more totk rewritten thoughts

since the mastersword still breaks at the start even in my rewrite, its gotta get restored somehow, so i think i wanna be a little 'classic' about it;

you can find the broken mastersword in a cave system near hyrule castle, its very obvious so you are more likely to come across it and pick it up, it doesnt use up an inventory slot but gets its own just like it did in botw

once you find it zelda inspects it and decides you need to talk to probably purah or impa to determine if its savable, since while it got damaged before its way worse this time; you get told you should ask the deku tree about it (so theres an actual incentive to go to the forest of the krogs/koroks) and discover that its been corrupted

in the corrupted forest you can walk around in freely here, without the mist teleporting you around since the spell of the krogs/koroks isnt working anymore, the center is mostly the same as in canon

zelda detects bigger concentrations of miasma all around the forest, at each point she directs you to is a miniboss, in total there are 3, but while the trees in the forest start to grow leaves again after you defeat each of them (there are mostly to all barren in botw too so i thought that would be a cool thing to siginify the ground has been cleansed more now) the center and the dekutree are still corrupted, however the deku trees insides are now accessible, once you go down there there is a boss (main big one thats unique and not just phantom ganon, tho that WAS a cool moment in canon, im using phantom ganons as the guys you gotta fight for the memory tree thingies so it would be too much reuse u think) once you are done with the first phase it flees into the underground via burrowing down, you follow through the hole and theres phase two in an underground boss arena themed around roots .. since its in the roots of the dekutree still

afterwards the forest goes back to normal (just with the other trees more alive again) and the deku tree tells you to put the sword back into its good ol pedestal, while its not gonna be fortified against miasma it can restore the blade form, and due to you cleansing the forest and making it more healthier it will not take ages to do so

then you are left to your own devices again, but once you reach the middle point of the game, after fighting ganondorf for the first time (which also triggers the miasma memory tree thingies i made a concept of a while back) you can go back to the forest and get the mastersword back, its blade restored physically but it being still vunerable to miasma and has only little attack power

zelda has the idea of going to the springs to ask for a blessing for the sword, however the deku tree suggests to ask the three dragons for it instead (so if you havent tried it yet you are hinted to go and try an land on them, since you couldnt do that in botw, also reference to skyward sword and how the mastersword got to be) after each blessing it gets higher damage and durability; once you obtain all three it still does not seem to be where it should be

now here i am a little unsure about if i want zelda to bless it also (similar to how skysw zelda needed to bless it) or if you should bring it to the giant hylia statue in the forgotten temple

(for zelda it would be neat bc its both a reference and something more character connected, but also you where already hunting down the deku tree and the dragons for it so making you go yet somewhere else again seems a little much; i like the giant statue as a way to guide you there but then again i dont think you an incentive for literally every place)

(on a side note about link shiekah arm, it has a battery that recharges and you can upgrade, but i also thought about making it so you CAN push it past its battery but then it takes from your health instead - like the destroyer in the botw DLC, but slower- which eliminates the need for an equivalent of the lil zonau charges)

falsettos and rent are my favs u shoulf tell me what yoy like ab9ur thisr two musicals soecifically

falsettos is my favorite for a few reasons

for one its been around since 1981, which for such an explicitly queer musical is really cool to me

it helped me also realize that i was probably queer in a funny way, i really fixated on martin and whizzer and i was like “thats so weird haha why could that be” (its because i was a queer little guy and seeing two men be so expressly intimate meant a lot to me)

it was also interesting to be able to relate to a lot of the characters and apply them to my everday life, i see my mom a lot in trina for example

i also think its a beautiful example of queer solidarity (ex: charlotte and cordelia helping marvin), and that the lesbians are super slept on theyre really cute and lovely, they deserve more attention

marvin and whizzer where do i even START man.. their relationship is really beautiful to me in a strange way. its not totally healthy and functional, but they’re trying their best and they choose each other over everything again and again and again.

im a die hard truther that all they needed was a good therapist and time to actually sit down and talk to eachother instead of just assuming that sex could fix everything..

and we can really see that towards the end when whizzer gets sick, you can see how well they genuinely work well together when push comes to shove and when they really need each other.

i’ll never get over how marvin stayed in that hospital room for god knows how long and how deeply jason and whizzer bonded before he died. i think its a really harrowing experience as the viewer to watch this family grow and develop and try to function only to be put back at square one after the loss of the family member they all, in their own way, were just beginning to accept and come to turns with.

im so normal about the baseball game and how no matter how hard marvin tried to be a hardass he just couldnt resist going back to whizzer because he knew that the truth was he loved him.

and again the dynamic between jason and whizzer just immediately brings me to absolute tears !! always !! the fact that jason didnt want to have his bar mitzvah without whizzer there, that whizzer helped convince jason to attend therapy, that jason invited whizzer to his baseball game despite him and marvin having been split for 2 years at that point hello??

also just how important it is for young queer people to be educated about the aids & hiv crisis and just how heavily it affected our lgbt elders, especially gay men. this musical started debuting when this crisis was on the rise and at its climax, and its still important today to remember why there are fewer elder queer people and why its so important to be educated on queer history and safe sex.

marvin and whizzer are excellent queer characters, but these events also happened in real life to thousands of people.

according to the CDC, nearly 330,000 gay and bisexual men with stage 3 HIV (AIDS) have died since the 1980s.

these are our fellow queer siblings, who are still fighting the battle our elders did. its so important to get tested, practice safe sex, and be open with your partner(s) about your sexual history. thousands of queer people are losing their loved ones to stds and illnesses like HIV and AIDS, don’t let you and your loved ones go without being tested and safe.

Ok fast forward . heru is homeschooled by a tutor and hiiro and pacchi are both in junior high. pacchi is popular and friendly and pretty, but her grades are lacking . hiiro has always been incredibly smart (even though pacchi is 2 years older, he skipped a school year or two and is in her same year), but his social life is miserable . because of his temper and Overall Unfriendliness he was put in separate classes away from his peers where he was the only student under a teacher who didnt care about hiiro or Pretty much anything . it wasnt seen often but when he Was seen he was beat up n bullied relentlessly n followed home , so a lot of the time he spent nights hidden in the school or in damp alleys because he didnt want to lead anyone dangerous back to pacchi and heru . when he Was home pacchi ignored him and heru would try to make conversation but hiiro was Pretty much entirely nonverbal during their school years . at home hiiro drew and wrote and played like anyone else his age but bcuz hiiro looked different and sounded different and acted different it ended up outcast and alienated :[ womp womp

aaaanyway yada yada hiiro graduates early n basically disappears into researching neurology n brains n Specifically how theyre "programmed" , they end up lowkey kidnapping a couple people to experiment on them w a janky "neuroprogramming" device that, once hes sure is Safe To Use , hiiro uses on itself :3 the way proples brains show up on the device isnt like an mri or anything , the way it shoes up actually Depends on the person so sometimes itll be a short rpg or lines of code or Minesweeper and because hiiro Made the device they can decipher what each brain thing means and collects data based off that . but because what he does is Very illegal the government eventually tracks him down and forces it to work w them or theyll Krill him .

after he Reappeared hiiro actually reconnected w his sisters and visits them as often as possible . Its not very affectionate at all though

i actually made his voice claim miyashita yuu . the songs where hes louder and yelling r more what i was thinking at the time , but i think miyayuu's soft speaking voice works as well

all the sleeves on their sweaters are slightly tethered and frayed because he fidgets with them while working . the right sleeve is more torn than the left

he doodles in his free time and has posted a couple oneshots on obscure manga forums . they dont keep up with them but one of them ended up getting really popular

First move

You and Mira met during a Hearts game, being placed as partners was enough to spark a conversation before the start but not to form an alliance, at least not yet.

You would always find each other during a game, sometimes you were with your friend (who Mira hated), but mostly alone. You found the meetings fun, and even though it saddened you to leave after it you kept hoping she would find you again the next time.

Mira, on the other hand, was intrigued by you since your first encounter. A world such as the one you were in was quite difficult to maintain contact, but not impossible.

She planned every move, she knew which game you would be, who you would be with. She calculated every step, she needed to see you but most of all she needed you to want her. Nothing was coincidental.

Second move

Mira saved your life.

A spades game was always an issue to you, but you always survived.

Maybe you made too much noise or triggered a trap. A mistake that could've cost your life, if Mira hadn't shown up and killed the adversary.

She didn't understand you.

You acted happy to see her but never asked her to stay, you constantly stayed close, helped, even took risks. Maybe you needed a push.

It wasn't hard to lure the player in your direction, it was also incredibly easy to swoop in and "save" you.

And how grateful you were, enough to finally ask her to stay.

Third move

Your friend was a nuisance, Mira could tell they didn't like her, in fact it was impressive how you didn't notice. You were never alone, they would find an excuse to pull you away or simply join the moment.

Mira knew they were important to you…but…pain is only temporary, and she would happily be there for you.

Your friend was suspicious of Mira wanting to join their game, but relented after your insistence that she was just trying to help.

How tragic their death was.

Fool's move

You were standing in front of your camp, rain falling down your body, completely soaking your clothes.

You had run into an acquaintance, who was kind enough to not only offer their condolences but explain how it happened. You were feeling angry, confused, sad, betrayed. You wanted to scream, fight, run, cry.

Instead, you stood in the rain.

After a while Mira noticed you outside, she could tell something had happened and how deep your frown became when you saw her.

You took a breath, flexing your hands to calm the nerves. "I had an interesting conversation today."

Mira eyed you carefully but smiled nonetheless. "Why don't you tell me inside, you could get a cold with this rain."

You shook your head, swallowing the tears threatening to fall. "Why did you do it?"

She tilted her head, slowly making her way to you. "Do what?"

You flexed your hands again, taking a step back. "You killed them."

She stopped walking and held her hands in front of her body. "You have to be more specific."

You let out a humorless laugh. "My friend! The one who has been with me ever since I was a child! The one that I encouraged to trust you! How could you do this!" Your breaths were coming quicker, the air barely reached your lungs, you could feel yourself crying.

Mira knew she messed up, she knew who might've seen and regretted not killing them too, but she couldn't tell you that. So, she faked sadness and tried to be gentle towards you. "They weren't good enough for you. Look at how much better things are, how many games we're winning together."

You clenched your hands, using every strength in your body to not break down. "Fuck you, Mira."

As you turned around to leave she held your hand to pull back. "Are you serious? I was helping you. You can't leave."

You could see the slight fear in her eyes. A few days, even hours ago you would've relented, but not this time. "I hope I don't ever see you again."

Checkmate

The aftermath of the face cards was chaos, there were bodies on the street, some people were celebrating others were crying.

That's how you found each other again, she was as poised as ever while you were covered in soot.

You slowly made your way towards her, offering a hesitant smile to which he returned.

You fiddled with your hands before speaking. "Hi."

Mira let out a breath. "Hi."

You looked around before staring back at her. "So…you accepted whatever offer that was huh."

She nodded, smiling. "So did you."

You bit your lip and chuckled. "We're probably crazy."

She laughed and bumped you. "I prefer the term ambitious."

You both laughed, still a bit awkward.

You flexed your hands and momentarily looked at the floor. "So…I have these friends…do you want to meet them?"

Mira's eyes sparkled with the request. "Yes, of course."

You nodded and held her hand to lead towards your new group. "Don't kill them this time."

She held your hand tighter. "No promises."

when I started shipping it if I did: VERY RECENTLY ACTUALLY id say within the last like two weeks. ive always loved doll and always loved n but then i realized like. oh huh i connect alot with n and want to make out with doll . boom. its like borderline selfship at this point its cringe as fuck but let me do whatever i want.

my thoughts: surprisingly i don't have as many thoughts on them as i did but i feel like. because of how much of a foil doll is to uzi i think thats the word it would be like. IDK i feel like for doll it'd help to understand the 'humanity' of the dds. if she witnesses a disassembly drone killing war machine trip over his own tail or bump his head into a doorframe and wince and laugh and talk and hug with gentle arms and do things that she specifically reprogrammed herself NOT to do so she'd have a better chance to kill her worst enemy and avenge her parents... she would short circuit. to actually get to the point of not killing him on sight would take a while or lots of coercing via ... lizzy? or hell maybe even uzi im not sure. unless they had an individual encounter (which, you know, could totally happen! doll out in the wastes and n is on a solo hunt, you know her ass was following them.) that lead to a stalemate, i'm not sure how they'd even meet. HM OK NOW IM THINKING ABOUT THIS. either way tho n has a habit of befriending insane drones (or like... smoochin depending on how you see enzi tho i see them as platonic) and i think he could. Not fix her but he could be there for her bless. and again i think she could help him be not a doormat 💛 also stupid hc i had aboit them i hv always thought doll to have like... a freakishly good memory. which, works perfectly paired with n because like .you know. his memory prahblems . dolls ass can remember the angle of your arm when you were like fucking sitting on a chair on the 13th of april last year or some shit like she PAYS ATTENTION even if she doesn't often share her input... which is also a good thing bcos n is super inclusive always. n voice DOLLLL LOOK WE ARE DOING A THING!!!! :D & shes just like. sighs okay (comes ova 2 him) and eventually.. i think itd get to the point where she can go do shit on her own without being explicitly invited YAY

What makes me happy about them: gotta bring up the Me & My Wife shit again bcos its borderline selfship at this point. i just think its interesting and awesome I REALLY HOPE THEY HAVE AN INTERACTION... tho i doubt it; i think they might fight or smt in ep 7 WHICH HONESTLY I WOULDNT BE SAD ABOUT my goil needs moe screenrtime

What makes me sad about them: doll probably hasnt experienced like. affection in fucking ages & frankly n really hasnt either. i think they'd hold hands and talk about their kill counts. also i just realized they both kind of went thru a period of time tht was little socialization only KILL. doll had school & lizzy, sure, but also living in an apartment with ur parents' & dozens of others' corpses its like. tht fucks w u. but the interesting thing about them is… n and doll don't experience guilt over Killing And Eating People the same way i think. like. just for example v and uzi do (atleast in my perception). like v couldnt cope with the knowledge she had so she fell extra EXTRA hard into her role (atleast using her maid self as an accurate portrayal of her old self) and uzi has never ever experiuenced anything like that before so its fucking terrifying to her. however, with doll and n… they dont percieve it the same way. we understand that both of them are capable of guilt but it takes a very strong connection for them to experience it. ep one; n feels bad for making uzi argue with khan & ruining the card game. does he say a single thing about killing and eating half a dozen workers? No! because it's natural to him. there's nothing out of the ordinary in that situation except for the fact that he was "rude" by interrupting someone & "rude" by causing an argument. yes, he's very sweet and patient and all of the above but he doesn't see killing as really a BAD THING… he sees it as a necessity; as him being useful, higher numbers means hes doing a good job. but, really, that's all he's known. he doesn't remember being a worker. after meeting uzi he's capable of realizing… oh, these are living creatures! i feel a little bad now. but the guilt doesn't come crashing down onto him and leave him utterly devastated at his kill count, it just sits there. it festers. similarly, in my opinion, to how doll reacts to guilt. we see her as this unstoppable force at every point until the end of promening. she knows her goals, she knows what she has to do to get to them, and has shaped herself into the perfect killing machine to do what she needs, removing all forms of guilt from her person to make sure it doesn't get in the way. though, again, it comes bubbling to the surface back from where she buried it so deeply under all her anger when uzi pops her emo little head in. she isnt instantly all "oh my god, what have i done?" but it eats away at her all of this fucking time, she has been killing and hurting her kind, believing she was the only one who could possibly shoulder this burden and deal justice to those who deserved it. but now that she knows she isn't alone… it festers.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: i've seen like three n/doll fics literally EVER but i'd honestly say. major mischaracterization of doll... i feel like doll gets mischaracterized more than n? n's behaviours are easy to understand and read with a surface level understanding because he has more screentime and again ON THE SURFACE looks relatively simple. i think a huge thing in some fanfics that bugs me is that. imitation of speech patterns = perfect characterization WHICH IS NOT TRUE... but also understandably makes it difficult to do with doll because she doesn't talk alot, while N talks a LOT so it leads to a heavy imbalance in mischaracterization. just because the characters would fucking say that, doesnt mean they would Fucking Do That

tossing veycer there for scale and also because hes important to their fucked up sibling dynamic. but i think sheala would make u go insane analyzing.

sheala has a LOT of depth and theres a lot of politics involved (one day i think i will have to make a heres volfoss' politics in a silly slideshow or something bc there is so much.) so i will do my best to explain why i think you would like her :)

first off. she is very good at hiding her tragedy and well um. theres not a better example of this than on the ikuaipe route (shes part of the ikuaipe army, which is like one of the 3 major countries in volfoss). to simplify it as much as i can, there is a war going on bc asdenia (one of the other big 3 countries) refuses to export rare metals to ikuaipe, who use them to make drugs. there is no reason explained for WHY they stopped this but thats all u really need to know about the war bc its complicated and they get into a lot of stuff w the drugs (specifically on like. how withdrawal is handled and how restricting supply from people isn't immediately going to fix their issues etc, its handled very well) in detail in game but. sheala's older brother is veycer who is the head of the army (he fucking sucks. i hope he dies soooo bad but he is also written with depth and like. kind of even tho he DOES some over the top evil stuff [like well. the incident im about to get into lol], he still is given enough character that he's fleshed out properly. all of the "villains" are but thats besides the point.) plays a very big part in well. why sheala would make you go make so many character studies on her.

anyways dear god. politics explained and hatred for veycer being put in there in advance. sheala goes on a mission (where shes a commander, so has a decent amount of responsibility there, and more specifically is leading the rear of the troops, veycer is leading the front) and gets ambushed pretty bad. to the point that when shalvas (who you would also love. but it would take me like 3x as long to get into his diseases. i promise youd love him tho, hes the silly protagonist) arrives, theres just one soldier left of her unit bc the rest of them were killed, and that soldier dies shortly after. sheala is facing one of the four heroes (who basically are some of the strongest characters in the world, and are sworn to remain neutral (they are not by the point of the war, so one of them is fighting on the side of asdenia. its a lot of politics im so sorry) and a BIG amount of very tough enemies on her own when shalvas arrives. shes dealing with a ton of guilt about the entire team she was leading dying (which honestly like. she couldnt do much about bc of how strong the guy thats part of the 4 heroes is) and is completely determined to stay, even if it costs her her life. she's someone thats very loyal and very stubborn and this is not so great for her. thankfully, shalvas is able to persuade her by basically saying hey. if you died it would cause more trouble for veycer than if you lived. thats the ONLY way she would go back despite being in pretty bad shape and being completely willing to let her life go there.

on the way back, shalvas clearly is having the very awkward moment of ok. she is clearly upset and i do not know how to make it better (he is like. very very blatantly written as autism to me, so he communicates in a way thats very awkward a lot of the time, or just is silent. which is honestly very cool of him), so after Sheala apologizes for everything to him, he tells her that she can always fight the hero again (because yk. she didnt die lol) and then IMMEDIATELY denies it when she asks if hes comforting him. their dynamic is really nice because its just like two weird as fuck guys trying to be friends.

which um. well you see. veycer sucks so bad. and he is incredibly mad at how badly sheala fucked up with letting her troop get killed (guy that loves to get so mad soooo much of the time for no good reason other than its fun for him). and hes having a little moment of its fun to do drastic punishment and despite another army officer (who youll def see a lot if you play, his name is auveon. hes friends w sheala) begging him to not do it, he orders sheala's execution. (and when i tell you i felt like i was going to puke reading this for the first time, i do mean it. this is the 2nd route ive done, so id already seen a lot of her and liked her a lot, and ofc the more ive interacted w her in this (and the last route) ive cared a lot more about her. so it was like oh ok. we are suffering). veycer basically is just like well um. she fucked up BAD and she cant get any leniency for that. yeah even if she IS my sister, people would see me as a weak commander if i gave her a lesser punishment so um lol. all of the soldiers are pleading with him to not do it and auveon asks if sheala wants to plead her case and um. well she says "I will follow Your Excellency’s orders. I am prepared to give up this life at any time if I am told to die." like. what is your DEAL.

she is fine eventually tho, just got demoted and veycer had the fucking nerve to be like omg i loveee my family thank you shalvas for protecting her. which is then like ok. did she know he wasnt really going to do it. or is he just lying to shalvas for fun. its insane to me they have such a fucking weird dynamic bc sheala worries about veycer a lot and then veycer is like um. ok i kill you with rocks and hammers. but i promise i love you.

ANYWAYS. some of the other things i really like about sheala. she has a quick temper and will NOT hesitate to call someone out on BS (this gets her in trouble a lot but shes very capable. when i fought her in the first route it was the worst fight of the game bc she is THAT strong) but she is also very kind as a person. she and turi-marrya (shes a water maiden but is also genuinely so fucking cool and i could go insane over her. easily.) in both routes ive played, despite being on opposing sides are very kind to each other and very polite (both of them having a lot of respect for the other, given some events in the game.) i think just like the way that she is facing a lot of tragedy (mainly due to VEYCER.) and yet is still brave enough to keep going but also does have a lot of moments where the grief does hit her and she is clearly struggling to deal with it. i think youd love her.

When Timpani and Blumiere sacrificed themselfs they went 3,000 years back to the past. They wrote down they’re entire adventure in a book which people started calling: Dark Prognosticus. But they didn’t knew if the worlds saved or not. They only wrote what they lived and because the rest are unknown to the authors people though no more pages means no more future.

According to the game whoever the magician is created the pixls by studying the Dark Progniticus. And since the magician got his hands on the book and isn’t afraid of the book. Which means the author and the magician are the same person. And since Timpani is a human, the magicain must be Blumiere/Count Bleck. Which means both Dimentio and The Pixl Queen are Blumiere/Count Bleck and Timpani’s children. That's why he hadn't killed them before the Super Dimentio fight. Because he didn't borned yet, if they die, HE DIES as well. And at the end of SPM I think Blumiere and Timpani teleported 3,000 years into the past. The reason both The Pixl Queen and Dimentio has the power of illusions is because they are siblings. The magician that created the pixls had a wife, a son and a daughter after all.

im gonna be super honest here and like. dont take this as me being mean but i entirely dont get any of this lol i FEEL like. and i cant rlly say much abt this cuz im not the count. but i feel like if i was in that position. i would perhaps maybe not write the book that led 2 the near destruction of all worlds. but again im not the count and past that i just dont get like i guess all of it? like its a neat concept but idk how we got here plus i didnt say i thought he couldnt BE reformed just that it was hard 2 imagine a reformed dimentio. which yes does mean a little that i find it a teensy bit hard 2 believe but also just that i couldnt rlly imagine what hed be like at all cuz obv i know that his entire personality isnt centered around his plans and his being "evil" but a lot of what weve seen is within that context. and its difficult for me 2 rlly imagine what would lead him to ever change cuz we dont even know whats rlly motivating him at all also idk how this relates 2 him being reformed its more of a reason that he didnt kill those 2 people specifically. personally i kinda like 2 think he didnt kill them because even though hed never admit it deep down he DOES care about the people hes met because he also doesnt kill mimi or o'chunks. and no i dont think they rlly just ended up in dimension d for no reason i dont think thats necessarily just a place u can go if u want i think dimentio put them there this got kinda super long lol i wont apologize for that tho. again if this sounds like mean or dismissive i prommy its not meant like that i just genuinely dont get it

AND THEN THE GRIEF OF LOSING HIS SISTER FOR NO. FUCKING. PURPOSE. HE SOLD OUT HIS REMANING MORALS, HIS PRIDE, ANY RESPECT OTHERS MAY HAVE HAD FOR HIM ALL TO SAVE HER AND IT FAILED. HE WENT THROUGH ALL OF THAT ALONE. YEAH I'D HAVE FUCKIN TURNED EVIL AS WELL!!!!!!!

im really liking story mode and splatoon 2 in general so far, and i just got to the 4th area, so here are some random thoughts i have on it in no particular order.

I rlly like that Marie is basically the only other character here. I may be biased cuz she's my second fav character (shiver is number one ofc) but i just rlly like her commentary. But not have Callie here to also say random stuff is kinda sad..... Like at first i was like yessss lets go only Marie(no offense, i love callie). But i miss her :(

I may be one of the few sheldon enjoyers as someone who actually likes reading all his dialogue, so i appreciate him also being here.

THIS IS HARD. I know i suck at video games... but some of these levels just feel so LONG. And making me fight enemy octolings with a charger is evil. Anyway yeah i need some easier levels spread out between these like splat 3 had. Cuz this is..... not good. I have to keep taking breaks cuz the long levels do be mentally taxing. Like hello this is funny squid game i cant be bad at smth intended for kids. I havent straight up failed a level yet but ive come close.

Forcing me to use the hero charger for certain levels is so evil and messed up. I only like dualies, rollers, and sometimes brella. They cant do this to me.. I cannot aim....

As with splat 3 i am enamored with the backgrounds in the story mode levels themselves. i love just wasting like 5 mins just staring at them. I want to make literally any of them my desktop background but idk how to get a good pic of them.... man especially the upside down city looking one in 3. its so pretty and just UGH ITS SO GOOOD/

none of the multiplayer maps have rlly stuck out to me in any way. Like they all just kinda feel the same lol. I think like maybe one or two i thought were cool? but idk the names. i def like the aesthetic of a lot of them.

i also wanna explore the stages but as far as i know there isnt recon. I was just gonna do a private battle but turns out u cant do those w one person. And i was so excited cuz there were splatfest stages availbe too...... so sad i just wanna check out the maps but idk how to/if i can do that.....

the amount of times ive fallen off the map in the main level select area of story mode is more than i can count. its not even funny at this point

I also just cannot find some of the scrolls/sardines in some levels despite playing them mulitiple times. Not to just expose myself as incompetent over and over today, but i am 100% gonna need to look up a guide cuz i do not have the patience for this.

Also the rhythm game is surprisingly one of my fav things so far??? Like i am having the most fun ever with this thing. I want it in splat 3 so bad w all the new songs. Its actually just so fun. Like idk maybe better than story mode somehow. Maybe i just have my priorities wrong tho lol

Anyway yeah tats all i have 2 say for now... I think. idk im having fun w the game so yeah

ok so first two very important facts:

1 - Arenvald is Berry's adoptive son and by proxy also Ilberd's adoptive son and he cares about both his adoptive dads a lot like obviously and thats important to how fucked up this was for everyone involved

2 - Berry and Ilberd werent dating before griffin griffin on the wall, everyone thought they were and they were obviously in love with each other but they werent dating so calling it divorce arc might not be accurate but its so break up/divorce vibes were calling it that anyway

ok so when all that first started they had a fight, mostly on Berry's part because Ilberd knew this would happen. he knew she would be upset enough to make a scene right there and then because it would hurt her a lot because of course it would she loves him. she said she hated him multiple times and he just took it cause he really had no right to argue back or ask her to not be mad because well he did all that well aware of how badly it would affect her emotionally and unlike in the game she was actually just removed from the premises fairly easily cause after all the yelling she was just too emotionally devastated to react to anything until she was sitting outside the city and had a crying breakdown because by the gods what was she to do now? what was she to tell her son about any of that? what could anyone tell their child in this situation? it was a shitty fucking situation for her and Ilberd too but at that point Ilberd knew all of that would hurt like a bitch he would just have to push down his feelings cause eventually it wouldnt matter anyway which was a choice on his part considering every fucking time they met after that ended in some of the most tense fucking moments of their life specially after Berry began to have her future sight dreams more and more often and it dawned on her what Ilberd was going to do and it she didnt want to tell anyone because it would get him in even more trouble but its not as if she could act as if she knew nothing about it. she would have crying fits and would ask to sleep in her father's bed because it was horrible and stressful for her. Ilberd just couldnt sleep at all for the most part during that it weighed on him at every waking moment making him unable to even rest. it was horrible emotionally for the both of them and each time they met each other after that it was horribly tense and yeah a lot of yelling happened and Berry did bring up Arenvald in an almost weaponized way to make Ilberd feel more guilty about all this shit because what he put her through? bad it sucked! but what her no THEIR son was feeling? it was worse and he should feel awful for it! (was she perhaps being too harsh? yes but u really cant blame her for being upset) and like Ilberd already felt pretty shit about hurting her and their son and that really just made it worse and he got upset and yelled back at her which is understandable, but in a way Berry knew there was nothing anyone else could do to fix the problem Ilberd wanted to fix cause no one gave enough of a fuck about it. and that hurt even more cause she knew there wasnt really nothing she could tell him to make him stop cause he also knew there was no other way. but she just wanted him to stop and come back home to her which btw she did ask him directly when she saw him in griffin outfit for the first time cause in the gayest most faggy moment they had so far she recognize him simply by the way he walked and carried himself. because thats just how gays act. but yeah a lot of nasty very parents going through a messy divorce fights going on there sometimes and well if u want al elaboration on how it traumatized Alphi and Alisaie... well theyre both very close to Berry. and we actually write them very often so they bond with Ilberd due to all three of them having lost family they deeply cared about during the calamity (partly cause we like to shove the people Berry cares about the most towards Ilberd cause Berry wants everyone she likes to get along obviously) so u can imagine what it was like for those two literal kids to see two people they cared about we were obviously having the worst fucking time of their lives get into awful fights that they both knew would lead no where just so they could pretend they had some semblance of control over their own messy feeling over this messy situation that shit stays with kids all the way to adulthood we know this as a child of divorce. they gave the twins child of divorce trauma when they arent even their parents. Arenvald got fucked up over it too! three traumatized teens in one fell swoop!

i'v been trying so bad to get a job, i lwanna leave this place, and if i cant , at least for her to stop treating me like shit and like her slave. She keeps shamming me for not having a job, i am trying, i truly am, i send resumes to everything i apply for everything and anything. I'm always at the verge of a fucking panic attack, i try to keep myself at bay, telling myself that ill get a job soon, once i get a job, it will be better.. I started these umemployed classes one has to attend, and while im at that i keep looking for a job. The other interview i got a reply, but the woman had to cancel the interview and told me she was gonna reschedule. I told my mom this yesterday, that id no longer be waking up at 8 am monday, because the woman emailed me canceling it and notifiying me shed reschedule. Today i woke up and i do the class assignment, an argumentative text about what we think and we feel about AI in our daily lives and how we think it affects/helps society. I woke up at 10, got ready and started writting my assignment, checked my emails and sent 3 more resumes for a few stores. The class was about to start and everybody noticed, today there's no class after all. So i delivered the assignment. i started one game of league, and was planning to go eat breakfast and then go out to deliver a tshirt i managed to sell. ( im selling pretty much all that i own to gather some money ) My mom arrives home, and enters my room. And it goes like : Mom - what are you doing? Me - playing a game. Mom - why are you playing a game? dont you have that thing? Me - which thing? Mom - you had an interview this morning, did u skip it? Me - no, i told you, she canceled. Mom - she canceled? when? Me - Yesterday, i told you... Her staring at me in doubt with that face she does when she doesnt believe me... And staying silent looking at me with " that face " The face she did when i started to get depression and she would make when i would tell her i didn feel too good to go to school and she would shame me and call me lazzy, and id be dead scared of going outside the house enought that id lose my breath. And shed still make that face " you are just pretending , you dont wanna go because you are lazy ". That face she made, when one day i suddently woke up and couldnt walk and begged her to call someone, a doctor, an ambulance, dad, anything... And she didnt and told me to shave my leggs or she wouldnt take me to the emergency and i quote " since you keep insisting " , because she thought i was being lazy and lying because i didnt wanna go to work. Because when she tought maybe shes telling the truth, her first concert wasnt " omg she cant walk " , it was " what are ppl gonna think when they see her hairy leggs, so embarrassing for me ". But even when i got harrassed, abused, verbaly and sexually i never skipped a day, even when my face was incredibly swollen from a broken tooth i still went to work in pain, even after the atttempted rape and a black eye i still went to work the next day like it was nothing, Even after the fucking new years shift where my coworker got mad at me because he gropped me in the elevator i fought him off, and he punched me in the stomach and arm, i still went to fucking work the next day. Even after sick of it all and trying to kill myself, i went to work the next day like it was fucking nothing. All of this because when the first job i was actual making 800 euros, after so many attempts of trying to pry and control my money, i tried with all my soul to fight her oof and to try and save money to leave the house. And she threated to chase me down and beat me up if i tried to leave. Because i didnt wanna give her all my paycheck because i wanted to try and live. Because when she found out i was getting that amount, she not only took the 250 monthly rent, and the other 150 for her dets , she took 200 more because " im your mother, you owe me ".

and they were roommates

only for the first year of college tho, after that they just visited each other more and more until it felt like they were practically living with one other

minho was the first to confess

he just woke up one day and saw he fell asleep beside chan (with his cute bed hair might i add) after helping him with a project and was just like “yeah i’m in love with him.”

minho doesn’t really like to beat around the bush bUT EVERYTIME HE TRIED TO CONFESS SOMETHING WENT WRONG!!

the first time he tried to while they were watching a movie and the power went out so he fumbled around looking for candles with chan instead of declaring his love

the next time they were out on a walk where, chan, being the klutz he was, fell over and sprained his wrist

the THIRD time he was just gonna visit chan in the college studios, but when he went in chan laid his head in his lap and immediately fell asleep

and chan never sleeps so minho wouldnt wake him up just to say i love you

but when he feels like it minho will reach other and peck chan’s cheeks or thread his fingers through his and swing their arms

chan often started to skip whenever they went on walks and ended up dragging minho along with him

sometimes, after a long night, minho will turn on some low music and pull chan in for a slow dance in the living room

he’ll just moonwalk into the kitchen and bow down, “may i have this dance my good sir?”

and chan is a blushing mess the entire time

just happy fluff

on the rare occasions they do have disagreements it’s usually over in a few days (or less)

chan hates fighting so he’s usually the first one going back to talk and work things out

we love communication 😩

all in all it would seem like they were just always together, no one around them could imagine them at a time when they weren’t :(
