Wish there was a way to begin to explain what happened tonight during stream because there’s some kind of gold in Jim thinking that Riddler is fairy (like tinkerbell) but everyone else just thinks he’s calling Ed a slur and the pipeline it leads down, connecting to Bruce thinking babies come from kissing, all the way to Jim asking Ed and Oswald if Tim was “their fairy baby and Tim telling Steph “I think Jim just called me a fairy.” Steph: “sorry you had to find out this way, but we all kind of knew.”
#ravenpuff rambles#y’all it’s fucking wild out here I’m telling you#and it’s the funniest shit in my life to think about Jim having no idea fairy can be used as a slur#and he’s just convinced Ed is an actual mythical being#while literally everyone he talks to keeps going “I don’t think you can say that Jim#all of Gotham is begging their commissioner to stop being homophobic. Jim is just fucking confused why no one is as excited about this as he#also Bruce got bad sex ed in school and then Alfred forgot he was a parent and needed to give Bruce the talk so he just kind of never#learned a goddamn thing.#Bruce tells every one of his kids babies come from kissing. every single time Alfred spits out his tea in shock because B still doesnt know#he has like 12 children and fathered at least one of them biologically and Alfred things surely he’d figure it out#he never does#meanwhile Bruce things talking about kissing makes Alfred uncomfortable because he’s old and British#Luckily the kids at least got a better education#Dick had to learn himself but he gave Jason the full talk with PowerPoints and everything#(Jason begged him to stop because he could learn through books. dick refused)#every subsequent kid has been informed by the one before them#So Jason is unfortunately tasked with teaching Tim.#Tim passes it on to Duke. Duke to Damian. etc#Babs gave Cass the talk though. Dick refused because he had done his one brotherly duty and Jason refused because Cass was older then him#so to Babs it was.#she also gave Steph the talk against her will which Steph thought was stupid because she had already had a kid by then#none of them are allowed to tell Bruce the truth though#Jason tried and Dick covered his mouth before he could finish.#Damian has tried several times but is always interrupted but Tim appearing out of nowhere and tackling him to the ground#I love this stupid fucking family your honor

Angst, cause why not?
“Please stop looking at me like I’m dead.” And it’s Jason on truth serum, obviously directed towards Bruce.
Jason’s love language being physical touch but never letting anyone get close enough to touch him.
The whole idea of Bruce being Batman as a means of self harm because he feels at fault for the injustice and death of his parents. Making him throwing himself into vigilantism after Jason’s death so painful.
Jason only living for revenge, his only driving force to move forward is to get Justice for his death. But when he makes “peace” with the family, what does he have to live for?
Dick always trying to be open and loving to Tim and Damian because he partially blames himself for Jason running away because of his angsty teen/early twenties.
Jason has multiple alarms set in the morning, the sounds for these alarms are his family’s voices telling him they love him (because he doesn’t think he’ll ever hear them say it again).
After Janet and Jack Drake die, Tim keeps paying their phone bills so he can text their numbers. They obviously don’t respond, but that’s how it was before they passed so it doesn’t make much of a difference.
Drawing is Damian’s outlet, it’s like another part of his soul. At school it is the main thing people make fun of him for.
“There is a difference between choosing and taking responsibility for your actions.” Damian during a fight with Tim on why he believes he is the least loved child in Bruce’s heart.
Bruce being convinced for YEARS as a child that he was a curse because of his parents deaths

Can I request a batfamily x male reader where reader is the youngest member(just a few months or so younger than Damien) and brings home a tiger he’s somehow managed to tame and is trying to convince his family to let him keep it?
This is something that Damian would do too.
Summary: (Y/N) brings a tiger to the manor. Family is shocked to say the least.
Warnings:
Tumblr media
Bruce noticed something about his youngest son. Damian and (Y/N) shared the same love for animals and that was something that made Damian bond over. But there was now something off about his youngest son.
Every time Alfred bought some meat, it went missing. And (Y/N) was always near the barn on the property, just spending time there. Bruce thought nothing over that, maybe he was playing with Titus. But why was meat going missing then?
He asked Damian about it, but Damian had no idea. Titus may have been on a raw diet, but there was meat specifically for him, bagged and dated on a shelf. So that left Bruce scratching his head. Where was the meat going? And what was in the barn?
Well, the truth was a little bit different. (Y/N) was responsible for the disappearance of meat, but for a very important reason. And maybe a bad reason for Bruce, but (Y/N) had no choice.
The tiger from the Zoo escaped and somehow ended up on the Wayne property. So what did (Y/N) do? He somehow tamed the tiger and named it King
Tiger made it's home in the barn, happy to be here. It took a while for (Y/N) to tame him, but it was nice to see that the tiger trusted him. He came here often, always destressing from the patrol or just from pressure in general.
There was a small problem though. A minute one.
The family didn't know that there was a tiger. Bruce would be livid about it, Damian would be excited, Tim and Jason would be that's cool and Dick would just be okay with it.
But still, there was no way to tell the reactions of his family members. He just needs to find a way to tell them without giving Bruce a heart attack. Maybe he should tell Damian first and slowly ease every single member into the news?
He sighed as he sat down on the hay, the tiger walked towards him, plopping down onto (Y/N)'s lap. He nuzzled his nose against (Y/N)'s legs. (Y/N) smiled, petting his head, feeling the soft purr. Well, it wasn't really a purr, but still. King blinked slowly, showing he appreciated it.
" Damian, what's going on with your brother? " Bruce asked Damian, sitting down at the edge of the bed. Damian shrugged his shoulders, honestly not knowing.
" I don't know father, he didn't tell me anything. "
" Do you know why he is going to the barn so often? " Bruce pressed.
" I don't know. Titus doesn't go towards the barn so... Pennyworth either. " Damian said, cleaning his blade.
" He didn't tell you anything? " Bruce still pressed.
" Nothing father. You should talk to him after dinner. " Damian suggested.
" Maybe I should. " Bruce said to himself.
" But I don't think that it's anything serious. " Damian said. (Y/N) was the most normal kid out of this entire manor so the chances of him having any type of problem that he needs to hide are low as hell.
Bruce wanted to talk to his son, but (Y/N) was quick to leave to the barn after dinner. Bruce frowned at the his son's behavior. Something was completely off.
Bruce decided to ask the others to help him talk to (Y/N). Almost like an intervention. They moved quietly to the barn, listening to the words (Y/N) was saying.
" I know, I love you too. "
Bruce has had enough of the secrecy. He opened the door and he felt his eyes widening.
" Brother is that a tiger? " Damian asked, not afraid of the animal. He moved closer, sitting down closer to not anger the tiger. It was obvious that the tiger was protective of (Y/N) and Damian allowed the big cat to sniff his hand. It grumbled and nuzzled against the palm of his hand.
" This is so cool! " Jason said, also moving closer.
" Holy shit... " Tim said, trailing off.
Dick didn't know what to say. He expected that from Damian, not from (Y/N).
" YOU BROUGHT A TIGER?! " Bruce yelled out, making the said tiger raise his head and growl.
Bruce took a deep breath to calm himself down. He pinched the bridge of his nose.
" We can't keep him. " Bruce said, way more calmer.
" Too late for that. " Dick said, still kind of speechless.
Bruce sighed, trying not to lose his mind. He expected this from Damian and not from (Y/N). My God.
" So we are keeping him father? " Damian asked, scratching the tiger's head.
Bruce sighed once more. This is the craziest thing ever.
" Apparently so. " Bruce said, clearly outnumbered by his kids.
" You will love him Bruce. " (Y/N) said, smiling.
Bruce sighed for the nth time, thinking about the fact that he will have to make a facility for the tiger. Barn is not a suitable place for this animal.
" I guess then we are going to keep him. " Bruce said, rubbing his eyes.

I need to not let jokes irritate me, but for the record:
Tim's morality doesn't come 'from a list on the fridge from Batman' or 'not wanting to be gun Batman'.
Tim, at his core, decided that he could not be a bystander when things were going wrong, and chose to step up and help. When faced with the decision of "someone has to do this difficult thing" he said "I'm someone", after trying to get someone with more training and expertise to take the role. And when he was older and there were others who could take the support role he had found for himself, he chose again to stay with his allies and follow the mission and protect Gotham, because the job was not complete.
"[Dick] taught me to never back away from any possibility that might lead to the truth."
When Tim thought he'd killed a criminal in the course of arresting them? He beat himself up with guilt and trained harder and in even more investigative and fighting techniques to stop it happening again.
But the clone lab/Lazarus water/blowing up Ra's bases/Captain Boomerang! Yes, those are things that Tim did at his lowest, when he was hurting from an enormous amount of loss. And he: chose to stop attempting the cloning and apologised to Conner for it on Kon's return; poured out the Lazarus water; look was admittedly pretty dodgy here but it's not like it's the first time Bat characters have destroyed Lazarus Pits on purpose; and chose to save Boomerang. He did not go through with things when people close to him reached out and acknowledged his pain.
What, other people blew up Lazarus pits? Yeah for a while there Bruce was funding Bane to run around the world destroying them and handing over details of known ones...look it's a whole involved thing due to fallout from Legacy and a conspiracy to convince Bane that he was Bruce's half brother, don't worry about it.
Bruce and Dick have both had to be restrained from killing, on occasion, when caught in rage and despair. There have been deaths that they didn't intervene in, and guilt they ALSO carry over this. Babs' moral code includes working with criminals, stealing money from corrupt officials and international conglomerates and hacking processing power from the Pentagon. Cass, after swearing to never kill again, broke Shiva's neck and hung her over a Lazarus pit to fall in because that didn't QUITE meet her definition of killing. It's not about 'are your ethics pure at all times'. It's about the choices they've made, even after a mistake.
Tim fears he's become too like Bruce at his most rigid and analytical on occasion (16th birthday paranoia; developing protocols when he was older which he insisted he wouldn't when he was younger; 'testing' himself with Boomerang). His reaction has been that it was even MORE important to him to ensure that he's acting in an ethical manner, and he's consistently passed that test.
He's not fated to be evil. There are afaik three (3) future/alternate universe storylines where Tim 'goes evil'. One is DCAU, where he was made Joker Jr because the Diniverse doesn't HAVE a Jason, Tim there is a composite (plus you know, he was tortured to that point). The second is Earth-3, which is, I remind you, the 'good and evil are reversed' universe. The third is Titans of Tomorrow. Future Evil Tim gets occasional storylines because it's a compelling mirror to hold up to Tim's ACTUAL morality.
Plus, if there is one single person who could be said to determine Tim's ethics and appears at the centre of his moral code, it's OBVIOUSLY Dick, not Bruce *waves at Bruce Wayne: Murderer/Fugitive and Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul*

I come again w/ another Tim Drake au!!
So there's this fanfic "If We Could Only Utter the Words Left Unsaid" by TaintedCure on AO3
And now I wanna share an idea
TW for suicide because of Timothy + death-fueled-time-travel
Basically, whenever somebody kills Tim, they go back in time, and there's no limit to how many times he can die. they go back far enough to prevent his death or not do an attempt on his life
He dies during Titans Tower? Back in time you go Jason!
Cut his line and he broke his neck and died? Damian is now back in time!
Some goon cracked his skull too well? Say hello to the past bucko!
Hell, even accidental murders still register so if you were to accidentally push him off too high a ledge you're getting the Time Travel Treatment
Hey maybe Tim still is aware of his time travel powers, but only when it comes to natural causes (like hypothermia) or suicides, so as a result he thinks he knows it all when he in fact doesn't
So yeah, unless somebody spills, Tim is clueless to the whole truth of his powers
I imagine only old age would do him in at this rate
It'd be like real interesting to see all the POVs, especially if they think they know all the loops
Like there's Tim who's regularly exploited his powers to get perfect results but is trying to convince himself he isn't being too frivolous with his life since he's saving lives or making them better
Then there's the people who did him in and may or may not even be aware that the time travel they experiences was because they killed the Third Robin or got him killed
Then there's the people who've done him in maybe one, twice or multiple times and have clocked into the fact that murdering Tim is an exercise in futility
TW: suicide (powers revolving traveling time by dying), violence/abuse (skip the angst if you don't want the second one), and death.
Now, this is a very interesting concept, and I'm probably gonna get lost in the setup for a bit.
The way that Tim's powers work would have to be defined really well. How far back can he go? In the fic you mentioned, he has a save point, basically. He can die an infinite amount of times, but he'll only return to his save point unless he reaches past the OG time he died. He can play around as much as he wants between the savepoint and his death, but a new savepoint gets set up after he passes his OG death time. It also indicated a decrease in time he went back (or his savepoint was established) so that he'll eventually die for good if he kept using his powers. That solves a lot of continuity issues.
However, the setup for Tim's powers could be like SSS-Class Suicide Hunter. For those who aren't familiar, the MC revives 24 hours in the past. He ends up killing himself thousands of times to end up at least a decade in the past. It's been a while since I've read it, but that's the basics of it.
If we're working off of those rules, anyone who kills Tim is only working with 24 hours in the past. You can add more or less time to fit your AU better.
I have some questions about the setup. You mentioned that the person who kills Tim would get sent back without his knowledge. Therefore, in Tim's mind, has he never been murdered? Or, is it a two for one ride into the past? Does the villain get sent back into the past, but Tim doesn't know the past has been changed? Or does Tim get sent back as well, but he doesn't know the villain is also sent back?
Imma get into the angst in a bit if Tim doesn't get sent back into the past when he gets murdered.
However, the issue with this is fucking with the timestream. If a goon kills Tim, ends up 24 hours in the past, and past Tim kills himself within those 24 hours, what the hell is the timeline? Does the goon still get sent back in time? Does Tim get sent back, and then, when the goon is supposed to, his consciousness gets sent back during that time? Does Tim killing himself wipe out the goon being able to travel back in time?
Continously, I assume if villains found out about the power, they would gun for Red Robin with prejudice because they know they'll get a cheat that way. They get a ticket to the past if they kill the bird. They get a redo.
Alright. Angst time!
~~
Bruce is the first one to find out about Tim's power. He's training with Tim when, as per usual, he takes it a bit too far. The man has a habit of not pulling his punches in a fucked up version of trying to push Tim away from being Robin. This time, when he punches Tim, the kid doesn't get up. It's a wonder he didn't hear the awful crack or notice Tim's neck wasn't quite right. Only not recieving an answer after berating Tim about not getting up causes Bruce to pause. He doesn't hear breathing.
Oh gods. He doesn't hear breathing. Is Tim dead? Did he kill Tim? Did he break his nec-
Bruce snaps to attention mid lecture to Robin. They are both in the cave (not on the training mats not on the mats not on the mats), and it seems the exact same as it was yesterday when he was yelling at Tim about proper batarang maintenance.
Tim, ever the observant Robin, leans forward as if to ask if Batman was okay. Bruce flinches back.
Tim's eyes widen in shock as he takes a step back. In the year or so he's worked with Bruce, he's never gotten that response to initating touch. Tim's eyes flicker down to his hand in recrimination and puzzlement.
Bruce takes a shaky breath in before dismissing Tim for the night. The child is hesitant to flee but follows the request.
Bruce doesn't know what happened and he's not sure he wants to find out.
This cues Bruce being kinder to Tim and less harsh. The detective figures out that Tim has a time traveling power upon death, but it appears as if Tim isn't aware of it (he doesn't know that Tim constantly kills himself for better results in field). Tim never finds out that Bruce's change in behavior to him was born of guilt. He never learns that his dad killed him.
~~
Next angst!
Two concepts with Jason.
One, Jason creates a fucked up timeloop with Titan's Tower where he kills Tim over and over again in fucked up ways until he satiates his desire for bloodlust. If Tim is still aware of the Tower incident, that's because Jason wanted him to be. Whether Jason becomes guilty about this timeloop he created or not could also be explored. There is a fic out there kind of similar to this concept (timeloop Titan's Tower, not the added element of Tim's powers).
Two, Bruce does end up killing Jason in the showdown with the Joker. He batarang slices Jason's neck, the building blows up, and Jason never emerges. There's a few ways to add on top of this angst. If Titan's Tower happened before this (and Tim was left beaten), that means Tim chose to kill himself to save Jason. Jason will never know. That, or Titan's Tower happens afterwards and Jason tortures Tim not knowing the teen saved him from a second death at the hands of his father (ironically Tim also doesn't know that he's been killed by Bruce).
~~
Last Angst!
Damian finds out about Tim's power and abuses it constantly. He's a kid that was raised to be an assassin and found someone he can kill that also gives him the benefit of getting away with anything. As long as the kill goes through, he's golden.
Eventually, Damian starts to slow down on this. He doesn't really want to see Drake choking on blood again.
He one day finds that he hasn't tried to kill Drake in months and he doesn't really want to try to.
Then he finds that list.
Then he cuts Drake's line.
Then he has to relive those 24 hours again knowing he killed someone he was starting to trust.
Bonus angst if Tim finds out, jokingly asks his family members how many times they have killed them, and finds out Dick is the only one who hasn't (Tim killed himself after the 16th birthday incident and he somewhat blames Alfred for that, though he'll never tell him).

I need someone to write a fic where Jason after coming back from the dead has amnesia.
He doesn't remember Bruce, Dick, Alfred, anyone.
And Talia being the fierce tiger mama she is decides that his previous life had been and endless fight for survival and just wants the best for him. So she tells him the truth that he was murdered, that he came back, that she healed him via Lazarus Pit, but convinces him that he doesn't need to remember his previous life. That it will only cause him pain. And he kinda has a gut feeling to trust her so he listens to her.
She sends him to school, cares for him. She becomes his mom.
Of course she teaches him how to fight but not to the same extent. More like an insurance that he can defend himself.
He graduates high school (early, because he's a smart bean) and goes to collage.
A med school.
Graduates at the top of his class and becomes a doctor unbelievably young.
Talia couldn't be more proud.
But there's always been something in his chest pulling him towards Gotham.
Talia relents (she never could say no to her children).
Talia explains the situation to Dr Thompkins and she totally agrees that Jason deserves a normal, peaceful life after what he's been through.
He doesn't work at her clinic (the Bats would find him) but he knows her and knows that she's there for him.
He's an amazing doctor. All his patients love him (even the most skittish kids). He's young, handsome (and packed). Soon he becomes basically like a hospital's own celebrity.
He spends most of his days at work, but when he does have time he hangs out with the street kids of Crime Alley. He feels he belongs there and Talia explains that this is where he's from. It feels so right to be there. It doesn't take long for all the kids to flock to him after he buys them food, clothing and cleans all their scrapes and cuts.
Jason lives a happy, content life even though he doesn't remember the first 15 years.
Then there's a huge funding from Bruce Wayne and Jason is the one assigned to walking Mr Wayne around the hospital and letting him personally meet some kids that were saved by his charities.
The Jason Todd Foundation to be exact.

The Psychological Analysis of Jason Todd
I am a psych major, and my professor is allowing us to make an analysis of any character of our choice, so I figured who better to write then Jason Todd. This was very fun to write and I very much enjoyed rewatching Batman: Arkham Knight. Please enjoy. ☁️ Warning(s): Trigger Warning for Trauma, Mental Health Content, Violence, Graphic Imagery, Spoiler(s)☁️ Word Count: 2.6k ☁️: Authors Note: I am working on fanfics, more headcanons for Arkham Jason, unfortunately I am busy with classes, assignments and deadlines. I will try to be punctual but it may take time. Thank you for your understanding.
Introduction
Jason Todd is the secondary villain in Batman: Arkham Knight, which has the same moniker. He is the second Robin and Bruce Wayne's adoptive son.
Jason Peter Todd was born in the slums of Gotham City to two drug-addicted parents, who would eventually try to settle a debt they had by giving Jason away when he was a baby. Jason received no parental figure to help guide him, leading him to petty crimes such as theft to nourish his survival. Jason is a character who takes what he needs if it means prolonging his survival; his lack of a parental figure leads him to an identity crisis between longing for a parental figure and convincing himself he is better off without one. When the simple truth is that every human needs a mother and a father, we respond positively to a nurturing environment, and through early adolescence, our brains crave the structure needed to build us into well-rounded adults.
At fifteen, Jason inadvertently met Batman while committing robbery when Batman was fighting Gotham's notorious supervillain, The Joker. Believing Batman is in trouble, Jason jumps between pushing the hero from harm's way. Despite life's misfortunes, Jason possesses a remarkable code of morality enough to want to save someone. Jason, attempting to rid Joker of his breath, aims a pistol at the clown and, before firing, is knocked out of his hands by Batman's batarang. Unfortunately for him, Joker would leave Jason with a cryptic message, one for the young man to head.
Jason would later be apprehended and taken into custody in the back of a police car by Batman after Batman retrieved his gun and stolen money. However, rather than being charged, Jason receives a blessing through a Wayne Industries project that helped troubled teens; through the program, Jason was able to turn his life around. All attract the man who helped Jason find a new purpose: Bruce Wayne. Months after being released, Batman appeared in Jason's dorm, again offering Jason another opportunity.
2nd Robin and Kidnapping
Taking Jason in as his ward as well as dubbing him Robin after Dick Grayson, Jason sought justice and enjoyed being a hero. Like the previous Robin, he showed a keen aptitude for it; unlike his predecessor, he possessed a fiery temper and willingness for more lethal force. While Jason's temper is directed towards the criminals that harm the innocents, Batman views this as inexcusable, fearing the day that Jason will kill instead of reprimanding.
In the most twisted sense of irony, Jason's morality inevitably becomes his downfall. The Joker has blown up a school with kindergarteners; this leads to Jason's resolve that Joker needs to die. Knowing that Bruce would try to stop him, Jason abandons his comms and tracker so he can kill Joker. However, it is a trap, and Joker ambushes Jason. Jason was kept in a wheelchair, bonded by barbed wire that kept Jason leaning hunched over in excruciating pain. Throughout his pain, Jason's mind remained still; he was confident that Batman would find him; his sheer will at the beginning of his torture is, with all honesty, remarkable as Joker has been known for his mental abuse and mind games he plays with his victims including his sidekick, Harley Quinn.
In the six months of his torture, Jason's unwavering mental resolve was slowly crippling as Joker had wanted; throughout the game, Jason's voice mixed with crippling fear and small doubts about Batman coming. The Joker feeds into his doubts by showing him a photo of Batman with his replacement, Tim Drake. This leaves Jason troubled as he slowly loses hope for Batman.
The last act of Jason's torture involved a video sent to Batman via The Joker of Jason, who has undergone all his brainwashing; in the video, Jason is sitting down in a chair; he is not chained, barbed, handcuffed, or kept sitting still in any way by all means Jason could easily walk away. This is a significant and crucial part of Jason's torture as it symbolizes just how much mental anguish and emotional exhaustion Jason went through to the point that he no longer had a yearning for freedom—making him downright timid and submissive towards Joker enough to out Batman's identity when asked by the latter. This results in Joker shooting Jason point-blank in the chest, as Joker "never could stand a tattletale." However, this was only a ploy to make Batman believe Jason is genuinely dead.
On the contrary, Jason was kept alive for another year, endeavoring more torture, mistreatment, and malnourishment. Harley Quinn did the final touches of Jason's emotional and mental brainwashing; a former psychiatrist who manipulated Jason into believing that Batman was the cause of his anguish and his pain was his doing; she did this long enough, even punishing Jason by waterboarding him and electrocuting him when he refused to say Batman, indicating he still had some level of awareness of who was torturing him.
However, once Harley could get Jason to say Batman's name, Jason was drugged and beaten by two prisoners dressed like Batman; he was given a gun by The Joker and was ordered to kill them. Jason's resolve and humanity were a cord, still entrenched in him before Harley convinced him further, snapping his humanity and getting him to shoot the two dressed-up prisoners dead.
During the riots of Arkham Asylum, The Joker paid mercenary Deathstroke to keep Jason there and shoot him if he escaped. However, Jason convinces Deathstroke that Joker will not keep his promise and that if he helps, Jason will triple whatever Joker plans to pay. Accepting the offer, Deathstroke assists Jason in escaping, stealing a helicopter, and flying to Wayne Industries. Jason steals millions of dollars from his former guardian. Ironically, crossing paths with Tim Drake, who assumes Todd to be Deathstroke's sidekick, when Jason's ankle is caught between Tim's grappling hook, Jason cuts the cord, allowing Tim to fall when suggested by Deathstroke that killing Robin would bode well for them with the Dark Knight. Jason Coldy says that if he dies in a fall like that, Batman needs to pick his sidekicks better.
Jason's psyche has been torn and scattered, leaving him a hollowed carving with a mocking J branding etched onto his face, from birth his eyes were already met with darkness, born to parents who never showed him recognition, let alone love, and through the Wayne Industries Project and his adoption by Bruce his eyes were wide, and remarkably hopeful, to be free of the weight of Gotham's misfortunes finally; those eyes that looked with gleam forced shut until he saw nothing but blackness.
Arkham Knight's Birth
Jason adopts a new persona built on the pain and suffering in the wake of his escape from Joker. He feels betrayed by the one person he only had in the world and wants vengeance. Jason works alongside Scarecrow, one of Batman's enemies. The two begin a plan on Halloween to take Gotham and Batman's legacy along with it. Jason gathers all Batman's enemies to join, assembling a militia with Deathstroke. While working with each other, Scarecrow "tests" his fear toxin on the young man, sending him on a psychological spiral. One of his more apparent fears is the Joker, who can be found near, in the background, or standing right in front of him laughing and mocking him, but beyond the clown prince of crime's appearance, Jason also sees his replacement, Tim Drake, and "fights" him.
The fight has Jason severely outnumbered in the beginning, with Tim succeeding, even using his staff to choke Jason, forcing him to the ground as the Jokers around him laugh. Further into the fear toxin, Jason appears in front of Wayne Manor, where he throws down his helmet and says the following: "Someplace warm, someplace safe, someplace where I'm needed, someplace where I'm loved," Joker once again appears in front of him laughing and mocking him on whether he even deserves it, this is Jason's internal struggle in a manifested form of the person who caused him harm, of the person who convinced him from the start that he was alone and would not be saved. Jason is mischaracterized as always being angry or standoffish, but anger has more truth than any lie detector can scoop. Jason feels this anger is not just because of some personality trait; anger is his cry out, and he's shouting to be seen and loved. This is most likely due to being tortured at 15 or so, which, despite the fact that at the time of Arkham Knight, he was in his early 20s, his mental age was regressed to the age when he was captured. This makes Jason appear at first glance as someone emotional, cocky, and arrogant. He values safety and love; he doesn't want to be on his guard 24/7, but he's grown up in an environment where letting your guard down gets you killed. He follows Joker into Wayne Manor, where he sees Bruce; suddenly, several versions of Batman appear in the room. They beat him and told him they never wanted a partner or even a son. This is a conflict that has always waged war in Jason's mind. Jason's biological father attempted to give him up and then belittled him when he explained that Jason's worth was so low that he couldn't even leave him; he has low self-esteem that he internalizes into rage in the way that he fights to prove his strength.
This is why Jason has a strong attachment to Bruce/Batman it maybe due to an underlying desire to seek his approval especially by the time when he adopts him. Bruce gives him everything he could ask for and anything he could think of, and Batman gives him a purpose. Ironically, this is still the case despite Bruce himself having an avoidant attachment style.
Conclusion and Diagnosis
Jason Todd's character in "Batman: Arkham Knight" exhibits a complex interplay of psychological factors that align with the diagnostic criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). One prominent feature of BPD is emotional dysregulation, characterized by intense and rapidly shifting emotions. Jason displays various emotions throughout the game, from anger and hostility to vulnerability and despair. His reactions often appear exaggerated or disproportionate to the situation, indicating difficulty regulating his emotional responses.
Furthermore, Jason's sense of identity is notably unstable, which is another hallmark feature of BPD. Having grown up in a dysfunctional environment with absent parents, Jason lacks a stable sense of self and struggles to define his identity. This is evident in his adoption of various personas, including Robin, the Arkham Knight, and, later, the Red Hood. His shifting identities reflect a profound inner conflict and a desperate search for validation and purpose. Jason's interpersonal relationships also reflect the interpersonal instability characteristic of BPD. He forms intense and unstable attachments to figures such as Batman, vacillating between admiration and resentment. His interactions with other characters are marked by rapid shifts in perception, alternating between idealization and devaluation. For example, while Jason initially idolizes Batman as a mentor and father figure, his feelings of betrayal and abandonment lead to resentment and hostility towards him.
Moreover, Jason exhibits self-destructive behaviors as a coping mechanism for his emotional pain, another hallmark of BPD. He engages in reckless actions, disregarding his safety to seek vengeance against those he perceives as enemies. His confrontations with adversaries are often fueled by a desire for self-assertion and control, masking more profound feelings of emptiness and despair.
Underlying Jason's behaviors is a pervasive fear of abandonment, stemming from his traumatic upbringing and experiences of betrayal. This fear drives his desperate attempts to maintain connections with others, even as he pushes them away with his volatile and unpredictable behavior. Jason's fear of abandonment manifests in his interactions with Batman and the Bat family, where he oscillates between seeking their approval and rejecting their authority.
Jason Todd's character in "Batman: Arkham Knight" embodies many of the core features of Borderline Personality Disorder, including emotional dysregulation, identity disturbance, interpersonal instability, self-destructive behaviors, and a fear of abandonment. By analyzing his actions, relationships, and psychological struggles within the context of the game's narrative, it becomes apparent that Jason's character aligns closely with the diagnostic criteria for BPD, providing a compelling framework for understanding his complex and multifaceted personality.
Besides indicating various symptoms of BPD, I would also consider diagnosing Jason with Complex Post post-traumatic stress Disorder (C-PTSD). Given Jason's background of severe trauma, including childhood abuse, neglect, and prolonged torture at the hands of the Joker, it's worth considering Complex PTSD. C-PTSD typically develops in response to chronic trauma and is characterized by symptoms such as emotional dysregulation, disturbed self-concept, difficulties in relationships, and a persistent sense of threat. I would include diagnosing Jason with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD): Jason's experiences of profound loss, trauma, and betrayal may contribute to symptoms of depression, such as feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, and a loss of interest in activities. His struggles with emotional regulation and chronic feelings of emptiness could also align with depressive symptoms. Following my diagnosis, I am also inclined to believe he suffers from attachment disorders; given Jason's tumultuous upbringing and experiences and a multitude of parental figures involving neglect and abandonment, it's possible that he may have developed attachment-related difficulties. This could manifest in insecure attachment styles, fear of abandonment, and challenges in forming and maintaining healthy relationships.
Furthermore, I would consider Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD): While Jason displays empathy and compassion at times, his willingness to engage in morally questionable or violent behavior, as well as his disregard for societal norms and rules, may align with some features of ASPD. However, his capacity for genuine care and loyalty makes this disorder out of sorts with his character.
Lastly, Post-Traumatic Embitterment Disorder (PTED): PTED is a proposed diagnostic category characterized by intense feelings of injustice, betrayal, and embitterment following a traumatic event or series of events. Jason's experiences of betrayal and abandonment, particularly by Batman and the Joker, may resonate with the symptoms of PTED.
In conclusion, the character of Jason Todd in "Batman: Arkham Knight" presents a compelling portrayal of psychological complexity shaped by a tumultuous history of trauma, betrayal, and profound loss. Through a comprehensive analysis of his experiences and behaviors throughout the game, it becomes evident that Jason embodies many psychological struggles, warranting consideration for various diagnostic possibilities. Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) emerges as a primary candidate, given Jason's emotional volatility, identity disturbances, and interpersonal difficulties. His tumultuous relationships, intense fear of abandonment, and self-destructive tendencies align closely with the diagnostic criteria for BPD. Furthermore, Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) offers another lens through which to understand Jason's psychological profile, considering his history of chronic trauma and its pervasive impact on his functioning.
Additionally, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) may contribute to Jason's experiences of profound despair, hopelessness, and emotional emptiness. His struggles with attachment-related difficulties suggest the possibility of underlying attachment disorders stemming from his early experiences of neglect and abandonment.
While Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) and Post-Traumatic Embitterment Disorder (PTED) offer alternative perspectives, they may not fully capture the complexity of Jason's character, given his capacity for empathy and genuine care, despite his propensity for morally questionable behavior.
In essence, Jason Todd's character in "Batman: Arkham Knight" is a poignant exploration of the human psyche's intricacies, illustrating the profound impact of trauma on identity, relationships, and emotional well-being. By delving into his psychological struggles within the context of the game's narrative, we gain valuable insights into the complexities of mental health and the enduring resilience of the human spirit.

Danny, on the run from the GIW decides to take shelter in Gotham because if the GIW have any sense they'd never set foot in there.
Even if Batman and the JL agree with thier opinion on ecto entities (as evidenced by their lack of speaking out against the anti-ecto acts) Batman was notoriously territorial and would have issue with a wildly incompetent government organization throwing missiles around his city all willy-nilly.
With that being said it was probably best for Danny to wear a disguise. Sure, they didn't know Fenton and Phantom were the same person yet but Danny Fenton suddenly turning up in Gotham after going missing in Amity is certainly going to raise some eyebrows regardless of the necklace he had that jammed his ecto-signature and made him untrackable.
Danny started off by going blond. Its something he's always wanted to do and now with ghostly shape-shifting powers he doesn't even have to worry about frying his hair or dying his eyebrows to match. After that all he needed to do was part his hair down the middle, add a lip ring or two and maybe a bit of make up.
Danny stared at himself in the mirror. He looked like a completely different person.
A completely different and very attractive person. He looked good. The newly blond man threw on a green jacket and went out to explore the town. He did not expect to literally bump into the Tim Drake. The Wayne adoptee just stood there mouth opening and closing comically. Did he offend him? Crap. He had promised Jazz he would stay off of the radar of the Waynes and the bats specifically and here he was angering one of them.
Danny decided to book it before it became a scene, ignoring the lovestruck Tim's crys for him to wait.
Back at his apartment Danny quickly changed his look to red hair tied back into a two inch low ponytail, green eyes and freckles that unbeknownst to anyone else was made up from the lesser known constellations.
The coffee at this Cafe smelled amazing! Too bad Danny wouldn't get to try it because the next this he knew freaking Red Hood was behind him asking to talk. Our favorite ghost boy wouldn't be embarrassed to admit he let out a small squeek before bolting out the door yelling, "I'm not even a criminal!"
It took Jason a few seconds to process that the guy he had tried to flirt with ran away in terror. Crap.
Day three and four were blissfully Wayne and bat free, though he did find out that Tim Drake and Red Hood were looking for his two false identities. Joy.
Day five he met the stabby Robin who very valiantly beat up two people who had been following him. Danny didn't even notice he was being followed and thanked the bird for saving him. Danny, who was shape-shifted into a very pretty girl at the moment, offered to buy him something to eat as a thank you. "Danielle" insisted and Robin allowed it. Danielle never noticed the slight pink on Damians cheeks as they went over to one of Damians favorite restaurants.
Day seven he had went out as blondie and got confronted by some girl named Barbara. She was nice and managed to convince him to come to a Cafe with her. He told her his name was David and he ran away from his parents with the help of one of his friends family members and that he was Jewish, which was true...except for the David part. He learned that if you wanna keep your story straight keeping to almost truths was your best bet. She in turn told him about Tim and how he's a friend of hers-uh oh- and that he's been looking all over for him.
Danny-David- tells her he's sorry but he didn't mean to offend Tim and doesn't want any trouble before laying down enough money to cover his half of the bill and the tip and booking it out of there
This repeats with most of the family trying to flirt with him or adopt him into the family when he's out as Danny.
Bruce Wayne approached Danny when he was waiting to board an elevator, "Hel-" was all the billionaire could get out before Danny cut him off "Hell no." And then he just got in the elevator and pressed the close doors button and was gone again.

Tim Drake and Jason Todd are both halfas. They just don't know it for a while.
HI BONES I JUST WOKE UP FROM THIS DREAM AND HAD TO SHARE.
There's something recogonized between them, when Robin meets Red Hood in Titan's Tower. But it's a mystery to both of them what - especially Jason. There's no reason for the new Robin to reek of the Dead - not like him.
The truth comes out a few years later, in hushed whispers of a desperate Tim Drake - something is happening that reminds him of something terrible: after the first week of truly being in the Robin suit, he has a gap in his memory of weeks. Okay a couple months, accurately.
He's hidden this well - the gap is after he'd taken a fairly serious injury, something that nevertheless had a relatively low recovery time. So Batman and Nightwing never noticed that it caused him to, technically, die. And like hell Tim would tell them that, especially then.
The thing is that few missing months.
Tim has put together what happened in those months; he'd always kept copious notes for himself. And Bruce and Dick shouldn't be bothered if he has a bit of amnesia.
After he "died" he was Robin - notes on his computer tell him what he did, notes in the Batcomputer fill him in on the cases. But the notes never refer to himself as Tim. And the tone and methods for what he did - well, they're like Tim's. Tim can follow all the logic in them. They just seem... off somehow.
But there's no memory left to him, between that moment when his heart stopped in the Robin suit to a moment, months later, of waking up in the Medbay after Dick rescued him from the Drake household - targeted by a magic user with questionable morals who claims he was dead and wrong.
So he was checked out by Constantine or Zatanna or someone and they confirmed that no, that's not the case and that's definitely Tim in the body.
Once they get there.
The thing is, the more Tim looked into it, the less he thinks that rogue magician was actually mistaken. He's a little faster now, a little stronger. Sometimes it's like he's invisible, or hanging just a little too long in the air on the grapple - but in the next moment, that's gone, and he's just Tim again. Human Tim.
So a couple years later when Jason shows up, and there's that Recognition - Dead to Dead - that he gets from no one else... the memories start filtering in. Now Tim has the memories of being - well - a ghost, in the Ghost Zone, desperately searching for a way back, a way home, filtering in.
Now for a couple years after that beatdown in Titan's Tower - a beatdown that should have left him truly dead, or healing for months longer - but his recovery time has always been faster since those missing months, especially in the minutes and hours right after the injuries, where they're easier to hide a bit. Now there's a threat to all the ghosts in Gotham, and Jason and Tim wind up in deep.
Hunted by the Guys in White.
And Jason is angry because maybe he's a weird undead reanimation of a corpse, but Tim sure isn't and these bastards aren't touching his little brother. And Tim is all like "So there's this thing that happened." and he's (falsely) convinced that if Jason just left him Jason would be okay and the GIW would stop hunting them.
And Jason is gobsmacked - and smacked with memories. Memories he didn't... really have before, not through the Lazarus haze. Not really. Memories of being Tim.
And then the Dates slot together in his head and oh shit oh shit oh shit.
The day Tim died and something possessed him? Was the day Jason crawled out of his grave and was found, catatonic, on the streets.
And the day Tim regained control of his body.
Was the day Jason was shoved into the Lazarus Pit.
Fuck. He hurt his baby brother more than he ever realized. Fuck.
(They eventually figure out, maybe with a bit of help after they rescue some more experienced ghosts from the assholes in white, that Tim... really would have died fully that day, had Jason's ghost not possessed his body, bringing it back to life, heart beating and lungs breathing. And he kept it breathing until Tim was called back to it. And the effort Jason put into that - breathing and beating and keeping that living spark alive - was the jump Jason's own body needed to truly wake up from his grave.)
Yeah so anyway they both say to the GIW: no you don't not MY fucking BROTHER you don't. And so do all the other Bats.
And the GIW is fucked.

You knew the danger of keeping secrets in a pandora's box. Soon someone fearless would open it, soon the evil that had been kept there would find the light of day and you could only wait for that day to come fearing the destruction knowing you were too powerless to stop it and the day came.
You knew that Jason was investing with Bruce who revived him, they obviously knew it was Talia Al Ghul's doing, but there was something else, he knew. The date that Jason had been brought back was not an unassuming date, close to his birthday, as something of a thought, at first he associated it with affecting Bruce, bringing his son back close to the date he was born, but the boy soon dismissed that, he had spent years after his resurrection without contact with Batman, setting up his return and that theory lost its meaning.
Jason then decided to question Talia, a quick phone call in which he asked who had ordered his return, at the time he wasn't sure if anyone had, but it seemed like an alternative and a good way to start the conversation, a hunch that might give him his answer, but Talia was vague saying only that she wouldn't tell Jason who it was because of a promise. Jason found it frustrating, but at least now he was sure that his return to life had been ordered by someone.
Now he wondered how he had never suspected, was he so blinded by his revenge that he couldn't see the obvious? You were always there, you were the one who grabbed Jason's body as he tried to get out of the waters of the Lazarus Pit, you were the one he grabbed that day fighting back all the tears and violent memories, but for Jason you were there as a hostage, as the artifice the League would use if he refused to fight Batman and now in hindsight that thought seemed stupid, naive.
"I loved you, Jason," you didn't say it in defense of his accusations, you knew he would never forgive you for it, but that was the truth, you had done it because you loved him. Your voice was firm, you wanted Jason to be sure of your words, but even so your eyes were clouded with unreleased tears, because it was painful to explain why you had done it to Jason.
"You gave me hell," he said with disbelief, but also loathing. That wasn't how Jason saw his resurrection at first, he saw it as a second chance, a chance to try again, to take revenge on those who betrayed him in life, but after finding out it was you, you chose to dig him up and force him to live a life watered in hatred intensified by the Lazarus Pit and you hid it from him, that was a second betrayal far greater than Bruce letting Joker live after his death.
"No, no... no..." each no was said in a whisper, as if it were unbelievable to think the opposite. "I saved you" Your voice became louder, filled with certainty and arrogance. "You know that, you had everything. You called it a new beginning, a new chance." You were accusing Jason, using his words against him, trying to convince him of your reason, but only one line of yours stuck in his mind. Did you believe that he had everything? Half of the boy he was had stayed there, there was no Lazarus Pit capable of living that part of him.
"It was not your choice" Jason cried, he couldn't even remember the last time tears had rolled openly from his eyes after the Lazarus Pit, of course, he had cried as he struggled in those waters, as memories of his death flashed through his mind, but this was the first time he had allowed himself to cry, That those tears didn't come out after much reluctance, he actually let them roll down, too incapable even for that, too incapable to maintain the façade that what he felt was just hatred not a sadness of overwhelming magnetism, but that was it, he knew it was just that and those tears didn't lie. They weren't abundant tears, but even those small tears made it clear what it was all about, Jason's decline.
You didn't accept Jason's answer, shaking your head in denial "And who would, Jason?... you? Because I remember you're dead, I remember you didn't even have the chance to fight for your life in that warehouse..." your tears came out, your mouth trembled as you spoke, but anger was never far away, the feeling of sadness and anger mixed, boiling cruel words. "So I did it, I fought for you, I fought for you to have a second chance…"
"...a tiny chance of being something, of not having died in a warehouse with a title that was taken from you in 3 months" Jason didn't try to answer you, to fight your poison, you wouldn't listen to him. You would never understand being dug up with the sole purpose being revenge against those you loved, you wouldn't understand the weight of the choice you made for Jason, condemning him to a life now drenched in remorse and regret.
"I did it because I loved you, Jason, like no person has ever done before, like Bruce never did. I couldn't live knowing that was the end of you and nothing you could say would change my choice, because I love you, Jason and you know it. No matter how much you hate me after that, you know that I only did it because I loved you," you said after the man's silence, you struggled, even though you weren't sure he would listen. You don't think Jason would understand, knowing that the person he loved the most had been killed in a cruel way, meeting his end prematurely, he would never understand how heavy a burden it was to make that choice, to be condemned to a short span of a life with Jason that would soon end when he found out about your choice.
There were words choking in your throat, words that would have sounded like "I'm sorry, Jason, I'm sorry for all the hell you went through after you came back, I'm sorry for all the pain I couldn't take away from you", but they would have stayed there, you wouldn't have given Jason the chance to think that at some point you regretted what you had done, that you would do things differently if you had the chance, because although you were sorry for all the pain Jason had experienced, you would never have let that be the end of him, you just wished there was a way to take that pain away from him, but there wasn't and if Jason had to live with it in order to live, then so be it.
That discussion had come to an end, you couldn't say anything more, you couldn't ask Jason to let you stay, for him to understand your side, you couldn't ask him for gratitude, you couldn't ask him for anything, you knew that. You had to leave, he didn't want you there, this wasn't one of the nights when you drove Jason's demons away, not when you were one of them, you could only leave, leave him alone and you did. Without another word, you left, there was no hope of him asking you to stay, it was the end.
Jason seemed surrounded by a tornado, blinded by his thoughts, there was nothing else around him. Jason wasn't sure, but he thought he would rather have died in that warehouse forever and ever along with all the happy memories, with his moments of gratitude and admiration for Bruce, with his time honored as Robin, with his sweet love for you, but now it was all tainted, Bruce had been the one who betrayed him, Robin had been the one who caused his death and you were the one who now buried the last remnant of the old Jason, you were the final point the proof that that Jason should have died completely and now he did.

"You're fucking with us", Charles stated, mouth agape as he stared at Peter in disbelief and awe, not knowing whether to laugh or cry at his friend's confession.
Wincing at everyone's eyes on him, Peter dropped his head into his hands as he contemplated why he was friends with such manipulative idiots. Groaning softly as he combed through his hair with a sweaty palm, the other reached for his phone which lay nearby.
He had been guilt tripped into hosting their weekly AcaDec study sessions at his apartment this weekend due the team's insistence that he no longer cared for them. His insulting amount of absences racked up because of spidey duties, not that he could tell them of his extremely valid excuse.
That's how he found himself crowded together into a messy circle on the carpet in his living room which May swore would come back in trend according to her home decor magazines. His teammates, doing everything but studying as they indulge themselves in the latest gossip and an impromptu game of truth or dare.
With Flash's question targeting either his secret webslinger-identity or his relationship status, Peter's choice between his limited options had been obvious, announcing to his friends of the girlfriend he'd been keeping tucked away for several months.
Now, however, with the way they were gaping at him, Peter re-evaluated whether he had truly made the correct decision.
Flash, who'd finally been able to catch his breath, with dried up tears of laughter streaking across his cheeks, wheezed, "You. Penis Parker. Are dating the most influential teenager in North America according to TIME Magazine, with an IQ to rival her father's, model and heir to Stark Industries, Y/N Stark?"
Peter once again winced, internally debating whether or not he should give you a call as he responded, "Y-yes?"
"Peter. You're kidding.", Betty whispered, wide-eyed at the thought of her friend keeping such an insanely large secret from them...if it was the truth. Just the interviewing opportunities made her head spin and the journalist inside of her was- holy shit. Their Peter Parker was dating Y/N Stark?! That was insane. Practically impossible?
“Oh yeah? Ok. Then how’d you meet her, hotshot?”, Flash smirked cockily, as if he had just checkmated him, convinced his question was going to force Peter to confess the truth about his “lie.”
Before Peter could even exhale his sigh of exhaustion, Jason interrupted, “Dude, not that I don’t believe you or anything and no offense but…how did you bag her?”
Cindy who had been watching the entire debacle from the sidelines so far simply nodded her head, wide-eyed and a bit confused on how this could possibly be her reality.
Sally, insulted on Peter’s behalf, pitched up, “Hey! Pete’s a catch.”
Offering a weak smile to the girl, Peter had just muttered, “Thank you, Sals”, as the echo of the doorbell made its way into the living room. Saved by the bell, indeed.
Dusting himself as he made his way towards the entrance, he could hear Ned defending his honor as Peter fiddled with lock, face freezing in shock when the entryway fully came into view.
Before him, you stood in his stolen Midtown High hoodie, hands sweetly clasped over your comfy stark industries pajama pants as you smiled up at him. The hood had been pulled over your messy hair in your attempts to avoid unwanted attention from the press, the drawstrings tied into a little makeshift bow and strands of stray hair sticking out from the circumference of the fabric surrounding your face. You looked absolutely adorable and silly and perfect to Peter’s fogged mind. Mind stuttering on how to decode this situation as he attempted to make some form of noise to greet you, he couldn’t think straight.
Swaying on the balls of your feet and tilting your head warmly, you leaned forward to place a greeting peck onto his lips, hands unclasping and encircling his waist as you patiently took in his frozen state, “You gonna let me in or do you have a secret exhibitionist kink you’ve been keeping locked up which we need to discuss? Cause y’know- I’m up for anything but the paparazzi will have a field day once they figure out how much of a slut I am for my father’s intern-”
The pin-drop silence from his living room startled Peter into moving, covering your mouth with his palm as he choked a little at what you had just unwillingly said in front of all his friends, words finally processing into his distress blurred brain. He knew that he just told the team about you but he didn’t think of introducing you to them for at least a few more weeks down the road. Once they’d calmed down, gotten over their fangirling and actually believed him. Fuck.
You’d immediately picked up on your boyfriend’s anxious stance but much like your father, your solution to most situations revolved around teasing and humor, your words now muffled as you went on, “Like- could you imagine the headlines? Y/N STARK IS SLEEPING WITH HER FATHER’S INTERN?!? Y/N STARK’S WORLDWIND OFFICE ROMANCE: SEDUCTION THROUGH SCIENCE! Ooh- wait no, I quite like the second one-”
“What are you doing here?”
You frowned at Peter. That was the first thing he was going to say to you? Bringing his hand down and pressing a kiss to his knuckles, you questioned more seriously, “Is everything alright? MJ invited me over? Said that you guys and Ned were just hanging out if I wanted to join. I’m sorry, I should’ve asked first. I just assumed that-”
“Nononono no don’t apologize, stop. MJ’s just a little shit. She didn’t tell me she’d invited you over so I was…surprised.”, Peter’s voice dropped into a whisper, “It’s also not just…us and Ned. The rest of the friend group is in the living room right now and they just found out that I was dating you but they didn’t really believe me but now…well.”
You blinked, “Oh. Oh. So they heard me-”
Peter nodded. Your face flushed as you winced and buried your face in between Peter’s pecs, him failing to hide his smile as he stifled a laugh at your embarrassment.
Now that the terror of the situation had faded away, he couldn’t help but find endless amusement in it. Though the interaction between you and the AcaDec group was much faster than he’d initially wanted, it was still something that he’d hoped for deeply. These two parts of his life finally merging filled him with so much joy, simply even imagining you getting along with his friend causing his cheeks to ache from the smile that would bloom.
Letting you whine for a few more seconds, he gently dragged you into the apartment, kicking the door shut with his foot as he pulled down your hood. Untying the drawstrings to let them fall freely, he then proceeded to fluff out your hair, observing closely as your face melted in pleasure just like he predicted.
Pressing a kiss, he whispered, “Come on, you’ve got to meet them now. That was quite the introduction.”
Gently peeking your head past the curve of the hallway which kept you hidden from their view, you were first met with MJ’s smirk. Pointing a finger at her as Peter came up behind you, you flipped her off before addressing everyone else with a small wave, “Hi, Peter’s AcaDec group!”
The PR voice you’d automatically slipped into couldn’t be helped but you knew that it would take you a few more interactions for the real you to make an appearance. Maybe a few NDAs as well just as a precaution.
The few stunned moments of continued silence before it burst into squeals of shock and unfiltered questions made you laugh a little as you gently approached the circle and plopped yourself next to Ned, Peter taking a seat next to you as the group continued to hyperventilate.
“Am I dreaming?”, whispered Charles to himself, his idol sitting merely a few feet away from him. Jason and Betty let out their own garbled hums of acknowledgement to their friend’s identical shock. This was every nerd’s dream. Y/N Stark was an inspiration in the technological advancements field, everything she’d contributed to the innovation of Stark Industries was just- insanity. Charles was going insane. He had to be.
Flash, deciding that this was the perfect time to shoot his shot with Peter’s girlfriend, smugly leaned forward and asked, “Hey baby, wanna grab a drink sometime in my Ferrari? I’m sure you’re sick of that dweeb by now.”
You blinked. Wrinkling your nose at him, you hummed, “...Flash, right?”
His confident nod made you continue, “I’ve uh- heard a lot about you-”
“All good things, I’m sure.”
“No, actually! A lot of it was how you bullied the love of my life for several years.”, you smiled, the smirk falling off his face extremely satisfying, “I don’t know about all your previous partners or if you even ever had any but I really don’t think showing off your wealth is the smartest move to my heart seeing where I come from. I like to think that I’m grounded and quite humble so I hate pulling out that card but I think it’s necessary to put you in your place. Also- did you say I was sick of him? Peter Parker? He’s one of the most genuinely caring and interesting people I’ve met in a long time…I’m sorry but like did you just choose to ignore how I said I was a slut for him 2 minutes ago? I-”
Ned’s giggles of happiness broke you out of your tangent as he leaned over to give you a hug, “God, I missed you so much. Peter’s been keeping you from us for too long. I just think he’s jealous of our intense chemistry.”
“Oh no, for sure.”, you nodded as you tilted your head to watch your boyfriend roll his eyes and attempt to hide his smile.
“We are…so sorry for him, oh my god.”, Cindy exhaled breathily, “You’re just- wow. You’re so brilliant and gorgeous and the interview where you explained your thinking for the future of SI’s place in the medical field was amazing to watch. I am such a big fan.”
You smiled warmly, “Apology accepted, haha. And you’re gorgeous too! Holy shit, if Peter wasn’t here-”
Peter jokingly whacked the back of your head, “Stop flirting with all my friends.”
You let out a small laugh as you raised your hands up in defeat, “Sorry, my dad’s genes, you know? No, but seriously, thank you! I’m sure you’re incredibly smart too if everything I’ve heard is true and your involvement in Academic Decathlon really speaks for itself.”
Cindy practically melted into a pile of goop next to the sofa as Flash opened his mouth again, “Are you sure-”
Rubbing your fingers into your temples, you sighed jokingly as the rest of the group turned to start yelling at him, making you burst into a grin as Peter and Ned erupted into their own little fit of laughter.
Maybe one interaction was enough for you to feel content with them. They’d certainly need at least three to get over their celebrity infatuation but…you settled into the nook of Peter’s shoulder, you could see yourself with this group laughing nights away for several more years to come.
And plus, Flash would provide the perfect entertainment if things ever got a little too boring. Though you doubt that that would be the case with all the banter and teasing you’d be witnessing in the next several hours.

Jason openly grooming Tim, fucking him around the manor. Jason never died, tim joined the family slightly earlier, and Jason is just open about how he’s using him… and Bruce is helpless, he’s weak when it comes to Jason, and it doesn’t help how hot he finds it all. Just the mix of guilt over how he’s allowing this to happen and also how hot it is
cw//underage, grooming
!!!!!!! jason being allowed to do whatever he wants since his injuries from the joker left him permanently benched and so this means when he starts fucking tim, bruce's latest adopted child, bruce is VERY reluctant to do anything about it. because he doesn't want to hurt jason and he doesn't want him to get in trouble because tim and jason are somewhat close in age but they're at two completely different developmental stages with jason already experiencing the worst of puberty while tim is only barely starting to enter it. tim is still so young and naive and bruce knows that jason is blatantly lying to tim so that he can manipulate him. telling tim that jason pressing his cock into his little hole is a 'game' to be played just between them when its really just getting his rocks off and using tim as a replacement for his hand.
but bruce doesn't step in. doesn't stop it. he just gets tim onto birth control so that at least jason won't get the young boy pregnant and bruce doesn't even do THAT as something to look out for tim. he does it because if tim gets pregnant his school will have questions about the father and all bruce can think about is protecting jason from any consequences of his perversion.
bruce tries to paint himself as a loving father, as a father that desperately wants to protect and defend the child he nearly lost....but the truth was...bruce protected jason for selfish reasons.
every night when jason went into tim's room, or pulled him into the library, or climbed on top of him in the den and convinced him to slide his panties off, bruce would be treated to the sounds of tim's gasps and sweet whines as jason roughly fucked him, the wet slaps of jason's front meeting the back of tim's thighs so loud and audible that bruce could hear it. he'd listen to the sounds, hand drifting down to his cock and desire swirling in his gut as jason fucked the sweet little nymphette bruce had brought into their home.

“The Next Life” by SPQR is also a really good ‘Tim learns necromancy to resurrect Jason but no one realizes it right away’ fic! Once the truth is revealed the emphasis is more on Dick and Bruce’s reactions to it with only a little from Jason if I remember right, but it’s one of my favorites, and it has the bonus of bullying Constantine with Tim’s existence.
YES! This was one of the ones I wanted to find for the other post. I fucking love this fic so much.
Constantine and Tim are one of my favorite dynamics. There are not enough fics in the world with Tim being an unhinged gremlin that Constantine is forced to interact with. His absolute exasperation with life paired with Tim's disregard for his own life is a fantastic combo. The gruffness as Constantine tries to convince himself he doesn't care about the kid who's gets into all sorts of trouble and Tim latching onto a positive adult figure in his life that isn't trying to parent him. Chaotic found family vibes that I live for.
Thank you for reminding me about this fic

Weekly Fic Recs 56
Another week, another list! I also had another ask, but this time for sad Superbat.
Sad Superbat fic rec list
I normally don't do sad because I a simple woman who loves them some happy endings, but there were a few I recced. Check them out if you're interested!
But now, on to the rest of the list!
left behind by TheResurrectionist - Superbat, complete. Luthor wants an audience with the Justice League, but has to go through Bruce Wayne to do so. For some reason, Bruce's boyfriend, Clark Kent is there during this process. So much shenanigans and inside jokes ensue.
Werewolves Do Not Make Good Empty Nesters by dragonpyre - Batfam, wip. Werewolf, and Tim and Jason join the family early AU! Dick moved out and Bruce is experiencing empty nest syndrome :( Luckily, he found these two abandoned pups to make his nest less empty :)
Lessons Learned by justforthefanfiction - Cloisbat (is that a ship name?), wip. Batman brakes into the Kent's house to talk to Lois about a case. He catches them in a compromising position. Sexy times ensuee
A kindred bond by Nyszu - Superbat, wip. An update to the fic where Bruce gets kidnapped by evil!Supes, but is rescued by his Superman! A breakout at Arkham occurs, and Bruce goes to deal with it.
Get Low by leakypaintpen - Superbat, complete. Bruce spars with Clark after he returns from Warworld and has an "oh no he's hot AND competent" moment.
mission parameters by shipyrds - Superbat, complete. A reread for me! Bruce and Clark have to fake being married for a mission :)
tell all the truth (but tell it slant) by susiecarter - Superbat, complete. Another reread for me! Bruce and Clark start a fake relationship to explain why they are together all the time and to get the media off their back. Feelings and a lack of communication results in much shenanigans :) :) :) :)
Patchwork Pod by Ktkat9 - Superbat and Batfam, wip. More of the mer Bruce fic! Tim has gotten himself in quite the situation!
One day, fate knocked on the door by Speechless_since_1998 - Batfam, complete. Little Timmy travels to Bludhaven to convince Dick to be Robin again. He has a power point and everything! Dick has other concerns, like how this small child traveled to Bludhaven to give a presentation on why he should be Robin again. And why this small child knows he used to be Robin. Shenanigans ensue.
is it my fault? (we've been missing each other) by quidhitch - Batfam, complete. Bruce and Jason bonding times, before and after Jason's death.
The Only by pasdecoeur - Superbat, complete. Someone asked for sad Superbat fic recs, and this one one of the fics I had on the list. The tag the author has is correct, Superbat is fundamentally a tragedy.
Exit Strategy by smilebackwards - Batfam, complete. Tim prepares to leave the Batfam, because the obviously don't need him around anymore (obviously). Unfortunately for him, the rest of the family has a problem with this. Also featuring: bonding time with Damian.
DAMIAN WAYNE GOES TO THERAPY series by orpheusaki - Batfam, stories complete, but series is not. What the title says, Damian goes to therapy. Each story is him bonding with a member of the family, one story about him and Tim, and the other about him and Jason.
Happy Reading!
