Oh my god these birds are like, the shape ever. Please i beg you can u post a vid of you petting them because my brain keeps registering the white feather bits as spiky and i need to know that they are smooth and shiny and soft like a bug or perhaps a mouse thank u 🐦

I would say normally they're pretty soft, if a bit sleek and oily on the contour feathers, but right now they're just full porcupine mode because they're molting.
