Domestic Cravings
Domestic Cravings
Leon comes home early from a mission and stays determined not to wake you by going to his apartment instead of yours. When greeted with a more than pleasant surprise he’s unable to stop himself from asking the big question.
Main Character Relations: Leon Kennedy x reader (romantic)
Word Count: 2k (a little over)
Fluff, fluff, fluff !!!
A/N: Sometimes I don’t write angst. Sometimes. Anyway, I guess you could consider this a Valentine's Day present. Personally, I hate the holiday, but I do love to treat others. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Leon sighed, the weight of his most recent mission weighing heavily on his shoulders. All things considered things went smoothly and everything wrapped up into a nice little bow earlier than expected. He was scheduled to be there for the next two days, but he ran into one of those rare circumstances where he made it back early.
As he looked at the door handle to his front door he seriously debated his most recent plan to retreat to the solitude of his own apartment. This isn’t where he wanted to be. He wanted to experience the warmth of your doorway. He wanted to crawl into your bed and find comfort in your embrace. But it was so late and the sun basically just set and you had to have been asleep. Not to mention he’d probably be throwing a wrench in your plans for the next day and the last thing he wanted was to be seen as a burden.
So, selflessly Leon opened the front door. The apartment was cold as he disregarded his heavy duffel bag to the side. He shut and locked the door behind him as he kicked off his boots, too tired to be bothered to put them away just then. He ran his hand down his face as he sauntered into the kitchen. Exhaustion felt like an understatement, as his limbs felt heavy as he headed towards the fridge. The bright light caused him to squint as he was greeted to the sight of a fully stocked fridge. He smiled knowing that you had already started taking care of the little things for him. He grabbed the carton of orange juice before shutting the door.
It really only made things harder as he set the carton on the kitchen island as he grabbed a glass. He had a key and he was always more than welcome, he lived there just as much as he lived here, if not more so. You have been dating for a year and had gotten the big three words out and expressed your love whenever and wherever it came about. Rather it be just an exchange of the sentiment via words or actions, he knew you loved him. He knew that you truly, deeply, genuinely loved him. You saw the good and the bad and still adored him. He couldn’t make any sense of it, but humans are creatures who are always harsher on themselves than on others.
Your apartment always felt so homey and inviting, granted that could have just been because it was considerably smaller, but he digresses. He spent more time there than he did in the luxury suite that was located on the finer side of town. Big tall windows that allowed natural light in easily, a view of the city that ‘justified’ the rent prices. In all honesty he only chose to live here due to the fact that it was so close to the office. Even though he wondered why he even bothered being close to the office when he woke up in your bed most days anyway.
Pouring his drink he started to really consider why you still remained in two separate housing units. Truth be told he never asked you to move in. He supposed you could’ve asked, but it wasn’t in your nature. You weren’t one to ask someone to pack up their life and throw everything away to be with you. He would in a heartbeat, there wouldn’t be a second thought about it; but it all goes back to people being harsher on themselves than other people. That and the fact that his work played a big factor in everything that Leon does. He was constantly stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Finishing his drink with huge gulps he was unsure if you were even willing to give your place up. It was your first apartment and the rent wasn’t too bad- all things considered- your landlord was tolerable and neighbors were friendly enough. The walls were paper thin and the unit needed a multitude of repairs. Long story short, the place was old, Leon has had a number of things redone there; in fact the first thing he did was replace the locks. He was trying to talk you into a whole security system, but you shut him down. Having to deal with your landlord over the locks was a hassle on its own, you didn’t want to bother trying to reason with him over a high tech military grade security system.
Your safety and wellbeing was on the top of Leon’s list and he used it in his arguments. But you just rolled your eyes and pointed out that he doesn’t even use his own security system. The thing did nothing but collect dust by the front door. It was your main argument and it stood firm, you told him that once he started using his own you would think about going toe to toe with your landlord over it, but until then his argument was null and void.
He countered though with the fact that his apartment didn’t hold anything valuable. Sure, it had monetary value out the ass; but anything he had that was worth anything could be perceived as trash to the naked eye. A box full of movie tickets, cards, postcards, and blurry photos was not worth a dime. The memories that the items held were priceless, but they wouldn’t do a thing for anyone else.
As he went to turn on the sink he noticed the dishwasher light was on, signaling that the dishwasher had finished its job. A crooked little smirk pulled on his face, not only did you go grocery shopping but you took care of the dishes. How lucky could he possibly be? A sense of a domestic life that he craved washing over him. It was time, he wanted you here, or he could stay there, it really didn’t matter. Either place would be home as long you were there.
Turning off the sink he heard the floor creek. He set the glass in the sink slowly as he reached for Matilda that rested in his waistband. He was careful, he was sure he wasn’t followed, whoever was here had been here. His brain immediately went to you; second guessing having you move in. He moved quickly facing the hall, his arms outstretched and his finger on the trigger, “You’ve got three seconds.” He threatened and as he heard your deep sigh of relief he softened, setting the gun on the counter. You stepped into his line of vision as he flicked on the kitchen light, “(Y/N)?” He called out your name as he watched you shake slightly. The gap between the two of you was closed quickly as he pulled you to his chest with relief.
“You scared the shit out of me.” You said setting the gun you had down on the nearby couch end table. Wrapping your arms around him you scolded him, “You got off early and you didn’t call me?”
“I scared you? You scared me.” He defended light heartly, “I didn’t want to wake you. It’s nearly three in the morning, baby.” He pulled away from you as he tucked your hair behind your ear. His lips found yours in a gentle kiss that he deepened as you hummed against him.
“Did a great job at letting me sleep then, dear.” You teased him as you pulled away from him. You brushed his hair out of his eyes, examining the bags and purple hue underneath them.
“How was I supposed to know you were here?” He defended as your thumb ghosted over his cheekbone and you turned bright red. A sense of victory on his face as a wide smile found his features.
“I just started the dishes and I didn’t want to fight traffic home-…” you peered into an ocean of blue before sighing, “I missed you. I sleep here when I miss you. I sleep here a lot.” You confessed before looking away from him, it was slightly embarrassing for you to admit. You had difficulty expressing that you craved a person. It didn’t make any sense with how open you were about him, but you just chalked it up to your miss independent complex. He just hummed in satisfaction as he buried his face into the crook of your neck. His body relaxed as he kissed your neck with a sense of glee. He went from missing you, to worrying about you, to the joy of knowing that you were within arms reach in a matter of seconds.
“I missed you more.” He cooed as he kissed your neck, “Glad you’re here.”
“I love you.” The words fell from your lips so gently and lovingly that his grip on you tightened and you giggled slightly. He made you feel like a teenage girl that was too head over heels for her own good.  “Let’s get you to bed. Shower?”
“Please.” Your hands found his hands and gently pulled him down the hall and into his room. He noted his side of the bed was the one that you were just resting on; a sense of warmth washing over him. He squeezed your hand gently as you led him into the bathroom. As you let go of him you turned on the shower. He couldn’t help the smile on his face as he looked around and noticed your shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush, lotions, and other toiletries littered in his bathroom.
You approached him and helped him pull off his shirt, you looked him over. A deep sigh falling from your lips as your heart ached at the sight of bruises and cuts. It hurt to see and you could only imagine the pain he felt.
“It’s okay, I’m fine. Promise.”
“This the best they could do to patch you up?”
“Down, tiger.” He teased as he soaked up your possessive tone.
You rolled your eyes and turned back to the shower, pulling off your shirt before putting your palm under the running water. You pulled your pajama shorts off and as you turned to face him a sense of nervousness shot up your spine. You usually would tease him about a staring problem, but you were unsure of where his emotions were. Physically he looked exhausted- his movements told you he was exhausted- but mentally you had no idea where he stood.
Not to mention that you had no clue how he felt about you staying here when he wasn’t here. Sure, he said he was glad you were here, but he never asked you to be here.
“The water is going to get cold if you just keep staring. C’mon.” You nodded to the shower as you undid his pants. His hands found yours, stopping you, as he took care of the rest and disregarded them in the hamper. You tried to place what he was thinking as you climbed into the shower, him not far behind you.
As the warm water hit his back he let out a sigh of relief. The sound music to your ears as you started messing with his shampoo. You went to work the shampoo in his hair and through half lidded eyes he watched you. A little smile on your face while your tired eyes focused on what you were doing.
He could get used to this, he was getting used to it.
He loved you. He loved seeing your things in his space, he loved that you were taking care of him, he loved that you were here.
You tilted his head gently and started rinsing the shampoo out. A protest never fell from his lips as you scratched his scalp and he moaned softly. You reached for his conditioner and did the same thing, just letting the conditioner sit while scrubbing him down with his signature fresh pine scented shower gel.
You worshiped him as you bathed him, kissing the cuts and bruises softly as you rinsed him off. He deserved to be taken care of like this and you didn’t mind being the one to do it. It was slightly embarrassing, but he trusted you with his life and you knew his body just as he knew yours. “Relax.” You cooed as you went to get out of the shower, “Stay in here as long as you’d like. I’m going to get you-.” You stopped as he grabbed your wrist and his other hand found your hip. You gave him a concerned look as you scanned his face, you stepped closer to him as he pulled you to his chest. Your fingers tangled themselves into his hair as you tried to soothe him. “Want to talk about it?”
“No, not really.” He rested his head against your shoulder, “Just want you.” He’s wanted you since he got back, he’s wanted you since he left. You nodded as you held him against you.
You both stood there until the water started to run cold. It took some convincing but eventually you got him out and in pajamas. You were in bed wearing one of his t-shirts that he practically had to fight you over wearing. Your eyes shut as you listened to his movements in the bathroom, refusing sleep. Waiting for him.
As Leon turned off the faucet he took a good look in the mirror. A face that had a smile plastered on it as he thought about the woman in his bed. The woman who just doted on him like he was made of glass. The woman who held him so close and made him feel so loved that it all felt worth it. The woman that he wanted to take his last name.
He left the bathroom and stood in the doorway as the bathroom light illuminated you just enough to where he could watch your chest rise and fall. As your eyes opened he was held captive as you smiled.
“What?” You asked through a yawn as you pulled the covers up to your shoulders while you stretched.
“I love you.” He beamed as he turned off the bathroom light and climbed into his side of the bed. Your scent flying off of the fabric of his sheets as the radiant warmth of your presence drew him in. Wrapping his arm around your torso he pulled you to him.
“I love you more.” Your voice heavy with sleep as you cuddled against his chest. He adored these moments where you didn’t fight with your words and just said what you were feeling.
He chuckled, “Not a chance in hell, sweetheart.” He kissed your forehead as you yawned. “Go to sleep.” He cooed as he rubbed a hand firmly up and down your back.
“Leon…?” You muttered against his chest.
“Yes, baby?”
“I’m sorry if you didn’t want me here while you’re not here. I won’t do it again.” He raised an eyebrow at the apologetic sorrow in your tone. He knew your past, he knew your uncertainty, but he could’ve sworn that he told you he was glad you were here. “I just missed you and if I crossed a line-.”
“Hey, hey.” He shushed you, “I’m glad you're here, remember? I want you here. Forever and always. Okay?” You nodded and tried not to sniffle.
“Okay.” You fisted the hem of his shirt as you tried to keep yourself calm against him. He kissed your forehead before petting your hair. Your eyes were shut and your breathing was starting to slow to the pace that it does when you sleep.
He knew he should wait, but he was too excited.
“Baby?” He looked down at you as you hummed in response telling him to go ahead with his question. That you were still listening and ready to talk about whatever he needed. His thumb brushed against your cheek as he admired you, “Will you marry me?”
Your tired eyes opened, “What?” You were in a state of disbelief.
He asked again, “Marry me?” Silence fell over the room as the cold chill of uncertainty worked its way through his blood stream. What was he thinking? Was he thinking? You didn’t even live with him and you’d been together for only a year. Wasn’t the next step just to ask you to move in? That was the logical question. Was it too late to rephrase the question? Could he save this somehow?
“Yes.” You answered honestly, “Yes, I’ll marry you.” He let out a deep breath of relief before his lips found yours. His kiss was deep and passionate as he adjusted himself to be level with you. You welcomed him as you melted against him. Exchanging passion and overwhelming love within each kiss. Each parting one leaves a lasting imprint against your souls.
He regretfully parted from you to get a good look at you. To judge based on what he knew if this was truly something you wanted. Your bright smile causes him to let out a chuckle of relief before leaning his forehead against yours. You laughed alongside him as your hand intertwined with his, “I love you, Mrs. Kennedy.” He said he ran his hand through your hair. It fell so naturally from his lips that you could’ve sworn that it had always been your last name.
“I haven’t signed any papers yet.” You joked before peppering a couple kisses on his cheek, “Don’t even have a ring yet.”
He rolled his eyes before his lips captured yours, “It’s in the closet.” He mumbled as he held your face against his.
“Mhm.” You moaned against his lips, even though you didn’t believe him. He was telling you the truth, hidden in his safe was a little black velvet box that held the engagement ring he picked out six months ago.

Leon kennedy one shot
authors note; this is rough, finished in like 10 minutes. i havent read over so please forgive any grammar mistakes.
I am not american, my mother tongue is NOT english!!
she/her used. will continue to be used unless requested otherwise.
theme; Leon S. Kennedy has spent the last weeks in bars, or in his couch - heart broken over the fact that his alcohol issue has cost him his relationship. On cloud nine, he calls y/n: drunk.
warning; alcohol
Tumblr media
Leon S. Kennedy didn't feel the pride he once had all those years ago, when he had first arrived in raccoon city as a brand new police officer - hoping to make a change.. Be part of something bigger and serve a purpose. No, he didn't feel the pride in his badge any longer there he sat in a bar for the 4th time this week. The other 2 days he had spent drinking alone in his apartment, the last and final he had spent in bed sleeping the alcohol off. Normally he wouldn't spend every day of the week drinking his last breath away, especially since this exact issue had cost him his relationship – drowning the pain with the cause of the split. stupid, but alcohol was his only thing to turn to these days. Drunk, feeling like he was on a cloud with his arms giving in, he was walking home from the bar - having been thrown out for a physical fight involving another customer. "Throwing me out, tsk.." He muttered to himself as he walked unsteady in the street - reaching his hand into his jacket pocket, successfully pulling out his phone and dialing a familiar number; y/n's. "mm, mm.." He said with the ringer, waiting for his ex-girlfriend to answer the phone. But – she never did. As the phone service began telling him to leave a message, he responded sighed - pinching his temple before he began speaking into the microphone: , "Hey, uh.. It's Leon." He said, despite the caller ID exposing this fact already. "It's been a while since we last spoke and i know you don't want to see me, but i can't stop thinking about you." He began
, uncertain of where this would continue. "You broke up with me because of my drinking and here i am calling you - drunk. Kind of funny, huh?" He chuckled short, almost awkwardly into the phone: did he seriously think that was worth mentioning? "I was hoping youd pick up your phone so i could hear your voice again - i guess you're sleeping." He sighed to himself yet again, looking over his shoulder with his phone still pressed up against his ear. It was ironic, even in this state he knew as such; begging for another chance whilst the problem itself was an active event? Right, she would totally listen to you, Leon. "Can we meet? Tomorrow? Talk about what happened, I' guess." There was an ounce of harshness in the ending of his sentence - not intentional, but it masked his embarrassment. When his (now ex) girlfriend had learned of his issue– or habit, like Leon would much rather label it – he was so embarrassed. Denying and yelling in the end, because he refused to admit he didn't have it under control: refusing to admit the bottle of alcohol in the cabinet was what he reached for those nights he couldn't fall asleep and y/n already had. "I miss you." He began, stopping in the street now and bringing his hand to his face - rubbing his temple as he continued with a low sigh; "a lot." Being without her, knowing she was (not mad but) upset with him made it even worse. she loved him, she just couldn't handle it. it was understandable, but unbearable. "So, please.. Just uh.. Call me back? Or text. Or both, they're both good. Just - something. Sorry I didn't mean to leave a whole audio book on your thing, bu-" he was cut off, the voice message not allowing him to speak any further than that. Leon looked confused at his phone, barely beinging it away from his ear. He had his eyebrows furrowed, and his mouth opened ever so slightly as he looked at the screen and then brought the phone back to his ear - opening his mouth again: "Son of a bitch." then closed it with a harsher sigh than before. He caught himself acting like a teenager, rolling his eyes a tiny bit as he shoved his phone into his pocket and began walking again.

Chapter One
Karl Heisenberg x Reader
Tumblr media
*
It was cold, as to be expected in a snowy village, yet Y/N couldn’t help but sigh, watching her breath fly in front of her. The village itself was quiet, no sign of life anywhere. Perhaps it was the cold winter air, or maybe something more sinister. Y/N didn’t care, no, this was the last lead on her sister that she had, and she certainly wasn’t going to waste time contemplating why there were no people around; it didn’t matter, not to her, and with her eyes darting everywhere, she pushed forward.
The village itself seemed quite rundown, at least more so than the other places she had been. It was only small and seemed incredibly cramped. Too lost in her observations, Y/N almost missed the voice speaking to her.
“And who might you be?” The man asked with a kind smile as he sat inside he carriage.
Spinning on her heels, Y/N pointed her gun towards the stranger who simply raised his hands in surrender.
“No need for the hostility. I’m the Duke, merchant here in this village.” He introduced himself, yet Y/N didn’t let her guard down.
“I’m Y/N,” was her simple response, gun still pointed towards him, yet he simply laughed, a joyous sound.
“Ah, at long last,” he said. “The woman searching for her sister, I’ve been wondering when you’d show up here.”
Y/N’s eyes widened as she held the gun closer towards the Duke. “Where is she!?”
“Calm down, Y/N, there is no need for unnecessary violence, I am here to help. Anything you need, items or information, I will be here to help.”
Y/N lowered her gun at the genuine tone he had, although she didn’t put it away just yet. “Where is she?”
“Why, she will be with one of the Lords, of course. Now, I don’t know too much about what happened to her, nobody does, but I can assure you she will be with one of them.”
“The Lords? Who are they?”
As the Duke began his explanation about the Lords, Y/N took the time to look around the village, mainly the castle which wasn’t too far from where she was currently; maybe she should start there, she thought.
“Thank you, Duke, you’ve been very helpful.” She smiled, not quite a full small, but the Duke was happy nonetheless.
“I will you the best of luck in your search for Abigail, Y/N.”
She simply nodded.
*
Surrounded by hairy and bloodthirsty creatures that Y/N didn’t know the name of, she shot each of them down expertly, not missing a single bullet. It wasn’t long until the monsters were dead, Y/N letting out a sigh of relief, but that wasn’t the only being around her.
“Well, well, that’s quite a show you just put on.”
The woman spun around, gun pointed towards the smoking man who was, oddly enough wearing sunglasses.
“Well that ain’t very nice now, is it?” He smirked. “Names Heisenberg, and don’t worry about introducing yourself, I know exactly who you are.”

Chaos. That was the best description of what you would call your life. It was unpredictable, often finding yourself in limbo, running from one unstable situation to the next, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Stability was something you didn’t consider attainable, at least beyond the stench of decaying corpses and gunpowder. That was your familiar, finding solace in the heavy weight of a gun in your hand or the rubber grip of a tactical knife.
Violence was all you knew. It was your specialty, what you embodied, what you called home. Like a stray dog, you were groomed to realize this was the only way you could survive in the hellscape of your reality. The leash around your neck was old and faded, weathered from years of wear but tight enough to leave its mark embedded in your skin.
Until now, you don’t know how you’ve managed to survive this long, but you stopped counting your blessings somewhere along the way. The only conclusion you came to was that you were simply lucky.
The seasoned agent observed from the sidelines as you sparred with your opponent. He followed the sweat that trickled down your face and hit the mat at your feet with every swift movement you made. You were agile and ruthless when it came to your craft, something he’s helped you nurture since you were put under his wing years ago.
“Watch your blank spots”, Leon called out, seeing his prodigal agent take training as seriously as they would out in the field, just as he expected.
Huffing out a breath, you blocked your face with your forearms and fiercely glared at your enemy. You paced around the mat on the tips of your toes as the droplets on your hairline rolled down your brow to the bridge of your nose, dripping onto the ground. Carefully, you watched for any opening that would help ensure your win while keeping the sides of your body closed off.
In the blink of an eye, your opponent lunged towards you, forcing you to swiftly turn to the side in a dodge and shoot a kick at her ribs. Blocking the hit, she wrapped her fingers around your ankle to keep you locked in place, her fist colliding with your jaw in a harsh blow. It was a dirty hit, throwing off your footing as you stumbled backward. You were proficient in hand-to-hand combat, it was what you were known for, but the female agent was sneaky and got the upper hand before you could regain control of it.
“Awe, the class favorite can’t fight back?”, she taunted you, the pitch of her voice equivalent to that of nails against a chalkboard. Leveling yourself on the mat, you spat out the blood that pooled in your mouth and stained your teeth. As your eyes darkened, you were reminiscent of a feral Doberman, menacing with the crimson red that dribbled down your chin.
“Is that all you got?”, you mocked her playfully, the embers of your rage igniting into a low simmer as your sparring partner eyed you carefully.
“Oh, she’s feisty. Do they always let reckless mutts out of the pen?”, she toyed with you, throwing baseless jabs as a means of distraction. This wasn’t a new thing, a regular occurrence ever since you were put under Leon’s mentorship as a young adult. At first glance, it was a blessing in disguise, given the circumstances of your life at the time. Yet, it seemed to have gotten you into more trouble than you anticipated.
“How about you shut your mouth before I shut it for you”, you barked back, taking a step forward before you felt Leon grab your arm. He was the only person who knew of your tendency to snap in a fit of rage, teaching you to reserve that for missions where you could let loose. Yet after all these years, there were still moments where you couldn’t bottle it up.
With the continuous taunting, you reached your breaking point, the degrading phrases thrown your way brought an itch to your skin that you wanted to claw at and peel away. The agent was doing her best to make you lose your temper, and you hated to admit she was doing a damn good job at it. Leon could feel the tense situation heating up as you tried to escape from his grasp to retaliate. He wouldn’t allow you to jeopardize your training session or get yourself into any more trouble, so he refused to let go, wanting to be your voice of reason.
“Easy. Drop it before you let her get into your head”, Leon said close to your ear, his grip steadily tightening on your arm. Whether in reassurance or a warning, you weren’t sure.
“I’m fucking trying, I swear”, you snarled at him, his hold tense on your skin.
Pulling away from him, you turned your back to the woman across from you, exhaling a shaky breath. You thought you would be doing her a favor by walking away from the fight instead of smashing her smug face into the ground. It wasn’t worth it, you knew that, and the last thing you needed was to make this situation worse by lashing out.
Be the bigger person. You could practically hear Leon’s voice in your head repeating the words back to you on a loop. It didn’t make sense to you, how he was always adamant on walking away from petty fights instead of evening the score, but that was all part of his teachings. Even if it was the last thing you wanted, it was better for both parties to simply walk away.
But of course, you heard that same incessant nagging from the other side of the room that made your blood boil.
“Yeah, go and be a good lap dog”, she muttered with a laugh. The moment her words reached your ears, red clouded your vision and overwhelmed your senses. You couldn’t stop yourself even if you tried.
Turning around on your heel, you pounced on her with force, abruptly bringing her to the ground with a fist to her chest. You found yourself in a messy fistfight, focused on punching the vulnerable spots along her torso with your thighs bracketing her hips, keeping her pinned underneath you. She tried her hardest to throw you off of her, aiming for your face in unfocused strikes or yanking on your hair but to no avail. Most of the hits she attempted were futile, not getting past your nimble reflexes and aggressive offense as your knuckles connected with her nose.
Blow after blow, your hands grew increasingly sore every time they collided with her skin, hearing the audible crack of bone breaking that you tuned out just as quickly as the hits came. You were going too far, managing to stop when strong arms wrapped around your waist and forced you off of her completely.
Leon pulled you away from the beaten agent on the ground, holding her now curved nose with bruised fingers. It was no doubt broken, her lip bleeding with a split and the skin around her eye swelling into discolored shades of purple. She no longer wore that pathetic smirk she had coming into the match, instead, she looked at you in fear as most people did.
“Not a fucking dog”, you mumbled under your breath, knowing that your mentor wouldn’t brush this under the rug as much as you’d like for him to spare you the lecture. It had been so long since you cracked like this, letting your emotions control your actions instead of logic. Jerking yourself out of Leon’s arms, you stood in front of him and mentally prepared for the onslaught of words.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” Leon snapped, his tone sharp.
“Winning the match”, you stated nonchalantly with a dismissive shrug. The training room emptied out after the fight, the agent you wounded being carried out towards the infirmary. You walked to your duffle bag and grabbed your water bottle, taking a sip and swishing the cooling liquid around your mouth, rinsing the blood that tainted your gums.
“You didn’t hear her when she was talking shit? Do you think I was just going to let that slide?”, you retorted, getting closer to his face and holding your ground. Your eyes were glowing with bitterness at Leon, already too familiar with the repetitive cycle of arguments that were part of your strange dynamic.
“That’s the exact problem here, you let her words get to you. When you’re in the field, you can’t let your enemies provoke you into doing something impulsive. I’ve already told you more than once to keep your temper in check”, Leon scolded you, taking a moment to sigh with his hands on his hips like a discouraged parent.
“Out there in the field, they don’t last long enough to open their mouths. You know this. Don’t tell me to keep my temper under control when you give all these other people a pass to say whatever they want”, your voice reached a higher pitch as irritation flowed through your body.
“What did I tell you about losing yourself in a fight?”, Leon questioned sternly.
“You told me to channel my rage into my movements. Isn’t that what I just did? Whatever, it doesn’t matter anymore”, you grumbled, feeling the initial anger dissipating into another emotion.
Over time, it took you a while to understand how to react and interact with people. One of the problems that came with being a prodigy was how people picked on you constantly, you could never figure out why it was part of your experience as an agent.
Maybe that’s what happens to strays, they remain isolated because they don’t belong anywhere else.
“No, you don’t get to use that tone with me”, he wasn’t going to allow your attitude to get the best of you. “You’re only proving my point here. You know that you’re better than letting this push you into throwing a tantrum. Act like it.”
The second his voice became crass you felt a weight in your chest, one that you tried to push down but it only crawled further up to tighten around your throat. No matter how hard you strained to hide it, you hated being the source of Leon’s irritation or disappointment. In the early years of being trained by him, you didn’t care much for his approval or wisdom. You blamed that on the misplaced rage carried by a young adult who thought they knew everything about the world.
It took you years to fully appreciate him as someone who wanted the best for you, hell that was his job. Now at the age of 25, you weren’t so young anymore, you knew the price you had to pay to be in this profession.
You were an adult, one trained to kill and protect others, but there was still the inner child that needed to be handled more than the warrior itself. Leon couldn’t always be yelling at you whenever you made a mistake and he knew that. He also knew he couldn’t always expect a perfect performance from you all the time, that wouldn’t be fair or reasonable.
“Fine”, was the only thing you could say, not wanting to argue with Leon at the moment. You grabbed your bag to throw it over your shoulder as your body started to ache from the earlier brawl.
“Are you done preaching to me now?”, you were still annoyed, but it was your stubbornness starting to show. The longer you stood in front of Leon, the more you felt the adrenaline wearing off, bringing in a new wave of sore spots you will deal with later.
“Yes, I’m done with the talk”, Leon expressed more calmly, ready to give you some time to cool down after this.
“Good”, as petty as it may seem, you wanted the last word, walking away from him with a scowl on your face. You left Leon in the training room and headed towards the showers, hoping it would wash away your growing vexation.
Tumblr media
It was a brief visit to the infirmary to get your new bruises checked out. The only real place you’re so familiar with happened to be the four walls of this room, covered in white paint and filled with the smell of rubbing alcohol. The nurse wasn’t surprised to find you here again seeking her care, quiet as she bandaged up your bloody knuckles, silently thankful that you didn’t break your hand.
You were used to the pain, it was a no-brainer given your occupation, but Leon’s dismay stung more than the disinfectant the nurse used on your skin. You’ve both been working together for long enough that there was no need to keep lashing out at one another. Yet every time it seemed to happen, upsetting Leon hurt more than the strain of fighting altogether.
Hearing a knock at your office door, you called out to the sound, noticing Leon stepping inside with a bag of your favorite candy in his hand. You raised an eyebrow at him, already familiar with his antics after one of you upset the other.
“Are you trying to bribe me?”, you asked him, skimming through the file in your hand and pretending to read it over.
“Yeah, I am. Will it work?”, Leon challenged as he handed you the bag, hoping to win back some of your favor. He wouldn’t let you forget the lecture, but he wanted to assure you that he didn’t intend to make you feel bad about it.
Internally you were smiling, enjoying the fact that he made these small gestures to get on your good side again. After learning how to work with him, you did your best to maintain the relationship you currently had. He was your partner after all, and frankly, he was the only person you had in your inner circle.
“Maybe if you buy me lunch every day next week I’ll think about forgiving you”, you suggested to him half-seriously, opening the bag of candy and popping a piece in your mouth, humming at the taste of the treat.
You and your damn sweet tooth.
“Fine, fine. Lunch for the rest of next week. Will that make you happy?”, he rolled his eyes as he took a seat in the chair across from you.
“Yes, it will. I love it when you’re generous”, your usual pout was replaced with your lips curling upwards. You never showed this softer side to anyone else other than Leon. He saw it as a privilege, being one of the very few people who knew you this well was something he was grateful for.
“Are you still upset with me?”, he asked you, leaning back in the armchair and crossing his arms over his chest. His blue eyes were as sympathetic as they were bright, like a puppy dog craving reassurance after upsetting their owner.
“No, not anymore. You know how I get when you argue with me Leon. I’m not a rookie anymore”, you replied, sucking on the hard piece of candy in your mouth as you spoke. “I am sorry for lashing out like that at training. She just…I hate being seen as some personal lap dog”
“No need to be sorry, I’m just mad at the situation. And you’re not my lap dog, you’re my right hand”, Leon offered you a compassionate look. You were such a child at times, especially when it came to being criticized. But you were stubborn, and it was something he had to learn to live with.
“I know. I’m just fed up with other people not accepting that by now”, you shrugged, releasing a heavy sigh.
Leon understood what you were going through, considering he had been in the same situation so many times he’d lost count. Constantly having your abilities doubted and being underestimated by your colleagues was never easy to handle, it caused unneeded tension that makes you lose focus on the bigger picture. No matter what others thought, you’d always be the best in your field at the end of the day, and a big part of that had to do with what you’ve learned from him over the past few years.
You could feel Leon’s eyes moving towards your jaw and cheek, spotting the faint redness of your skin that darkened under the office light. You knew what he was thinking, a common aspect of your relationship involved him worrying about you, probably more than he’d care to admit.
“I’m fine Leon, it’ll heal. I get hurt enough as it is”, you tried to ease his nerves, but he wouldn’t brush it off as fast as you’d like.
“It’s still my job to take care of you. That doesn’t stop just because you’re older”, he noted in defiance as you hummed with a nod.
Leon’s been responsible for you since you were transferred to the D.S.O. a few months before your 21st birthday. It was a tedious process of trial and error to get you to trust him, to show you that he wasn’t a threat or trying to do more harm than good.
Despite being your mentor, Leon has always been somewhat of a guardian in the years you’ve been in the organization. He took care of you in his unique way, working hard to teach you everything he knows and how to survive, while also showing you the good things life has to offer. As you got older, the guardian title wasn’t the best fit for him, so now you consider him a wise friend.
His expertise in the field allowed you to become an irreplaceable asset to the D.S.O., no longer being just an experiment, but now the perfect agent. Leon had shaped and molded you to become what the D.S.O had envisioned for you once your mentorship began, meeting their expectations and surpassing them with ease.
He saved your life doing that, and it’s a debt you’ll never be able to repay. You didn’t need to pay him back for anything anyway, especially when he was the one who decided to train you.
Leon never really cared much about his work for the government, fully aware that he was another pawn in their overplayed chess game. His encounter with you was something he initially didn’t want, assuming you’d be another setback that would haunt him like a ghost in the night. But as the years grew between you two, he thought you may be one of his greatest achievements in the organization.
“The bruising’s fine, it’ll wear off. Besides, you’ve seen me get worse so a few punches to the face doesn’t mean anything to me”, you reassured him. Your experience working as a federal agent gifted you a collection of scars that has steadily grown over time, the most prominent one being a white line on your upper cheek from a knife graze you got early on in your training. It’s faded but it was still there, a constant reminder of your place in this life.
“Yeah, that’s true. You have had worse than this,” his gaze was fixated on your face as he studied your features. He knew every inch of your facial structure, every curve, and every scar. The bruises you had received in the fight were nothing new to him and nothing to worry about. That didn’t mean he hated seeing you hurt any less.
“Don’t need you getting worried about me, I’ll be okay. I don’t break so easily”, you said, taking in his low hum of agreement.
“What did the higher-ups say after the fight? Hopefully, I’m not on probation again”, you leaned forward on the desk to face him directly now, his expression neutral when you mentioned the other associates.
“They didn’t say anything. I told them what happened, said the other agent antagonized you, and they agreed with my explanation. You’re not on probation, actually, you’re more than welcome to go on another mission with me if you’re interested”, being friends with one of the founding members of the D.S.O. certainly had its perks.
“Thank god. I was going to be pissed if they benched me to do admin work again”, you were relieved that you wouldn’t have to worry about staying behind when there was a mission to complete.
“I know you want me on the next mission anyway. Nobody else can handle your banter”, you joked with him, your sense of humor adopted by his entirely. Leon chuckled at your words, wanting you by his side whenever he went on another assignment.
“It’s not all just about business. Plus, you’re good at making me crack a smile when I’m pissed off”, he smirked as he spoke.
“That’s because I know you well enough to do that by now. Your life would be boring without me”, you laughed under your breath.
He was a hard nut to crack, having such an intense wall to break down just like you did. Once you both managed to soften up to each other, it was smooth sailing from there. Leon knew you better than most, as you did the same with him. You were almost two halves of a person, always on the same page when it came to everything; work, social gatherings, and just in general. He was a part of your life, just like you were a part of his. In sync and inseparable.
“So when do we leave? Are we having a going away party too, as in I drink at the bar and you pay for me?”, you took in the shades of pretty blues as he looked back at you.
“Next Tuesday, we’ll be heading to an unknown location. But we can’t have a party without you drinking all my money away”, Leon teased, aware of what was to come.
“Then it’s settled. Mission next week, and tonight we drink a little bit. Some beers before, and then whiskey after”, you confirmed happily, a grin on your face that seemed to brighten up the room.
“Sounds like a plan to me. A few beers and then whiskey after,” his smile mirrored your own.
It was a ritual before you went on missions together, having some drinks after a day of briefings. Usually, it was mostly Leon watching over you as you got plastered, and when the mission was done, you’d drink some more in celebration to relieve the stress.
“Good, then I’ll see you later on?”, you didn’t need his answer, but you liked hearing that he was all in.
“Yeah, I’ll be seeing you later”, Leon gave you a tilt of his head, standing up from the chair he was lounging in.
“Just don’t blackout this time, I’d hate to carry you back home again”, he reminded you, your bad drinking habits were a tad too much when the occasion didn’t call for it. Most of that was his fault, he introduced you to the world of alcohol when you were legally allowed to drink, but you didn’t blame him. It was either cigarettes or alcohol in your selection of vices, so you picked your poison.
“Yeah yeah, I know. I won’t this time, promise”, you kept it in mind to lay off the booze tonight.
Leon stepped out of your office with a genuine smile on his face, the small crinkles at the corner of his eyes visible in the room’s lighting. Your chest warmed up at the thought of spending time with him, the feeling subtle enough to acknowledge before you buried it down and focused back on the file in your hand.
He knew what you felt. It was easy to read your face, having gotten so used to doing so that depicting your moods became second nature to him. He walked out of your office and down the hall with the same comfort he gets when he was close to you, his expression returning to neutral once he brushed it off.
Another Friday night out with your superior, nothing out of the ordinary.

Could this Valentine's Day be any better?
Tumblr media
Summary: Unfortunately, you are sick this Valentine's day. All the plans you made were gone to trash. Although, Leon still tries his best to make it a special day for you and him. And by best it means… the one that both of you will remember for the lifetime. ;)
Pairing: Death Island! Leon × Gn! Reader
Tags: Tooth rotting fluff, leon calling reader sweet nicknames, leon being a caring boyfriend. (A bit of negative self-talk from the reader's side), Also there's a few Nsfw jokes and a bit of suggestive content so…Not that much so don't worry.
A/N: If you couldn't tell, I wrote this while I was sick and college exams being like a week away 🥲. Also I am single and valentine's just around the corner and yes, I am sick🥲🥲🥲. Personally, not a fan of this combination (It sucks here😭). Anyways, it gave me the perfect opportunity to be delulu about Leon.
So that's what this is - me being delulu, but I hope you all enjoy this fic and have a good day. Thank you to @nexysworld and @luniaxi for beta read🥰
(Also I know it's not Valentine's Day today. Like I said I was terribly busy🥲)

It's Valentine's Day. The day of love. The day of sweet chocolates, beautiful bouquets and heartfelt love confessions.
It was a special day for couples, young or old. A reminder that pure love never grows old or wither away, in fact it only grows deeper as time passes by. The day was a reminder to cherish it as long as you can.
Which is what you would have been doing with your boyfriend today, if you weren't sick. Yes, you are sick, why? Because you have bad luck. A really terrible one.
Out of all 365 days in the year you had to be sick today. The most important day and say goodbye to all the romantic plans you made. The candlelight dinner, the cute dinner outfit you bought. But, no now you have to kiss it all goodbye and just grumble about what could have been.
To say that you were disappointed and angry was an understatement.
You blamed the seasonal changes for the condition you were in. You are in bed, not even having an ounce of energy to sit up properly, a bad throat, headache, body pain, cough and fever.
The only good thing was that your high fever had almost subsided only because of your sweet, caring, most down to earth person, your boyfriend made it his mission to take care of you during these tough times.
The moment he knew you were sick, he dropped everything he was doing and immediately wrapped a blanket around you after he had you settled in bed. Making you hot tomato soup, your favorite ramen, chamomile tea, anything that would help you feel better.
You were in your bed, trying to take a good rest but the body pain you had was making it really difficult. It was noon right now but what could you possibly do besides resting anyways?
“It will get better, just rest. I'm here.” He said as you complained about the condition you were in. He tried to soothe you with the sweetest smile he could muster, his warm blue eyes reassuring you that it will in fact get better even if you didn't believe it.
You clutched your head when you felt the pain coursing its way in your head, giving you a migraine. “I can't sleep Leon…it's so difficult.”
Leon could see the tears of frustration slipping from your eyes as the overall pain troubled you from getting you even a moment of relaxation.
And it broke his heart to see you in so much pain. Knowing he couldn't take the pain away entirely. Even if he was cooking you hot meals and soup it was still going to take some time to heal.
If it was up to him he would move mountains just for you to feel better even for a second. He wished he could just snap his fingers and take all the pain you had and give it to himself. Obviously, he wouldn't say it out loud cause he knew it would get you upset but he really wished he could do all that.
He was willing to suffer, if it meant you would never have to.
Your tired body slowly felt the warm calloused hands, slowly bringing you in his arms and hugging you tightly but keeping his hold gentle, so as not to cause you any discomfort as he cuddles with you. And pulled the blanket over you both to keep you warmer.
You looked up at him with a tired face as he gently rubbed your back with his hand. Slowly massaging your back with his strong fingers, trying to get rid of those sore spots. You felt his soft lips on your forehead giving you a loving kiss, which already had you melting in his big arms.
“Feeling better?” He asked in the softest voice possible and brought his other hand to your temple. Rubbing the sore spot with his thumb gently, which had you crying in pain earlier.
Your eyes slowly closed and a soft relaxed sigh escaped your lips as you gave a small nod. His gentle touch, the sweet voice, the soft kisses surely gave you a moment to relax.
Leon peppered soft, gentle kisses across your whole face while still massaging your back and temple. Soon he moved his hands to your waist to pull you more close so you were pressed up against his chest.
You looked up at him, opening your eyes for a moment, looking at him and wondering how could he even tolerate to even stay this close to you, while you had a running nose & weakness all over.
You didn't feel pretty or cute right now, you felt sick and horrible. Hell, even you wouldn't stay this close to yourself. But here he was… smiling down at you, massaging your sore spots, cuddling with you, trying his absolute best to help you regain your health.
“Have something to say, Darling?” He asked when he noticed you staring at him, lost in thought.
You sniffled a bit and replied. “You know… you will get sick if you stay so close to me.”
You heard a warm chuckle, feeling him hug you tighter. “Worrying about me even when you are sick? You are too sweet for your own good, y'know.”
You rolled your eyes and hit him lightly on his arm. “I'm not kidding.”
Leon chuckled once more seeing the glimpse of the playful attitude you always had. It made him feel better that you were feeling better enough to talk.
He smiled and shook his head lightly. “I will be fine. Relax.”
You huff and say. “You say that now, but if we both got sick at the same time there will be no one to take care of us. Like how will I take care of you? When I'm not even able to get out of bed?”
It wasn't like you weren't grateful for his actions. Of course you were, but if he got sick because of you, the guilt would definitely hit you in the chest about it. Also being sick definitely made you cranky.
Leon raises an eyebrow at your words and tries to hold in a chuckle seeing you argue with him on this, trying his best to be serious. He then smiled and cleared his throat and slowly replied. “Well… first off I'm not gonna get sick. Second… even if I actually got sick, I'm pretty confident I could still take care of you.”
You looked up at him again, a bit touched with his words. “Are you sure?”
Leon playfully rolled his eyes. “Honey, I got infected with viruses you couldn't imagine. This is nothing. So yes, I'm sure.”
Well… he had a point. But you still had something in your mind that you were itching to ask.
You sighed, snuggling up closer than possible. Trying to relax your mind with his scent. Trying to remind yourself that he was really here and not to some far off mission.
You bit your lips nervously. “Are you mad at me for ruining this valentine day?”
Leon’s expression softened further as he realized that you feel guilty. It wasn't your fault, you couldn't control it. Plus, this didn't ruin anything. Yes it was a bit stressful but that was okay, your health was more important than valentine day. If anything this brought you both closer than ever.
“Baby… you can't ruin it just cause you got sick. I love you. Always. Why would I get mad at such a thing? If anything I am glad I got to spend this time taking care of you.”
He pressed a kiss on your cheek and continued. “You can't ruin anything. Ever.” You sighed softly as he said that. A bit relieved that he at least doesn't think it was the worst valentine day ever.
You closed your eyes, feeling the body pain ease a bit. The medications and the cuddling was really taking a number on you. Almost ready to fall asleep.
Leon noticed how you became less chatty, slowly falling in and out of sleep. He slowly sat up in bed, careful not to disturb your sleeping form. And took hold of your legs and slowly started to massage the sore points present in the legs. Fingers applying firm pressure to relieve any pain that you were still having.
A sleepy sigh escaped your lips when you slowly felt the pain go away, transferring you into a state of deep relaxation…
Leon smiled to himself when he saw you sleep, free from any migraines or body pain that you may be having. He continues his massages till he is sure you won't wake up. He then puts a warm blanket over you, and softly whispers. “Get well soon baby, I have a surprise for you tonight…”
Leon gently kissed your forehead and moved away. Now he had to prepare for the surprise…
(Few hours later…)
You woke up after 3-4 hours. Your eyes slowly opened as it adjusted to the surroundings, you turned your head to look at the clock on the nightstand.
5:30pm
You sighed and looked up at the ceiling. You were definitely feeling a lot better now. The body pain was still there but it wasn't that bad. You were still feeling weak but didn't feel like you still had a fever.
A few minutes later you heard some shuffling outside the room. You lifted your head to see what was going on and saw Leon entering the room. He smiled when he saw you were awake.
And came by your side and kissed your cheeks lovingly and mumbled. “Good evening baby… Feeling better?”
You thought about it then gave a small nod with a sigh. “Mmhmm…”
Leon smiled and planted a few soft loving kiss across your face. “Good… Because I have a surprise for you.”
Your ears perked up as soon as you heard that magical word. Surprise. You looked up at him and said, “A surprise…? What is it about?”
He smiled seeing the small spark in your eyes at the mention and gave a wink. “A valentine dinner for us at home, prepared by yours truly.”
Your eyes widened and raised yourself slightly on your elbows to look at him properly. “Wait- As in… A dinner date for today at our home.”
His smile widened further as he took both of your hands and gave it a light squeeze and nodded. A blush rising in his cheeks. If you didn't know any better he was getting a bit shy and a tad nervous too. Such a cutie pie.
“Well… I thought since you were so upset about the whole situation and I know you had plans and everything… So… I decided to bring those plans to you.” You could swear his whole face turned into a cute puppy as he told you about his plan.
Your heart melted, no you felt like your whole body melted and formed a puddle in bed. The thought of him doing so much just to see you happy and cared was enough to give you a whole swarm of butterflies in your stomach.
You were glad Leon came into your life, glad that he chose to be with you. You didn't know what you did to deserve to have this amazing man all to yourself. His icy blue eyes, his sweet demeanor, the way he made you feel… It was amazing.
You didn't know what love was until you met him. Yeah, you thought what love was before him but being with him was just… magical. He remembered almost everything about you. Yeah, yeah the bar was in hell and whatever bullshit.
But if a man like him, who literally fought bioterrorism for a living. Who probably had the most stressful job on this planet did such thoughtful gestures, who almost turned into a puppy when he saw you, looked at you with such warm and sweet eyes… It was hard not to fall in love with him.
You gathered a bit of strength and immediately hugged him tightly, burying your face in his neck and dropping a kiss there. “Thank you… I love you.”
Leon chuckled as he hugged you back. “Love you too. And it's the least I could do.” he saw how your eyes almost started twinkling and how your face brightened up to a few notches. And that's how he knew the job was well done.
Leon dropped a light kiss on your lips and softly said. “Want to get ready for it?”
You gave a nod and he smiled. “Good…Want my help with any of it?”
You were still feeling a bit weak from the illness but it was a lot better. But you weren't stupid enough to say no to his request. So you agreed.
Leon being the gentleman he was, helped you get out of the bed and basically carried you to the bathroom to help you shower. Why would he let you walk when he could just pick you up like a cat and go wherever he wanted?
As you both entered the bathroom he helped you get out of your clothes, prepared some hot water bath, lit some of the scented candles that you preferred to have while taking a bath.
You relaxed in the bathtub while he started to wash your hair. Gentle fingers massaging your scalp, threading through your hair replacing the leftover pain with a feeling of pure bliss. You had a smile on your face as he continued and looked over at him.
“Thank you…”
He met your eyes and smiled. “For what?”
“For… everything. You are the best boyfriend I ever had.”
Leon's smile brightened, feeling a surge of pride in his chest, he then kissed your forehead. “At least I'm best at something.”
You chuckled as he poked your cheek playfully and went back to washing your hair. He then tilted your head a bit and slowly poured down water on your hair to get rid of the shampoo. He then helped you shower through the rest of the body.
When you were done, he helped you get out of the bathtub and wrapped a towel around you. You looked up to see him, to see his face getting scrunched up lightly as he focused on wrapping it tightly around you. You loved it when he would do that, he looked so cute when his nose would just scrunch up lightly as he focused on whatever he was doing. It was simply adorable.
“I feel like a kid getting help in dressing up after parents made me bathe.” You made note as he searched for your clothes through your closet.
Leon had a hearty laugh at the comment and gave you a playful shrug. “Get sick like a child, get treated like a child.”
He turned towards you, taking out the outfit that you previously bought for the ‘dinner date’ you both were supposed to have before you got sick. And helped you wear it.
You smirked at him. “Oh really? Should I start calling you daddy then?”
Leon paused for a moment, his eyes immediately flicking back to you. That nickname always did something for him. And you knew that very well…you couldn't help but just poke him a bit.
A blush rose in his cheeks as cleared his throat and said. “Uh huh… Why don't we just focus on the task at hand. Which is getting you dressed.”
You couldn't help but giggle as he avoided the topic. “Oh you don't like that? I could swear that you did.”
He gave you a stern look and narrowed his eyes a bit. “Babe… don't.”
You chuckled and decided to play dumb. “What? I was just asking.”
Leon cleared his throat again, his blush deepening and slowly said. “I am glad you are feeling good enough to tease me like that. Having fun?”
“Very”
“I could tell.”
You chuckled, deciding to cut him some slack. It's not like you wouldn't like to test his patience a bit more… Maybe after dinner you might.
Leon finished helping you dress up then he also helped you with your make-up, helping you tie your hair up in a bun when you finished giving touch ups to your face.
“Like a doll. You look amazing.” Giving your ass a light smack.
You squealed in surprise which made Leon grin wider and hug you tightly in his arms. And peppered kisses all over your face. “Feeling better?”
You nodded with a bright smile. “Yes, very much so.”
Leon grinned. “Ready for the big date then?”
You eagerly nodded and Leon took a blindfold from his pocket and held it in front of you. “Want you to wear this first.”
You gave a mischievous grin, opening your mouth to come up with a quip but Leon beat you to it. “It's for not ruining your surprise, dummy.” Rolling his eyes at your antics.
You scoffed playfully. “Hey, I didn't even say anything and stop calling me that. It's mean.” You gave a fake pout and Leon couldn't help but chuckle.
It was moments like these that made him feel like that life was worth living. The small domestic moments that he never thought he would get to experience. That perhaps it was worth fighting all those man-made monstrosities and risking his life, if this is what he came home to. His safe haven.
You were worth protecting and taken care of. You deserved every bit of love he had in himself and even his life if you wanted.
Leon turned you around as he tied the blindfold around your eyes. When he finished, he gave another light smack on your ass which made you chuckle. “Well this refreshes some memories.”
Leon kissed your neck and playfully whispered. “Want me to refresh them even more after the dinner?”
You blushed and even if you couldn't see his face because of the blindfold. You bet he was smirking down at you. “Well… Maybe?”
Leon chuckled, taking your face in his hands and kissed your forehead. “Well… I guess you have one more surprise after dinner then.”
You blushed even more and looked away. He grinned seeing you at a loss for words and smiled. Knowing he won that. He then took your hand and said. “Now dinner. Careful not to stumble down on anything.”
He then guided you out of the bedroom, helping you walk down the hallway to your surprise in the living room. He then stopped and slowly removed your blindfold.
Your eyes fluttered open and saw the scene in front of you. Your eyes widened and your hands flew to your mouth to contain the excitement filling your body.
The living room seemed like it was heaven of some sort. Filled with her favorite flowers, rose petals on the floor guiding the way towards the table, present in the middle of the room. The table was decorated with a beautiful centerpiece, filled with roses. The whole room was decorated with red balloons and candles.
If you didn't know any better, you would have thought you were gonna get proposed or something.

You immediately turned around and gasped as you saw him down on one knee. An engagement ring in his hands looking up to you like you were his whole world. You were his whole world.
And it seemed like the whole world stopped for a moment, just for the two of you to have this.
You had like dozens of questions running through your head. Like how the hell did he plan all this? Did he take some help? Of course he did. But how did he do all this, the planning and decoration? And was this really even happening? Or your imagination? Was he really proposing to you? Like right now???
Leon noticed that you were well… speechless. So he took one of your hands and gave a gentle squeeze. That seemed to get you out enough of your confusion and shock. Your voice came out in a little whisper. “Leon… I…”
You didn't realize at first but you had started tearing up. Wiping your tears, you looked down at him and he was almost there, on the verge of tears but holding it in for your sake. He gave your hand a gentle squeeze and cleared his throat. “Did you like it…?”
You had a small chuckle & managed a nod while you were tearing up. Oh, it wasn't even a question that you liked it. You loved it.
Leon looked down at the ring in his fingers once more. He had a whole speech prepared on how he always thought you were the one. (Which Claire and Sherry helped him prepare;)). Now he swore he forgot all of it when the actual moment came.
Leon cleared his throat and looked up at you. You looked stunning, even with tears running down your cheeks you looked the most beautiful person ever stepped on this earth. He took a deep breath and started. “Well… to start… this is not how I planned things would go…”
Leon saw you getting confused a bit then explained. “I was originally gonna do it in the restaurant we were gonna go to… but then you fell sick and I had to bring some improvisation to my plan.”
Leon saw your little smile peeking and his confidence rose up a bit. “Umm… I had been thinking about this for a while. Like a year... And you were also dropping hints all over so yeah, I wasn't dumb enough to not understand them…”
You had a small chuckle and shook your head lightly. It was true, you tried to tease him with some videos of couples getting proposed to all he used to reply with was a small “hmm… nice.” And avoid the topic. And now that he was here he seemed so…vulnerable.
He continued. “I know you felt like you ruined this Valentine's Day. But you could never do that. You could never ruin anything. I know I said that earlier but I want you to understand that fully. Everything about you is… Perfect. Magical. There aren't enough adjectives to describe what it's like when I am here with you. You make me feel… safe and loved.”
You felt yourself tear up more when he said that. You could have never thought he felt like that with you. But you knew he was saying the truth the way he was looking at you.
He interlaced his fingers with yours when he gave a gentle squeeze again this time. “The past few days when you were sick, I loved taking care of you. To show you the love you've given me. The love you show me when you take care of me after missions, patching me up, preparing me delicious food even when you are busy with your office work. It's just… I can't believe that I deserve all that. And yes it's not the first time I took care of you but moments like these… helps me to show you and return that love your way.”
He takes another deep breath to calm himself, not yet realizing that he was tearing up at this point. “So, with all the hope I have right now, thinking I haven't exactly messed up all my speech… Will you marry me?”
You didn't know how you were even exactly standing right now after his speech. You were speechless. You had so much to say… but you couldn't even come up with one word. You gulped and took a deep breath and slowly replied.
“Yes Leon, of course I will marry you…”
Leon sighed in relief and let the tears flow from his eyes freely, holding nothing back and slipped the ring on your fingers. And stood up properly this time. He immediately brought you in his arms, cupped your face and kissed you. Pouring all the love he had for you, the love that couldn't be expressed by mere words only by actions.
You immediately wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him back with all the passion you had for him in the moment. His body pressed up against yours. Feeling his warmth and excitement pour into you.
You both slowly pulled back, foreheads still touching and in each other's arms, having a big dumb smile on both of your faces. “Leon… I… don't know what to say… you… did all this?”
Leon gave a light chuckle and shrugged. “I had help.” And kissed your forehead.
You sighed softly and looked down at your ring. “So now I'm your fiancée hmm?”
Leon nodded and hugged you more tightly. “Yeah. Deal with it. You are not escaping that.” His tone got a bit playful as this continued.
You giggled and playfully said. “Actually, kind of looking forward to be Mrs. Kennedy.”
Leon grinned and cupped your face once again. Having the softest eyes he had for you at the moment. “Oh yeah? Me too. The name suits you.”
He then kissed you softly on the lips again, rubbing your back and just holding you in his arms like you would drift away right now.
You both stayed like that for a moment and he asked. “Feeling hungry yet?”
You chuckled and nodded. “Yeah a little bit. What do you have for me?”
Leon grinned and pulled away, taking your hand in his and walking towards the table in the center. “Come with me, I will show you.”
And so you did. Your heart is still beating with excitement that you will soon get married and be his partner for life. And you couldn't wait for the day to come.
Maybe this Valentine's Day wasn't that bad after all.
Tumblr media
Phew. So that's done. Ngl I started this a few days before Valentine's Day. I was definitely gonna post it then but exams took priority 🥲. I also think I went too delulu over him lmao. But anyways, I really do hope you all enjoy this like I am sorry if this wasn't that good. Half of the time my brain wasn't working.
And I hope you enjoyed Valentine's Day with your loved ones. Have a good day🥰

So I thought of something that would actually give me motivation to go back to the gym and that’s being delusional
So hear me out, reader is going to the gym and perving on Carlos while he works out, he confronts reader only for them to deny it and he’s all like “don’t fkn lie to me” and then hanky panky time happens
Don't Play Dumb
Carlos Oliveira X Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
(A/N: I got you, I got you. He would probably actually have a restraining order if this was real.)
Warnings!!: Smut (Obvi), Fingering, vaginal penetration, FUCKING HONRY MFS, Don't do this irl
Words: 3537
You hated the gym. Despised it. Yet you continued to go. Why? That answer was simple. The gym hottie. Carlos Oliveira. You had pretty much learned his schedule. Maybe it seemed creepy but he was your motivation. He had dark curly hair that got more curly when he sweat, deep eyes that honestly made your heart melt. And who could leave out his fucking muscles?
So, regularly, you found yourself walking the treadmill while watching him lift weights. You would have offered to be a spotter, but frankly you were too nervous. You had your earbuds in your ears, your show playing on your phone while you walked on the treadmill and kept glancing at Carlos.
Something about today… he looked fucking delicious. His black tank top clung beautifully to his skin as he sweat. His basketball shorts were riding up just a bit, revealing a little bit of his thigh. Shit, you knew how pervy this was, But you couldn’t help it.
You tried your best to look away but sometimes when he moved the right way, and his muscles flexed, you couldn’t bring yourself to look away. He made your mouth water and quite honestly, made your panties soaked.
By the end of the workout, it was overall, cleared out. A few stragglers, including Carlos and yourself. You were wiping your neck with a towel, getting your stuff together when you hear footsteps approaching behind you. You didn’t think much of it at first, since it was possibly someone passing by you. But a chuckle brings your attention to the person behind you. You turn with furrowed eyebrows, revealing a sweaty Carlos. His face was red and his hair a mess.
“You look at every guy like that?” He had a cocky smirk plastered on his face and his arms crossed.
“Uh…” Your heart practically gave out. “What?” You try your best to put on an innocent, confused smile.
“Don’t play dumb.” He steps closer to you, your heart wanting to jump out of your throat. “I saw you. You don’t need to lie.” He chuckles. You try to say something but suddenly your mouth feels dry. You were caught in the act. He probably thought you were a weirdo. Which, you probably were. But he didn’t need to know that.
“Well I uh-”
“You need to make your perving less obvious.” He cut you off by leaning down by your ear and lowering his voice. You couldn’t help but stand like a deer in headlights.
“I… I’m so sorry.” You quickly apologize, not really knowing what else to do in this situation.
“So are you gonna answer my question?” He raises an eyebrow.
“What do you mean?”
“Do you look at all the guys around the gym like that?” All you could do is shake your head, not trusting your voice at this moment. “I just happen to be the lucky man?” He laughs.
“I guess.” You kinda squeak out, your voice clearly displaying nervousness.
His hand slips into yours and you let out a gasp as he chuckles and says, “Good.” Before letting your hand go and walking past you. The smell of his cologne mixed with his sweat made you feel like a feral animal in its mating season. You look down at a small slip of paper that now sat in between your fingers. You open the paper up to reveal a number on it.
***
Sitting at home, you couldn’t help but stare at the small piece of paper as it sat on the coffee table next to your phone. Was it real? Or was he trying to make a fool of you? As if you didn’t feel foolish enough for being caught today. Or maybe he’s noticed before and never said anything? God. Your brain was racing.
You inhale and hold your breath as you pick up your phone and type in his number, staring at it before typing up a text.
Y:Hey, it's the girl from the gym. Is this Carlos?
You quickly toss your phone down as you turn on your tv and try to distract yourself. What the hell was wrong with you? You had never felt this nervous texting a man. But then again none of them had caught you perving on them in the gym until now.
As soon as your phone goes off you stare at it, heart pounding in your chest you could barely hear your show anymore. You pick it up, reading his text:
C:So you know my name?
You throw your phone to the other side of the couch as soon as the text processes. You couldn’t really explain that you found his name out by “accidentally” overhearing his conversation with another gym member. God… you really are a creep, huh? You take a deep breath and pick your phone back up. There was another message from him.
C:What else do you know about me?
Text was an easy way to be confident, right? Right? You take a deep breath and begin to type out a text.
Y:Not as much as I wish.
As soon as you pressed send you wanted to scream. He’s gonna think you are weird. That sounded creepy as fuck. The way he answered so fast made you more nervous.
C:Oh, yeah?
Was that good or bad? You couldn’t tell.
Y:Yeah…
You let out a mini scream as a call comes through. It was his number! What the fuck!? You slowly answer it but stay quiet, unsure what to say.
“You there?” Carlos chuckles after a minute of silence.
“I think.”
“You think?” He laughs, sounding purely amused by your answer.
“Mhm…” You hum as you nod, even if he can’t see you.
“You are funny.” Your heart jumps at the compliment.
“Thank you?” You bite your lip as you laugh quietly. You weren’t trying to be funny, but you’d take it.
“So what else would you want to know?”
“Huh?” You are pulled back to the reality of the situation.
“You said you didn’t know as much as you’d like. So what more would you like to know?” You could practically hear a smug smirk in his voice.
You couldn’t outright say his dick size. So you say: “You.”
“Me? What about me?” He questions.
“Just… you.” You shrug as you answer him.
“I thought I was just eye candy.” You could tell he was joking but it didn’t stop your cheeks from turning a deep shade of red.
“I-” You pause for a moment. “I didn’t mean to-”
“I was joking.” He quickly jumps in and laughs a bit. The sound made you let out a nervous, shaky laugh. After another moment of silence he speaks up again. “So you have a name or just ‘Hot pervy gym girl’?” The ‘hot’ part of it definitely threw you off.
“Uh… I uh… Well-” You chuckle nervously. “Hot?”
He lets out a deep laugh that echoes through the room from your phone. “Yeah.”
“Um… It’s Y/n.” You answer.
“Wow.”
“Wow?”
“Who knew your name would match your beautiful face.” You can’t help but roll your eyes.
“Shut the hell up.” You laugh.
“What?” He chuckles.
“You are stupid.” You giggle and look at your phone.
“Hey, that's not very nice. You shouldn’t say that to men you perv on at the gym.”
You sigh as he says it again. “You aren’t gonna let me live that down.”
“Nope.” He sounded very proud of himself.
“Right.”
***
The next day in the gym was interesting. It wasn’t your normal secret staring. As you walked on the treadmill, Carlos kept making eye contact. And he didn’t even try to break it. If he wasn’t watching you watch him, he was very obviously flexing and showing off. Like he knew when you were looking at certain parts.
You inhale deeply and let out a heavy breath as you turn off the treadmill. You grab your stuff before slowly walking over to Carlos, who was just finishing up on the bench press.
“Spot me?” You ask, before looking at the weight plates that were on the bar.
“Yeah. Let me help with this.” He says as he helps you take down the weight and make it even. As soon as he is done helping, he wipes down the bench. You get on and lay back as he stands behind the bar and looks down at you. He did a half ass job of wiping it down, because you could still feel a bit of sweat against your back. But you don’t say anything. Instead you look up at him as you place your hands on the bar.
A part of you couldn’t help but picture you laying like this with him standing over you, and fucking your throat. You shake the thought as you slowly push the bar up and begin to bench press, Carlos keeping a close eye and holding his hands under the bar.
He helps you push the weight up and back into place when finished. You grunt as you sit up and drink from your water bottle. You couldn’t help but notice Carlos’s eyes as they scan over you, a small smirk gracing his face. You look up at him and he looks away, eyes meeting a clock on the wall.
“You know you didn’t completely wipe off the bench.” You point out as you stand up.
“I know.” He looks back at you.
“It’s a little gross, you know?” You wipe the bench off completely.
He leans close to your face, lips just brushing your ear. “Not when you smell like me now.” He chuckles just before standing up and walking away, his hand just brushing your ass. You are left there to blush as you think about what he said. When you turned around, he was no longer in the room. You clear your throat and quickly gather your things, hurrying to the locker room. Fuck, this man was teasing you now. You brush your hand over your face and then head off to take a shower, hoping it’ll relieve some of your pent up feelings.
It was nearing closing time for the gym by the time you finish. So it was mostly empty. You step out of the shower with a towel wrapped around your body. You walk over to your bag and pull out your change of fresh clothes.
You hear the door to the locker room open, and don’t think much of it. Probably just another woman finishing up for the day. As you pull out your clothes you feel a pair of strong arms around your waist. You let out a sharp gasp and elbow whoever it was in the gut. The groan and step back quickly, allowing you to turn around and look at them.
“Carlos!” You gasp as you see who it was. He was leaning over grunting, holding his side.
“I would not want to mess with you. You are stronger than you look.” He laughs as he rubs the spot you had elbowed him.
“I am sorry. Do you sneak up on women often in the ladies locker room?” You joke a bit as you walk to his side.
“I guess we both are weird pervs.” He jokes as he stands up straight.
“Shut up.” You laugh as you roll your eyes. “I never snuck into the men's locker room.”
“You don’t want to. It's scary. And I am a man.” He chuckles as he takes a seat on a nearby bench. You scoff with a laugh as you walk back to your bag. “You washed off my scent.” He teases.
You blush a bit as you bite your lip and chuckle. “Just wanted to wash my own sweat off.”
“Maybe I have to make you smell like me again.” You could hear him get up but keep your eyes on your bag as he walks up behind you. Your heart was racing.
“How do you intend to do that?” You question, your voice quiet as you fiddle with the hem of your towel. He steps up behind you, his arms snaking around your waist. This time you don’t even flinch as his hands find the opening of your towel. His hand makes contact with the bare skin of your stomach and waist. You gasp at how warm his hand felt in contrast to the cool air of the locker room.
“May I?” He asks and you already knew what he was asking for. All this sexual tension and he still made sure to ask. It struck you with something. And in full honesty, made you want to fuck him even more than you already did.
“You may.” You nod, your eyes fluttering closed. Carefully, he pulled your towel off of your body, tossing it on the bench with your stuff. Immediately his hands find your waist, caressing along it. A gasp escapes your lips as his mouth finds a place on your neck, kissing and gently biting at the skin. You didn’t even have to look at him. You could tell he was debating whether he should leave marks or not. And ultimately, he decided to. You could feel his mouth become a little more rough when he makes this decision.
“Fuck…” You let a whimper escape your lips. It is easy for Carlos to tell you may be a little touch deprived. He doesn’t mind. He will just satisfy all your needs that you left untouched.
“Feeling good, meu amor?” That fucking accent while he called you that, sent you into a spiral.
“Fuck you, Carlos.” You chuckle as a soft moan escapes your lips when his hand begins to travel down your stomach.
“So defensive.” He chuckles. “You’ll be putty in no time, don’t you worry.” You could feel his smirk against your neck just before his fingers found your swollen clit. You let out a whine and feel your legs turn to jelly immediately. Why does he have this effect on you? How could one man do all this?
“You are soaking wet, meu amor… Been thinking about something recently?” He teases.
“Maybe. There seems to be this guy… ah… that I think about… some-sometimes…” You stutter through your moans as his fingers rub circles on your most sensitive spot on your body.
“He must be a real catch to have you this wet.” He chuckles as he nips at your shoulder, his calloused fingers moving down to your dripping hole.
“Must be…” You repeat his words as it feels as though your head is spinning. Jesus, you really are touch starved.
“May I?” He asks again, his fingers spreading your wetness over your swollen pussy lips. You can only muster a nod in this moment before his middle finger is slipping into your cunt with ease.
“Shit!” You let out a gasp and whine as he does this. He smirks as he thrusts his finger in and out of you.
“How long has it been since someone has done this to you?” He can’t help but laugh at your reactions.
“Don’t laugh…” You whimper, bucking your hips forward as he adds a second finger.
“It’s cute, darling, don’t worry.” He smirks and nips at your ear. The palm of his hand would brush against your clit with each thrust of his fingers, getting you closer to the edge even faster. You reach up to cover your face as it contorts with pleasure. His free hand is quick to push them down. “Let me see you. I want to see that pretty face when you cum on my fingers.”
“Carlos…” You whimper as you look back at him.
“That’s it. Good girl…” He whispers as he curls his fingers with each movement inside you. It hit the right spot and was getting you closer and closer to that high. Your wetness was dripping down his fingers. It was a mess. And you had just showered too.
“I… I’m gonna…” You moan and whine, biting on your lip.
“Already? I told you that you would be putty.” Carlos chuckles as he continues the repetitive movement with his hand, not slowing or stopping. Within your body is shaking and your walls are tightening around his fingers as you reach that peak.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck… Carlos.” You can’t control the line of curses and his name as they leave your mouth.
“Look at that. So pretty.” Carlos smirks as he takes a seat on the bench, sitting you on his lap as he does so. You could feel the very prominent bulge against your ass as he does this. You don’t say anything as you attempt to catch your breath.
After just a moment of regulating your breathing he is lying you down on the bench and hovering over you. You stare up at him, eyelids a bit heavy.
“We aren’t done.” He had that stupid smirk on his face like always. You hear him fiddling with his belt, undoing it and then his button on his pants following. He pushes his pants down enough to let his cock fall free of his confinements. He was above average. Definitely the biggest you had seen in person. His tank top was pushed up so you could see his happy trail. It made you horny all over again. Which was pretty easy for him to do. He pulls your legs up, holding them under the knees and keeping them spread apart. This allowed him a full view of your already spent cunt. He chuckles as the tip of his cock brushes against your soaked entrance.
“May I?” There were those two words again. You had let him destroy you with his fingers and he still was asking if he could do this.
“Yes.” You nod and stare up into his eyes. As you do so he carefully sinks his cock into your swollen pussy.
“Holy fuck!” You grunt and grit your teeth, a slight pain from his size. It was not awful but not something you are used to.
“I’m sorry, I’ll be slow.” He whispers as his arms are placed on the bench above your head. Your legs now rested against his thighs as he slowly moved his hips against yours. He keeps his eyes on your face to make sure he wasn’t making it worse. It didn’t take long for that pain to fade into pure pleasure and you were thrusting your hips to meet his and encourage him.
With that he grunts in your ear as his hips pick up the pace. Your hands find their way around his body and your nails find his back. You were still sensitive from the earlier orgasm, making this more intense. There is a slapping of your hips against his with each thrust he took.
“Good girl. Taking me so well.” His praises just fill you with more pleasure than before. He could feel the soft clench of your walls around him from his words and it made him feel absolutely insane. He buries his face in your neck, taking in your scent, which was now mixed with his.
“Carlos… please…” You can barely whine out as your nails drag down his back.
“What? Use your words, meu amor.” He bites on your earlobe as his grunts and groans.
“More, please.” Your words come out just as a whimper but he doesn’t hesitate to comply and pick up the pace of his thrusts. Your eyes roll back as your back arches off of the bench you laid on.
“That what you wanted, sweetheart? More of my cock?” He moans against your skin. You can muster up a nod but the only thing falling from your mouth at this moment was pleas of pleasure. He chuckles through his own sounds of pleasure as his hips rock against yours. You knew that you were already teetering on the edge of a second release, in hopes he was at the same point as you.
You could feel your legs shuttering against his toned thighs and that only fueled his ego more, making him slam into your dripping cunt with more vigor. His back at this point was covered in scratches from your nails, and each one elicited a groan from his lips.
“I… gonna… ah, fuck!” You couldn’t even warn him before you are tipping over the edge and the walls of your pussy are clenching around his thick cock. He grunts and stabilizes himself on the bench with his arms as his thrusts come to a complete stop and his hot cum fills your spent cunt. As the two of you are left to fall down from your high, the locker room is filled with heavy breathing and soft whimpers.
“You did so well.” Carlos breathes out before capturing your lips with his as if rewarding you for this. It wasn’t until you pulled away and took notice of the clock on the wall, realizing that it was five minutes to close and you both would have to rush to get out of here.

Hiiiii! I'm typically a v happy n upbeat person but lately I've just been not feeling like myself. I'm always trying to make people laugh and it's always made me so happy when ppl even express that I light up a room :')) But I guess I feel like I haven't been that light for a bit, and I've just been in my head and I just feel like I've been burdening people or maybe I talk too much and it's just been making me really sad. And I feel bad for venting to people so I've just been handling everything on my own aaaaa. I was wondering if you could create an angst to fluff scenario with leon given the information I gave if possible :')? Happy ending ofcofc!! And if you are to write this ask, if you could include some kind of climax where the reader is breaking down (bc I'm a very emotional person n I'm v sensitive n cry super easily) Pls don't be shy to make it as long as you'd like! I love your work sm 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and I hope you're doing well!
Light
You are working on getting everything settled to move in with Leon when your parents pop by short notice things start to head south. They always had a knack for making things go from bad to worse.
Main Character Relations: Leon Kennedy x reader (romantic)
Word Count: 3k (a little over)
Angst with comfort, borderline abusive behavior, complicated family relations, panic attack, happy ending
A/N: Hey, anon! I hope you are doing better these days. Just know that you are loved and cared for. I appreciate you and I hope that whatever you are going through leaves you stronger than you were before. If you ever want to just vent, do not hesitate to message me. I may not be able to respond right away (or if you even want me too) or at all, but if you need to get it out. Get it out.  Please be easy on yourself and reach out to those you trust or authorities if it gets too bad.
With that being said I thank you for your request and I hope that this suffices. I don’t think this is the best thing I've ever written, but it has its moments. Enjoy!

You sat in the bathroom on the verge of tears with your face in your hands. Your tailbone starts to ache from sitting on the side of the tub, the harsh unforgiving acrylic leaving you with no support. You sniffed before finally standing up and moving in front of the mirror. Staring blankly at your reflection.
Don’t. Cry.
You scolded yourself as you looked in the mirror, your eyes slightly red and puffy.
Stay. Strong.
Taking a deep shaky breath you flushed the toilet before turning on the sink. Trying your best to pull it together as you splash some cool water on your face.
You’re fine. You’re always fine. Now go back out there and be what you need to be.
Your thoughts are harsh and cruel towards yourself as you turn off the faucet and dry your hands before you press on your cheeks, trying to wipe off the excess drops of water. This little worm of self doubt wiggling its way in your ear before you take a deep shaky breath. Plastering on a smile you leave the bathroom.
You stop for a short moment before entering the living room, biting your inner lip, fixing your smile to something that felt more natural, and walking back to your former spot. Your ears perk as you pay attention, trying to place the room's conversation before sitting back down on your spot on the couch.
“So, what do you do for work, Leon?” Your mom asks your boyfriend, a coldness to her words.
“Sorry.” You murmur under your breath, “I told you, he’s head of security.”
“I know what you’ve said,” your mother glared at you and you try not to wince under her gaze like you did as a child, “I just want him to explain it to me is all.”
“What is there to explain exactly?” You're defensive, you're on edge, and Leon can more than just see it. His hand finds your thigh and his thumb ghosts over the denim fabric of your jeans.
“There really isn’t much to explain.” He laughed trying to break the tension up, “I handle security for a warehouse up state. Make sure guards are properly trained, know how to deescalate a situation, stuff like that.”
“Interesting. How’d you fall into a job like that?” Your dad asks and Leon directs his attention back to your father.
Leon meeting your parents wasn’t your brilliant idea. You actually didn’t want him anywhere near them for a multitude of reasons, but your sibling let it slip to your mother that you were moving and it just snowballed from there. Your mother immediately jumped on your case and your father refused to look you in the eyes once he found out a romantic interest was involved.
Of course none of this helped your current anxious state. The last few days have been more than just rough on you mentally and physically. With Leon being gone, packing, work, and your antidepressants losing their sparkle, you were in bad shape.
“It just happened, I guess. The police academy didn’t want me and I had to go somewhere.” Leon laughed as he lied. He barely got through the front door before you were shoving a false backstory down his throat. It confused him and this wasn’t how he wanted to do this. He wanted to be honest and direct with your family about his life because someday he wanted to make your family his family. Things were more than just off to a bumpy start as your dad forced out a laugh.
“What made you guys want to drop by?” You ask, trying to relieve Leon of the hot seat. You felt bad for the current situation you put him in, if only he had run a little late.
“We were out and about and wanted to see if you still were in the place, although I must say it looks better a little bare.” Your mom says as she flips open one of the boxes you had sitting on the coffee table, “You would think to tell your parents you were moving up state with a man you barely know.” Three months, you had told them that you had been dating Leon for only three months.
“I was going to tell you.” You got up, shutting the box and moving it away from her prying eyes. Leon’s concern for you doesn’t go unnoticed as his eyes remain glued to you; watching you bite your tongue in discomfort under the unrelenting gaze of your mother.
“When?” Your dad asks. He didn’t seem mad, just heart broken. At a loss for words trying to figure out what moment you stopped confiding in him about your life.
It was about middle school when it happened, when he told you that it was all in your head. That there wasn’t a thing wrong with you because you knew how to light up a room. You knew how to make people feel comfortable, you knew how to make them laugh; and no one who knew how to shine could suffer like the rest.
“When I got settled. When I figured it out.”
“When would that have been? When this fantasy of yours doesn’t work out and he leaves you?” Your mom spits before looking at Leon with little remorse, “I’m sorry son, no offense, but I don’t know you.”
“Mom!” You yelled at her with your patience wearing incredibly thin, “You are not going to come here and start insulting my boyfriend.”
“She’s just saying what we are all thinking,” your father defends her and it takes everything in you to not roll your eyes. “You’ve said you’ve only known him for three months, Christ, you’re probably lying. You’ve always kept secrets from us.” He was right, but you had your reasons. That didn’t make you feel any less bad about it, but still. You didn’t trust them for a reason and maintained a relationship with them out of guilt.
“We just think it’s ridiculous that we are the last to know. We are your parents. We raised you. We took care of you; fed you, clothed you, kept a roof over your head. We deserve to know about your whereabouts with some man!” His voice rising and beginning to boom with anger; an anger you thought you had escaped. Your legs shake slightly as Leon stands up, shielding you from your fathers betrayed eyes. Seeing you in a flight or fight response triggering something in him.
“We just want what’s best for you and I don’t think this is what’s best for you.” Your mom follows up causing your eyes to shift from your dad to your mom, tears welling in your eyes.
“How do you know, huh? Not like you ever truly cared about anything I wanted.”
“That is not true.”
“Not once have you called and asked me a damn thing with any true merit.”
“How could we? You are always hiding! Responding to everything with ‘fine’ or locking the damn door before we even knocked.” Your dad scolded you, wondering what happened to all those years he told you to stand your ground. Did those lessons fall on deaf ears or were you just up against something you couldn’t bring yourself to fight anymore?
“Because you don’t give a damn about anything serious in my life! God forbid you focus on how I feel instead of how you feel.”
“That is not-!” Leon raises a firm hand unable to stop himself. Unable to watch this unfold for much longer. He silenced the argument while your father was ready to push. It was an odd sight to see your father cower in his old age, knowing he didn’t stand a chance against Leon. Your heart pounds in your chest, afraid for Leon regardless of watching your dad back down.
“I’m going to have to stop you, Sir. I think it’s best if you listen to your daughter and leave.” It wasn’t exactly a threat, more of a warning.
“We need to have this conversation.”
“I agree, but not today. Not now.” It took a lot for Leon to not call this the ambush that it was. He was still talking to your father, someone he still felt like he had to impress regardless of the current circumstances.
“If we don’t talk about it today we aren’t bailing you out when this doesn’t work.” Leon’s hands ball into fist and you almost break but Leon beats you to the punch, “Sir, I am certain that if you utter another word like that I will see to it that she will never have to say another word to you again.”
Your parents look at you and you try to hold eye contact with them, but fail as you focus on the wood grain of the floor.
Your father scoffs in disbelief, “That’s how it is? You’re letting someone else speak for you?” Your father asks in disbelief. He just shakes his head at your lack of a response and walks to and out the front door.
“I hope you’re happy, you’ve broken his heart, (Y/N).” Your mother said, looking at you one last time with a familiar glare that made you feel guilty for just existing.
You hear the door slam as you let out a heavy sigh, wiping the few tears that managed to escape away from your face. No one knew how to get to you like your parents did. Leon turns to you softening as he goes to reach for you, but you step back.
“It’s okay. I’m fine. Let’s just get these boxes sorted.” Your voice flat as you turned back to the box your mother was once prying in. “Th-This one looks like a mix of t-shirts and coffee mugs.” You try not to stutter as you feel his hand on the small of your back.
“Hey.” He soothes and where you find comfort in his touch you reject him as you pick up the box. You move quickly and set the box on the ground near the boxes you planned on taking to his place, soon to be your shared place, if you didn’t fuck it up. You took a deep breath as you tried to talk down that voice in your head that said your parents were right.
“I’m- uh- going to check the bedroom for anything else. I’ll be right back.” You moved quickly, nearly sprinting down the hall.
You felt terrible. You felt like a villain.
Leon didn’t deserve a villian, he deserved rest. He had just gotten back from a mission to be greeted with this. A complete and utter wreck. He left one fight to come back to another and you felt absolutely responsible.
Finally finding solace in your now empty room as you carefully shut the door behind you. You manage to walk to the center of the room on wobbly legs. Your chest aching as your fingers tangled themselves in your hair. Every single negative thought you had and every single self destructive feeling bubbles to the surface. Unable to contain it any longer. The air becomes thin as your pulse starts to race and a sharp gasp escapes through your dry lips.
“(Y/N)?” Leon calls for you desperately, forgoing knocking on the door and just entering. Your eyes lock with his and you try to breathe; try to bring yourself to say something to keep him from overthinking the sight of you absolutely breaking in front of him. The words are lodged in your throat though as he looks at you with complete compassion. Your tears finally spill over as your knees give out and you start to fall to them. Taking in an ugly breath as your lungs tighten and Leon’s hands find your arms, guiding you carefully to the floor.
You had failed. You had broken. You weren’t strong enough.
You sobbed as you tried to hide behind your hands as the room felt like it was closing in. Leon was a mess as he scrambled for your attention, “Hey, (Y/N), look at me. I need you to look at me.” His hands firmly run up and down your arms as he tries to find your eyes. Trying to make you look at him, trying to tell you that you aren’t alone.
You felt his warmth leave you and you squeezed your eyes shut as you brought your knees to your chest unable to place yourself in reality. All you knew was that his warmth was gone and you had convinced yourself he was gone. He wasn’t, he just moved his hands from your arms to your face; forcing you to look at him as you opened your eyes. “Breathe. I need you to breathe.” His words barely reach you, but they do as you nod. “With me, okay? In.”
You take a deep breath in, following his instruction.
“Out.” You let out and he repeats, “In.” You continue to follow as he coaches you through the process three more times. Your body is not shaking with as much intensity as your chest starts to relax. Your ribs are no longer burning as the air in the room is no longer thick, making it easy to swallow. Your chest rises and falls with your lungs as the tears slow, but continue to flow.
“I-I’m sorry.” You get out as your hand finds his chest for support as you begin to unfold yourself.
“Don’t. You have nothing to apologize for. Not a damn thing.” Leon says, fighting every urge in his body to pull you into his embrace. You sniff as he wipes tears from your red hot cheeks. “Where are you?” He asks, trying to distract you and get you grounded.
“My place.” You answer.
“What do you taste?”
“Salt.”
“What do you see?”
“You.” He can’t help but smile at your answer. One hand lets go of your face to tuck your hair behind your ear. “Can I hold you?”
‘You still want to? I’m snotty.’ Was what entered your head and it was supposed to leave your lips with a smirk and you were supposed to let out a light laugh, but it’s not what came out.
“Please.” A simple ‘please’ was all you could muster as your arms wrapped around his neck while he pulled you to his chest. Laying your head against his chest you could hear the beating of his heart. Gentle thumps that help you keep track of time as you start to register that you’re in control of your breathing. Leon takes a deep breath, his own worries settling as you relax against his chest.
“My love.” He mutters into your hair while he rubs your back. “Do you wanna talk about it?” He’s been worried about you since he got back, the subtle things you did telling him you weren’t alright. How you distanced yourself in conversation and weren’t as quick witted as usual. He knew that this episode wasn’t all because of your parents, he knew you typically knew how to handle your own against them.
Letting them roll off your back because it wasn’t worth fighting with them when they’d just make it all your fault anyway.
“N-no.” Your breath hitching in your throat, unsure, “Give me a minute. Please.” Finally feeling your limbs ache from the stress as the stiffness in your form starts to ease.
“Take your time, just stay with me. Breathe.” You closed your eyes and despite all of this, you smiled. His warmth enveloping you in comfort as you felt whole. You nodded, continuing to breathe.
“I’m afraid I’ve lost it.” You joked and he just shook his head before placing a firm kiss on your temple. Sniffing you rubbed your nose on your sleeve as you settled into the calmness of your thoughts quieting.
“No, you’re alright. I’ve got you.” He assures you as your heart breaks slightly. “You’ve just had a rough couple of days. You’ll be back on your feet in no time, you’re too stubborn to stay down.” You laughed slightly and his grip on you tightened. His heart burns at the sound of your laughter and his shoulders relax. He was scared there for a minute that he’d never hear your laughter again.
“I love you.” It falls from your lips softly as you look at him. In times like these he was the light in the dark and he shined ten times brighter than you ever could. He’d argue with you a thousand times over about it though and tell you that you were crazy for even thinking he could outshine you.
You found Leon in one of the darkest times of his life, he was an absolute wreck. He felt so much that he felt nothing at all. All his positive attributes drained from him slowly, as he started giving up on the world completely. He could’ve sworn he was a goner until one day in the darkness of a crummy bar he saw this light. He saw you mingling amongst strangers, making them laugh, making them comfortable. A lantern burning with a light that he would happily stay blinded by just as long as he could feel the warmth that radiated off of you.
“I love you more.” His palm found the smoothness of your cheek as his thumb ghosted over your cheek bone. Examining your tired glassy eyes and the way your brows furrowed in exhaustion as he saw you try to place where he was. He sends you a warm smile before his lips find yours in a chaste safe kiss. Regretfully parting from you he speaks again, “What do you say we call it a day and head home? I’ll run you a bath and you can say as little or as much as you want. Deal?” You nod and as you go to push him away from you so you could stand he only holds you tighter. An arm resting under the bend of your knees while his other arm firmly holds you against him. You nearly squeal as he stands with no trouble as he savors the feeling of you clinging to his t-shirt.
“I can walk, y’know.”
“I know, but you don’t need to. I’d carry you everywhere if you let me.” You rolled your eyes while you laughed at this dork. A triumphant smile on his face, “Let’s get you home, light of mine.”
“I know, but you don’t need to. I’d carry you everywhere if you let me.” You rolled your eyes while you laughed at this dork. A triumphant smile on his face, “Let’s get you home, little light.”

To My Dearest One (Leon Kennedy x GN!Reader)
Tumblr media
Premise: Leon comes home after a mission.
Sad Vibes/Slight Comfort, Song fic
Word count: 1072
Content warning: Not beta read or really edited if I'm honest. Vague Infinite Darkness and RE6 spoilers. Leon and his whole deal, especially post-RE4 stuff. Depression. Isolation. Implied suicidal thoughts. Reader is sort of a living emotional crutch for Leon. Also reader is not quite all right. I can't write domestic fluff for the life of me. Look, the grammar is going to be a mess, I constantly switch between using APA, AP, and MLA on a regular basis for professional stuff. My brain is gonna zone out here.
Song fic time and first time writing Leon. Came up with the idea while I was studying for my interrogation test for history and I had a concert where this song was performed playing in the background. Finished writing this in between studying for my psych exam in a couple days. Hope you enjoy (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
Song: Itoshiki Hito E (To My Dearest One) by Kotobuki Reiji (CV: Morikubo Showtaro), Translation by Utapri No Sekai (slight variation by me)
The apartment is quiet besides the sounds of light music and cooking as he enters. Despite living there for a few years, it lacks much character causing it to feel hollow. One of the only things proving that it was Leon's apartment was the sun damaged photos, yellowed with time.
One of them from years ago as he visited Sherry on her birthday. The smile on the girl's face. Claire.
It all felt so distant.
Everything grew out of reach. Nothing seemed to last for a broken man, especially for one who had the bright sparkle in his eyes beaten out so violently.
As he approaches the kitchen, the smell of onion and herbs wafting through the air, Leon notices the nostalgic yellow tinted light that colors the white walls.
At the stove-top was a familiar figure standing before a pot of soup.
You.
A heart made of glass is always... hurting anything that tries to touch it. Yet you embrace it so tight without fear.
His arms wrap around your waist as his head sits upon yours in this rehearsed dance. He smells your shampoo as he takes a deep breath.
"Welcome back, Leon.” You say in a light tone as if he wasn't gone for a little over a week. "I'm making tortellini soup tonight."
He can hear how much you missed him. Even if you don't say it, those feelings tinge your voice.
"Mmm," he sighs with closed eyes, "That sounds good. Haven't had that in awhile."
Leon’s hold on you is strong. He wants to savor the moment.
There’s an itch in the back of his mind; one that would never leave. That this relationship would only hurt you. That he was taking advantage of your kindness. That he could never express just how much he loved the sense of normalcy you brought.
As if sensing his emotions, you quietly grab his left hand with a softness Leon wasn’t used to feeling.
Your hands were light compared to his calloused hands, which were covered in blood. Regrets marred his digits.
The plush feeling of your lips is unfamiliar to his inner wrist. This intimate touch caused Leon to melt.
A simple touch, a simple act, a simple situation in your eyes but it doesn’t feel so simple to him.
A clink as the spoon is set down. You turn around to face him.
But such happiness is sometimes, through cruelty of God, suddenly in front of my eyes… disappears and it makes me so scared.
The look in your eyes, how greatly it contrasted the steely eyes he would see everyday. Fresh eyes that didn’t twist with fear, changed. Not hardened by painful experiences. The look in your eyes is different.
Tired but understanding.
It is something that Leon was grateful for. A calm in a life that he felt so little choice or support in. A happiness from not feeling alone.
A deep hunger satiated but it caused a fear to rise.
What if you saw what he faces everyday? What if you got hurt even more than before? What if… you left?
They kept scratching at the back of his mind.
I live only for your sake. This voice will take an oath, to my dearest one.
Night carried on. Dinner came and went. No discussion of his work.
The ticking of the clock counting down the seconds before the feeling of the mattress would soon greet the two of you. The nighttime routine felt so unfamiliar. He was a stranger to this domestic moment.
“Apparently Sara,” your coworker, Leon had to remind himself as you spoke, “had decided to drag me out while you were gone. Saying that I was being too focused on work again.”
You roll your eyes in a familiar manner as you wipe the skin of your face with a cloth. There’s a soft, tired look, one that is aware of reality.
“Right.” Leon responds. “I already know you were hunched over your desk, typing away at a proposal looking like Gollum." He chuckles as he remembers the first time he saw you at work.
“Hey.” You pout cutely in response, before sitting on the bathroom counter and sighing. “Let me see your face.”
You put out your hand expectantly and he obliges as he puts his chin in your hand. Reaching with your other to grab his cloth and wetting it with water, you smile sweetly with the look that Leon loved.
A careful caress with the cloth as you clean his face. Your thumb traces over faint scars, reminders of the memories he can never escape. There’s a tightening in his heart at this touch.
As you finish and wring out the cloth, you turn back to face him still sitting on the counter. The softness of your hand shifts to cradle the side of his face.
In response, he lifts your chin with his fingers and gives that charming smile of his. “I have the world in my hands.”
“Not sure about that.” You reply softly. “Pretty sure I got it in mine.”
As you get into bed, due to a learned habit after living with Leon for four months, get into the side of the bed away from the door. He lies across from you and lets out a heavy sigh, as he feels exhaustion wash over him.
His hand finds its way to your waist as the light turns off. Leon’s face burrows itself in the crook of your neck, like something was commanding him to get as close as possible to you. To find the core to the warmth. The rhythm of your breath, a lullaby, gently sends him to sleep as his fingers curl atop your skin slightly.
Even at that moment, the scratching turned into digging.
Your eyes heavy and on the verge of the precipice, a whisper drifts from Leon’s lips as he is asleep.
“My only… Make me happy when…”
Will it be sent to you? Will it be conveyed? Words will never be enough… for this feeling of mine, to my dearest one.
By the time the rays of the sun bounce off your gentle skin, Leon is awake and doesn’t move as he watches you sleep peacefully. A smile creeps onto his face as he notices a line of drool.
In that moment, the man, who long lost his faith and wishes, says a silent prayer.

My Fair Maiden is a Female Gender-Locked IF that is based within the world of Resident Evil: Village. Please be aware that there will be themes that are not suitable to some readers and thus this story will be rated 18+. This game will also be free from start to finish.
You hadn’t been expecting much when you had moved your entire life from the bustling city that was Seattle to the quaint, albeit slightly rundown, village of Valdelobos. All you knew was that you needed a break from the packed city streets and constant calls from your ex.
If you had known what would be awaiting you upon your arrival? Of the target that you’d become? Of the creatures that lurk within the shadows pull towards you?
It’s a safe bet that you would have never gotten off your plane…
Will you be able to survive not only the harsh climate that surrounding the isolated village but the advances of the Lord’s themselves?
Important Note: You will choose early on which Lord/Lady you’ll want the most attention from. (Meaning that’s the route you’ll be on.) This is a Twine IF.
Features
The MC, while being Gender Locked Female, will be customizable. Name, appearance, sexuality, portions of your backstory and hobbies.
While this is a romance focused story it still is set within the world of Resident Evil. It’s not going to be as dark, but it will have its moments.
Romance 1 of the 4 Lords. Or maybe you’ll set your sights on the High Priestess herself. (Also Moreau looks different for the purposes of this story.)
Bond with the villagers or possibly the lycans that inhabit the woods surrounding the village. Just make sure you don’t take on more than you think you can handle.
Prepare yourself for what is to come…. or who.
DEMO (TBA)
Tumblr media
Mother Miranda
The High Priestess herself. The very woman that the villagers believe to be a Goddess. Whatever shall you do when said Goddess sets her icy gaze onto you?
Lady Alcina Dimitrescu
Many stories are told of the Countess that lives within Castle Dimitrescu. Of the horrors that lurk within the gilded walls; how many that enter will never return. Will you be one of the unlucky ones that enter the Lady’s domain and never return?
Lady Donna Beneviento
Out of all the Lords, Lady Beneviento is one you haven’t heard much of. Something that’s quite ironic as no one has ever heard her speak, unless you count the handmade doll forever by her side, and even less have actually seen the face that lies beneath the dark veil. Will you be one of the few that does?
Lord Karl Heisenberg
A cocky individual that storms through the village like a winter snowstorm. You could hear his boisterous laughter from across the village square, but you can’t help but be intrigued by the hidden emotions lurking within his golden gaze. Will you be able to find out what lies beneath the mask of bravado he always wears?
Lord Salvatore Moreau
Almost as much of a recluse as Lady Beneviento, Lord Moreau rarely leaves the reservoir that he calls home. You’ve only ever been able to catch glimpses of his hunched form, but the kind golden eyes that peer out from beneath his cowl makes you want to learn more. Is that something that’s even possible? Only time will tell.

Chris was five drinks in at the STARS party when truth or dare started. He was several more drinks in when Jill dared him to kiss the captain.
“Jill! You can’t– that’s not!”
Wesker leveled a cool stare at him. “Are you not going to abide by the rules of the game, Chris?”
Chris choked on his words, and felt hot, and woozy. He turned to look at the captain.
“Am I gonna get in trouble for it?”
“Find out.”
Chris wobbled his way into Wesker’s lap. He pressed his lips against his, while the rest of STARS catcalled them.
