“i’ll find you” his words started to fade for you even more as you laid helplessly on his arms. “i swear i’ll find you” jasper desperately hugged your delicate body against his chest as he let the tears fall from his red eyes. “please, forgive me” his voice broke once again while repeatedly asking for your forgiveness. jasper looked down at you and his hand tenderly caressed your cheek one last time before you closed your eyes forever.

Readers POV:
“ I love you” you whisper up at him as you lay your head on his chest admiring him.
“I love you to darlin, more than you’ll ever know” he leans in to kiss you and you make out for a bit before you finally get up and say Prove it . He grins and pulls you closer kissing you passionately as his hands roam over your body.
“I’ll prove it to you everyday for the rest of eternity”
“Yeah?” You whimper out grinding against him. He sighs against your lips as you continue to grind against him breathlessly.
“Let me prove it to you?” You say needy for him.
“Oh darlin. You don’t have to you already have my heart and soul” he kisses you deeply moving his lips to suck on you neck.
“But” he whimpers. “If you have something in mind I’m more than willing to oblige” he says teasingly. You climb off of him and lower your self down to his erection. You hurly unbutton his pants and push them down to his thighs as you stroke him though his briefs.
“Impatient are we ?” He says yet leans back and allow you to finish taking off his clothes, leaving his heavy cock out for you to admire. His cock is throbbing and beads of pre-cum coat the tip.
You take you hand and grab the base stroking him up and down as he groans at your motions.
“Just like that baby”
You take your tongue and spread the pre-cum all over his tip, you spit dribbling down him as you do. Finally you take him into your mouth and begin sucking on him.
You decide you can go further and you push him into your throat, gagging. You look up at him through teary eyes as you bob up and down on him.
You can feel your pussy getting wetter at the sounds he makes for you. Wet spot growing on the pretty white Lacey panties you wore just for him.
“Oh fuck. Your so good at this.” He moans out placing his hands in your hair to control your pace. You moan around him making him whimper out at the vibrations.
He starts fucking up into your throat creating noise. Ack… Ack… Ack… Ack sounds through you bedroom as his tips hits the back of your throat.
“Ah fuck…darlin I’m gonna come…. God your mouth is a vice” he moans out breathlessly. He pulls out of your mouth and you catch you breathe. He looks wordlessly at your fucked out state as tears run down your cheeks and saliva coats your lips as it dribbles down to you chin.
You cheekily smile up at him.
“ come in my mouth” you say and he taps his tip on your lips smearing the salvia there. Then pushing into your warm mouth once again.
“Oh shit” he chuckles out as he begins to fuck your throat again. The sounds your throat makes masking his moans as he reaches his orgasm. He starts groaning and thrusting harder as he gets closer.
Haah…Haah…Haah… is all that’s heard along with your gagging. You loook up at him once more making eye contact with him through your tears finally bringing him to his release.
“Such a good girl.” He says panting out trying to catch his breathe.
“Come here, it’s mine turn to show you how much I love you” he says moving so he’s on top of you. His hands roaming up your body to take off you T-shirt. His fingers gently gliding over your nipples causing them to harden.
You whimper.
“Shh. It’s okay baby. I’m gonna take good care of you”
He carefully takes off the rest of your clothes. Groaning when he sees the wet spot on your panties.
“Is this for me?” He says toying with the little bow on the front of your underwear then dragging his fingers to brush against your clit and play with the wetness of the fabric of your underwear.
You whimper and nod.
“Words darlin”
“Yes sir” you say timidly as your body shivers at his touch. He pushes himself further down your body kissing your stomach and then thighs starting from you knees to were you ache for him. He licks the wet panties and you moan out, eyes rolls back at the sensitivity.
“Hmm. Such a pretty pussy, Made just for me
….I bet if I fucked your right now, I’d have you creaming all over me”
You whimper at his words and grind up into his face.
“Please?”
“Since you ask so nicely” he says taking off your underwear and he groans at the string of slick that comes with it. He throws your panties somewhere in the room and grabs your hips to bring you to his face. With two fingers he opens you up blowing on your clit.
“Oh fuck… please” you whine out
“I’m sorry darlin… I’ll stop” He says as he sticks his tongue between your folds, lapping up your wetness. You moan into you hand. However, the sound of his lapping is much more profound than the sounds you are making.
He continues eating you out like a staved man as you lay limp in his hands, eyes rolling back and legs shaking.
“Can I come please” you ask pleadingly as you look up at him with tears in your eyes.
He doesn’t answer but Instead inserts two fingers into you, causing you to moan loudly. “Oh fuck… please”.
He quickly thrust his fingers in and out of you creating a squelching noise of approval from your soaked pussy. Fingers going in … Squelch and then out … Squelch. You continue to moan loudly as you chase your orgasm.
“Come on darlin. Come on my fingers” he says as he sucks your clit into his mouth. Making you spasm out as you moan and cum in his mouth.
He hurriedly licks up all your arousal as it comes out. Finally you come down from your orgasm and melt into your mattress. He climbs on top of you grabbing you cheeks to get you to open up you mouth and you obey as he spits into your mouth letting you taste yourself.
Finally you prop yourself up and see he’s hard again, despite cumming in your mouth a couple minutes ago. You grab him and pull him onto of you as you kiss him.
“I want you to fuck me now” you say as grind up on him. Your pussy spreading to slide him through your folds and hit your clit causing you to whine out.
“ yeah? Want me to fill you up?” He says grinding on you as you whine out from the simulation of your clit.
“I’m sensitive” you say pushing him back a little.
He finally grabs you legs spreading them to get a good view of you. He spits down on your cunt and spreads it with his tip. He begins pushing in while pushing your legs to your shoulders.
“Oh fuckkkkk” you moan out as his tip stretches you out. You groan at the size of him. Grabbing onto the bed sheets and throwing your head back as you try your best to accommodate him inside you. As he’s pushing into your legs start shaking again.
“Shit. Baby. Are you that sensitive?” He says looking down at you and swiping at your clit causing you to moan out again.
“Come on darlin. I know you can do it.” He says as he continues pushing in. You try and clam down again.
“It’s too big. It’s not gonna fit” you say whinning out at the pressure he’s putting on your walls. His tip already reaching parts of you no one else can.
“I’ll make it fit”
Finally he’s bottoms out and moans as you clench around him, tightening to the point where he can’t move.
“Relax darlin” he says as he kisses you to soothe you , he slowly starts rocking back and forth as he feels you relaxing you hold on his cock.
“Oh god” you say eyes rolling back. As you break the kiss. He trust deep into you causing you to moan out loudly and cover your mouth with your hand causing him to chuckle out a laugh at your attempt at quieting down.
“Pussy is so good, darlin”
“Made just for me”
Huh. You moan out as he keeps hitting deep inside you. He holds your legs to your chest as he begins to thrust harder into you causing you to scream out his name.
“Oh fuck… oh fuck.. oh fuck… Jasper!”
“Shit baby. You’re so tight for me. Gonna have to fuck you more so that you get used to me” he says as he rocks into you faster.
“Come on baby. Come for me.” He says as he plays with you clit. You moan out in sensitivity causing your legs to shake again. Huh.
please… please… please you scream out like a mantra as Jasper fucks you harder.
“Oh fuck please” you say one last time as you begin to cum all over his cock.
“Ah… shit” you moan out as you finally come down from your orgasm. You and Jasper both look down at where you join together and see a thick white ring of your cum around his cock eveytime he pulls out.
“Oh fuck” Jasper moans out as he continues to chase his high. “You so fucking sexy”
You moan out at his words and feel your second orgasm approaching fast “ oh god” you say eyes rolling back at the sight.
“Come with me, darlin… please” he whines out as he nears his orgasm. You nod at him as you begin to tweak you nipples as Jasper thrusts into you and plays with your sensitive clit.
“Oh god it feels funny” you say worried.
“It’s okay baby.” He says trying to comfort you. As you begin to reach your orgasm and your moans get more high pitches.
“Ohhhh shittt” you say as you squirt. Jasper looks down at you amazed at how intense your orgasm is and slightly proud of his work. He continues to fuck into you causing your legs to start shaking and you to whimper eveytime he thrust.
“Oh fuck Darlin. I’m gonna cum” he moan out.
“Yeah?” You whine
“Come in me please” you say as you wrap you legs around him so he’s closer to you. Your two sweaty body’s joining together as you kiss passionately as he comes inside you, groaning out at the feeling of you sucking jim dry.
You whine out at the feeling of finally being filled up.
“So good baby” you whisper into his ear.
“You always fuck me so good”
“Yeah?” He says as he begins to get up and look down at his cum seeping out of your hole. He pushes his cock back into you to fuck his cum inside.
“Oh god… please… I’m so sensitive” you say trying to push him away, yet not really wanting to actually stop.
“Hmmm” he says as he finally stops and pulls out.
You finally lay limp on the bed as you take in what just happened.
“I think you broke me” you say laughing. He chuckles at your dramatics and gets you up and into the bathtub where he has filled it up with soap and warm water to wash you.
“You always say that after everytime” he states matter of factly and you smile up at him and give him a kiss.
“Aren’t you getting in?” You ask as he leaves you to wash up.
“I am. I’ve just gotta change the sheets” he says raising his eyebrows as you blush in embarrassment.
“Sorry” you squeak out.
“For what?… being sexy?” He responds as he leaves the room.

"Do you think they can hear us?" The girl lying face down on the grass asked the vampire who was reading a book on a bench next to her in the garden.
"Who?" He said looking at her, closing his book to only focus on her. "The ants" She said, frowning slightly, as if worried. "Why this suddenly worry about the ants, sweetheart?" Jasper said with a hint of amusement on his features as he saw the girl following the trail of ants with her fingers.
"I think people is too mean to them" She look at him "They step on them while they only take the food to their little houses." She was referring to anthills but he got it. "They think they are not strong because they are small, but Carlisle said that they are so strong and can carry a lot of food with them" She sighs. "I wish they don't listen to the things that humans say" She grimaced as she stood up and wiped her clothes with her hands.
Jasper left the book on the bench he was sitting on to pull the girl into a hug. It took a second to her to give him the hug back. "Honey, I think the ants only can hear and see the good things, like when you sing here to grow your flowers or when you give them food so they don't die. Don't worry, they are thankful to you" He said rubbing her back with love and kissing her forehead.
"I love you Jazz" She look at him
"And I love you more"

twilight jasper/The Major x poc reader
a fanfic where the reader who is human, half japanese and half black has the powers like Storm from Xmen, she has black hair but the hair turns white . She is 5 feet 6 inches but grows to 6ft 5in when her power is activated. She is meeting The Major for the first time when another vampire tries to attack them, he goes to protect her by telling her to run and hide not knowing about her powers yet. But she steps in front of him, destroying the vampire with her powers. She turns around to The Major gives him a smile before passing out
I like this idea since this seems more like a oc rather then an x reader story I’m gonna switch some things around if you don’t mind, so like the major I’ll have the reader have an alternate personality like jasper does and the side that turn into basically storm that’ll be her form she takes so unlike jasper who just turns into the major the other side of the reader will physically turn as well
↱ the storms rolling in ↰

➘ summary : (y/n) finds peace within The Olympics Clan as an outsider and her and jasper really kick it off but some outsiders much like (y/n) doesn’t accept that

The rain pounded relentlessly on the rooftops of the quaint town of Forks, Washington. Mist hung in the air like a shroud, casting a mysterious atmosphere over the sleepy community. For (y/n), it was a new beginning, a chance to escape the familiar and embrace the unknown.
Born to a Japanese mother and an African American father, (y/n) was a mesmerizing blend of cultures. With a cascade of ebony curls and striking amber eyes, she was a rarity that drew curious glances wherever she went. But what truly set her apart were the powers she possessed – a gift inherited from her ancestors. Like Storm from the X-Men, she could command the elements, harnessing the winds, summoning lightning, and stirring the very skies with her emotions.
Growing up in her hometown had been a whirlwind of discovery and secrecy. Her parents had always urged her to conceal her abilities, fearing the backlash from a world that wasn't ready to accept such supernatural phenomena. But as (y/n) matured, so did her longing for freedom, for a place where she could be herself without fear of judgment.
Forks had never been a part of her plans, but life has a way of guiding you down unexpected paths. The town held an enigmatic allure, with its ever-present cloud cover and lush forests. It was as if the weather itself echoed her turbulent emotions, mirroring the storm that raged within her heart.
The decision to leave her hometown behind wasn't easy, but it was necessary. Armed with a few belongings, her powers, and an insatiable curiosity, (y/n) embarked on a journey to Forks. The small house she now stood in front of was modest, yet it felt like a sanctuary – a place where she could redefine herself and forge her own destiny.
As she stepped through the door, the air felt charged with anticipation, like the calm before a tempest. Little did she know that her arrival would set into motion a series of events that would challenge everything she thought she knew about herself and the world around her.
In the heart of this rain-soaked town, (y/n) would find not only new friendships but also the answers she had been seeking. Unbeknownst to her, there were others who carried secrets of their own, mysteries that would intertwine their fates in ways they could never have foreseen.
And so, the journey of (y/n) began – a journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and the realization that sometimes, the storm within can be a source of power, not just destruction.
The fluorescent lights of the local supermarket illuminated the aisles, casting a sterile glow on the neatly organized shelves. (y/n) wandered through the maze of products, her thoughts consumed by the shopping list in her hand. She had grown accustomed to her height, but there were still moments when being 5'6" posed a challenge, like when she tried to reach for an item placed high on a shelf.
Stretching on her tiptoes, she reached out, fingertips grazing the edge of the box she needed. Just as she was about to give up, a shadow fell across her path. Looking up, she met the gaze of a tall, burly man with a friendly smile. He towered over her, his presence larger than life.
"Need a hand?" he asked, his deep voice resonating through the aisle. Without waiting for her answer, he effortlessly plucked the item off the shelf and handed it to her.
"Thank you so much," (y/n) replied with a grateful smile, bowing slightly, a gesture she had picked up from her Japanese heritage. "I really appreciate it."
Emmett, for that was his name, chuckled warmly. "No problem at all. Glad I could help."
As they stood facing each other, an unspoken connection formed between them. It was as if they recognized something familiar in each other's eyes, a shared understanding that transcended the simple act of reaching for a box on a shelf.
"So, what brings you to Forks?" Emmett asked, genuinely curious.
(y/n) hesitated for a moment before answering, "I wanted a fresh start, a place where I can be myself without any pretenses."
Emmett nodded, his expression empathetic. "I get that. Sometimes a change of scenery can be exactly what you need."
As they continued talking, (y/n) and Emmett discovered a surprising common interest – video games. Their conversation flowed effortlessly as they exchanged stories about their favorite games, strategies, and epic victories. Their laughter echoed through the supermarket aisle, drawing curious glances from passersby.
As they strolled along, a colorful poster caught (y/n)'s attention – a local gaming event showcasing the latest releases. She couldn't help but express her excitement.
Emmett's eyes lit up with a mischievous grin. "You know, there's a gaming setup at my place. We could try out some of those new releases together if you're interested."
Surprised but intrigued, (y/n) considered his offer. The idea of spending time with a new friend, indulging in their shared passion, was too tempting to resist.
"That sounds amazing," she replied, her smile growing wider.
And just like that, an invitation to dinner turned into a burgeoning friendship that neither of them had anticipated. As they left the supermarket, their conversation flowed effortlessly, touching on everything from games to their personal stories.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the town of Forks in a warm twilight glow, (y/n) followed Emmett's directions to his home. The quaint, inviting house nestled among the trees seemed like a cozy haven against the encroaching darkness. The sound of leaves rustling in the gentle breeze created a serene backdrop as she approached the front door.
Emmett answered the door with a bright grin, welcoming (y/n) inside. "Glad you could make it! This is home."
Stepping into the house, (y/n) was met with the warm scent of home-cooked food and the gentle hum of conversation. As she entered the living room, her eyes widened at the sight of the welcoming faces that turned to greet her.
"Hey there!" Emmett's voice was infused with genuine enthusiasm as he introduced her to his family. "This is my adoptive mother, Esme, and these are my siblings, Edward, Bella, and Alice."
Warm smiles and kind words of welcome enveloped (y/n), putting her at ease in this unfamiliar environment. Esme was gracious and inviting, expressing genuine delight at having her over. As conversation flowed, (y/n) found herself gravitating towards Esme in the kitchen, where they worked side by side to prepare dinner.
Esme's gentle guidance and (y/n)'s willingness to learn made them an efficient team. The scent of cooking filled the air as they chopped vegetables, shared stories, and forged a connection that felt surprisingly natural.
As they worked, the sound of approaching footsteps caught their attention. A tall, blonde figure lingered in the doorway, watching with a guarded expression. Rosalie's gaze met (y/n)'s, and for a moment, there was an unspoken understanding.
"Don't mind Rosalie and Jasper," Emmett chimed in, offering a reassuring smile. "They have their own way of dealing with new people."
Alice, who had appeared beside Rosalie, grinned and added, "They just have a little difficulty being around people they're not familiar with."
(y/n) nodded in understanding. "I used to be the same way as a child. Meeting new people was always a bit overwhelming."
As dinner preparations continued, (y/n) glanced towards Jasper and Rosalie. With a respectful nod, she took a step towards them and offered a polite bow, a gesture of acknowledgment that she had carried from her Japanese heritage.
"Thank you for allowing me into your home," she said softly. "I understand it might be uncomfortable having someone new around, but I appreciate your hospitality."
Jasper and Rosalie exchanged a glance before Jasper offered a nod, his demeanor softer. "It's not easy for us, but we're working on it. Thanks for understanding."
Rosalie's lips curved into a small smile, her guardedness easing just a bit. "Yeah, what he said."
Returning their smiles, (y/n) felt a sense of camaraderie with the Cullen siblings. As the evening progressed, laughter and stories intertwined, weaving a tapestry of connection that was forged through shared experiences and an openness to understanding one another.
In the heart of the Cullen home, (y/n) had found not only a group of unique individuals but also a place where acceptance and understanding reigned, much like the storm within her that had the power to bring both destruction and renewal.
Time had flown by since (y/n) had become a part of the Cullen family's circle, and what began as a chance encounter had blossomed into deep friendships. The bonds she had formed with Emmett, Esme, Alice, Rosalie, Jasper and Bella and the even others had become an integral part of her life in Forks.
Firstly she found out some shocking news, the cullens we’re vampires. Well it wasn’t that shocking but damn what a secret you know?!
One sunny afternoon, as they gathered in the Cullen home's living room, conversations flowed easily. (y/n) felt entirely at home amidst the laughter and shared stories. As she recounted an incident in town where she had faced some unwanted attention, Jasper's face tightened with a controlled anger she hadn't seen before.
Intrigued by his reaction, (y/n) looked directly at him. "It was strange, really. This guy just wouldn't take no for an answer, and then out of nowhere, Jasper stepped in and, well, let's just say things got a little intense."
Emmett let out a hearty chuckle. "Yeah, Jazz here has a way of making his point crystal clear."
Jasper's eyes shifted, almost as if he was remembering something he'd rather not. "Well, sometimes people need a reminder to respect boundaries."
Sensing that there was more to the story than what met the eye, (y/n) pressed on. "You seemed really protective, Jasper. Did something else happen?"
Jasper hesitated for a moment, his gaze flickering between (y/n) and the floor. Before he could respond, Emmett, in a moment of uncharacteristic bluntness, let out a small chuckle and said, "He's just being all 'major' about it."
The room fell into an awkward silence, and (y/n) locked eyes with Jasper, her curiosity mixed with concern. "Major? What do you mean?"
Jasper sighed, his shoulders slumping. "It's... complicated."
Emmett's eyes widened as he realized his mistake, but before he could attempt to correct it, Jasper straightened up, his expression becoming more composed.
"Truth is, (y/n)," Jasper began, his voice holding a note of seriousness, "I have developed feelings for you. Strong ones. In the vampire world, it's more than just attraction. I see you as a suitable mate, and well... I guess that's why I reacted the way I did."
A shocked silence fell over the room as (y/n) processed his words. She could feel the heat rise to her cheeks, her heart pounding a little faster in her chest. Jasper's confession left her momentarily speechless, her mind a whirlwind of emotions.
Esme, always the peacemaker, gently broke the silence. "Jasper, dear, I think it's important for (y/n) to understand your perspective."
Jasper nodded, his eyes never leaving (y/n)'s face. "You see, I can feel and manipulate emotions. I've been trained to sense danger, to protect my family, and I couldn't bear to see you uncomfortable or threatened."
(y/n) took a deep breath, trying to process the sudden revelation. Her own feelings were in turmoil, a mixture of flattery, surprise, and confusion. She met Jasper's gaze and spoke softly, "I... appreciate your honesty. But this is a lot to take in."
Jasper nodded in understanding, his expression a blend of hope and anxiety. "I didn't expect you to reciprocate immediately. I just wanted you to know the truth."
The vulnerability in Jasper's eyes was undeniable, and (y/n) felt a wave of empathy wash over her. She took another deep breath and offered a tentative smile. "Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me this, Jasper.
“Please…call me major,” says jasper or well the major?!
“Well major, I need some time to process everything."
Jasper's lips curled into a relieved smile. "Of course, take all the time you need."
As the room gradually returned to its natural state of camaraderie, (y/n) realized that this unanticipated revelation was a testament to the depth of connection she had with the Cullens. Amidst the supernatural complexities, she was navigating the intricacies of both friendship and emotion, much like the storm that raged within her own heart.
As days turned into weeks, (y/n) found herself replaying Jasper's confession in her mind. She appreciated his honesty, but the weight of his feelings had left her slightly overwhelmed. She knew that a conversation with him was inevitable, and as the afternoon sun bathed the Cullen home in a warm glow, she decided that it was time to address the unspoken tension.
Approaching Jasper, who was sitting in the living room with a book, (y/n) cleared her throat to get his attention. "Jasper, can we talk?"
Jasper glanced up from his book, his expression a mix of surprise and anticipation. "Of course, (y/n). What's on your mind?"
"I think we need to discuss what you told me," she began, her voice steady despite the fluttering in her chest. "I appreciate your feelings, but I need to know more. I need to understand what this means for us."
Jasper set his book aside, his eyes locked onto (y/n)'s. "I understand, and I'm here to answer any questions you have."
Taking a deep breath, (y/n) hesitated for a moment before suggesting, "Would you like to take a walk with me? It might be easier to talk outside."
Jasper nodded, his expression softening. "Sure, a walk sounds good."
As they strolled along a forested path near the Cullen home, (y/n) found the tranquility of nature to be the perfect backdrop for their conversation. The rustling of leaves and the distant songs of birds provided a calming soundtrack to their words.
"I want you to know that I value our friendship a lot, Jasper," (y/n) began, her voice gentle. "But your confession... it caught me off guard. I need time to figure out my own feelings and what this could mean for us."
Jasper's eyes held a mixture of understanding and empathy. "I respect that, (y/n). I never meant to make you uncomfortable."
Just as the conversation seemed to be heading towards a more peaceful resolution, a sudden rustling in the bushes nearby drew their attention. Before either of them could react, a blur of movement materialized, and another vampire stood before them.
"Ronny?" (y/n) gasped, disbelief washing over her.
The newcomer, Ronny, grinned wickedly, his eyes flashing crimson. "Well, well, (y/n). I never thought I'd run into you again."
Jasper's posture tensed, his instincts alert. "Who is this?"
“My childhood friend…”
Ignoring Jasper's question, Ronny's gaze remained fixed on (y/n). "You look surprised to see me. Did you think you could just disappear without consequences?"
Before (y/n) could respond, Ronny lunged at her, his intention clear. Instinctively, Jasper stepped in between them, his movements impossibly swift. A collision of supernatural strength and skill erupted as Jasper blocked Ronny's attack, his combat prowess on full display.
Realizing the danger, (y/n) instinctively stepped back, her heart racing. The situation had escalated far more quickly than she could have imagined. She watched as Jasper and Ronny engaged in a fierce struggle, her mind racing for a solution.
"(Y/n), run and hide!" He shouted, hoping his words would reach her amidst the chaos.
The clash of their powers created a cacophony of sound, echoing through the forest. The situation grew dire, and (y/n) felt her instincts take over.
Drawing upon the powers she had long kept hidden, (y/n) summoned a gust of wind, whipping through the air with a force that sent leaves and debris spiraling around her. She directed the winds towards Ronny, creating a barrier between him and Jasper.
“(Y/n)?!” Spoke two voices.
With wide eyes all both vampires could do was watch as (y/n)’s appearance transformed. (Y/n) felt a strange surge of energy building within her. The winds around her intensified, swirling with an intensity that matched the storm within her heart. Suddenly, her body began to transform, her form elongating and growing. Her clothes strained against her expanding frame until they could no longer contain her altered proportions.
In mere seconds, her height soared to a towering 6 feet 5 inches. Her once-ebony hair turned an ethereal shade of white, and her eyes underwent a dramatic transformation. They transformed into a striking sight, the irises resembling those of a blind person, milky white with glowing, pulsating thunderbolt-like veins that electrified the very air around her.
The air crackled with energy, and (y/n)'s alternate self emerged, fierce and imposing. Her torn clothing hung loosely from her powerful frame as she faced Ronny, her gaze locked onto his with an intensity that sent a shiver down his spine.
The Major and Ronnys attention shifted to a stunned halt as they took in the transformation before him. Ronny recognized the power emanating from (y/n)'s alternate self, a power that was clearly beyond human comprehension, someone who (y/n) would say she could see in her dreams as a child.
Ronny, momentarily disoriented by the unexpected turn of events, hesitated, his overconfidence momentarily shattered. This was not the (y/n) he had expected to face.
With a burst of lightning-like energy, (y/n)'s alternate self lunged at Ronny. The clash of their powers created shockwaves that rippled through the forest, causing trees to sway and leaves to rain down like a storm of confetti.
The battle was fierce and intense. Bolts of electricity danced across the air as (y/n)'s alternate self summoned the power of the elements. Her movements were fluid yet ferocious, every motion calculated to bring Ronny to his knees.
Ronny attempted to counter her attacks, but he was clearly outmatched. The power radiating from (y/n)'s alternate self seemed limitless, as if she had tapped into an otherworldly force.
With a final surge of power, (y/n)'s alternate self released a blast of energy that engulfed Ronny in a blinding light. The force of the impact sent shockwaves rippling through the ground, causing the earth to tremble beneath their feet.
As the light subsided, (y/n)'s alternate self stood amidst the aftermath, her chest heaving with the exertion of her powers. The air was charged with energy, and the forest around them bore witness to the clash of supernatural forces.
The major approached (y/n)'s alternate self cautiously, his eyes filled with awe and respect. "You saved us."
The transformation began to wane, and as (y/n)'s alternate self slowly reverted to her original form, she felt a mixture of exhaustion and satisfaction. She looked up at Jasper, her eyes returning to their familiar amber hue, and offered a small smile.
Jasper's expression held a newfound admiration. "You have powers too."
Nodding, (y/n) replied, "I didn’t know how to tell you.”
As the forest settled into a tranquil silence, the remnants of the battle scattered around them, (y/n) realized that the storm within her was no longer something to be feared. It was a source of strength, a power that could be harnessed to protect those she cared about.
“Sorry about this,” (y/n) apologized.
“Sorry for what?” Major questions. “This -“ and with that (y/n) passed out only to be caught by major.
In the aftermath of the battle, (y/n)'s world had once again shifted, unveiling layers of her identity she had yet to explore. The bond she shared with the Cullens had deepened further, and the storm within her heart had revealed itself as a force of nature that could bring both destruction and renewal.

The gentle drumming of raindrops melodically dropping onto the windshield lulled me into a peaceful half-sleep in the back of my father's police cruiser. I was vaguely aware of the light conversation between my father Charlie and my younger sister Bella.
The awkwardness between those two was palpable in the air, for two people who hardly got along they truly were unbelievably alike. I let their uncomfortable discussion pass me by and focused on the other issues that were running rampant around my mind. The first was the fact that I was halfway through my senior year, and now I had to transfer to a new school. Well, I didn't have to per se, but considering I was still freshly 18 and the only job I held back in Arizona was a retail warehouse job that paid 7.15 an hour-- and I still had to buy my own car and pay for my own college-- I wasn't exactly in a situation to move out on my own back in my sunny home of Pheonix Arizona.
Not that I hated Forks, it was definitely a quaint little town that held a certain charm to it. Truthfully, I don't quite understand my mother Renee's and Bella's pure hatred for this place was, but to each, there own I suppose. I was just disappointed to leave Arizona, so close to graduation, my two friends Liv and Abbi, and my now ex-boyfriend Mark, had to stay back in Arizona.
A throb of pain ripped through my chest and tangled itself around my heart when I thought about Mark, more guilt than grief. We had only been dating casually-- more so for the fun of it than due to any real feelings we had shared-- or so I thought. When I had ended things with him a week before my departure, He revealed he harbored much stronger feelings than I knew. Our breakup was still amicable however, in the end, he agreed long distance was not meant for us-- well more so, me.
I had also promised to call him, Liv, and Abbi, as much as possible and Skype at least twice a week. The guilt-ridden thorns pressing into my heart tightened a bit as I remembered his hopeful expression when I left, Liv later informed me that he was harboring hope that he'd be able to convince me to try long distance with him once I was settled in. It wasn't out of the question I supposed, but I never saw our little 4-month fling lasting longer than the end of senior year-- but who knows where life will take me--
"Cali"
I hope I can at least make some new friends here, even if they only last a short time.
"Cali wake up, Sweetie."
Scratch that-- I hope my sister can make some friends. She's always alone. We lived in Arizona for years and she never made any real friends, that's not healthy. I hope--
"Calliope Swan!"
My father urged, shaking my shoulder gently. My eyes snapped open, my body jerking forward as I took in my surroundings. My father had parked his beat-up cruiser in the driveway of my second home. A sense of nostalgia washed over me unexpectedly, I had very few memories of my time living here but some microscopic part of my brain still recognized this home as my childhood home; I did spend the first 2 years of my life calling this two-story rundown house as my home.
"Sorry," I sighed groggily, "I didn't realize I had fallen asleep."
"It's alright." My dad smiled, his endearing awkward smile, "I already brought in your bags, so why don't you go make yourself at home."
"Aye Aye Captian." I joked, mock-saluting him before I climbed out of the back seat, grabbing my over-stuffed backpack and messenger bag. Charlie showed me up to my room-- completely unnecessary considering I've spent two weeks of my summers and all of my spring breaks here for the past 16 years-- and I had spent the first 2 years of my life living here.
My room was just as I had left it last summer, with the same sage-green walls and dark oak floors. My stormy grey curtains were slid open, the sun illuminating the room to the best of its abilities despite the gloomy weather outside. My full-sized mattress draped in a deep blue cover and covered with small stuffed animals I had collected over the years was shoved into the far left corner in front of one of the two windows. At the foot of my bed was my old wooden storage chest, the small metal latch holding down the lid was the only thing holding back the absurd amount of clutter I knew it contained-- all those distant memories.
The rest of my room was pretty simple but cluttered. A bedside table was tucked next to my bed, and a llama-shaped lamp sat on it with photos and books stacked upon it. On the opposing side of the room was my comfortable but old faded emerald green plush chair, and a matching ottoman. My dresser was overflowing with clothing and I cringed at the idea of having to go through all of them to make space for the new clothing I had brought. The mirror attached to the dresser has polaroids of me and all my friends, from both Forks and Arizona. Directly next to the door was my hooded desk, again more random items, and my ancient computer decorated it. In the final corner was my sauder wooden shelves, stocked full of all my worn-out second-hand books.
I breathed in the sweet-- slightly dewy scent of my room and let out a relaxed sigh. This won't be so bad, this is just as much of my home as Arizona was.
Taking note of my plethora of bags stacked in the corner next to the bookshelves I decided I should probably thank Dad for taking them upstairs for me, There really was a lot of them. However, when I turned around I saw my dad's back as he made his way down the hallways toward Bella's room
Oh well, I'll tell him later.
The rest of the day passed by swiftly and without much incident, other than a very swift visit from the Black family where Charlie had very graciously bought my younger sister her first car. Then, very sheepishly informed me that he'd go 50-50 with me on a used car-- that definitely stung a bit but I could understand. Bella was not the fondest of our dad and it was an obvious way of trying to get her to warm up to living in Forks, and to his credit, it did work. She was practically bouncing with excitement when she explored her new car, little Jacob Black following her around like a puppy while she did.
Jacob Black was adorable and sweet, he'd make a good friend for Bella. She would just have to open up to him, he's a few years younger so she used to gravitate toward his older sisters Rachel and Rebecca although they've both moved away from Washington. Last I heard Rachel was away at college and Rebecca was married to a Samoan Surfer. So Bella would have to make new friends, and the twin's nerdy little brother looked like he would do; he certainly seemed eager enough to befriend her.
Other than that though, the day was mainly uneventful. Charlie ordered some celebratory pizza and wings from a local joint, I made some idle chit-chat with Charlie as we ate, but Bella mainly stayed quiet; Stewing in her self-pity a little more than I would've liked.
I helped Charlie pack up the leftovers for his lunch at work tomorrow, making a suggestive comment that perhaps he should consider eating a more healthy lunch, which was quickly shot down by him.
"I'm as healthy as a horse, Cali. I wouldn't be sheriff if I weren't."
"Okay, Okay, Whatever you say Pops. Just don't want to have to rush you to the ER one day due to a heart attack. I get enough ER time because of Bella."
This elicited a small chuckle from him, "That girl sure is a magnet for trouble isn't she?"
"I don't know where she got the clutz gene from, but I think we single-handedly kept the Pheonix ER in business. It was just a month ago we had to take her in 'cause she burned the crap out of her arm on a tea kettle." I laughed, remembering the look of horror in her eyes when the doctor had to inform her that she needed to keep her arm bandaged up for the next week-- and in that AZ heat that would get rather sweaty and uncomfortable quick.
When I noticed Charlie had gone silent while washing up a few dishes, I looked over at him. His face was pinched up in deep thought and from what I could tell concern. "Hey, you good dad?"
"Huh?" He looked over to me and met my gaze, looking a tad embarrassed he had been caught zoning out, he dried off the last dish in his hand and looked over to me seriously, "Can I ask you a serious question, Cali?" He asked, taking on the voice of a worried father.
"Ya, go ahead."
"Do you think..." He paused and thought for a moment, sorting out whatever thoughts were running around his mind. "I know, me and you are very different people. Everyone always says me and Bella are a lot alike but... I know you. I know you're gonna be okay here even if it wasn't necessarily what you wanted."
I opened my mouth to object, I didn't not want to move to Forks. I just was hesitant due to almost being ready to go off to college. He continued on before I had the chance to interrupt though.
"But Bella, she's so quiet, and I can tell she doesn't want to be here. I hate seeing her so upset... I know I'm not the most fun person to be around and I'm going to try and change that but do you think you could look after her? Let me know how I'm doing... If she is happy? Make sure she's doing okay at school and stuff."
"Of course, Dad. I'll keep an eye out for her." I smiled cautiously. This was the first time in a long time I had seen him this worried; the last time was when I came out to visit one year, and it was the first year Bella had decided not to come to Forks to see him. He talked to me back then, asking if Bella was okay and if he had done something wrong. My heart throbbed when I imagined what it must be like for him, loving a daughter so much and feeling so hopeless; as if nothing he would ever do would be the right thing to do.
"Thank you." He said with a timid smile, we both continued to clean up the kitchen in relative silence. I suspected he was doing a bit more cleaning than he would typically do on account of me and Bella being here-- although Bella had already excused herself up to her room.
Once the Kitchen was practically spotless, I took it as my turn to excuse myself into my bedroom. I finished what I could by unpacking my room, opting to leave all my bathroom supplies in a small basket on my dresser, instead of taking up the limited bathroom space. My new books were put away on my shelf, my make-up on the desk next to my small popup mirror. My shoes were lined up on the wall beside my door. The only thing left to do was go through my clothes and that was a challenge to tackle another day.
As I lay in my bed, listening to the gentle sounds of rain hitting the rooftop, I tried to envision what this new chapter in my life would hold for me; however brief it may be.

Tumblr media
You laid on the floor in Jaspers room coloring, the blond vampire watching you intently as you did so, you smiled up at him earning you a smile in return.
“Okay Darlin’, I think it’s time to get you some food. Do you want to come downstairs with daddy?” Jasper asked and you shook your head ‘no’.
“No thank you daddy, I wanna finish my coloring.” You said and he chuckled and ruffled your hair,
“Suit yourself, I’ll be right back baby.” He says and you give a simple wave bye,
Once you had finished your coloring you looked at the page, it was definitely missing something but you didn’t know what. You had decided that obviously stickers were needed, you got up and made your way to the drawer when your stickers and other craft supplies were.
You opened the drawer carefully, and reached in and retrieved your stickers, you were so preoccupied with the adorable stickers you didn’t move your frinegers completely out of the way as you closed it and it ended up pinching your middle and index finger, you yanked your hand away quickly, banging your elbow on the book shelf behind you,
“Owie” you said as tears welled on your eyes, you inspected your hurt fingers, as soon as the words left your mouth Jasper was standing there, a plate of food sitting perfectly on the desk beside you when seconds before it hadn’t been there,
“Let daddy see baby, show me what hurts.” Jasper asked you softly, you sniffled and showed him your hurt fingers,
“C’mere I know how to fix this.” He says and walks you to the bathroom, he pulls out a box of bandaids with your favorite cartoon character on them, he carefully places two bandaids around the hurt fingers, giving each of them a light kiss once the bandaid was secured,
“Thank you daddy, all better.” You say happily and Jasper takes your noninjured hand and walks you back into his room to continue playing.
Once you’re settled in Jasper brings your food over and sits it infront of you. You pick up the fork and try to use it, after watching you struggle a bit Jasper takes the fork out of your hand,
“Woah there, I don’t think you’ve ever been this little before.” Jasper says and you try to think about what he means, you watch as he gets some food on the fork with extreme ease and he brings it to your mouth, you take a bite and smile. It tastes delicious, Jasper has gotten much better about making food for you in the past few months.
“Tastes yummy, thank you!” You say and let him continue feeding you.

Rebirth : Ch.1
Summary : Aurora Flores, new blood in Forks.
Word count: 1.4k
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Tumblr media
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Aurora Flores was not exactly thrilled about the move but kept that to herself. Sure, was she leaving her whole life behind and her family and friends and everything she loved, but that was okay. No, no it wasn't but she could pretend for her family. She was going to miss LA but her mother got a new job and wanted a fresh start so here she was, going to the dreary Forks Washington with her mom, and grandma.
New house meant she could get her own room finally and a new place meant a new start, nothing from the past coming to haunt her anymore.
She sighed, 'Yay what a fun' as she passed the population sign '3,120 now becomes 3,123.'
Aurora's mom, Amora, pulled down the street from the police cruiser. "Welp I guess no wild parties for you huh? Not with the chief being a couple house down."
"Oh yeah you know me mom, party animal, the moment you leave this place becomes the new Las Vegas."
Her grandmother, Jacinda, chuckled. "Si, si gran fiesta."
Aurora smiled, "See me and Abeula got this, plus who else is gonna buy thr drinks for me."
Amora gave her daughter a playful glare and poked her head. She shook her head. "Alright come on, help abuela in the house and come help me with the boxes."
Aurora gave an exasperated sigh but nodded solemnly. "Let's go Abuela," she got out of the car and opened Jacinda's door in the front. She led from steps and to the inside of the house to sit on the sofa.
As she rushed out she heard her mom talking. "Oh well if you wouldn't mind that would be so helpful."
"Oh of course not, here Bella and I will get these two."
Aurora peaked through the door and saw a father and daughter helping her mother. She narrowed her eyes at the sight of their hands brushing and the man giving an awkward smile. Which her mother returned!
She made her way to the car. "Oh Aurora, come here ! Let me introduce you to the sheriff and his daughter. This is Mr. Charlie Swan and this is Isabella- oh I mean Bella ! Bella Swan." The man put the box to the side and held at his hand
"Nice to meet you Mr. Swan."
"Charlie is fine."
"Okay cool Mr. Charlie and Bella." She felt weird calling an adult their first name but if that was the norm around here, she wasn't going to argue. "My name is Aurora Flores and my grandmother inside is Jacinda."
The duo nodded. "Okay well I will put this inside for you, come on Bells." The girl, Bella or Bells to her dad, gave the same awkward smile and waved, Aurora did the same.
Her mother got the last two boxes to the end of the car and handed one to Aurora, she took the box but had an eyebrow raise and side eye to the house Charlie and Bella entered. Amora squinted at her daughter.
Aurora shrugged and turned away. Whatever her mom wanted to do she wasn't going to stop her. She entered as Jacinda said, "Que bonita and muy guapo."
They shared a look not knowing what was said or what to say. Aurora put the box where they laid their down, the two shifted and eyed Aurora - hoping she would translate.
Aurora chuckled, "Oh don't worry she just said you were pretty and that you were handsome." Bella blushed and Charlie nodded, with the ghost of a smile playing on his lips.
"Thank you." They both said to Jacinda. Her grandmother smiled and winked at the two, she went back to her sudoku game now completely ignoring all of them.
"I think that was everything. My mom should be getting the last box but I think work might have called her." Aurora shrugged.
"Oh well I'll go help her in case the call takes long so she doesn't have to do it. You two stay here?"
"Sure."
"Got it Mr. Charlie." He nodded and walked out of the living room.
Bella glanced at Aurora, taking her in. She was pretty, a little pale tan, chubby, and absolutely gorgeous.
"You know you don't have to call him 'Mr. Charlie' Charlie is fine."
Aurora blushed, "Oh okay, sorry I used to like honorifics so it would've felt weird to just say his first name."
"Oh yeah that makes sense. Don't worry I'm sure he doesn't mind whatever you call him." Silence hung in the air for a minute before Bella awkwardly tried to fill it. "Um so, uh are you going to Forks High or are you homeschooled?"
"Oh I'll be going to school Junior year."
"Oh cool me too I just got here yesterday, so I'm a little nervous for tomorrow."
Aurora nodded, "Yeah me too. Especially since its the middle of the semester, I don't know how far along the AP classes are."
"Oh wow AP classes are rough and to do it in the middle of the year too is a little wild."
She chuckled, "Yeah well I'm actually graduating early so I want to stay on track."
"Wow so you’re like a genius."
"Um no," Aurora laughed, "but I really pushed myself to do this." Bella smiled.
Their parents came in, Amora laughing at something Charlie said. Bella didn't say anything of course but her dad was far from funny. Aurora lifted an eyebrow again but too, did not comment.
Amora went through the door and Charlie trailing behind her with a goofy smile. "So Charlie and Bella are coming to dinner around 7 tonight! I'll be making chicken alfredo and sausage broccoli stir fry." Aurora wanted to lift an eyebrow again but was afraid it would get stuck there, they were supposed to get take-out. Again whatever her mom wanted was fine.
Fresh start, new life.
Bella and Charlie headed out, Bella waved bye to her and Aurora waved bye back. Amora was suddenly cornered by her mother and daughter.
" Entonces el jefe de policia... "
"Alfredo and stir fry? Come on mama really?" She groaned, she felt like a teenager again.
"Oh my, look they were nice enough to come and introduce themselves and then help out so yes I am being neighborly and thanking them."
"Sure, 'neighborly'." She air quoted. Amora pointed a finger at both.
"Do not start. You two will behave at dinner. Now lets start unpacking I got 4 hours til I have to start dinner and I want our new house to be fully finished." She huffed and walked away.
Jacinda chucked at her daughter. She pulled her grand-daughter close and whispered, "¿Listo para una hermana?" Aurora laughed and Anora got the chills.
(Loose translation: ready for a new sister)

( 2 months earlier - Amora accepted the job)
Alice was walking back to her home while feeding with Rosalie, a twig snapped under her and a vision appeared in front of her. It was the same one when she envisioned meeting Jasper, him thanking her for helping him, her in short green dress and him in a white tie. It was almost exactly like when they first started dating.
Except she he asked her to date him. Her dress was a bit longer and his tie was green. The vision was about to end when suddenly a girl appeared next to Jasper. The girl was in a haze, but she hugged them both. "I am so happy to have you both in my life, I just know you will make each other happy." The vision ended and her senses came back. The vision never went that far; it always cut off after Jasper hugged her.
"Well fuck. I guess I didn't see the whole vision until now."
Rosalie didn't pay attention to what Alice had said as Emmett caught her and twirled her around. Alice dashed to her room. Luckily Edward and Jasper were hunting together. She had loved Jasper but things were coming to a stall. She had asked Carlisle if he and Esme had something like that and he said yes but it was extremely short since they were mates.
Her and Jasper's stall had been going on for a while longer than Esme's and Carlisle's, but she couldn't imagine the two of them apart. They were always together and the best of friends. She guessed maybe that's all they were destined to be, the bestest of friends.

1926 Prologue
Tumblr media
Jasper Hale x OC
Summary: The night it all started for the OC
Word Count: 568
Notes: death, blood, vampire.
Masterlist | next
The fear of the inevitable never seemed to be something I struggled with, for there is no way to escape its insufferable grasp. Death. His hands wrap around one’s heart slowly bringing the rapid beating to a stop. It simply is the inevitable. There is no stopping death, it will come one day no matter what. I had imagined so many ways I could die to find some way of preparing, but nothing could have prepared me for this.
My heart had never beat this fast, pumping warm blood and fresh oxygen to my aching muscles as I tried to escape, I was a fool. I had come to terms with the idea that I would die one day, so why was I running, fighting, challenging it?
He was enjoying the chase, I should have stopped and just let him win, but I was so stubborn. Why didn’t I want to die? I had nothing left for me. Why did I run into this dark alleyway thinking I could lose him?
“I hear you breathing.” His taunts did nothing but push more adrenaline through my body, teasing me with the idea that I could get away. His footsteps were almost soundless, but I could hear the damp ground against his heavy boots. He didn’t just enjoy this, no this was his way of feeding his inner demon.
I did my best to hold my breath, but my lungs needed the oxygen to feed my tired muscles and rejuvenate them. I couldn’t give up this easily. I shouldn’t have.
But I stood there behind random fire escape stairs in the shadows praying to any and everything that could save me. I didn’t want to die. I turned towards the back of the stairs believing that child in my mind that told me “if you can’t see them, they can’t see you.” I wish that voice would have shut up.
“Found you.” His whisper sent the air from his words against the back of neck causing the tiny hairs to rise out of fear. I was afraid of dying. He wasted no time in moving my hair from my neck and inhaling my scent. I originally believed he was just another sick twisted serial killer like the one that corrupted this city in 1894. I was wrong.
I felt the insertion of needles in the side of my neck wrapped tightly by his lips that allowed him to suck the precious red liquid directly from my artery. He wasn’t just a killer, he was a monster. At that moment I gave up and let out a breath of relief to finally just give in to the inevitable. I embraced it. If I was going to die, I was going to do it peacefully. So I sank into the feeling and into his chest against my back.
I felt him chuckle against my skin as my vision turned black. Then all my senses gave way to the emptiness that was death, but I could still hear the soft pitter patter of rain against the metal stairs above me. I could hear my body drop to the ground suddenly and the groans of the man that once had my heart wrapped in his hands like Death himself. And finally I heard one last thing.
"Don't worry I've got you." Those words being the beginning of a story no one could ever imagine.

The Dusk Calls For Me: Chapter 0: Home
Tumblr media
December 2002, Phoenix, AZ
Tumblr media
I was sick of this abrasive heat, amongst other things. I was tired of living in a place that never truly felt like home. To feel absolutely sick to my stomach whenever my house came into view. And, I couldn't bear the thought of hearing my mother moan and complain about another thing I did. It was all so... smothering, almost too much to stand anymore.
It had honestly gotten to the point where I couldn't even-
"Fleur!"
Stand to hear my name anymore.
The second I heard my mother's voice, a deep pit formed in my stomach. The heft of which left me nearly frozen in my tracks, willing me with everything it could to keep me still.
"Fleur, I know you heard me! Get down here now." My mom's voice called out again, sounding stronger than before.
Begrudgingly, I got up from my bed, trudging out of my room and down the long set of carpet-covered steps. Once I reached the living room, I was met with my mother's usual, cold stare.
What the hell had I done now?
"What's going on?" I questioned surprisingly cool, though on the inside my heart was beating rapidly through my chest.
My mother chose not to say anything at first, instead opting to reach behind her, grabbing at an unfamiliar-looking bag. "You know." She simply replied, her tone quiet but deadly.
"Not rea-" My sentence stopped in its tracks as my mother poured out the contents of the bag. Money fell out of it unceremoniously onto the table and floor.
How could she have found it?
"You wanna tell me how you got all this money?" Mom asked, eyeing me with great suspicion.
"You went through my room?" I replied, my voice trembling as I spoke.
"Don't deflect things... where did you get all of this?" She asked again, tension seeping through her voice.
"Just... side jobs. Cutting grass, walking dogs, waitressing." I finally answered, my eyes still locked onto the few bills that had slipped onto the floor.
Mom took in a deep breath, clearly (but poorly) trying to retain some level of calm within herself. "Now, you better be... truthful in your next answer. Because I've already been told what's going on." Mom explained, I could imagine the strained look on her face as she spoke. "Why are you saving all of this?"
I finally found the nerve to look up from the floor, my gaze met my mother's cold stare. "I just... want to see my father." I meekly answered, preparing myself for the inevitable, rage-filled blow that was bound to come my way.
Mom scoffed quietly, the grimace that she had turned into a forced smile. "You're not going to." She spoke definitely, chuckling lightly under her breath.
"Yes, I am... it is my money, I can do whatever I want with it."
Mom sucked in another breath, though this time around the calm she had made was crumbling before her. "You... always, have to be a troublemaker, don't you?" She gritted out.
"Wanting to see my father doesn't mean I'm a troublemaker, Mother," I replied sardonically. "And I doubt, seriously doubt that if Bella were the one doing this, you'd be this angry about it."
Mom couldn't even think of a reply. She just glared at me, her eyes full of pent-up anger.
"Ain't got much to say now do you?" I asked her, finding a bit of satisfaction in her silence.
"You know what? If you think things in Forks are... so much better than they are here." Mom began, stalking me slowly. "Then I will give you the rest of the money for that damn plane ticket. But you ain't getting one back down here."
I should've been heartbroken at her words, distraught that she was so willing to just... leave me in a sense. But the only emotion that had consumed me was joy, pure joy.
Finally, I'd be able to see my father again.
"Fine," I spoke up.
"Fine." Mom repeated. "Just... go." She added, turning away from me instantaneously.
I listened to her without hesitation, collecting the money Mom had dropped. As I turned the corner to go up the steps my sister, Bella, caught my eye. Of course, she was listening in on us, Bella would never miss an opportunity to hear me get chewed out.
I stared at her briefly before shaking my head at the ludicrousy of her behavior. "You got what you wanted sis," I spoke up plainly.
"I'm finally out of here."
Tumblr media
January 2003, Forks, WA
The airport was bustling with people, making it hard to find where my father could possibly be. No matter where looked or turned, I was met with the faces of strangers... damn tall strangers.
I guess being 5'9 ain't as tall as I thought...
I moved as quickly as I could through the crowd, partially due to the fact that a lot of them were pretty disgruntled. The last thing I wanted to do was get in the crossfire of some of their foul moods.
"Fleur?"  A voice called out, not too far from me. As if the crowd of moody people began to clear like clouds. My dad finally came into view, looking at me with a bittersweet smile. I was quick to make my way over to him, completely overjoyed at the sight of my father.
"Hi, Dad." I greeted him, taking in a stuttering breath as I hugged him. "I missed you... so much."
I could feel my dad's body shake slightly, a slight sniffle following soon afterward. "I missed you too petal." He admitted gruffly, quickly wiping his face one we had pulled away from on another. "Let's get outta here." He added, swiftly taking one of the bags I had brought with me.
I of course, eagerly followed him out.
Though I had to admit, the strong, cold wind did make me falter slightly. Being in Arizona for so long definitely... lessened the resistance I had to Fork's usual bone-chilling weather. And well, I guess it didn't help that mom had refused to at least buy me some clothes that weren't tank tops and shorts. But, thankfully, my dad was wise enough to leave the heat on in the car, so I was able to dethaw pretty quickly.
"So, how have you been?" Dad asked, breaking the brief silence the car had been filled with.
"A lot better than I've been in a while," I replied, smiling fondly at all of the familiar sites I had grown up with.
It was as if this place had been preserved in a time capsule, waiting for me to return back to it again. The old ice cream shop, the reservation, and the beach where I spent all my time at. The sight of it all hit me with waves of nostalgia.
"And... your mom?" Dad said, clearly reluctantly by the sound of his voice.
"Well, you know how she is..." I muttered, turning toward him. "She's pretty much still acting the same," I added a bit more bitterly than I would've liked.
Dad seem to notice the disdain I spoke with too, his eyes carefully flickering over at me curiously. "There's something else you're not telling me, huh?" He questioned.
"Is it that obvious?" I spoke with a forced chuckle.
"You read like a book, Fleur."
"You got me there." I sighed. "Well, all I'll say is that Bella's kinda starting to pick up on our mother's lovely... traits."
Dad shook his head, clearly disappointed at the news I had announced. "That's a shame." He grumbled.
"Yeah, it is."
Another bout of silence came through after that. The only thing that could be faintly heard was the sound of the other cars rushing by us.
"You know," Dad began, out of the corner of my eye, I could see him begin to smirk. "I heard you just got your license."
"Yeah, I did..." I replied, curious as to what my father was hinting at.
"Well, I thought, as a little homecoming present to you. I got you a car-"
"What?" I questioned him incredulously, sitting up from my seat. "Are you serious?"
"Now, don't get too excited," Dad said quickly, as to try and curb my enthusiasm. "It's a pretty old car."
Tumblr media
I scoffed at him before letting out a chuckle. "Dad, a car is a car. You did not have to do that. What kind is it?"
"It's an old Mustang, a Fastback." He answered. "It's in the shop right now getting some last-minute repairs in. So, for now, I'll have to drive you to school."
"That is perfectly fine," I replied, leaning back into my seat again. "I have absolutely nothing to complain about."
"Glad to hear it, Petal..."
As we pulled into the driveway of our small but beautiful home. The nostalgia fully set in. The colors were exactly the same, and the grass, of course, was just as muddy and dead as before.
"Just as you remember it?" Dad asked as we walked into my childhood home.
I nodded in reply, finding it hard to say much.
"I cleared off a couple of shelves in the bathroom for ya. And, your room was pretty dusty so I cleaned it up for you." Dad explained as he placed my bags onto my bed.
"Thank you... it looks great." I muttered as I looked at my pretty much bare room.
"Well, I let you get settled in..." He said, and though he tried not to sound awkward, his delivery still came across as such. After giving me a light pat on the back he left, quietly closing my door behind him.
Finally, I'm back home...

Chapter 1
Curious, Isn't it?
Eliana fell off the hood of the truck when it vibrated, hearing a crash. Scrambling to her feet, she didn't see Bella but saw a huge group crowding around the black car now beside them.
"What the hell-" She uttered, walking around the car only to see Bella and one of the famous Cullens- Edward. Trying to put the pieces together in her head she caught something. Edward's siblings were about 50 feet back away from Bella's truck so how could Ed be right here so fast?
Students gathered around to see what the happened and checked to see if the pair were okay meanwhile Eliana tilted her head in confusion. Ed and Bella were fine... yet the car was severely dented? Eli was puzzled.
As she thought about it, she remembered that none of the Cullens, not even Dr. Carlisle, were around in the sunlight. Eliana shook her head, that was impossible. After all, vampires weren't real.
Later that day, once everything had calmed down, Eli sat in the lobby of the hospital occasionally saying hi to the other doctors and nurses whom were surprised, yet also grateful to see that Eliana wasn't hurt.
She had started falling in and out of sleep, waiting for something to happen when something did. Jasper sat near her, a few seats down.
"Oh, hey, Jasper! Long time no see, what's up?" She greeted, smiling over at him.
"Nothing much, ma'am. Just was wonderin' if you'd like to meet up.. discuss this whole... thing that went down cause you looked kind of confused by it," He offered casually, noticing Edward talking lowly with Carlisle.
They were discussing how close that was and if Eliana should know or not. Jasper wasn't going to wait around and find out- she was going to know whether they liked it or not. Besides, it was the better option than Eli finding out and telling people.
Elianas face broke into a smile and she nodded excitedly.
"Yes, yes, I'd love to! Oh my God, I thought it was just me who thought that it was off, I'm so happy someone else thinks that too and I'm not crazy- well, I mean I am crazy to people who don't understand ASD very well, but that's beside point. Am I talking too much? Sorry-" Eli blushed a little, smiling a bit shyly. She didn't mean to start over sharing, it just happened when she got excited.
"Great, how abo-... what are you doing with your hands-?" He asked, noticing her hands were doing some weird pattern. Hit the arm of the chair twice, flick her middle finger, hit her wrist on the arm of the chair. Repeat. One of her nervous stims.
"Oh, sorry. That's one of my nervous stims-... happens when I'm super nervous about a friend," She explained, using her left hand to stop her right hand.
"It's okay, but there's no need to stop yourself from stimming. I don't mind it- just caught me off guard," Jasper replied, smiling softly. Ana would've just melted on sight at that smile if she was alone.
"Oh- well... thank you-... most people are weirded out by it-.. but where would we talk about this whole thing?"
"At my house, if you'd like?" He offered, hoping she would accept. He couldn't risk anyone hearing him explain the situation.
"Yeah, sure!!" Thank whatever God was up there because Jasper would've died again had she not said yes.
"Great, I'll drive."

Moon’s Tides
Summary: Scarlett Mirachei lives in a military family. When her father is stationed in Seattle, she and her dad pick up and move to Forks. However, when her first day ay school goes in many ways she doesn’t expect, questions are raised she can’t easily find answers to. (A Jasper x OC fic, though you can insert yourself into Scarlett’s position if you want to. Jasper and Alice are not together in this one. I also took liberties in putting this fic closer to modern day than the early 2000s.)
TW: Minor mentions of nudity
Chapter 1: Wolfish Tendencies
The first day at a new school. It was something Scarlett had become almost intimately familiar with. Every couple of years her father would be relocated to a different military base, and they would pack everything up and move where the job required. For most of Scarlett’s life, her father had been stationed in various bases around Louisiana. Whether it was Fort Johnson (originally Fort Polk, she still got the names mixed up), Camp Beauregard, or the occasional visit to the Marine Corps Support Facility in New Orleans, there was always something new. More places to explore, new houses to live in, and new people to get to know.
This time however, the move was a bit more drastic. Instead of moving to another part of sunny, humid, and sometimes downright miserable Louisiana, her father had been told he was moving up to Washington. He was being relocated to the military base located in Seattle, meaning she and her father were going to have to get acclimated to much different weather. Long gone were the days of the weather roulette wheel. Spring and Fall were no longer constant toss-ups of rain, wind, and windy storms. Summer no longer heraled hurricane season. And Winter no longer meant the wonder of if Louisiana would be lucky to enough to get snow that year.
Instead, Washinton proved to be a bit more consistent in its weather patterns. Cloudy, almost constantly rainy, with a couple days of sunshine mixed in. Forks was almost constantly under the cover of rain or fog. Snow was a guaranteed spectacle when Winter decided to show itself and blow its freezing breath over the soggy green landscape. And Summer could hardly be called Summer. There weren’t any putridly hot days, no humid air that felt so thick it was like inhaling a blanket. It was very different than what Scarlett was used to.
But what she didn’t expect was for her sinus problems to somehow be even worse when she moved up there. It had only been a couple of days and drainage was kicking her ass. Sore throat, sneezing, coughing up phlegm, the whole nine yards. It felt like she had been assaulted with a full face of pollen, when it was most likely because of the moss that covered almost every tree in the neighborhood. She had thanked herself multiple times for buying a surplus of her nasal spray on a whim, inhaling three sprays of the medicine in each nostril.
But even with that assistance, as soon as she stepped out of her car in the school parking lot a sneeze wracked her frame so hard it felt like she had dislodged something. She doubles over, taking a moment to collect herself with her nose tucked firmly into her jacket-covered elbow. She makes a noise of displeasure before grabbing her backpack, trying her best not to rub at her eyes. She was almost certain she looked sick as she walked across the parking lot and into the school’s office, awkwardly standing at the front desk as she waits for the woman behind the desk to notice her.
The woman had to have been middle-aged. Her hair was so red it had to have been box-dyed, which made Scarlett fight back a cringe. Her green eyes were framed by a pair of horn-rimmed glasses, slowly looking over something on her monitor. It takes a couple more minutes before the lady notices Scarlett, eyes widening in shock before she turns to face her.
“Good morning. How may I help you?”
She sounded so similar to a customer service person that Scarlett almost talked to her professionally rather than simply asking for her schedule like a normal person.
“Um, hi. I’m Scarlett Mirachei, a new transfer from New Orleans. I was told I could get my class schedule here.”
“Scarlett…Scarlett…Oh yes! Here you are.” She clicks a couple times with her mouse, and Scarlett chews on the inside of her cheek as she waits.
The printer whirs to life, slowly printing out a block schedule on a piece of printer paper. Scarlett smiles as the lady hands the piece of paper to her.
“The room numbers and buildings are printed on the paper. Makes it a little hard to get lost. You’re in here a bit early as well, so it might give you a little time to get to your class or find your locker before the day starts.”
Scarlett nods, reading over the piece of paper. Calculus first period. Just her luck. Scarlett somehow had always managed to get her math class as her first period since freshman year. Whether it was a blessing or a curse, she couldn’t be sure. Physics as second period. Her two most difficult classes first thing in the morning. She sighs as she looks at her third period class, World Literature. She had the universal lunch period, followed by her Dance class, which had been put in as an elective since she already had the required PE credits. Last up was her World History class.
Scarlett was happy she had packed her dance bag, making a mental note to grab it during her lunch break. It didn’t specify what kind of dance the class was focused on, so unless the teacher went into it, she would just have to pack all her shoes. Even her tap shoes. Scarlett sighs as she exits the office, folding up the schedule and tucking it in her pocket so it wouldn’t get wet in the drizzling rain.
More cars had pulled into the parking lot, and Scarlett could hear the chatter of the various students as they waited to go inside. Scarlett sighed as she walked to her car, a little Nissan painted midnight blue. She’d most likely have to wait as well, so she simply leaned against her car while quietly humming to herself. She gazed around the parking lot, eyes ending up on what looked like an old rusted red Chevy truck. Her brow raised as she looked at the truck, slowly running her gaze over it.
Scarlett briefly saw her reflection in one of the side mirrors. Her hair, chin length, had been pulled back into a short ponytail with her bangs hanging out on each side of her face. The lock on the right side was dyed the same midnight blue as her car. The rest of her hair was light brown, a little more red than brown in the right lighting. It was something she had gotten from her mother’s side of the family. Her amber eyes, which she called doe eyes because they looked big to her, seemed to have the same steely wall of conviction that her father held wherever he went. Her face was quite traingular in shape, sharp cheekbones, and chin. Her nose was just big enough to fit her face, not quite a button nose with a subtle hook to it. Her black brows, sharp and angular, added an intensity to her facial expression that would scare most people off.
She looked like she was a member of the military herself.
She hadn’t worn anything special to school. A simple band t-shirt adorned with a grey hoodie, black ripped jeans and her favorite pair of combat boots. Her backpack was slung over one shoulder, adorned with various pins and keychains. It was the only thing on her that screamed something other than resting bitch face. Of course, the pentagram keychain would cause some controversy, along with the genderfluid keychain and the demisexual pin. Various witch and gothic-themed pins littered her backapck. A crystal ball with a banner reading “YOU ARE FULL OF MAGIC” in curisve, a black snake wrapped around a crescent moon, and a couple pins from her old schools. Her favorite pin was circular, depicting a golden crescent moon, the rest of the pin colored purple with little golden stars. Engraved in it were the words “Stay Wild Moon Child.” It was the first pin her father had ever gotten her and stayed with her throughout her school years.
Scarlett could feel the charms of the necklaces tucked under her shirt move every now and again as she leaned against her car. She wore three, two were made of cord and one was a metal chain. The first neckalce was a circular pendant, depicting three phases of the moon, waxing crescent, the full moon, and waning crescent. The second was a simple cage for a crystal, amethyst. The last one, the metal chain, held a much larger version of the pentagram keychain that hung from her backpack.
Scarlett was quite literally any Christian kid’s worst nightmare.
Her eyes roam over the rest of the parking lot, brow raising again when she notices a silver Volvo. Whoever’s Daddy bought that has some money. Scarlett looks over the car, eyes eventually wandering to the math building as she thinks about how boring Calculus will be. The bell rings, and Scarlett is quick to make her way into the building, finding the room with a little difficulty. She makes it a few minutes early, sitting down in a vacant spot in the far back corner. She tries to not draw attention to herself as she pulls out her notebook and led pencil, lightly chewing on her nail as she waits for class to start.
Once all of the students file in and take their seats, the teacher begins roll. Scarlett was one of the last kids on the list, correcting the teacher when he inevitably gets her last name wrong. Mirachei was not always an easy name to pronounce, and it often took a couple weeks before people were able to say it correctly.
As she expected, her first two classes went horribly slow. Calculus was just an intro day, just covering foundations students would have learned if not reviewed in Pre-Calculus. Physics was a little more difficult, though it was Calculus based Physics so she would have to learn the principles then implement the math as she learned both subjects. World Literature wasn’t hard, considering there had been no material given out to any of the students yet. Lunch eventually rolled around, and Scarlett had decided to grab her dance bag on the way to lunch instead of on the way out. Once she grabbed her bag, hauling it over her shoulder, she made her way into the cafateria. There was some hustle and bustle, mostly people chatting amongst each other. Once Scarlett had grabbed a tray, her brow furrowed as she thought of where to sit. However, that train of thought was quickly thrown out the window when a boy, most likely a year younger than her, walked up to her with a large smile.
He looked nerdy, his hair cut into a sideswept spiky style. He wore rectangular glasses that didn’t quite fit his face, and looked a little lanky in stature.
“Hi! I’m Eric, you must be the other new girl! Scarlett, right?” He smiled brightly at Scarlett, offering his hand for a shake.
Scarlett nods before awkwardly shaking his hand.
“Yeah, how’d you know?” Her brow furrows a fraction of an inch as she chews on the inside of her cheek.
“Oh, you and Bella are basically the talk of the school right now. Two new students? Almost never happens! You can come to sit with us if you want. Bella is with us. I can introduce you!”
Before Scarlett can respond he rushes back to a somewhat crowded table. Three girls and three guys, one of them Eric, sit at the table and he waves Scarlett over. Scarlett takes a breath before walking over to the table, readjusting her dance bag.
“Here, I’ll pull up a chair.” Eric wastes no time in grabbing a spare chair from the table next to the group, sliding it between him and a girl with decently long brunette hair and brown eyes.
Scarlett slowly sits down, shrugging off her dance bag and slipping it under her chair.
“Everybody, this is Scarlett! The other new girl.” Eric announces, a wide smile on his face.
Scarlett waves, chewing on the inside of her cheek as all eyes are drawn to her for the moment.
One of the girls, also brunette with brown eyes, smiles at Scarlett. It seems a little forced, and Scarlett picks up on a little bit of snarkiness from her.
“I’m Jessica Stanley. The girl next to me is Angela. The guy with the short blond hair is Mike. You already know Eric, and the last boy over here is Tyler.”
Scarlett nods in acknowledgement to each of them, feeling a little out of place.
“And I’m sure you already know the girl next to you. She’s Bella, the police chief’s daughter.”
Jessica nudges the girl next to Scarlett, making the girl flush before awkwardly waving to Scarlett.
“Hi, I’m Bella.” Her voice is small, and she tries her best to seem friendly.
“Well, its already obvious, but I’m Scarlett Mirachei. Moved from New Orleans if the accent doesn’t give it away.” Scarlett smiles wryly.
“Really? We were just talking about how Bella moved up from Phoenix.” Jessica smiles.
Scarlett looks over to Bella, who seems to be looking through the cafateria windows.
“Who are they?” She asks, eyes on the door as it opens.
“The Cullens? They’re Dr. and Mrs. Cullen’s foster kids.” Jessica leans in, almost as though the information is secretive. Scarlett raises a brow, listening intently. “They moved down here from Alaska, like, a few years ago. “
“They…kind of keep to themselves.” Angela added.
“Yeah, cuz they’re all together. Like, together together. Well, I say that. It’s only two of them. The blonde girl? That’s Rosalie. And then there’s the big dark-haired guy, Emmett. They’re like, a thing. I’m not even sure that’s legal.”
“Well, I mean, they’re not actually related.” Angela smiles.
“Well, yeah but they live together, its weird.”
Scarlett takes a bite of her food, watching as Rosalie and Emmett pass. As they do, it feels like pins and needles are suddenly jabbed into her nose. She covers her nose, hoping to mask the face she makes as her nose begins to burn.
Another two come in and Jessica begins talking again.
“Okay, the little dark-haired girl is Alice. She’s really weird. And that’s Jasper, the blond one who looks like he’s in pain.”
As they pass, two different smells seem to assault Scarlett’s nose simultaneously. One of them has the same burning smell as before, while the other is still a little unpleasant, but much more muted on the pain scale. Aside from the sharpness, she can pick up a faint hint of leather and pine. Something warm settles in her chest, making her body convulse. She masks it behind a cough, desperately trying to settle down.
No one seems to notice as Jessica keeps talking.
“Um, Dr. Cullen is like this foster dad/match maker.”
“Maybe he’ll adopt me.” Angela smiles, a dreamy look in her eyes.
Scarlett can feel her body drastically warming up, the convulsions seeming to not want to calm down. Scarlett tries desperately to take deep breaths, which seem to ward them off for the moment.
“Who’s he?”
Bella looks at the door as a boy with reddish-brown hair walks in, an almost sullen look on his face. Scarlett fights back another convulsion, her nose almost on fire as the burning scent assaults her nose once more.
Jessica smiles for a moment before speaking again.
“That’s Edward Cullen. He’s totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently nobody here is good enough for him. Jasper and Alice seem to think the same. But, like I care, you know?”
Its getting hard for Scarlett to focus on the conversation, and as soon as Edward passes by, she’s grabbing her dance bag.
“I think I’m gonna throw up.”
Scarlett puts a hand over her mouth as she grabs her dance bag before making a beeline to the door, rushing out as fast as she possibly can. The convulsions are only getting worse, more frequent and in some cases more violent. She doesn’t know what compels her to dash into the nearby woods, but as soon as she’s shielded by the foliage she’s dropping her dance bag. Her body feels too warm. Like there’s too many layers on her.
First goes her jacket, then her shirt. And when that’s not enough, the rest of her clothes go, too. As soon as the last of her garments are off of her, the convulsions become much more violent. They’re not painful, if anything they feel like dry heaving. Her eyes close as she leans against a tree for support.
And then suddenly they’ve stopped.
Scarlett’s eyes open, but things look different. She can see the detailing in the tree bark, look at each individual speck of moss. She almost feels taller in a sense, and she can smell things she’d never been able to before. She could smell the various animals in the trees, squirrels, birds, the occasional rat. She could smell the dormant gasoline in the cars in the parking lot. She could smell the leather of the seats, smell the various scents of the student body. Could smell that burning, overpowering scent. It was like a magnified spearmint, strong, cold, and unbearably sharp.
Scarlett looked down and her body went rigid. Instead of legs, she had paws. White, fluffy paws. Her head whips behind her, only to be met with a large, white fluffy pelt. Her large white fluffy pelt. Her tail was ramrod straight, and she heard the loud panting from her open mouth as panic flooded her system. She felt her ears twitch on top of her head as she desperately tried to process what she was seeing. She looked down at her clothes before looking back at her body.
Her first instinct was to panic. In a matter of seconds she was yelping in terror, whining as her head flitted this way and that. Trying to figure out what to do. She had to be dreaming, right? There’s no way she just turned into a fucking wolf. She needed to be admitted into a mental hospital.
But even as she spiraled, she caught a glimpse of her reflection in a dew drop resting on a fern. In striking clarity, she saw the wolf standing where she would have stood. Its fur was snow white, its eyes the exact same amber as Scarlett’s. Its snout was long, pointed, and large sharp teeth showed when she opened her mouth. She stood abnormally large. She would assume just standing on all fours she would be taller than her normal height.
The whining eventually died down as she analyzed her reflection in harsh detail. Was this…her? Was she…actually grounded in reality right now? Was she going insane? But everything felt real. Everything felt…alive. Like some dormant part of her was finally allowed to come out and play. Like this was something she had in her as long as she had been born, but there had just never been a right time to explore it.
Ironically, in that moment, the song “She Wolf” popped into her mind.
As she gradually calmed down, she was able to shift back into her regular self. Once she was back into her regular form, she was quick to put her clothes back on. Her skin seemed much more sensitive than before, and the abnormal body heat hadn’t gone away. Her sight was sharper than before, her hearing magnified as though she had put her ear to a megaphone. And her sense of smell… No longer was she sneezing, but everything seemed to have a heightened smell. Everything seemed…different.
Scarlett grabs her dance bag, thoughts racing a mile a minute.
What the hell was that? What just happened? Please let this just be a moment where I lost touch with reality. That…That wasn’t real. It can’t be.
Though it felt like that moment of insanity had last hours, in reality it had maybe lasted ten minutes. Most students were still in the cafateria. Scarlett could hear the buzzing of chatter from the woods, making her brow furrow. She decides to not go back to the cafateria, the noise is overwhelming from a distance. She makes her way to the athletic building, shocked to find it open. Her warm hand meets the cold, damp metal of the door, a shock to her system. She had to be running a fever.
Nonetheless, she felt fine, so she walked in.
Scarlett found the girl’s changing room and make quick work of changing into her leotard and tights. She grabs her jazz and ballet shoes, slipping on her jazz shoes to be safe before walking into the small dance studio. It had decent quality marley, though it had clearly been worn down and would need to be replaced soon. The mirrors didn’t span the entire wall and looked like they needed cleaning. And the ballet bars had clearly seen better days, most of them made from piping instead of proper plastic.
Scarlett grabbed her phone and wireless earbuds, slipping one into her ear before unlocking her phone. She walks to the center of the small studio, scrolling through her music library before picking up a song to stretch to. She slides into a split, making sure her feet are pointed before she leans first to her right side, stretching out the muscles in her legs and core. She does the same to her left side before transitioning into lunges, falling into an old ballet stretch routine.
She just finishes stretching out her ankles when other students and the teacher walk in. She puts her phone and earbuds away, finding a place on the floor as she waits for the other students. The teacher explains that this dance class covers jazz, ballet, and modern, and Scarlett can’t help the smile that comes over her face. The first unit is jazz, and within a couple minutes the students are stretching and getting to work.
The school had lumped beginner, intermediate, and advanced students together. Whether that would be helpful or detrimental, Scarlett wasn’t sure. It made the skill gap obvious, which no doubt would make the beginners feel insecure. But it would push the intermediates to perform on the level of the advanced students. So, it might just be a very delicate balance.
The teacher goes through a couple of stretch routines before doing a small lesson on technique. After that, she begins the students on a combination. It incorporates basic skills all dancers need for a jazz routine, though it is modified for the advanced dancers with a couple tricks and turn sequences.
The dance class is decently enjoyable for Scarlett, allowing her to forget all of her worries, fears, concerns, and questions about her mental stability. She rides the endorphin high of dancing into her last class of the day. She hums the combination music as she sits down, a pretty catchy song called “Bole to Harlem”. She pulls out her notebook, setting it on her desk as she runs through the dance combination in her head.
She’s only broken out of her reverie when that biting scent fills her nose again. She looks up, only to spot two of the Cullen kids finding their seats. One is the blonde girl Jessica had said was Rosalie. The other was the second blond, which Jessica had said was Jasper. Only two seats were available, one next to Scarlett and one at the front of the classroom. Rosalie quickly sat in the chair at the front, leaving Jasper to sit next to Scarlett. Scarlett was thankful Rosalie had sat in the front, as pretty as she looked her scent was making Scarlett’s lungs feel inflamed. As Jasper gradually got closer, Rosalie’s scent was eventually drowned out. Once Jasper sat down, a much different scent enveloped her senses.
The mix of leather and pine, with just a hint of that spearmint sensation. It felt much more welcoming and warm than his brother and sister’s scents. It was almost pleasant to breathe in, had her nose not been so terribly sensitive. Scarlett kept her head down, trying her best to keep her hand away from her nose as she fiddled with her pencil. She could vaguely feel warmth beginning to blossom in her chest as he settled in his seat, eyes facing forward.
He looked stiff, elbows on the table. The side of his right hand was pressed against his lips, his left hand covering his right. His chin-length hair partially obscured his face. Scarlett couldn’t get a read on him even if she wanted to, and some part of her seemed hurt at the realization. Class had begun, and Scarlett found it hard to tear her attention away from him. Part of her wanted to talk to him, get as close to him as possible. A very deep, almost possessive piece of her wanted to get close enough that her scent would waft onto him, warning people to stay away from him.
She had no clue where any of that was coming from, shaking her head to clear her mind before opening her notebook and beginning to take notes.
Nonetheless, the intrusive thoughts kept coming. With each inhale, another thought almost derailed her from focusing on the history lesson. It was near impossible for her to keep her head on straight. Her eyes would always drift to Jasper, who didn’t seem to have changed positions at all during the lesson so far. His back was rigid, his jaw clenched tight.
He looked uncomfortable.
Part of Scarlett wanted to reach out and comfort him, and for some odd reason she felt a whine building in the back of her throat. She quickly stamps it down, frowning as she tries her best to focus on the tail end of the lesson. She needed to check in with a therapist if not a mental hospital.
The bell rings, signalling the end of the lesson. As soon as it sounds, Jasper is bolting out the room, a huffy Rosalie following behind him. That part of Scarlett seems hurt, and its almost physically painful to watch him leave. Scarlett winces, closing her eyes. What the hell is wrong with me?
She grabs her notebook and bag, making her way to her car. As she throws her dance bag into the back of her car, she hears footsteps approaching from a longer distance than she normally could before. Her eyes peer up to find Bella tentatively walking over, watching her feet carefully as she walked. Once she makes it to Scarlett’s car, she smiles sheepishly.
“Hey, I never got to check on you? Are you feeling better?”
Despite not knowing Scarlett at all, Bella sounded oddly concerned. Scarlett fought with herself between telling the full truth or telling a half truth. Certainly this girl would think her crazy if she went “Yeah I’m okay, I just turned into a wolf and now all my senses are heightened.”
It was bad enough Scarlett already felt crazy, she didn’t need people believing that about her.
“Yeah, I’m okay. I have bad anxiety so social situations like that can really get the better of me.” Not an entire lie. Scarlett truthfully did have social anxiety, and in some cases would be bad enough to make her sick.
“Well, I’m glad you’re doing better. Hopefully tomorrow will be better?”
“I’m hoping. I never did get to hear much about you. I heard you’re new here, too?” Scarlett raises a brow, leaning against her car. She catches a whiff of Bella’s scent. Kind of floral, almost like peonies. Its much more tolerable than the scent the Cullens give off. Well, except for Jasper…
“Yeah, I moved up here with my dad a couple days ago.” Bella nods. “He’s the police chief for the town, so moving up here was a pretty big deal for the town, I guess.”
Scarlett chuckles, nodding.
“I came up here with my dad, too, funnily enough. Though he’s a military man. Got re-assigned to a position in Seattle. He likes to be away from all the hustle and bustle and found a little house for him and me up here. He lives on base most of the time, but he tries to come home when he can.”
Bella nods, fiddling with one of her book covers.
“Seems like a pretty big change from New Orleans. Though I guess I can empathize in that aspect. Its so much greener here than Phoenix.” Bella makes a face, wrinkling her nose.
Scarlett chuckles, popping her neck.
“Well, I’m just used to humid swamps. I’m basically getting the opposite here. And there’s no gators to make it interesting.” Scarlett mock pouts. “I’m hoping me and my dad can go crabbing in the Summer. Though if we do it up here it would be a lot different than back home.”
Bella nods, smiling.
“My dad fishes, I’m more of a homebody. Sit and home and read books, you know?”
“Felt you there, sis. Felt you there.” Scarlett smiles. “I probably shouldn’t keep you much longer, huh? Don’t want that police chief of a dad getting worried, yeah?”
Bella chuckles, smiling at Scarlett.
“No, worrying Charlie wouldn’t be a good idea. So…see you tomorrow?”
Scarlett nods, smiling at Bella.
“I’ll be here.”
Bella smiles before walking to her vehicle, the old and rusted red Chevy that Scarlett had spotted earlier. She slips into the truck, buckling in before starting it. The truck loudly revs to life, making Scarlett flinch. One of the bad things about old trucks, they’re fucking loud. Scarlett slips into her own car as she watches Bella pull out and take a right, driving down the highway. Scarlett buckles her own seatbelt as she shuts the car door, starting her own car. She checks her mirrors before pulling out, taking a left onto the highway.
The drive is short, and within ten minutes she’s taking the turn at Snakehill Road. At the end of the road is the little house her father had bought. It’s a little two-story house, two bedroom and two bathroom. There was a small balcony on the second floor, in front of Scarlett’s bedroom. The house was painted light blue, giving off a nice contrast to the green of the trees and grass around it. She pulls into the small carport, her dad’s spot empty. He most likely wouldn’t be back until the end of the month, leaving Scarlett with money to get groceries as needbe.
Scarlett slips out of her car, grabbing both of her bags before shutting the door and locking her car. She grabs the house key on her key ring, slipping it into the lock on the door before pushing the door open. The living room is mid-sized, homey. A white sofa and loveseat sit parallel to each other, propped against the two grey walls. A TV is mounted on the wall, an entertainment center under it full of movies, video games, and various consoles. A couple framed photos sit on top of the entertainment center, most of them of Scarlett and her father.
A large fluffy grey rug covers the space between the couches and in front of the entertainment center, a nice place to sit when Scarlett gets bored of the couches. To the right of the large couch is the framed entrance to the kitchen. It followed the same grey and white color scheme as the living room. A small grey island with a white and black granite countertop, the same granite along the rest of the counter. The cabinets were painted grey, the double sink pristine and shiny. The oven was just as clean, the dish washer light blinking to signal that the load of dishes was done.
Scarlett takes a right, walking into the little hallway that held the staircase. It was almost entirely tucked away from the first floor of the house, next to her father’s bedroom. She walks up the carpeted stairs, making her way to her bedroom. She smiles as she looks at the small painting that hangs on it. It’s a purple, pink, and blue galaxy she hand-painted her freshman year. She slowly opens the door to her bedroom.
It’s covered in moon-themed décor. The ceiling has countless stars and a large moon right above her bed. The walls, painted dark purple, are covered in countless posters, some from video games, others from book series. An ornate dream catcher, made of wood with white, blue, and purple thread, hangs from her ceiling fan. Her white desk sits by the wall next to her window, her black and white gaming chair pushed in as far as it would go. Her monitor sits calmly on the desk, her lilac mouse sitting calmly on its matching mousepad.
Lavender fairy lights were strung along the ceiling along with decorative vines. Some of those vines were strung above her window. Various plants sat on the windowsill. Various flowers and a couple decorative succulents. Her dresser and closet were both terribly messy, the only real indicator that she was still a teenager. Various articles of clothing (most of them black) were strewn around that area, a couple folded socks poking out from one of her dresser drawers.
Her mattress sat on an ornate metal frame, loops of metal partially covered by a slew of pillows and stuffed animals. Lavender sheets and a lilac lacy bedspread covered the mattress, matching pillows cushioning what she lovingly called her “plushie army”. Various stuffed animals, from squishmallows to Pokemon plushes to Five Nights at Freddy’s plushes to even the odd Cabbage Patch Kids doll. Truly, it was a respectable army, notorious for the soft comfort they provided her in sleep and during her darkest moments.
Her favorite thing in her room, however, had to be her bluetooth speaker. She carried it with her when she would go down to the living room to practice her dance routines, rolling up the carpet to give herself the proper surface to practice her turns or grabbing her slab of wood so she can practice a tap routine. She would always have it when she would go to take a shower, playing music depending on her mood. It could result in a jam session or even an emotional karaoke session depending on the day.
She was thinking that karaoke might be the way to go tonight after getting some dinner. After putting her bags on her bed, Scarlett makes her way into the kitchen. She fixes herself a couple ham and cheese sandwiches before grabbing a bag of jalapeno Cheetos. She honestly didn’t know why her father hadn’t just stocked the pantry with chips, it was one of the few things Scarlett ever ate consistently.
She sat on the couch, flipping through the various TV channels as she ate before eventually settling for opening YouTube and finding a true crime video. As the video played, she ate her food, eventually going through the entire bag of Cheetos. For some reason she was abnormally hungry, eating much more than usual. For a split second her mind went to pregnancy before she rolled her eyes, reminding herself that wasn’t a possibility since she’d never had sex before.
As she thought about it, her mind eventually went back to the spectacle that had caused all of her mental anguish. Could it be because of the wolf transformation? “Transformation” was the only word she could use to describe what happened. One minute she was normal, then the next she was a wolf. It was something she had only heard in horror stories but had happened to her. She pinches herself, wincing when it hurts. She wasn’t dreaming, and she certainly wasn’t hallucinating. But if those weren’t explanations, then what was? Surely if she brought this up to her father, he would think she had watched another scary movie and had a nightmare. And no one at school could give her an explanation. They didn’t even know her.
If she wanted any answers, she’d have to look them up on her own. She sighed as she got up from the couch, throwing the empty bag of chips in the trash can before washing her hands. She dies them off before grabbing her World Literature book, walking back into the living room. She begins her reading assignment, which isn’t due until the end of the week. True crime videos play one after the other as she reads. It’s almost eight by the time she finishes reading and taking notes, putting together a summary of her understanding of the story.
She looks at the clock, frowning. It’s still early by her standards, but maybe a shower would do her some good. After all, today had been less than normal. She walks back up the stairs, putting her books away before grabbing a change of clothes and making her way into her bathroom. She turns the water on to scalding hot, making quick work of stripping out of her clothes. But she stops when she looks in the mirror, brows furrowing in confusion.
Instead of a soft, squishy tummy like she was used to, hard and chiseled muscles had begun to form. She didn’t quite have abs yet, but she looks well on her way to it without having done anything. Muscles had also begun to form along her arms, shoulders, and legs. She shakes her head, walking into the shower. But unlike usual, the scalding water doesn’t feel the same. It’s much more comfortable than it is burning. Scarlett can smell the leftover scent of her body wash from the night before. She pops open the cap, the scent of the bottle much more distinctive to her nose. The hints of grapefruit are much stronger, along with the hints of other fruit mixed in.
She sighs, squirting some of the soap onto the loofa before cleaning her body, much more aware of what parts of her were dirty and what was covered in sweat. She washes her hair next, hyperaware of the notes of lavender and rosemary in the shampoo and conditioner. After rinsing the conditioner out of her hair she steps out of the shower, brows furrowed. She buries her nose in her towel, finding that the smell of the detergent and scent crystals is much more prominent to her as well. Even her own clothes had a scent to them, something vaguely tropical, almost like hibiscus.
She dries off, feeling each fiber of the towel as it rubs against her skin, collecting the leftover water. She slips on her nightclothes, a t-shirt, and a pair of shorts, before drying her hair and walking back to her room. She sits in her chair, turning on her computer. She sets an alarm for ten before opening her Steam client and looking for a game to play. She eventually settles on playing Plants Vs. Zombies. She had already beaten the game to full completion aside from a couple achievements and decides to see if she can get them.
She plays until her alarm goes off, “The Kids Aren’t Alright” by Fall Out Boy playing as the alarm goes off. Scarlett turns off the alarm, pausing the Pool level before closing the game. She turns off her computer, sliding out from under her desk so she can collapse on her bed. She lazily plugs in her phone, making sure her alarm is set for the next morning.
She rearranges her plushie army so that she can slip under the covers, turning on her fairy lights so the room is bathed in a light purple glow. She lay her head on one of her fluffy pillows, laying on her stomach. As she closes her eyes, her mind drifts to the Cullen family. Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, Edward, Jasper…
Jasper seemed to want to stick in her mind more than the rest. Why did only Jasper smell nice out of all of them? Why did Jasper look so uncomfortable all the time? Why did Jasper seem so closed off? And what was with all this wolf business? Why did seeing him like that make her feel so…bad? Like she needed to comfort him?
Late night thoughts were the bane of her existence, and Jasper’s expression was on her mind even as she fell asleep, surrounded by the smiling faces of her squishmallows.

Jasper x lioness shapeshifter This is after Edward and Bella are dating. They both do not like the reader
Edward can not read her mind.. where she imprints on him knowing he is vampire but turns out to be a teacher's aide. He knows she is a shapeshifter but does not know what animal yet. They pass notes back in secret. Eventually she tells him she has a little girl. She brings her when she gets invited to dinner at the cullen's. Dinner happens and they all hang outside. Edward being the whine ass he is , calls the reader some names. She tells Edward to stop and he continues it gets bad enough, the major comes out and tells him to back off. Edward then threatened the reader's little girl. The major goes to kick his butt, but the reader pulls him back and that's when she shifted into a lioness, tears Edward legs off ( they get put back on). She did shift back into a human. she changes back into regular clothes, Everyone has noticed she has vampire bite marks all over her body. She explains she's immune to vampire bites.

Generations ago, (y/n)'s ancestors were bestowed with a unique and powerful gift — the ability to shift into the form of a magnificent lioness. This shapeshifting ability was a sacred inheritance, passed down through the family bloodline. For centuries, their clan had embraced their dual nature, embracing both the human world and the wild spirit of the lioness.
As the latest inheritor of this remarkable legacy, (y/n) found herself straddling two worlds. Her lioness form was a majestic embodiment of strength, grace, and primal instincts. It was a bond that connected her to the natural world in a profound way, allowing her to run through the forests with the wind in her mane and the earth beneath her paws.
But (y/n) wasn't alone in her journey. She had a three-year-old daughter, a little cub who might carry the same shapeshifting gift within her as she grew older. The potential for her daughter to also become a lioness shapeshifter once she reached puberty was both a source of pride and a cause for concern. The thought of her child embracing this ancient legacy brought a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
Tragedy had also shaped (y/n)'s path. Her daughter's father, the man who had shared a part of his life with her, had fallen victim to hunters. The loss was a painful reminder of the challenges faced by their kind. The existence of lioness shapeshifters was often kept hidden from the human world, a secret that was essential for their survival.
In search of a fresh start, (y/n) decided to move to the quiet town of Forks to finish her senior year of high school. The lush forests and serene surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for her to navigate both her human and lioness identities. She hoped to shield her daughter from the dangers that had claimed her father's life, all while preparing her for the day she might come into her own shapeshifting abilities.
In the serene town of Forks, (y/n) had settled in with her daughter, creating a new life for themselves. Every morning, for the past week she would drop her precious child off at daycare before heading to school. As she walked through the school campus, she noticed a group of students she hadn't encountered before, the Cullens. Among them, Edward seemed to be particularly perplexed.
Unbeknownst to him, (y/n) possessed a unique quality that made her impervious to his mind-reading ability. It was as if her thoughts were veiled in a shroud of secrecy, hidden from his probing senses. This anomaly intrigued and frustrated Edward simultaneously, stirring emotions he hadn't experienced in a long time.
He had grown accustomed to effortlessly delving into the thoughts of those around him, deciphering their fears, hopes, and secrets. Yet here was (y/n), a enigmatic enigma whose thoughts remained tantalizingly out of reach. This lack of access to her mind left him puzzled and eager to uncover her mysteries.
It was now time for history class at Forks High School, (y/n) found herself seated next to Jasper Hale. It was a surprise to her that he didn't seem affected by her scent, unlike the rest of his family. She could sense his calm and controlled demeanor, which was nice to come across especially when she’s been around hormonal students all day.
As the teacher assigned them to work together for the day's lesson, (y/n) and Jasper exchanged polite greetings. They began discussing the topic at hand, and to her surprise, she found that they had quite a bit in common. They shared a mutual interest in historical events and had similar perspectives on some key aspects of history.
As they delved into their assignment, their conversation flowed effortlessly. They exchanged thoughts and opinions, occasionally sharing anecdotes and insights that kept the discussion engaging. (y/n) noticed that Jasper had a deep understanding of human emotions, likely due to his unique ability to sense and manipulate them, not that she knew that.
As the class continued, (y/n) realized that Jasper's presence had a calming effect on her. His aura of tranquility seemed to resonate with her lioness shapeshifter instincts, creating a sense of comfort she hadn't expected to find in the presence of a vampire. She was intrigued by his ability to control and channel his emotions, wondering if it was something she could learn from him.
Throughout the class, (y/n) and Jasper discovered even more shared interests and viewpoints. They both had a penchant for analyzing historical events from multiple perspectives, and their discussion delved into various aspects of culture, society, and human nature. It was a refreshing experience for (y/n), who had often felt like an outsider due to her unique nature.
As the class session came to an end, (y/n) and Jasper exchanged smiles, acknowledging the unexpected connection they had formed. While their backgrounds and circumstances were vastly different, their shared interests had bridged the gap and created a bond of understanding. They both looked forward to future conversations, eager to explore their common ground further.
As the weeks went by, the tension between (y/n) and Edward seemed to grow. Edward's frustration with his inability to read her mind had turned into a resentment that extended to Bella as well. Bella's loyalty to Edward led her to share in his feelings towards (y/n), even though she didn't fully understand the source of their dislike.
Meanwhile, (y/n) and Jasper's friendship continued to flourish. They spent time discussing history, sharing stories, and learning from each other's unique perspectives. They also participated in passing notes to one another in class, jasper had shared his secret of being a vampire and she had shared hers of being a shapeshifter, though he wasn’t sure which kind yet.
Jasper had become one of the few vampires (y/n) felt truly comfortable around, partly due to his calm and understanding nature.
One day, Jasper extended an invitation to (y/n) for dinner at the Cullen house. He suggested that she bring her daughter along, as he was aware of her presence in (y/n)'s life. Intrigued by the offer and hoping for a chance to bridge the gap with the Cullens, (y/n) agreed.
On the appointed evening, (y/n) and her daughter arrived at the Cullen residence. She felt a mixture of nervousness and curiosity, unsure of how the rest of the family would react to her presence. She held her daughter's hand as they approached the front door, taking a deep breath to calm her own emotions.
Jasper greeted them with a warm smile and invited them inside. The Cullen family was present, and their initial reactions ranged from surprise to curiosity. Bella and Edward's expressions were guarded, while others seemed more open-minded.
As the dinner progressed, (y/n) and her daughter engaged in polite conversation with the Cullens. She was careful to maintain a respectful distance from Edward, sensing the animosity between them. However, she found herself enjoying conversations with Jasper, Carlisle, Esme, and even Rosalie, who was surprisingly welcoming.
All seemed to be going well, until it wasn’t.
During dinner, as (y/n) tried to engage in pleasant conversation with the Cullens, she noticed that Edward's behavior was taking a hostile turn. He began making belittling comments directed at her, seemingly determined to provoke a reaction. Despite feeling hurt by his words, (y/n) chose to ignore him, not wanting to escalate the situation.
However, Edward's snarky remarks continued throughout the meal, and it became clear that he was intentionally trying to upset her. Bella, seated next to Edward, appeared uncomfortable with his behavior but didn't intervene. (y/n) could sense the tension in the room, and she could see that even Jasper was growing increasingly irritated by Edward's conduct.
As the dinner progressed, (y/n) focused on maintaining her composure and not allowing Edward's comments to get to her. She continued to converse with the others, seeking solace in the more positive interactions she was having with the rest of the family. But Edward's continued taunts were like a persistent thorn, making it difficult for her to fully enjoy the evening.
Eventually, Jasper's patience reached its limit. Unable to tolerate Edward's behavior any longer, he spoke up, his voice laced with frustration. "Edward, that's enough. You're out of line," he warned, his tone firm.
Edward looked taken aback by Jasper's intervention, not expecting such a strong reaction from his usually calm and collected brother. Bella looked equally surprised by the turn of events, her attention now fully on the unfolding confrontation.
Jasper's gaze locked onto Edward's, his golden eyes filled with a stern resolve. "You need to watch yourself, Edward. This behavior isn't acceptable, especially in our home," he continued, his voice unwavering.
(y/n) watched the exchange, a mixture of relief and surprise washing over her. She had not expected Jasper to speak up on her behalf, but his actions sent a clear message that he was not going to tolerate any mistreatment of their guest.
“Thank you jasper,” (y/n) says before taking a glance at her daughter who was preoccupied with playing with Rosalie and Emmett’s hands, “But I was just going to continue ignoring him.”
“He has no right,” he muttered.
The atmosphere grew increasingly tense as Edward continued to make snide remarks during dinner. (y/n) could feel her own patience wearing thin, and it was clear that Jasper's restraint was also waning. Just as she thought the situation might escalate further, Edward muttered yet another offensive comment under his breath, the final straw that broke the camel's back.
Jasper's normally composed demeanor shifted dramatically, and his alter ego, the Major, emerged with an intensity that was impossible to ignore. In an instant, he was on his feet, his eyes darkened with a mix of anger and determination. He moved swiftly towards Edward, who looked both surprised and apprehensive as Jasper's presence commanded the room.
Without hesitation, Jasper's powerful punch landed squarely on Edward's jaw, sending him crashing back against the wall with a stunned expression. The force of the impact left Edward momentarily incapacitated, his usual arrogance replaced with shock.
However, the sudden altercation was far from over. Just as Jasper's punch landed, (y/n) felt a surge of fury and protection coursing through her veins. The sight of Edward being physical with jasper seemed to trigger something primal within her. In an instant, her lioness instincts took over, and her transformation into her lioness form was swift and decisive.
With a roar that echoed through the room, (y/n) lunged forward, her massive claws and jaws aimed at Edward. In a flash, her powerful grip closed around his leg, and with a single, swift motion, she ripped it off. The room was filled with a combination of shock and horror as the unexpected violence unfolded before their eyes.
Rosalie, ever alert to the well-being of (y/n)'s daughter, acted swiftly. She scooped up the young child in her arms and, together with Alice, quickly exited the room, shielding her from witnessing the gruesome scene that was unfolding.
The aftermath of the chaos was palpable. Edward's pained cries filled the room, and (y/n) was still in her lioness form, her eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and a wild, protective instinct. Jasper, his alter ego the Major receding, stood nearby, his expression a mix of concern and understanding.
Carlisle, Esme, and the rest of the Cullen family were left in shock, struggling to process the sudden violence that had erupted within their midst. The events had unfolded so rapidly that there was little time to react.
As the reality of what had transpired settled in, the room fell into an uneasy silence, broken only by the sound of Edward's labored breathing. The unexpected turn of events had left everyone shaken, and the fragile equilibrium of the room had been shattered.
With the threat to her daughter's well-being now removed, Rosalie focused on ensuring (y/n)’s child remained unaware of the chaos that had unfolded. She, along with Alice, would provide comfort and reassurance, sheltering her from the darker aspects of the situation.
In the aftermath of the incident, the Cullens were faced with a difficult choice: how to address the repercussions of the violence and the rift it had caused within their family. The once peaceful evening had transformed into a tumultuous display of emotions, leaving them all to grapple with the unexpected and its far-reaching consequences.
As the tension in the room slowly began to ebb, (y/n) felt the shift within herself and started to revert to her human form. The transformation was accompanied by a sensation of reorientation and a return to her human senses. She looked around, her eyes locking onto the concerned faces of the Cullen family.
Esme, with her innate warmth, stepped forward and offered (y/n) a set of clean clothes. Grateful for the gesture, (y/n) accepted the clothes and retreated to a more private corner of the room to change. The new attire felt refreshing against her skin, helping to soothe the lingering tension that still coursed through her veins.
Once she was dressed, (y/n) rejoined the Cullens, her composure steadier now that she was back in her human form. But it wasn't long before their attention was drawn to the faded bite marks on her arms and exposed legs. The telltale marks were evidence of her encounters with vampires, and the curiosity in the room was palpable.
“I would like to apologize for my behavior just now”, she says. “It wasn’t my intention to come into your home and start a fight.”
With a sigh, (y/n) met their gaze and knew she needed to explain.
“Oh my,” esme holds a hand to her mouth noticing the scars. “Your arms…”
"I've had my fair share of run-ins with vampires, some of them not the friendliest." She looked down at the faded bite marks, her tone a mixture of sadness and determination. "But the thing is, I'm immune to vampire bites."
The room fell silent as her words hung in the air, the Cullens processing the revelation. It was a rare trait, one that set her apart even further from the supernatural world she had become a part of.
Carlisle, ever the inquisitive and compassionate one, stepped forward. "That's quite a unique ability you have there, (y/n). Would you mind telling us more about how you discovered this immunity?"
(y/n) nodded, appreciating the genuine interest in his voice. "It was a gradual realization, really. I had a few encounters with vampires who tried to bite me, but the venom had no effect. After a while, I realized that I could resist their bites completely."
Esme's expression softened with empathy. "That must have been quite a shock to discover."
"It was," (y/n) agreed, her gaze distant as she recalled the past. "But it also gave me an advantage. It meant I could defend myself in ways others couldn't."
Jasper, who had remained quiet during the conversation, finally spoke up. "Your ability is indeed a remarkable one. It must have served you well."
(y/n) nodded, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "Yes, it has. But enough about me. I believe we have more pressing matters to address."
The Cullens exchanged glances, the events of the evening still fresh in their minds. As (y/n) steered the conversation toward the present, they realized that the chaos that had unfolded had implications that needed to be addressed. With the weight of the situation heavy in the air, they began to discuss their next steps and how to navigate the aftermath of the unexpected altercation.
In the midst of uncertainty, (y/n) found herself among a group of supernatural beings who were grappling with their own challenges and emotions. The bonds formed that evening were complex and layered, and the newfound understanding between them would shape the path they were destined to walk together.
