COD petplay headcanons

Little do you know anon, I enjoy petplay, so this is no weird question at all. And you are so right. Petplay COD be upon ye.

Ill be going on holiday all of next week, so if you guys are fine with shorter replies i can write some on my phone, let me know what you think.

John “Soap” MacTavish

Soap is such a good pup, kind of a brat sometimes but its because he wants your attention. You’ll catch him crawling around with your clothes in his mouth or half crawled under the kitchen table, his lower body still sticking out as he chews on something he shouldn’t be chewing on.

Whines loudly and paws at your leg for attention any time you aren’t paying attention to him. Can’t you see how good he’s being? How tempted his tummy is when he rolls onto his back? Don’t you wanna rub it?

The type to crawl around in a jockstrap, a harness, a collar, a puphood and pup gloves. Don’t forget the plug with a tail attached so he can wag so prettily for you, or so it can wag all over the place when he’s feeling playful.

Sadly, you’ll have to punish the poor pup on the regular, he makes a mess and can’t keep himself from humping your leg or crawling onto the furniture to lick and bite at you. Its not unusual to find him humping pillows in your bedroom, whining for you.

Kyle “Gaz” Garrick

Hes more calm than the others, but don’t expect that means he’s less of a troublemaker. Will steal your keys or your clothes and hide them under the bed, or under his dog bed so that you can’t leave. Will chew on your belts and throw your laundry all over the place.

A whiner too, has this warbled pathetic sounding whine he lets out when you tell him to stay still and quiet so you can work, but settles down if hes allowed to wrap around your feet. It always ends up with him chewing or licking your ankles though.

Wears a getup similar to Soap, with the jockstrap, harness, hood and gloves. Likes how it makes him dependent on you as his master to take care of him. Sometimes he just gets home from a mission, puts on his hood, and lays down with his head in your lap to calm down from the day.

Tries to be more sneaky when he’s horny, like subtly grinding into the floor or his dog bed, or sitting down and wiggling in his spot so he can move his plug around inside him. You always catch him though, since he starts that warbly whine when he gets close but can’t finish without you.

Simon “Ghost” Riley

The most well-behaved pup, think like a well-trained military dog. Always standing straight on all fours, back straight, head lifted, and chest puffed out. He soaks up any praise you give him with a gruff bark and a small wag.

Doesn’t regularly whine, is more of a barker or growler. He growls the most if there are other pups around that try to get close to you or play with him, as he’s always standing on guard in front of you. You always have to muzzle him around other pups cuz Ghost does nip at times, especially when other pups are acting up and he needs to correct their behavior.

Tends to do play either fully dressed in his military gear, just a tail strapped to his belt and a customized hood with his skull paint. Or fully naked, only wearing maybe a harness, a spikey collar, his hood, his tail, and a cockcage unless you need it off.

If Ghost is in the mood, you’ll invite other pups over (unless you are poly and have multiple partners who are pups) and Ghost will assert himself as the alpha amongst them. This is where you take the cage off him so he can push down the other pups and take them. He will always arch his back for you though, or roll onto his back and spread his legs with a tiny barely audible whine for you.

Gary “Roach” Sanderson

A very quiet pup and doesn’t act up much, tends to be more on the chill side. Hes even allowed in the furniture since he wont mess it up like others, and likes to curl up beside you with his head in your lap.

When hes feeling it though, like if you’ve been apart for a while, he might start growing antsy. Crawling around in front of you or sitting right by your feet and letting out tiny barely audible whines. It always ends up with him pawing at your knee and looking at you with the most lethal puppy eyes ever.

Doesn’t wear as much gear at the others, I don’t think he would enjoy the gloves that make his hands unusable, and the hood might feel too restrictive to him. Instead hed just resort to walking on his knuckles, wearing a headband with ears, and maybe wearing a belt with a tail on top of his boxers.

A licker, he doesn’t say much, but you will know he’s truly in the mood when he starts licking you all over. Licking at your hands, your legs, your torso, slobbering all over your pants and crotch until you open your belt and give him what he wants.

Phillip Graves

Another troublemaking pup, a brat. Rips up pillows and gnaws on your belts and wallet. The type you have to play tug of war with for your belt as he growls and yips, wagging his tail and drooling on the floor.

The kinda pup you’ll have to spank and punish in other ways, not out of this world to put him in a cockcage or crate for the night if he’s acted out way too much. He enjoys it very much though, so it’s nothing he hasn’t asked for himself. Graves has probably come up with some of the punishments himself.

Hes fully geared up, hood, gloves, tail and all, except he wouldn’t wear a jockstrap, just fully naked expect for the pup parts. Hes not always wearing a cage as its only for punishment, so you can catch him grinding against stuff sometimes.

The most effective punishment for him is overstimulation, laying him across your lap and jerking him off until he’s whining and writhing and shaking, where after you’ll let him cuddle against your chest after cleaning him up, praising him and giving him good aftercare.

as for your question, the answer is both yes and no. yeosang has essentially become darling’s living, breathing pillow and naps by the fire with her favourite werewolf have become so commonplace that it’s no longer a surprise to hongjoong and seonghwa when they walk into the living room to see the two of your sprawled out on top of the rug. most of the time yeosang stays awake, his eyes big and wide as he watches you sleep. it’s sweet to see him so taken by you, but if joong or hwa ever ask any questions, he’s spitting out some sort of sarcastic response in a desperate attempt to hide the fact that he’s loving having you nap on him.

“you think i like being used as a pillow for this brat? please, she’s so wriggly when she sleeps; it’s annoying.”

darling will never sleep in yeosang’s room at night, though. there’s multiple reasons but yeosang would argue that the main one is that he won’t allowed her too. like he says, she’s wriggly and he’s willing to accept that when she insists on napping with him downstairs, but in his own bed? no way. besides, hongjoong gets moody when he wakes up without either of his lovers by his side. it’s happened before where he woke up to find that darling wasn’t there. in a panic he woke up seonghwa, only for her to return from the bathroom seconds later. he gave her curt remarks about being abandoned for the rest of the day until seonghwa stepped in to put a stop to his ridiculous attitude.

A/N: Ooo… I like where your head’s at, it’ll be my first time writing the yan boyos, so this will be very interesting. Some of this is inspired by @pianocat939 ‘s adaptation, but lets be honnessttt when is it nottttt

Disclaimer: I’m not saying reader has it, just a few symptoms. I don’t condone anything these Yanderes do, this is pure fiction, and should stay that way.

It worries him, a lot.

He had asked Donnie to do a full checkup the moment you slept over 11 hours in one setting.

Once he found out there was nothing necessarily wrong, he settles down a little, but he still gets nervous whenever you sleep too much.

He finds himself shaking you awake more often than not, making sure you still had a pulse. At this point, the only way you can get uninterrupted sleep is by quite literally snuggling him into compliance.

You wrap a lazy arm around his neck, and he all but short circuits, all his rebuttals melting away as he nuzzled into your grasp.

He appreciates that this means he can go on missions without worrying that you’re scared without him, cuz’ you’re dozing away in his room, keeping his stuffed animals company ♡

His trust isn’t broken too easily, he tends to make your excuses for you, however, if you’re consistently trying to escape, it’s trouble. After the third attempt, he’ll start locking the door when he leaves on patrol, unintentionally guilt tripping you everytime he has to leave. But you wouldn’t do that, so there’s no worry, just because you’re too sweet ☺️

Speaking of when he has to leave!! He’ll always notify you— you won’t just wake up cold and alone, he’ll gently shake you awake to let you know he’s heading out. Sure he wanted you to sleep through it so his poor little darling wasn’t terrified, but if he knows he’ll be a while, he wants you to know.

Sometimes he’ll just leave a note. but either way, if he leaves? you’ll know.

On occasion, he’ll knit while you cuddle up to him, it just helps melt all his anxieties away, and if he gives you a sweater then you’ll definitely wear it, right?

It’s possible he tries to get you moving on occasion, suggesting you train with him or even go on a walk with him (not outside, literally just around the lair.)

If he does watch movies with you, they’re high action so you both don’t fall asleep. He’s more focused on you, honestly, he wants to know so much about you it’s honestly a little unsettling. Because you’re asleep all the time, he feels like he hasn’t gotten to know you as much as he wants to— so he’s practically memorizing your personality. He’s stuck in the middle, like he knows so much about you and yet nothing at all.

Sicky-Sweet. whenever you start yawning or acting sleepy, he’ll start babying you— asking if you want him to rock you or if you want a snack. He coos over you nonstop, caressing your face with his hands and leaning in to place a sweet kiss on your forehead.

“Regret!! Why is he so double sided? One moment he’s scared the next he’s sweet??” Exactly. Raph’s never been level headed. he tries to be!! Ohhh he tries to be. but you trip. him. up.

He has no idea how much of a loose canon he is, and it ends up hurting the people around him. He gets fidgety when someone so much as mentions how much you sleep, and he’s trying to suppress the sudden urge to punch their lights out as well as desperately explain why there was nothing wrong with you.

Leo

He doesn’t mind. Not one bit.

Out of everyone, he’s probably the one that likes watching you sleep the most other than Mikey. (Creepy ass hoes)

You will never wake up without him either right next to you- playing with your hair and holding you close in his arms, OR CROUCHING OVER YOU WITH THE CREEPIEST F-KING SMILE ON HIS FACE.

“Did you need something?” You ask groggily, eyes focusing in on him. “Nope.” He responds, not even bothering to shake his head. “So I can go back to sleep?” You raise a brow, “Yeah yeah! goaheadbemyguest. :)” he waves his hand to brush off the question, still grinning as his bloodshot eyes bore into you.

If he ever goes on missions while your asleep, he locks the door from the outside— Yknow, just in case you get any ideas ♡. That way, If you need anything, you can just text him!!

and he’ll come running~

“What’s that Raph?” He taunts his eldest brother, smirking as he opens a portal, “Sorry I can’t hear you~ (y/n) needs me!!”

“ Leo do NOT portal away— GHHAH.” If the red-clad turtle had hair, he’d be pulling it out. “we have a foot clan situation here!!”

Leo doesn’t care in the slightest. he never really did. He considers the missions a responsibility he can easily neglect in favor of you. He doesn’t even want to be on the missions, really. He wants to be with you. Your text telling him how horribly dehydrated you are, or starving, or sluggish.. it brings him pure glee. Please have a need he can cater to.

He adores it, your look of helplessness without him— he loves the feeling of making that all go away, and sure it hurts staying away from you for an entire day, but the sound of you calling him, asking him to come home is like wedding bells music to his ears.

Out of everyone, he’s the most likely to pull you out of bed. He adores your sleeping face, but how can he help you if you’re sleeping? So he shakes your shoulder, insisting you just had to see this new movie he picked out.

Hyperactive. He’s not always snuggling up to you, sometimes he’s bouncing off the walls, and the only thing that will calm him down is you. You’re his antidepressant, his stimulant, and his pain relief all in one. He leans forward in his chair when you speak, his eyes dilating in a lovesick manner at the sound of your voice. If he really gets in his head, it’s possible he might start thinking you’re sleeping to avoid him. He would ask you about it, trying to seem nonchalant to mask his desperation.

You’re gonna have to reassure him, tell him what you love about him, and the like, because if you are avoiding him, you’re in for a world of hurt.

He’s not above making a ‘cure’ to your sleepiness, and he’s not above giving you his cure without your consent. If this is to spite him, he will take away your one refuge. He should be your safe space! Sure he kidnapped you, but you’re not still mad about that, right? It didn’t matter, because you’d be singing his tune once you lost three days of sleep, someone who sleeps all the time can only handle so much loss of energy.

I think that Lucifer smells like smoke. Not in a bad way of course.

He spends so much time in his office, and I 100% believe he has a fire place in there.

As for taste…

Simeon almost certainly has a faint floral smell, though not of any specific flower.

It’s calm, and peaceful you know?

But not being able to pin what flower it is can elude to his shady nature.

I personally don’t believe Simeon is this pure, all forgiving, perfect being.

Honestly I think he’s on par with, or potentially worse than, the brothers.

But that’s what makes him so interesting.

For taste, this will make little to no sense.

I think he tastes like the sky. Just the vas openness, the clean blue, the freedom.

But perhaps I think that because loving Simeon is a sin.

Solomon

Another one that smells like smoke.

But his smoke is a little different.

It’s putrid in a way, hints of magic and ingredients lingering with the smoky smell.

He is a scientist to an extent, doing many experiments.

And those experiments don’t always work, sometimes they explode.

As much as I’d like to say he’d taste nice, I don’t think he does.

I can’t shake the feeling that Solomon tastes of newts and frogs.

Really want to write some cute fluffy shit for all the fandoms I write for (VLD, Sally Face and Hazbin) where reader has a stutter bc..I have a stutter. I WANT TO WRITE X READER WITH A STUTTER AND SHAMELESSLY SELF INSERT OKAY? SHOULD I DO IT? Or is that too niche? Anyone else have any kind of speech impediment? Cuz like I can’t stop imagining my comfort characters either lovingly teasing me about my stutter or being so kind and patient and waiting for me to finish my sentence when I’m struggling or even trying to finish my sentences for me (which actually really irritates tf out of me but I think it would be sort of endearing coming from a comfort character).

Hi!

I have had a block for both writing and drawing for several years. I look at your works with longing in my eyes and think how wonderful it would be to draw regularly again. I was never particularly talented and had many gaps in learning to draw, but I enjoyed it. Now I don't know how to start drawing or writing. My laptop is full of unfinished stories. I have lots of ideas for drawings, but it's hard for me to get down to work.

Therefore, my question is: Do you have any advice for people who haven't drawn/written for several years and would really like to get back to it, but can't motivate themselves, have no ideas, etc.? Or quite the opposite. They have lots of ideas, but for some reason they can't draw anything?

Hello! Sorry it took so long to respond, I wanted to make sure I could respond properly to this so I thought it over a lot, I’m going to put it under a read more cuz it’s gonna get long lol

I (sly) am kinda in the same position as you at least when it comes more to art, writing ive kinda cracked the block but still trying to break through the ice, all the art on our blog is Ferals art, I only complete the line work and shading (but not always) I haven’t drawn any of my own stuff in probably a few years but I’m trying to get back into it cuz I miss it as well, I completely get the whole feeling of looking at Feral’s art and wanting to create my own but finding it so difficult to do

For the art aspect my plan is to start at square 1, start how I first starting drawing, which for me was to look up refs, animals and draw them by sight, just to get back into the groove of trying to bring back that muscle memory, maybe you started by tracing images, you could trace only the rough outlines and then shade and detail them, just something simply and easy, you probably won’t be happy with the results (I know I certainly won’t be with my own) but it’s a start

Look up things that you enjoy, draw your squad, incorrect quotes to do with ocs maybe even draw them out, try and keep it simple, you don’t need to create a masterpiece on the first day back, any attempt is a step forward even if you dislike it, try it out at least once a day everyday, a simple doodle just for fun or to exercise your muscle memory again, the first part is gonna be hard and messy, that’s totally ok! All that matters is the attempt!

For the writing aspect try and keep it simple as well, focus on making short one-shots or even just bullet point dialogues, your old unfinished writing isn’t going anywhere, when you feel comfortable enough to attempt to continue it just go for it!

I had a big gap in my writing periods and sometimes I still go a few months with out touching any of my stories, blocks happen and are normal, something that I try to get back into is read other people’s work, both to see the writing style and to get some inspiration to continue my own works

When I actually get down to actually writing my story I just dump down the story as I think it, I just keep writing even if it looks messy and grammatically incorrect to at least get the story moving and progressing. After I have the rough story down, is when I go back to correct spelling mistakes, add more details/dialogues or events in between to create a much better flow for the story

I usually do this multiple times for each fic I create, usually in between pauses (either due to blanking on ideas or just cuz I wasn’t feeling it) so whenever I reopen my doc, I just reread and add on, then I do it again one or two more times once it’s completed

I struggle a lot with perfectionism when it comes to my art and writing, and unfortunately it’s a big killer for my motivation, especially when I see others that make better works than me. I’ve been slowly unlearning that urge to make everything perfect, by just allowing myself to have messy and rough works, it’s not always going to come out how I want it but at least I got it as close as I could in the moment with my current skill level

I like to tell myself, the more I keep doing it, the more I’ll improve, and I’ll always be able to come back with more ideas and skill to remake this better than my first attempts, just because I did it doesn’t mean I can’t try to do it again

Being easier on yourself does wonders (I know easier said than done unfortunately 😭) but your practically having to relearn skills that have gotten rusty, even if you were doing great before, your gonna have to build back up to that point, it’s just like exercising a muscle ✨

•it takes some time and a lot of explaining but after a while he starts to understand you

•hes constantly reassuring you that everything is alright and you’ll always be safe when hes around.

•tbh he probably get a little spooked by you sometimes because you’ll be doing something completely normal then just randomly question him about what he would do in a crazy ass life threatening situation. you see this as normal, he sees it as concerning…

•sometimes, he’ll be having a normal conversation with you when he notices you looking over his shoulder nervously. He tries to ignore it for a minute to see if you’ll calm down on your own but when your face starts to look even more concerned, he whips his head around so fast to see what you’re looking at😭

• he straight up yells ”what the fuck are you looking at?”💀 YOU WERE SCARING HIM, HE THOUGHT SOMEONE WAS GONNA ATTACK HIM FROM BEHIND OR SOMETHING 😭

•after he sees that no one’s trying to hurt either of you, he apologizes for yelling and moves to sit closer to you

• “nothing bad gonna happen, baby. It’s alright. Im right here”

•would definitely stay home with you if being in public made you too paranoid

•if you get scared around bed time he’ll make sure to leave a nightlight or a lamp on so that you wont mistake any shadows for people or anything like that

•and he ALWAYS makes sure that hes sleeping closer to the door, even if you dont ask him too. You are always sleeping between him and the wall. It makes him feel more secure that your safe. (Boys got some of his own paranoia sometimes)

•he will sit in the bathroom while you shower so that you wont be anxious. He just sits there and fucks around with random products he finds on the counter or in the cabinets (i personally get paranoid when im in the shower, dont ask why cuz idk😭)

You hummed as Nikolais lips drifted down the scope of your neck, one of your hands tangled in his hair as the morning sun drifted in through the opened curtains. It was one of Nikolais rarer days wherein he could spare a few extra hours in your company, neither of you very content anywhere but in each others arms, lips either moving as you talked or pressing kisses along the scope of the other persons body.

“I love you,” Nikolai whispered against the skin of your collarbone. “Saints, I love you so much.”

Your hand carded through his hair with the words, eventually coming to rest at the back of his neck.

“You are everything to me,” he continued, kissing back up the scope of your neck, along the line of your jaw. He dipped his head back to the space between your neck and shoulder, lips deliciously grazing the spot after a moment. He hummed against the skin and you shuddered, feeling it against the whole of your body. “I do love it when we talk, but I have to admit, my favorite thing has always been rendering you voiceless.”

“Sorry to disappoint then, love,” you said. “You have yet to do so.”

Nikolai laughed against your skin, kissing the space closest to him and lifting himself up slightly before laying back down on your right, eyes meeting yours.

“Ah,” he said. “I do love it when you bruise my ego.”

“I love you too, Nik,” you said. “You just start kissing me and my ability to speak is rendered useless.”

“Am I really that talented?” Nikolai asked, smirk stretching the right corner of his lips.

You scoffed. “Oh, you know you are, you prick!”

Nikolai laughed. “Well, perhaps I just needed reassurance,” he said.

You hummed, and Nikolai pressed a kiss to your cheekbone. “Now, back to kissing you and rendering you voiceless,” he whispered before leaning up and nibbling on your ear gently, kissing the space behind it and down your neck once again, across one collarbone and down one shoulder.

“You are the love of my life,” he said, kissing down the length of your right arm, pressing a kiss to your palm, the back of your hand, your knuckles. “I really can’t say it in many more ways, Y/N. I am so lucky to be your husband and to be here. I want you to know that I know that.”

He kissed back up your right arm, across your shoulder and your collarbone, only to repeat the process on the left side. When he was done, you were breathless and dazed and all you wanted to do was spend the entirety of the day with him, between your bedsheets and your husband, talking and kissing and letting yourself shiver with the sensual way of his voice.

His lips kissed up the center of your neck, your jaw, and eventually, finally, his lips met your own in an open mouthed kiss that nearly made you melt.

“I love you,” you whispered. “Don’t call yourself lucky, Nik. I’m clearly the lucky one here. I wonder how I managed it every single day.”

Nikolai grinned and pressed a quick peck against your lips, head falling next to yours as his eyes fluttered closed.

"Sometimes, I resent my status as king," he said. "I took the morning away, but now I wish that I could spend the day here. I guarantee you my feet would not touch the floor to leave if I did not have to go, but I do."

You hummed. “I know, and I love you for how committed you are to the wellbeing of Ravka. I’m glad we get this morning. In fact, right now, that’s all that really matters to me.”

Nikolai sighed contentedly. “I’ll ring up for breakfast and we’ll eat together. I'll see if I can get away early, spend my time with you in the light of the moon instead of the sun."

You grinned. "I love the sound of that. Stay with me now, though. The morning isn't over yet, Nik. We still have at least an hour."

Nikolai laughed and pressed another peck to your lips as he hummed a contented hum of his own. Just like that, you were blissful again. Mornings like that were few and far between as things picked up in Ravka, but you were endlessly grateful for them as they came.

The Boys with a Chronically Ill S/O

A/N: guys omg i finally figured out how to get motivation to write omg [i immediately keel over and die from being scholastically overwhelmed] but putting life’s crap aside, this was actually quite fun to write!

Riddle Rosehearts

Initially very upset when he sees that you tend to push yourself and ignore your pain and exhaustion on a daily basis.

With how much he fusses over you, you’re half convinced there’s a rule about this situation somewhere, but no, he’s just like an angry mother hen, pecking at you constantly to take a break, or running to Sam’s store to get you painkillers or whatever else you need at all.

Totally wants to yell at Vargas when he hears that he was pushing you a bit too hard in PE, and you got super exhausted as a result and had to force yourself to take a break.

However, Riddle’s very proud of you for powering through every day despite your sickness and pain. He doesn’t know very many people at the rest of the school who could endure what you have without complaining.

During the evenings, he likes to sit with you in bed and have a few cups of tea while going over homework or just having nice conversation, whether that’s just how your day went or deeper topics, whatever you want to do, he’ll do, for you.

Sometimes he’ll ask Trey to bake you some sort if pastry or sweet, if you so desire. If not, then he’ll treat you to whatever you want at the cafeteria for lunch, and every time he’s fighting the urge to yell at Crowley for not supplying you with enough funds to have a comfortable life like everyone else.

No matter what, he always wants to support you and ease your suffering however he can, you just have to tell him what you want, and he’ll do it. He may be the ‘Queen’ of Heartslabyul, but he’ll always be there to serve you.

Leona Kingscholar

At first, he probably doesn’t even know that there’s such a thing as an illness that causes you nausea, and bodily weakness, and everything else. Because he kind of grew up around royalty, he was only ever around people who received the best healthcare money could buy, and never really stopped to consider there were people like you who weren’t exactly in top shape.

He never blamed you for it, though. If anything, he was irritated at whatever created you and decided to mess up your body like that. Why shouldn’t you get to live painlessly, and be able to run free and do whatever you want without getting dizzy and nauseous? Bullshit.

Always dragged you away from PE class (and maybe other classes too) to go nap with him. He tended to unconsciously hold onto you like he was trying to protect you from the illness trying to snatch you away. Maybe if you slept by his side enough, all that stuff would fade, and maybe you could sleep peacefully enough to dream about a world where you could live without this chronic garbage. That’s what he said, anyway.

He DEFINITELY yells at Vargas when he’s picking on you, no restraint to be seen anywhere. Leona’s very protective of you like that.

When you’re out and around the school, he’s not by your side all the time (can’t come off as clingy, now, can we?) but he meets you in the halls when he can, and subtly praises you for making it through the day so far.

Sends Ruggie to get you painkillers, nausea medicine, your favorite snacks, anything. Doesn’t care how much it costs, if it’s for you.

Azul Ashengrotto

Once he becomes aware of your chronic illness (and he finds out very fast. He’s a well-informed boy), he’s dropping everything to go help or comfort you at any given moment. He’ll even leave class if he needs to.

Not that he needs much excuse to skip PE class in particular.

Will procrastinate on paperwork and Mostro Lounge duties when he can to be with you, and send Jade, Floyd, or both to accompany you when he can’t. Don’t worry, they have your best interests in mind (most of the time).

Always has medication and snacks on hand in his office, and a spot permanently reserved for you in a quiet part of the Lounge for you to retreat to whenever you needed a break, free of charge! And he always told his waiters to gift you one free drink of your choice. He’s just benevolent like that, isn’t he?

However if you need to get away from the noise, the door to his office is always open. He’d be glad to have you stay with him for a little while.

He’s also very proud of the way you constantly seem to have a glass-half-full mindset in your life, even when things can be so rough for you. It’s quite admirable, really. He wished he was able to hold onto your positivity when he was younger during his own rough days of being teased by everyone else.

If it seems at all like you’re struggling during the day, he’ll gently thread his fingers through yours and whisper encouragements like “I think you’re doing wonderful today, darling” softly into your hair. And in the evenings, if you happen to be in Azul’s room, he likes to hold you in his arms, offering complete protection from the pains and worries of the world, and gives you an opportunity to relax or even fall asleep if you wish, in as safe a place as he can give you.

He’s never been so soft and open with anyone like this before. It’s new to him, all of it, but he’s willing to do absolutely anything for you, because he’s never, in all his life, found a pearl that shines as beautifully as you, and he’s not going to wanna let you slip through his fingers. He wants to treasure you as softly and as reverently as you deserve.

Floyd Leech

Aww man, does this mean he can’t squeeze his Shrimpy as hard as he wants?

It’s fine, he understands that it’ll hurt a bit too much for you, but it still makes him sad :(

HOWEVER given how tall and strong he is, he could totally pick you up and carry you with ease, and he doesn’t even need an excuse to do it (maybe for the teachers he needs one. But he can just say he’s taking you to the infirmary)

He’ll fight ANYONE who even tries to give you shit for not being as physically healthy as everyone else, and you better believe those guys are not walkin’ out of that fight without a couple missing teeth or some broken bones.

After he beats the shit out of those haters though, he just grabs you like there’s not a problem in the world and carries you bridal-style through the halls and away to… somewhere else. Maybe he’ll take you to the Mostro Lounge and get you some food! As long as you give him affection in return.

You tell him about anything you need him to get from Sam’s once, and he’s got that memorized for GOOD. Always knows what you need and want after that without you ever needing to repeat yourself.

Totally down to let you sleep in his bed every night if you wanted to, he loves cuddling with you at night, it’s comforting! And it helps him sleep more solidly. Down in the Coral Sea, as a general rule, if you were alone, you were unsafe, especially if you were sleeping alone. So it’s nice to be able to hold onto you and let him feel like he’s got someone with him. He’ll always be there to protect you as well, obviously!

He’s proud of you for staying positive on your rough days, but he’s there for you to fall back on if it just gets too tiring one day. But on the regular, he’s cheering you on and telling you how awesome you are for looking at the bright side all the time. Even when he’s in a bad mood, once he notices your optimism, it lightens a bit, because seeing you so bright and happy can’t help but make him feel a little better.

Jade Leech

He’s always very attentive to your needs. There’s never a moment when he’s unprepared for anything you might desire, it’s like he’s psychic.

Like, you’re wanting to leave PE class? Before you even open your mouth, Jade’s already on his way to Vargas to inform him that sadly you will be absent for the rest of the period due to unfortunate circumstances, and he will be accompanying you to the nurse’s office shortly.

In reality, you can go wherever you want to go and do whatever you want to do once Vargas is out of sight, because Jade gives exactly no shits as long as you’re happy.

Somehow he has pain and nausea meds on him like, all the time. You don’t even need to go anywhere to get any cuz guess what, your boy Jade’s gotchu.

May or may not have you experiment with some of his mushrooms to test their healing or pain-numbing abilities (don’t you worry, he would never drug you on purpose without permission, as curious as he is. He’ll save the hallucinogenic ones for messing with Floyd and Azul.)

He’s also very good at potions as well, so he may get a bit experimental with those as well, possibly adding in a few shrooms here and there. But it’s all for your benefit— he truly does want to help you and wants to get you some relief from the chronic pains.

He’s not exactly surprised you’re able to keep a smile on your face day to day— he knows thats just how you are. However that doesn’t mean he isn’t impressed at how you continue the positivity without showing a hint of wanting to break most days. He’s impressed by how it’s not entirely a façade, that you’re truly happy most of the time.

But when you’re at your lowest, when you’re in the most pain or unusually tired, he’s always there for you to fall into his arms and forget about the world for a little bit.

Kalim Al-Asim

He’s really really sad for you once he realizes that because of your illness, you can’t do anything that requires lots of moving around, like dancing as jubilantly as he can! He’d really love to dance with you, and he expresses as much with a sad, almost puppy-like face.

It sucks that you can’t really do particular things, but he’s determined to find something you CAN do that you’ll both enjoy, that doesn’t mean you have to experience any pain!

Would a carpet ride work? He wishes he could take you on a carpet ride. Hmmm.

Well, while he figures that out, he asks Jamil to maybe come up with a potion to take away some of your pain, so that he can teach you to dance!

But on most regular days, he’ll constantly tap on your arm and slip you little notes during class that say stuff like “hey r u doing ok? :)”

But it’s like. all the time. almost to the point of being annoying. He just wants to make sure that you’re doing okay enough to still be in class, and if you ever give the slightest indication it’s getting kind of bad, he’s dragging you by the arm and already on his way to the door, not even stopping before he’s saying “We’ll be right back, professor!” with a happy wave before he’s already gone with you in tow.

Makes you dizzy with how fast he’s speed-walking, and you actually have to tell him to slow down so it goes away. He didn’t mean to, though, but he’s endlessly apologizing anyway. He loves you a lot and would never do that on purpose! :(

He has Jamil whip up some Scalding Sands specialty dishes whenever it’s been a rough day for you, and makes sure it’s to your taste, whether you like spiciness or not. It’s supposed to be a comfort food after all!

Kalim’s always your number one cheerleader, and he wants to motivate you throughout the day to keep going, and is always happy to see you staying upbeat!

He’s always by your side, if that wasn’t clear. Always trying to be there to make you laugh or keep your mood up and to check in on you, and until you literally tell him to go away he’s not leaving you, he cares too much to want to leave you on your own… but if it’s solitude you need, of course he’ll respect that. He knows not to cross clear-set boundaries when it comes to you.

Jamil Viper

Not super clingy like some of the others, but he definitely gives you more attention and care than he normally would.

Cooks for you almost every day, whether its a simple lunch or an extravagant dinner he set up in his room for just the two of you. He puts a lot of thought into your taste preferences when he shares his food with you, and never forgets your reactions to anything, no matter how subtle your facial expressions are. He always remembers what you definitely seem to like, and knows how to tweak other dishes to make them even more delicious.

Despite his ever-busy schedule, he’ll make trips to Sam’s every day to get you any medication or painkillers you need. Sometimes he’ll even brew a potion for you to try and ease the pain.

If you’re tired or in pain during class and can’t focus, he’ll automatically share his notes with you and personally go over everything you might have missed later.

If you’re sleeping in his room (let’s face it, his bed is likely much more comfortable than the one in Ramshackle) he gathers all the pillows he can and makes it as comfortable as possible for you if you need support for your back or joints.

Keeps a stock of whatever you could possibly need right in his room. And if he doesn’t have it, he’s already off to get it for you.

He’s not really a very physically affectionate person, but he will massage you if you’re in pain, and rub your back or run his fingers along your scalp if you’re tired or even while you’re asleep.

It’s acts of service for him. Maybe he’s so used to serving the Asim family that it’s just become second nature, but part of him truly wants to serve you and do whatever it is you ask of him, and he wants to do things for you of his own accord as well. Just make sure to show him you love him back.

Vil Schoenheit

Always treats you like royalty. He personally goes to get you whatever you want, medicines, food, anything.

Has a night where he sits you down and just doesn’t let you move around or exert yourself, just lightly massages you with fragrant oils to release any tension you have in your body, and hopefully release some of your back and joint pain temporarily. Washes your hair with only the best stuff, gives you a facial, anything for you. Not to make you more beautiful (although its not like his treatment makes you uglier) but he does it to pamper you and show his affection through giving you attention like this, sharing his coveted beauty products and only focusing on you.

Lets you get as much beauty sleep as you need, yes, even if it’s during class. If you’re sleepy and your head starts to drop he will give a horrendous death glare to anyone who even looks like they want to disturb you. And yes, he’s usually incredibly strict about paying attention in class and excelling academically, but you’re a special case to him. He wants to spoil you.

Always is the one to volunteer to help you out of PE class (or any class) when you need to stop from exhaustion or pain. He’ll sit with you, far away from everyone else, and let you do what you want to do instead. You wanna take a break and eat? Sure. You wanna go back to the dorm for a bit and sleep? Of course. It’s whatever you want.

Vil doesn’t express the extent of his love for you through his words, rather his actions. He’d much rather show you how much he cares, instead of using words that hold no meaning without acts of love to prove it. It means more to him, and words are so limited anyway. So even if he’s not telling you every day outright that he loves you, just make sure you notice how he shows he loves you in everything he does.
