- he'd be SO nervous around you, but at the same time try to look like the cool house warden he is

- ace teases him way too much, whispering and elbowing him obviously whenever you walk by, or straight up waving you over

- trey, on the other hand, would gently encourage him; try to get him to learn about your favourite things

- it’d take a little bit, but if you hadn’t already he would talk to you probably after class, and offer to study with you to get your grades up even if theyre already great

- he absolutely melts at your praise

- riddle just thinks you’re the sun, you’re so gorgeous to him

- definitely stares, and blushes if you notice while hes obviously admiring you

- ace has been in a relationship in the past (his middle school girlfriend NO IM NOT MAKING THAT UP HE FR GHOSTED HER), but when it comes to you? it’s so much more complicated

- will go on and on to deuce about how much he likes you and why

- tries to be really confident around you to get your attention

- then would ask you out real casually

- literally loves you so much

- writes letters to his mom about you

- there’s no way this man hasn’t been in a relationship before, he’s so social!

- he flirts with you 24/7, but it’s hard to tell if he’s joking around or if he actually means it

- likes all of your social media posts, and definitely would stalk your account to see what you’ve been up to

- not afraid to talk to you at all, one day he might come up behind you, wrap his arm around your shoulder and start making conversation as if you’re the best of friends

- very good at hiding he likes you

- but tries to make it obvious

- if you’re oblivious and don't get the hint… he’d just ask you out

a/n: here's a little pre!relationship jake and ace that nobody asked for. i wasn't going to post this at first, but decided to since it's been a minute

“This counts as kidnapping, you know.”

Natasha sends you a coy grin from beside you. “It’s not kidnapping if you came with me willingly.”

“Because you told me we were going to the thrift store! Not the boys’ stupid car wash thing,” you huff like a child in the passenger’s seat with your arms crossed over your chest and everything.

“It’s not stupid. It’s for charity.” Nat shrugs.

“Which charity is that again?” You roll your eyes.

“I… don’t remember. But Javy invited us and we like Javy, right?”

“I guess,” you grumble.

It’s her turn to roll her eyes at your antics as she pulls into the lower campus parking lot. Natasha follows the poorly designed signs into the wash line. “That’s the spirit, Ace,” she pinches your cheek playfully, making you swat at her hand.

You continue to complain about all the other ways you could’ve been spending your Saturday while Natasha ignores you by turning up the radio. Between her rendition of Faith Hill’s This Kiss and your thirty second power nap, a knock at your window makes your heart jump and your eyes open wide.

Putting down your window, you’re met with a shirtless Javy Machado who’s wearing the biggest grin you’ve ever seen. “Hey! You made it!”

It was hard not to smile at his genuine excitement of seeing you both. “Against my will,” you say despite the growing amusement on your features. “Nat told me she was taking me to lunch and thrifting. She left out the part of the car wash between those two activities.”

Javy plants his hands on his hips. “At least you got some free lunch,” he pauses before looking over your shoulder at Natasha. “Right?”

You ramble on about how Nat owes you more than just lunch after the stunt she’s pulled, not noticing the flustered look on your best friend’s face as she unabashedly admires Javy from the driver’s seat.

Neither Javy nor Natasha pay attention to your words as they get caught in one another’s gaze.

It’s only when Bradley, also shirtless, walks up to the car and claps Javy on the back that the two of them snap out of their little stupor.

“I’m surprised to see you here, Ace. I thought you said these fraternity events were a load of baloney.” Bradley slides his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose so you could see the amused look in his eyes.

“Again, I was kidnapped,” you raise your brows at him.

“I did not kidnap you!” Natasha chides.

Ignoring her remark, you eye Javy and Bradley with a wrinkle of your nose. “If I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought this was for the Boys Without Clothes charity.”

“Haha,” Bradley laughs dryly. Spotting his friend who’s finishing up with the car in front of you, he cups his hands over his mouth with a sly grin. “Hey, Jake! Look who it is!”

The mention of Jake Seresin makes your heart rate increase and your cheeks warm up. It’s not like you didn’t know he was going to be here, of course he was, he was in this fraternity. You just didn’t think you’d have to acknowledge him at all. With all his flaunting and showboating, you would have thought he would be too busy to stop and say hi to you and Natasha, yet here he was making his way over to her car with that overconfident smirk on his face.

Just like his buddies, he is also shirtless and proud. The sight of him irks you, pulling an immediate scowl on your lips. However, you can’t deny that he looked good. His skin, sheened with sweat, defined the figure that he clearly worked hard to take care of. He was a sight to be looked at and he knew it. You hated that you knew it too.

“See something you like, sweetheart?”

That cocky, Texas drawl sets the tips of your ears on fire. You flit your gaze up and, just as you suspected, he was standing with that bothersome smile on his face. You tear your eyes away from him in favor of looking up to the sky. “In your dreams, Seresin.”

“Only every night,” he winks.

Your mouth falls slack at his words and you hate that your brain chose this moment to short circuit. With a huff of annoyance, you go back to crossing your arms across your chest and falling back against your seat. “You are insufferable.”

Jake bites back quickly. “Insufferable. That’s a new one.”

Your attention has been so attuned to Jake that you didn’t realize the other boys have already started on Natasha’s car.

He leans his arm against the top of the car door and lowers himself so he is eye to eye with you. You freeze, suddenly feeling hyper aware of his presence. Even with the sweat covering his body he still smelled like cologne and the mint chewing gum he carries around in his pocket. There’s barely an inch of space amongst you as he takes his lower lip between his teeth. “At least it’s better than the other things you like to call me.”

“Oh, get a room, you two.” Natasha’s voice pulls you from Jake’s trance.

Jake laughs, pushing off the car to grab a sponge from the bucket behind him. “Close your window, Ace. I don’t want you getting all wet.”

You barely move, fuming with irritation and another feeling you can’t quite place that forms in the pit of your stomach. Nat rolls your window up as she guffaws at your stunned expression.

“Close your mouth too. You’re gonna catch flies.”

You whip around to look at Natasha who is clutching her stomach from her silent fits of laughter.

Covering your face with your hands, you slouch lower into your seat. “Shut up, Nat.”

"How many days has it been?" Baekhyun asks as he laid on the stone floor. Letting the younger guys have the stone beds, he was getting to know them all as time went by.

The cage that held the captive hounds that were being captured by the corrupted hell hound was slowly growing crowded. Each time one would fall, they were brought and thrown into the cage with the others.

"I think it's been months at this point, mate." Chan piped up from his place by the corner next to Mark who stared into the abyss. "I doubt the others will even come looking for us with how he switches back to himself."

Turning around, Kun shakes his head. Not wanting to accept that his friend had been doing such things to the pack. "He'll come to his senses. He can't be far into the void." He says.

"Kun," Kai comes over to him after trying to bust the door with Lucas. Sensing the fear seeping through his skin, he places a hand on his shoulder as he looks him in the eye. "He's already a void. That nogistune is ripping him apart each day."

"Alright, puppies." A clap is heard as the hell hound comes in with a wicked smile on his lips. "Who wants to become a soldier for me?" Showing with his hands to the demonic warriors that appeared behind him, dressed in all black with face masks covering their entire face. Only the eyes showing in a bright green color. The hell hound smirks smug of the chaos he was making with the dark evil spirit of a nogistune inside him.

"Why does this dog eat so much? He eats more than me!" Kyun huffed as he sat with Lisa while they threw slobber filled tennis balls at the big dog that she had claimed was still a pup.

"He is a puppy!" Slapping his arm, Lisa giggled as she wrapped her arms around her boyfriends arm after he let out a sound from the slap. "You just don't understand him like I do."

Letting out a snort as he grabbed the tennis ball back from Love. "I think I understand animals better than you," he says as he throws the ball again for the dog to chase after.

"Have you guys seen Johnny around?" Haechan asks as he comes over with his son waddling in front of him. Minjun holding a teething ring as his baby teeth were still coming in. "I asked him if he went to the post office and he called saying he was almost here. I really need those diapers I ordered for Minjun."

Looking to each other, the couple shake their heads as they hadn't seen the taller hound around.

"I asked him when he came to the house if he could pick up some groceries since we had a little accident inside." Lisa mentions. Kyun only glowering at Love as the dog came back with the tennis ball again. His expensive lamp in the living room gone forever in pieces by an excited dog.

"Well, if you see him. Tell him I'm looking for him, please." With that, the young father leaves the couple as he trails behind his son that waddled off.

Running over with boxes and bags of groceries, Johnny bumps into Haechan that was squat down to see what Minjun was holding. "Hey!" He smiles as he sees them. "I got your stuff." Placing down a couple boxes, he's confused by the solid stare that Haechan has until it changes quickly. "You okay?"

"Huh? Oh yeah," Haechan waves him off as he plucks the worm out of the baby's hands. "Just spacing out." He smiles, throwing the worm behind him as Minjun whines. "It's not a gummy worm, you silly puppy." Scooping up his child, he thanks Johnny as he picks up the box of diapers with his free hand and walks off leaving the tall hound wondering why Haechan had spaced out with such a frightening stare.

●Hi again. It has been a while, I can only say life has kind of caught me in a loop but I'm back and Ready to continue my hobby of making fics once more.

《Some Pointers》:

I am a Sfw/Nsfw Blog, 18+ or older are allowed so minors beware!

This is an X Reader insert

I do small fictions, head cannons and Drabbles, any big fan fiction series will be written elsewhere.

•●Rules before Request●•

This is an x reader insert blog, anything to do with character x Character is completely out of the question for me unless it has to do with a poly relations with Said reader. Shipping has never been my thing and will continuously not be.

Reader will out of be gender neutral/Female. Writing for male readers have never been my strong suit and I best not make assumptions or lazily write how I think a man acts since I don't know how they do act in fictional situations.

No Oc or Oc insert, with doing oc it would be a long process of knowing every detail of the oc as well as their personality and then trying to insert it into the story. For Me that a bit of a Hassel to do and would take up to much time to do so I prefer to leave this out for now.

I do take sub or Dom readers, both are fine by me as long as you don't request anything to extreme. I will also let you know if the request is something to uncomfortable to write.

You can request up to 3-5characters or 1 dorms per ask. I wish to keep each ask nice an detailed as possible so I would like to only have a small amount to write for that way i can take time on each one without taking to long on it or half-ass writing it.

I will only write in 2nd person. 3rd or 1st person is a no go for me.

Dark topics are okay, I don't mind writing for them as long as you don't not request anything extremely serious or straight uncomfortable for others or myself.

I can and will delete ask that I straight up refuse to do, I have the will to do so especially it is something I don't agree with or not wanted on my blog. So be be aware of what you request.

Yandere ask are also fine. But be known that I may write them In the way I know them or prefer writing them.

I do take time to write my fictions so will take time for me to post. Since I have a life outside of my blog I will post and get request done when I have my free time, any spamming I will block on-site.

I only ask that each person send a max of 2 ask. As much as I love request everyone deserves a chance to put in a request, any more than 2 ask from the same person will be deleted and ignored.

Minors are out or the question.(unless characters of age 16+ i can count as a romantic interest but nothing more) Unless asking for platonic fic, you might as well not request anything from this blog cause I will not do it.

I do not go by cannon all the time, if I want to ignore cannon rules I will.

It wasn’t supposed to happen this way. Yet, as everything always is with you and Jake, nothing went to plan. Especially when you walked out of the bathroom looking like that.

It’s not like Jake hasn’t seen you freshly showered before. It wasn’t because your skin was glowing and still slightly damp and it also wasn’t because he knew you were definitely wearing nothing under the towel wrapped around your body (although that was a bonus).

It was the fact that you were walking out of your shared bathroom and into your shared bedroom. It was the reminder that you were his and he was yours. That the two of you finally saved up enough to move in together.

The thought alone sent shivers of pleasure down his spine. Imagine how he felt actually living it.

The rest of it was a blur. His clothes and your towel were scattered across the room within seconds—the both of you thrown into bouts of pleasure than only the other could provide.

Did he regret it? Of course not. He could never regret you. He just wished things could’ve been more romantic. This was not what he had in mind for your first time.

Your muffled giggles pull him from his post orgasmic haze.

“What?” He questions. His lips quirk up with an amused smile.

You continue to giggle, pressing your nude body to his side.

His arm wraps tighter around your waist as he kisses the top of your head.

“Oh my god, now I get why you were so popular in college.” You look up at him with a teasing grin, wrinkling your nose.

Jake groans, burying his face into your hair. “Ace…”

“I’m serious! Now I can say I’ve officially been conquered by Jake Seresin himself. Make all those girls jealous.” You gently tap your finger to the tip of his nose with a dopey grin.

Jake slips out from under you with a breathy laugh. You whine at the loss of contact only to settle upon realizing he’s only shifting positions. He props himself up on his elbows and looks down at you with what can only be described as love in his eyes.

He brushes a stray strand of hair from your face. “Please don’t compare our first time to that. This was supposed to be romantic.”

You snort, teasingly pinching the bare skin of his shoulder. “This was your idea of romance?”

He responds with a nip of his own to your thigh, making you squeal. “Obviously not. I just wish things were more perfect. I wish I had more self control so I could’ve made the moment more romantic, you know? Candles, rose petals on the bed sheets…”

“Careless Whisper and body oil? Yeah, no thanks.” Trailing your fingertips down his muscular biceps, you reach down to lace one of your hands with his. “It doesn’t need to be romantic.”

“Yeah, but you deserve your first time to be perfect.”

“It doesn’t have to be perfect.” You coax him to lay his body weight on you. His head now rests on your chest and you faintly run your hands through his golden hair.

Jake shakes his head with a pout. “Everything’s gotta be perfect for my girl.”

“Oh, honey everything already is, as long as I’m experiencing it with you.” You tilt his chin up slightly so he’s able to see how serious you are.

“God, I love you,” he sighs before pressing a soft kiss to your plush lips.

You moan into his touch as your mouths dance in familiar synchronization. What once started as sweet and loving turned heated and passionate with just one touch of Jake’s hand to your breast.

He gently palms at your skin, sending a sweltering heat between your thighs. Your mouth falls open at his repeated motions and you think to yourself, How the hell did you get so lucky?

Pulling away, you pant out hurriedly, “Prove it.”

The smirk on his face makes your heart flutter. “Oh, I plan on it, sweetheart.” The bright green of Jake’s eyes turns a darker shade at your words and suddenly you can feel him everywhere.

You're gripping onto his shoulders tightly with your head thrown back in pleasure as his lips make their way down your neck.

“Wait,” push him back just a little.

His lust filled eyes soften in concern.

“I almost forgot.” You rest your hand right on his heart—the heart that beats just for you—and smile. “I love you too.”

The grin that adorns his face is enough to let you know that you were in for a long night.

Heya! Meg here! Your all-suportive aroace gal! And this is my story!!

I went through the classic transformation:

slightly homophobic → accepter → ally → queer af

I was the "I don't care as long as you don't show that to children" type of h0m0ph0bic

One of the last cases I remember myself posting homophobic comments was when the news of a possible Frozen 2 had started circulating around internet and almost everyone wanted Elsa to be a canon lesbian.

15 year old me was "worried about little kids". I commented something like, 'We can't do that. Kids have always been taught that the prince gets the princess. What if they ask questions?'

Unlike many haters nowadays, I had the good luck of encountering a kind lady, who saw my comment and patiently explained that kids can be taught everything, that diversity is a good thing and all. She didn't critize me, or use harsh words. If she had been rude to me, like allies are often to haters, I might have grown bitter and never discovered my true self. I'll never forget you, nice woman!

But, what truly transformed me into a raging ally was the #loveislove. I had seen the hashtag many times before. But one day, I saw it on a post and just kind of stared at it in awe. I remember thinking, "I'm an idiot. I'm a a-hole. Who do I think I am??? Hating people that are in love? Wanting to stop them from being in love?? Aren't I always going on about how love is the most sublime feeling and everything? How are queer people any different?"

After that, I educated myself. I started reading on LGBTQ+ community, learning things I never knew I never knew (reference intended) and becoming a true ally and supporter.

It didn't take much time after that to learn that I wasn't just an ally. I was part of the community, of this huge family that I had been protecting. My people, where I felt truly accepted and understood.

Finding out I was in the ace and aro spectrum was the biggest step towards accepting and cherishing myself for who I am. And I hope that I can be as much help to questioning kids as I want to be.

So yes, I'm aroace and proud! My pronouns are whatever you guys feel like calling me, even nor/mal. (In your face, haters)

I will not tolerate any type of hate or invalidation towards anyone. My blog is a safe space for everyone, no matter how "convoluted" your gender or orientation might be. Allos are pleaded not to be offended by my often hostile-looking posts. Just because I'm sex-repulsed, doesn't mean you're not valid. I love you all!

Open Quadrants: Main Trolls Edition

inspired by those ‘send me a quadrant and ill tell you how to get that quad’, only in one convenient masterpost. i mostly wrote this as a sort of starting off point for anyone who is interested in shipping with my trolls, though i’ll be splitting it up between main trolls / secondary trolls / side trolls to it’s less of a textwall and i can procrastinate on other stuff but still put out posts

i only plot and reserve quadrants for friends + rp partners who ive done a couple threads with already so i feel comfortable interacting w. them ooc lol, but if we are friends/rp partners and u have an idea for a ship lmk!

Katrin - 11 sweeps / ~23 years, Female, Bi (Male preference)

♥ - Katrin isn’t interested in filling this quadrant at all. She’s still hung up on her ex, and doesn’t think she deserves to try dating again because she’ll just ruin someone else’s life like she did after her first relationship. If she notices someone is probably developing feelings for her, she’ll avoid them as much as she can and hope they change their mind.

♦ - Katrin… Needs a moirail badly. Katrin also really does not want a moirail because the last thing she wants to do is burden someone with her problems. The closer she gets to someone, the more likely she is to isolate herself from them if she’s feeling down or needs help with something. She’s also a pretty terrible moirail, given that she doesn’t know how to help others and blames herself for being unable to do anything. This makes plotting a pale quad for her downright impossible, unfortunately.

Nancor - 12 sweeps / ~25 years, Male, Pan

♥ - Closed. Nancor is currently not looking for a matesprit, as while they may have parted, his heart still belongs to Lonnen.

♠ - Nancor isn’t really seeking out a kismesis at the moment, nor has he put much thought into what he’d look for in such a relationship. He’s not one to get angry or even annoyed by others a lot, and none of his hobbies provide many opportunities for competition. If anything, people are more likely to get annoyed by his attitude, either his overly-calm approach to death and misfortune, or how he utilises his psiionics to attempt to change people’s fates. Even then, he tends to approach hatred towards him with a smile, seemingly unbothered and perhaps even finding it amusing. Though, it’s unknown what’d make those feelings of hatred mutual, so it’d likely be more of a one-sided kismesitude.

Ashell - 12 sweeps / ~25 years, Male, Gay

♠ - Ashe doesn’t feel very comfortable with the idea of pursuing this quad due to past experiences with things related to it. The over-competitiveness of his old medical course and said environment leading to his death has made him feel very anxious at the thought of having a rival, especially if they’re a very competitive person. As a result, he doesn’t know how he wants to approach a kismesitude, and would rather avoid attracting that attention for the time being.

Velour - 11.5 sweeps / ~24 years, Male, Demi Ace

♥ - Velour is very hesitant about filling this quadrant because part of his appeal as a celebrity is that he appears ‘available’ to his fans. People pay to go out on dates with him, so being a taken troll would reduce his revenue. He’d also be concerned that if he did get a matesprit and people found out, they’d end up getting harassed by his fans. Not to mention he’s still dealing with lingering red feelings for Liiore despite their falling out sweeps ago. If he did manage to fall for someone, their relationship would have to be a secret as Velour would be incredibly nervous about it becoming public.

♦ - Taken by @/cloudbattrolls’ Jamie

♠ - Depending on who their blackrom interest is, this could be either the easiest or most difficult quadrant for Velour to manage. A fellow celebrity or online personality he could have a public friendly rivalry would be the easiest, as they could pass it off as a fun competitive collaboration and using fan’s interest in a potential relationship as a means to draw in more views (and money). Velour tends to be more playful than irritated in blackrom, but he’d definitely save any teasing for private, off-camera affairs. A blackrom relationship with anyone different, and especially someone who has some genuine hatred directed towards him would be more difficult, as he’d fear the potential damage to his reputation if he made any mistakes and his partner was feeling particularly spiteful.

Mikiel - 11.5 sweeps / ~24 years, Male, Bi

♥ - Taken by @/scrambledtrolls’ Cheese

♦ - Taken by @/cloudbattrolls’ Thrixe

♠ - While Mikiel is naturally a very angry person, getting his blackrom is harder than one might think. People tend to piss him off very easily, but always in ways that make him not want to deal with them again. Just being able to push his buttons isn’t enough, or you’ll make an enemy rather than a rival. At the same time, Mikiel has given up on most of his hobbies because he knows he has nothing of worth that’d make his work a ‘classic’, and because there’s no point in practicing if he could always end up dead at any time. Someone who can rekindle his interest in playing the violin or figure skating would make a good kismesis, or someone equally as pretentious as him but in a way that forces him to reevaluate his own views.

Lusien - 12.5 sweeps / ~26 years, Male, Bi

♥ - Taken by @/goddesstrolls’ Anirus

♦ - Lucy doesn’t have much of an idea for what he wants for a moirail, since he doesn’t really need one. He also doesn’t really know what he’d be best at in a pale relationship, as he’s never had to do anything of the sort before. He’s not very good at showing affection, nor is he good at giving advice, so a moirallegiance with him would be a very lax one.

♠ - Lucy doesn’t really know what he’d look for in a kismesis either, since again it’s not something he’s had much experience in. The only kinds of people who make him angry aren’t people he’d want to have a relationship with, and he doesn’t have any hobbies worth having a rival to compete with. It’d likely be a relationship that starts off poorly and naturally ends up with some black feelings happening, but this would be more of a spontaneous quadrant.

Viltau - 11.5 sweeps / ~24 years, Male, Gay

♥ - Taken by @/cloudbattrolls’ Jikiro

♦ - Viltau doesn’t really feel like he needs a moirail as, messed-up moral compass and a propensity for violence when bored aside, he’s a fairly well-adjusted individual. Though, someone who knows ways to help redirect his violent impulses into something more productive and less destructive would be appreciated. As would someone who can make sure he doesn’t pull multiple all-nighters from getting too absorbed in his work. He may insist on making sure his employees don’t work themselves to death, but he doesn’t give himself that same luxury.

Glasya - 13 Sweeps / ~27 Years, Non-Binary (They / She), Bi

♥ - Glasya loves to tease. They love trolls who they can fluster and annoy but also love them for all their terrible eccentricities. They tend to go for more serious or grumpy trolls because they love the idea of being the only troll who can make them laugh or get flustered. They’re very affectionate when it comes to redrom, but mostly in a way that intended to be embarrassing: Sending texts with cutesy pet names in inopportune moments, ramping up the PDA when they’re with their matesprit’s colleagues or other quadrants, and dragging them to every single cheesy couple activity they can think of. They do care deeply for their matesprit, they just show it in the worst kind of ways.

♠ - While Glasya tends to draw the ire of many trolls with their more off-putting personality, the majority of the time they don’t actually intend on making people hate them. They don’t really know what they’d look for in a real kismesitude, as more often than not the trolls they end up developing vitriolic relationships with trolls they genuinely like and would consider friends. Someone who is able to consistently beat them at their own game could potentially get them feeling black towards them, especially if the other troll’s intentions were more red-inclined. They don’t particularly like the idea of getting a taste of their own medicine.

Vallis - 11.5 sweeps / ~24 years, Male, Pan Aro

♥ - For a matesprit, Vallis would prefer someone as far away from his job as possible. As much as he loves the pursuit of science, he wants a space away from that where he can relax and pretend he has decent morals. He’d appreciate someone who is kind and quiet, but is also more on the outgoing side. Vallis doesn’t enjoy leaving town a lot because he gets terribly homesick, so having a close companion will help make him feel more at home no matter where he is. Also he likes the idea of going on dates and doing activities that couples tend to do, since usually he’s a very solitary troll without a lot of close relationships.

♦ - While Vallis does keep his work life and personal life separate, his work life is kind of the big elephant in the room. Whenever he’s not performing morally questionable experiments on mutants, he’s harvesting organs to sell on the black market or assisting slavers in finding new acquisitions (all for the greater good, he believes). Perhaps a moirail might help to drill some sense into his brain that maybe he’s going a little too far with the utilitarianism mindset sometimes and that just because the Empire says certain things are necessary evils doesn’t mean he has to follow them. Or maybe they could help with his more eccentric qualities, such as his scatterbrained tendencies or eldritch influence poisoning his mind. In return, he’s always happy to lend a hand and offer advice to those in need.

♠ - As easy as this quadrant sounds to fill on paper given the highly competitive realm of science-but-with-morally-questionable-ethics, Vallis isn’t interested in a relationship with someone who would blur his work life and personal life too closely together. He would like a research rival, but would prefer if they studied a field other than biology (although a fellow marine biologist would be acceptable). He’d want to learn a lot from his rival so he could further his own studies, so he’d definitely prefer someone academic who’ll challenge his own research at every turn.

⭑ Character solidifying | Accepting.

11. How do they see themselves: as smart, as intelligent, uneducated?

Ace likes to consider himself a cultured person. In a country where teenagers are taken since the age of 15 at the very least into the Akademeia to be educated into everything related to war, there isn’t much time to be too educated. Ace’s case would worsen keeping in mind that he was taken under Arecia’s wing since the age of 6 and he was trained ever since to become a soldier, but he’s one of the rare individuals who likes to go beyond and learn all kind of things not limited to war or Rubrum, but other aspects such as astronomy, politics and history of other nations as well, etc.

Unlike Trey, he doesn’t like to brag about his knowledge (ironically, Ace outsmarts him) and if he were to talk to anyone that isn’t minimally cultured or hasn’t an interest to learn, he grows easily exasperated which is why he almost never displays his knowledge and chooses to let Trey or Queen do the talking instead.

That said, Ace is humanly stunted. As the first soul found by Arecia and prior to that, considering his nature as a star, Ace is ignorant to the simplest and most human things in life despite his intelligence and knowledge. Putting an example, in the first cycles he didn’t see Arecia as a mother but instead as a Doctor and he tended to have confrontations with her from a respectful side unlike the last ones. When he talked to Izana about his Mother and Izana questioned if she really acts like a good one, Ace never saw like a big deal the fact that he was trained since he was 6, claiming that it’s just the way she decided to raise him and that’s okay, he sees love in small actions like her singing to him or her cooking while that’s–– not necessarily something a good mother would do.

19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

Being brainwashed by Arecia, he doesn’t really have any disillusion until later when he’s revives post Type-0 and in the situation that he possesses all the memories from the over 600 million cycles his soul lived. Ace’s deepest disillusion would be his incapability to understand what he’s been fighting for all this time since in truth, there was no meaning for any of this–– the war, the Crystals making people forget the dead, everything and on top of that, that same lifestyle imposed by Arecia is what made the rest of Class Zero not live the lives they wished to have before dying (this is under the assumption that Ace is the only one who keeps living).

It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that there’s still something he has to do even though he would no longer want to fight, the only thing that would drive him to move forward is the hope that whatever he’s fighting for this time can bring his siblings back so they can live too.

21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?

There’s a distinguishable dissonance between his manners and being cultured that sometimes shocks me. One would believe that someone who is even smarter than Trey would be formal and overall polite in his speech, but Ace’s approach is more casual and borderline cold/harsh that sometimes might be interpreted as rudeness.

As cheesy as this might sound, Arecia would be Ace’s type of hero. While there might be respect towards individuals who did great deeds, hero is a word that to his taste is being overused to the point that it was directed towards him (mistakenly so considering that in his mind, he’s just doing what he’s supposed to do and the attention befitting a hero (or any kind of attention, really) is unwanted by him.

While there might be people he dislikes (many at that, some of them that are part of Class Zero too), there isn’t anyone who he truly hates.
