In the dating world, society views the fact that being alone is a stain of your life. Thus, you should be ashamed of choosing something that you ultimately did for years. This time, though, you had enough of the constant judgement and prodding and turned your head to a dating app.

You hoped that with renting a boyfriend, you may be able to deter those who were prying in your life. And maybe if you're lucky, you might just like that man you've been calling your 'lover'.

MECHANICS:

If you are familiar on what match-ups are, you'll know what it means. For those who are unaware, match-ups work in the sense of filling out a form and sending the results to me to be able to be matched with anyone that fits your qualities.

This goes down the basics (name, age/age range, gender and sexuality, hobbies, and even small tidbits of yourself)! However, this time, I will change things up.

In the event, you must fill out this form to be matched: after all, that form will be your profile when the matchup has been made. Think of it like Tinder, for example. There are a couple of rules before you send your answers on the form, though:

No minors allowed. Sorry, but this event will go down the more NSFW side of each match-up. Also, keep in mind that these are yanderes, so I will refuse any submissions that may be from a minor.

Be patient. These match-ups take a lot of time, and I don't want to give you something so half-assed. Alongside that, harassment is definitely something I don't tolerate in this event.

When going as an anon and without a blog url/tagline, please give me your emoji as a name or anything to signify who you are. I will ignore any submission that doesn't have a sign-off of some kind ;v;

This is only reserved for Genshin Impact. I will also limit this for Genshin men, because I struggle a lot on women. In the future (and if many people wanted it/if I felt like it lol), I'll do the same event for women.

And... Well, I think that's it! Keep in mind that this will begin at January 5 and will end at February 18. However, if there are a lot of submissions, I will extend it to February 28. That also depends on my schedule too, if college will let me live. ^^;

“Completely, my rose.” Your boyfriend offers, reassuring you with a gentle squeeze to your hand.

“A-alright…” You hesitate for an instant, and then, the true magic begins. Honeyed notes fill the auditorium of you and him, butterflies and nightingales swaying to your waltz; pluie lotus and romaritime flowers seem to come alive under the veil of your melody, almost glowing in the dim starlit lake; even the moon has appeared to lend an ear, her shawl of misty clouds opening up to the view of this private stage.

This must be what true love feels like. Is the thought flashing through the magician’s mind, his body feeling weightless, nectarine warmth wrapping tenderly around him.

As your song continues, your vocal chords loosen, the passion that you sometimes conceal spreading its fiery wings, flying you both to the faraway stars.

Another reason that made me choose Lyney as your genshin match is because of his caring nature. The famous magician will not, under any circumstance, allow you to forget to take care of yourself. As seen when he interacts with his family, Lyney is naturally shielding towards them, their wellbeing a priority to him. And that, of course, applies to you too.

Be it because of large crowds, too much stimulation from the environment or any other reason, Lyney somehow always manages to appear just in time to hold your hand. hello and welcome !! handwritten letter is a little project i've made out of pure boredom, in which you send in asks and i reply with a character i think fits your tastes !!

matchups temporarily closed ( further information under cut )

simple guideline and rules ;;

i. as you know, this is a matchup event - send in some of your basic personality traits, hobbies, likes and pet peeves. you can send in whatever you'd like - it's preferable to add your preferred gender, age, and type.

ii. ageless asks will auto to an adult.

iii. anons must be signed under a nickname or emoji combo ( 🧸 anon ,, ziah ,, etc. ) if not, i'll be picking out a little trait i found unique in you hh ( anon that likes _ ,, etc. )

iv. you may request more than one character, but you have a limit of five.

v. you can request for more than one fandom under one ask.

🔮 Why did I choose him for you?

• You're serious and a good listener, which means that Heizou could tell you about his cases or ask you for an opinion • I totally see him getting overwhelmed by a case and you distracting him! Then when he's calmer, you'd go through the materials and clues to make him see the situation from your own perspective • Probably a tickle fight would be a great distraction (maybe even your favorite, for both you and him) • Heizou's combat style is based on martial arts, which is another thing you have in common!!! I can imagine you two training together or even trading techniques!!! • I'm sure he'd be delighted to tickle a certain technique out of you if you don't wanna tell him hehe~ • Heizou isn't particularly loud, but he's extroverted (and super teasy 😳🫣) so he can be a great match for you because he isn't overwhelming but not too quiet either • He's a detective, so he'd be perceptive of your mood even without you telling me (and trust me, it can be useful when you're an INTJ) • I'm 100% sure that Heizou would be able to bring out your fluffy and soft side... 🔮 Tickle scenario

"Ummm... are you sure this is what Madame Kujou Sara told you to do..?" You looked at your lover quizzically, "Of course it is! It's a very effective training passed on by the Shuumatsuban itself" Heizou was quick to reply. "Would you really deny me your precious help, RobbiBabe..?" He used the nickname he invented just for you and gave you those puppy eyes you could never say no to.

"No, no..! It just sounds a little weird, that's all..." you were still perplexed, but you were too weak to Heizou's pleading eyes to say no to him. It was unfair how such a mischievous and cunning person could be so cute... He really had you wrapped around his pinky finger.

"Great! So, I'll explain you again what you gotta do." The detective started, every trace of sadness or plead gone from his face. "You have to pretend to be a criminal who has stolen something precious, and I'll try to get the location of the stolen goods out of you through an interrogation. This will help me to be quicker and more efficient when I'll actually interrogate someone!"

"Umm... fine, let me think about a place where I'd hide something..." you said while your brain gears were working to create a realistic scenario.

After a couple of minutes, you tell Heizou you're ready and give him permission to start this 'interrogation training'. He was taking this scenario very seriously, and it almost scared you how ominous he seemed when he looked at you as if you were a criminal, but after a while, you got more confident and even dared to give him sassy answers and witty remark. Even Heizou was somewhat impressed by how much you seemed to enjoy yourself.

However, you couldn't imagine what your lover was planning...

"Fine," he said at some point, "I guess I'll have to use drastic measures if you don't wanna talk to me. And I even asked nicely..." The look he gave you was threatening and almost disappointed, even if it was an act.

Before you knew it, a pair of mischievous hands were latched on your sides and squeezing firmly but softly. "Gh- aaaaeeeeehh..! W-what are you-" You started squirming in your seat, shivering when you heard a low chuckle coming from 'your interrogator'.

"I think you know what I'm doing, Robin..." The way the detective pronounced your full name made your eyes widen, "the Shuumatsuban is usually rougher when it comes to getting the truth out of someone... but torture is technically legal and I'm not part of the Shuumatsuban, so I gotta find an alternative way to make you talk. Tell me, criminal, are you ticklish?"

You tried your best, but you gave in way more easily than you wanted to admit to yourself. "Aaaahehehehehehe nohohoho!!!" You started squirming in your seat, but you did your best to remain still. "No? You aren't? Then this interrogation should be a piece of cake for you~" He said casually, as if his hands weren't slowly walking towards your most ticklish spot.

Your eyes widened in terror when you realized where they were going. "NO!!! Wahahahahait pleheheaha- NAHAHAHAHAT THEHEHERE NOHOHOHOOOO" You didn't even try to hold back your laughter when your feet were targeted mercilessly.

"IHIHIHI GIHIHIVEEE!!! IHIHI'LL TALK!!!" You pleaded, but you didn't expect your boyfriend to stop tickling you and start laughing boisterously. "Pfft- hahahahahaha I can't believe you really bought the interrogation training excuse!" He saw your perplexed face and explained better.

"I noticed you've been awfully serious this week, so I decided to find a way to make you unwind and have you cooperate with me~" You pouted, but you couldn't deny he was right... and you had enjoyed yourself a lot to be honest...

That evening finished with you two snuggling and kissing sweetly on the couch, and Heizou was unaware of the pair of hands that was making his way towards his bare, exposed ribs...

Hellooo :)) I was very bored and wanted to write stuff so I made this side blog to create this event thingy ^^ Please read the whole thing!!!

What is the event, you ask?

Well, it's like any other matchup event, basically. You can send in an ask and write some information about yourself, and I will assign you a character to ship you with <3 You can share as much or as little about yourself as you'd like!! You could only write the requirements, or you could infodump about yourself and write 13 paragraphs!! I really don't mind- the more the merrier :3 (also I love learning about people)

Ps. This could also be about an oc of yours if you so wish! You don't have to specify if it is an oc or if it's you, only the required info <3
