bed in time for Claude to wake up! these days Claude is a bit more used to having Dimi around so he won’t wake up as quickly/easily when there’s movement right beside him, and Dimi has learned to be quiet and careful so he doesn’t wake Claude since Claude is a light sleeper.
whenever it’s Claude’s birthday Dimi spoils him absolutely rotten because on a regular day he spoils Claude anyway, so he has to make sure his birthday is extra special.
by the time the day is over Claude is exhausted and flops onto their bed and passes out! he’s so tired from all the spoiling but he’s so happy, fuzzy and warm inside. 😌
Dimi will be extra vigilant and sleep lightly that night because he knows Claude is gonna be sleeping heavily and peacefully all night. 😌
#DimiClaude#also dimi won't put up with any nonsense on claude's birthday so like if someone tries to be mean to claude#or someone tries to bring up politics and make drama out of it then dimi will just knock them out on the spot#he ain't even dealin with that today he just gonna knock em out and have em brought to their bed#if they get up and try again dimi is just gonna knock em back out like he's not even gonna humor them#he's not gonna cause drama and have them arrested or start any arguments that will sour the day#he's just gonna knock em out flat and deal with it another day bc nothing and nobody in the world#is gonna sour or ruin claude's birthday. by now dimi knows claude had a rough childhood and that he never rly#got to have fun holidays or anything bc most of his family didn't want anything to do with him and stuff#so he's not used to his birthday being a special day and he only started to adjust to that at the academy#and even then it was a lil weird for him! and then for five years there was a war so he never rly#got to celebrate or anything during that time so he had one special birthday but it wasn't something he got used to#but his dimi dims won't stand for that!!!!!! he's gonna make claude feel so special every day but on his BIRTHDAY#he's gonna feel like the world was created to prepare for his existence!!!#dimi will make all the time up to claude that he didn't get to have growing up! he'll learn lots of faerghus stuff too!#they'll celebrate a mix of almyra and faerghus styles on their birthdays so that claude gets almyran experiences he missed out on!!!#dimi gets his almyran culture scoops from cyril when it has to do with claude's birthday bc he can't let on to claude#that he's planning something for him so he has to make sure he asks someone else#also dimi calls on dedue and ashe for the main cooking and mercedes for the desserts#and on top of that he makes sure every year claude gets a special present ASIDE from all the loving spoiling#every year claude gets a gift that dimitri buys from someone else but ALSO dimitri will hand make something for him#and claude is always so PROUD OF HIM because sometimes it's stuff like knitting! very delicate work!!!#but his dimi dims has been learning that stuff specifically so he can handmake things for claude!!!#he's been having mercedes teach him things like crocheting and knitting so he can make SPECIAL THINGS FOR HIS CLAUDE#and on one of his birthdays claude gets a super special present from EVERYONE bc dimi has#all of both their friends pitch in to help make claude a special blanket! claude gets very cold in faerghus winters#so dimi has all their friends slowly working on a blanket for a whole year basically. they take turns adding their part to it!#BUT mercedes had a PATTERN planned out for them so it comes out properly! it is very warm and claude loves it...#but claude's favorite part about the blanket is that he can wrap himself in it AND cuddle his dimi dims for super warmth!!!#that's it im out of tags unless tumblr updated them past thirty tags im all dimiclauded out of tags

Hii! Could I get a little sum ANGSTY
For my boy eyeless jack
He eats human flesh, duh. So what would happen if he's skipped out on eating for a bit and kind of goes...crazy and loses control and attacks his s/o?
They just happened to be in the wrong place in the wrong time kind of thing.
Fuckkkkkkkkk
If I get one more angst ask I’m gonna loose my marbles
Like I love it but my goodness it kills me
Speak of the Devil and he shall Appear
Yeah I’m sobbing
Hunger.
That’s all Jack could feel. A hunger he hadn’t felt since his turn. Jack hadn’t eaten in days, it was killing him. He ached for something, anything. Liver, lungs, anything he could get his claws on.
He moved through the forest quickly, back to his cabin. He had a few little things there, not much but something to tie him over until he could snatch a real meal. Just another half a mile, he was practically drooling at the thought of something to eat.
You were in the kitchen, making yourself a sandwich. You needed to go to the store, but that was later you worries, right now you were focused on the sand which in front of you. Jack should be back soon, your mind wondered to the demon. He had been quiet recently, but you never pressed, only silently asking if he was alright.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
The door swung open, Jacks large frame stood darkly at the doorway. He could small meat, blood, the very things he was craving. God, he needed it. Needed the satisfaction that only a good meal could bring. You peaked your head around the corner, smiling in his direction. His non-existent eyes locked onto you, and he pounced.
Grabbing you violently, he sunk his teeth into your arm, creating a deep gash. You yelled out in pain and confusion, tears seeping out of your eyes. Jack tore off a bit of flesh, chewing and sallowing like his life depended on it. You tasted sweet and he swore he could smell your perfume.
“Jack! What the hell-“ he grabbed you once more and bit into your arm again. You desperately tried to pull away, screaming and crying for him to stop.
He let go of you and you stumbled back, knocking over the dinner you had prepared for the two of you. Sobbing, you took off running to the bathroom and locked the door. You tried to bandage yourself, but through watery eyes and body shaking violently you couldn’t manage. Sliding down the wall, you curled in on yourself, hiding away from the world.
Jack stood in the kitchen, the gears in his head slowly turning. He glanced down the hallway and could hear your sobs. Jack thought for a moment, then walked to the door and knocked quietly. You yelled for him to go away, he stared at the door in disbelief. What the hell had he done?

"Now let's talk about Shigaraki and Spinner. Can we talk about Shigaraki and Spinner please? I've been dying to talk about Shigaraki and Spinner, okay?
Spinaraki, this connection keeps comin' up over and over and over again. Every once in a while, Spinaraki crumbs get given to me, to you, to us all. Spinaraki, Spinneraki, I look in the manga, this whole story is Shigaraki/Spinner!
And so I say to myself, I gotta read carefully, I gotta get a hold of myself, I gotta abide by canon! Otherwise, i’m just daydreaming, it’s gonna just be fanfic I made up for myself. So I try to keep my expectations low, I prepare myself for disappointment, I know that Spinner is just a silly guy, a side character, he can’t be all that important, Shigaraki probably doesn’t even care about him. They’re loser gamers, they play fucking League of Legends. They’re villains, they want to destroy everything, Spinner is some mindless follower, Shigaraki is fucking possessed. They’re nothing. They’re toxic. It’s the imitation of a connection, they have no genuine wills, they don’t know what a real bond is.
And what do I find out? What do I find? There’s Chapter 379, when Shigaraki breaks out of AFO possession and he thinks of Spinner. Right there smack in the middle of the page is Spinner, Spinner at his most heartfelt moment when he pleads, fucking pleads for Kurogiri to save Shigaraki and the others, when he deviated from AFO’s control and manipulations and machinations to wake Kurogiri up his own way, powered by the strength of his friendship with Shigaraki. Shigaraki wasn’t even there for that, and yet that flashback panel is there.
So I decide, "Ohhhh shit, buddy, I gotta dig a little deeper." There's no Spinaraki connection? You gotta be kidding me! I got the next panel on the same page, a flashback of Tenko, Inner Tenko, Core Tenko, the pure, innocent five-year-old, angry and insulted at being accused of having no friends - of not understanding what it means to have friends, because he would not feel the need to destroy. Shigaraki remembers this moment that is his core, bursting out temporarily from the depths of possession because it had not, could not be consumed or overtaken or erased, it’s part of his indomitable will, and through the strength of that will he’s bursting out completely to end AFO’s possession. Shigaraki says he doesn’t need OFA, doesn’t need to follow AFO’s goal; Shigaraki mocks AFO for thinking he could ever control everything. Shigaraki thinks of having friends. Shigaraki thinks of Spinner. All right.
So I start marchin’ my way to the next chapter, and the next, and the next. I read and I say, “Noooo, that was nothing! That was Shigaraki still wanting to destroy everything, still misguided, still refusing to be saved and given a real friendship! This pseudo-connection can be broken, will be broken, make way for something better.” And when I reach Chapter 411, what do I find? There’s Shigaraki, saying he’s going to make the horizon Spinner is looking forward to. There is Shigaraki recalling Spinner's line in Chapter 239, where Spinner thinks Shigaraki’s horizon is the prettiest thing he had ever seen, and Shigaraki knows this, somehow.
And see, what Shigaraki can probably remember that he was the one to set Spinner on this path, when he spoke of the beautiful horizon he could create, in Chapter 222, because he wants to destroy everything.
Back then, Shigaraki hadn’t remember that he could not, would not forgive the world for rejecting him at his most desperate and helpless - but he knew he hated the world. Due to a betrayal of his very existence he could not yet name, Shigaraki felt like he could never feel happy again, because he had the lump of lead in his heart spewing out maddening rage, and before that he had once been an empty shell, completely hollow–the same way Spinner feels. The same words Spinner had screamed in his face just moments before. They had gotten along okay before that, they had talked about games, they had hung out, Spinner watching over his shoulder as he played a game he brought along. They were homeless and penniless, but gamers gotta game, and Spinner would hover during and Shigaraki would let him. But then the League went and killed the CRC and Spinner shut down the next morning, terse and skeptical and angry, remembering the discrimination he suffered, raging at Shigaraki at him for not doing anything, for not leading the League to a changed world. Asking him, where are we going with all this? Where are we going? Just another thing Shigaraki is witness to - like Twice, an insane guy with no place in society; like Toga, who wants an easier world to live in; now Spinner, who was made to accept he was a lizard freak.
Everything he witnessed in the world, up to that moment, and then ever since, a world that refuses and rejects and denies, a betrayal of their existence - he’s going to destroy it all. That’s where they’re going. He’s going to give his friends that changed world.
He’s going to make that horizon that Spinner wants.
Half the manga is Spinaraki crumbs! This story is a goddamn love story!"

I love how Paul got his butt kick. The reader and Garrett having kid, so cute. I can see them having a little girl dressed in a black panther pjs.
Can I get a another twilight fanic
Jasper x lioness shapeshifter This is after Edward and Bella are dating. They both do not like the reader
Edward can not read her mind.. where she imprints on him knowing he is vampire but turns out to be a teacher's aide. He knows she is a shapeshifter but does not know what animal yet. They pass notes back in secret. Eventually she tells him she has a little girl. She brings her when she gets invited to dinner at the cullen's. Dinner happens and they all hang outside. Edward being the whine ass he is , calls the reader some names. She tells Edward to stop and he continues it gets bad enough, the major comes out and tells him to back off. Edward then threatened the reader's little girl. The major goes to kick his butt, but the reader pulls him back and that's when she shifted into a lioness, tears Edward legs off ( they get put back on). She did shift back into a human. she changes back into regular clothes, Everyone has noticed she has vampire bite marks all over her body. She explains she's immune to vampire bites.
Feel free to add anything.

Generations ago, (y/n)'s ancestors were bestowed with a unique and powerful gift — the ability to shift into the form of a magnificent lioness. This shapeshifting ability was a sacred inheritance, passed down through the family bloodline. For centuries, their clan had embraced their dual nature, embracing both the human world and the wild spirit of the lioness.
As the latest inheritor of this remarkable legacy, (y/n) found herself straddling two worlds. Her lioness form was a majestic embodiment of strength, grace, and primal instincts. It was a bond that connected her to the natural world in a profound way, allowing her to run through the forests with the wind in her mane and the earth beneath her paws.
But (y/n) wasn't alone in her journey. She had a three-year-old daughter, a little cub who might carry the same shapeshifting gift within her as she grew older. The potential for her daughter to also become a lioness shapeshifter once she reached puberty was both a source of pride and a cause for concern. The thought of her child embracing this ancient legacy brought a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
Tragedy had also shaped (y/n)'s path. Her daughter's father, the man who had shared a part of his life with her, had fallen victim to hunters. The loss was a painful reminder of the challenges faced by their kind. The existence of lioness shapeshifters was often kept hidden from the human world, a secret that was essential for their survival.
In search of a fresh start, (y/n) decided to move to the quiet town of Forks to finish her senior year of high school. The lush forests and serene surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for her to navigate both her human and lioness identities. She hoped to shield her daughter from the dangers that had claimed her father's life, all while preparing her for the day she might come into her own shapeshifting abilities.
In the serene town of Forks, (y/n) had settled in with her daughter, creating a new life for themselves. Every morning, for the past week she would drop her precious child off at daycare before heading to school. As she walked through the school campus, she noticed a group of students she hadn't encountered before, the Cullens. Among them, Edward seemed to be particularly perplexed.
Unbeknownst to him, (y/n) possessed a unique quality that made her impervious to his mind-reading ability. It was as if her thoughts were veiled in a shroud of secrecy, hidden from his probing senses. This anomaly intrigued and frustrated Edward simultaneously, stirring emotions he hadn't experienced in a long time.
He had grown accustomed to effortlessly delving into the thoughts of those around him, deciphering their fears, hopes, and secrets. Yet here was (y/n), a enigmatic enigma whose thoughts remained tantalizingly out of reach. This lack of access to her mind left him puzzled and eager to uncover her mysteries.
It was now time for history class at Forks High School, (y/n) found herself seated next to Jasper Hale. It was a surprise to her that he didn't seem affected by her scent, unlike the rest of his family. She could sense his calm and controlled demeanor, which was nice to come across especially when she’s been around hormonal students all day.
As the teacher assigned them to work together for the day's lesson, (y/n) and Jasper exchanged polite greetings. They began discussing the topic at hand, and to her surprise, she found that they had quite a bit in common. They shared a mutual interest in historical events and had similar perspectives on some key aspects of history.
As they delved into their assignment, their conversation flowed effortlessly. They exchanged thoughts and opinions, occasionally sharing anecdotes and insights that kept the discussion engaging. (y/n) noticed that Jasper had a deep understanding of human emotions, likely due to his unique ability to sense and manipulate them, not that she knew that.
As the class continued, (y/n) realized that Jasper's presence had a calming effect on her. His aura of tranquility seemed to resonate with her lioness shapeshifter instincts, creating a sense of comfort she hadn't expected to find in the presence of a vampire. She was intrigued by his ability to control and channel his emotions, wondering if it was something she could learn from him.
Throughout the class, (y/n) and Jasper discovered even more shared interests and viewpoints. They both had a penchant for analyzing historical events from multiple perspectives, and their discussion delved into various aspects of culture, society, and human nature. It was a refreshing experience for (y/n), who had often felt like an outsider due to her unique nature.
As the class session came to an end, (y/n) and Jasper exchanged smiles, acknowledging the unexpected connection they had formed. While their backgrounds and circumstances were vastly different, their shared interests had bridged the gap and created a bond of understanding. They both looked forward to future conversations, eager to explore their common ground further.
As the weeks went by, the tension between (y/n) and Edward seemed to grow. Edward's frustration with his inability to read her mind had turned into a resentment that extended to Bella as well. Bella's loyalty to Edward led her to share in his feelings towards (y/n), even though she didn't fully understand the source of their dislike.
Meanwhile, (y/n) and Jasper's friendship continued to flourish. They spent time discussing history, sharing stories, and learning from each other's unique perspectives. They also participated in passing notes to one another in class, jasper had shared his secret of being a vampire and she had shared hers of being a shapeshifter, though he wasn’t sure which kind yet.
Jasper had become one of the few vampires (y/n) felt truly comfortable around, partly due to his calm and understanding nature.
One day, Jasper extended an invitation to (y/n) for dinner at the Cullen house. He suggested that she bring her daughter along, as he was aware of her presence in (y/n)'s life. Intrigued by the offer and hoping for a chance to bridge the gap with the Cullens, (y/n) agreed.
On the appointed evening, (y/n) and her daughter arrived at the Cullen residence. She felt a mixture of nervousness and curiosity, unsure of how the rest of the family would react to her presence. She held her daughter's hand as they approached the front door, taking a deep breath to calm her own emotions.
Jasper greeted them with a warm smile and invited them inside. The Cullen family was present, and their initial reactions ranged from surprise to curiosity. Bella and Edward's expressions were guarded, while others seemed more open-minded.
As the dinner progressed, (y/n) and her daughter engaged in polite conversation with the Cullens. She was careful to maintain a respectful distance from Edward, sensing the animosity between them. However, she found herself enjoying conversations with Jasper, Carlisle, Esme, and even Rosalie, who was surprisingly welcoming.
All seemed to be going well, until it wasn’t.
During dinner, as (y/n) tried to engage in pleasant conversation with the Cullens, she noticed that Edward's behavior was taking a hostile turn. He began making belittling comments directed at her, seemingly determined to provoke a reaction. Despite feeling hurt by his words, (y/n) chose to ignore him, not wanting to escalate the situation.
However, Edward's snarky remarks continued throughout the meal, and it became clear that he was intentionally trying to upset her. Bella, seated next to Edward, appeared uncomfortable with his behavior but didn't intervene. (y/n) could sense the tension in the room, and she could see that even Jasper was growing increasingly irritated by Edward's conduct.
As the dinner progressed, (y/n) focused on maintaining her composure and not allowing Edward's comments to get to her. She continued to converse with the others, seeking solace in the more positive interactions she was having with the rest of the family. But Edward's continued taunts were like a persistent thorn, making it difficult for her to fully enjoy the evening.
Eventually, Jasper's patience reached its limit. Unable to tolerate Edward's behavior any longer, he spoke up, his voice laced with frustration. "Edward, that's enough. You're out of line," he warned, his tone firm.
Edward looked taken aback by Jasper's intervention, not expecting such a strong reaction from his usually calm and collected brother. Bella looked equally surprised by the turn of events, her attention now fully on the unfolding confrontation.
Jasper's gaze locked onto Edward's, his golden eyes filled with a stern resolve. "You need to watch yourself, Edward. This behavior isn't acceptable, especially in our home," he continued, his voice unwavering.
(y/n) watched the exchange, a mixture of relief and surprise washing over her. She had not expected Jasper to speak up on her behalf, but his actions sent a clear message that he was not going to tolerate any mistreatment of their guest.
“Thank you jasper,” (y/n) says before taking a glance at her daughter who was preoccupied with playing with Rosalie and Emmett’s hands, “But I was just going to continue ignoring him.”
“He has no right,” he muttered.
The atmosphere grew increasingly tense as Edward continued to make snide remarks during dinner. (y/n) could feel her own patience wearing thin, and it was clear that Jasper's restraint was also waning. Just as she thought the situation might escalate further, Edward muttered yet another offensive comment under his breath, the final straw that broke the camel's back.
Jasper's normally composed demeanor shifted dramatically, and his alter ego, the Major, emerged with an intensity that was impossible to ignore. In an instant, he was on his feet, his eyes darkened with a mix of anger and determination. He moved swiftly towards Edward, who looked both surprised and apprehensive as Jasper's presence commanded the room.
Without hesitation, Jasper's powerful punch landed squarely on Edward's jaw, sending him crashing back against the wall with a stunned expression. The force of the impact left Edward momentarily incapacitated, his usual arrogance replaced with shock.
However, the sudden altercation was far from over. Just as Jasper's punch landed, (y/n) felt a surge of fury and protection coursing through her veins. The sight of Edward being physical with jasper seemed to trigger something primal within her. In an instant, her lioness instincts took over, and her transformation into her lioness form was swift and decisive.
With a roar that echoed through the room, (y/n) lunged forward, her massive claws and jaws aimed at Edward. In a flash, her powerful grip closed around his leg, and with a single, swift motion, she ripped it off. The room was filled with a combination of shock and horror as the unexpected violence unfolded before their eyes.
Rosalie, ever alert to the well-being of (y/n)'s daughter, acted swiftly. She scooped up the young child in her arms and, together with Alice, quickly exited the room, shielding her from witnessing the gruesome scene that was unfolding.
The aftermath of the chaos was palpable. Edward's pained cries filled the room, and (y/n) was still in her lioness form, her eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and a wild, protective instinct. Jasper, his alter ego the Major receding, stood nearby, his expression a mix of concern and understanding.
Carlisle, Esme, and the rest of the Cullen family were left in shock, struggling to process the sudden violence that had erupted within their midst. The events had unfolded so rapidly that there was little time to react.
As the reality of what had transpired settled in, the room fell into an uneasy silence, broken only by the sound of Edward's labored breathing. The unexpected turn of events had left everyone shaken, and the fragile equilibrium of the room had been shattered.
With the threat to her daughter's well-being now removed, Rosalie focused on ensuring (y/n)’s child remained unaware of the chaos that had unfolded. She, along with Alice, would provide comfort and reassurance, sheltering her from the darker aspects of the situation.
In the aftermath of the incident, the Cullens were faced with a difficult choice: how to address the repercussions of the violence and the rift it had caused within their family. The once peaceful evening had transformed into a tumultuous display of emotions, leaving them all to grapple with the unexpected and its far-reaching consequences.
As the tension in the room slowly began to ebb, (y/n) felt the shift within herself and started to revert to her human form. The transformation was accompanied by a sensation of reorientation and a return to her human senses. She looked around, her eyes locking onto the concerned faces of the Cullen family.
Esme, with her innate warmth, stepped forward and offered (y/n) a set of clean clothes. Grateful for the gesture, (y/n) accepted the clothes and retreated to a more private corner of the room to change. The new attire felt refreshing against her skin, helping to soothe the lingering tension that still coursed through her veins.
Once she was dressed, (y/n) rejoined the Cullens, her composure steadier now that she was back in her human form. But it wasn't long before their attention was drawn to the faded bite marks on her arms and exposed legs. The telltale marks were evidence of her encounters with vampires, and the curiosity in the room was palpable.
“I would like to apologize for my behavior just now”, she says. “It wasn’t my intention to come into your home and start a fight.”
With a sigh, (y/n) met their gaze and knew she needed to explain.
“Oh my,” esme holds a hand to her mouth noticing the scars. “Your arms…”
"I've had my fair share of run-ins with vampires, some of them not the friendliest." She looked down at the faded bite marks, her tone a mixture of sadness and determination. "But the thing is, I'm immune to vampire bites."
The room fell silent as her words hung in the air, the Cullens processing the revelation. It was a rare trait, one that set her apart even further from the supernatural world she had become a part of.
Carlisle, ever the inquisitive and compassionate one, stepped forward. "That's quite a unique ability you have there, (y/n). Would you mind telling us more about how you discovered this immunity?"
(y/n) nodded, appreciating the genuine interest in his voice. "It was a gradual realization, really. I had a few encounters with vampires who tried to bite me, but the venom had no effect. After a while, I realized that I could resist their bites completely."
Esme's expression softened with empathy. "That must have been quite a shock to discover."
"It was," (y/n) agreed, her gaze distant as she recalled the past. "But it also gave me an advantage. It meant I could defend myself in ways others couldn't."
Jasper, who had remained quiet during the conversation, finally spoke up. "Your ability is indeed a remarkable one. It must have served you well."
(y/n) nodded, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "Yes, it has. But enough about me. I believe we have more pressing matters to address."
The Cullens exchanged glances, the events of the evening still fresh in their minds. As (y/n) steered the conversation toward the present, they realized that the chaos that had unfolded had implications that needed to be addressed. With the weight of the situation heavy in the air, they began to discuss their next steps and how to navigate the aftermath of the unexpected altercation.
In the midst of uncertainty, (y/n) found herself among a group of supernatural beings who were grappling with their own challenges and emotions. The bonds formed that evening were complex and layered, and the newfound understanding between them would shape the path they were destined to walk together.

comfort.
cw; angst if you're an overthinker ; zhongli being gentleman ; malewife hex ; one shots? (tell me if there's more)
abt; sometimes all you need is comfort from your dear bf/hb. [ w/zhongli, sonny brisko, kamisato ayato, hex haywire, and levi ackerman ] (don't ask me why the fandom kinda messed up)
!; grammar can be incorrect, im still learning ; all that has been written was only my opinion/imagination, and still have the opportunity to be inaccurate/ooc ; im taking suggestions/correction
chat; my back and thigh hurt after staying in school for its event, and maybe i could upload the wattpad thing after this.
Tumblr media
-- ZHONGLI is the best comfort character on my list. he's just too gentle that no guy can be compared with this peepaw. i imagined that whenever is time to sleep after a tough and long day, he'd cuddle you soo close to him and whisper sweet nothing until you fell into the dream world.
-- or when you be down badly, he will get you close to him, whispering sweet affirmation. and not asking 'what happened' because that was a shit of nonsense.
-- first of all, SONNY is a silly man, i mean he has a wild personality that makes him too silly. when he noticed you are in a bad mood i feel like he just gonna tell you silly jokes? he can't do 9 multiplication but at least he can comfort you.
-- but then what can he do to boost your mood? just as simple as his smile with the bright blonde color on his head can create sunshine or even the entire sun to brighten your mood.
-- well, in my opinion, AYATO wasn't there when you be down, but he heard about your condition from maids, thoma, or ayaya. after hearing that, he would also be down because he can't help you right that.
-- but as he opened the door of you two shared bedroom, what he found is just your figure sleeping peacefully. he gets close to you and starts muttering a lot of apologies, and adorations for you.
-- you could just heal up then being the entire sunshine if HEX uses his power on you, while it means hurting him too. but, he is a malewife afterall, he can just cook everything that you love, prepare everything that you want/need, and cuddle up with you until his cat gets jealous.
-- the second option is hex's voice, the one that makes you fall for him in the first stream (at least it was me). hex noticed that you L-O-V-E his voice, so he tried everything to keep you hearing that ultra-hot-deep-fried voice.
-- before we start, i need to let you know that LEVI is the sweetest thing that exists in this world, because of his tsundereness. then, i can make sure that levi wouldnt dares to tease you in your bad mood.
-- he doesnt even dare to talk anything to you at that time, he just gonna pull you into a deep and long hug and said maybe one or two safewords, such as 'i love you', he is so aware when it comes to your mental health, and feel such grief when he sees you cry, even though it wasn’t because of him.

A long, long time ago, there was a god. The creator, to be exact. Oldest being to ever exist. Much older than even Celestia.
Said creator did what they did best. Create. And so originated Teyvat and everything within. Not many have had the honor of seeing the creator, since they were very, very tired after using so much power and energy, they fell asleep and left Celestia in their power.
And time went on and on and on. Creations were still intact. Celestia made sure the world knew about you, their creator. Statues were built, as well as temples. Offerings were given to you each day and people prayed to you each passing second.
At first, humans only prayed to you and only you. They saw you as their saviour, their hero. But faith can crumble, and it did.
You were gone for more than 5 thousand years, not even leaving a message every now and then to ensure you are still there, listening to their prayers and their problems.
Now they pray to other gods. Mostly Archons. They were here, they listened and protected their own people, unlike you.
Where were you?
Noone knew, not even Celestia.
But oh dear, when you showed up, chaos was brought upon Teyvat.
Tumblr media
You crunshed your eyebrows. The light was blending you to much for your comfort.
Wait.
Light was blending you! Is that the sun?
You suddenly opened your eyes. Not believing what you saw. You were finally here! After so many years you got your well-deserved rest and created a body to descend down to Teyvat once again.
How you have missed feeling the soft grass under your feet, the wind breezing towards you, the cold water leaving shivers on your body and the sun warming you up.
You sigh, closed your eyes and relaxed. It's been so, so long. Sure noone's gonna miss you for a few additional hours.
Tumblr media
Walking around Teyvat has been so fun! So many new things to explore, new animal species you were sure you didn't create. Such as... cats...? You couldn't remember the name, but it didn't matter to you! Your were finally happy. They made you happy!
And wait until you find civilization!
It was fun, really fun. You were astonished by these structures these so called humans build. Back in the old days they were called mortals. Blinded by the beauty of Mondstadt, as they called it, you didn't seem to notice the person in front of you.
So you walked right into them. Not fully used to your new body, you fell. You squeezed your eyes shut, preparing for the pain... that never came? Could you even experience pain?
You felt soft, cold hands around your wrist. Your eyes slowly opened. Right in front of you was quite the handsome man. Short blue hair covering his black eyepatch. A blue top with white sleeves covering his arms. You can't help but notice a blue glowing ball hanging at his hips. What's that? Before you could even apologize for your clumsyness, he spoke first.
"My, my. What do we have here?" His voice was deep, yet soft. His accent wasn't something you were used to.
Do people still speak the original language? Or do they only know English?
"I'm sorry, sir. I must have been blended by the beauty of this city." You smiled at him. Your voice traced with grace. It wouldn't surprise him if you were hidden royalty.
For a moment he couldn't process what you said. You raidiated grace, importance and power. Not even speaking of your breathtaking beauty. Those eyes, sparkling at every new thing you encountered (which was like everything). Your lips, forming a smile at each passing citizen.
"No worries, I take it you're new to Mondstadt?" He smoothly responded, hiding the fact of his flusterness.
Your eyes lit up. He sweared it was the most beautiful he's ever seen.
"Yes, I certainly am! The architecture is so different compared to the other cities I've visited." Other might say you lied, never seeing other lands such as Liyue. Others might deny it saying you saw cities from 5 thousend years ago and other just don't give a fuck.
"You don't mind me giving you a tour, right? And I'm Kaeya by the way." Kaeya. What a fascinating name. One you've never heard of.
"Kaeya. What a beautiful name. Of course, I don't mind a tour! I'm [Name]. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

DAN GANSLEY DATING HEADCANONS
synopsis… headcanons about dating dan gansley!
ft. dan gansley, mera salamin (mentioned), indus tarbella (mentioned)
tags… epithet erased spoilers, relationship study
word count… 822
a/n… seeing this ask in the morning genuinely woke me up grinning and delighted like THIS is the reason we made this blog!! i humbly offer you food – do enjoy!! (i think my excitement is obvious…) ✧ 🦝
Tumblr media
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 You are God’s strongest soldier.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Dan is a good guy, honestly, but he’s also consistently dangerous to be around for a variety of reasons. (Mostly the horrific luck.  The crime too.)
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 I can just imagine him trying to rizz you up and then when he goes to lean on the wall he falls over, and then falls down the stairs that are conveniently there as you watch, dumbfounded.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 He fancies himself a smooth-talker, but he is sweating BULLETS anytime he’s confronted with having to have a conversation with you he’s a WRECCKKKKK.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 I imagine he’ll fall for you because you almost seem to cancel out his bad luck.  You remember his keys, help him out when he’s using his abilities, and you wait for him, never straying too far ahead.
You watch as Dan pats his pockets, brow furrowing and moustache moving as he scrunches his face in realisation.  As he’s about to lament loudly for everyone to hear about how he lost his keys, you swoop in like an angel and take his hand, leaving the item in his palm.  He stares at them as you simply walk away, then he looks up at you.  For once, Dan Gansley is shocked into silence.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 You’re kind of his blessing in disguise, and everyone can kind of tell his soft spot for you.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Despite this… when he’s actually in the process of falling in love, he’s a bit stuck by a river in Egypt for a hot second.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 It probably takes someone like Mera or Indus to mention how obvious the crushing is, or already congratulating him on a relationship that doesn’t exist yet.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Being the easily flustered guy he is, he’d sputter and insist that they’re dead wrong, but the deadpan or blank look he gets in response makes him realise he probably has to think deeper about what you two are.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 UGH, can you imagine his confession??  He probably tries to create this grand gesture of affection for you and it’s all on fire (literally) by the end of it.  He’s convinced he’s ruined it.  And yet you just take his hand???  And return his feelings??????  Dan Gansley could die right now and he’d die the happiest man on the planet.
It’s over.  Well and truly over.  Dan stares on in horror at the display he had prepared for you in flames.  It had been going so well, too well, and it just had to go wrong while you’re standing in front of him. “Ah– d-don’t look!  Listen, I have another thing to show you; something, uh, better!”  He insists, the wild magic already manifesting in his hands.  “I’ll do something, prove I’m worthy of your…” He trails off when your hand takes his, and the magic vanishes into the air as you meet.  Dan glances up at you questioningly before noticing the amusement shining in your eyes and the gentle smile you give him. He understands, and he returns with a lopsided grin of his own.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 That post like “if i had a lame ass boyfriend i would hype him so much”???  Yeah that’s the dynamic.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Omgggg you’re like those parents who are so affectionate with one another it makes the children (Mera) groan loudly and crave death.
“Mera, if you do not take care of the paperwork, Dan Gansley over here, ah, is gonna hit on his beautiful partner in front of you for all to see—” ”OH GOD NO FINE I'M DOING IT I’M DOING IT.”
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 (Credit to 🦇 for that one.)
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 You are the richest person in the world, if you count your Gansley bucks.  (However, this dumbass does expect payment with them for kisses.)
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Talks big and hits on you, but shoot right back with flirtation of your own and he’s down for the count god rest his soul.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 You’re introduced with your surname being Gansley at least once.  At LEAST.  He can be so confident at the most inconsistent moments.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 When people ask about your relationship he likes to weave tales about how he’s your daring hero and you depend on him and his power.  Please butt in with the truth and you’ll bear witness to this man beet red in the face.
“Ahhh, you should’ve been there!”  Dan laughs, as if remembering a fond memory.  “There was a pit, right in the middle of the railroad, and though I was at my wit’s end, I saved my dearest with a—” “Hold on.  Weren’t you half-covered in gold for that entire chase?”  You, passing by, interrupt.  Dan pauses, and drops his head down as the other begins to laugh while you tell the real story.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 He’s slightly afraid of endangering your life, what with his bad luck.  He’d hate to lose you.  Where would he be without his angel?!  (Which, actually, became his favourite nickname for you.)
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Ugh I wrote so much for this i love him too much.  Live laugh love Dander Fun Gansley.

Let's (re)Read The Eye of the World! Chapter 48: The Blight
Tumblr media
Concept art by Filip Štorch and shrunk down just a tad or five, rendering his signature illegible. This reread compresses lots of things - for example, I fit spoilers for the whole of The Wheel of Time into every post! If you don't like that, it's best to be somewhere else.
This chapter gives us our last new chapter icon of the book: another tree at night, but this one twisted and bent over. It's got kind of a look of a flipped Aes Sedai symbol, with the tree making up the upside down fang (appropriate since saidin got the corruption and all) while trying to obscure the upside down flame of the moon. I don't think this symbolism ever means anything, but it's fun. This kind of icon means "Blight", or occasionally the worst of the things from it.
A large steel mirror, carefully turned down, away from the sun, now, glittered atop each tower below the high iron cup where signal fires could be lit when the sun did not shine. The signal would be flashed, to towers further from the Border, and by those to still others, and so relayed to the heartland fortresses, from where the lances would ride to turn back the raid. Were times normal, they would.
I can't help but feel that this kind of set up is actually less effective than signal fires would be. You have to figure out where the sun is, hope there's no clouds in the way or that it's not too early or late in the day to catch the light, angle the mirror appropriately, and hope the people at the other side manage to catch the glint of the tower and are also able to relay it down the line. Much simpler to just have the signal fires which can be lit at any time and are easily protected from the rain. Am I crazy?
“To escort you here means we may not reach the Gap before the fighting is done. I am robbed of the chance to stand with the rest, and at the same time I am commanded not to ride one step beyond the borderpost, as if I had never before been in the Blight. And My Lord Agelmar will not tell me why.”
If you liked fighting Trollocs so much, you shouldn't have become a Darkfriend. This is the Wheel punishing you, bub. All the other squadron commanders are gonna fight just fine cuz they're not filthy traitors to existence.
Eastward they would join other steel serpents, from Fal Moran, behind King Easar himself with his sons at his side, and from Ankor Dail, that held the Eastern Marches and guarded the Spine of the World; from Mos Shirare and Fal Sion and Camron Caan, and all the other fortresses in Shienar, great and small. Joined into a greater serpent, they would turn north to Tarwin’s Gap.
Is Jordan just describing the movements of armies here, or is he creating the imagery of the Great Serpent itself preparing to strike against those who fight to slay it?
Rand nodded. He could feel it, too, though he could not say what it was exactly he was feeling. The wrongness went beyond the first warmth he could remember out of doors this year; it was more than the simple fact that it should not be so warm this far north. It must be the Blight, but the land was the same.
Rand's Shadowsense is about as refined now as it's ever going to be.
The Shadow can only corrupt what's already there - the land's the same, there's just something wrong with the area the Shadow's claimed.
“Flowers can kill in the Blight, and leaves maim. There’s a little thing called a Stick that likes to hide where the leaves are thickest, looking like its name, waiting for something to touch it. When something does, it bites. Not poison. The juice begins to digest the Stick’s prey for it. The only thing that can save you is to cut off the arm or leg that was bitten. But a Stick won’t bite unless you touch it. Other things in the Blight will.”
Good to know that stick bugs are thriving in the post-apocalypse due to Aginor's horrible experiments.
The big youth glared at the obscene forest through which they rode as he might have at an enemy, or the banner of an enemy. He caressed the axe at his belt as if unaware of what he was doing, and muttered to himself, half growling in a way that made the hair on Rand’s neck stir.
Lan: Keep quiet or we might get killed.
Perrin: WOOF WOOF WOOF!
At least when Mat's making noises right now it's cuz he's throwing up. Get it together, Perrin. It ain't like there's wolves in the area to be encouraging you to focus on your powers.
“No two among the Ogier have found it in exactly the same place. The Green Man seems to be found where he is needed. But it has always been beyond the high passes. They are treacherous, the high passes, and haunted by creatures of the Dark One.”
Really this just makes the Green Man sound more and more like a Fantastica immigrant, since a key point of the world of The Neverending Story was that it couldn't be mapped because places didn't have spatially defined relations to one another, but instead travelers ended up where they needed to be going. I wonder if Jordan ever read the book.
For one brief instant the sun’s rays caught the shattered tops, and Rand’s breath stilled. Not hills. The broken remnants of seven towers. He was not sure if anyone else had seen it; the sight was gone as quickly as it came.
Remember what I was saying about the inefficiency of the mirror towers?
Nothing that big could live in a lake that size. Those couldn’t have been hands on those tentacles. They couldn’t have been.
Not gonna lie, the fact that our heroes never had to fight this bizarre aquatic Shadowspawn (or really any of the horrifying beasts of the far Blight) is one of the biggest disappointments of the series. And honestly as much as I'd like to blame my usual scapegoat, it's not as if Jordan did much with the Blight after this book himself.
“It is a simple thing,” she said, “a bending, so any eye looking at us sees around us, instead. We cannot have the eyes that will be out there seeing our lights tonight, and the Blight is no place to be in the dark.”
Moiraine says that it's a simple thing, but we don't actually see it get used that much. Rand picks up the trick in the mid-series, but he is of course the extreme end of the scale. I don't recall any other big instances of it getting used, which make me think that it's a simple weave geometrically but demanding of so much Fire and Air that Moiraine is one of the few modern Aes Sedai who can cast it.
“There,” Egwene said as if it were settled. “I know. I will make you my Warder, when I’m an Aes Sedai. You would like being a Warder, wouldn’t you? My Warder?” She sounded sure, but he saw the question in her eyes. She wanted an answer, needed it. “I’d like being your Warder,” he said. She’s not for you, nor you for her. Why did Min have to tell me that?
Probably because if you were hellbent on keeping Egwene's love no matter what you'd end up dying halfway through book two. Gotta love Moiraine's, "I can find shit for all of you to do in Tar Valon" claim too. That's "not technically lying" for "You all can spend five minutes getting instructions on where to go next as we march you lot through the Prophecies, then leave immediately."
The Warder was still awake, seated not far from him with his sword across his knees, watching the night. To Rand’s surprise, so was Nynaeve.
Not gonna lie, I kinda wish that every book had had a subplot that Rand (or one of the other six major characters) was completely oblivious to until right before the climax when suddenly all the subtext comes rushing to the forefront. It would have been fun.
“I will never shame you.” The gentle tone, like a caress, sounded odd to Rand’s ears in the Warder’s voice, but it made Nynaeve’s eyes brighten. “I will hate the man you choose because he is not me, and love him if he makes you smile. No woman deserves the sure knowledge of widow’s black as her brideprice, you least of all.” He set the untouched cup on the ground and rose. “I must check the horses.” Nynaeve remained there, kneeling, after he had gone. Sleep or no, Rand closed his eyes. He did not think the Wisdom would like it if he watched her cry.
The saddest thing is, at the end of the day, Nynaeve and Lan will marry and she will have the sure knowledge of widow's black. She's going to outlive him by centuries.
The other sad stuff of course includes: Lan's spent his whole life making himself miserable for no reason (he's still an amazing fighter after he and Nynaeve bang it out), he's making Nynaeve miserable for that same lack of reason, and Rand and Nynaeve don't have a relationship where he's able to comfort her in any meaningful way, so the best he can do for her is pretend that he's asleep.
Depressing chapter end, but don't worry: next time things get scary instead!

Battle Nexus AU: The Pit Boss
A word of warning, my Battle Nexus AU as a whole is meant for mature readers, though some shorts may be cleaner than others. This is not a feel-good series. I would liken it to “Game of Thrones” as far as the type of mature content you may find in the different shorts. Read at your own discretion.
 First short: “Branded”
The Pit Boss
The colosseum was used for many things: exhibitions, games, battles of blade and skill, and even public executions. During these events, the amphitheater would be full of screaming spectators of every caste, rich and poor alike. The place would be loud and teaming with energy as all manner of life forms came to watch.
But when the colosseum was not in use, it was never empty. Contained within were the permanent residents of the battle arena. Their home was the underground catacombs beneath the amphitheater, otherwise known as The Pits. Here was the entire world of those kept as warriors for the Battle Nexus Championships. Mutants mostly, along with the occasional prisoner of war or convicted felon. All who lived under the arena were property of the Daimyo.
Those of the arena lived, slept and ate battle. When not participating in active fights, there was only training. When the colosseum was not in use, the warriors spent their days in the arena out in the sun, honing their skill, preparing themselves for the next event. At night, they were confined to their cells down in The Pits. And their jailer was known as the Pit Boss.
This was usually an ex-fighter, one who was now too old or too wounded to continue in the battles. If a great warrior found favor with his master and lasted long enough in the arena, he may find himself a Pit Boss. The current Boss of the Daimyo was a Triceratron named Traximus. He came from somewhere outside the Nexus, a concept many of those within The Pits didn't understand. Most of them were illiterate, uneducated, and mutants created specifically for the games. All they knew were The Pits and the colosseum. A world outside the Nexus was beyond their comprehension.
For most of them.
Donatello knew of other worlds. In his youth he had been taught to read—as had his brothers—even though a warrior needed no such skill. As children, they lived in a dojo run by their sensei, and on odd weeks, a young mutant that smelled like flowers would drop by, and she would bring knowledge with her.
She showed Donatello the world of books. Always bringing him something new. Though it was limited to whatever her owner had in his library: astronomy, philosophy, history; it was still something. It still taught Donatello that there was more out there than his little dojo. There was more out there than the Battle Nexus. No matter how far one went, there was always MORE.
This was something Donatello thought about often. On the nights he was allowed to be out under the sky, he would look at the stars and think of the expanse of existence. Even during the day, he would sometimes get lost in thought, daydreaming and wondering about all the things he didn't know. All the things that were still out there to learn.
“Donnie!” Michelangelo's voice cut through his pondering. “Are you gonna train? Or are you just gonna sit there with your head in the clouds?”
As usual, Donatello settled for a non-verbal response. He never spoke unless he had to. In this case, straightening into a fighting stance was enough confirmation that he was ready to spar. But before they could begin, motion to the side caught his attention.
A line of shackled mutants was being marched through the arena. Warriors trafficked in, owned by other wealthy citizens of influence who sent them to fight in the games. These new arrivals would be housed in the cells on the opposite side of the area, safely away from the Daimyo's warriors who lived there.
Their arrival signaled that the turtle brothers' time in the sun would be cut short so the new fighters would have opportunity to stretch and train. This was normal. Trained warriors, prisoners and criminals were always being carted in and out of the arena. And they always had their own Pit Boss-their own jailer-to keep an eye on them.
What Donatello didn't expect was that he would recognize the Boss holding the chain of tethered mutants. Donatello would never forget him as long as he lived: Drex. He was a lizard mutant. Tall, lean, striking to look at with his deep emerald skin highlighted with beautiful markings of yellow and lighter green. He walked with a limp, but Donatello was unable to register that much. The panic had already set in.
Tumblr media
Michelangelo was unaware of any of this until he saw Donatello's pupils shrink in fear and his brother go deathly pale right before his eyes. There were very few things in this world that would cause such a reaction in his unshakable brother, so Michelangelo was in full fight mode as he turned his head to look at what Donatello was staring at. Then he saw the mutant lizard and it all made sense.
“Donnie...” When he turned his head back around, Donatello was gone.
He had fled the area, racing back to the safety of the cages which held him and his brothers prisoner at night. Donatello did not stop until he threw himself to the ground of his cell, shaking uncontrollably. Drex was here. He hadn't seen him in years. He hoped to never see him again.
“Donnie.” Leonardo's voice called to him from the door of their cell. He too had noticed his brother's panic attack. “Are you alright? Talk to me.”
But Donatello, the grown warrior—one of the Battle Nexus Champions—wasn't there.  He was far away, back in time when he was thirteen years old.
***************
As soon as the four turtle brothers started to show signs of puberty, the Daimyo's agents began showing up for visits. Master Splinter would gather the brothers at the dojo and make them show off what they've learned under his tutelage. The boys loved it. They thought they were making their master proud, and the Daimyo's agents always looked pleased when they saw how the brothers were gaining in skill so quickly.
And one day, the agents came for them. The four brothers were shackled and put into a carriage, being told they were to be removed from their master—the only father figure they ever knew. The only home they ever knew. And they were to then be moved on to the next part of their training. Just has much as he had been saddened to be torn from his home, Donatello was devastated that he had to leave all the books behind.
Warriors weren't encouraged to read. Most of them didn't know how. They were uneducated in all matters except that of the sword. And Donatello could not abide that. At the training camp he spread what limited knowledge he had with whoever wanted to learn. Literacy had been his main goal. He would teach any of the students who were interested how to read. And on hot summer nights, he would talk about all the random knowledge he knew. Mostly about the stars and the universe—the science of space. As that had been the brunt of the sort of books he had access to.
At the training camp, he had been known as the chattiest young fighter there. If he hadn't also been one of the most skilled thanks to his sensei, maybe he would have been in trouble. But as long as he was leaps and bounds ahead of even the older students, his passion was tolerated. His know-everything attitude was overlooked.
At least, by the adults running the camp. The trainees kept their own kind of order. Especially the older ones. Those who were nearly old enough to be purchased by wealthy mutant owners, to be branded and shipped of to battle arenas. They didn't always like this know-it-all new-comer and their ringleader was Drex.
Drex had made it his life's mission to bully the much smaller Donatello. All the normal petty pranks: the tripping, the jeering, the ganging up on him. Donatello took it all in stride, never letting it get him down. Even getting a few licks in himself when it got physical. He also never told his brothers it was happening.
But eventually, they found out. And Drex's gang got the beat down of their lives by three very angry, smaller, younger turtles. There were no other mutants of their species at the training camp. The turtles were always teased for what they were. Jokes about them being slow had already gotten old the first week they were there. The fact that they were hardly getting any taller as they aged was the second favorite point of all the insults.
So when three baby turtles managed to not only get the drop on Drex and his cronies, but beat them to a pulp, he was furious. A poisonous, toxic rage that had been incubating in his soul since his own childhood bubbled to the surface. His pride would not stand for it. He demanded satisfaction for this egregious offense.
After weeks of waiting for the right moment, it happened. The group of them managed to catch Donatello alone one night. Attacking him from behind, he was stunned before he realized what was happening. And while he was down, all the older boys beat any part of him outside his shell that they could get their fists on.
And that should have been enough. An eye for an eye was the law of this jungle. But Drex was cruel and mean and prideful. He didn't want to just win, he wanted to destroy. He wanted to snuff out any light he found. So they held Donatello down. They forced his neck out so he couldn't tuck it back into his shell.
“You think you know everything,” Drex hissed as he sat his much heavier frame on Donatello's shell. “Well my sensei taught me things, too.” He produced a knife. “Like where to cut snitches.”
They held him down. They covered his mouth. Drex cut into his skin.
Fortunately for Donatello, they were discovered before Drex could finish his work. The mutant lizard was shipped out that night for the games, still covered in blood. Donatello was immediately taken to the medical bay, which saved him from bleeding out. But he still had a deep, ragged scar across his neck that remained pale and prominent into adulthood. And the unseen scars remained even deeper.
************
“Donnie, snap out of it!” Raphael ordered, slapping his brother on the shoulder.
Donatello was suddenly brought back into the here and now. He looked up to see all three of his brothers standing over him. His hand went to the scar at his neck, gnarled and bumpy under his touch.
“There he goes, he's okay,” Michelangelo said in a hopeful tone, patting his brother on the shell. “You can handle this, bro. We know you can.”
Donatello let out a long breath and then smiled at him. There was no room for panic attacks or trauma, not an inch could be given to momentary weakness. Not here.
Leonardo crouched next to him, looking him in the eyes. “Tell me,” he ordered. “Tell me you can keep it together.”
“I'm fine Leo,” Donatello rasped. “It just surprised me.”
His words came out barely as a whisper. It was as loud as he was able to be with his damaged vocal cords. He had been lucky he was able to regain speech at all. But Drex's actions had the intended affect. Even after he was able to talk again, he never tried to teach others. He never spoke of philosophy or the stars. He hardly spoke at all. Whatever went on in his brain stayed there as his secret.
After that, he was never the same Donatello again.
“How did that piece of shit end up becoming a Pit Boss at his age?” Raphael grouched as he sat himself on the other side of Donatello.
“Did you see his leg?” Michelangelo said. “There's no way they'd let him back into the fights.”
“Too bad they didn't just chop him up for parts. It would be the only way he's worth anything.”
“Too bad none of us ever got to fight him in the ring.”
Raphael glanced at Leonardo who had that look in his eye. Something was brewing in his brain.
Right then, Traximus walked back and stopped in surprise to see all four turtle brothers already in their cell.
“Fresh meat's here,” he told them. “So everybody's in while they get arena time.” And with that, he locked the four brothers in their cage where they were meant to stay locked in until the next day.
**************
Drex walked the line of locked cells, making sure each was secure. His master would be arriving the next day to watch the fights. To see how his warriors would fare against those owned by the Daimyo. Drex used to be one of those warriors. Until he received a horrific wound to his leg. One that turned infected and so gangrenous that it had to be amputated at mid-thigh if he were to survive.
A wound like that would have taken him completely out of the circuit. He would have been sold on the black market to whoever wanted the rest of him. Most mutants that were no longer lucrative were killed and sorted into parts to be used as meat or in potions and powders, depending on the type of mutant and the clientele.
But it just so happened that Drex's Pit Boss had died under mysterious circumstances and his master needed a new one. Very lucky, indeed. Drex, who knew the business, but was unable to fight, was a perfect candidate. And thus he was able to continue to live within the system that created, bought and sold, and ultimately killed his kind when they were no longer useful.
And the life of a Pit Boss wasn't all that bad. Though he was still owned, still a victim of the system, he was also the jailer instead of the one being jailed. While those waiting to fight in the battle arena were kept in locked cells at night, he was free to walk the catacombs. To keep an eye on them; lord over them. He preferred this. It was about as good as a creature like him could get and he was content with it.
Especially now that he had made it to the big leagues. His warriors were good enough to compete in the grand area, the colosseum near the Daimyo's palace. A grand place where he had never had the opportunity to fight before he was injured. There was no honor greater than this. And if his warriors did well today, he may find himself here again. This was the best his life had ever been and Drex found himself actually feeling quite satisfied as he checked the cages to make sure all his warriors were tightly locked in their cells for the night.
Then, he was left to do as he pleased. Turn in for bed when he pleased. And the freedom of that alone was blissful. He stood at the gates of the arena, leaning on the iron bars as he watched the sky. He puffed at a cigarette—one of the few luxuries he had ever experienced—thinking of what glory the next day would bring him. He didn't notice he wasn't alone until he heard a very slight sound behind him. His warrior instincts kicked in and he spun around.
Barely illuminated by the lamp light were the silhouettes of four turtles. Though it had been over a decade since he had seen them last, Drex knew them instantly.
“Well, if it isn't the Daimyo's Battle Nexus Champions,” he grinned, showing off his sharp, needle-like teeth. He flicked the glowing butt of his cigarette at the nearest terrapin mutant and it bounced off the plastron. “Have you come to check out your competition?”
The four didn't say anything, didn't move.
“You know, I've kept tabs on you. No one thought you would make it this far. Any of you. Not a bunch of slow, clumsy turtles. I guess you showed all of us. I actually look forward to seeing you guys in the ring.”
It was Leonardo who finally spoke. “No. You won't.”
Drex had no time to ask what they meant by that when the four of them suddenly rushed him.
************
There was a mere ribbon of light in the dawn sky when the alarm sounded. As a permanent resident of the arena, Traximus was one of the first on scene to see what had the guards so agitated. He saw with his own eyes the lizard mutant dead on the ground. His glassy eyes were wide in horror, dry and sightless now. His throat had been cut and there was congealed blood everywhere.
Guards were dispatched in all directions in attempts to find the murderer. Killing a Pitt Boss, someone's property, was no petty offense. Traximus wandered back to his side of the pits in a daze. A Pit Boss murdered right in the shadow of the Daimyo's palace. A great deal of important people would be upset about that. For Traximus, his only concern was if the murder was a political statement against all Bosses, or if this message was only meant for its victim. Either way, his first order of business was to double check his own wards to make sure all the very dangerous fighters under his watch were still securely locked away.
He walked along the rows of cells, checking all the locks. A few fighters were awake, having heard the alarms. Some had heard and went right back to sleep. His last stop was the large cell that held the four brothers. It was rare to keep this may warriors in one cage. Most were kept in single cells. But any handler of the four deadly terrapin brothers found out quickly that the whole litter of them would go absolutely feral if they were split from their brothers. It was how they became the first warrior team in the history of the Battle Nexus. Something that became the hot new trend in the fight circuit.
As Traximus walked by their cage, he saw them sleeping in a pile of shells and green limbs in the corner. This was typical for the turtles. They slept close, kept an eye on each other in the night. Though they seemed a little more clingy of each other this night with Raphael and Michelangelo practically sleeping on top of Donatello. As if trying to bodily protect him from the world.
As Traximus watched them, Leonardo was suddenly before him, standing at the door of his cell, a sentinel between the Pit Boss and his brothers.
“What do you want?” the turtle asked without emotion.
“Our visiting Pit Boss was murdered last night. You wouldn't have happened to see anything suspicious, would you, Blue?” Of any of the turtles, it would have been this one to have noticed anything. Nothing escaped his eagle eye and he was almost always awake, looking after his family.
Before the turtle could answer, there was a slight squeal between them of a metal door creaking open just a fraction. Both looked down to see the cage door was not closed or locked. Leonardo grabbed it and tugged the door closed. The lock latched into place, now securely keeping him in.
“No,” he told Traximus, looking him right in the eye. “I don't know anything about that.”
Now Traximus had a choice. He could accuse the Daimyo's beloved champions of murder—implicating himself as an inept Pit Boss who couldn't keep his wards under control. Or they could all die—mainly him. The Daimyo himself visited the turtles, his champions. The mutants that made him the most money by far. He spoke to Leonardo and called him by name. If someone was taking the fall for this death, it wouldn't be the turtle team leader.
“Good,” Traximus finally replied. “Let's keep it that way. Make sure you're all cleaned up for this morning's inspection.”
He turned and walked away. Leonardo watched him go, a few specks of blood still freckled on his plastron.

📜VIXX “Comeback after 4 years and 2 months, an activity I have always longed for and thirsted for” [Interview ①]
Group VIXX expressed their feelings about their comeback after four years and two months.
VIXX recently met with Ten Asia at a cafe in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and told a story.VIXX returned to the fans' side with their fifth mini album "CONTINUUM" in four years and two months. How do you feel about coming back to your fans after a long time?
Ken said, "It feels new to see you on stage after four years.I really wanted to see the fans and I was looking forward to it while preparing for the album."I was excited about what the fans would have expected and how they would feel, and I prepared with a good heart among the members," he said.
Hyuk said, "I'm so excited because it's been almost four to five years since I was on a music show, and I know that the fans will be as excited as I am."It's a continuation of those days these days.As I think about coming back with a more mature appearance, I'm waiting for the preparation with half-worried and half-anticipated responses and whether you'll like the performances and music we've prepared."
Leo, Ken, and Hyuk are all busy with personal activities such as plays and musicals.Nevertheless, what is the driving force behind the comeback?
Leo said, "It's both a thirsty part and a long-awaited activity. In particular, it is our values melted in the name of the album, and I thought we should continue to create values for continuity. So I don't think there was much difficulty in preparing the album," he said.
Hyuk expressed his gratitude, saying, "I think it was possible because each member existed and there were fans who believed in us, despite the physical limitations of being busy regularly and being physically and mentally."
Ken said, "Honestly, it was so hard, but it was so good."It reminded me of the old days, so I had a burning heart."
How could they continue their desire to return to VIXX?
Leo said, "I think it's different for each member, but they had the same things in common.Because we are happy on stage, we had no choice but to play as artists, and those achievements and processes were able to protect us, so we wanted to be together as VIXX.We are close to each other," he said confidently.
Meanwhile, VIXX's fifth mini album "CONTINUUM" will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 21st, and the solo concert "VIXX LIVE FANTASIA" will be held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on December 9th and 10
📜[Interview] VIXX, 11 years of joy, sorrow and pleasure...There's nothing wrong with the three of us.
After 4 years and 2 months of hiatus, new album. Take off the "concept idol" and put on more weight. Leader N is absent due to his personal schedule. "Three of us can fill up more than that".
[Seoul = Newsis] Reporter Choo Seung-hyun = When they first came out to the world under the name of "VIXX," the six-year-old became four after 11 years. It has been four years since they were scattered due to membership withdrawal, agency transfer, individual activities, and military service. They gathered under the name VIXX again. It is to show that it is firmly in place.
VIXX will make a comeback with its fifth mini album "CONTINUUM" on the 21st.It released a single "Gonna Be Alight" in January to mark its 10th anniversary, but it has been four years and two months since its official album. It is also the first album released by Leo, Ken, and Revolution 3.Leader N (Cha Hak-yeon) was unable to participate because of her scheduled schedule, such as filming a drama.Leo thought of his fans first, saying, "We had four years and two months to release an album at this time.""N already had works to do, so I couldn't do it together, but he wanted to do it so much.""The timing was not right," he said.
There was also a sign of disappointment among some fans. This is because there has been a long absence of a leader."I'm sorry to disappoint you," N said in a handwritten letter after reading such feelings. "I'm truly grateful and sorry to the three members who still recognize me as the eldest brother of VIXX and worry about me together."I'm already in my 30s, but I won't forget that my roots are VIXX, and I'll do my best to repay you with a good look," he said.
"N may feel sorry for the fans, but I hope you don't feel too much pressure from the members. Some people may sound sad, but I hope you like N more. We're friends and older brothers, so we're going to be more disappointed in ourselves." (Leo)
Not everyone can be together in physical time, but VIXX is connected.I put such a message in the album "Continuity," which means continuum. They say that they are constantly growing even when they are alone, which is the constant development of the team.Leo said, "There are members who want to learn out of a radical desire.I was surprised to see the youngest Hyuk, and now he is good enough to sing the chorus, he said. "At some point, I'm not hiding the lack of members, but each of them has grown in size, so I changed to 'you can show it even if it's not me'."
The members' growth and strengthened personality can be felt in the title song "Amnesia."It is a medium tempo song based on R&B that features the dreamy vocals of the three members. The lyrics, "We end up attracting each other even in distorted memories," represent VIXX's situation. It was a little out of showing the team's color that was so unrivaled that it was called a "concept idol."
"It would be a lie if I didn't have a sense of duty about 'concept idol'.But I didn't want to melt something symbolic. The genre of K-pop has become something that has to be modified.I didn't think it was progressive for us to follow the trend again.I tried to bring VIXX's own identity, weight, and darkness to life the actors' moments.I melted something cinematic and noir into the music video." (Hyuk)
His strong performance was saved for ten minutes. He emphasized masculinity with choreography using the members' physicality. The choreography team Free Mind and Wiedam Boyz Bata collaborated. The members said in unison, "The performance difficulty is high.""One of the issues I faced was how I could fill the weight of the title and name VIXX.There were a lot of parts that we didn't do well in this choreography, so we tried to fill it up with the amount of practice. When I saw the video, I said, "It's good." (Leo)
During the hiatus, I also experienced a different culture in the music industry.Hyuk said, "I only heard of the challenge through rumors. We had to go into the rumor and face it, but I was worried about what to do by learning it on the day," he said. "I'm trying to enjoy it in the situation with seniors and juniors."He said, "I'm combative and open-minded.""Ken has a lot of greed for variety shows. It feels like we can't adapt to the new culture, but YouTube contents have been activated these days, he said, adding, "I want to give memories to those who expect various aspects of Bix."
A solo concert will also be held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul from the 9th to the 10th of next month. It's been a long time since we performed, but all seats were sold out on both days."We're people too, so if it wasn't for the pressure, it's a lie.As much as you've waited for us for a long time, the fans' interest in us and wanting to run around makes us more excited. The moment a singer can't forget is the stage.Someone might be worried."How should the three of us fill it?"We can do well enough, we can fill in more than that." (Leo)
It is a difficult process in many ways, but the teamwork has become stronger. For a long time now after being a trainee, they have become brothers and have been reading each other's hearts."Team activities may seem like only releasing albums, but individuals have to give up on various schedules starting from performances. When I saw that other members also showed their will for the team and appreciation for their activities, I felt a sense of stickiness. We were together when we had the best time, but we also spent the saddest and most difficult times in our 20s." (Hyuk)
VIXX will face another hiatus. This is because Hyuk has not yet fulfilled his duty of defense. This album could be like a stepping stone to determine the direction of VIXX in the future."I can't just value performance, but I think things that are gradually accumulating will work.Considering the genre and activities, I feel like I'm at a new starting point." (Hyuk)
"Fans must have been looking forward to the comeback for four years and wondering when it would come out.I always said, "Don't get hurt and see you in good health."I really want to tell you that I missed you so much." (Ken)

Diary of a Junebug

Accepting the transient nature of life and the dangers of holding on to what no longer exists
Sango City is in full bloom thanks to the Ikebana Festival. After visiting Kaede, I was looking forward to finally visit Tsukiko and meet up with the rest of the Sango group.
Connie and Pai have some downtime again so they’re making the most of it before things pick up again soon. I remember last time, when I was in Adrikha, they were in the process of finalizing the paperwork for Marippe. Assuming that everything goes through and no issues stand in the way, Connie and Pai should be able to travel to Marippe in a couple weeks. Fingers crossed that things go smoothly this time!
For now, since everything’s submitted and they just have to wait for the final approval and other stuff, Connie and Pai are hanging out in Sango for the festival. Unless something else’s going on, they’re probably gonna stay here until it’s time to be up and about again. Since things will soon get hectic again for them, it’s a good idea for them to take it slow so they can mentally prepare themselves. Given how their journey and adventures have gone so far, there’s no telling what Connie and Pai will get themselves into next.
In terms of Connie and Pai’s journey, Jamie brought up some concerns, specifically about Pai. It’s hard to believe, but the duo has been traveling together for a long time now. And eventually, whether they like it or not, their time together will come to an end. Connie’s made it clear that they don’t expect to make it out alive - that’s kinda expected from someone like them, not in a pessimistic way, but kinda like accepting the inevitable.
Like I said before, what happened with Raiden, Qingmei, and Dainn was a miracle - or a freak occurrence, as some have called it (though I don’t like the word freak because it seems kinda mean, but I get what they’re saying) - so the chances of Connie and Pai having the same, or even a similar outcome, is unlikely. Jamie and I agree that Connie’s accepted their fate, but the same can’t be said for Pai.
Pai has always been a bit of a mystery to me. She seems like an open book, but at the same time I feel like I don’t know too much about her. Prior to Connie, the only other person who was able to provide some background on her is Jamie, and they aren’t that close. Jamie’s not exactly friends with her, more like acquaintances through other people, so that’s really the extent of their relationship.
What we know is that before tagging along with Connie, Pai was involved in some incident at the Thundering Badlands, which was how Jamie met her. Prior to that, Pai was living with an adventurer named Alistair, who had taken her in when she was out on the streets.
Their relationship, in Pai’s words, was toxic on both sides. Jamie had described him as controlling, the kind of person who tends to play the victim in order to get his way. Pai, by many accounts, can be manipulative herself, but she doesn’t seem to be that way out of malice. She, by her own admission, can’t be left to her own devices for too long, which is why she can come across as needy and clingy. I can get why that makes her sort of unlikable and hard to get along with for some people.
I don’t know if it would be right to say that Pai can be polarizing, but, at least in my personal experience, she’s someone I can only handle in short bursts of time. I don’t mind her company, but she can be tiring to be around after a while. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, just a difference in personalities that can be hard to see eye to eye with.
I wouldn’t be surprised if most of Pai’s issues stemmed from Alistair. Jamie was involved in investigating the incident that ended in Alistair’s suicide. He had opened up a portal, causing a catastrophe that took three years for the city to fully recover from. The locals called him the apocalypse as he almost destroyed a part of the world. As for the rift he created, it’s still there, just contained and completely closed off to the public as they’re still trying to figure out how to close it for good.
Pai’s involvement remains questionable, but I think the general consensus is that she wasn’t entirely involved, she just merely enabled him. Connie had also looked into the incident, so it’s safe to say that they probably know more about it - otherwise they wouldn’t have agreed to let Pai tag along. All they’ve said is that what’s past is done and Pai has the present to prove herself.
Connie and Pai have proven to be a good team, much to Jamie’s relief. She was a bit hesitant at first when she heard they were traveling together as she felt that a duo as that could be either very beneficial or very harmful to each other. In terms of their personalities, it’s kinda like opposites attract. They can bring out the best in each other or enable their worst traits, and maybe that’s why they play off each other so well.
And with all relationships, there are ups and downs. While hanging out with Ayaka, Mamoru, and Hanzou, we had a feeling that something was off with Pai. Mio was the one who had the guts to ask Connie if something was going on. Connie had nothing to hide, but they weren’t quite sure themselves other than speculations that probably aren’t too far from the truth.
Basically, Connie says that Pai’s been unusually clingy lately, and it’s getting to a point where it’s a problem. And not just for Connie, it’s becoming an issue for other people too. But above all, it’s not a major problem, just a minor thing that can potentially lead to a bigger problem in left unaddressed.
There’s also Pai’s smoking habits, which is something we don’t pay too much mind to. It’s just one of those things where we’re aware of it, she disclosed it to us, and we minded our own business as long as it doesn’t interfere with her performance. It’s one of those things she kinda keeps to herself as she prefers to smoke alone, though occasionally Connie joins her.
As for why she does it, all she said was that she’s well aware of the harmful risks, and that’s kinda the reason. Jamie said Alistair was a heavy chain smoker, so she must have learned the habit from him. In my experience, I don’t mind smokers as long as they’re respectful about it, which Pai is. I mean, when she’s at the camp she always asked if it’s okay for her to have a smoke break, and I just tell her to be safe and not wander off too far.
In the past few days since I’ve been here, it seems like either Pai’s stuck to Connie or going off for a smoke break. Maybe that’s also why she seems more irritable than usual. Ayaka’s trying her best to distract Pai with the festivities, even if it meant sacrificing her own free time.
I think it is sort of working since today Ayaka’s able to have time to spend with her brother, who also doesn’t have a lot of free time. Connie’s also able to have some time to spend with Hanako and Michi without Pai hanging over their shoulder. As for me and Daisy Jane, we tagged along with Mamoru and Makoto and explored more of Sango City.
Despite being dragged down by Pai, Connie says they’re not too concerned. Maybe it’s just stress, which makes sense. I can imagine that Pai isn’t probably the best with high pressure, a complaint about her that comes up every so often.
Mei also brought up a good point about how Pai might be holding on too tightly. After all, the fun and adventures can’t go on forever. Connie’s already accepted that sooner or later their time will come to an end. Pai, on the other hand, I’m not sure if she’s accepted that. And that’s probably why she’s being more clingy and overbearing lately.
What happens once the journey is over? More specifically, what will Pai do with herself? I’d hate to think that she wouldn’t care anymore if Connie dies. I mean, she already lost one companion. And even it was a toxic relationship, it was still someone close to her. Who knows how much more she can take?
Like it or not, time will pass, and things will come to an end. It’s not good to keep holding on to something that no longer exists. By doing that, you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment.
I think out of all of us, Mei probably is the closest to understanding what might be going on with Pai. She mentioned that she was once to caught up with the past after dealing with one too many losses, and that pushed her into a corner. She had become so fixated on the past that she became out of touch with the present. In other words, she clung on so hard that she ended up pushing everyone away.
Makoto also said that Pai’s the kind of person who needs to be taken care of. Sure, she could stand to be more independent, but I think some people are more naturally inclined to be dependent on others. Part of the reason why Jamie decided to let Pai tag along with Connie is because she knew that Connie will be able to push Pai a bit so she’d learn to stand on her own. And according to her, it did work, especially since I have seen them on separate occasions.
So, while it kinda looks like Pai’s regressing, it’s not all that surprising or unexpected. I mean, stuff like that does happen. Sure, it’s inconvenient, but it’s just a phase - at least that’s what we’re looking at it like. Again, not too surprising considering how it’s like that sometimes. Just as long as it’s addressed and something’s done about it, hopefully things will go back to normal.
I just hope that when the day comes, when Pai and Connie have to go their separate ways, Pai will still have the will to live and make a life for herself. I mean, it’s her life and she has the right to choose her own fate, but I’d rather she choose to move forward and learn how to stand on her own two feet instead of living off of someone else’s shadow.
Aside from that, the festivities have been good for all of us. I’ve learned a lot about ikebana from Ayaka and it’s a lot of fun. I’ve always been interested in the meaning behind flowers. Plus, making flower arrangements has always been an enjoyable activity for me. There’s nothing like making something that looks pretty, as well as say a message or tell a story.
The Tsukiko side of Sango is different from Kaede, almost contrasting in terms of their environment and color - it’s fascinating! Sango City’s definitely a lot busier than the villages in Kaede. Compared to Adrika, Sango’s a bit more compact and straightforward in terms of navigation.
Of course, the streets were busier than usual because of the festival, though Mamoru says it’s not too different on a normal day. The sakura petals floating around the streets really add to the atmosphere and I can’t help but reach out to grab a few when they come my way.
Mamoru took the lead when it came to exploring the market street. He’s the kind of person who knows how to get the best deals, so he’s pretty popular in these parts. We did a lot of shopping and snacking that day, like we did in the bazaar. Definitely a good way to get to know a city and its culture.
There’s a famous food stall that shows up three times a week and the menu changes depending on what’s available. That day, their signature taro mochi boba was on the menu so we stayed in line for half an hour, which was worth it in my opinion.
We also tried other snacks like gochujang tofu fries, butter crab fried rice onigiri, and salmon croquettes, all which were good. Like I said, the wait was worth it. And since Mamoru’s familiar with everyone, we got a little extra. That part was a bit unplanned so we decided to set up a picnic in a quiet spot.
And of course, I brought a lot of stuff, because, why not? I got some clothes from a popular local designer that looks exquisite while also practical for everyday use. Ayaka mentioned that there’s a seamstress turned fashion designer from Marippe who was originally from here. If I recall, she’s the same person Sumi talked about when she said that she knew someone in Marippe. Knowing Connie, it’s likely they’ll run into her someday.
The book store isn’t on the market district, but it is a place worth checking out. Mio isn’t there, much to Mamoru’s relief. Though, while she is the boss, she actually doesn’t show up in person often as she’s usually busy with other matters. Light novels and manga are huge in these parts, so there’s a lot of those. There’s also stationery, so I had to get a notebook, which was handmade and looks very pretty.
For lunch we stopped by a ramen stall, where we ran into Connie, Michi, and Hanzou. Pai was surprisingly nowhere to be seen as Connie said Aoi and Shiori, a friend of theirs who makes fireworks and lanterns, managed to keep her busy. So we all hung out and caught up before meeting up again hours later at the festival.
It was a nice surprise to see Hanzou again. With Lan spending a couple weeks back home in Yuexing, Hanzou decided to go home too. That happened to line up perfectly with Connie and Pai being in Sango as Connie’s able to train him when it was time for his orientation after being cleared by the guild. Up until then, the last time Connie was able to train and orient a new team member themselves was Amina, back when they were just setting foot in Adrikha.
So far, Hanzou says the training’s going well. Since things are slow at the moment, most of the training has been the running errands type, which isn’t unusual. Connie felt kinda bad that Hanzou couldn’t have come at a better time, but he says it’s fine, especially since things will pick up soon. He’s just glad that he could finally join the team officially after waiting for so long.
Michi’s happy too, especially since he and Hanzou actually applied together, and he was surprised to find out that Hanzou didn’t make the cut. Now, Michi’s bugging Connie to assign both of them on a mission together, which Connie is working on. The way they explained it is that there’s a lot of considerations when dispatching people for missions, so that’s something to keep in mind. Jamie and Raiden have said similar things - in other words, you can’t just send people out on missions just because you can, is what I’m understanding.
Before coming to the stall, Connie, Michi, and Hanzou were with Hanako and Shinobu. Hanako’s busy with work as usual, she’s been patrolling the streets whenever I saw her. Michi also has to work, though he happened to be off that day and was finally able to check out the festival with Hanzou.
After the festival, Hanzou plans to stick around Tsukiko for a couple more days before heading to Kaede with Makoto to hang with Shino. Michi wanted to tag along too, but, of course, he has work. Such is the life of an adult.
The ramen was really good, and thanks to Mamoru, there was a discount. They also gave us some side dishes for free, like natto, tempura, and sashimi. You can’t really go wrong with tempura and sashimi. The natto, on the other hand, it’s a lot better than the first time I tried it - which was from a grocery store - but it’s still not really my favorite.
I think my issue with natto is the slimy texture. The bitterness isn’t really something I like either but I can tolerate that. And seasonings like soy sauce and mayo do make a difference. Mamoru suggested that I add those to make it taste better, and it did. However, the slime is just something I can’t get used to. So, my verdict on natto is that I’ll eat it if offered to me, but it wouldn’t be something I pick for myself. Still, I’m glad I tried it again.
And then we went off our separate ways before meeting up at the festival again later that night to see the fireworks show. Ayaka wasn’t exaggerating about the fireworks being unforgettable. Ever since Shiori took over her family’s shop, her fireworks and lanterns have become a staple in Sango’s festivals.
Later that night, Connie introduced me and Daisy Jane to Shiori, and we ordered a couple crates of fireworks and lanterns to take back to the camp. It’s one of those mystery box type things so I don’t know what’s in there other than it’s all handmade by Shiori and her family. After seeing her work with the fireworks show, I’m definitely intrigued!
I haven’t seen much of Pai today as she was with Shiori and Aoi, but I think they managed to get through to her as she seems a lot happier and more at ease. she actually spoke about making plans with Aoi and some other kids for tomorrow, leaving Connie to be free to do whatever they want.
Shiori did say that fireworks and flowers are similar in terms of their beauty and transience. In other words, stuff like those aren’t meant to last forever, so you only have the present to appreciate them. The same can be said for almost all aspects of life, I think.
Nothing last forever - and nothing should last forever - so we gotta make the most out of the time we have now because once it’s gone, we can’t go back.

Alright, so. First proper post on this site.
I wanna talk about Pokemon.
I've been working on a Pokemon-based world-building project for about two years now, coming up on three, with the intent to make it more realistic, and explain some of the science behind certain Pokemon or behaviors, or at least providing logical explanations. Parts of it have been taken from the games and the anime, and synthesized into a narrative I feel works. Not to say it doesn't need work in some areas (it does), but that's part of why I share it: to have conversations about it, and get new ideas to fill the gaps.
And in some cases, cutting some things out because I don't like them, and potentially replacing them with something better.
I'm gonna have to admit, a LOT of this has been ripped straight out of (or inspired by) fanfics that I've read. I simply liked their ideas about the world, and added them to my world. I'm not claiming them as my own, they're just cool and I believe what they created was a very good or plausible explanation. If you end up seeing something that you might find familiar, don't judge me.
Where to begin... right, overall story/narrative.
The apocalypse is on its way. No thanks to Mewtwo.
When Mewtwo escaped from the clutches of Giovanni, realizing his manipulation and bringing down the entire hidden Rocket Headquarters and bringing an end to the 30-year Rocket Age, he isolated himself away on New Island, with the purpose of ending humanity via a series of gargantuan hurricanes fully capable of wiping every human civilization off the face of the earth.
He didn't, thankfully, as he was stopped, but there were still consequences. The shockwaves of psychic power used to create the storms echoed across the Earth... reawakening the Legendary Birds.
Cue the Shamouti Incident. More shockwaves. Greenfield. Even more.
But those incidents could be covered up. What couldn't was the Sootopolis Catastrophe.
It was a horrifying blow to the people of the world, to know that at least some Gods did exist, and weren't simply fabrications of the ancient past. The International Pokemon League, or IPL, assembled a press conference to address the fears. They confirmed it: the Gods existed, and have existed for a very long time. A government list was posted of the gods that are confirmed to exist, gods that are likely to exist, gods that are unknown to exist, and gods that certainly do not.
And now, the regions of the world are left to wonder: where will the legendaries reawaken next?
I'll give you a hint, it's not Sinnoh. The dominos that are the echoes of power haven't grown strong enough yet to even attract the gaze of the Creation Trio, let alone Arceus. They'll be the grand finale of the narrative.
Instead, it goes to the richest region in the world, of luxury and extravagance, of ancient architecture and diversity, the melting pot of the Pokemon World:
Kalos.
They're not prepared for what's going to hit them.

mayblade oneshot #2
prompts: forest; song; tattoo; cupcake; stars; magical boys (but mainly just magical boys tbh) characters: BBA word count: 3,042
summary: A scene set in a magical boy AU.
late as fck for @may-blade week 2 but sshh
so this AU is old, older than 4kingdoms, but i've never written anything for it. this is directly based on some old notes i have of… well the scenario depicted in this oneshot. the setting is purposefully exactly as dumb as an average kids anime episode plot would be. this probably doesn't make much sense but i did my best to capture the core of this AU with these few words.
☆ ☾ ☆ ☾ ☆ ☾ ☆
“Wow! This place is so magical! It’s wonderful! I never thought such forests existed in Japan!”
“It’s cool and all, but I’m getting hungry.” Takao yawns while lumbering after Max’s ecstatic bounce. “And sleepy. How long are we gonna stay out here?”
“I’m inclined to agree with Takao here… It is getting rather dark.” Manabu’s voice is as shaky as his tread, and he keeps glancing left and right and over his shoulder as they walk deeper into the dark forest path, surrounded by nothing but lush foliage veiled in the falling dusk of the approaching night. He’s clutching his laptop tightly against his side. It’s not like he can let go of it, either way, as it’s literally a part of his body now. Has been for several weeks already.
“No, it’s not as dark as you think. Look.”
They step into a small clearing – not just a clearing, in fact, but a fenced platform for sightseeing over a small ledge along the hilly forest path – and Max stops in his tracks. He cranes his neck back and points a hand overhead, the wide, goofy trademark grin on his face.
And so Takao and Manabu follow his example. The sky has turned into a giant canvas of thousands, millions of diamonds in velvet blue, shining down on them from so far away that none of their middle schooler brain can comprehend it. The sky feels so infinite and endless all of a sudden that it’s making Takao’s head spin. The stars are dancing in his eyes, this masterpiece of gods makes him feel himself so very small.
Well, the world has proved itself a whole lot crazier than he ever expected already, so this sort of feeling isn’t half alarming to him at this point. After all, he now has a magical spinning top in his pocket with a mythical dragon spirit inside that can transform him into a warrior – a “beyblader”, per the magical spinning top, a beyblade – who fights for justice—
Or he would have, if he hadn’t been dumb enough to leave Dragoon in his backpack which now sits on his bed back at a Northern Okinawan camping centre. Their teacher said they wouldn’t need to bring any bags for this rainforest tour – how was he supposed to remember he’d put the spinning top in a side pocket? Besides, Max had done the exact same thing with his Draciel whom he usually kept snuggled inside his overalls, but just today he’d left it behind.
Ah, well. Hopefully the holy beasts won’t be too mad that they’re missing this phenomenal scenery. This trip was a last-minute change of plans, so they weren’t prepared to bring even the beasts with them; it’s not like Takao and Max could have carried Seiryuu and Genbu around in any feasible way during this semi-guided evening tour in the woods, it would have been weird to bring “plush toys” along. It’s already embarrassing enough for Takao that everyone at school now thinks he’s into carrying toys around on seventh grade.
Max’s appearance into their class a month ago made it just a bit better. Everyone adores Max, and since Max is also carrying Genbu around, Takao doesn’t seem so stupid with his Seiryuu. Besides, it’s kind of exquisite to be carrying real magical creatures around and have everyone else think they’re toys. The three of them – Takao, Max, and Manabu – are the only ones around who know the truth, that these are real holy beasts, otherworldly beings and guardians who created the universe eons ago… and now follow them around in convenient dog-like size and cutesy appearance that’s enough to fool other people.
Takao still doesn’t quite get it. How Seiryuu just suddenly appeared into his life by jumping out of the bit in the ancient family heirloom sword in their dojo and telling him he’s a chosen warrior who needs to save the world from the powers of evil. Something about him being one of four with these divine powers and how it’s actually all magic trickled down to him from some other era in a whole different plane of existence where he was the ruler of a world created by Seiryuu.
None of that really makes much sense to Takao – but what does is him being extraordinary. He’s always known there’d be a day when he turned out to be something special. Having spent his childhood watching shows and reading comics about superheroes and athletes with supernatural skills, he’d always wanted to become one. And now he has.
What exactly are these powers of evil that he needs to protect the world from, though? This, he doesn’t really understand either, but the only important thing to him is that he, with his magical powers of good and justice, can help people who are being attacked by those evil forces for whatever reason. The first victim he helped was Manabu, actually, though that day is such a bizarre blur in his mind that if  Manabu himself wasn’t here to confirm it every day, Takao would have thought it was all just a bad dream. He’d coincidentally found Manabu in the middle of the process of transforming into a monster, which was when he’d suddenly heard Seiryuu’s voice in his head calling for him to come to the dojo in order to save the boy. It felt like dumb luck, really, since Takao had been so confused he hardly knew what he was doing that day, and in the end he couldn’t stop Manabu from partially fusing with his laptop – but unless Takao had helped him with his magic as instructed by Seiryuu, Manabu would have been completely consumed by the computer and turned into some kind of freaky cyborg creature.
Fortunately they put a stop to that, and many other such disasters over the past two months. There was a girl so consumed by wanting to become an idol that she couldn’t stop singing and almost turned into a microphone monster; there was a guy so ashamed of his yakuza background that he was nearly consumed by his tattoos and turned into god-knows-what; and of course, there was Max who, after moving to Japan and getting transferred to Takao’s class, nearly succumbed to depression over missing his mother so much – but rather than Takao, he was saved by Genbu who awakened just in time to revive Max’s magical powers. Like Takao, Max was one of the four warriors, or guardians, or ancient kings or whatever they were. They’d been fighting these powers of evil latching onto people’s depressive inner thoughts since, with help from Manabu who, ever since nearly fusing with the laptop, had somehow gained the power of being able to sense when a new seed of evil was about to grow somewhere nearby. He had basically become their monster radar, and then it was up to Takao and Max to save the day.
Except that now they had left their magical spinning tops and therefore their holy beasts behind in the camping centre. Then again, what could ever happen here on this beautiful forest trail in the middle of nowhere in Okinawa? Surely it would have been way too big a coincidence for the monstrous forces to follow them all the way to this remote place…?
“Here.” Max reaches into the pouch in his overalls and hands a small cupcake over to Takao. “It’s not nice walking around hungry.”
“Oh. Thanks.” Takao, surprised but grateful, accepts the iced delight.
“Wait,” says Manabu with a frown, “you are carrying cupcakes around but left Genbu behind?”
Max shrugs. “I guess I thought I took Draciel but it was actually the pastry box.”
Manabu lets out a dramatic sigh. “I’m not surprised about Takao, but I didn’t realise you were so absent-minded too, Max...”
“Hey!” Takao snaps at him, icing on his cheek. “What’s that supposed to mean?!”
Manabu is just about to open his mouth again for some snarky response when he suddenly freezes. The laptop under his arm makes a familiar beep-boop sound, and both Takao’s annoyed expression and Max’s content grin switch shade into alarmed gravity.
The sound means that Manabu’s radar has picked up incoming monster activity nearby.
“Look.” With a whisper, Manabu points a hand beyond their party of three. At the other end of the sightseeing ledge, by a flimsy railing signalling a drop down, a boy from their class has started acting weird. What is he doing there all alone, anyway? Takao, Manabu, and Max have been walking slowly on purpose, to have enough distance from the rest so that nobody could overhear them talking about their powers and monsters. But, it turns out, there was another person there, and now he’s evidently trying to climb the fence while reaching out one hand towards the sky.
It doesn’t look like the boy is trying to jump off the ledge. It’s more like he’s trying to reach up towards the sky from the railing.
“Hey, you there! That’s dangerous!” Takao yells at the boy at once, charging towards him.
Manabu and Max are about to follow; just then, the boy turns around and flings the outstretched arm at them, sending something sharp to dart through the air; Takao barely dodges the assault by somersaulting to the ground.
“Leave me alone!” the boy shouts, glaring at Takao frantically. His eyes have gone mad, and strange, sharp protrusions are starting to pop out of his skin. They seem to glint with gold in the faint light of the nearest lamppost lining the opening. “I have to go! It’s all I’ve ever wanted! I have to get there!”
“Get where?” Max asks him.
“The stars!”
“Oh, for heaven’s sake,” Manabu mumbles next to Max, running a hand through his hair. “What are we going to do? How do you turn him back to normal without the beyblades?”
“Look, uh...” Takao, with his hands now diplomatically lifted in front of him and taking wary steps forward instead of running, “what’s your name again...? Nobuo? You know—”
“I’m going to become a star!” Nobuo shrieks as his body is being torn open by more and more sharp points that keep appearing, his skin turning dark around the piercing wounds. “No matter what! I have to become a star!”
He stomps the dirt with his foot and, to the astonishment of the other three, more small, sharp objects begin to fall out of the sky on them, like hail but deadly.
“This is bad!” Max yells, diving under a tree for cover. “Why’s my Draciel Fortress not here when I need it the most...!”
“Well, what can we do?!” says Takao in response, landing on his stomach nearby while shielding his head from the star hail, despite already wearing his usual cap for cover; Manabu has done the same with the laptop. “No way we can just run out to the camping grounds from here!”
“I don’t know!”
Just as they see the boy preparing for another throwing star assault, and utter, absolute panic begins to set upon the trio for the realisation that this may just be the first time they can’t do anything against a person about to turn into a monster, wondering what’s going to happen if they can’t – they are blinded by a flash of light so bright and sudden, none understand it’s even happening before the flash is already gone. It leaves only a burnt shadow over their shocked, blinking eyes.
Within the polarised chaos of light and dark, something is moving in front of them. And fast.
The next moment, the furiously blinking Takao realises that Nobuo has collapsed and is now lying on the ground on his stomach, unmoving.
“Wait... What... Whoahaha...?” he stutters.
And then, in another blink of an eye, there’s a person standing in front of them who most certainly wasn’t in that spot just a second ago, a person wearing an outfit so white that it sticks out bright like day in the darkness of the night. It fans around him like the sphere of a full moon as he kneels down to check on the unconscious boy on the ground.
“It’s a blader!” Manabu gasps in astonishment.
The person jolts and whirls around back to his feet at Manabu’s voice, his long, white ponytail whishing behind him like a tail. Through the darkness, a pair of sharp amber eyes like two chunks of gold stare at their dumbfounded company crawling out of hiding – and there’s a weapon in the person’s right hand that’s at least as sharp, a long pole of metal with a deadly-looking blade that looks like an intricate lance but is nothing like anything Takao has ever seen before, it seems to be rattling with electric current in his hand while he wields the weapon with astonishing ease.
“Who are you?” he asks, frowning.
“We should be asking that!” Takao says in response, approaching the person cautiously. “Where did you come from? Are you really a blader too?”
The look in his golden eyes softens some. But not much. “I am. Does that mean you are also...? But you were doing nothing to help this boy.”
“We would have,” Max says sheepishly while brushing dirt off his orange overalls, “but our beys are not here... because we’re... well... on a school trip.”
Indeed, they can hear the ruckus of an approaching crowd from somewhere along the forest trail. The rest of the class is making their way back to see what’s going on.
Takao, Manabu, and Max quickly brainstorm a lie about Nobuo having collapsed from exhaustion after climbing all the way to the sightseeing deck, while their new acquaintance transforms out of his magical form in a flash; gone are the butterfly wing sleeves and the lance and out comes not only him in much toned-down appearance, without the cat-like features and purple sheen in his hair, but also the glittering silhouette of a holy beast that hops out of his silver bey and takes form on the ground in front of them. Just barely larger than an average housecat, what the trio of friends now see in front of them is a miniature tiger with white fur, stripes of green, and a tail coated in gold.
“The White Tiger!” Manabu exclaims and squats down to take a closer look. “Byakko!”
The tiger pulls its head back, squinting at Manabu with its slit pupils.
“Did I give you permission to address me?” it says, lifting its chin haughtily.
“My name is Kon Rei,” Byakko’s companion says, completely disregarding his furry friend’s attitude. “I’ve been looking for you – but can’t say this was the way I expected to meet the three other bladers.”
Manabu springs back up, evidently giving up with trying to make contact with Byakko. “Ah, I am not a blader. I’m more like a – an assistant.”
“I’m Seiryuu’s owner,” Takao hurries to say, stepping up. “Or, I mean, Seiryuu owns me, I guess.”
“Genbu’s here,” says Max with a hand over his heart.
“Is that so? Well, then – where’s Suzaku?” Rei asks, rousing the other two to exchange a confused glance.
“Well, we don’t know,” Max then says.
“You haven’t found it yet?”
“No,” Takao admits. “I only just met Max and Genbu not-so-long ago, too.” Although...
“Good!” sneers Byakko from the ground. “Suzaku is a whine-baby, a good-for-nothing! I’ll rather hear Seiryuu’s stupid tales for the rest of my life than that whiner’s voice.”
But Takao’s not listening to the tiger. There’s a memory that keeps bugging him, from the day he was summoned to the dojo by Seiryuu... The memory of a shadow passing overhead, the ominous silhouette of a dark bird much larger than any bird that he knows ought to be, and with multiple phoenix-like tails trailing after it... But he couldn’t even begin to understand why Suzaku would have been there that day and simply passed over him. And Seiryuu didn’t say anything about Suzaku’s presence there, either.
And yet...
“Anyway.” Takao shakes his head and reaches out a hand to Rei. “I guess we should get to know each other. I’m Kinomiya Takao! Maybe you could come with us to the camping centre? Or do you live around here?”
“No, not at all. I’m basically just another camper.” Rei gives Takao’s hand a firm yet not overtly friendly shake. He eyes the rest warily for a moment – but his defiant spirit appears fairly amendable, because he gives them something akin to a smile then. “But I guess I could come with you... I did come to Japan to find the other bladers, after all. Spending a night under an actual roof sounds nice – especially if there’s something to eat there.”
Max lets out a noise. He steps closer to Rei while fishing out one of his emergency cupcakes from his overalls. He hands it over with a wide smile.
“Here, you can have one if you’re hungry! My name is Max, by the way. Nice to meet you, Rei!”
“Uh. Thank you.”
“And I’m Saien Manabu, but everyone calls me the Professor,” says Manabu, straightening his glasses while bowing weakly at Rei. “N-nice to meet you.”
Such was their first meeting with Rei and his holy beast companion, Byakko.
And after their company has left the scene with the unconscious yet unscathed boy that they’ve saved, all that remains at the site of the forest trail is a single dark feather on the ground, unnoticed, shrouded by the surrounding night.
* * *
“I see. So Byakko has united with the rest in Japan.”
Volkov turns his back to his informants and faces the lone throne on the other side of the room. On the throne sits a boy with silvery blue hair and blue triangles on his cheeks, clad in a black cloak, his red eyes staring vacantly ahead at nothing in particular.
On his right shoulder roosts a bird like a black phoenix, feathers like red and gold dipped in night-coloured ink that has soaked through.
“In that case.” A corner of Volkov’s mouth curls into a vicious smirk. “Sounds like you have a job to do in a certain mountain village over in China, Kai.”
☆ ☾ ☆ ☾ ☆ ☾ ☆
i haven't really fleshed out how exactly the bladers "purify" the monsterfied people, so that was left vague on purpose (i'd want it to have more sailor moon in it. something like the life seeds the villains are stealing on the stars season) i couldn't fit much of the holy beasts in here but it'd be fun to write more about their actual personalities and interactions sometime, i put just a tiny dash of that here with byakko.

Ngl I was kinda worried that I wouldn't find anything important to talk about to fill my daily quota of Sanrioposting but here we are
Technically this is roughly half an hour late because it's 12AM right now but consider: Shut
----------------------------------------
So
Tumblr media
Happy Family. The 6th Episode of Season 1. Quite a fitting title, considering what we're about to discuss
Is it just me or is it suspicious as hell that that Kaiju egg just popped outta thin air
Like. A random purple flower that My Melody clearly had no previous knowledge of, and therefore couldn't have planted, just sprouted up out of nowhere one day, left a motherfucking Kaiju egg (Which literally grew inside of it, mind you) of all things on the ground, and then just disappeared
It's almost like it was the work of Magic
...But that's crazy. Magic doesn't exist in Supercute Adventures
Tumblr media
Surely there's nothing a certain fishy wish-granting pet goldfish could've had to do with it. That would be insane
( /s )
Anyway yeah today we're gonna be talking about Fishy. Specifically my headcanons involving them and how they fit into their canon characterization
(Fun Fact: I headcanon that Fishy is Non-Binary and uses She/They pronouns. So if you see me alternating between usage of the two, now you know why)
(Also this post contains the first bit of Headcannoned Timeline lore I've ever talked about. So prepare to see three completely unrelated shows being stitched together as if they were all part of the same universe, because in the Headcannoned Timeline, they are)
Fishy. Hello Kitty's pet goldfish that doubles as a bit of a backhanded genie with no currently known or hinted-at lore. And the only person in Hello Kitty's family who has a single British bone in their body
Whenever someone has a strong yet not too urgent desire, or just whenever she feels like giving people random gifts, there's Fishy. Kinda like my "worry" about breaking my Sanrioposting streak. Which you'll have to excuse my apprehension to, considering that the last time a Magical creature created by Sanrio in an inherently non-Magical world went around trying to make everyone's dreams come true, everyone almost died
However, it's still pretty clear that all they are is just a Lil' Stinker™️, albeit with reasons for acting that way. Like Badtz but more powerful. So I'm not as concerned about their relatively tame, motives as I am about where they're going, and what they're hiding
For starters, everything they do is pretty extreme
My Melody just got a freaking baby Kaiju out of nowhere( Which I headcanon they actually intended to be the new pet she never ended up taking in, by the way). Badtz just wanted to get inspiration to finish his manga. In return, he got sucked into it, even if he did still get what he wanted in the end. Keroppi just wanted to see what Badtz and Kuromi were doing that they were hanging out without thinking to invite him and got sucked into the game they were playing, Pochacco just wanted to win a race and ended up "Dreaming" about running at the speed of light for eternity, and while it's pretty much exactly what My Melody asked for, she and all her friends did still get turned into mermaids, which is still pretty extreme
Also, there's no way they didn't see My Melody's wish during this episode. It's not exactly extreme or flawed in any way, but it is noteworthy
Overall they have a very mischevious and show-y way of granting people's wishes, and don't seem to understand the harm they could potentially do when just casually messing around with power likes theirs as if it's some kinda game
And why do they do this?
✨Attention✨. Essentially, at least. Which brings me to the more headcanonical part of this post:
Their relationship with Hello Kitty
Despite the fact that she sees her as a mother figure, she's actually kinda been with her ever since the beginning. You know how random unexplainably Magical shit happens in the older Hello Kitty shows sometimes?
Yeah
The wishing apple shenanigans? All those weird Darkner-esque being that showed up in Growing Up With Hello Kitty? Santa Claus being real? The whole "Turning back time" thing? That one time Kitty really had the ice despite having bought it in her and Mimmy's imagination? All Fishy
Her fascination with her life in specific came from just seeing her do something stupid one day and being like "I need more". And she's been observing and subtly tampering with it ever since. Kinda like the relationship between Sonic and the Donut Lord before they actually met. And, as you can imagine from that way of describing it, she eventually ended up kinda forming a one-sided friendship with her
But all that changed when one day, something unexpected happened
Hello Kitty came to visit the pet shop that she used to call home. And ever since, it's been. Weird. As if they're supposed to be closer, but aren't. And while she has always wanted to be her friend for real, the feeling is especially strong now. Hello Kitty's like a mother to her now because she takes care of her, but it's kinda hard for her to be like a daughter to her when she(Hello Kitty) doesn't even know she(Fishy) knows what either of those titles are. And neither do her friends. Not to mention, there's also the fact that she's(Hello Kitty) also formed a one-sided friendship with them now. Not in the "Observing" way, but in the way that you talk to a pet about your problems because you know they wouldn't judge you, or just generally "talk" with them, if you live alone, which Hello Kitty does in Supercute Adventurs. Or feel obligated to make more subtle gestures that still imply some kinda deeper relationship like saying "Good morning" and "Good night" to them. Except they don't mean anything, for Hello Kitty does not know that they even have a reason to. And as much as they try to ignore it because "This is just the way things are", and they "Knew what they were signing up for when they got so attached", that. Hurts. Quite a bit.
And,
Kinda like the relationship between Sonic and the Donut Lord before they actually met
It doesn't help that she's even staeted to feel this way about all of Hello Kitty's friends, too
And ignoring the fact that no good opportunities to reveal herself are gonna present themselves anytime soon by the looks of it, there's also the fact that if your pet goldfish reveals that it's actually sentient, magical, and has been watching you ever since you were 6 years old, you probably wouldn't take it all that lightly. Or at least it'd be reasonable for them to think that
Overall, it sucks that all her new Friends and Family will never be able to be true friends and family to her, with how deeply she cares for all of them. But hey, it's not all bad. At least she can do what she's always done: Observe. She'd be lying if she said watching all the random shenanigans they get into, essentially being the series' first ever viewer, wasn't a bonus in and of itself. And besides, even if she can't grant her own wishes, an enby can still dream. She often thinks about what it would be like if she could reveal herself
At the end of the day, she doesn't mean any harm by her antics, she's just lonely and wants to be loved by Hello Kitty and all her friends in the same way that she loves them, and the way they love each other (*Glances at Kuromi and Pochacco* Well, most of her friends). And to compensate for the fact that that's not possible, she gives them "Gifts", and tries to get in on her fair share of their random shenanigans too, in an attempt to feel a little bit closer to them
----------------------------------------
Anyway yeah that's the post. Thanks for taking the time to read my neglected child headcanons about a literal pet goldfish /lh
One more loose end to type up before ending things off though
When Fishy appears in My Melody's Mer-Adventure, she appears to be saying their name twice. But when she says "Fishy", she's not actually saying their name, but rather calling them by what they are. Like how you would refer to a random bird you just met as a "Birdie" or something
If she really was saying their name, then nobody at all being weirded out by them being able to use Magic would imply that they're used to their shenanigans by now. Which wouldn't make sense, because in every other episode they appear in nobody but Hello Kitty knows who they are, and even she's clearly shown to be unaware of what they've been up to

the “Theres only one bed” trope but with a sleeping bag in the middle of nowhere in a tent on a camping trip and with Tsukishima? sign me up!!
Tumblr media
Tsukishima is precise.
He likes routine. He wakes up at 7:30 every morning, showers, has a full breakfast and prepares lunch, runs off to work, and clocks in at 9:00 AM sharp. Never too early, and never late.
He likes living like this. It makes him feel accomplished, for having a routine brings steadiness to his life.
But sometimes the routine is too much and he feels suffocated. Trapped in a day to day cycle, where breaks feel like rain in the middle of a drought.
He doesn't quite know how to cool off, but when you suggest him accompanying you on a camping trip, he can't bring himself to say no. Not when he's been yearning for a break from the buzzing Tokyo streets.
(He has also harbored a crush on you for the past two years, but that's completely unrelated.)
So he packs his bags. He goes shopping for typical camping equipment with you, and he smiles as you squeal at the fancy heated sleeping bags. (He wonders if those really exist or if you're getting scammed.)
You facetime him the night before, giggling and nearly bursting at how excited you are.
“What’s so good about camping anyways?” He asks, hiding his smile under his arm.
“You don't understand, Kei,” a dreamy sigh leave your lips, “it’s not even about the camping! It's just about being in the middle of nowhere and having no worries. Besides bugs. And maybe bears.”
He smirks at the camera.
“Sounds like hell.”
“Trust me, it gonna be worse with you there.”
He chuckles. His heart is full.
-
He picks you up the next morning and pulls you into a hug when he first sees you.
“Morning,” you sigh into his chest. You begin to pull away from him, when his hand finds purchase on your chin. He tilts your head towards him, staring at you and merely basking in your presence.
“What’s up with you?” you whisper. You feel weak. Under his gaze, under his frame.
“Nothing.” He gently pats your cheek, “let’s get going.”
Tumblr media
The camping site is beautiful.
It's surrounded by trees, the grass is as green as can be, and the birds all around create a beautiful tune. He can't fathom that such a site exists in this world -- a world so full of mechanics and smoke. He's shocked. He could live here forever (with you).
The two of you spend the whole day admiring the scenery. You lay on the grass, and Tsukishima captures some photos of you playing around with some butterflies.
It's only when the reds, oranges, purples, and yellows of the sky begin to bleed into the earth do you and Tsukishima begin to unpack. You both know it's late, but you can't find it in yourself to regret your time admiring the campsite.
“Is the tent ready?” You turn around to watch him play around with the tent, trying his hardest to construct the thing.
He's been put on tent duty while you're on fire duty. You'd like to work together, but time is not on your side and the recklessness of your earlier actions begin to haunt the both of you.
“Think so,” he turns to look at you, “does it look okay?”
“As long as it doesn't collapse in on us, we’re good.”
He nods and moves over to you. The fire is beginning to show some signs of life, little sparks floating around the air.
Tsukishima had been wise enough to buy a packaged dinner for tonight, for he knew that the two of you would be far too tired to make an actual meal in the forest.
“Do you want something to eat?” He asks, moving over to one of his bags to fetch the two bentos. It's a simple meal, but filling enough to last you through the night.
You are far too invested in lighting the fire that you don't notice Tsukishima bring a spoonful of rice to your mouth. The familiar smell is what brings you out of your trance, and your eyes light up.
“You’re such a baby,” he comments, but he regardless brings another spoon to your mouth.
“Shut up.”
A small speckle of rice falls at the corner, and Tsukishima uses his thumb to wipe it off. He tastes rice when he brings his thumb to his mouth, and he smirks.
“Tastes good,” he says, watching as your eyes move everywhere but him.
“Shut up.”
-
Night falls and the two of you lay looking at the stars.
The ground is hard on your body, but you don't mind. Half of your body is laid on Tsukishima’s chest, and he brings you comfort nothing else can provide.
He uses his fingers to poke your cheek. “Want to head off to bed? It’s cold.”
“But you're so warm,” you cry, moving your body so you can wrap your arms around his own.
The two of you have never been in such proximity before. You can feel the beating of his heart and you can hear his calming breaths. You can't complain, however, for he exudes warmth that you know you wouldn't find anywhere else.
He picks you up easily.
“We’re going to bed.”
He finds a way to place you on his back, and you wrap your legs around his waist. He carries you over to your tent, as careful as can be, and he somehow opens the zipper with your weight on him.
“I’ll bring out your sleeping bag first.”
You smile.
It’s soon hurled at you, and you begin to take your temporary bed out of the bag. By the time you’re finished laying out your sleeping bag, Tsukishima is still rummaging though his bags.
“What’re you still doing?” You move over to him.
“My sleeping bag isn’t here.”
You blink. Again.
“What?”
“I can’t find my sleeping bag.”
“I heard you,” you talk slowly, “where is your sleeping bag then?”
“Where else could it be, if not here?”
“Don’t be sarcastic with me.”
“It’s at home.”
You pause. You breathe in.
“Why on earth would you leave your sleeping bag at home if we’re on a camping trip?”
“I didn’t do it on purpose.”
“It’s the one thing you had to bring.”
He sighs, defeated.
“You’re an idiot.”
“I know.”
“Kei. You forgot your sleeping bag on a camping trip.”
“I know.”
“What’re we gonna do?”
“I don’t know.”
“You’re gonna have to know,” you roll your eyes.
“Yours is big,” his eyes divert to your sleeping bag. As if protecting it, you move over to sit on top of the bag.
“You want to share mine?”
“It’s big.”
You’re in a staring contest. His eyes don’t move from yours, and yours from his.
You sigh.
“You owe me.”
He smirks.
“You can’t say no to me, huh?”
“Do you want to sleep on the cold floor?”
“Sorry. I’ll shut my mouth.”
“Yeah.”
You sit in a silence that is far from welcoming. The crickets fill the void with their consistent chirps.
“Can I get in?”
You sigh.
“Yeah. Come on.”
You maneuver into the sleeping bag, sighing at the warmth it provides. You don’t forget about your companion, however, for you call him over with a quick gesture of your hand.
He moves in with much difficulty, for the bag is not as big as he originally thought it was. He makes it in and he’s stiff. He doesn’t know if he should hold you, effectively making the area less tight, or if he should keep his space.
So he doesn’t move. He’s as stiff as a stone and you don’t feel him move. His breaths are constant, and you know that he will not find sleep anytime soon.
“It’s okay to touch me,” you whisper.
He tests the waters. He finds your hand beneath the covers, and he holds it. You know it means much more than just a call for warmth. He is asking to enter your heart, to be the one that loves you. To call you his and you give you all of him.
You accept his request by moving to his chest. You hold him close to you, hands still intertwined, and you breathe in his scent. His free hand moves to wrap around your frame, sheltering you from the outside world.
“This is nice,” he says. A kiss is placed on your forehead.
“Yeah. It’s really nice.”
You squeeze his hand tighter.

Where Do Babies Come From?
Tumblr media
꘎♡━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━♡꘎
Tiny feet could be heard padding against the hardwood floors of Tom’s home. He had been in the study room with Harry creating future plans and events for The Brother’s Trust. On his laptop was Sam, who joined the meeting via Facetime
“You know what would be fun? What if we had a little bake off?” Sam suggested through the laptop.
“How would that work?” Harry asked, resting his chin in his palm. “Well I’m obviously gonna be the judge. I want to see you both put your shit cooking skills to the test.” Sam remarked, snickering at the offended looks on his brothers’ faces.
“I’m actually a good cook, Lucas said so.” Tom boasted, a proud smile on his face since his son approved of his cooking. The door to the study suddenly opened slowly, catching the attention of all three Holland brothers. Behind the door was Tom’s ‘mini me’, Lucas.
“Hey, little man!” Harry greeted Lucas, wheeling his chair closer to the entrance of the room. Harry gathers his nephew into his arms and lifts him up to sit on his lap, wheeling back to Tom.
Tom softly smiles at his son, chuckling at the left over pudding that had stained the corners of Lucas’ mouth. Tom lifts his thumb up, gently wiping them away from Lucas’ face.
“Luca!” Sam yelled, wildly waving his hand at the camera. Lucas simply waves, mind too focused on the question that has been in his head all day.
“Dada?” Lucas asks, his tone hinting curiosity.
“Yes, bubbs?”
“Where do babies come from?” The question catches all of the men off guard, especially Tom. His mouth opens to say something but nothing came out. Too many thoughts were running in his head. Why was Lucas suddenly interested in the creation of babies? He knew his son would probably ask him the question one day, but he never expected it to be this soon. He was simply not prepared to tell his son about the cycle of life.
A look of panic washes over Tom’s face as he silently asks Sam and Harry for help. His two younger brothers only shrug with amused expressions on their face.
“Uh—well, did you ask mum?” Tom questions his son, shifting in his seat. Lucas innocently shakes his head, “Nope, mummy was cooking and I didn’t wanna bother her.” The four year old answered, scratching his head.
“You know, speaking of cooking, I think I left my stove open!” Sam said, followed by the sound FaceTime made whenever someone ended a call.
“This seems like a conversation you gentlemen should have, I’m going to help (y/n) cook.” Harry gently sets Lucas onto his dad’s lap and swiftly exists the room. The door closes and Tom is left with his son and the big question of the day.
Lucas only stares at his dad with his big brown eyes, patiently waiting for his dad’s response. His tiny brows furrowed together, “Dada, do you need me to say the question again?”
Tom quickly shakes his head wrapping his arms around his son and pulling him into his chest. “No, I heard you the first time, Lukey.”
Tom’s eyes shift from the ceiling to Lucas, “Well where do you think babies come from?”
Lucas adorably purses his lips together, making his ‘thinking’ face that resembled Tom’s whenever he was deep in thought.
“From mummy’s belly. She eats the babies and then it comes out, like poop!” Lucas explains enthusiastically. His little arms waving around while he talked, making Tom’s heart swell in adoration.
Tom couldn’t help but let out a laugh at his son’s theory on babies. He wasn’t entirely wrong.
“Well, you’re not wrong, it does come out like poop.” Tom acknowledges, his son only nodding in agreement. “Wait, how do you know that babies come out like poop?”
Lucas shrugs, “How else is it supposed to leave mummy’s tummy? When she eats it, she poops it out, like food. Mama said that’s how the digesive system works.” Though he mispronounced the word, digestive, Tom was still impressed at how intelligent his son was. Thankfully, Lucas inherited your brain and your wits instead of his.
Lucas leans into his dad’s chest, hands coming up to lazily pull and smush his dad’s face together. “Is that how it really works, daddy?”
Tom hums, making funny faces while Lucas squished his cheeks together. “Not quite, bubba.” Tom comments, though it came out muffled due to the tiny hands on his face.
Lucas stopped, his bottom lip jutted out, and a crinkle formed on the skin between his eyebrows. “Then how does it work?” The toddler huffed, crossing his little arms.
“Uhm..”
“Do they use magic?”
“No?” Tom responded, though his answer seemed more like a question.
Lucas’ curiosity was peaking and the questions just kept on coming.
“Are babies from the factories? Like in Boss Baby?”
“Not really.”
“Then why did they show the babies in a factory, dada?”
Tom’s mouth was agape, “Because...because—it makes the process look much more fun for little kids?”
Little Lucas frustratedly threw his hands in the air, “But what IS the process, dada?”
Tom releases a breath of air and sits up in his seat. He adjusts Lucas on his lap, who was staring at him intently still waiting for his dad to tell him where babies come from.
“Alright, so when, um, when a woman and a man fall in love with each other. Like really, really, in love, they have all of these feelings.” Tom starts, trying to think of a PG yet somewhat accurate explanation to baby making—sex, in other words.
“Like how you and mummy are really, really, in love?” Lucas interjects. Tom nods and snaps his fingers, “Yes, exactly like mummy and I.”
“So when the mummy and daddy share lots and lots of powerful feelings for each other—it all comes together and becomes one big ball of love. And that big ball of love turns into a baby that grows in the mummy’s stomach for about nine months.” Tom explains, his hands making wild gestures and his face becoming expressive to make the story more interesting for his son.
Lucas’ mouth fell open, “So that’s how you and mummy made me?” A lopsided grin was on Tom’s face as he stared down at his son. The similar chocolate brown eyes that Lucas inherited from him twinkled in wonder.
“Yup, that’s exactly how we made you.” Tom confirms, fondly brushing a hand through the mop of curls that rested on Lucas’ head.
Lucas rested his chin on his dad’s chest. “So I’m a big ball of you and mama’s feelings?” He mumbled, eyes suddenly feeling heavy.
Tom hums, “Yeah, you’re our big bundle of love, sunshine.” He notices Lucas’ head beginning to loll to the side, so he gently places his hand behind Lucas’ head and rests it against his chest.
“That’s cool.” Lucas whispers before drifting off to sleep in his daddy’s arms. Tom is left admiring his son, just like the day he first arrived into the world. Lucas’ features were a combination of Tom’s and yours. He remembers the night Lucas was conceived and the memories that followed after you told him you were pregnant. He remembers feeling nothing but endless love from you and endlessly loving you every single day. Looking at his son, he’s reminded everyday of the love you both share. Lucas was right, he really is a big ball of your and Tom’s feelings.
