his breathing style is literally running water
u picking up what im putting down? okay good
so he’s naturally cold
and ur naturally cold
this is both a good and a bad thing
good because he doesn’t mind when you put ur cold feet on him at night when ur cuddling
which is a major slay^
but it’s bad because homie has no body heat to share with you
he physically cannot use his own body to warm u up
but that doesn’t mean he won’t try!!
mans sees you rubbing your hands together to warm them up?
he’s covering your hands with his and rubbing his thumbs over the back of your hand
maybe laying a sweet kiss on your pulse point too if ur lucky
our pretty blue eyed boy sees you shivering?
here he is coming to pull you close to him and cover you both up with a blanket
honestly i think he uses your natural body temp as an excuse to be affectionate
OOOOOOO

Wishful Snow
Karina x F! Reader
Warnings: Fluff
Word Count: 1.4k
A/n:☃️❄️☃️ 7 days of fluff starts now
⋆꙳•❅*‧ ‧*❆ ₊⋆
As Karina and I strolled hand in hand along the serene banks of the Han River, the chilly breeze sent a shiver down my spine. Sensing my discomfort, Karina instinctively wrapped her arm around me, drawing me closer to her warmth.
"Feeling cold, baby?" Her voice carried concern as her fingers gently rubbed my arm, an attempt to ward off the chill.
"Just a little," I replied, a soft smile playing on my lips at her caring gesture. Karina returned the smile, her eyes flickering towards a nearby shop. A sudden idea seemed to spark in her mind.
"Let's grab some hot chocolate," she suggested, gently guiding us toward the inviting glow of the shop.
The promise of a warm drink amidst the wintry air added a delightful twist to our leisurely stroll, and I found myself eagerly following Karina into the cozy warmth of the store, grateful for her attentiveness and the simple joys shared in our moments together.
The small, charming café exuded a comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and rich cocoa. Karina and I found ourselves nestled into a cozy corner, the soft glow of the lights casting a warm hue around us.
Karina glanced over the menu, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "I think I'll go for the classic hot chocolate. How about you?" she asked, her gaze shifting to meet mine.
"I'll have the same," I replied, nodding in agreement.
With a smile, Karina signaled the waiter, placing our order. As we waited, our conversation flowed effortlessly, filling the air with laughter and shared anecdotes.
The waiter soon returned, setting down two steaming mugs of velvety hot chocolate in front of us. The swirls of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder adorned the drinks, inviting us to indulge.
Taking a careful sip, the rich, comforting warmth of the chocolate spread through me, thawing away the last remnants of the cold. Across from me, Karina's eyes lit up in delight at the taste.
"This is perfect," she declared, a contented sigh escaping her lips.
We continued to sip our drinks, lost in our own little bubble of contentment. The chilly evening seemed to fade away, replaced by the shared warmth of the moment.
As we cradled the mugs in our hands, the first sip of the hot chocolate sent a wave of delightful warmth through us, surpassing even the coziness of our embrace moments ago by the river.
"This is like a hug in a cup," Karina remarked, a smile gracing her lips as she savored another sip.
I couldn't help but agree, feeling the comforting heat travel down my throat, spreading its pleasant embrace throughout my body. The contrast between the wintry chill outside and the toasty ambiance inside the café made the hot chocolate taste even better, infusing us with a newfound sense of comfort.
With each sip, the world seemed cozier, the air around us filled with shared laughter and the sweet aroma of chocolate. It wasn't just the drink; it was the shared experience, the warmth of Karina's presence, and the simple joy of being together that made the hot chocolate taste so much better than before.
As we relished the warmth and each other's company, I realized that sometimes, it's the simplest moments that weave the most beautiful memories, like the shared warmth of a cup of hot chocolate on a cold evening by the river.
As our mugs emptied, we reluctantly set them aside, our time in the cozy café drawing to a close. With a shared glance, we wrapped our scarves tighter around our necks and ventured back outside, greeted by the crisp night air.
I noticed a hint of anticipation in Karina's demeanor, a subtle nervous energy that hadn't been there before. She intertwined her fingers with mine, her touch slightly trembling, and I sensed a tinge of excitement mixed with apprehension.
"Everything alright?" I asked, trying to ease any tension I felt in the air.
Karina's smile softened, though a flicker of nervousness still lingered in her eyes. "Yeah, just feeling a little jittery, probably from the hot chocolate" she confessed, her gaze momentarily drifting toward the glistening city lights dancing on the river's surface.
I tightened my grip on her hand, offering silent support and understanding. Whatever was causing her unease, I wanted her to know I was there for her, always.
As we strolled along the riverbank, the quiet anticipation between us added a layer of significance to the moment. Little did I know, Karina was carrying the weight of an imminent life-changing decision.
Unbeknownst to me, she had been harboring the most heartfelt of intentions. Her heart fluttered with the weight of a proposal she longed to make, a promise she was eager to share. Her nerves danced with a blend of excitement and trepidation, each step toward our destination heightening the emotional whirlwind within her.
With every passing moment, Karina's conviction only grew stronger. She couldn't wait to spend forever with you, to intertwine our lives in a way that surpassed the ordinary bounds of love. The thought of a future together fueled her nervousness but also filled her heart with an undeniable warmth.
Though I remained unaware of her plans, the love that emanated from her touch and the sparkle in her eyes spoke volumes, weaving a tale of affection and commitment that transcended words.
The cityscape sprawled before us, a tapestry of shimmering lights against the dark canvas of the evening sky. The serene beauty of the Han River was accentuated by the distant skyline, a sight that always left us in awe.
Then, as if nature had choreographed the perfect moment, delicate snowflakes began to drift from the heavens. The first snow of the season, painting the world in a soft, ethereal blanket.
Our eyes locked in wonder as we witnessed this enchanting spectacle. It was a familiar yet endlessly captivating sight—a shared moment we'd cherished multiple times before. This was our fourth "first snow" together, a tradition that had unknowingly woven itself into the fabric of our relationship.
As the flakes twirled gracefully in the air, the love between us seemed to intensify, almost tangible in the way we looked at each other. There was an unspoken understanding, a silent acknowledgment of the depth of our connection, expressed through our gleaming eyes.
In that tranquil moment, amidst the falling snow, time seemed to stand still. The city's buzz faded into the background, leaving only the two of us, cocooned in the magic of the season's inaugural snowfall.
Our hearts danced with joy, grateful for the opportunity to experience this breathtaking sight together once more. The love that shone in our gazes spoke volumes, words unnecessary as we basked in the beauty of the moment, relishing the warmth of our shared history and the promise of many more such moments in our future.
The air seemed to hold its breath as Karina turned to face me, her eyes a kaleidoscope of emotions. Her vulnerability and anticipation were palpable in the way she gazed at me, a mixture of nervousness, excitement, and a deep sense of contentment.
"Make a wish, Karina," I whispered softly, knowing the significance of such moments during the first snowfall. The belief that wishes made during this time held a special kind of magic hung in the wintry air.
Karina took a deep breath, her eyes never leaving mine. The weight of her wish lingered between us, a wish she seemed ready to express in the most heartfelt way. Her voice, barely audible yet filled with unwavering sincerity, broke the tranquil silence.
"I wish for you to marry me," she uttered, her words carrying the weight of a promise and a question all at once. My heart skipped a beat, emotions swirling within me, realizing the depth of her feelings and her desire for our future.
Time seemed to slow as Karina sank to her knees, the pristine snowflakes cascading around us like a magical veil. Her courageous gesture, the vulnerability in her eyes, and the question hanging in the frosty air made my heart overflow with warmth and love.
In that crystalline moment, the world felt suspended. The city around us, the soft snow, and the hushed evening sounds faded into the background. It was just her and me, bound by an unspoken connection that transcended words.
Tears glistened in my eyes as I looked into hers, overwhelmed by the depth of emotion. Without hesitation, my heart leaped with an emphatic yes, every fiber of my being affirming what I knew with unwavering certainty.
"Yes, Karina," I whispered, my voice trembling with emotion, "a thousand times yes."
The first snowflakes of the season bore witness to a moment that would forever be etched in our hearts—a proposal amidst the serene beauty of the winter night, a declaration of love amidst the gentle fall of snow, and the promise of a lifetime together.

Request: winterwidow baby have a daddy-daughter day with her papa🥺, and when they coming home yn js just so excited to tell her mama all the things she did with bucky
Daddy-Daughter Day
Winterwidow x daughter!reader
Summary: Bucky takes his little daughter out on a daddy-daughter day.
———
Bucky woke up to the sound of giggles and the soft padding of little feet. He smiled as he saw his 2-year-old daughter, Y/N, standing at the edge of the bed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Today was their special day - a daddy-daughter day, just the two of them.
After a quick breakfast of pancakes and maple syrup, Bucky bundled you up in a cozy jacket and scarf. He couldn't help but adore how small you looked in your winter attire. Holding your tiny hand in his metal one, you two ventured out into the crisp winter morning.
The first destination: the local ice skating rink. Bucky had secretly been practising his skating skills just for this day. As you arrived, the rink was adorned with twinkling lights, and the air was filled with laughter and the scraping sound of blades against the ice.
Bucky crouched down to your eye level, your wide blue eyes fixed on the glistening ice. "Are you ready to go skating, baby doll?" he asked, earning an enthusiastic nod from you.
“Yes! we go on the ice!” you giggled and held Bucky's hand tighter.
With your skates laced up, Bucky took your hand again and slowly stepped onto the ice. It was your first time, and Bucky was determined to make it memorable. The initial wobbles turned into laughter as Bucky guided you across the ice, your little feet making hesitant but determined strides.
The two of you circled the rink, Bucky spinning you around occasionally, your laughter echoing through the frosty air. The joy on your face was priceless, and Bucky couldn't help but feel a warmth in his heart as you glided together.
"Daddy, this the best day ever!" you exclaimed, your cheeks rosy from both the cold and excitement.
Bucky grinned, ruffling your hair. "Glad you think so, baby doll. But we still have more to do!"
The more skating the two of you did, the more confidence you gained. Bucky skated backward, holding your little hands, and laughed as you twirled together.
As you left the ice with rosy cheeks, Bucky scooped you into his arms and headed away from the ice skating rink to your next destination.
Bucky strolled through the snow-covered streets with your little hand clutching his until a cozy little cafe came into view. The warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted you as you entered.
Bucky guided the two of you to a small table by the window, where you could watch the snowflakes gently fall outside. The little cafe was adorned with twinkling lights, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Bucky helped you out of your winter gear, settling you into a cushioned chair.
"I think it's time for a treat, don't you think, sweetheart?" Bucky grinned, glancing at the menu.
Your eyes widened with anticipation. "Treat, Daddy!"
Bucky chuckled and looked over the menu. "How about a hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream for you?" he suggested, pointing to the various options.
Your face lit up. "Yes, please, Daddy!"
Bucky signalled the waiter, placing the order for your special hot chocolate. As they waited, Bucky couldn't help but smile at the joy sparkling in your blue eyes. The cafe's ambience, combined with the lingering excitement from ice skating, made the moment feel magical.
The drinks arrived, and your hot chocolate looked like a work of art, topped with a mountain of marshmallows and a swirl of whipped cream. Bucky smiled as he handed the hot drink to you, you couldn't contain the excitement.
"Daddy, it's so tasty!" you exclaimed, your eyes wide with amazement.
Bucky chuckled. "Well, you deserve nothing but the best, baby doll."
While you happily sipped your hot chocolate giving yourself a little milk moustache, Bucky enjoyed the rich aroma of his coffee. You chatted about your favourite moments on the ice, your favourite animal, and what you saw on your daily walks with Natasha. Bucky listened attentively, savouring the simple joy of these father-daughter conversations.
As drinks were finished, Bucky glanced at the clock. "Well, baby doll, it's time to head home. But we'll have more special days like this, I promise."
You nodded, your eyes filled with contentment. Bucky paid the bill and helped you back into your winter gear. The two of you left the cafe hand in hand, the warmth of your hot drinks lingering as you both stepped back into the chilly air outside.
As Bucky and you returned to the compound, the snowfall had intensified outside, a white blanket of snow coated the outside. Bucky marvelled at the beauty, holding your hand tightly. The warmth of the cafe lingered as you stepped inside, greeted by the familiar surroundings of your home.
"Alright, sweetheart, let's get you out of those snowy clothes," Bucky said, guiding you towards the living area. You excitedly kicked off your pink boots and wriggled out of your winter coat, your face still flushed with the remnants of the day's adventures.
Once comfortably settled back into warm clothes, you couldn't contain your excitement. "Daddy, I wanna tell Mama about our day!"
Bucky chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Sounds like a plan. Let's find Mama."
The both of you made your way to the communal area where Natasha was engrossed in a book. Hearing the footsteps, she looked up, a warm smile playing on her lips.
"Well, look who's back! How was your day, you two?" Natasha asked.
You practically bounced on your toes, eager to share. "Mama, Daddy and I go ice skating! And then we went to a cafe, and I had hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream!"
Natasha's eyes met Bucky's, and she raised an eyebrow teasingly. "Sounds like quite the adventure, the two of you had."
Natasha chuckled, closing her book. "I'm glad to hear that. Maybe next time I'll join you for some ice skating. But for now, how about we get ready for dinner?"
As they headed to the dining area, you couldn't stop talking about every detail of the day, from the first step on the ice to the last sip of your hot chocolate.

TANKINI DREAMING — YANG JUNGWON wc 923 warnings cursing pairing lifeguard!jungwon x fmr
Tumblr media
a day at the beach always meant the nostalgic smell of banana boat sunscreen lotion, burning hot sand, and memories of when you were younger, clad in a tankini strutting around in an attempt to seduce the life guard.
yeah. not your proudest moment.
but here you were again, standing underneath the beach umbrella, smelling of banana boat sunscreen, and definitely not in a tankini. you were older now, wiser, and 100% less likely to strut around the beach trying to seduce lifeguards out of your league.
as you settle onto your beach towel, in attempts to get tan, your sister stomps over to you, her small stature blocking the sun from hitting you. “what.” you grumble.
“stop being boring!” she huffs, “let’s go into the water!!”
”let me tan,” you mutter back, “shoo, go play in the sand yourself,”
“NO!” she exclaims, “let’s go into the water!! please please please please please please—”
“alright! i get it! shut up please,” you grumble again, standing up from your towel. you sigh, looking wistfully, at your towel before turning away to follow your sister who’s already atleast ten feet ahead of you. “hey! wait up!”
Tumblr media
the water is cold despite the blazing hot weather, and you chatter as your legs touch the crashing waves. your sister however, is seemingly unaffected as she throws herself in, giggling as the waves splash onto her. you can’t help but smile at this as you wade in deeper, plans of revenge brewing in your head.
without a warning, you grab your sister, hoisting her up and then tossing her into the sea with a splash. she arises, kicking and sputtering, but there’s a smile on her face. she dives at you, and you laugh as she tackles you down into the water, only for you to wrestle her away from you. “uh uh,” you smile, “you’re still too weak for me,”
“i’ll take you—” she starts, only to be cut off by a wave dragging her underneath, and throwing her back up right into you. you laugh at her hair, drenched and stuck to her face as she angrily grumbles at you. the whistle blares through the beach, and you whip around back at shore to see who it’s aimed at.
but you immediately lose interest in this when you see the lifeguard. he is probably the most gorgeous man you have ever laid your eyes upon, and you even want to apologize to him for looking without permission. you suddenly feel like younger you, in a tankini, and dreaming of rizzing up the lifeguard. maybe, just maybe, this time you could actually—
“STOP LOOKING AT MEN I'LL TELL DAD!” your sister squeals, tossing a big scoop of saltwater at you, causing you to sputter and screech.
“YAH!” you exclaim, “you’re so dead!”
Tumblr media
despite being only 18, after an hour of rough-housing in the ocean, and fighting the waves with your incredibly hyper sister, it is safe to say that you are pooped and absolutely done with movement for the rest of the day.
“i’m clocking out,” you groan sitting on the edge of the shore.
“you’re old,” your sister complains, “five more minutes!”
“nope, nope NOPE,” you tell her, “get out and we get ice cream, or i get out you stay and no ice cream,”
“you should’ve said that earlier!” she exclaims, “ice cream!!! i want a scoop of cookie monster, chocolate, and vanilla!”
“alright you ravenous beast,” you tell her, “just please let me get out of the damn water. . .”
your sister bounds out of the water, the thought of ice cream acting as new found energy for her. you groan, trailing slowly behind her.
“tired?’ you snap your head up in surprise, turning to the left of you. you’re met with the lifeguard stand, where four guys stand around. yet, it’s the gorgeous lifeguard you noticed earlier talking to you.
“yeah,” you answer, “i can’t keep up with that anymore,”
he laughs.
“so,” you start, “did you need something?” you ask, before quickly clapping your hand over your mouth, “sorry, that came out like really rude,”
“no, it’s okay,” he smiles, “uhm, well—”
“he thinks you’re cute!!” another lifeguard calls.
“he wants your number!”
“he wants to be your boy—”
“HEY SHUT UP!” the boy screams, whipping around at his friends. you hear the three of them giggle in the background, “sorry about them. i’m jungwon by the way,”
“i’m yn,” you smile, “i heard you think i’m cute?”
“will i get your number if i say yes?”
“well why don’t you find out?” you grin. jungwon laughs, pulling his phone out from his back pocket to hand it to you. you click your tongue.
“too natural jungwon,” you say, “you do this to other girls as well?” his eyes widen.
“what!? no—”
“just joking,” you laugh, quickly typing in your contact details in. you hand back his phone, and he grins at the contact you set up.
“how long are you going to be here for?”
“whole summer,” you answer.
“perfect,” he tells you, “i’ll—”
“YN STOP TALKING TO MEN!!” your little sister screeches from behind, “DAD—”
“AYE! you little shit you better—” you yell, diving towards your sister to cover her mouth.
“get me ice cream,” she smiles. you glare at her, but you sigh and give up, letting your sister drag you away. you turn back to smile apologetically at jungwon, who smiles as well, before he mouths something to you.
i’ll text you.
and i’ll text you back

ok next au idea charles coffee shop owner and it's the exact same thing as the ice cream au one except max actually fucking hates coffee (said it makes him gag) so he's even more of a loser because he chokes through every single drink just to see charles
oooh you just know he would pull the "get me the best thing you have" order and charles would give him a cold brew, or like the darkest coffee they have. lungo perhaps.
and max would not only have to battle the fact that a) he hates coffee but also b) his blood pressure goes like super high after more than two shots of espresso to the point his vision is kinda overblown and his hands are shaking from it so whenever he leaves he tries to exchange this extra word with charles but when he returns the cup to do it, he's like visibly fighting the physical urge of his hands shaking.
he lasts like 6 visits and then on the 7th one he comes in and straight up goes "charles, honestly, are you trying to kill me?"
charles gets offended and makes him a hot chocolate.

summary - you meet a boy working at a coffee shop, and he doesn’t seem to particularly care that you’re an outcast
tw - cursing
no spoilers for WEDNESDAY, but in future parts there will be
Tumblr media
Your own school bag seemed like a huge iron weight as you pulled yourself into Weathervane, the small local cafe in Jericho. Tired eyes squinted as you adjusted to the light inside the room, and you rubbed your eyes to help. It was a dreary day outside, and the aesthetic of the pleasant coffee shop was very…loud. Not that it necessarily bothered you! You were just used to dark rooms, considering Nevermore wasn’t exactly the most colorful place.
You approached the counter, glancing at the words scrawled on the chalkboard behind the worker, who gave you a nod of acknowledgement as he worked on the coffee of a nearby customer. Maybe you would get something different today. A cold brew? Nah, it was windy out. You wanted something warm. Cozy. To match the aesthetic of the shop. Maybe it would actually give you motivation to do your schoolwork. Eventually the boy called out the name of the person who ordered the coffee, handed it to them and walked over to where you were.
“Hey there, what can I get for you today?” He asked, getting his hand ready to input your order on the register thing.
“Um…can I have a medium hot latte?” You slowly asked, not having much time to prepare your order.
“Yeah! What flavor?”
Shit, you forgot that part. Shit shit, what one? Your eyes darted to the chalkboard with panic, almost forgetting that your life didn’t depend on how quick you chose vanilla, caramel, matcha, chai or mocha. The awkward silence felt so loud as the barista awaited your answer.
“I personally like the caramel lattes.” He suddenly said, coughing awkwardly when he saw your look of slight confusion. “I mean- if you were having trouble deciding. Obviously pick whatever you’d like.”
“No no, caramel sounds great, thank you.” You quickly said, relieved that he gave you something to work with instead.
“Great great, would you like whip cream on that?”
“Yes please!”
“Alright, got it. Anything else for you today?”
“Hmm…what sort of scones do you have?” You asked, eyes glancing to the glass case displaying delicious looking pastries.
“Scones? We just have blueberry and chocolate.”
“I’d love a chocolate scone. Toasted, please.” You smiled warmly.
“Toasted chocolate scone…” he mumbled and put it in, and you watched the numbers quickly add together. “Got it! Anything else for you today?”
“No, that’s all!”
“Alright! Your total is gonna be-”
“Excuse me!”
A loud, obnoxious sounding voice interrupted the barista, and the same person he gave the previous coffee to walked up to the counter. The woman held the cup in her hand, her hip jutted out sassily to the side.
“I’m sorry, ma’am, let me finish taking this person’s order and I’ll be right with you.” He flashed a nervous smile, like he already knew how this interaction was going to go down.
“This was supposed to be iced.” She said bluntly, ignoring what the barista literally just said. “I need a refund and a new drink.” She held out the cup, a sneer on her face as she stared at the boy.
He looked like he wanted to argue or just tell her to screw off, but he took the cup anyway and then paused.
“Ma’am, this cup is empty.” He stated, eyebrows furrowing.
“So?” She scoffed.
“Wh…there probably wasn’t something wrong with it if you still drank it all.” He said, visibly confused.
“Listen, the customer is always right, so just make me another drink. Free of charge, of course.” She snapped, admiring her nails.
His jaw seemed to clench, but he tossed the cup into the trash.
“I’ll get right on that after I finish helping this customer.”
“This…weirdo can wait a couple minutes. I’d like my drink now please.”
You knew you shouldn’t have worn your uniform out in Jericho. You’d just been in such a rush. Although, this woman was being quite rude to both the barista and now you. She hadn’t even said please. You wanted your damn drink so you could work on your homework.
“Excuse me,” you interrupted. “I was here first. He said he was going to finish helping me, so you are going to sit your ass down in a seat and wait patiently after you so rudely demanded he just stop whatever he was doing and make you a drink.”
The woman’s eyes were like saucers as she stared at you, like she was astonished at the audacity you possessed to even talk to her.
“Besides,” you added, turning fully so your body was facing her. “I’m a weirdo, right? You have no clue what I can do, miss. So either sit down or leave.”
Her face turned stark white, clutching at her purse in shock. She fumbled for words, but nothing coherent came out as she scurried out of Weathervane.
You turned back to the barista, who seemed almost impressed.
“Thanks.” He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “She comes in all the time. Orders the same thing every single time and comes back insisting she ordered something else.”
“That has to be annoying.” You shook your head in disapproval of the woman, getting out your wallet. “Anyway, what’s my total?”
“Oh! Right.” He glanced at the register screen and back to you, reciting how much you owed. You swiped your card, typed in your PIN, and let it go through.
“Alright, your order will be out soon.” He said with a kind smile, grabbing a cup. “For here or to go?”
“Here.”
“Gotcha! I’ll have it out to you.” He said with a nod, starting to make your order. As he did so, you fished a 5 dollar bill out of your pocket, dropping it in the tip jar. The boy seemed nice, and he definitely didn’t seem to deserve some random woman demanding things of him and the staff all the time. You found a comfortable booth near a window and unpacked your things, sighing. School had never really come easy to you. It sucked having so much to do and not feeling like there was an easy way to do it. You tried tutoring, but all the teachers seemed to get frustrated with you.
You knocked out your best subjects first. Might as well get them out of the way as soon as you could so you could start the subjects actually giving you trouble. And once you did…it definitely was not fun.
All the characters on the paper seemed to scatter, you could hardly even focus. You could read the instructions and could read your notes, but it just felt like fuzz in your head. Why couldn’t you understand? You felt stupid sitting there staring at the work, pencil still in your hand. You almost felt like crying. You could feel your throat tighten and the tears well.
You were pulled out of your own head by the soft ‘clunk’ of a coffee cup on a plate being placed on the table, along with a plate of two chocolate scones. There stood the barista of course.
“Oh- um- sorry.” You quickly wiped your eyes and held up the plate with scones. “I only asked for one.”
“I know.” He said, eyebrows knitting in concern, probably at the sight of you visibly upset. “On the house. As thanks for driving off that woman.” He offered a small smile.
“Oh.” You breathed out, tears threatening to spill out again from the kindness given to you by someone who really didn’t have to show any. “Thank you so much.”
“It’s nothing, really.” He shrugged, his eyes darting to the paper in front of you. “Trouble with school?”
“Oh- this? Just some assignments and stuff I need to be doing. Feel like I’ve just been staring at the instructions for ten minutes.” You admitted, taking a bite of the warm scone.
“I might be able to help. I get decent grades.” He shrugged. “May I?” He gestured to the seat across from you, earning a playful scoff from you.
“Don’t you have to work?”
He looked over to the counter, and then to the glass door.
“I don’t see any customers.” He hummed.
Well, who were you to deny help when offered?
“Go ahead then.” You said, sliding your homework over to the now smiling boy as he sat across from you. He took the paper and hunched over just a bit to read it.
“Okay…what is it you don’t understand?” He asked you, his eyes meeting yours.
“I dunno…all of it..?”
“Okay, okay. Do you have notes or anything like that?” He asked, and you handed him your notes. He scanned the notes and slowly nodded. “Got it. Can I see your pencil?”
You handed him the pencil, lifting the cup of coffee to your lips and taking a long drink. The warmth of the latte spread through your body, and you relaxed.
“Try looking at it this way.” He slid the paper back to you after doing his own alterations. You didn’t expect very much, but your mind ran with it. Your eyes widened and you quickly grabbed the pencil from his hand and started jotting down your thoughts as to what you figured was right. The way he put it just…made sense. It worked.
“Oh my god, I get it now!” You exclaimed, looking at the boy with pure excitement. “You have no clue how hard I’ve been struggling with this! I can’t believe it! Thank you so much!” You grinned, and the boy grinned right back, flashing his pearly whites. You quickly started to complete the assignment.
“I’m glad I could make it make sense for you.” He smiled warmly.
“Yes, thank you so much. You’ve made this so much easier for me. I’ve had teachers try to explain it but they end up just telling me to figure it out.” You explained, eating some of one of the chocolate scones.
“Hm, sounds like Nevermore needs to hire better teachers.” He chuckled. “That sounds like a pain to deal with. Some people just learn differently is all.”
“I’m glad there are people who understand.” You smiled, finishing up your assignment. “Might need you to tutor me.” You joked, packing away your finished homework.
“I mean, for the person who drove away the Karen…” he trailed off.
“Oh, that really wasn’t that big of a deal. Everyone here doesn’t like people like me because they don’t know us and are scared of what we can do. It’s easy to drive them off.” You hummed, finishing a scone. “You’re cool. I didn’t mind getting her off your case.”
“You weren’t actually going to like…hurt her, right?”
“Of course not!”
“Gotcha, cool. Cool.” He chuckled, like he was relieved. Just then, someone walked in through the door. You were almost disappointed. This boy was really sweet.
“I guess you have to get back to work, huh?” You said, watching as he stood up.
“Yup. Sadly.” He shrugged. “Will you be here for a while?”
“Probably. Don’t really feel like going back and sitting in my dorm.” You said, getting out a notebook that thankfully wasn’t for school.
“Well…I wouldn’t mind actually tutoring you if you needed it.” He smiled, before going back behind the counter and taking the person’s order.
Well, holy shit. A cute boy just offered to tutor you. A cute boy who gave you a free chocolate scone. You smiled to yourself and opened your notebook, drinking the warm caramel latte while you took out your pen and put it to the paper.
Finishing your drink and second scone, you went ahead and packed up all your things, except your pen. You pulled out a napkin from the dispenser at the end of the table and scribbled something on it before taking the two plates and cup up to the counter.
“Here you are. I wasn’t sure whether to just leave it there or what.” You chuckled, and he smiled.
“I would have gotten it for you, but thank you anyway.” He smiled, taking them and putting them in a sink behind him. “You heading out?”
“Before I do…can I get the name of my maybe-future tutor?” You questioned sheepishly.
That grin of his made you swear your heart just did a flip.
“Tyler. Tyler Galpin.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Tyler.” You said, before sliding the napkin across the counter. “I’ll see you around.” You waved before exiting the shop, incredibly pleased with your time there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~☕️~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tyler couldn’t believe what he saw when he looked at the writing on the napkin. He just got a cute person’s number without even asking.
Text me!
555-555-5555
Sincerely, (Y/n)
He quickly put the contact in his phone. The way your eyes shone when he explained that question to you was brighter than the sun. He was snapped out of his thoughts by a woman with red hair and glasses walking into the shop. He shoved the note in his pocket and got back to work, thinking of the odd Nevermore kid as he made the customer’s matcha latte.
18+ MINORS DNI
Y/N had never truly experienced a magical snowfall before, especially since they had grew up in the UK where the snow doesn’t really stick, and if it does, the magic of the snow is short lived and turns into ice overnight. So Jane had decided since the two of them had a vacation from work, she would take them to her father’s cabin for a few days. The snow had already fallen beforehand so the area was covered in a blanket of white.
“It’s beautiful here.” They told her as she pulled up outside of the cabin.
“My father used to bring my mom and I here every winter when I was younger.” She told them as she watched their expression. “We spent every Christmas here.”
“That sounds amazing.” They smiled at her as she nodded.
“It was amazing.” She told them. “And it’s something I want to share with you.” She told them as the two got out of the car, Y/N grabbed both of their bags before Jane could object, allowing her to lead the way up the cold icy steps.
Once they were inside, Y/N admired the decor, the varnished walls with some pictures hanging on the walls. A lot from Jane’s childhood, whether it be from hunting or fishing with her father, or gardening or building snowmen with her mother. Y/N could really see how happy a young Jane was whenever she came here throughout the years.
“We will have to share a queen since I feel weird sleeping in the master.” She told them as they just smiled at her.
“That’s perfect.” They told her, not arguing with her point as there was a bigger bed in the master bedroom.
The two had soon settled in, with Jane in the kitchen, brewing up some hot cocoa as Y/N lit the fire, giving the cabin a warm glow.
“Here.” She spoke softly as she handed them the mug topped off with cream and chocolate shavings. “It’s hot cocoa, just how my mom used to make it.”
“Thank you.” They smiled at her, taking a sip of the hot beverage and making her laugh at the cream mustache it had left behind. “What?”
“As much as you look good with facial hair, I prefer to see your face clearly.” She told them as she wiped it away with her thumb before sucking it clean.
“Thank you Jane.” They whispered as they both soon sat down together in front of the fire, Jane sat between their legs and her back against their front as their arms were wrapped around her. “For sharing this part of your life with me, I truly appreciate it.”
“I want to keep you in my life Y/N.” She told them as she looked up in their eyes. “I can’t explain my feelings thoroughly yet because I am still understanding them myself, but I know that I don’t want to lose you, not ever.”
“I think I understand what you mean.” They replied as they looked into the fire. “I still get confused about how I feel but I know one thing for sure.” They looked back in her eyes. “The love I feel for you burns brighter than any flame we have ever seen.” Jane only turned around to straddle them as she kissed their lips passionately.
“I know I do feel the same.” She whispered as they let out a breathy chuckle, their eyes following hers towards the window. “It’s snowing.” They watched as she moved from their lap to get her boots and coat on. “Come on.” She was out of the door before Y/N had even moved from their spot. Quickly following her outside, a smile on their face as they watched her dancing without a care in the world. “Dance with me?” She asked as they joined her. Smiling as they wrapped their arms around her and spinning her around, admiring the snowflakes as they got caught on her lashes, seeing the brightest smile on her face as they danced, laughing as they dipped her before losing their footing as the two of them fell against the soft snow beneath them.
“Snow angels?” She laughed as they started to make their own, soon joining in with their antics and making her own before the two got up and started to have a snowball fight. Spending the night laughing and smiling as they played like children in the snow. Enjoying the simplicity of the moment before they had to return to the real world.
The Hashiras’ Starbucks Orders (As told by a barista)
Capo job reveal! During my lovely six months working at Starbucks, I have acquired enough knowledge of my craft to confidently predict people’s orders. Just today, a lady came up who looked like she would order a caramel ribbon crunch five minutes before closing, and she proceeded to do exactly that! Which got me thinking—I love my job, and I love KNY, so why not use this superpower to match the drink to the Hashira?
So, uh, here we are!
Kanroji Mitsuri
Tumblr media
-Starting off strong with our pink drink girlie! To be specific, it’s a pink drink with matcha cold foam. One of my coworkers gets some variation of this regularly and says it’s delicious.
-I couldn’t decide between matcha or pink drink for her so we met in the middle!
Kocho Shinobu
Tumblr media
-In my heart, I desperately want to give her a Dragon Drink, but we all know that is not what she would get. Perhaps on a special occasion!
-Shinobu is a black brewed coffee type of gal, because it’s fast and efficient and will get her through the day so she can return to her Douma-killing, hospital-running routine! Girlboss!
Iguro Obanai
Tumblr media
-We know from canon that Obanai can’t have heavier things without feeling sick, so one sip from Mitsuri’s drink would probably kill him instantly. Enter the light and fresh passion tea! It’s herbal and easy on the palate, which is right up his alley. His Starbucks dates with Mitsuri are officially saved!
-The pup cup is for Kaburamaru :D
Uzui Tengen
Tumblr media
-He likes the drinks with long names so it’s extra flashy when the baristas call them out. Therefore, he gets the White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew. -Besides, look how pretty that is!! I bet he has one of those bedazzled tumblers for extra flamboyance.
Tomioka Giyuu
Tumblr media
-To be honest, I have literally no explanation for this. I thought about him and my brain immediately provided Hazelnut Latte with oat milk. So that’s what he gets.
-It’s warm and comforting which my man definitely needs. Besides the oat milk implies he’s lactose intolerant which is hilarious LMAO rip Giyuu
Shinazugawa Sanemi
Tumblr media
-Sanemi strikes me as a pretty down to earth, no-nonsense kind of guy in his day to day. Therefore, he gets a classic Americano. (He’ll get it hot in the winter.)
-Surprisingly, I feel like he would be pretty nice to the baristas. A little gruff, but respectful and would probably tip his change. Unless you fuck with him, so best to just give him his coffee and bid him adieu.
Rengoku Kyojuro
Tumblr media
-Alright, alright, I know I’m taking the easy way out on this one. But I genuinely think he would get it because it looks like him and he finds it amusing! It’s popular with his juniors too, so he’d probably get them drinks as well. -I actually had this drink today and it was pretty good, so he would stick around for the bright flavor!
Tokito Muichiro
Tumblr media
-I wanted to say London Fog SO BADLY LMAO but let’s be real he’s like fourteen years old. The Vanilla Bean Frappuccino is every child’s favorite, which is valid because it’s fucking delicious.
-One day he would come in and slam a doppio espresso and give all the baristas a heart attack.
Himejima Gyoumei
Tumblr media
-Gyoumei definitely strikes me as a warm and cozy drink guy, so he gets a chai tea latte!
-It’s wholesome and delicious. He’ll cry when the baristas give it to him because it’s so good. Often comes by to pick up a drink for Genya because Sanemi refuses to do it himself.
Anyway that concludes my official analysis! Which is totally based in facts and data and not at all conjecture. As always if I missed your skrunkle feel free to infiltrate my ask box or replies! And I wanna hear your ideas too so do tell if you have a different take :D <3
Amidst the bitter winter wind, you and Bucky hurried through the snow-covered streets. Your entwined hands offered a reassuring warmth against the relentless cold. The air was frosty against your face, and each step was an effort against the gusts of wind that seemed determined to push you back.
Initially, the day had started with a casual stroll through the snowy streets, a desire to escape the confines of your home and relish in the magic of the winter wonderland outside. The snowfall had been gentle, the wind a soft hum in the trees as you and Bucky walked hand in hand, sharing laughter and giggles. However, your serene tranquility turned into chaos as a sudden storm broke out.
“Fuck, it’s so fucking cold,” you muttered between cackling teeth. Despite the winter gear, the biting wind found its way through the layers.
“Let’s head in there,” Bucky suggested, his voice barely audible above the howling wind as he pulled you along. The warm glow of a nearby coffee shop was a welcoming sight, and you sprinted towards it.
Entering the coffee shop brought an immediate contrast to the harsh weather outside. Laughter spilled from your lips, fueled by the adrenaline of escaping the storm. The dwindling of your chuckles mingled with the warmth of the cozy atmosphere filled with patrons and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
You brushed off the clinging snow from your hair and jackets. “We look like a mess,” Bucky chuckled, brushing off thick snowflakes from your hair as you did his coat.
Amidst the chatter of patrons and the enticing smell of coffee, Bucky planted a chilly kiss on your cold cheek. Despite the coldness of his lips, the gesture warmed you within, eliciting a shiver.
“Let’s find a snug spot to cozy up together,” he suggested, taking your hand and leading you deeper into the coffee shop with its old-world charm—vintage furniture, soft lighting, and an ambiance that felt like a refuge from the winter storm outside.
“Find us a seat, doll. I’ll handle the drinks,” he gestured towards the seats in the back before venturing to the counter to order.
You settled into a plush two-seater sofa in front of the fireplace, surprised and grateful that such a perfect spot had been left unoccupied. Nestled into a more intimate area, it offered a touch of privacy, ideal for you and Bucky to snuggle up and share sweet kisses without the prying eyes of the other patrons.
Shrugging off your jacket, you draped a nearby blanket over your legs, savoring the warmth of the crackling fire as it thawed your hands. Surveying the shop from your cozy spot, the atmosphere provided a perfect sanctuary from the winter storm.
Bucky returned with steaming mugs of hot cocoa with cream, handing you one as he plopped beside you. Nestling against him, cupping the warm mug, you did a little happy wiggle. The perfection of Bucky’s comforting presence, the crackling fire, and the cocoa filled you with contentment, eliciting a hum.
“Hmm, this is perfect. I’m so happy right now.”
“Me too, doll,” Bucky hummed, brushing his lips across your temple.
Lifting his bright red mug, he clinked it against yours in a silent toast to warmth and togetherness.
You moaned in delight as the rich chocolate flavor danced on your tongue, spreading the warmth throughout your body. The hint of chilly gave it a satisfying kick.
“Oh, that’s the stuff,” you moaned, shimmying in satisfaction.
Out of nowhere, Bucky playfully pinched your chin, leaning in for a sweet kiss at the corner of your mouth. The swipe of his tongue made your heart skip, your breath catching.
Chuckling, he pulled away. “You had some cream there,” licking his lips with a moan at the sugary taste.
Your ears burned as his passion warmed you within. Suddenly shy, you nuzzled into his sweater-clad shoulder, prompting another chuckle from Bucky, who kissed the crown of your head.
He stole another lingering kiss before draping an arm over your shoulder, the two of you sinking even deeper into the sofa. The intimacy of the coffee shop mirrored the warmth you shared as you sipped your drinks. The snowstorm outside faded away as the crackling fireplace and the soft murmurs of your sweet nothings became your soundtrack.
WandaNat x Fem!Reader
My take on a sick Wanda who can’t exactly contain her powers 😂❤️
“Where’s Wanda?,” Yelena mused over her mug of cocoa, the whipped cream on her nose made it hard for you to answer her over the laugh bubbling in your throat, and you settled into Nat’s hold when she answered instead., “Our little witch is asleep, she woke up with a high fever so we quarantined her in the room.”
“Oh no, do you think she’ll be okay by the end of the week?,” Kate’s true question wasn’t lost on you., “Don’t worry Bishop, no cold will keep her from perfecting your upcoming nuptials.,” your girlfriend chuckled beneath you., “Yeah, Wanda would never let an ailment keep her from planning a wedding. She actually had the flu while finalizing ours.,” you shivered at the nasty memory, a snotty nosed brunette with her hands all over the flower arrangements that you and Natasha slyly replaced as soon as she fell into her coma like sleeping state.
While the lot of you sat on the couches catching up, with the two of you occasionally teasing the engaged couple about what the future holds there was another storm a brewing just right out of your eyesight. Clouds of red billowed out from just beneath the closed bedroom door, slowly traveling throughout the hallway of your homey loft, and with no one’s concern falling to the encroaching smoke you were all in the dark on what was to come; literally. The smoke had permeated all of your minds, your bodies instantly slumping against the surfaces behind you as you’re all forced into a restless sleep.
The darkness slowly began to lift for you, and as you looked around you were stunned to see it was only you, and Yelena in a room that was completely foreign to you. Neither of you said a word, both too busy trying to figure out where you had ended up; wondering if some enemy of sorts might’ve slipped a hallucinogenic into your buildings water pipes. Then you heard a creaking noise, looking down you noticed you were both in aprons, with weird hats on, you blinked rapidly too, wondering if you’d suddenly become color blind, but the action never changed the visuals around you.
“Ladies!,” you turned to see Nat stood behind you, face stern, but with eyes just as confused as your own., “This will be your last chance to impress this company, the parchment paper here is for you to wrap the sushi rolls, not a single one should make it into the next room unwrapped; if they do, you’re both likely to be terminated.,” and as soon as the two of you hummed your understanding she was gone out the other door that led into a long hallway.
It became apparent to all of you that though you couldn’t verbalize, as Wanda controlled the dialogue, that you could still convey messages through your expressions. Yelena looked to you dumbfounded, waving her arms about as if to say ‘did this witch really turn us to black and white?,’ and you looked to her with an equally as dumbfounded look before the sound of the conveyor belt caught your attentions.
Sushi rolls began to speed by the both of you, and you were surely perplexed, because if you remember the iconic scene at all, you knew it was chocolates that Lucy and Ethel were meant to be handling. A soft chuckle reverberated in your mind at the tiny variation your lover must have made, knowing it was likely influenced by the dinner you and your girlfriends shared a couple nights prior; Wanda’s love for sushi transcended the normal worlds bounds.
“Yelena, what are we meant to do?,” you spoke frantically, your hands now flying around out of your control, you believe in an attempt to emphasize the unfolding catastrophe.
“I’m not sure, maybe if we eat some it’ll make the mess less?,” the blonde looked to you with an unimpressed gaze, clearly she wasn’t a fan of her given dialogue., “That sounds like a quick way to get fired, and we need this job.”
“Good, this place sucks, look at the sushi rolls. Not even filled enough, and the belt is clearly being run by satan himself.,” she grumbled while popping a roll into her mouth, then promptly spitting it out., “That’s disgusting.”
A laugh reel echoed behind the both of you, and your soul nearly left your body at the boom of it, then the sound of multiple footsteps echoed dramatically from the hallway outside the door. Yelena looked to you in a panic, then the both of you nodded and began to shovel the rolls into your aprons, then when they were full it was into the hats on your head, and when all else failed the both of you began to shovel them down your throat in an attempt to hide your obvious failure’s from the incoming bosses.
Wanda and Natasha entered the room with angered expressions, Kate was behind them with a clipboard in her hand, and a nervous smile that fell as soon as the women spoke., “Ladies, it’s come to our stock counter’s attention that only ten rolls have made it into the following room, care to explain where the rest managed to go?,” Wanda’s pointed stare told you she knew exactly where they went, of course she did, she was the all seeing puppet master in this weird dream state anyways.
Yelena looked beyond you., “We run now?,” you followed her gaze to the door then nodded. As soon as you passed the threshold the world was now in color, and you were stood outside of a quaint, large home that not so shockingly matched the street full of real estate.
Inside the house were the other four women, all in the most hideous of ‘mumu’s.’ Well, all of them outside of Wanda, who instead wore a gorgeous red dress, her bosom’s prominently on display, with a full face of makeup to boot.
“Natasha dear, can you grab the cheesecake?,” the redhead did as asked, not that she had much of a choice. She settled it down on the table in front of an uncharacteristically quiet Kate who was deep in thought., “Kate, honey, what’s on your mind?,” internally she cringed, never in her life would she ask the eager girl such a question, she never had the time necessary for the long winded answers.
“Well—.,” before Kate could spin into a story, Yelena slammed the door open, with a butchers knife raised high, cackling wildly at the sight of the terrified women clutching their chests., “Yelena! That isn’t funny!,” Natasha shrieks, and the blonde deadpans., “To you, but to me that was hilarious. All of your silly, scared faces bring me immense joys.”
“Yelena, take a seat, and hush your mouth.,” Natasha groaned, pulling her own chair into the table and slamming her fork into her slice of cheesecake before bringing it to her mouth. Surprisingly she could taste it, the creamy texture was clear on her tongue, and internally she was beaming at the fortunate discovery.
“Anyways.,” Kate blurts, an innocent look in her eyes as she goes to answer Nat’s question., “I was thinking about this time back in my youth.,” Yelena groaned unabashedly, but Kate just continued on., “Schenectady, NY, I was on the tractor with my daddy when a rogue pig began to run through the fields.,” she giggled., “I was about to end up making unintentional bacon, but then fortunately for us Mr. Wiggles squealed loudly.,” the knock you placed on the front door had the kitchen erupting in cheers as Kate’s story was once again put on pause.
“That must be my date.,” Wanda purred, then left the kitchen to open the door for you, her eyes trailed down your body, appreciating the floral suit you put on—that she chose—a hand reached for yours, and you shyly accepted it., “Let me introduce you to my friends kotenok.,” she chuckled when your head dropped, it was so easy to fluster you—truly—it was her favorite thing to do, she’ll never stop flirting with you.
As the door to the kitchen was swung open all the women’s eyes fell to you, and the redheads widened at the sight of you., “Y/N?,” you were not sure your role here outside of Wanda’s date, but now you realized your plot was deeper., “Nat? Long time no see.,” she scoffed, “Yeah, since you dumped me with no reason.”
Internally you cringed, your poor girlfriend was typecast as Dorothy—a great character, but poor thing was the butt of single-hood jokes, and you worry for your other girlfriends sake; Natasha will not hold back her thoughts later.
“Well, it’s clear you all have better things to do. Y/N and I will be going to dinner now.,” Wanda cleared the rooms tense atmosphere with words that weren’t to be questioned., “And if you play your cards right, you’ll be enjoying your dessert in no time.,” she whispered into your ear while pushing you back into the living room, but when you spun around the scene had completely changed.
No longer were you in the living room designed from an 80’s catalog, but instead you stood in a quaint two bedroom apartment in you assumed to be upper Manhattan based on the purple door with the yellow frame around the eyehole. Just as you were about to explore the space the door flew open, and all of your friends piled in.
“Yelena, you can’t be serious.,” Kate whines while following the blonde to the couch. “Oh, but I am Kate Bishop! As serious as a heart attack!,” she exasperates., “You’re going to deny the poor girl a second date over fries?”
“No, of course not, don’t be silly Kate, it’s all about what the fries represented to me!”
“Which is?” she humors the blonde., “All food!”
The brunette looks back to you pleadingly., “Can you believe this?,” you chuckle and nod., “Yelena doesn’t share food Kate, I once saw her wrestle with a seagull to get her fries back.,” the younger girls eyes widened, turning back for confirmation and receiving it by way of the blonde’s smirk., “I don’t share food Kate.,” she winked, then to prove her point she slapped the girls hand away from her chocolate muffin.
Natasha settled her body behind yours, arms wrapping around your waist, with her chin resting on your shoulder., “Have you given more consideration to going out with me yet?,” you rolled your eyes and shrugged the woman off you., “Natasha, we’ve been over this, you are not getting a second chance with all of this. Not my fault you slept with someone else.”
The redhead groaned as you walked out of her reach., “Y/N! We were on a break! Let it go.”
Your eyes widened while facing the fridge, the witch was two for two now with the typecasting mistakes, Natasha being Ross—though kinda hilarious, will likely not sit well with her.
Wanda threw her hands in the air, effectively silencing the words she’d almost let you say., “Knock it off, the both of you, the argument is tired and I need your help to decide if this is good enough for Vis’s work potluck tomorrow.”
All the hairs on your body stood up at the name of her former partner, it stung a bit that she would typecast him in place as her Chandler, but it wasn’t like you had any time to really care when you were being physically propelled towards the dining room table.
“Wanda, oh my goodness! This is delicious.,” Yelena groaned, her hands soaked red from the sauce of the lasagna she shoveled in her mouth. Kate grimaced at the sight of it all., “No thank you Wands, I don’t eat cheese or meat.,” she grabbed an apple then returned to the couch.
“Y/N? Care to try your best friends dish?,” the forkful was soon pushed passed your plump lips, and you hummed your approval for the pasta. The redhead and you shared a personal look, and you could see she was trying to quell your anxieties, ‘a dream is just a cumulation of many meaningless thoughts,’ you could imagine the words falling from her lips, as they have many times after one of your lifelike nightmares. You blinked three times, and the woman smiled fondly at your display of love.
“It’s delicious Wan, Vis will love it!,” you beamed your scripted line to the woman who smiled at you a little too fondly for it to have been platonic, but such is the way of an altered reality you presume., “I’m glad to hear it.,” and just as you went to take a seat on the couch it dematerialized before your eyes, as did the rest of the scenery. An odd sensation consumed your form, then suddenly you were gasping.
In real time Wanda’s body jolted off of the mattress in a fit of harsh coughs, briefly releasing all of you from the trippy mind fog. Yelena and Kate shared a look as they booked it for the front door with their bags and a distant shout back., “A hotel works just fine for us.,” Natasha smirked down at you from over your shoulder, your body having slumped into hers, and just as she went to speak she was silenced. The both of you watched as the color of the apartment faded into a murky black and white.
This time though you’d had full motor control, it was apparent that your sickened girlfriend was losing her ability to hold much control. With quick footsteps you approached the room, Natasha hot on your heels, as the both of you were honestly worried about her wellbeing. Upon entering the room you saw Wanda in a robe sat before the vanity, she didn’t look like she had in every other sequence though.
This time the sickness had the upper hand over her, the tip of her nose was a much darker shade of grey from the rest of her face, as were the bags beneath her eyelids. Nonetheless, she smiled fondly at the both of you., “My loves.,” she croakily coo’d, all your previous qualms based on her choices faded away at the sight of the soft smile that accompanied her words. Natasha’s were simply pushed to the back of her mind, to obviously be fought over later.
“Oh baby, you don’t look well.,” you softly say as you approached her, her nose scrunched in offense, but when she released the hold a box of tissues had materialized in your hands. Natasha chuckled, remembering last nights sitcom of the hour, and how you’d told Wanda she was basically Samantha’s witchy twin., “That’s not very nice.,” she whined, but her soured mood only lasted a second, because in the next you were handing her a tissue, and scooping her body up and into your chest.
“Most of what you’ve done today hasn’t been.,” Natasha grumbled, clearly not letting anything go, but when Wanda looked to her with a pout she temporarily resolved., “Let’s get you back in bed. Natty will get you some medicine.,” you sent the redhead a pointed glare and she went into to the ensuite swiftly, coming back with a cup of NyQuil, and a glass of water., “Open up.”
Wanda tiredly did as told, grimacing shortly after as the bitter cough syrup coated her tongue. You quelled her whimpers with a box of apple juice from your stash, before then urging her to drink the glass of water as well., “Get some rest love.,” you coo’d, hands gentle as they stroked her sweaty hair out of her face., “Lub you.,” both of your hearts skipped at her whispered words., “We love you too detka.,” Natasha confirmed, then you heard a cuffing noise, looking down to see she’d restricted Wanda’s powers., “They’ll time off before she even wakes up, but I refuse to receive any more horrible roles, now lets go watch a movie.,” you shook your head in disbelief while chuckling, then accepted her outstretched hand anyways.
That night Natasha and you slept on the couch, so when Wanda woke up in a bed full of tissues instead of your comforting bodies she pouted. Walking out she found the both of you in an entangled mess of limbs on the couch., “Cute.”, she gently brushed the hair off your face, then placed soft kisses to both of your foreheads. She was honestly feeling so much better after all of the given meds and rest, so she decided to take care of breakfast in a show of her thanks.
Bits and pieces of the oddest dreams kept flashing through her mind while flipping the pancakes, and a frown befell her face at just how real all of felt as it replayed for her., “Sweetheart, give me the spatula, and run.,” you suddenly spoke from besides her, and when she looked to you she saw an angry Natasha quickly approaching from behind you., “What?,” you grabbed the spatula, kissed her lips, then lightly shoved her., “Honey run!”
“You can try to run, but I’ll eventually get you!,” Natasha shouted, slapping your ass in warning as she brushed right on passed you.
“Natasha! Baby, what did I even do?!,” Wanda shrieked from down the hallway, you shook your head in amusement while plating up their pancakes., “What did you do?!,” she scoffed., “Wanda, you typecast me as Ross Gellar!,” the witches gasp was far too audible to you, and that was because she came barreling back into the kitchen from the other entrance, and before you could protest she was using you as a shield.
“I-I, was that all really happening?,” she stumbled over her words, the confusion was evident in her tone, you nodded gently, turning to peck her forehead just before Natasha reentered., “Wanda, why?! Is that how you really see me?,” you held back a giggle, finding Natasha’s whining rather adorable actually. Wanda however was mortified, she shook her head violently against your shoulder blade, and you could see Natasha’s anger melting the longer she stared at the witch clinging to you. Then when you teasingly stuck your bacon out for her to nibble on she was back to baseline, approaching you eagerly, and moaning at the salty, yet sweet flavor of the meat.
“Am I still in trouble?,” she whispered timidly, you spun around to face her., “Not unless you really want Vision back.,” her face scrunched in hardcore offense., “Absolutely not, I’ve got all I could ever want or need here with my wives.”
“Right answer.,” you settled a kiss to her lips, then another to Natasha’s as your turned back around and headed towards the table to eat., “Come now ladies, let’s enjoy the food.”
Everything was going great too, giggles filled the room as you reminded the witch just how everything played out., “Did they really run out of here like the world was on fire?,” you nodded while sipping on your warm mug and Wanda broke out into another fit of laughter., “Always so dramatic.,” Nat added., “Yeah, can’t wait to see them drunk at their wedding.,” you teased, but before the conversation could go on your lovers looked to you with concern as an unexpected, harsh cough tore from your throat.
“Please, nooo.,” Natasha groaned, because as hypothesized, following your cough came a loud boom as storm clouds formed above the dining room table, and as another cough tore through you, lightning cracked and rain fell. Soaking the entirety of the table, along with you and your lovers., “Please, remind me again why I married you magical little freaks.”
Wanda ignored the grumbling redhead, turning to face your pouting form with a smile, and beckoning you over towards her with a finger., “It’s okay my love, get some rest.,” and as you settled into her arms red tendrils flowed out and into your mind, locking you into a deep slumber, and settling the brewing storm., “Because I can do just that, and let’s not act like you’re not an absolute menace when sick.,” Natasha blushed, and bowed her head at the call out, then she approached you both., “She is pretty cute.,” Wanda smiled., “The cutest.”
