Tips for hair growth

Massage your scalp for 5 minutes a day. This increases the blood flow in the scalp. Your hair follicles derive their nourishment from the blood which delivers oxygen and hair-building nutrients, so the more blood circulation their is, the more nutrients the hair gets, which leads to hair growth👌👌👌.

Regularly oil your hair. Sebum is a natural oil that is produced from the sebaceous glands in our scalp that helps maintain our hair health. Sebum is meant to help by moisturising and lubricating hair as a natural conditioner. But when it’s not produced in balanced amounts, hair feels extra greasy or super dry and flaky. This is where hair oiling can be helpful. A quality hair oil will mimic the effects that natural sebum provides. Because we all produce sebum, hair oiling works for all hair types. When you coat the strands, it seals in the moisture instead of having it evaporate. This properly nourishes the hair deep within the strands and scalp.

Consistently eat pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seed extract is a gentle yet effective ingredient that has been scientifically proven to block the 5-alpha reductase enzyme that produces DHT, a byproduct of testosterone that causes hair loss.

Don't wash your hair with hot water. Hot water in the shower can contribute to over-stripping the scalp and hair of natural oils, which can make hair feel brittle and scalp dry.

Remember that you won't see hair growth results immediately, it takes a few months to a year, just remember that consistency is the key!

Thinking about Eddie always having trouble with his hair in the morning and every time he washes it he always miss a spot when blow drying it, so he would always come to school with his curls still dripping and making a mess on his clothes. Now that him and Steve are dating he doesn’t have that problem anymore. Steve is up every morning just to help Eddie brush and blow dry his hair especially if it’s a few strands that Eddie tend to miss sometimes. After Eddie’s hair is taken care of he’s always happy about the result and Steve is just admiring the fluffiness of his boyfriends beautiful hair.

We don't have much in Pelican Town so I mostly wash my hair (with shampoo and conditioner) and tie it up before I have to go to the library. I'm quite a deep sleeper so I don't have that much time beforehand.

my haircare routine

☆ pre-shampoo oil mask on my scalp (rosemary, hemp and coffee oil)

☆ double shampoo (redken abc shampoo) - one a week i’ll use purple shampoo as my second shampoo

☆ condition - leave on for 3-5 minutes (redken abc conditioner)

☆ leave in conditioner (redken 25 benefit leave in)

☆ hair oil on my ends (ogx coconut oil)

☆ heat protector

☆ blow dry (revlon one step blow out)

☆ extras: i oil my ends everyday, i try to sleep with my hair in a loose bun and i don’t wash everyday :) i also use a scalp massager with my shampoo

Hi guys,

I don't know if it's because I've been really ill lately or my hair just needs some extra loving this month but something needed changing in my routine. I go through phases where my hair is just a little flat and gets greasy really easily so I decided to look online and after lot's of friends recommendations I think I finally found my answer. Today we are chatting about the iconic OLAPLEX N°4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo 250ml, £28.00.

Now I already know there is going to be a big group of I told you so people out there and trust me I know I'm late to the game on this but we finally made it. Anytime you see people blog about hair products a lot of the time they will mention OLAPLEX because it is a viral hair company that a lot of stylists will recommend for people with damaged hair. I didn't necessarily need the bond strengthening range because my issue was more about build up. Instead of the original range I decided to use their Clarifying Shampoo.

If you don't know the difference, unlike other shampoos a clarifying formula focuses on removing any oil, dirt or build up from your hair and then afterwards you would deep condition your hair as this can be drying. A clarifying shampoo is recommended once a week and originally I thought this product was a lot of hype but I was pleasantly surprised! Using this shampoo made me realise how clean and fresh your hair should feel after you wash it. My hair felt so salon fresh like I just paid a lot of money for a wash and blow dry and yet I did it all myself. I've been using this shampoo for over a month once a week and I do see a major difference in how soft my hair is and how long I can go between washes before it gets greasy.

So moral of the story if you need to refresh your hair routine and you have a friend who literally works in a salon ask her what she uses and try it out! As always all products mentioned are linked above.

I always stress about my wavy hair getting frizzy and try so many different products and techniques and scrunch until my hands ache but I’ve just discovered just..not brushing it. I brush it when it’s wet but after that I have 2 days of brush- free perfect waves and it’s great

🍑 : how meticulously does my muse look after their physical appearance? do they spend a lot of time on their hair, makeup, grooming, and clothing? is there a particular reason why they do or don’t?

bcos gil is the master of the dream world and the head of the feinze clan, this meant that he needs to present himself properly so people could trust him with their needs (may it be war, money, etc). like ya know how ceos make sure they look the part? that's all it is.

but yeah even tho he makes sure he looks good and pleasing to the eye, he actually doesn't spend much time grooming himself. after all, he got used to his short unruly wavy locks plus he already has a sense of what clothes look good on him so yeah. he gets dressed up asap.

however, he actually allots time in his skincare bcos it's his way of relaxing and caring for himself. gil has oily skin so he doesn't like heavily-cream products tho. he also has a lot sunscreen even tho he's a vampire who ages slowly.

autumn. that's definitely gil. his color pallete even screams autumn when I first made him. also reminds of his autumn with devyn.

Ooooo! I still need to do an official post buuuut let me post some:

Ash’s Japanese name is Satoshi while Gary’s is Shigeru. When they were younger they couldn’t pronounce the “sh” so they called each other SatoCHI and CHIgeru. They still do now at times.

Ash is pan and Gary is gay. Ash always gave me the kind of vibe that he loves everybody.

Ash didn’t really know about stigmas with guys dating. He was just like “I like Gary” and no internal crisis.

Gary on the other hand was the opposite. Took him a looooong time to be fully open.

Dated in secret because of it and because they wanted to slowly get a feel for each other first.

Ash helped Gary open up, but since Ash was one of the causes of him hiding his emotions, it took years.

Ash calls Gary when he has time - even remembering to call him more-so than his mother. Gary berates him on that to his chagrin.

Pikachu and Umbreon are best friends and become a couple.

Gary sends Ash gifts when he knows which town Ash is in.

Ash sends Gary handwritten notes since while Gary likes material possessions, he appreciates a heartfelt gift from someone more.

Brock knew all along.

There was kind of a confession at the lake during the Silver Conference under the full moon but Ash didn’t get it. (Canon! Kinda.)

Gary was slowly courting Ash unknowingly then when he realized he freaked and stopped.

Ash eventually realized (since he likes him and took notice of him acting out of character) and bluntly asks him out.

Gary got embarrassed and wouldn’t do anything for several minutes but then was like “Weellll I see you’ve got taste Ashy-boy and you look cute today so I’ll say yesss.”

On their dates they catch up and actually talk. And I mean talk. Not just about pokemon - family, friends, adventures, everything good and bad.

Gary doesn’t feel close to his grandfather so he was anxious to tell him. Ash was all for telling his mom. Ash wanted to know if Gary wanted to tell her first but Gary said it would be best if they told them both together.

Gary wanted to tell them when they were both established in their careers but did it earlier for Ash - at about 18yrs old.

They started dating…oh gosh…I’ll just say end of Sinnoh after the league. I headcanon Sinnoh they’re both 15.

Ash was so out of sorts for his first boyfriend that he was out of it the entire Unova arc.

Gary didn’t visit home during that time since he was afraid someone would hazard a guess. Sometimes people can just tell.

Unfortunately, that got both their guardians concerned and they had to fib. But they laughed to each other about it and that’s when they had serious talks and not just standard ones.

Ash would go to the end of the region in a corner city to get a specific item for Gary that he thought he would like. Gary would have it specially made and tailored to perfection before he gives his to Ash.

When they’re older, they’d live together. But the house would usually be empty since they both travel for their careers.

They’d travel together. (I swear to god anipoke that was perfect why-)

They’d adopt three kids. Twin boy toddlers and a baby girl three years younger. (Possibly adopt another little girl to make it even. She would be several years younger than the first girl.) Boys will have brown hair and brown eyes and the first girl have black hair and green eyes. The second girl will have red hair and blue eyes.

Pikachu and Umbreon have babies. I don’t know how many.

They still bicker and tease each other although now it’s all in good fun. They’re still rivals at heart.

Idk if I should do NSFW or not…maybe a separate post.

I know I have more this is just all I can think of at the moment.

I don’t know much about hair. x_x But I’ll give you headcanons:

Used to wash it every day

Freaked out when someone told him you’re not supposed to wash it every day

Took a long time to get used to not doing it

But when he does he goes all out

Shampoo, conditioner, styles it juuuust right, hair spray, mousse, depends on the day

He likes how it can look spiky but still feel soft
