per my nutritionist, I'm on this loose plan to regain my hunger drive by eating regularly, even when I'm not hungry (which is pretty much always), and pushing myself to keep eating even when I'm satiated (which is usually after two bites), and let me tell you. it sucks so bad. I'm doing it but god, have you ever eaten an okay sandwich and thought "I wish this was even more of an endless miserable slog" because that's where I'm at right now

idk what this would be considered but I’m seriously wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or has in the past lol so like basically I am just…tired of consuming food. I hate basically everything I eat atm (I have arfid and have always had “safe” foods) nothing tastes good, nothing feels good to eat, and thinking about the fact that I have to eat 2-3 times a day every day for the rest of my life sounds miserable bc food just does NOT sound good. I hate choosing what to eat and tbh not sure what to do cause I haven’t found a meal replacement shake that i would like long term lol

i have been actively trying to retrain myself to eat breakfast since 2020 and ive gotten to the point where i WILL make the breakfast but then i carry it around with me and look at it sometimes. it keeps me company until lunch, like a pet.

I have a strange relationship with ementaler (cheese), like I’m not really sure I like it? But sometimes I crave it, so I will buy it and have to eat the whole thing myself because nobody else eats it, and again I’m not sure I like it.

Maybe it’s because it tastes a bit like warm childhood summer vacation and driving south through Europe stopping for mediocre gas station ham and cheese sandwiches.

Does anyone else have foods like that? Or is it just me XD

this is semi related to food posting but ummmm if you’re going to reblog yummy food to your blog it’s probably worth checking if the username of the source makes some joke / comment about being fat or food for “fatties”… like the kinds of assumptions that that makes about fat peoples’ diets are actually dangerously bigoted and should under no circumstances be engaged with. Repost the pic if you want but don’t partake, even passively, in rhetoric that causes such immense harm and actively gets people denied healthcare.
