Why is it so hard to sit down to study??? But when u do sit down it's so easy and actually fun that u really question yourself about why couldn't u do this earlier!? But then u struggle to actually sit down and study again and then u realize it not that hard and then the cycle just continues

I finished my second test. It was a substance nonlinear optimization. I studied hard and I thought I would do well, but there is a whole problem that I do not know if the results are correct or not, but I found my colleagues solved the problem with different results than me. I felt disappointed. I hope to finish these tests quickly. In fact, I discovered that I was not benefiting from the subjects taught to me at the university. That's why I took my own path and searched for courses in my field to develop myself. I did not care to start studying university subjects. My CPA is A- . I do not want to take less than this, especially since this term is my last term in my university. I hope it ends well, Amen. 🤲🏻

♡ The night before an exam ♡
I've got two more a level exams tomorrow! I wanted to share how I spend the evening before an exam <3

I usually spend around 4 hours in the day going through past paper questions and going over areas I feel need more practice. I try not to overdo it to avoid burnout and there's only so much more you can remember the day before!
Once I'm done I'll have a hot bath or shower and change into comfortable clothes to get cosy
When I'm changed I'll have dinner and spend time with my family. I usually watch a few episodes of a show, right now we are watching Downton Abbey. This really helps me to relax and take my mind off the exam.
Later I'll go to my room and get comfortable. I like to keep my window slightly open to get fresh air in and then I'll use a room spray too. I spend some time doing stretches and meditation before getting into bed.

When I'm in bed I'll call my boyfriend for an hour or so, it's nice to spend time with loved ones to de-stress <3
It's best to get an early night, avoid cramming before the exam late at night. Prioritise sleep and your health! It's better to get a good rest to be alert for the exam. I aim to get around 8+ hours sleep to make sure I'm fully rested
I use essential oils to relax then write in my five minute journal. Finally I'll read a chapter of my book before heading to bed.
I hope this can help! Exam season is hard so make sure to prioritise yourself and try to avoid comparing yourself to others, it does more damage than good <3

Pfff`~~~ got an e-mail from my math teacher about the incoming math exam (we can vote for a date), which will be my last chance.
me 2 nights later: has a nightmare about the math exam

But at least my anxiety brain got creative. Basically dreamed that I was at the end of the exam. But I also could see ghosts (some nice human looking ones). One was chilling beside me and an other one opposite the room, snooping over other peoples shoulders. I was sorting my papers and the two talked. The one beside me talked about a smell only ghosts can smell. But the other dude was just in a coma so he isn't dead yet and couldn't smell it.
Then the teacher announced the end of the class and we should hand in our exam. But that moment the coma dude looked up and said now he could smell it too. And I was shocked because I realised that dude just died.
It all distracted me so much that I forgot to hand in my papers !!!!! And I only realised it one day later when I unpacked my bag that I still had the exam. The rest of the dream I tried to contact my teacher but I forgot her name and address (it wasn't my uni teacher but my old junior high math teacher for some reason???). And when I finally met her she went super unclear wether I could still secretly give her the exam or if she wants to be kind and wont let me fail anyways (not handing it in is an instant fail, leaving the room with it is against the rules and also makes you fail).

Well, I just found out that the reference books given for my psychology course dont have chapters that need to be studied fully.
I just asked my roommate (2nd year), if I had to study everything in the book, and he just said read the chapter and focus on what was taught in class.
This is a goddamn game changer. I always wondering how the hell did my professor not teach this topic and what the hell did I miss.

Sunday: 31/03/24 || ٢١ رمضان ١٤٤٥ه‍ـ
Today is my first midterm test.. (These pictures are from yesterday) but I am facing some negligence from the subject professor. He did not tell us what points we should study from the book in order to study for this test, and also what he says in the explanation is completely different from the book, and these two are completely different from the sheets. I hope Allah makes test to pass well. Everyone told me that the test comes from sheets and essay questions from the book, and others say from sheets. Only a few hours remain. I don't know.. I hope everyone is well. Praise be to Allah, I will finish these tests on Wednesday, Allah willing 🤲🏻

The way I always underestimate my anxiety disorder till I get confronted with triggers .-.
I mean yea the point of mental disorders is that they are usually super unreasonable but come one... 
It’s the exam on Friday + hairdresser appointment tomorrow. Makes my body freak out even though I know the hairdresser is always nice (+ I will feel more confident cleaned up) and I don’t even care for the exam outcome anymore. Yet my body still goes into autopiloting to anxiety mode and also tunes in all my other anxiety triggering thoughts.
But It will probably wear down till Friday (at some point the adrenaline is out) but then it usually turns into numbness, depression and the urge of giving up (the task). Which I then have to fight during the exam while trying to focus. Bitch I still wanna try to make it, I just don’t care if I fail but it still would be neat to get through... Hope spicy gums and slow breathing keep me grounded. Those are the only things I can do during an exam that do have some effect on me. I learned a few mor things in therapy but they are all time consuming and just mildly helping. Like turning your anxiety / depression into characters and argue with them in your head. Or go to a mental safe place and breath for a few minutes. Can’t do that during a time pressure exam... Wish I could just listen to music but that’s not allowed obviously.
I still have sport on Wednesday, hope this will use up all the adrenaline and pour out some dopamine (sport does that, but will it be enough?)
