I have a question for the Ao3 writers here on Tumblr

Do you like having your stories in collections? Like if someone makes a collection that's about a fandom or of stories they would love to re read

Would you rather they bookmark add it to collections, or invite the story to the collection?

Since archive made it default that stories do not have the "add to collection" unless a author turns it on. I've noticed very few authors have turned that button back on. So I'm curious what's the thoughts of writers.

It's called a selfie

For those of you that are interested in the whole story thing. I do have it up on archiveofourown. However, BIG however, I don't usually link it because it's not age appropriate and I know there are some younger generations that follow me here and on other social media.

The story it's self teaters into some immoral subjects and acts that many find offensive and I don't want to be the person that is the cause of another's therapy in any shape or form. No matter how miniscule it may be.

Now about the photo.

This is Goodie (the bar keep) and Tonie (age 16ish.) Less than a week after Goodie found him and introduced him to Sledge.

When Goodie found him tonie was malnourished and very scrawny. So while sledge built up his confidence and body Goodie made sure Tonie experenced what was left of his childhood. Basically forcing him to go out and have fun.

Goodie took this picture on their first night out and tonie was still unsure of him and afrade of everyone else.

Missing Thorin/Bilbo Fanfic!

You could call this an act of desperation, but I thought I’d post here on the off chance that one of you might know what fic I’m talking about.

It’s the one where Thorin is a “ ghost” or a black fog entity that lives in Bilbo’s house. It’s modern setting if I remember correctly.

Do you ever have those moments where you want to find a very specific fanfic story on Tumblr but just can't.

Don't forget Ao3 allows you to bookmark external work!

And you can add a lot of details about the story so it's easy to find it like you normally would do a tag search in your bookmarks.

I MEAN:

"My mother always said she named me after Harmonia. Harmonia is-"

"-the Goddess of harmony and concord," Riddle supplied.

Hermione nodded and explained, "In Greek mythology, Harmonia is the daughter of War and Love. Later she married a prince, Cadmus of Thebes."

A smirk was on Riddle's face as he commented quietly, "On their wedding day, Cadmus made Harmonia a present."

Hermione didn't understand the dark humour dancing in Riddle's eyes and he obviously didn't want to share. He merely continued his story,

"He presented her with a golden necklace."

Riddle snickered softly, obviously enjoying some kind of inside-joke. He leaned back on the sofa, his arms spread wide and lying on the backrest, and concluded,

"A magical necklace which granted the wearer eternal youth… eternal life."

Riddle's starkly blue eyes snapped back to Hermione. The dark smirk still curved his lips as he surveyed her.

"Cadmus and Harmonia," he sighed amusedly. "In the end, the Gods played foul with them. Cadmus was turned into a snake."

The smirk on his face widened and he asked, "Do you know the rest of the story?"

Hermione nodded, confused by the odd glint in his eyes. She tensed as Riddle suddenly slid closer to her on the sofa. He slung an arm around Hermione's shoulders, pulling her nearer. His other hand gently tucked her curly hair behind her ear.

"Grieved by her husband's transformation, Harmonia stripped naked and beckoned Cadmus to come over to her," Riddle whispered in Hermione's ear, his melodious voice sending shivers down her spine. "In his snake-form, Cadmus complied with her."

Hermione gasped as she then felt Riddle's hand running from her shoulder down her arm while he whispered, his breath hot against her skin,

"He slithered over her body, fondling her."
