I love being aroace! Idk how to describe but it feels so freeing to know my identity. It’s nice to not be restricted by the rules of society and all that. I just to get to be me and not have to worry about getting a partner, what a relief! It’s just great I love it. I just wish it was more accepted. I get pity saying that I’ll be alone forever, like no that’s my ideal! That’s the dream baby. AGHH it’s so cool being aroace I have to share how I feel!

It is now my personal goal as a writer to create queer stories for all the major stereotypes

Like come on, how have we not had a gay Christmas romance? (I'd sure as hell watch cheesy hallmark Christmas movies if they were gay lmao)

Or a cliche coffee shop meeting between two lesbians?

Or two aroace royalty in an arranged marriage trying so hard for a romance to please the other until they're like oh, dang, we just realized the other is aroace, let's rule this kingdom as best friends instead

Or a transgender princess/prince who is so insecure but turns out their fairy tale lover adores them as they are?

We get the same cliches reprinted over and over with straight cisgender people and while that's fine I want to see diversity in those cliches

I want to see queer normalized

I want in every crevice, every niche because it belongs

Because we belong.

That's my dream as a writer.

I'm aroace, but I have crushes once in a blue moon. I can count on one hand the number of crushes I've had in my entire life. I recently developed a crush on a girl in my class and y'all, I swear to god, why does nobody talk about how wonderful having a crush is??? She's so pretty! And I get to be around her! And I get to think about how pretty and nice she is! And it makes me so happy! It's amazing! Why don't people talk about this? I see people talking about their partners all the time, but never about crushes and I don't know why. Crushes are amazing! It's like the universe is giving you a big hug and a lovely person who makes your stomach feel like it's in a wave pool! I don't know if I'll ever ask this girl out, but that's okay! I can be her friend and we can keep hanging out and I can keep thinking she's pretty and sweet and wonderful!
