Maybe it was the sense of trust he felt it showed. You felt safe around him— safe enough to want to fall asleep on him every night.

You loved his voice enough that it could easily take your brain off the struggles of the day. It was Seokmin’s greatest gift, and you would never, ever get tired of it.

His voice seemed to travel into your dreams as well, providing the comfort and warmth and love that you cherished so much from him. Seokmin loved you wholeheartedly— with his whole being. In his actions and words; even silently with soft looks.

im hitting you up on this blog because i just reread strayville (im procrastinating) and I NEED to talk about it AGAIN pls lkdshglks can i ask, do you have any headcanons on what happens after the end of the story???? or their backstories??

YOu read strayville again?! the whole 45k? kdfhnjfgh damn I’m happy that you liked it as much as to read it again!!

As for headcanons... I don’t really think of elaborate backstories and most of what I had thought of is in the fic, but I do have a few headcanons of what happens after! (bc someone hinted at a sequel and i tried to come up with stuff but i failed...)

Anyway, for backstory: After Chan graduated, JYP labs established in Strayville and it was the Talk of the Town, and because Chan had just graduated and they were looking for new employees, it was perfect! (They had found their subject to keep the town in their power fhkfg)

Minho didn’t go to college because he helped the cat cafe! So they already went to visit every year during summer and when Changbin graduated, the 00′z and Jeongin, who saw him more often than minchan, teased him about his crush on Minho and that he finally didn’t have any excuses to avoid it anymore, but Bin had found an affordable apartment somewhere near the job that he got so he was a bit reluctant. Minho wasn’t, though, because (as mentioned in the fic) he began flirting and Changbin thought it was a joke but it wasn’t and it was a bit messy because Bin was scared that he would be busy with his new job and that he might not be able to visit often, but Minho said that he could visit Changbin if necessary and just keep him company as he worked so eventually it all worked out :)

Then my headcanons for after the end: as mentioned, Jeongin got a job as a kindergarten teacher in Strayville, Felix helping in the cat cafe to bake and stuff and 3racha and seungmin trying their luck in the music industry while Hyunjin is taking a break to find out what he wants to do!

I had this idea where some time after the ending of my fic, another new company would establish, dry cleaning company called PJY cleaning and them finding out that it’s run by someone named Park Jinyoung and then Chan being like ‘oh my gosh, my boss was called Park Jinyoung!’ and then seungjin would go all spy boyfriends again and they would find out that it was a different Park Jinyoung and that it was just innocent djgnfkjhkjh

minho didn’t think he wanted kids, but after taking care of three cats and his boyfriend being a child at sometimes...how different could it be?

apparently very different

he was the first to bring up children to chan one night, his sister had dropped off her five year old niece for them to take care of for a couple hours

and seeing chan with kids made his heart go jdkfkfkfk

so afterward when they were both slumped on the couch tired out, as casually as possible he went

“maybe we should look into getting a kid?”

thankfully chan wasn’t holding a hot beverage, otherwise he would’ve spilled it over himself

he barely managed to sputter out a response but just ended up nodding

“yeah, i’d like a kid.”

and that was that

they both looked into adoption soon after, waiting for their applications to get approved before anything happened

it took a couple of months but they ended up getting matched with a little boy, who they named jeongin

the day of his birth was as hectic as you could imagine

minho running around making sure they had everything and chan figuring out how to attach the new car seat to their newly bought minivan

but the moment they spotted jeongin in his little crib was worth it

the nurses taught them how to do a swaddle, it took chan a couple more tries since he was clumsy with his fingers

but he eventually got it !!

minho was the one who carried the carrier to the car, a small smile on his face as he buckled their new family member in

the first few nights werent as rough as they’d thought

neither of them had a proper sleep schedule either (due to chan’s insomnia) so they didn’t have trouble getting up at night to tend to their son

they were used to running on low sleep so they didn’t miss it too much

they ended up moving to a bigger house so jeongin could grow up running around a bit more and have his own room eventually

all their friends pestered them for pictures everyday, which they happily supplied

jeongin knew if he wanted chocolate for a midnight snack chan was the one to ask

for the first couple of months they sent their cats to minho’s sisters house until jeongin was a bit older

and after meeting the three cats jeongin fell in love and begged for more pets

felt like he had two kids sometimes!!

chan loved going to the park with jeongin though, he felt no shame in running around like he was five with his son

halloween was so fun

and since jeongin was just 3 he went along with anything

he must’ve taken off his dad chan because jeongin was almost as clumsy as chan, if not more
