CUT UPDATE Mostly I’m hungry! I’ve dropped cals again for the final 2 weeks. Not gonna telly oh them because it’s irrelevant and everyone needs something different depending on starting point and goal. Weighed in at 61.4kg two days in a row now after a slight sticking point just above 62kg. Patience. Determination. Focus. Do what you gotta do daily and stick with it. Full disclosure: You can see in the last pic that I store a lot of my body fat around my thighs and butt. These are very difficult to lean out for me. You can see the stretch marks too. Don’t care. Nothing we can do about body fat distribution but keep going on leaning out gradually. Also I’m having skin troubles on my back so I don’t want any comments or messages about that unless you know any awesome ways to clear your skin up in that hard to reach area thank you! Please note my goal here is not to make my body smaller (I actually want bigger muscles) but to cut back some body fat after a couple years of strength and muscle building in a surplus so that I can see the muscle I’ve built! DO NOT FOCUS ON MY WEIGHT - it’s just a number! I use it as data to track my fat loss progress, scale weight itself does not matter and it is not part of your identity. Bulking by definition is a practice used by bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts alike and the basic principles that one intakes more calories than they expend. Bodybuilders also train in a much different manner during this time as well. Many prefer to conduct this during the winter because of our bodies natural tendencies to put on weight during this season and also because come summer everyone wants that bikini body and is cutting by that time (a discussion for a different post). In this bulking/improvement season I have been lifting much heavier in part because as a woman my body relies more on human growth hormone than testosterone and that is released more in a regimen of heavy lifts. This can often be the perfect combo during a bulking season. That’s just a brief overlook of what a bulk/improvement season is. And as I progress I’ll share more information and details of the process. The good the bad and everything in between.
