Sorry I keep crawling into your inbox with these head canons, but CEO X Secretary has me in a choke hold (just same as Noah and those stupid Bambi eyes). ANYWAYS ~

Your relationship is finally established, Noah couldn't be happier. Things seem to be going well, business is running smoothly until one day just as you get home, you get a vertigo attack which unfortunately turns into the worst migraine. The vertigo and migraines were a normal thing but when they happened at the same time well you're pretty useless. So you send a text to the other secretaries, struggling against the glare of your screen despite it being on the lowest setting, to cover you for the day and just put your phone to vibrate and pass out on your couch.

Here's the thing, you forgot to tell Noah, whom upon arriving and not seeing you there with his coffee and agenda for the day ready to bully him. He tries to call only for it to go to voicemail which you never do since he can always reach you. The other assistants that are covering tell him that you weren't feeling well which should have calmed him down.

Only instead, he's a menace to everyone in the building, even the janitor is catching his wrath. When you finally awaken feeling mostly human, but still shaky, you call your desk wanting to talk to one of the secretaries covering and the one thar answers nearly cries tears of joy at hearing your voice.

But before you can ask what the hell is happening, Noah has snatched the phone away and is demanding what's wrong. Apparently he's been in turmoil thinking you're suddenly dying of a stab wound, had been kidnapped or some other ridiculous scenario like a drama queen. You wait for him to finish his rant about not trusting him enough to tell him, you explain while your head is pounding what's wrong and the line goes dead before you can finish your next sentence.

You sigh imagining he's throwing another tantrum and get ready to go back to sleep only for him to be knocking on your door like the FEDS. Your head is pounding again as your phone vibrates and you just barely manage to open the door before he tears it off it's hinges. You want to tell him that he's being ridiculous, but your head is hurting so bad you can feel it in your teeth and the room is spinning.

"... Do you need to sit down?" He's not ranting anymore, clearly distressed over your condition and doesn't wait for your answer before he's carrying you inside.

You're touched by how much he cares, but he will absolutely not hear you tell him that he's being over dramatic. After babying you the entire night, you feel right as rain the next morning and all the assistants beg you to never get sick again.

Noah of course acts like he didn't have a level 10 tantrum the day before.

Another thought for Noah X Secretary.

When he has important events to go to and she sees what he's going to wear and makes him change. He wants to argue with her, but she's standing there in his loft apartment glaring at him in that way that has him pouting and complying. Then thinking he's so smart and sneaky, tells her that she has to come with him and she *has* to wear something he picked.

He may have underestimated how gorgeous she looks in that velvet lavender gown. Noah is struggling to keep pay attention to any investor who wants to speak to him and nearly breaks his drink glass when someone mentions how having such a "woman like her" would definitely do them good.

Asks her to dance and she notices how upset he is and instead of saying anything just rests her head on his chest for a brief moment which makes him feel a little more happy than he'd like to admit.

When the event is finally over and he's taken her home, he's expecting another sassy remark only for her to pull him down and kiss his cheek.

"See you in the morning boss man," she'll wink about to slink away into her apartment only for him to grab her and kiss her the way he'd been wanting to for the longest.

For once she's speechless as he tells her goodnight and walks back to his car. The next morning he's hoping for her to be nervous around him the way she was when they first met or just subdued, but instead she's the same as ever, riling him up with those snappy remarks that have him getting closer to losing it.

The thing is, she knows exactly what she's doing and just can't wait for him to break.

OKAY BUT IMAGINE reader starts ignoring him and he is OFFENDED because reader just knows it'll set him off. Leaving the area when he gets there, acting as if nothing had happened, playing dumb when someone flirts with you

THIS MAN IS A TICKING TIME BOMB

SO WHAT DOES HE DO? Calls you into his office for an urgent meeting

"Yes Noah-"

"Cut the bullshit Y/N, this ends today" oh...he was DONE done. He gets up from his seat and walks to you but you stay in place. He hated that, he hated just how much you could stand against him and not blink an eye. The way he stared down into your soul and the way you stared right back into his own

"...so....I'm being fired?"

"Fired? oh no, no....." he pulls you close to him by your waist and whispered against your lips "more of a....promotion..."
