Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has educated more than seventy percent of the last three centuries’ historical figures. Foster siblings Harry Potter and Fay Dunbar-Black are beginning their first year there this fall, and they have plans. They’re not the only ones, though, and it seems like all plans have one kink in common - Harry’s twin brother, Connor; known for not dying when he should’ve.

People who don’t like book Sally because she’s too perfect are missing the points, 1) Percy Jackson is king of unreliable narrators, and 2) a 12 year old boy who only receives love from his mother, is going to think his mother is perfect.

AU where Josh manages to grab onto Nigel’s hand at the last moment that night on the train and both of them fall out. AU where Nigel has been dead the entire time but Alex Forbes doesn’t know that; where the trauma of watching his friend fall to his death combined with the realisation he was complicit in the death of another causes his mind to fracture.

He doesn’t remember making it back to his dorm room that night, only remembers waking up to the news that Josh and Nigel were was dead. All of Nigel’s things have been moved to another room, of course they have, because Nigel was gone, dead, all his fault, his fault trouble.

AU where Alex takes the train one night to the Colbie house because Nigel asks him to, because he feels this innate and intense need to try and better understand this boy he got killed; where he finds the card and the books and Nigel’s red bible, and begins to understand.

AU where the body of Susan turns up one morning, and the police question Alex about it, but there’s no way it was him, because he was late; he was late, and by the time he showed up at the cinema, she was waiting for him still, sweet Susan, with her kind eyes and kinder heart, she had waited for him and she didn’t even suspect anything until the very second before he struck gone.

AU where Alex finds the letter he wrote Nigel wrote, inviting him to his house that night, where Alex sees the Colbies arguing through the window; where he wrestles the gun from John and shoots him to kill him because he read the journals, knows that this man has been hurting Nigel his whole life and he wanted him dead protect Nigel.

AU where Nigel confronts Alex at the train yard that night, where he forces Alex to remember everything he did, everything Alex did; where he forces Alex to pull the trigger and kill off the version of Nigel he’s been carrying around in his mind, where Alex dies that night right along with him and Jack is born instead.

heres a cool thing about the urinetown score:

in tell her i love her, little sally tells us that the last thing bobby said was "if only...if only", and the way that it's written makes it out to be an unfinished statement, but it's not.

it's interesting, because yeah, looking at the lyrics on their own, it sounds like an incomplete phrase, but if you add in the music, as well as listen very closely to just bobby's melody, there's actually a cadence there that solidifies the entire piece.

bobby isn't not able to finish his sentence- it's sarcastic. his dying words are pessimistic. he's saying "i see this absolutely wonderful world, oh if only" he's saying it's one big fucking joke.

#and just to throw around ideas- little sally's part in this makes it WAY more interesting. shes co-narrator with lockstock #and the job of a narrator is to move the story along #bobby in this scene isn't diegetic #the other characters cant hear him- the only way they can “hear” him is through little sally #so they never hear bobby finish his thought. the only thing they hear is little sally repeating his thought #but because shes a narrator and has to move the story along #her thought is unfinished which not only propels the story forward but also sets up the poor for we're not sorry #urinetown #bobby strong #turnip does music theory

YALL- so the Halloween update on the welcome home website, right?

In the update in the merchandise section theres an audio and in it Sally tells a spooky story talking about how there's a monster roaming outside the streets at night in home and that’s why theres so few neighbors that live there.

I thought of something though

What if there were more neighbors at one point, but the remaining neighbors forgot they existed? All the welcome home ocs ever created lived there once upon a time, but maybe they went off script too much and a certain house didn’t like that. Home would have Wally invite them out at night for something and when they agreed to it and went to go meet him, home would take that opportunity to get rid of the neighbor and erase the others memories of the neighbor ever existing.

Sally had accidentally saw this and home took care of it, hearing her gasp after the neighbor was dealt with. She didn’t remember it for a while, but the memory started to resurface when she was trying to think of something spooky to tell the others. She doesn’t remember who it was or any of the details, just remembers that whoever it was….was never seen again.

The fact that at that part in the audio when she tells it all ends up corrupted is a little sus to me to too but ya know

Genres: action, hurt/comfort, fluff and angst Summary: 14-year-old Becky was used to fighting crime as WordGirl; she fought villains almost every day. But, despite being dangerous, most of them didn’t actually try to hurt or kill anyone. Even as criminals, they still valued human life. The man now aiming a loaded handgun at her brother, however, clearly didn’t.

My first WordGirl story! This was a lot of fun to write, and I especially enjoyed writing the bond between Becky and her found family. You can read all of the tags if you go to the link; there are several and I didn’t wanna clutter this post with them all, haha.
