SPOILERS FOR EP 12 of Crash Course in Romance
my idiot babies trying to find a way to talk to each other after that "fight" is so sweet. they want to tread lightly and give each other space but they miss each other too!
OMG YES SOMEONE RECOGNISED THIS ASSISTANT. surprise surprise it is who we suspected all along.
i wish sunjae would just throw a fit and fight his mother. come on!
seo geon-hu so damn sweet for actually admitting he took hae-e to the ice rink because he wanted to show off.
YAH you bitchass ji dong-hui, keep your hands off chiyeol's phone.
nooo sunjae's pain is breaking my heart.
CHOI CHIYEOL, THE MAN YOU ARE! ahh they're so cute. and i'm really glad they compared the chat windows and didn't let that dumb misunderstanding grow (you know how it's like in the western shows).
ohho mr. assistant trying to be extra sweet. i don't trust you one bit. i don't want them going on a yacht together. but chiyeol's "thank you, oppa" was very funny xD
ugh teenagers are so stupid, just give her the present instead of this incriminating evidence of cheating. sunjaeeeee D:
yeongju and jaewoo does feel forced. sad that loneliness made yeongju put herself in this awkward position.
lmao haeng-seon wanted to skedaddle because she wasn't sure where the night would lead them but the moment he said "stay with me", my girl just went for it. I LOVE HER. and tbh it wasn't even a deep wound or anything but these absolute LOSERS IN LOVE. IDIOTS.
oh no sunjae and hae-e realising they've been fucked over.
very glad hui-jae talked, now i just need sunjae to utterly defy his mother as well.

Also, did someone else find very weird the way the authors have been handling the Hae E - Geon Ho situation? I am sorry, but what was that?

ccir ep 12
warning: crash course in romance spoilers
i will say i am quite pleased that the show seems to not drag out miscommunications for longer than necessary unlike in some other kdramas. for example, chi yeol and haeng-seon apologizing to each other after their fight relatively quickly (within the span of the episode which is like light speed in kdrama land time lol); also chi yeol and haeng-seon comparing their text messages to see that he really didn't get her text; hui-jae speaking up in court instead of listening to his mom; even geon-hu confessing to hae-e and saying how he wanted to show her he was good at something too (instead of it developing into a godforsaken angsty love triangle where the two love interests keep pining and being jealous without saying anything to the girl - though sun jae has much bigger things to worry about now unfortunately thanks to his mom); and in the preview for ep 13 it seems that we see chi-yeol talking to mr ji about his behavior and being straight about how he deceived him, pretty soon after mr ji's murderous identity has been officially revealed (very curious to see how that plays out given the end of ep 12, you better not touch haeng-seon!!)

First Line Ask Game! Rules: List the first lines of the last ten stories you published (or works in progress if you’re feeling brave lol). See if you or others notice any patterns!
Oh snap. Last 10 published? Here. We. GO.
1. Stick & Poke (Louigan, e, WIP, 5/8, tattoo parlor/flower shop AU)
The buzz of the tattoo gun sings. A familiar hum that elicits a shiver of excitement at the base of her spine.
2. upon a dream (Reylo, e, 1/1, dead dove/non con, dark fairytale)
He came to her at night.
The room was dark. Cold. Thick stones unable to keep out the chill of the winter despite the fire burning low in the grate.
3. Stubborn Follies (Reylo, e, 12/12, regency)
It was, of course, well understood that the duty of a well-bred lady once she came of age was to secure a most advantageous match. After all, this was her sole purpose. Not only for her family but for herself. Marriage was the manner in which she ensured her future. For otherwise, she risked the term dreaded by debutants the world over: spinster. Old maid. A burden on her family and a social pariah.
4. Crash (Reylo, e, 1/1, wounded enemies to lovers)
It’s been 47 hours when Rey finally hears the creak of the old weathered deck floorboards just outside. She’d been dozing in the sagging armchair by the fire, worn and lumpy. She was unable to resign herself to the bedroom. Not when he was still out there. But her eyes itch with tiredness. Heavy and half-lidded. She must have dropped off a while ago because there’s a pained crick in her neck when she stumbles to her feet to investigate the noise.
5. Home to You (Reylo, e, 10/10, holiday second chance romance, social media fic)
It’s been seven years since Ben has been back in his hometown. Seven long years. And in that time, he’s been busy. Up to his eyeballs in work actually.
First Order Corp was a project he’d started back in grad school with his mentor, Anthony Snoke. And now? Now its net worth is upwards of $68 billion dollars.
6. Damned (Reylo, e, 1/1, Halloween spooky/dead dove/dub con/stepcest)
Her breath caught in her lungs. Her palms were sweating, skin prickling in alarm. Every hair along her body seemed to stand on end, goosebumps crawling up her arms.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
They weren’t even supposed to be here.
7. Shower (Reylo, e, 1/1, micro, best friend’s older bro AU)
His breath is hot at her shoulder.
Rey’s back presses firmly to the glass as Ben’s hands tangle with hers, threading his fingers with her own as his body cages her in.
8. Vinyl (Reylo, e, 1/1, micro, record shop AU)
The shop bell dinged when he opened the door.
It was a dingy little hole in the wall record shop. Scratched records hung from the ceiling, graffitied and splattered with inky paints. There was something vibrant and visceral about the place. The music pumped through old amps around the room, the bass line and kick drum thrumming through his veins.
9. Party (Reylo, e, 1/1, micro, rivals to lovers office AU)
His eyes burn through her across the room. Twin black embers burning low in the dim lights of the vast hall.
The music echoes, the beat of the bass pulsing along with the rhythm of her heart. She feels it just beneath her ribs fluttering like a caged bird, clawing it’s way out.
10. Popcorn (Reylo, t, 1/1, micro, movie theater AU)
“Did Poe text you?”
“Yea. He can’t make it. Finn’s car is on the fritz so he had to pick him up.”
“Right.”
“What about Rose?”
“Didn’t Hux text you? Apparently her sister came into town last minute so now they’ve got to bail and hang with her.”
“Oh. Yea. Yup.”
Silence. Awkward, tension filled silence.
“Should we just—“
“Maybe we should—“
They both start talking at the same time and they laugh awkwardly. Rey shifts from foot to foot. Her and Ben have been part of the same group of friends for five years now. Ever since college. And as of two years ago they stopped hanging out alone.
Lord help us. I see lots of patterns including enemies and a certain level of thirst. What do y’all notice?

*SPECIAL* Crash Course in Romance Episode 16 Review (Finale)
You and I, The Union of Two Universes
Scenes that I can particularly relate to:
1. Hae-e’s aspiration to go to Japan reminds me of myself. I haven’t been there yet, by the way.
2. Su-a’s mother went grocery shopping, and I love grocery shopping, not just for groceries but for general shopping too. I am an impulsive buyer. Hay. But the people talking behind her back about her affair video seem so bad. I don’t want to experience that in the future. Well, I guess everyone has the possibility of being tempted to opt for a third party, right? Just like her husband so brazen. I remember being paranoid before, back in 2020, when I had my first boyfriend, who’s so yucky whenever the memories flash back to me. A week after our breakup, he already found a new girl, who is his colleague. Yuck. What a shame The date when we broke up was May 7, 2020. I remember all of it because what he did is so wrong. I even attempted suicide, but luckily I did not. I can finally breathe properly after writing this stuff.
3. The reason I am suicidal is that I have major depression and also bipolar disorder. I tend to remember all the struggles ever since I was born.
4. I feel like I also have ADHD, but this might not be true since this is undiagnosed.
5. I used to drink highly caffeinated energy drinks and take slimming pills because I felt like whenever I diet, it had no effect. Or just a yo-yo effect.
6. Also, I already forgave my mom, who abandoned me since I was two years old.
7. Even someone who has a psychosocial disability can truly love and be loved as long as the feelings are genuine.
8. Idk, it’s weird, but Choi Chi-yeol reminds me of someone from 2018. When I was reviewing for CPALE. 😭😂His love for Hang-seon is undoubtedly sweet and cute. He even bought an expensive gold ring with a diamond on it in advance! But Hang-seon bought an 18K gold ring, too! (They planned to get married after Hang-seon completed his sports instructor certification.) So kawaii/cute! 😭💗
9. Two years later, Chi-yeol has been passionately teaching at his respective academy. I adore him. All in all, the series is a heartwarming and relatable portrayal of the struggles and joys of modern-day relationships. The characters are complex and realistic, and the storylines explore a wide range of emotions and trauma.
10. One of the best things about the show is how it shows family relationships, especially the one between Nam and her brother.Their bond is both heartwarming and complicated, with moments of humor and emotions that add depth to their characters.
11. The romantic storyline between Nam and Choi is also a highlight of the series. Their relationship is built on a strong foundation of friendship and mutual respect, and their journey towards finally confessing their feelings to each other is both sweet and satisfying.
12. The show also explores the idea of finding out who you are and who you want to be, especially through the character of Hae-e.Her decision to leave for Japan and live with her real mother is a poignant reminder of the challenges of growing up and finding one’s place in the world.
13. Also, the show shows how important communication is in all kinds of relationships, whether between siblings, friends, or lovers.
14. The characters learn to open up to each other, express their emotions, and work through their conflicts, leading to more meaningful connections with each other.
15. Those are my thoughts/review. I hope you like ‘em!

Tumblr media
Chapter 12
Following Clint back down to his apartment was somehow the most terrifying and most exciting thing you’d ever done.  You had a whole storm of conflicting emotions running through you that were all amplified and mixed thanks to the pregnancy.  Clint kept his hand on your shoulder and it felt both comforting and a little like you were being led down to your imminent destruction.
You had finally admitted to Clint that you were falling in love with him and Natasha and rather than telling you that they had no room for anyone else outside of casual hookups, he’d told you they’d felt the same way.  So as you walked down you weren’t worried about her rejecting you. Thanks to Clint, you knew that Natasha was going to take the news of your feelings well.  What you were worried about was that with the baby on the way it was too much pressure.  They were already an established couple.  An established couple who were about to be parents.  Adding a new girlfriend to that, even if it was their best friend and the person carrying the baby for them - it was a lot.  There was a lot that could go wrong and in that ‘big horrible explosion with body parts flying everywhere’ way.
When you went into the apartment, Natasha glanced up from the couch with a look on her face that seemed to cover pity, concern, and expectancy.  You weren’t even sure how she could manage to convey so many things in just one look, especially when she was usually so good at hiding those feelings.  Then again, maybe you were just projecting.
“Hey,” she said.  “He talked you down?”
“Yeah,” you admitted, taking a seat and grabbing a piece of pizza.  “He did.”
“You gonna tell me what was wrong?”  She asked.
You looked at Clint for help and he laughed and flopped down on the couch beside Natasha and slung his arm around her shoulder.  “Oh, Nat,” he said playfully.  “You’re gonna love this.  Our buddy over there has been having some feelings.  You know… of the romantic kind?”
Natasha's mouth dropped open and a huge smile crossed her features.  “With us?”
“Yes with you,” you said.  “Who do you think?”
Natasha pounced on you and her lips crashed into yours.  You froze startled for a moment, your eyes wide and your arms held out awkwardly.  When your brain caught up to what was happening, you wrapped your arms around her and melted into her.  She kissed you deeply and lovingly but with a little bit of frantic excitement that you couldn’t quite keep up with.  You broke the kiss with a gasp and started laughing.  “Nat, you're crushing the baby.”
She pulled back laughing and leaned down and kissed your stomach.  “Sorry, little one,” she whispered.  “Mommy got a little excited.”
“So is that a yes then, Nat?”  Clint asked.  “You want a girlfriend officially?”
“Yes,” Natasha said.  “Of course I do.”
You smiled and leaned in, nosing her neck.  You wanted to just sit here and enjoy the fact that after all this time you were in an actual relationship with Clint and Natasha.  It wasn’t as easy as that though.  There was a child involved.  Anything the three of you did would affect that baby too.
“How are we going to do this?”  You asked.   “I mean… should I move back out?  Do we date?  What about the baby?”
Natasha sat back and huffed, blowing a stray lock of hair off her face.  “Well,” she said.  “Clint and I didn’t date.”
“No?”  You asked.
“Nah,” Clint said, shaking his head.  “We just hung out all the time and then hooked up a lot and then we realized that we were each other’s favorite people.”
“Kinda like we have been,” you said.
“Exactly like we have been,” Clint said. “So I don’t know that anything needs to change except, we can get a really big bed and squish together in it.”
“And -?” you pointed at your stomach.
“Okay, that’s a big ‘and’,” Clint said.
“But the first question is, do you want to be a parent?  Or even to do this,” Natasha said, gesturing between the three of you.  “If we are parents?”
“I don’t know,” you said.  “I think it was something I thought would happen but I’ve barely been seeing anyone.  And since the surrogacy, no one, so it’s not been a pressing issue.  I just… if we’re living together and it doesn’t work out, I’ll be attached to them and vice versa, and then if we don’t work out, then what?”
“Oh, dorogáya,” Natasha soothed.  “All families run the risk of being broken up.  I was adopted by a group that trained little girls to be assassins.  Clint’s parents were killed in a car accident and he was raised in the circus.  People get divorced.  I think for now we need to just worry about us.  When they join us, we can decide what role you’re comfortable with and work it out then.  But chances are, if we are together you will be a mom.”
You nodded and chewed the inside of your cheek.  “What if the breakup is messy and I am a mom?”  You asked.  “I already signed away all my rights to this baby.”
“Babe,” Clint said.  “I promise we can sign anything you want after the baby comes if you’re worried we’d ever hurt you like that.”
“I don’t think you would,” you said, frowning.  “But I know you never really thought that I’d try and keep them when I offered to be a surrogate and I still signed the paperwork.”
Natasha rubbed your thigh.  “I love how worried you are about any of us getting hurt,” she said.  “Clint and I, we could be friends with people.  But when it came to romance, we just blew it up every time.  With each other though?  It’s just us.  We didn’t try to force it.  We knew our limitations.  Yeah, we have our moments but we’re friends first.  That’s how I feel about you too.”
You smiled and cuddled up next to her.  “Okay.  I guess we just… do it.”
“That’s what she said,” Clint teased.
“Then,” you continued, trying not to laugh.  “When things look serious we work out the logistics of one kid with three parental figures.”
“Sounds like a plan to me,” Natasha said.
“Now,” Clint said, reaching around Natasha to play with your hair.  “You walked off in a huff before because you were very, very horny.  I’ve got good news for you.  You now have both a boyfriend and a girlfriend who are here and willing to take on every little kink of yours.”
You leaned into his hand and closed your eyes.  Just like that, your whole body felt like a live wire again.  You hummed and bit your bottom lip.  “Yes, please.  Thank you.”
“So polite,” Natasha teased.  “Why don’t you go get comfortable in bed and we’ll take good care of you.”
You got up and they quickly followed after you.  Inside your mind, a veritable porn collection was playing with all the different possible ways Clint and Natasha could fuck you in your present state.  You crawled up on the bed and they flanked you, Clint quickly pulling your shirt up over your head, while Natasha pulled down your maternity sweats.  He started to kiss you hungrily as Natasha removed your panties and ducked her head down between your legs.  As her tongue ran up your folds your whole body shivered and you moaned softly into Clint’s lips.
He broke the kiss and as you leaned back and arched your back, he kissed down your neck to your breasts.  A low moan escaped your lips as Natasha lapped greedily at your cunt and Clint sucked on one of your breasts.  With the pregnancy and the buzz of excitement from the start of something new, you were over sensitive and soaking wet.  Natasha collected up the arousal as it dripped from you.  It soaked your folds and ran down the inside of your thighs, smearing on your skin.
Clint sucked a patch of skin just at the base of your breast hard enough to bruise.  You gasped and bucked your hips.  Even as pleasure surged through you, making your body buzz and your muscles clench, your back began to ache due to the pressure on it.
“I need to move,” you half-moaned/half-panted.
They both pulled back, giving you room to change position.  You rolled onto your side.  Clint began to rub your cunt as Natasha quickly shed her clothes.  When she was naked she lifted your legged and scissored her legs around you and began to grind her pussy against yours.  The rub of her soaking cunt against yours maintained that slow buzz through you, keeping you right on edge without pushing you over.  A sheen of sweat clung to your skin and you whimpered needily, squeezing and massaging your breasts in an attempt to add more to the sensation.
Clint watched you both as he slowly removed your clothes.  When he was fully naked and you weren’t sure you could take any more of the frantic but drawn-out teasing, Natasha pulled away from you and Clint gave your ass swat.  “Think you can do hands and knees?” He asked.
You nodded, still breathing heavily, and got onto your hands and knees.  Clint moved up behind you and began to tease the head of his cock up and down your folds.  Natasha moved in front of you, laying back with her legs spread, the thatch of red hair on her pussy glistening.
You dropped your head and sucked hungrily on her cunt and as the tart and musky flavor filled your mouth, Clint thrust hard into you from behind.
The sound of your moans was muffled by Natasha’s cunt, but even as Clint pounded into you as behind, you stayed focused on Natasha.  You thrust two fingers inside her and curled them, stroking her internal walls and drawing out more of her wet.  The pads of your fingers touched down on the spongy spot inside her and she cried out loudly and bucked up against your face.  Behind you, Clint wrapped an arm around your waist and began to rub your clit as he fucked you.  You moaned louder and doubled down on Natasha, digging your fingers into her g-spot and dragging them over it.  As Natasha got louder and louder so did you and Clint, until the room was filled with the sounds of your moans and cries.
Natasha came first, her whole body curving of the mattress as she cried out and gushed on your face.  You relaxed, collapsing down on Natasha’s stomach as the last of her orgasm ran through her.  She ran her fingers through your hair and you gave yourself to Clint.
“Fuck! Yes!”  You cried as your orgasm hit, and all your muscles clenched at once.  Clint’s hips began to stutter but he kept fucking you through your orgasm as he held you in place.  With a grunt, he held you in place and came inside you.
When he slipped out of you, you rolled onto your side and sighed happily, finally all your cravings having been sated.  “That’s what I needed.”
Clint and Natasha spooned you from each side and kissed your neck.  “Trust me, there’s plenty more where that came from,” Clint teased.

Two Days Later Jeju Island – Seogwipo South Korea
When Taehyung first came to, he felt warmth blanketing his entire body. Every so often, a gentle brush of cool air passed over him. His limbs ached and it felt like a stone was being pressed against his chest. Breathing was a seemingly impossible task. When he could breathe, the sensation of phantom glass fragments scraped along the insides of his lungs. Coughing was a regular occurrence. Through said coughing fit was how he was able to pull himself back to consciousness.
For a moment, he believed he had, in fact, died. There was a part of him that even accepted it. But he wouldn’t have accepted it with a smile, of that he was most certain.
There were people waiting for him; people he would potentially be leaving behind.
The faces of his brothers and of the woman he loved yanked him from the abyss.
An old man sat next to him, moving a fan slowly over his body. Sweat seemed to cover him from head to toe and there was a large basin of ice beside him. Again, Taehyung coughed and tried to sit up. But the old man placed a hand on his shoulder, gently urging him to lie back down on the futon. What energy he managed to muster quickly slithered out of him, the weight of exhaustion overwhelming him all over again.
Had he actually died?
“Don’t make such a fuss,” said the old man.
The stranger’s skin was bronze from being out in the sun, his worn and wrinkled hands and face gave testimony to the life he lived. His hair was a salt and pepper gray, frazzled from being whipped around in the ocean breeze just outside. Despite his seemingly austere appearance and gruff tone, his dark eyes were gentle as he continued to move the fan back and forth over Taehyung’s prone form.
Taehyung squinted slowly, the light peeling in from the window almost blinding him. He tried to lift his arm to shield his eyes, but found it more difficult than he’d anticipated. Sensing his distress, the old man shifted so his small frame could block as much of the light as he could.
“Where am I?”
The question croaked from Taehyung’s throat, surprising him. Attempting to swallow, he mentally reeled at how terrible he sounded.
He heard the man scoff, a sympathetic smirk pulling at his thin lips. “My home,” he replied simply, resting the fan on his knee, “you’ve got the devil’s luck, young man.”
Taehyung tried to smile but realized it probably looked like a grimace. “You don’t know the half of it, Oroshin.”
He watched the man’s smile widen a measure. “You’re young, but I see you still have some manners.”
Again, he attempted to sit up and failed. The old man seemed to take pity on him, reaching out with his thin arms to help him. When he was up, Taehyung winced at the tight feeling around his chest. He rubbed at it gingerly as the elder pressed a cold compress to his temple. Willing himself not to shrink back at the sudden cold, his eyes wandered around the abode to serve as a distraction.
He could tell that it was the home of a local fisherman. Quaint, humble and quiet; save for the crashing of waves along what he could only assume was the beach nearby. The salt was prevalent in the air, seeping in through what cracks existed in the house. Even though he could feel the cold wind, the floor was warm beneath him.
“Did you save me?”
Dipping the cloth into the ice water, he wrung it out and pressed it back to Taehyung’s head. “The gods saved you, my boy. You were already washed up on the shore when I stumbled across you.” He watched his eyes shifting to his shoulder and Taehyung reached up to touch the dressings over his injury. “I managed to purge the toxins out of you.”
His eyes narrowed. So it was poison, he thought angrily, shifting his gaze to the space between his knees, Lee Jooheon, you son of a bitch…
Taehyung lifted his eyes to meet the old man’s. “How long have I been out?”
“Couple of days now. The worst of it passed yesterday.”
Even though he still ached all over, Taehyung quickly shifted to sit on his knees, bowing his head low to the old man. “I’m in your debt, Oroshin.”
“Nonsense. It’s human nature to help those in need.”
Taehyung raised his head. “It’s a cruel world we live in now. Your kindness is rare in it.”
“Your view of the world is too narrow, my boy.” The old man lifted the fan and smacked Taehyung’s wrist with it. “Now enough of this. Sit comfortably.”
He did as he was told, sitting with his legs crossed in a more comfortable position. “Oroshin, I hate to burden you further, but would you mind taking me into town? I need to get back to Seoul as soon as possible.”
For an uncomfortably long moment, the old man peered at Taehyung – as if gauging what his motive was. But there was only one thing on his mind. He needed to get back to his brothers and warn them of the danger that was coming. There would still be time for them to find Eden and return her to the place she belonged.
…at Jungkook’s side.
Jooheon’s words slammed through his body like a wrecking ball, causing him to visibly shudder. Taehyung couldn’t believe it now that he was lucid. How had Jungkook managed to hide such a huge secret from them all? Then again, they’d all been so busy anticipating the moves of the Jade Fangs that a lot of things could have gone amiss. Something as small as eloping could easily be overlooked.
That didn’t mean he was any less salty about it.
When I get back, he and I are gonna have a little chat…
“Well,” cut the old man’s words through his thoughts, “it’s a good thing this washed up with you then.” He reached into a nearby drawer and pulled out Taehyung’s wallet.
He bowed as he took it from him, opening to see the paper money was worthless. So were his cards. But his ID was still intact. That was the only thing that mattered. If he could prove who he was, getting money would be easy. He peered at the old man expectantly who raised his brows at him.
“I’m assuming my phone didn’t make it?” The elder shook his head and Taehyung sighed. Of course it wouldn’t have made it. That would have been the luckiest break he could get outside of being alive. “I’ll just have to buy another one.”
“Eat something and then I’ll take you to town. You can’t function on an empty stomach.”
Taehyung flashed him his best boxy smile despite the agony he continued to feel. “Thank you, Oroshin.”
After filling his stomach with three full helpings of rice, soup, and freshly caught fish, he thanked the old man profusely for his kindness. When he asked his name, the elder simply smiled and told him to come back when all his business was taken care of. Taehyung promised he would return to repay him for saving his life.
There wasn’t much time to waste. He needed to procure funds to buy a plane ticket back to Seoul. He would worry about a phone once he landed safely. Besides, Taehyung didn’t think he could handle the slew of missed calls and voicemails demanding to know of his whereabouts. He went on blind faith that everything was okay; that his brothers were able to find something out on their end since it was obvious that his own trail was a perfectly placed trap.
The flight back to Seoul was only an hour, but he felt like time crawled at an agonizingly slow pace. The time he had alone on the plane was enough to cause Taehyung to fester in his own guilt. He was angry at himself for falling for such a setup, and he was even angrier that he hadn’t seen it for what it was.
Maybe Hyungwon was right, he thought bitterly, narrowing his eyes as he stared out the window, we’ve gotten fucking soft.
But he stood by what he said. This wouldn’t have been a problem had they taken the Jade Fangs out five years ago. Sacrifices be damned. At least they could avoid the headache inducing bullshit they were suffering right now.
He replayed the scene on Dragon’s Head Cliff repeatedly. No matter how many times he thought about it, Taehyung’s conclusion was the same every single time.
…if I hadn’t dodged, whatever came at me would have hit me straight on. He frowned. They were really trying to kill me.
The thought left a bitter taste in his mouth. Curling his hands into fists on the arm rests, he closed his eyes – attempting to stave off an oncoming migraine.
They would be dealt with.
They would all be dealt with.
Taehyung wouldn’t rest until he made sure of it.
Seoul - Cheongdam; Gangnam District South Korea
As soon as he landed in Seoul, he purchased a phone at one of the stores in the airport, activating it on the spot. There were several voicemails and he rolled his eyes. He didn’t have time to listen to them. Now that Taehyung could confidently say he’d met the Reaper at the Gates of the Underworld and walked away, the only person he wanted to see was the woman carrying his child. He had to make sure that he wasn’t dreaming; still sleeping from the effects of the poison.
Taehyung needed just a little more reassurance that he wasn’t dead. That he wasn’t already in Hell.
Hailing a cab, he gave instructions for the driver to take him to Raelyn’s hospital. The woman was so stubborn, insistent on continuing to work as her belly continued to swell with the life in her. Taehyung told her constantly that she didn’t need to work anymore, especially while she was with child. But she was hellbent on having her way and who was he to deny her the freedom to do as she pleased?
He’d have been a fool to try.
Taehyung quickly paid the cab driver, thanking him for getting him to his destination so quickly. He raced through the parking lot, up the steps and just barely clipped his shoulders in his impatience in waiting for the sliding doors to open wide enough to give him entrance. One of Raelyn’s co-workers that he recognized spotted him, her expression forming into shock before melting to discomfort almost immediately. He skidded to a halt in front of her, blocking her path as she seemed to mentally prepare herself to flee.
“Eunsoo-ssi,” he huffed, attempting to catch his breath, “where’s Raelyn?”
She averted her eyes, shrinking back from him as he took a step toward her. Canting his head slightly, he couldn’t hide the confusion on his face. She’d never treated him like this before. In fact, he remembered her playfully doting on him like she would a younger brother. This sudden standoffishness seemed a little unwarranted.
“She…” Eunsoo paused, taking a breath, before lifting her face to meet his gaze. Her brows were furrowed harshly and he could swear that her eyes looked glassier than they had just a few seconds ago. “She’s at the funeral hall.”
Taehyung frowned. “Why?”
“I’m sorry, I have to finish my rounds.”
Eunsoo quickly bowed, side-stepping him to disappear around the corner to the next hall. His gaze followed her as he was left in the main lobby alone.
What the hell is going on? he thought as he made his way toward the elevators. Pressing the button to give him entrance, he pressed the button that led to the mortuary floor where funeral services were typically held. Did something happen to one of their co-workers?
It didn’t take him long to make it to the funeral hall. Various other families were dressed in their traditional mourning attire and rows of wreaths with white carnations lined the walls. White ribbons hung from them, traditional hangul printed on them with the names of the deceased. He barely took notice of them, his eyes frantically searching for any sign of Raelyn.
The weight of sorrow that filled the hall was palpable, making the uncomfortable feeling welling up in his chest almost unbearable. He couldn’t place his finger on it, but Taehyung swore that a dark cloud of dread was hanging over him. He quickly shook his head, attempting to chase the nagging voices from his mind.
This was crazy. He needed to get his head together.
Just as he took another step, he stopped as someone dashed out of one of the rooms. He blinked when he realized the woman dressed in a traditional white mourning garb was Jimin’s older sister. She covered her mouth, smothering a sob, and Taehyung could only blink when she paused just seconds before colliding into him. It seemed to take her a moment to recognize who he was, as it did him for her. Her face was puffy and swollen from all the crying she’d done.
“N-Noona,” Taehyung stammered out, an icy sensation slithering down his spine, “what are you doing here?”
Her bottom lip quivered uncontrollably, her hands reaching out to grasp at the sleeves of his jacket. “Oh, Taehyung-ah,” she choked out, curling her fingers into his arms, “Jimin-ie…he…he…”
Slowly, he craned his neck to peer at the three wreaths lining the walls just outside the room she’d vacated from. He read the names on each of the ribbons draped over the wreaths. Taehyung’s heart froze for half a second before slamming viciously against his chest.
“No way,” he murmured, looking back at Jimin’s sister, “…Noona.”
Instead of answering him, he watched her collapse to her knees – a wailing sound bursting from her. Taehyung heard his very soul shattering as he pivoted on his heels, his legs carrying him into the mourning chamber.
It was crowded, bodies shuffling around as people cried or whispered among themselves. Taehyung didn’t bother removing his shoes as he stepped up onto the small landing. He saw Raelyn out of the corner of his eye. She was the first one to spot him, making her way toward him. But instead of relishing in the comfort of her embrace, the very thing he had so desperately been seeking out since he’d woken up, Taehyung stepped just out of her reach. His eyes focused on the three portraits situated on the table where various foods and flowers were placed.
“Taehyung-ah.” Seokjin called to him, but his voice sounded muffled from the incessant buzzing in his ears. He heard him say his name again and he still couldn’t hear it well.
All he could focus on were the smiling faces of Jungkook, Eden, and Jimin looking back at him from the black frames encasing their visages.
As he took another step, he saw someone move to step in his path – blocking his view of the pictures. When he lifted his eyes, he was now staring into Hoseok’s stern face.
“Where have you been?”
Taehyung continued to stare at Hoseok, blinking slowly as his mind attempted to catch up. He opened his mouth to speak and found he couldn’t find the words.
“We thought you were dead.”
The phrase shook Taehyung; rattling his bones. He visibly flinched, took a breath, then glared up at his older brother.
“Hyung,” he finally managed to say, his voice dropping a full octave, “what is this?” Raising a hand, he pointed to the side of him and gave a wide flourish to the entire scene surrounding them. “What the fuck is this?”
A hand fell on his arm and he felt Raelyn’s swollen belly pressed against his side. She buried her face into the curve of his shoulder, suppressing a sob as she pulled him close. His body felt stiff, like he’d turned into a marble statue. This was all some joke. It had to be. There was no way that any of this was real.
“How?”
“The Jade Fangs were responsible,” cut in Seokjin.
Taehyung’s eyes narrowed. “There’s no way that—”
Yoongi sighed gently. “You told us her location, Taehyung-ah.”
It was like someone dumped a bucket of ice water over his body.
“W-What?” That was impossible. He hadn’t been able to obtain that information. “I didn’t—”
“We realize that now,” added Namjoon. When Taehyung glanced at him, he nearly hiccupped at the dark expression painted over his brother’s face. “They texted us from your phone. It was all a setup from the start.”
Again, silence filled the small space around them save for the members of Jimin’s family who came, as well as friends.
“They’re gone, Taehyung-ah.”
Twisting his face to look back at Hoseok, he noticed his other brothers crowding around him in a semicircle. It wasn’t until his vision went out of focus that Taehyung realized he was now crying.
“What?” He swallowed the lump in his throat. “What do—”
Hoseok’s face softened, his brows furrowing before he closed his eyes. “They’re gone.”
The sun slowly set over Seoul’s cityscape. Lights blinked with life in succession, illuminating the darkness. Taehyung listlessly stared out over the vast expanse while standing on the hospital’s rooftop, lips puckered out while indulging on a sucker. He didn’t remember running from the mourning chamber. He didn’t remember banging his knee on the steps as he tripped over his own feet upon his ascent.
No one chased after him. They knew better. They knew he would likely implode if they did.
Taehyung didn’t stay for the cremation process. He would have thrown himself into the flames right along with them. Selfish? Of course he was. He was man enough to admit that all he could see was red.
Pulling out his phone, he crushed the candy between his teeth. Scrolling through the numerous voicemails left by Hoseok, he stopped until he saw Jimin’s name. His thumb hovered over his name, trembling, before he pressed down on the screen.
It automatically played the message on speaker mode.
“Ya, Kim Taehyung,” came Jimin’s voice from the receiver.
Taehyung’s brows furrowed, hearing the pained chuckle that followed.
“…you son of a bitch. How could you just take off for the gates of the Underworld alone? Huh?”
His grip tightened on the phone, feeling his arm shaking from the force of his hold. There was an uncomfortable stretch of silence before he heard Jimin speak again.
“Don’t even think about stirring up a bunch of shit without me. Jungkook and I will be there soon.”
Without any warning, Taehyung fell to his knees. The phone fell with a clatter beside him as his hands gripped onto the roof’s railing. His whole body shook, his silent sobs rattling through him. The tears that streamed from his face were hot and thick. He swore he could feel his own blood leaking from his eyes.
Jungkook.
Jimin.
Eden.
They were gone.
Mercilessly ripped away from the life they more than deserved to live.
Someone had to answer for this.
Someone was going to answer for this.
“I’ll make them pay,” he growled, glaring at the landscape as he ground his teeth together, “I swear to your God, Jimin-ah…”
I’ll fucking kill them all.

First half of 2020 tv shows/dramas completed
SO apparently, my original blog “may contain sensitive media” (how my original blog contains them, I have no idea because I don’t think I have ever written nor posted anything that is inappropriate) so here I am, making a new one even though there are just so so many thoughts I poured in that blog since the beginning of 2018.
I wish I could put all of the contents from there here. But since I don’t know how to do that, I shall only put up my thoughts on the things that I have completed watching this year (2020) that I have put up from there.
With that being said, here they go... most of them in the original words that I had typed/written from last time. My only change will be the rating (now I shall use the numerical rating since I have figured how to rate things properly in numbers now) :
Tumblr media
Season 2 of Sex Education was such a delight to watch! While I do feel that it lacks some Otis and Maeve’s interactions (and wtf is that cliffhanger?), I feel that the other characters are given the opportunity to flesh out and have really good story lines. Definitely a step up to Season 1!
FINAL RATING: 9/10
Tumblr media
Bad news: The third part/season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is the worst part of the show that I’ve watched so far. Good news: I still somewhat like it.
The main issue of this new-released part is how messy it is story wise. There are far too many things going on that it felt a little bit too chaotic - like there’s the Pagan storyline, there’s that Faustus storyline etc etc. It’s just too much.
What makes me still enjoy it is because of its characters. I am attached to the characters and I wanna see their journeys in this show. For instance, Ambrose and Prudence are probably the standouts in this season because they are just super badass here.
Overall, it’s okay. I would still watch this show when the new set of episodes are released.
FINAL RATING: 6/10
Tumblr media
Honestly, Chocolate would’ve been better or ranked higher if they cut down the number of episodes - from 16 to maybe just 8.
Despite its melodramatic tone and ridiculous story line, I actually really enjoyed the initial episodes. I mean okay, the time jumps are a bit too much but I was sold on the emotions and the characters. It’s a melodrama, for crying out loud - it’s not meant to be realistic.
But then, for some unknown reason, it got draggy around the second half of the drama. And it affected my love for the drama. It was like they put a brake on the main plot and save for it the last episode (which it did).
This does not mean that it’s not a good drama. For the most part, I actually enjoyed it and I was invested in the characters’ journeys.
Just that it could be better.
FINAL RATING: 6/10
Tumblr media
Honestly, Black Dog was not a drama I thought of watching. The posters and the plot did not make me feel compelled to watch it because for some reason, I thought this drama would be something like those corruption dramas or corporate dramas - while I can enjoy those kind of dramas, I do have to be in the ‘mood’ to watch them.
It was only when I started seeing some gifs/images over Tumblr that I started to consider it. And when more and more people raved about it, I knew that I just have to check it out.
And just like what these people said, it was good. A really good drama, actually! I think what I love about this drama is how realistic it really is. I like that I can actually relate to the world and the characters in the drama. While Haneul and I don’t share the same type of field, I can empathise with her struggles in obtaining/maintaining her employment and sitting for the certification exam. I can empathise with how she tries to navigate the world of school and teaching.
All I know is I have definitely cried or teared up in some of the episodes. (that’s really a feat cause the last time I cried like this in a tv show/drama is season 3 of Anne with an E and we all know how I feel about that show.)
I also love how there is a good balance between drama and comedy in this drama. While this is primarily a drama, I like that it doesn’t feel heavy. It makes it easier to watch multiple episodes in one sitting.
If there is one minor problem with this drama, it is that it feels like the main drama ends with 12 episodes and the remaining 4 episodes are the epilogue or extra episodes. While the remaining 4 episodes are still pretty good, it has somewhat cooled my love for this drama. However, I do appreciate it and it gives a good look at what happened after Haneul’s first year of teaching.
With that, I have contemplated on whether to give this drama the best rating I could give in the drama or the second best. Considering that there is barely any flaw in this drama, I shall give it...
FINAL RATING: 10/10
Tumblr media
Season 2 of Kingdom did not disappoint. It maintained the same energy and intrigue that it brought in the previous season. There’s the excitement, there’s the high-quality production and there’s never really a chance for it to falter or drag. Its pacing remains consistent and I remain hooked to the end. I also like that this show does not end in an agonising cliffhanger - it wraps up the main plot that was introduced in the first season and at the same time, teases on what is to come in the possible season 3.
Overall, a really good season!
FINAL RATING: 9/10
Tumblr media
I gotta admit, Crash Landing On You was a pretty nice watch! I initially had quite low expectations for this drama - I have hard time being truly engaged in big budget romcoms because they tend to be unrealistic and too fluffy (and I like my dramas pretty realistic).
But to my surprise, I actually really like it. The episodes (particularly the first half of the drama) were candies to the mind and to the eye! Yes, this drama is hella trope-y and there’s a lot of moments which are very unrealistic and are there to be flashy and amp up the romance. But you know, something about this drama just works.
Of course, like a lot of k-dramas, the second half of the drama is less addictive to watch. But it was still a pretty good watch. I mean, it got my mum really addicted and my brother to finally watch a k-drama beyond Kingdom after all these years.
FINAL RATING: 8/10
Tumblr media
For someone who doesn’t know shiz about baseball, Stove League was still a very good drama to watch. It has that underdog story (in this drama, the under-performing baseball team for 2 years in a row, Dreams) that makes it easy to root for. It remained tight and consistent throughout its run. Its tone is very balanced - has good balance of serious and comic relief.
And most importantly, it’s not very hard to like the characters that matter.
Overall, very solid drama!
FINAL RATING: 9/10
Tumblr media
When the Weather is Fine is really a good drama to watch at the moment, during the midst of this current pandemic. Even though initially (the first episode) it did not win me over due the drama’s slow pace, I gradually enjoy watching it regardless of its pace and eventually, I was hooked.
This drama has a very calming and “healing” aspect to it even though the subjects dealt can be serious. I like that even though there’s some serious issues here, the drama remains well-balanced and still has plenty of light-hearted scenes. Lim Hwi (the male lead’s younger sister) is definitely my favourite character in this drama as she brings a lot of sunshine to the table with her innocent teen self. Also, the comforting presence of the community (whether it being the Good Night Book Club member or the people/families in the neighbourhood etc) along with naturally serene setting make the drama feels warm.
With that, I recommend watching this drama, especially to anyone who wishes to seek comfort and feel warm.
FINAL RATING: 8/10
Tumblr media
Netflix’s Never Have I Ever was an unexpected treat for me. I did not know the existence of this show prior to its release. I did not see any of its promos/trailers etc. So there was no expectations whatsoever prior to watching it.
My brother and I only happened to stumble upon it when trying to find something to watch on Netflix. So you can say that this was a present that came out of nowhere because as soon as I just went into it (within the first few minutes), I already really like it!
This show was funny. It was relatable as someone who comes from an Asian background. And most importantly, it has plenty of hearts. Trust me, I was tearing up when watching the last two episodes of this season (I sincerely hope that the show will be renewed for the next season).
Definitely a really nice show to binge quickly as it only has 10 half-hour episodes.
FINAL RATING: 9/10
Tumblr media
Find Me in Your Memory was a pretty decent watch. Yes, it is a very standard kdrama in the sense that the plot is very very generic and there are so so many obvious tropes here. However, its characters and the chemistry of the main leads still made it worth a look. This drama might not be the most unforgettable or unique drama out there, but it is very easy to watch and it makes a good addition to anyone’s watchlist if you want something straightforward and not complicated.
FINAL RATING: 6/10
Tumblr media
Man, A Piece of Your Mind could have easily been this perfect drama that I’ve ever watched this year had it only retained its original length. It is not to say that this drama is not good - it is as of now, actually one of the top dramas among the dramas I’ve watched this year.
This drama basically fits the type of drama I typically love: a realistic drama which examines more on its characters and focuses on emotions etc. Yes, I know people have complained that it is very slow but to me, that was part of its charm. I love slowly getting to know its characters and how they are feeling etc. I like being emotionally connected to them and follow on their journeys.
So I’m just sad the drama was cut from 16 episodes to 12 (reason being because of its low number of audiences). While the drama did its extreme best in making it work and it does not affect the main plot of the drama other than speeding things up nor does it really diminish my enjoyment for this drama, I’m just sad on what could’ve been if they were able to keep the extra 4 hours to the story. Like, we could’ve gotten better exploration on the characters etc (especially for instance that character who was played by the evil mother in law from Search: WWW and the Eunjoo’s Homestay residents and even frigging Hoon, Hawon’s colleague... like why was he even in the grandma’s house in the countryside?) . Things would’ve been more... organically unfold.
Despite all this, I still really enjoy watching this drama and I still remain invested in the characters’ journeys etc. Our main leads’ relationship feels warm and comforting. The vibe of this drama is just my kind of taste. And most importantly, I feel comforted watching it until the end.
FINAL RATING: 9/10
With that being said, those are some of the shows/dramas that I have completed up until now. Others that I have completed are season 2 of The Sinner (5/10), ITV’s Belgravia (6/10), Netflix’s The Circle France (soooo entertaining with plenty of drama and strategies, 8/10), season 18 of American Idol (8/10) and most recently, Netflix’s Extracurricular (I will eventually share my thoughts on it soon).
Stay tuned.

Source: Happy Wedding App
When it comes to watching movies, Romantic movies top the list. Most people prefer to watch cheesy romances on the screen. We all love to see, boy meeting girl, and then they fall in love with each other, then they go through several problems, and finally, they marry. No matter how regular the whole stuff looks like, romantic movies have a flavor of its own. And these movies look more beautiful when you are about to get married. So here is a list of the 17 best movies every bride and groom should watch before their wedding day.
Let’s have a look on the selection….

Jaime x Brienne Modern AU Fics: Part 2
Part 1 is here.
I’m back with 10 more Modern AU recommendations, just in time for the train wreck that we all know is going to be 8x05. Same rules apply: all complete fics, all happy endings for Jaime and Brienne.
I hope to keep these lists going, at least intermittently, so I’ll be tagging them all #jb fic recs. There’s so many great Modern AUs that I could probably do quite a few more posts on just this theme, but I might change it up for my next post (still won’t be touching canon, or at least show!canon, for a bit, just for my own sanity). If you have any particular themes you’d want to see, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
//////
A Year in the Life by Coraleeveritas rating: M | word count: 34159 | chapters: 12
A just-completed story by a longtime JB fic writer, Brienne is a paramedic/firefighter who encounters Jaime when he crashes his car just up the road from where she’s driving. (Jaime is just as‘pleasant’ as you’d expect at their first meeting.) Each chapter follows on calendar month, and explores their strange developing friendship and subsequent relationship (with added adorable Tommen). A comforting read in these trying times.
//////
Stacked by QuizzicalQuinnia rating: E | word count: 11819 | chapters: 3
Jaime is a professor trying to convince PhD student Brienne to be his research assistant (honestly I wish there were more fics that began with this premise). Brienne issues Jaime a challenge to help her track down a medieval-era song called The Bear and the Maiden Faire for her own doctoral research. It ends in completely indulgent sex in the library and it is great.
//////
In Your Own Words by @bratanimus rating: M | word count: 7845 | chapters: 1
There’s something dark and hypnotic yet fundamentally charming about this (very American) college AU. Jaime and Brienne are already friends (sort of) at the start of this fic, and a chance meeting in a club becomes the catalyst for the consummation of their mutual attraction. I particularly enjoy Jaime’s stream-of-consciousness thoughts – the way he’s on the precipice of understanding his feelings for her.
//////
Ten Days by SandwichesYumYum rating: E | word count: 98421 | chapters: 11
I remember always hearing about SandwichesYumYum but I found her fics relatively late because they aren’t tagged with the J/B pairing. Tyrion books a last minute trip for himself and Jaime, and they meet travel rep Brienne. A whirlwind romance in ten days, as the title promises. (I wish I had been there for when the author was updating the fic once a day, at the equivalent time of that particular chapter. What a lovely way to make the story feel more immersive.)
//////
you, & you, and you. by @sapphireoftarth rating: M | word count: 14760 | chapters: 1
The soft and sweet pregnancy/baby!fic you didn’t know you needed. I really love the experimentation with the structure and how flashbacks were woven in and out of the story. It also explores a lot of the insecurities and challenges that are part and parcel of Jaime and Brienne’s relationship.
//////
Mile High by bergamot rating: M | word count: 20659 | chapters: 10
Jaime and Brienne bicker and bond (i.e. fall in love) when they’re seated next to each other on a flight to King’s Landing. That Mile High Club situation does happen, but not as soon as you might think. Mostly just heartwarming and hilarious.
//////
On the Night’s Watch by @miss-m-calling rating: M | word count: 105820 | chapters: 26
I recommended Miss_M’s ‘Ball and Chain’/’Golden and True’ in Part 1, and gosh I wish she’d come back and write more Detective Brienne stories because I live for them. Here’s a long and dark one from her where Brienne is assigned as Jaime’s new partner, and they go on to solve some pretty intense cases (and then, of course, they become not-just-partners). The procedural element really makes their relationship compelling, but this definitely has mentions of violence, (non-graphic) rape, etc. that might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
//////
Extracurricular Activities by divine_twig rating: T | word count: 9718 | chapters: 1
@mothdogs reminded me of another college AU from a few years ago, and there’s a sequel in the works. Just a warning that Jaime does come across pretty blunt here, even by canon standards (‘wench’ > ‘She-Hulk’), but their developing relationship is still very endearing. It ends with just a sort-of acknowledgement of feelings but would love to see where the sequel takes this.
//////
The Best Legs You’ve Ever Seen by @jaimebrienneonline (I think! Correct me if I’m wrong!) aka ikkiM rating: E | word count: 5081 | chapters: 1
The most hilarious case of smut-filled mistaken identity – Tyrion books Jaime an appointment with call girl Ros, Brienne is supposed to meet Willas Tyrell for a blind date, they get mixed up while also getting exactly what each of them needed.
//////
Beast and the Beast by SigilBroken aka @chickren rating: E | word count: 98317 | chapters: 11
I’ll end with one from the legendary SigilBroken. She’s written some amazing canon continuation/divergence, but this slow-burn fic about Jaime and Brienne as college athletes is... something else. Jaime is the star quarterback, Brienne is on the swim team and is hired by Varys to help him with his academics. SigilBroken says this fic was such a struggle for her to write, but goddamn is it worth your time.

༄ Swipe, baby! | Part 12 - Oh, a real gentleman, I see
Tumblr media
Idol!Taehyung x Reader sm/au
< Previous | Next >
➺ Word count: 1,5k
Genre: Crack humor, Romance/Fluff
╰ You both swiped right on each others tinder profile with no pictures of yourselves.
You keep the details on the low; no names, no nothing, only your ages. To keep the interest until the meeting, you started talking casually, but little did you know that the guy that's trying to get into your pants is no one else than Kim Taehyung, Singer of BTS, and little does he know, that you are completely whipped for the man, an army by heart since day 1.
Start reading!
⇣ ⇣ ⇣ ⇣ ⇣ ⇣
Tumblr media
Taehyungs grip around your wrist is tight and his pace is fast, it's taking all you've got to keep up and not stumble over your own feet.
„Tae- Taehyung,“ you stutter. „Can we slow down it's really hard to walk if you- if you pull me like this.“
„You brought this over yourself y/n, you'll have to learn your lesson.“
Hearing your name falling from his lips nearly has you losing your breath. Your name? Said by the Kim Taehyung? The man you've been losing your mind over for around 6 years? This is more than you've ever dared to dream. It almost makes you lose all the confidence you've built up over the evening. It was fun to tease him and drive him crazy, but now that it's close to happening you're getting pretty nervous, and the fact that he pulled himself together and took the upper hand again is almost intimidating.
As soon as you reach the doors Taehyung agressively types in the door code and continues to drag you over to the elevator. He's repeatingly pressing the button impatiently while waiting for it to arrive.
As soon as it's there, the doors open agonizingly slow and Taehyung shoves you through them the second the doors give enough space to do so; unbothered by the fact they did not fully open yet.
With one swift pull he spins you around so your back is meeting the wall on the left side as he slams his hands onto it and traps you between his arms. Seconds later, all you recognize is how he's leaning in sharply, with his face so close to yours that it has your breath hitching in your throat.
„You shouldn't have played me like this, y/n.“ he says while one of his hands is leaving your side to push the button thats starting the elevator.
You're meeting his hand halfway as he's about to bring it back and take it into yours, locking eyes with him. He's in control right now and you don't like it; you have to do something about this.
After stopping his hand with yours and holding it in place for a second, you're guiding it to rest on your cheek, not losing the intense eye contact even for the smallest of moments.
You watch as his bottom lip trembles and his adams apple bobs in his throat before he exhales shakingly.
Within the blink of an eye, what follows next is his lips crashing onto yours and his fingers diving into your hair. His lips are warm and soft and the kiss is greedy and filled with passion and in this moment its taking you everything to not rip his shirt off of him. His teeth are pulling eagerly at your lower lip and as he lets go of it his tongue is softly grazing your mouth, begging for entrance.
As much as you wanted to have a taste of is tongue, you don't get to let him in; the elevator opens its doors and Taehyung pulls away.
„Let's get out of here so we can continue somewhere more comfortable,“ he growls under his breath while he takes your hand, fingers intertwined.
As you walk towards the door, you can't help but feel overwhelmed by the impressive and gigantic building the boys are living in- not to mention how overwhelming the fact, that you're about to enter their dorm and spend a night with your bias, already is.
Taehyung is quick to type in the door code and he doesn't hesitate to push you through the door immediately.
With the sound of the door closing, he's already finding his way back to your body; his hands are gripping tightly around your waist as he's pulling you closer.
Sadly, just as he's about to lean back in to kiss you, nature is suddenly calling. This might not be the best timing, but on the other hand, it's pretty much just fitting into your plan of gaining back the upper hand. It won't hurt to leave him hanging high and dry for once more.
„Not so fast, big boy,“ you say while bringing up one finger, placing it on his lips, stopping him midway.
„What is it?“ he's asking under his breath as he's planting a kiss onto your finger.
„I kinda have to use your bathroom... can I?“
He's pulling away sharply, confusion visible on his face. „Uhm, of course you can... uhh, it's right over there,“ he responds with raised eyebrows as he's pointing into a direction.
You free yourself out of Taehyungs grip and start making your way towards the bathroom as you hear him calling out to you.
„I'll be waiting for you in my room, just walk down the hall on the right side.“
You turn on the spot, sending a nod his way. „Sure, I'll be right there,“ you assure him, making him smile.
But you wouldn't let go of a perfect opportunity to put one on top, not in this fight over dominance. So what you're doing, is forming a silent ,daddy‘ with your mouth, watching as Taehyungs eyes are widening while you turn back around to continue walking.
As soon as you reached the door Taehyung has pointed towards, you're quick to push down the handle- you wanna make him wait, but you don't want to make him wait for long.
Surprisingly the door won't open, though. Instead, you hear a voice calling out to you.
„Uhm, hyung?? I'm still in here so... would you mind??“
Being an Army for so many years, you know exactly to whom that voice belongs to. It's no one else than Jeon Jungkook, and it has you shocked. You would have thought that no one would be in the dorm when Taehyung brings you over, but certainly you've been proven wrong. Too bad that you have to keep the act of not knowing them up.
„E-... excuse me?“ you say nervously.
It doesn't help that now there's a big awkward silence, caused by probably both of you being equally surprised.
„I... uh... I-I'm sorry but-... uh yeah... occupied,“ Jungkook stutters out, being obviously just as nervous as you are.
„Uhh, okay, that's fine. Do you think it'll take long? I really have to... you know... pee.“
„Sadly, I think so... I'm sorry but I have been here for a while already and I don't think that'll change anytime soon...“ he says with the tiniest of voices. He sure sounds embarrassed.
„Oh dear, how long have you been in there?“
„... four hours...“
„Fo-four hours? You poor boy, what happened to you?!“
„I might have eaten 21 buckets of KFC... it's kinda taking its toll right now...“
„What- twenty-one buckets? That's... well, yeah. I can see that might take a while,“ you laugh. „But that doesn't change anything... do you happen to have a second bathroom?“
„Yes, it's actually two doors to the left, it should be free!“ he responds, now a bit more excited.
„Thank you! And... good luck in there!“ you cheer, as you turn away to find the other bathroom.
„Thanks.“
Tumblr media
As you are about to pass the first of the two doors, it suddenly shoots open and Hoseok is sliding out of what seems to be his room.
He's leaning onto the door frame, arms crossed and a smirk on his face.
„Hey sexy, how are we doing tonight? Who's your daddy, huh?“
„Someone that's not you,“ you reply as you keep walking, unfazed.
„Fair enough,“ is all he says as he quickly disappears, shutting his door.
That sure was not what you'd have imagined what Hoseok would be like, but who are you to judge, you are not better.
Tumblr media
As you push down the handle of the door next to Hoseoks, you are relieved to see that it in fact is the bathroom. You step inside and quickly do what nature is calling for.
Taking two, three glances in the mirror after washing your hands, you straighten your dress, fix a couple strands of hair and are ready to go find Taehyung.
‚Just walk down the hall on the right side,‘ you recall. ‚Shouldn't be too hard.‘
The right side of the hall is pretty much in front of you now, there is only one problem- it hasn't exactly only one door.
„Of course he didn't tell me which one,“ you mumble to yourself. You could try and call out his name, but you aren't very fond of the idea of making a fool out of yourself.
This damn guy. You immediately understood why you had to give your phone away as soon as you saw him and you didn't mind, but right now it wouldn't have been too bad to have it back.
Taking a deep breath you place your bet on the first door there is. Every rational thinking person would mention which door it is if it wouldn't be the first one, so that must be it, right?
Slowly you open the door and dare to peek inside. The lights are out, yet the space is dimly lit by a monitor that's left turned on. The whole room is a mess made out of empty bottles of banana milk, ramyeon bowls and a giant load of KFC buckets.
‚Jesus christ, Jungkook...,‘ is all you think as you close the door again. Not the room you were looking for.
Now you're getting nervous. As it seems, you'll have to go through all the doors, as much as you'd wish that wouldn't be the case.
Gathering some courage, you're knocking on the door next to Jungkooks before you open it carefully.
This time, the lights are on and the room isn't empty either; someone's sitting in their chair working on something on the computer. You immediately figure that you've barged into the wrong room again, but when he's starting to turn around in his chair, you'd feel rude if you would just leave now.
„You must be the girl that's Taehyungs guest for the night?“ Yoongi says with a monotone voice.
„Yes, I am and... you are?“
„That's not important right now. It's just good that I met you before, because...,“ he says while turning back around, opening a drawer, looking for something. When he found what he's been looking for, he reaches for his pocket, pulling his wallet out and turns back around as he continues his sentence. „You're going to stay over night, I assume? So, let me ask you, how exactly are you going to pay for this? I can accept cash,“ he says while lifting the wallet a bit, „....or credit cards,“ he says as he lifts a pocket card reader with his other hand, smirking.
You chuckle. This is probably the most hilarious thing you've ever witnessed. These guys are rich, and yet he asks you for money?
„Excuse me, but... this house doesn't exactly look like you'd need this, are you for real?“
Yoongi lets out a breathy laughter while putting down both of the items in his hands.
„We might seem rich, but I like to be on the safe side, you never know when you run out of money, you know?“ he explains with a smile, his expression kind of thoughtful.
You assume that this mindset probably has its roots in the fact that he grew up very poor, so he'd try to do everything to keep that from happening.
„I think I can understand that,“ you start. „and who would I be if I wouldn't support that? Also I kinda liked the way you asked. It was funny.“
You're laughing as you finish your sentence. Reaching into your bag, you drag out your wallet and pull out a dollar.
„I'm so sorry, but I can't just give you everything I have, since you never know when you run ouf money. But I can give you this as a thanks for the hospitality.“ you mock, and his eyes widen in surprise as you offer him the money.
„Are you for real?“
„Yes, just take it,“ you respond with a laughter.
„Holy shit, this is the first time someone actually does that. Geez, girl, you might not be as bad as I thought!“
„Excuse me?“ You're cocking an eyebrow.
„Nothing, forget it!“ he quickly says.
„Alright... listen, I should probably get going. Keep doing what you do, it's amazing!“
Shit. You didn't think that sentence through.
„What?“
„Uhh, the... the money thingy, you know. It's amazing how you, uh yeah, how you're managing that! I'll leave now, enjoy your night!“ you stutter out.
Yoongis face is decorated with a huge smile.
„No, you better enjoy your night.“
Closing his door behind you, you're taking a deep breath. That was close. You have to be more careful with what you're saying.
Tumblr media
Giving the next room a try, you definitely did not expect what just happened, and neither did the person inside expect someone to walk in.
You are peeking your head into Kim Namjoon's room, which isn't a bad thing at all, but his eyes are fixed on you as his mouth hangs open in embarrassment.
He was listening to a song you know all too well, no, he wasn't just listening, he was enjoying it. He enjoyed ‚Expensive girl‘. He danced to it.
„That never happened.“ he says emotionless.
„Deal.“
You know exactly why he's embarrassed, but since he doesn't know that, you decide to take a different route.
„That was a nice song, though. What's it called?“ you say with a soft smile.
Namjoons eyes widen even more when you said that.
„Are you- are you serious?“
„Yes, I am.“
„Fuck yeah it is right?! I knew someone will think so. You know what? I'm sick and tired of hiding that song. I'm sick and tired of pretending I don't like it. It's a good song, and thats the facts, ain't it like that?“ he says with way too much exitement and somehow a hint of aggression.
‚Who hurt this poor boy? Jesus christ, why does he feel so angry?‘
„The song is actually a cover, someone named Rap Monster made it. He changed his name though, but he's really sick!! You should give him a try,“ Namjoon says with a smirk.
You're having a hard time not to laugh. If only they'd know.
„I'm sure he is.“
„You're not in here for me, though, huh? You're looking for Taehyungs room. It's the last door at the end of the hall. After mine there's a couple other rooms following. You probably stumbled into some other rooms before mine, I guess I'm just... yeah, I guess I'm just trying to be nice so you won't waste your time.“
„Trying to be nice, huh?“ you laugh.
„Yeah, I mean, how could I not? You promised not to tell anyone about what just happened, so I'm just giving back the favor.“
„Oh, a real gentleman, I see.“
You both laugh out loud and remain smiling at each other quietly for a few more seconds afterwards. The guy that just seemed like an angry one now doesn't seem angry anymore at all; he suddenly feels warm.
„You're pretty cool, do you know that?“ you compliment him, your voice sincere.
Namjoons smile fades away, and he's staring at you with big eyes.
„I'll go now. Keep your nice taste in music up, alright?“
He doesn't say anything. Instead, he just nods a couple times.
Poor guy. You must have flustered him, although you have to say that this expression looks pretty cute on his face.
With a smile on your face, you wave him goodbye as you close the door behind you.

Namjoon's a decent man. At least he's told you where Taehyungs room is.
So here you are, walking towards the end of the hall, and as you reach it you realize that you're facing another problem. Just as you thought you might finally be able to get this night started, you are standing in the middle of two doors.
‚At least its a 50:50 chance now... instead of tons of possible doors that could be the right one.‘
Namjoon really could have mentioned if it was the left or the right door. But well, you're thankful that you didn't have to open the other 5 doors thanks to his hint, so you're not complaining.
‚Fuck it, let's just go with the left door.‘
Knocking first, you open the door ever so slowly before you step inside a bit. You can't see anyone to your left, but as your head turns over to the right, you find Jimin sitting on his bed in a cute pajama set.
This is probably the purest thing you've ever seen. He was reading a book, and as he faces you, your eyes lock. He looks as if he's absolutely mesmerized; his eyes wide and lips slightly parted, and you'd be lying if you'd say that this moment doesn't make your heart skip a beat.
„....I- uh.... I'm sorry.... wrong room,“ is all you can bring out, your eyes still locked.
He slowly nods at your words.
There's a short moment of silence before you cut the tension that lays thick in the air.
„I should... uhm... yeah,“ you stutter as you point over your shoulder with your thumb. Again, he only nods in response.
Just the second before you close the door, you can hear Jimin whispering a quiet ‚wow‘ under his breath.

As soon as it's closed, you're leaning onto his door. What the fuck was that?
While you're leaning there, though, your eyes fall onto the door in front of you.
Taehyungs door.
‚Alright, y/n. Game on.‘

OTP Challenge Day 12: Cooking
*sighhh* I think this one is of much better quality then the last one. That may be due to the fact that I wrote the last one while I was half asleep.
Oh! What Erza’s remembering (Jellal saying “I care about you too.”) is from OTP Challenge Day 10! You can read that HERE.
And, the truth or dare game that Erza is talking about is chronicled in my OTP Challenge Day 3 (Nalu!) which you can read HERE.
OTP: Jerza
Rating: E
Erza leaned against the counter of her little kitchen, thoughtlessly sending a knife through an array of carrots, slicing thinly. Her mind was wandering, her thoughts were far away from her dinner, far away from her home. “I care about you too.” Jellal's words echoed in her mind, on repeat. What in the world was she thinking? A long time ago they had played truth and dare at the guild and she had admitted to everyone that she was in love with Jellal, but Jellal was never home. He hadn't been home then. He didn't know.
A rapping and tapping at her window brought her thoughts back to reality. She set aside her knife and moved across her little living space to the large window, throwing open the drapes and lifting the window open with one hand. She leaned out, looking down at where Jellal was reaching down to pick up another pebble.
“You've done it, Jellal,” she grinned, resting her chin in her hands. “You've dragged me into a sappy teenage romance novel.”
When Jellal looked up, and their eyes met, he smiled, “You know that's been my goal all along, Erza.” The way he looked outside under the moon and stars, like a romantic idiot, god she wanted to kiss him.
“Can't you just use the door?” She asked. Jellal shrugged,
“Definitely not as fun. Lucky for me you've got a great climbing tree.” He made his way up, branch by branch, until he made it to the large branch just above her window, and he dropped down into her apartment. She crossed her arms, a little amused, and shook her head.
“One day you're going to get yourself killed,” she glanced over his figure under a tight shirt. He was lean and tall, but he was strong, and he was here. How long had he been away this time? “I missed you.” She almost surprised herself by letting the words bounce free of her lips. Jellal replied by wrapping her in an embrace. She felt warm and safe in his arms, and she let out a sigh, gripping his shirt with his hands, wishing she could feel this way all the time.
“What are you cooking?” Jellal murmured in her ear. She pulled away, remembering her abandoned vegetables.
“Soup. For dinner.” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, “Will you... stay?”
“For dinner?” He smiled, reaching out to clasp her hand with his, “with you? Every day, if I could.”
“Alright,” she beamed, “Let me finish making it then.”
“I'll help, if you'd like.” She eyed him warily, and he laughed, “It's not like I'm going to poison you, Erza.”
“Have you tried your cooking?”
“Alright, alright. I'll just finish chopping the vegetables.” They took their places out the counter, silently finishing the preparations for dinner, their shoulders brushing.
“It just needs to simmer now,” Erza sighed, as she added the last of the vegetables to the pot. Jellal collapsed onto one of the stools at the counter with a sigh, his eyes never leaving hers.
“Do you remember the masquerade? When we were on the roof?”
“Yes,” Erza smiled, leaning against the counter across from him.
“You told me that I didn't ever have to be alone. You asked me to stay with you. Do you remember that?”
“Of course, I do,” Erza whispered, “And I still mean every word. I've missed you.”
Jellal sighed, and Erza saw relief etched in his features. “I want to stay, Erza,” he said, looking down at his hands, “I want to stay with you.” The breath she didn't know she had been holding was released, and she leaned as far as she could across the counter to press a kiss to his lips, tangling her fingers in his dark hair. She loved him. She pulled away, their lips still brushing, her body pressed against the hard granite of the counter top.
“I love you,” she whispered the words against his lips, but he heard them, and he stood suddenly, increasing their distance. She slowly stood blinking up at him. Had she broken the spell? Said it too soon? The way he was staring at her...
He came around the counter, and stood in front of her, their barrier gone. “Say it again.” His words echoed in silence. The soup was boiling on the stove. Erza ignored it.
“Jellal Fernandes. I'm in love with you,” she breathed. He choked on... she wasn't sure. A laugh or a sob? Or both? And then he pulled her into his arms, against his chest, kissing her like it was their last night on earth, like the soup wasn't boiling over on the stove, like he couldn't get enough of her taste—cinnamon and strawberries. She closed her eyes. The kiss spoke to her, in every way that it should. He loved her. He loved her, just like she loved him. His fingers traced down her side, to her hip, sending electricity up her spine, and when he pulled away, putting distance between their mouths, it was all too soon.
“What...” she was breathless, the soup was still boiling over, she was blind to it, “What does that mean?” She asked as if she didn't know, as if the kiss didn't speak for itself, as if he hadn't touched her very soul.
“Don't you know?” He smiled, running his thumb across her lower lip, her breath hitched at his touch. “I love you, Erza. I always have.” She felt heat rising to her cheeks, and she buried her face in his shoulder. He laughed, cradling her against him. And then the world came crashing back down on them, and reality permeated their bubble of timelessness.
“The soup's boiling over,” he said, and Erza nearly jumped. Of course, she knew that it had been! It had been boiling over since he kissed her! She had known that it was boiling... She yanked away from his embrace to rush to turn off burner and yank the pot away from the mess she had made.
“I think dinner's burned,” she frowned, scraping the bottom of the pot with a wooden spoon. Jellal laughed, shrugging his shoulders.
“Lets go out to eat,” he smiled, holding out his hand. Erza shook her head with a huff, she should have paid more attention, all their work was ruined. But seeing his smile, seeing the light in his eyes, seeing the way he held himself around her....
“Alright.” She said, taking his hand, “Let's go.”
