oh man, i would love to hear your thoughts on significant digits, i understand if you are not very far in yet but all the same
i'm pretty far in- i just started arc 3 of 3. i'll probably post more substantial thoughts once i'm done but:
i really enjoy the perspective switch interlude bits, especially that one with the Shichinin where they do this whole ridiculous Mission Impossible car chase for a while. it's really fun getting different perspectives on all the plot stuff, largely staying away from Harry's POV.
i kinda predicted the twist with [REDACTED], and was kinda disappointed that was what was up. like, there was some real meat on the bones of that conflict that i'd have liked to see play out! we're still kinda getting that with Tír inna n-Óc, but they seem more like generic shadowy badguys than an interesting ideological conflict currently. still time for it to develop, though!
unicorn goddess hermione and her cadre of traumatized almost-cultists occupy this very weird and interesting social position and honestly a story just about them would be pretty compelling if it had room to breathe.
lmao pip you try so hard at trying hard but fail so badly all the time. i'm rooting for you but boy do you not deserve it.
like, overall my only real complaint- which is a complaint i almost never have- is that the plot moves too fast. there's so many interesting side characters and unique perspectives that i kinda want to stick around and see them develop, but most of the time it moves on to bigger things before we really get that. the shichinin, pip, reg hig, lawrence and annabeth, the various Returned- lot of fun characters! but we're back with Harry now and idk if there's room left to have as much fun as we could with the rest, with all the plot threads left to wrap up. "this stuff is good and i wish there was more of it" is a pretty good complaint to have about a thing, though.

🎄Giftmas Day 10: Homemade Calendar--Grucy
Heavily inlfuenced by @newtonsheffield's ideas about Grucy--go check her stuff out!
Gregory and Lucy open secret santa presents with their friends--and take a couple milestone at the same time.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Lucy! Catch!” Lucy reached and slapped her hands around a very flat Christmas present. The group cheered at her dexterity, one harnessed over many years of lacrosse at school, before handing out the rest of the secret Santa presents.
Now becoming an annual tradition purely because this was the second time doing it.
Although second year spread them over a couple houses, the group had stayed together, the bond established over numerous cheap drinks used to pre-game before nights out. A bond established when Hermione organised a flat Christmas lunch that included a proper turkey, and yes, secret Santa presents.
Just like last year, the group sat stuffed from a hilariously cobbled together Christmas lunch, passing around presents and the bottle of buckfiss that Gregory had splashed out on.
But this year, Gregory sat next to Lucy—not Hermione. This year, Gregory spent two hours in Lidl with Lucy, easing her anxieties around which stuffing to purchase. Then he had spent another two hours that afternoon helping Lucy cook for all eight of them—sneaking in a quick kiss under a sprig of rosemary.
It’s tradition Lucy!
That’s mistletoe, not rosemary, Greg.
I had to improvise! He had cried with that gorgeous smirk and adoring eyes pointed at her; not at her best friend, but her.  Lucy had been unable to tame her blush for the entire afternoon.
Four weeks in and it all felt so utterly new even though the pair of them had been gradually slipping into one another’s hearts over the last six months—a fact their friends pointed out upon hearing their official news.
Indeed, August had accelerated things. The friendship group had spent a week at Gregory’s home swimming in the lake, playing croquet, and playing hide and seek in the old servant quarters. On the final night Gregory and Lucy had stumbled upon Hermione snogging Lucy’s brother—Hugh. Lucy and Gregory had walked the length of his estate (no other word for it, no matter what Gregory protested), Gregory heartbroken after a year of pining and Lucy in shock after years of friendship suddenly shifted.
Back in Bristol Lucy would pop over to Gregory’s whenever Hugh visited from Bath, ready for him to introduce her to yet another Marvel movie and escape the soppy, and incredibly vocal, couple.
Then those evenings turned into study periods at the library, Gregory flicking pens at her whenever he sensed Lucy burning out—buying snacks from the shop when the pressure from grades overrode Lucy’s basic functions. Those study periods turned into teaming up at game night, slightly-longer-than-appropriate goodbye hugs and a constant text thread. Then one movie night, as the credit for Endgame rolled, Gregory leant over and wiped Lucy’s tears away. His fingers lingered and, basking in the soft glow of the screen, they kissed.
Not much had changed, apart from Gregory kissing Lucy goodbye and sometimes doing a little more than that during movie nights—which had moved to his bedroom.  The pair rarely engaged in PDA, to the point that it took almost two weeks until all their friends realised, they had ‘officially’ become a couple. Lucy liked kissing Gregory or holding his hand, but it always felt showy—too showy. It always made her stomach squirm, her shoulders tense, as if her uncle had caught her with her hand in the biscuit tin again.
Gregory had accepted this, although his hands always reached for hers even just to brush her knuckles against his. Just as he was doing now.
“Go on! Open it, Lucy Lou,” Harry called.
Lucy ripped open the present and gasped.
“What a naff gift.” Tamira commented, leaning over Lucy’s shoulder.
“I know we said tenner tops, but they could have tried—especially for Lucy,” Hermione pipped in. Although enwrapped on her boyfriend’s lap, Hermione’s protectiveness had not wavered within their friendship.
Lucy did not say a word. With eyes she flicked through the personalised, homemade calendar. The photo headers were various mathematical/scientific figureheads with little speech bubbles containing maths puns.
All her deadlines had been outlined in her designated colour, along with holidays and birthdays—those days had a little birthday cake doodle around the date. Her fingers ran over the little stickers dotted around each month, typically aligning with festivities—shamrock in March, holly for December and more. Then came the markers which gave away the identity of her secret-Santa—every new Marvel release date circled in blue and May 4th decorated with star wars stickers.
Lucy turned to find Gregory blushing profusely.
“You need a new one and it’s in budget and you don’t want me to get you’re a ‘proper’ Christmas present so…I…”
Lucy leaned over and kissed him—properly. Gregory reeled back in surprise before softening. He shifted them, swinging Lucy’s legs into his lap, so he could lean further into the kiss with unyielding passion.
“Ok, ok lovebirds, calm it down!”
“I love you,” Lucy whispered with a final peck. Both their eyes widened. Lucy cringed and started to withdraw.
Gregory chased her lips and kissed her again, cupping her face and ignoring the protests. When he pulled away his eyes shone,
“I love you too,” he whispered back.
While the group continued to open presents, Lucy made no attempt to remove her legs from his lap or stop holding his hand.
And from then on, whenever Gregory’s knuckles reached for hers, she would thread their fingers together and hold on tight.

Stronger Than You Think
george weasley x reader
requested? yes/no
summary: after george was tackled to the ground by the most beautiful girl in the world, the quidditch prodigy and the legendary sister of victor krum was the last person he’s thought he’d be falling for.
warnings: poor georgie gets beat up a lil accidentally, slight mention of food, & downplaying of one’s self. i think that's it! (gif is not mine, credit to owner!)
words: 2.2K
The Weasley family arrived to the Quidditch World Cup early that morning. The whole lot of the walking feverishly to find their tent, the excitement and anticipation was building quickly. Once they had arrived to their home for the night, Fred and George were sent out to get firewood. They exited the tent in a hurry, wanting to head back in time to join all of the fun.
The crowds at the event were huge. George had never seen that many witched and wizards in one place ever before. Voices echoes from all around, passersby sneaking their way through the groups of people. George went to go turn to tell his brother something when bang.
George was seeing stars. He had been knocked over aggressively by someone rushing through. His shoulder ached, and he turned to see the person who knocked him over, laid right there next to him, clearly unaffected by the blow. The person next to him jolted up, showing no signs of injury.
It felt like his arm had been ripped out of his socket. He looked up to see a girl his age grabbing his arm and pulling him back up. Her build was strong and looked as if she could take George out with a single blow if she wanted to. Her log hair was pulled into a plait at the back of her head and she was wearing Quidditch robes; though George was so near concussed he could hardly tell what colors they were. But, one thing he knew for sure is that he was the prettiest girl he had ever laid eyes on.
‘Sorry, lad!’ her thick accent laid out, ‘Late onto the pitch, hope your arms alright!’
She yelled as she ran in the opposite direction towards the stadium. George shook his head in disbelief, because what had just happened. He simply turned to Fred, who apparently was just as flabbergasted as him, and shrugged his shoulders. It wasn’t like he would ever see her again, so he just let the moment go.
After a few hours of pre-match activities; the Weasley family, with the addition of Harry and Hermione, all walked in unison to the Minister’s Box to watch the game. Minister Fudge’s voice rang out across the stadium, announcing the teams that would be competing for the cup: Ireland and Bulgaria.
Players took their start onto the pitch, Ireland was first. Then, Bulgaria. Screams echoed from the crowd, all eager to see the game that was about to take place. As the team wearing read swung out on their brooms George’s hart stopped.
There she was. The beautiful girl who nearly ripped his arm out of his socket on accident. Well, at least it made sense now, George said to himself. Her strong arms and stocky shoulders said it all. She took her place as keeper, the youngest to ever play on a team next to-
‘Viktor Krum!’ Bellowed Fudge. The crowd went crazy, cheers echoing ‘Krum, Krum, Krum’ throughout the arena. ‘And joining him this year for her first Quidditch World Cup, his sister, y/n Krum.’
George’s breathing had stopped completely. Not only was he bulldozed by the youngest keeper in all of Quidditch history, but he was bulldozed by Viktor Krum’s little sister. He watched her with stars in his eyes. The only word that came to his mind for describing her was wow. His eyes only searched for her throughout the entire match, even missing Viktor catching the golden snitch.
The game was over far too soon in George’s opinion, he could watch y/n play for hours. Her skill, her fearlessness, her ability; he wanted to keep watching it all. However, much like all good things, they must end; and that night they headed back to the Burrow.
George spent the rest of the summer thinking about y/n, she couldn’t escape his thoughts. He knew how stupid he sounded. As if a world renowned Quidditch player would pay attention to the boy she bumped into on accident, or let alone remember him. He let out a sigh of frustration, if he could just have one more chance. The chanced of him seeing her again were so slim, he lost all hope.
The rest of the summer flew by and soon everyone was back at Hogwarts. George and Fred were reunited with their best friend Lee, as they all gathered at the Great Hall for the start of term feast. It was obvious to Lee that something was up with George, as the twin had never been this quiet, always having some story to tell about his summer back home.
‘What’s up with you, George?’ Lee questioned.
Fred let out a chuckle, ‘Georgie’s in love, that’s what’s up.’ He grinned.
George scoffed at his brother, ‘I’m not in love.’ Fred rolled his eyes at him, and George sighed. ‘Well, maybe. But it’s never going to happen. So, lets drop it.’
Lee gave him and understanding nod and a sympathetic smile. They all turned to face Dumbledore, who was giving his usual start of term speech, when he said something that perked every students’ interest. He announced that the Triwizard tournament would be taking place at Hogwarts that year, a way to unify the wizarding schools in Europe.
Just then the doors of the Great Hall opened to reveal a group of students in large coats entering the room. Dumbledore announced them as Durmstrang. Their robes were a mixture of brown and maroon, and they had a confidence about them as they walked. Suddenly, something caught George’s eye, or rather someone. Y/n. Walking into the Great Hall with her brother Viktor Krum.
George’s jaw nearly hit the floor. If he was expecting anything interesting to happen this year, it most definitely wasn’t this. She kept a straight face as she walked past the tables, her long braid flowed behind her as they approached where Dumbledore stood.  He faced Fred slowly, who wore the same expression on his face. ‘Is that-?’ Fred started.
‘Yeah, Fred.’ George finished in his mesmerized state, practically drooling over his own words.
George stayed up the entire night thinking about her. Was she really at Hogwarts? Or was he just dreaming? Now was his chance, he had to make a move. However, it seemed as if someone else was going to make the move for him.
Fred and George walked down the, now much more crowded, corridors to charms. Three schools in one castle, no matter how big the castle was, caused for much traffic on the way to classes. Suddenly, a voice yelled out to George in the hallway.
‘Oh, Mr. Weasley!’ Called out Professor McGonagall. ‘Perfect timing. You are to show Miss Krum to her classes for the week; and considering how well you and your brother know the castle, it should be an easy task for you.’ She side eyed him.
‘Me? Professor are you sure?’ George stuttered out. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He was supposed to show the girl he had been crushing over all summer around the castle?
‘Yes, Mr. Weasley. I am quite sure, or did I not make myself clear enough.’ Professor McGonagall said sternly, her lips tugged into the faintest glimpse of a smile.
‘No, Professor. I mean, yes, Professor.’ George felt his face heat up. ‘You can count on me.’
‘Very well. Off you two! Classes will start shortly.’ The older woman said before she left a mess that was George Weasley with the girl in front of him. He had never been so grateful, yet mad at his head of house. Y/n  smiled sweetly at George, ‘Hi, Mr. Weasley, I’m y/n!’
George swallowed, ‘Hi, um, you can call me George. So, what class do you have first.’
Y/n took the time-table out from her bound leather bag, handing it to the boy. But, in actuality she was staring at his face with a most quizzical expression. ‘I know you from somewhere, Mr. George.’ She hummed, staring into her eyes.
George felt his palms get sweaty, and his throat close. ‘Just George is fine,’ his voice cracked. Her expression changed as soon as the words left his mouth.
‘Oh, Merlin! You’re that boy I nearly took out at the Quidditch World Cup!’ She gasped covering her mouth, ‘I am so sorry about that!  You ought to believe me when I say that I wasn’t looking where I was going!’
George’s nervousness turned to amusement; because not only had she remembered him, but she was a blabbering mess in front of him as well. He smiled and put her hand on her shoulder, silencing her rambling. ‘Not to worry, y/n. But I must admit, you did some pretty heavy-duty damage to my arm.’ He laughed. She relaxed, grinning.
‘Well, you know, you did put up a good fight, thought for sure I was knocking over another Quidditch player.’ Y/n slapped his arm, playfully. George winced at the touch of her strong, but innocent blow. ‘Merin! Sorry, I really don’t know my own strength sometimes.’ She smiled weakly at him.
George shook off the blow, ‘I live in a house with four older brothers, is that the best you got?’ he teased her.
‘Oh, you are so on, Weasley.’ She giggled at him.
George arrived back to the common room after classes with a wide, goofy smile plastered onto his face. He sat down next to his brothers and sister who sat near the fireplace in the center of the room.
‘Someone looks happy,’ Ginny teased.
‘Yeah, I’d be happy too if I got to show Viktor Krum’s sister around the castle.’ Ron said half seriously and half mockingly.
‘His sister or Viktor himself,’ Ginny stuck her tongue out.
Ron rolled his eyes, ‘Shut it, Ginny.’ He mumbled under his breath. The crowd of them sat laughing, when George pipped up.
‘She’s so wonderful. Her hair, her smile, her humor.’
‘Her super human strength.’ Fred nodded in agreement.
George playfully shoved his brother, ‘Now, now don’t be jealous. I got to ask her out, except I have no idea how. I can’t mess this up.’
‘Well, you can ask her to the Yule Ball,’ Ginny stated.
‘The Yule Ball, the bloody hell is that,’ Ron asked.
‘Honestly, Ron. Do you ever  listen when Dumbledore speaks?’ she huffed, then turned her attention back to George. ‘It’s a sort of dance, a tradition for the Triwizard tournament. You can ask her to be your date, then just hope it goes well enough for you to snag a day at Hogsmeade with her.’
George shook his head, a smug smile on his face. ‘Great thinking, Gin. Thanks!’ He ruffled her hair, then headed back up to the dorms.
The next few weeks, went by fast. Too fast. It wasn’t long before snow began falling, coating the grounds of Hogwarts in a beautiful white. George and y/n began talking more and more every day. Their friendship extended beyond George only showing her around the castle to them playing Quidditch together, watching the events of the Triwizard tournament in each other’s company and on occasion studying together.
With every passing day, they grew fonder of each other. One day after picking y/n up from potions, her and George headed to the courtyard to enjoy the snow. George brought some of his favorite treats from Hogwarts for her to try along with them.
‘Wait what is this one?’ she questioned holding a pastry in her.
‘It’s called a treacle tart.’ George answered laughing. She raised her brow, a suspicious look on her face. ‘Just try it! Trust me, I think you’ll like this one.’ George convinced her.
She took a small bite, face turning upside down, ‘No way, George. Way too sweet!’ George chuckled at her, ‘I do think my brother will like it though, he has quite the sweet tooth.’
Y/n returned his sentiments and laughed. They sighed together, taking in the fun they were having. George smiled shyly, ‘So about your brother, must be pretty cool having him be the greatest seeker and all that. Definitely never a dull moment for you lot.’
The girl nodded her head, ‘Never a dull moment is right,’ she scoffed. ‘I love my brother, but you know it can be hard sometimes. He is so accomplished, everyone’s favorite. First Quidditch, now this tournament. I’m constantly in his shadows. Not that I mind, I just wish someone would see me for me, not just his little sister.’
George sent her a knowing look, y/n exhaled. ‘Sorry, you probably didn’t need to know all of that. I-‘
‘No,’ George interjected, ‘I know how you feel. Fred, my brother, he’s everyone’s favorite. Not to mention Bill, Charlie and Percy, all prefects and head boys. But, you just try to find what makes you different. Do things nobody thinks you can do. And you’re a talented witch, you can do anything you set your mind to. Not to mention I had no idea who your brother was when I first met you.’
Y/n blushed at his words, ‘Thanks, George. That’s really kind of you.’
‘Not to worry,’ George said. ‘And while I have this new-found confidence, how would you like to be my date to the Yule Ball, if you don’t already have one.’
Her face lit up, eyes twinkling like Christmas lights. ‘Of course, George! Of course, I’ll go with you.’ She pulled him into a tight hug, knocking the breath out of him. George had never felt happier then he did in this moment.
‘Bulgaria may have not won the world cup, but you for sure won my heart.’
‘Are you always this much of a jokester, Mr. George?’
(a/n: thank you so much for reading! i hope you all enjoyed it, it was such a cute request! sending love and positive vibes! -xo mari)

Paring: Draco Malfoy x Reader && Harry Potter x Reader
Word Count: 2.2k

I’ve got more ideas to continue but we’ll start with this. If there’s spelling/grammar problems, don’t come for me!! Ya girl is not an English major. This is based off the “19 years later” but doesn’t follow that story line!
Italics is a flashback!!
Tumblr media
September 1st. Walking into King’s Cross Station brought back a flood of fond memories. You remembered the first time you ever entered those doors. You had grown up hearing all of the beautiful things Hogwarts offered from both of your magical parents. The day you received your Hogwarts letter was the best day of your life. Now, here you were, hand in hand with your husband and three children, sending off your oldest and middle child to start their journey at the magical school. How lucky were you? You had married one of your childhood best friends, Harry Potter. Though you two never looked at each other as romantic partners until after Hogwarts, you loved being his wife. The two of you had been blessed with two boys and a girl. Today, the family of five would be downgrading to three, as James and Albus would be boarding the Hogwarts Express. You would still have your sweet Lily with the two of you at home. You stood back with your daughter as Harry helped calm Albus’s nerves. James had already said his goodbyes and boarded the train with his friends. Hermione and Ron would be sending off their daughter, Rose, this year. They engulfed her in hugs, saying their goodbyes. You watched fondly as you ran your fingers through Lily’s strawberry hair. “Why can’t I go with them, mummy? It’s not fair!” Lily exclaimed, breaking your gaze from your husband and son. You chuckled and leaned down to kiss her head. “You will have your chance, my love. You’ll have your letter soon.” She looked up at you, bearing her father’s bright eyes, and smiled. “I hope to be in the same house as you, mummy.” You smiled and nodded, hoping the same. You loved being a (Y/H). Albus and Rose boarded the train together, waving more goodbyes through the train window. Harry had joined you, wrapping an arm around your waist. “Can you believe it, love? We only have one more to send-off.” He said before kissing your temple. You smiled and leaned into his kiss. “I just hope they don’t have to go through everything we did as kids.” Ron pipped up. “They will do great, Ron. I know it.” Hermione said, wiping a tear as she continued to wave as the train pulled away from the station.
Once the train was out of sight, you all began heading back to the exit when a pair of cold, grey eyes met yours. A pair that you had not seen or wanted to see in many years. The pair that belonged to Draco Malfoy. What was he doing here?! Your husband felt you tense up, stopping to look down at you. He followed your eyes and saw exactly what was causing the problem. He knew of your history with the Slytherin blonde boy. You loathed him from the minute you saw him your first year. He constantly bullied Harry and your friends, jealous of Harry’s fame. Things began to change, however, during your fourth year. Draco had been dared to ask you to the Yule Ball by his fellow housemates. He accepted, wanting to make the night terrible for you. You accepted his terrible invitation, as you couldn’t find a date and you had a slight feeling there was something more to the invite.
“Are you mental (Y/N)?! You’re seriously going to take Draco’s invite to the ball?!” Hermione shouted. You silenced her immediately, not wanting Harry or Ron to find out, at least not yet. “Well, I don’t exactly have a date, Hermione. I wasn’t lucky enough to get someone like Viktor.” You didn’t mean it to sound hurtful, part of it was jealousy, as every girl wished the Tri-Wizard Champion had asked them. You looked at your long, black ballgown in the mirror, running your hands down the front out of nerves. You picked black for two reasons, one, you always loved the color on you, and two, you felt the color matched Draco’s cold heart. “Ready, then?” Hermione asked, breaking you from your trance. Nodding, you spun around and headed for the Great Hall. As the two of you approached the Great Hall, you could hear Draco and his idiotic friends laughing. You rolled your eyes, asking yourself why you decided to do this. Harry and Ron stood at the bottom of the stairs, Ron catching a glimpse of Hermione first, leaving him speechless. Harry followed his gaze and also became silent. The two of you smiled and began the descent down the stairwell. You looked over to the opposite side as your two best friends to where Draco stood. ‘He does clean up nice', you thought. Making eye contact, he stops mid-sentence with Crabbe and Goyle. You notice his Adam's apple bob up and down, indicating a hard swallow. Hesitantly, you separated from Hermione and approached the Slytherin boys. “What in the bloody hell is she doing?” you heard Ron ask the two other friends. Hermione just patted his shoulder before locking arms with Viktor, also surprising Harry and Ron. Draco let his eyes run up and down your figure, taking you in. “(Y/N) ... you look…wow…” Draco said, stumbling over his words. Did Draco Malfoy just compliment you? Chuckling, you looked down at you dress. “Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself.” He stepped closer, putting an arm out for you to grab, “Shall we?” As you picked up you dress with one hand, you looped the other through Draco’s as he led you into the beautifully lit Great Hall. Crabbe and Goyle stood amazed, glancing between each other and the two of you confused. Yes, they were part of the dare, but they didn’t think it would play out like this.
While Draco isn’t a dancer, you two did manage to slow dance to a few songs. Draco was a true gentleman when placing his hand on your side and holding your hand with the other. This surprised you, knowing the reputation his family has for being so cold. “I really did mean what I said, (Y/N). You look amazing.” He whispered in your ear. Feeling the coolness of his minty breath sent chills down your spine. You could not understand why; did you feel something for Draco deep down? “Thank you, Draco. So, was this truly a dare, or did you want to go with me?” He flashed a smile. “Even if it was a dare, I think it’s worked out pretty well, don’t you?” he teased.
After that day, you began to share lingering stares during classes and in passing in the halls. Soon, those lingering glances became notes passed during class, which lead to sneaking out of the common rooms late at night. The two of you had kept what you had under wraps, knowing how much would be coming your way if the school found out. All anyone knew, except Hermione, was that you two attended the Ball together, and even that was a ‘dare’. Your relationship began to fall apart during the sixth year, however. His family had pressured him to become a Death Eater, now baring the dark mark on his inner forearm. You despised it. Watching it move on his arm made you physically ill. You knew he had been put up for a ‘special mission’ from Voldemort, but he could never tell you what it was. You found out, though, after seeing Professor Dumbledore fall from the Astronomy Tower that night. Draco had ran off with his parents and other Death Eaters, not returning to finish the school term. Once the term had been completed, you joined together with your three best friends to find the remaining Horcruxes. Your parents weren’t thrilled you would not be returning for your final and seventh year, but there was a war that needed to be fought.
Draco stood near the exit of King’s Cross, wearing one of his famous all-black suits. His hair is still as striking blonde as you remembered. Facial features the same, just a little more aged. A woman stood slightly behind them. You recognized her as Astoria Greengrass, a fellow Slytherin. You remembered her from school, and she always stayed a little too close to Draco for your liking. Did they have a child the same age as one of your boys? “C’mon, love, let’s get Lily home,” Harry said, placing his hand in the small of your back and kissing your temple again. You loved it when he did that. Harry was always so caring and affectionate towards you, even after all these years. Draco watched the interaction, making you wonder if he even knew you ended up with Harry. Surely, he knew.
Ginny had tried to run towards Harry during that final battle in the courtyard as he dangled from Hagrid’s arms. Voldemort cast a spell her way, knocking her back and causing her head to hit a rock. She was carried inside the castle so Madam Pomfrey could help. She tried everything, but Ginny was gone. It took a long time for Harry to mourn and return to normal. He truly loved her. You suffered as well, not in the same extreme as Harry, but still in a poor mental state. You ignored Draco’s letters. Draco and his mother had managed to avoid Azkaban; however, his father wasn’t so lucky and was sentenced again. Eventually, Draco’s owls became more and more spaced out until they stopped coming altogether. Your father offered to burn his letters, as you refused even to open them. You decided not to, instead shoving them in a bin hidden from sight. Hermione and Ron became tired of seeing their two other best friends so depressed and decided to invite yourself and Harry to dinner one night. Once all together, it was as if nothing had changed and no time had elapsed. Ron and Hermione were very happy and very much in love, leaving yourself and Harry out. The two of you vowed to keep in touch better, as you both worked at the Ministry together, different departments, but still. You two shared your hardships and struggles, finding comfort in one another. One thing leads to another, and now you sit holding his hand with three beautiful children.
The following morning was bizarre. Not hearing the bickering of the boys was strange. The house felt empty and quiet, which is something that you had not had in ages. You would now have to practice only making breakfast for three instead of five. After Lily was dropped off at your parents for the day, the two of you headed to the Ministry to start your workday. Harry could tell you were still thrown off by the events from the previous day. “I’m fine, really.” You said, squeezing his hand. “I have a hard time believing you, (Y/N). He can’t hurt you now. It’s been ages.” He said, trying to reassure you. “I know, just seeing him brought back so much.” “It’ll be alright, love. All of that is in the past. You’ve got me now, know it?” Harry leaned in and pecked your lips. “Come get me if you need me today, okay?” Harry said, walking in a different direction than you were. Harry worked as an Auror, and you worked in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures along with Hermione.
Walking into your office, you said hello to your receptionist. “Mrs. Potter, your first appointment is already in your office.” She stated bubbly. You looked at her puzzled. “I thought my first meeting was much later?” you questioned. She looked as confused as you. Taking a deep sign, you walked into your office and was in disbelief at what stood by the window. Draco. How did he find me? He turned to face me as soon as he heard my bag hit the floor. “Draco, you need to leave.” You said as firmly as you could. All you wanted to do was scream for Harry, but his department was on the complete opposite side of the Ministry from you. “Don’t.” Draco spat. “I needed to speak with you.” He continued. “And I need you to leave before I call someone.” He laughed. “Oh, is your Potter going to come to save you? He’s already taken you away from me once, and I won’t let him do it again.” He said before reaching into his suit pocket. You stood there, not knowing what he was planning to do. Draco pulls out what looks to be like a Time-Turner. Hermione used one during our third year to ensure she was able to take all of her classes. It was said all of those devices in existence were destroyed. How did Draco get his slimy hands on one? “How-how did you...” you trailed off, your mind racing as to what his plan was. “A gift from my father. The only one left. You know how this works, right (Y/N)?” he said, stepping closer to you. “Draco…” you started, but before you could push him away, the extended chain was draped around your neck along with Draco’s. His fingers moved the locket quickly before you could think or do anything.

Little Talks (1)
Can I request a Cedric's fic with a female Gryffindor? I wish that it could be a light, soft conversations that the OC talk with Harry&Hermione about their anxious and fear of letting everyone know they're in a together relationship. After that, Ron and Ginny being angry of while the Weasleys Twin show support, Ginny tried to pour a soup on Hermione but hurt the OC in the end. Cedric somehow saw and got angry so he rushed into them, with the OC said in the end: "Thank you, pretty boy Diggory. "
A/N (It’s a bit confusing the requests so if I didn’t write what you’d like you can send me another one but for sure I can do this, seems very cute) And I am so sorry this to so long

Kasey walked into the great hall, looking around for just a moment then spotting her boyfriend, private relationship boyfriend sitting at the Hufflepuff table.
“Good Morning pretty boy,” Kasey smiled, sitting across from the boy who sat alone. “What’s got you all in a slump?”
Cedric looked up from his food infront of him, smiling slightly. “Just been thinking love, how’s class been?” He picked up his fork, tossing hardly ontop of his food, playing around.
“Cedric whats wrong,” Kasey now had a sense of worry, leaning over and grabbing his hand. “I’m your girlfriend, talk to me,”
“That’s just it,” Cedric huffed looking up at Kasey. “I want everyone to know your my girlfriend, I wanna go into the tournaments with you wearing my jumpers, and cheering for me, I want to show you off, for everyone to know your mine,” Cedric grabbed onto Kaseys hand and smiled up at her.
Kasey wanted the same thing, but was worried about what her friends would think. especially Harry and Hermione. “Let me talk to Hermione and Harry, i’ll tell them first, i’m sure they’ll be all right, I think it was time overdue anyway,” Kasey leaned over, planting a firm kiss on Cedrics lips, their first kiss they shared in public.
“I think that would be a good idea,” Cedric's hand gravitated to Kaseys tie before she could pull back. “I’ll show you off, make sure everyone knows your mine, don’t worry love,” He placed another kiss on her lips and let her go.
Kasey's whole stomach bloated with butterflies, she loved with Cedric showed affection, especially teasing in public, it would be better now that their relationship would be in the open.
“I’ll find you later tonight for Super, gonna go find Harry and Hermione,” Kasey got up from her seat, giving Cedric a small smile then leaving the great hall, forgetting she wanted food since she hadn’t ate anything all day.
“Hey what's your got your ponytail in a rut?” Fred chuckled picking Kasey up and tossing him on her shoulders.
“Good afternoon Kasey Lacey,” George said with a smile, messing up Kaseys perfect ponytail.
“I’m dating someone, just seeking approval,” Kasey gladly said, excited to let everyone know.
“And who might this lucky chap be, you know we’ll beat him up if he hurts our best friend,” Fred chuckled ducking himself as they walked through the Gryffindor doorway.
“Put Kasey down before you bloody well drop her again,” Ron Weasley shook his head, already knowing the twins had dropped Kasey once, resulting in her breaking her arm.
Fred bend down, dropping Kasey on the couch, between Harry and Hermione, the people she was just looking for.
“Kasye dating someone!” George shouted, pulling Freds shirt then running to their room, leaving Kasey in the common room, with all her friends looking at her.
“Oh who’s the lucky chap?” Ginny chuckled leaning back against her chair, crossing her legs and getting interested in the conversation.
Kasey smiled looking around the room, she felt really nervous but took a deep breath. “Cedric, we’ve been dating for about a month, and before you say anything,” Her hands went up in the air. “I know he’s a hufflepuff, and I know he’s on the other team, and and,” Kasey stopped herself and looked at all her friends.
Hermione was the first one to do anything, a smile appearing on her face. “Kasey I love it,” She jumped up, wrapping her best friend into a hug.
“It doesn’t matter that he’s my competition, your happy with him aren’t you?” Harry asked as Hermione let go of Kasey both girls lowly laughing.
“I’m very much happy with Cedric, and I think I might love him,” Kasey smiled, loving that her friends approved of Cedric and her.
“We’re going to head down to supper, come on Ron,” Ginny grabbed Rons collar, dragging him out of the common room, everyone was silent and confused for a moment but the twins came bouncing down.
“We’ll have to have a talk with this Cedric you know,” George chuckled bouncing onto the couch, landing almost on top of Kasey.
“Make sure he doesn’t hurt our best friend,” Fred moved Hermione over, knuging at Kasey making her smile.
“Don’t you two be embarrassing,” Kasey bursted out laughing leaning her head on George shoulder. “You all know Cedric is a good guy, come on, lets join Ron and Ginny,” Kasey helped herself up, followed by the twins, the Hermione and Harry.
“Cedric and you are cute, I had my suspicions,” Harry nudging Kasey as they walked down the stairs making her smiles.
“Of course it was obvious,” Hermione pipped in. “Your reaction when he was called during the choosing of the champions, and then during the first task, we just waited and watched,” Hermione tossed her arm over Kasey making her smile.
“Oh shut it,” Kasey bursted out into laughter walking down the stairs with her friends, her best friends. “So, how bout a double date, Fred, you and Angela down?”
Fred's face turned a light shade of pink, making George elbow him. “For sure, yeah i’ll talk to the gal,” He rubbed the back of his neck as the five approaches the great hall.
Cedric and Kasey's eye met, she gave him a slight wink then walked over to the Gryffindors table, Ginny and Ron eating together.
“Hey, whats the rush out for?” Harry asked sitting beside Ginny, then looking at Ron who looked more uncomfortable then ever.
“Nothing,” The pair mumbled digging into the food infront of them.
Hermione and Kasey sat down beside each other, tossing food onto their plates then turning to each other.
“So tell me, is he a good kisser?” Hermione asked causing Kasey to burst into laughter, playfully hitting Hermione's shoulder.
“Yeah well of course he is,” Kasey imagered her face to be a deep red, she turned to look over at Cedric who was already looking at Kasey.
“You guys really are cute, and I hope it works out, you both deserve the best,” Hermione voice was now calm, her hand placed on Kaseys shoulder.
She turned her attention back to Hermione, but not for long as she saw a steaming bowl floating in the air, she watched for a couple seconds, she couldn’t tell who was doing it, the bowl stopped over Hermione's head.
Not a second to spare Kasey pushed Hermione as hard as she could, but felt her skin burning up, she fell backwards on the floor.
“Oh Merlin,” Ginny mumbled standing up, her face was now a pale white colour, looking at Kasey who laid on the floor, covered in hot soup and Hermione who looked confused.
“KASEY!” Cedric cried out, he was by Kaseys side in a second, he looked down at her but she still kept a smile.
“Hermione, you’ve been making enemies huh,” Kasey let out a chuckle looking over at Hermione who grabbed her hand.
“Mental, why would you do that,” Hermione asked shaking her head, she curled a smile helping Cedric and Kasey up.
“Well, just to get whoever it was the dissatisfaction,” Kasey looked down at herself, her skin burnt and soup slime was all over her.
“Are you okay, you should go see Madam Pomfrey, i’ll take you,” Cedric offered, his hands were in Kaseys, not letting her go.
“Yeah, right,” Kasey turned to Cedric, looking at his worried face. “Thank you, pretty boy Diggory,” She leaned forward, planting a light kiss on Cedrics cheek.

September 2005
Lexie O’Brien and Drake Walker’s friendship started when they were 10 years old and she had challenged him and his friends to a soccer game. Lexie was fed up. The boys never wanted to play with her or her girlfriends, but they hogged the school’s soccer field every afternoon. She decided to fix it with a simple bet. If the girls won, the coach would have to create mixed teams.
At the end of the match, they were tied 4-4, but the coach was impressed by them and had accepted her proposition.
That afternoon, Drake found himself waiting with her for their parents to pick them up. Lexie sat with her chin resting on her knees, her orange backpack next to her. Drake noticed that it had a badge of Barcelona’s soccer team.
“Barcelona?” He asked, curious.
Lexie beamed at him. “Best team ever!”
“The best team ever is Liverpool,” he said, smugly.
She stood up excited. “What are you talking about?  Barcelona has Ronaldinho!” She took the ball and tried to dribble, unsuccessfully. “One day, I’ll dribble like him,” she declared in a dreamy voice.
He looked at her stupefied. “You’re really intense.”
“That’s what my mom says.” She shrugged.
“Why isn’t she here?”
“She’s working. My abuelita has a Mexican restaurant. Sometimes they’re too busy so she’s late. And your mom?”
Drake lowered his eyes, embarrassed. “She’s not in Cordonia. I live with my dad.” And he’s always late.
She nodded empathetically; adults were a mystery to her. She kneeled down and put her hand over his shoulder. “My dad left too.”
Drake didn’t reply. He hated to talk about his family. After a silent moment, Lexie kicked a stone, angrily. They had been waiting for more than 30 minutes.
She suddenly had an idea, she hoped he’d be onboard, but she wasn’t sure. Drake wasn’t the friendliest boy she had met. “Do you live far from here?”
Drake frowned, she sure was nosey. “Like fifteen minutes. Why?”
“Me too! In Valtoria Avenue. We can walk together.”
Drake was angry with his dad for being late. And leaving would teach him a lesson. But he didn’t want to go with her. She was only a girl.
“I’ll go, but you stay here. Your mom will come soon.” He threw his bag over his shoulder and started walking.
She ran and stood in front of him her hands on her hips. “Hey! It was my idea. I want to come too.”
He rolled his eyes, annoyed. “Whatever, just don’t get ran over by a car or something.”
“I know how to cross the street, smarty-pants,” she sassed, annoying him even more.
They walked silently for ten minutes when her stomach growled. “I think I’m hungry,” she admitted as she placed her hands on her belly.
“Yeh, I’m hungry too.”
“Look, Ben and Jerry’s!” She pipped pointing to their left.
He hesitated for a minute; His dad would be furious if he didn’t come home fast. But she seemed really hungry, and he could bet his entire collection of Pokémon cards that she was going to nag him all the way back to their houses, if she didn’t eat something. He had his allowance money in his pocket, so he decided to go for the ice cream.
They chatted all the way back, mostly about Harry Potter. Both of them liked the books more than the movies but they were both waiting the release of the ‘The Goblet of Fire’ frantically.
Her heart stopped when she saw a police car in front of her house. “My mom called the police. She’s going to kill me.”
Drake felt a knot in the pit of his stomach. “That’s my dad’s car, he’s a policeman.”
She widened her eyes. “Wow! That’s cool!”
“Not as much as you think, he’s never there,” he said with a small voice.
Soon, they saw a fuming Jackson and a furious Elena coming out of the house.
“Alexis! What were you thinking?” Elena was enraged but she hugged her daughter tightly. “What you did is so dangerous, Lexie.”
Lexie blushed furiously; she didn’t want to be scolded in front of Drake. “I’m not a little girl, mom.”
“Yes, you are, mija (my daughter). We’ll talk later. Now, go inside, I have to talk Mr. Walker.”, she said pointing her finger to the house
Lexie was about to protest, but her mother was the only human on earth that scared her. She entered the house obediently.
Jackson turned to his son. “You know how irresponsible this was, Drake?”
Drake refused to be reprimanded, it was his father’s fault. “You were late, dad. Again.”
Jackson knew his son was right, since Bianca had left with Savannah, he juggled to maintain a balance between his work and his fatherly duties. And he had to admit that he wasn’t doing a great job.
“That’s not an excuse, Drake. You can’t leave like that.”
Drake wanted to reply, but Jackson interrupted him, raising his hand. “No excuses. Don't you ever do that again. Understood?”
His son nodded and got in the car.
Jackson turned to Elena. “Is everything okay now, Ms. O’Brien?”
“Everything is fine now, thanks for coming with me to the house. I thought I was going to die when I didn’t see her at the school.” She nodded towards the car where Drake was waiting. “I bet he’s hungry. Poor little thing. You can eat with us. I brought tacos dorados from the restaurant. I don’t like to brag but they’re the best in the city” Without giving Jackson time to think, she went to the car and opened the door. “Come on, kid. Let’s go eat.”
Jackson considered his options. He could serve his son a frozen pizza and a bag of salad, or he could let him eat something cooked for once. “Thank you, Elena.”
Elena took Drake to Alexis’s room where she was still brooding. Her face lit up when she saw him. “Drake! I thought you left!”
“Your mom invited us to diner. Well, she actually didn’t give my dad a choice.” He grinned. “It was pretty cool. Usually, no one tells him what to do”
Lexie smiled, proudly. “That’s my mom. She’s very bossy.”
Drake looked around. Her room was chaotic. His dad complained a lot about his mess, but it was nothing compared to this.
He had expected a room like Savannah’s but, it actually was more similar to his own. She had soccer posters everywhere, of the wrong team, but still. She obviously hadn’t lied about loving Harry Potter, she had Hermione Granger’s and Ron Weasley’s pictures all over the walls.
“I thought you were a Harry’s kinda girl, Lex.”
No one had called her Lex before, but she liked it. “I like Harry, but my fave is Hermione. She’s so cool!”
He teased her, “the best friend? You do know that Harry is the main character, right?”
She shrugged. “I like Harry, but I prefer Ron and Hermione. He’s a good friend and she’s the smartest witch. Plus, I bet they’re in love.”
Drake grimaced before speaking. “The coolest is Sirius Black.”
She beamed at him as she pointed to the wall. There was a framed quote:
‘We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.’ Sirius Black.
Drake made the desk’s chair spin as he declared, “You’re cool for a girl.”
She squinted at him. “What does that mean?”
“I don’t know, you don’t like Barbies and you play soccer.” He shrugged.
She opened a trunk in the corner of her room. “I do like Barbies. A lot. I just like soccer too. My mom says there’s no girl’s and boy’s stuff. Just stuff”
He sat on the floor, crossing his legs. “My dad wouldn’t agree with that.”
She took out a game of Monopoly. “Is this guy enough for your dad? I have Battleship too,” she said, teasingly.
Drake shook his head; she was a huge pain in the ass, but he kind of liked her. “Monopoly is okay.”
From that day on, Drake and Jackson would often have dinner in the O’Brien’s house. Elena didn’t mind watching Drake when Jackson had a late shift, so the boy spent a lot of afternoons in their restaurant playing and doing homework with Lexie. Jackson took them camping as often as he could. The three of them loved stargazing, so Jackson built with them a homemade telescope to teach them everything he knew about the stars and the constellations. Elena took them to all the Harry Potter movies and book signings. They both loved the sea so one of their parents took them to the beach every weekend. They discovered a hidden cove and named it their place. They used to go there to share their secrets or build forts and sandcastles.
When they were at school, they had other friends as well, but no matter how much Olivia or Liam teased them or how often and fiercely they fought each other, their friendship grew older with them.

Here at Rover, it’s fair to say we’re obsessed with pet names. Every year we release data on the top dog names around the country, and this year, we also wanted to see the name rankings for cats. Calico cats are especially unique with interesting fur patterns and color variations, and they deserve a name to reflect that! Fred Weasley Fic. Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last month of school flew by for Eva, and, just as Fred predicted, she passed her OWLs perfectly. Angelina did end up clinging to the twins the last few weeks of school (which annoyed Eva to no end, of course) however now it was summer, and it would be just the three of them again. Their summer was filled with adventure, as usual. There was swimming, amateur Quidditch matches in the yard (Ginny has gotten surprisingly good) outdoor fires and get togethers with Bill and Charlie. Nearing the end of summer, Ron pipped up that he hasn’t heard from Harry yet, and was getting worried. Arthur had just gotten tickets to the big Quidditch match coming up and everyone wanted Harry and Hermione to join. So Arthur did the only thing he thought reasonable: he would send a letter to Petunia and Dursley the muggle way. When Arthur asked Eva how this was to be done, (as she has lived like a muggle the first 11 years of her life) all she said was “You’ll need a few stamps from the Muggle post office.”
Of course, Eva never thought to specify that he just might need one or two, and when she came down early that morning for breakfast she was taken aback to see a letter on the table completely covered in stamps.
“Do you think it’s enough?” Arthur asked eagerly. Eva looked at the heavily stamped letter in astonishment and only managed a nod. She knew he was proud of it and didn’t want to spoil it. Besides, it would get to the Muggles anyways.
Hermione arrived later that afternoon and Fred, George, Arthur and Ron all left to collect Harry while Eva stayed behind with the girls and the two older Weasleys, helping Mrs. Weasley make a meat pie.
Just as they were going in the oven, the twins and Ron returned with Harry soon behind them. Fred hurried over to Harry, who was all covered in soot. “Did he eat it?”
“Yes,” said a bashful Harry. “What was that?”
Eva’s ears perked up and she slipped away from the kitchen and headed towards the boys. “What was what?”
‘Ton-Tongue Toffee,’ said Fred brightly. ‘George and I invented them, we’ve been looking for someone to test them on all summer…’
Before any of them could say anything else, there was a faint popping noise, and Mr Weasley appeared out of thin air at George’s shoulder.
“That wasn’t funny, Fred!” Arthur barked so loud behind George that he jumped. “You could have seriously harmed him!”
This intrigued Eva even more. “Harm who? What happened?”
Arthur turned to her with an exaaperated sigh. “He gave that muggle boy a candy that made his tongue swell -“ he turned back to the twins. “-four foot long before his parents let me shrink it!”
“We didn’t give it to him on purpose!” Argued George.
“We dropped it.” Concluded Fred, which Eva could tell was a giant lie.
Suddenly, Mrs. Weasley entered the house again with Ginny and Hermione. “What’s all the yelling?”
Eva looked over between the twins and their mother. She knew they were in trouble now, and she was thankful not to have been involved this time.
“I swear if it’s another one of your joke shop doings I’ll ground you for the rest of your lives!” Molly shrieked. Hermione, Ron, Harry and Ginny all slipped off.
Just as Eva grief to join them, Molly was quick to stop her. “You stay right here, young lady! I know you must have had a hand in this somehow.”
Eva scowled. She wasn’t there when they fed that muggle the candy, but Molly was right...she did help them with the recipe and side affects.
Bill exchanged a smirk with her as she joined the twins for a lecture. Their leftover joke sweets that were stashed away in their pockets were confiscated, and they were threatened with no more Quidditch for next term if they were caught again. This didn’t have much of an affect of Eva, considering she didn’t play. But the twins were peeved, nonetheless and all three of them were sent to grab potatoes from the garden.
“I can’t believe you were stupid enough to give it to him infront of your dad.” Eva scolded as they made their way to the vegetable garden. The setting sun turned the sky into a pinkish gold which made Eva feel at ease, despite bring pissed at the twins.
“Um excuse me? Were you there? No. So you don’t know what happened.” said George, raising an eyebrow in offence.
“All I know is,” Eva knelt down into the dirt, getting her bare knees dirty. “Is that you got caught. Your mum already burned our list of products! You’d better be sneakier than that if you really want to open the joke shop.”
Fred ripped a potato from the ground harsher than he needed to. “Yeah? Well you don’t want us to open the joke shop anyways, so what does it matter?”
Eva knew he was just angry and didn’t mean it, but that didn’t stop her blood from rising into her cheeks. She picked up her potato basket and briskly walked over around to the other side of the garden, away from the twins. They didn’t fight too often, and when there was ever a conflict it was only ever light bickering. She didn’t care what they had to say. They could go off all on their own and open up their stupid joke shop without her. Just like how they tested the taffy on the muggle without her.
Suddenly she felt a sharp jab in her chest. It was envy again, prodding at her. Exclusion tagged along with it.
Eva knew eventually they would have to all go their separate ways. They couldn’t be the three musketeers forever. One day she would grow up, meet someone and get married while they ran their joke shop. If it ever happens. Just like regular families, they would learn to only really see each other at Christmas and Halloween. It’s what Bill and Charlie did. Moved out all on their own, leaving their families behind.
But Fred and George would always have each other. Not only were they brothers, they were twins. They couldn’t break their bond even if they tried. And what did Eva have? Biologically, she was alone.
“Brood any longer and a storm cloud will appear over your head.”
Eva jumped in surprise at Bill’s sudden booming voice above her. When she looked away from him irritably he plopped himself down beside her, picking out some carrots.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to be mad at them forever?”
Eva sighed as she threw some potatoes in the basket. “You don’t understand, Bill.”
Bill looked at her in the eye and raised a brow. “What don’t I understand?”
“It’s this stupid joke shop they’re planning to do.” She vegan to explain. “What am I supposed to do with myself when they leave me behind? I like pranks, sure...but I can’t run a joke shop. Not a proper one, anyways. It’s not fair. I’ll probably end up like Percy. Alone forever.”
Bill couldn’t help the laugh that ripped out of him and he clapped her on the back. “Oh, Evie.” He shook his head with a wide smile. “Who ever said you’ll be alone forever? And so what if you want no part of the joke shop? You’ll do something of your own.”
Eva glanced over towards the twins who were 20 ft away from her, throwing a large potato around. “But what if they’re perfectly fine without me?”
Bill followed her gaze and the two of them watched as George tripped over Fred’s foot as he ran, face planting on the ground.
It was then Bill said. “Fine? Without you? Never. Look at those two goof balls. Where would they be without you?”
Eva smiled slightly at the comment. She supposed he was right. The two of them got up off the ground and headed towards the house again, their basket filled to the brim with veggies.
An hour later when supper was finished cooking and everyone moved outside to eat, it was George who approached Eva first, with a sheepish smile on his face. “Come sit with us?”
Eva gladly plopped herself in between the twins and Fred, as an apology from his end, filled up her plate and goblet for her. It was all that was needed before the three of them were back to normal again, flinging peas towards Percy’s head whenever he talked about his work.
As the sky grew dark, everyone headed inside and Molly urged everyone to sleep at a decent hour. “You seven will be waking up early tomorrow in order to get to the portkey!” She called out. Before Eva disappeared into her and Ginny’s shared room Fred rugged on her sleeve twice, code for: meet us in half an hour.
The house was laid out so that Eva could easily crawl out of her bedroom window and crawl along the roof over to Fred and George’s window. It was something they liked to do whenever they wanted to hang out past bedtime. (Without Molly knowing of course, heaven forbid a girl sleepover in their bedroom, even if it was just Eva)
Ginny rolled her eyes at Eva as they got Hermione’s sleeping bag setup. “You three already pissed mum off enough for one day, don’t you think?” She called as Eva began climbing out their window. Eva winked at Ginny with a hush and made her way over. Fred greeted her at the window straight away, taking her swiftly into his arms as he helped carry her in. Eva giggled and the three of them hopped into the two beds they pushed together. Eva wrapped herself up in the blankets and settled between them happily. Fred fluffed her pillow.
“I’m sorry about what I said earlier, about - about you not wanting us to open the store.” Freds didn’t voice came from the darkness beside her, and Eva sat up slightly in surprise. Typically the twins didn’t need to apologize when things were already resolved. And rarely did they ever get into a fight, so rarely there needed to even be an apology. Eva realized there was silence between them now and she said “Oh.” Just as George said. “We felt really bad.”
“Don’t feel bad,” Eva said laying back down. “It was a stupid fight.”
Silence again. In the darkness Eva could barely make out the outline of Fred’s face, which was facing hers. George had began to say something else, but Eva didn’t hear him, because suddenly she fell into a deep slumber.

“DANI ON DANI: THE MANY FACES OF ME”
                                           HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORL!!! ( @wisteriawrites )
OKAY, so before I get into the rest of my birthday message, let me explain the point of these graphics, because I swear I didn’t just make you basic af character posters for your faves.
So, last year, I made loads of “Dani” graphics which, obviously, I was going to try to do again since it is your day. But there’s only so many times I can recycle your aesthetic and write “INFP Type 4″ on everything soooo, I figured I would explore one of your favorite things: Writing! Characters! Obviously, the characters I chose for this are ones you love and know much better than I do, but I also thought they were a great representation of both your own, personal aesthetic and traits you gravitate toward in them that I see and love in you. So! Without further ado, here they are:
DAPHNE BLAKE: Because you’re the engine that makes this whole team run. LOL, okay, that’s me milking it, we don’t really have a “team” for this to work (watch Mars come at me for saying that lmao), but I know you’re an integral part of my life. But I think the part of you that is reminiscent of Daphne is the way you fight for what you want – and to be heard. You’re both stubborn and tenacious and can sometimes struggle with self-doubt, I think, when others overlook you, but you’re stronger than people might think you are. You both also never lose your eye for beauty (both aesthetically and in others!) and love for dreaming. Honestly, I don’t even know canon Daphne that well, so I might be talking out of my ass, but that’s what I see and love in you and your Daph.
BETTY COOPER: Because you both fight to be kind in a world that is not. I know Betty is sort of your “ideal” and you always strive to be like her, but I think that’s exactly why you are! Sure, sometimes you steal people’s boyfriends on facebook (kidding!), but you make a concentrated effort to be aware of others’ feelings, to validate them and to nurture them when you feel you can make a difference. I know sometimes it’s gotten you into trouble – you’ve focused so much on validating others in situations where they’ve misconstrued what you mean – but it comes from a place of wanting to do good, and that is very Betty Cooper of you (comic book Betty though, omg, not this “serial killer gene” wackjob). Also, you both are baking queens, what more is there to say.
RARITY: Because you both are incredibly fashion forward – and incredibly generous. Okay, sure, on the surface, Rarity might seem a little...frivolous? Image-obsessed? You both know how to serve some killer looks and know your way around any store, that’s for sure! But, Rarity’s main virtue is her generosity, and that is honest to goodness one of the traits I admire in you the most. You give of yourself so freely, both with your heart – and that is a beautiful trait, don’t learn to despise it – and gifts as well. You know you’re great at presents, though, and I love that you and Miss Rarity are so full of love that you enjoy giving your time and resources to make others happy. Friendship really is magic <3
HERMIONE GRANGER: Because you always stand up for what you believe in. You both really do. It’s why I – maybe incorrectly, who knows – suggested you might be a Gryffindor. Both you and Hermione have a firm sense of right and wrong and a set of ideals that you’re not willing to compromise on. I do think you’re open-minded enough, though, that you wouldn’t mutilate a girl if given the chance out of righteous anger, but that’s an improvement, if you ask me! You both are also total nerds and the first person to shoot up a hand in class to answer a question and place an apple on your teacher’s desk. Like I said: nerds.
Now that that’s out of the way, I have to close by expressing again how much I love you. This year has been both weird, stressful and exciting, and you’ve been there the whole time. Literally, last month! I don’t know about you, but for me, it was kind of crazy how normal it was getting to spend time together in person? Because you’re just the same. Just as funny. Just as bold. Just as thoughtful. Honestly, it speaks to your character as a person and a friend with how patient you were with me while I was sleep deprived half the time and having panic attacks over driving the other half. But you were always there to crack jokes or speak up for me at times when it didn’t feel like I had a voice, and I valued that so much. You know I do.
You really are such a valuable, unique, and inventive person, and I know it’s only a matter of time before you achieve big things. I mean, look at what all you’ve accomplished in one semester! It would be a fluff post to go into how much everyone (except for that book throwing weirdo) loves you, how you’re like getting paid to do spoken word poetry and meeting your hero(es), how you started your own pole club, how your teachers are helping you set a plan so you can become a full-time New Yorker. You inspire me to go after what I want. To become a better writer. To be a better friend. I’m so glad I always have my gorl there to sniff songs with me and talk nonsense like we’re on some talk show that no one would watch. I never really knew I needed someone to do interpretive dance while I sing Disney songs, but you’ve got me covered on that, too. I can’t wait for our next meet up and more, crazy shenanigans. Hopefully by Thanksgiving we’ll get to play more deception board games and find out why there was fire underwater. There’s probably more to say, but I need material for the next 50 years so I gotta chill.
I love you and like you and sniff you.
xoxo,
YOUR GORL
P.S. I’m sorry Pip jumped on you so much.

Drarry - Anything for Harry
Ron and Draco have a heart-to-heart while playing a game of chess because well, they will do Anything for Harry
Draco was currently sat on a sofa, his feet tucked under Harry with the roaring fire keeping them warm. He was reading a book on god knows what, he couldn’t concentrate when his boyfriend had a look on his face that made his stomach twirl with excitement. His transfiguration homework was the current source of the problem. Harry was looking at it with his eyebrows pierced in confusion and his tongue was poking out. The warm tone of Orange was being projected onto his face from the flickering flames. Draco could only just stop himself from drooling. Feeling eyes piercing into him, Harry looked up and smiled catching Draco staring at him. His cheeks burned with embarrassment at being caught staring.
Before Harry could mock him about it the door opened to the year 8 common room and in came Ron and Hermione, hand in hand.
“I can’t believe you still haven’t finished the essay for Slughorn, It’s due in 2 days Ron”
“That’s why I’m dating you, you’ll help me?”
Ron looked at his girlfriend hopefully. Hermione rolled her eyes and sat on the opposite sofa to Harry and Draco. Ron wasn’t far behind. Harry put his homework down and turned his attention to his two friends. One of his hands grasps Draco knee for comfort.
At the beginning of 8th-year Draco decided to make his peace. He said sorry to everyone that would listen. For a few weeks, students would walk past him, taking no notice. Draco liked that. He liked the lack of attention. But that didn’t stop the wandering eyes of Harry Potter. Every room he was in his eyes always seemed to focus on a certain blonde who was far too tall to be hunched over like that.
It wasn’t until a cold and wet October day had most of the students inside. Draco took his regular seat in the library, hidden away at the back, right next to the window that faced the Quidditch fields so he could look at the practicing students and remember what it felt to play. It was close to a fireplace so when it turned colder he could still come hide out there. He was reading ‘Advanced Rune Translation’ for his next Ancient runes lesson when the chair opposite him was pulled out and a figure sat there. Draco looked up at the messy haired boy. He quickly glanced around to see the limited people around staring.
“Potter?!” He hissed. He received a quirked eyebrow back.
“What are you doing?”
“Studying” Potter replied back with a shrug.
Draco continued to stare until he decided that Potter wasn’t going anywhere and he didn’t have anywhere else to go. He shook his head and returned to the book in his hand. For the next couple of weeks, their silent revision sessions continued. When school returned after half term and the weather turned colder, if that was possible, more people decide to spend there time in the library. Meaning more eyes to stare at the weird pairing. Soon nods of acknowledgement in the hallways turned into shy smiles, then “Hello’s”. By the beginning of December, their revisions sessions had Draco standing a little taller. Hermione had joined them by then, sometimes accompanied by Ron.
They were sat playing spin the bottle in their annual Friday night parties when it happened. Potters spin landed on Draco. His emerald eyes pierced into him, making his breath catch in his throat. The whistles and cheering on his friends were muffled by the proximity of Potters face to his. He smelt like peppermint and rain. Everything went silent when their lips touched. Blaise’s commentary, Ron exclaiming of “Harry!” and the union of Dean and Ginny’s “finally!” couldn’t be heard. In that moment it was only him and Harry. The slight taste of Firewisky danced along his tongue as his hand found Harry’s hair while Harry clung to his shirt like his life depended on it. When they pulled away, Draco’s once dull grey eyes were full of hope, and as Harry smiled at him, he knew he was screwed.
Fast forward a few weeks and here he sat. His boyfriend’s hand gripping his knee reminding him that even if no one felt Draco was worthy of Harry’s love, he did. And that’s all that mattered. Draco smiled at the small gesture and closed his book. Hermione may have forgiven him and liked Draco and Harry together but Ron did not, or so he thought. And Draco promised Harry that he will do his best to get on with his family. And he will do anything for Harry.
“Healer?” Hermione questioned. raising an eyebrow at him.
“Huh?” he didn’t know how she knew he was trying to become a healer. She nodded to the book he had just put down and Draco blushed at being caught out. It’s not that he didn’t want anyone to know, he just wanted to make sure he could get a position as a healer before he told anyone. he picked up ‘The Healer’s Helpmate’ and shoved it by the side of him.
“Er, I guess so” he smiled awkwardly at her.
“I think you’ll make a great one Draco, do you know what department you want to go into?”
“I’m not sure yet, I quite like the idea of making medicine but that is if I actually get a position, to begin with”
“I’m sure you will mate” Ron pipped in which surprised Draco as he was pretty sure Ron has never complimented him. “Thanks”, once again the awkward tension surrounded them. Draco was busy fiddling with his book trying to comprehend what just went on, that he didn’t see the gestures Harry was making at his red-haired friend.
“Up for a game of chess of Malfoy?” Draco looked at Harry and Hermione who were both looking at him hopefully. ‘for Harry’ he thought.
“Sure” he shrugged and plopped down the other side of the chess board, his back against the sofa leg. They played in silence for awhile, with Harry and Hermione chatting in the background.
“You’re a lot better then Harry”
“Tell me about it, last time I played him he thought I was cheating because I called checkmate in 5 minutes” this caused Ron to chuckle
“Typical”
Draco realised he must have been intensely concentrating on the game he didn’t notice Harry and Hermione had left.
“I still can’t believe you beat me, no one has before” Ron stared at him in disbelieve.
“Get used to it Weasley” Draco smirked at his opponent.
“I guess that means you sticking around then?” Draco blushed at his statement.
“Yeah, I guess so” fiddling with his fingers he thought of Harry’s face when they first kissed, he was so happy and so was Draco. The face of the man he loved.
“Good, you make him happy. Doesn’t stop you from being a git though” Draco laughed at the statement.
“You mean it?”
“Yeah, I haven’t seen Harry this happy since, well for ages now. If you can get him to smile, then I just have to get used to you. However, I may have to challenge you to a rematch. cant let a ferret beat me!”
“You’re so on weasel!” and with a shared smile, they came to an unspoken agreement. They were both there, sitting on the floor playing chess because of a boy they both loved and would do anything to make happy. Even if that means having to befriend someone you never thought you would. Draco knew he could come to like this red-haired boy sitting in front of him because he would do anything for the boy that gave him a reason to live. Draco knew his future will be a lot better with these Gryffindors in it.

You have to wind it
So this is a re-write of a very very very old fic I had up on fanfiction. net way back in the day. It’s to answer the prompt re-write a bit of old fic in your new style. Well I re-wrote the whole fic instead. so there.
I’m not going to tag it with anything really, but reblogs are fine! I don’t mind!
It’s going to be totally exclusive to this page! I will link to the original if people really really want to read it. But it goes a lot like this:
Hermione sat in the chair in the back corner of the waiting room. Just a few minutes more her mother had said. Which really meant she was going to be there for the rest of the afternoon. That was fine, she had plenty of books in her bag. And if she really needed it, Magda at the desk would give her paper to draw on. Approximately 15 minutes into reading the next appointment made their way through the door. They stopped at reception, and they found a seat.
It was a family of 4, a mum, dad and two kids. The son looked maybe her age, the daughter a little younger, both of them looked nervous. Nothing unusual. People were always nervous to see the dentist. She spared little thought to which one or how many of them were there for a cleaning, turning back to her book.
“Honestly Arthur I don’t understand why we can’t just do this at St. Mungos!” The mother pipped up once they had settled.
“I told you Molly this is for research!” Arthur, the dad, did not actually appear to be nervous at all. He actually seemed excited. Odd. “They say it hurts.” He whispered theatrically to his wife.
“Daddy!” The little girl did not like that at all. She clutched his arm as if she could keep him in the chair that way.
“I’ll be just fine, don’t worry. Muggles have been doing it this way for, I’m not sure, but a long time!” He tucked a strand of bright ginger hair behind her ear, and let her keep his arm hostage. At least until he was called back for his appointment.
“Arthur!” Molly scolded, and tipped her head in Hermione’s direction.
“She’s not even paying attention!” Now the little boy piped up.
“Arthur Weasley?” The hygienist came to fetch him and Arthur separated himself from his daughter, kissed her forehead and made his way back to the appointment rooms.
“Oh, look why don’t you two find something to play with while we wait. Not sure how long we’re going to have to wait.” Molly made a face.
This family was really quite odd, surely they had all been to the dentists before right? Hermione was only pretending to read her book at this point. She had read it before and knew the right speed to turn the pages to pretend well enough. Looking over the pages she could see the kids curiously looking through the toy box. The girl found her favorite office toy! A little clockwork mouse, she liked it’s smart little face and nicely rounded ears. The girl set the mouse on the floor and watched and waited and tipped her head.  It was alright, she seemed young.
“You have to wind it.” Hermione explained out from behind her book.
“What?” All three heads turned in her direction.
“The mouse, you have to wind it. Here.” She set down her book and slid off the chair. She turned the little key on the mouse’s back and it raced across the room.
“Oh!” The girl giggled, and set off after it.
“Can’t tell me these are toys then?” Her brother seemed much more cynical.
“Legos?”
“And?” He jammed his hand in the bucket with a crash.
Hermione found herself sighing in unison with Molly.
“Legos are good for your motor skills and developing spacial awareness.” The boy looked at her blankly, behind him Molly laughed. Deciding her children would be entertained she cautiously reached for a celebrity magazine out on the table.
The little girl who returned with the mouse was happy to play with the Legos and eventually her brother joined them. The three of them made a few archways for the mouse and would race it across the room to try and get it inside the little house they built. Molly gave up on her magazine and would cheer them on offering advice on directions.
Too soon Arthur was finished with his appointment. The frazzled looking hygienist let him back out into the waiting room.
“Daddy!” The girl was happy to see him.
“Arthur!” Molly seemed relieved he was even alive! They were quite odd. “Alright then, say goodbye to your new friend.” She nudged her kids when she was done fussing over her husband.
“Bye!” The little girl waved.
“Right then.” The boy did not give give her a proper goodbye and again his mother sighed.
“It was nice to play with you dear, I’m sure your mum or dad will be back soon.” Molly looked skeptically around the waiting room but smiled at her.
“Oh I think Mum has one more patient today.”
“You mean your mother’s the dentist! Fascinating! Could you - “ Arthur started to ask her a question.
“Come along then.” Molly had to steer him away. “As long as you’re taken care of then love!”  She called over her shoulder as she made sure Arthur got out the door first.
They were really truly very strange, but at least they were kind.

I quietly followed Regulas, him following the noise, I looked around for Kreature who was nowhere in sight.
“Lia?” I jumped turning around about to shout and scream but saw Harry Potter standing infront of me with a smile.
“Bloody hell,” I cried out running over and wrapping my arms around the tired boy, almost falling down. “You scared me half to death,” I whispered not letting him go, grateful to see him.
“What are you doing here?” He asked holding me as tight as I was holding him. “What happened at the burrow, is everyone alright?”
“Everyone is alright and fine, sent home,” I let go of Harry and looked at him with a sly smile. “I’m here on my own quest to find something, what are you doing here?” I asked curious, forgetting about Regulas for a second, still wrapped around each other.
“It was the only place I knew that was safe, Ron and Hermione are here somewhere,” Harry explained smiling at me. “I’m glad you safe,” Harry pulled me closer to him, leaning his head on my head, I smiled admiring.
“Sorry to cut whatever this is short but i’m going to bed,” Regulas mumbled tapping my shoulder then walking up the stairs, my graze followed him, almost feeling bad.
“Lia, Harry,” Ron Weasley voice said behind me, I turned around with a smile looking at Hermione and Ron who stood beside each other.
“Hello,” I waved letting go of Harry, we stood beside each other for a second, looking at the pair who stood infront of us.
“We’re looking for horcrux,” Hermione explained walking towards me, she brought me into a hug before I could protest.
“Horcrux?” I asked tilting my head as Hermione let me go. “I have to go do something, make yourselves at home, we have almost everything you could imagine here, but you guys already know that,” I smiled turning around and running up the stairs and into my room where Regulas sat on my bed.
“Hello,” Regulas mumbled not looking up from the book he was pretending to read, since it was upside down.
“Your looking for a horcrux,” I paused walking towards him. “How did you die?” I asked sitting down and taking the book from his hand.
“Sacrificed myself for Kreature, to get a horcrux, he knows where it is,” Regulas stood up and faced me. “I died to get Salazar Slytherins Locket, after the dark lord had almost killed Kreature, I knew what to do, and I died because of it,”
I was speechless, hadler ever hearing about Regulas at all, then hearing that he sacrificed himself and getting why he was so angry that it wasn’t here anymore.
“Regulas,” I whispered looking at the cold boy who stood infront of me. “I’m gonna save you I hope you know,” My arms wrapped around his cold body and his hands wrapped around my warm one, creating a equal share of warmth.
“Thank you,” Regulas whispered holding me tightly. “and i’m sorry for what I had said earlier, just that Sirius told me some things about you,”
I was surprised on what Sirius might have told other people. “I get it from him, the recklessness, but it's true, i’d rather be upset, if it means everyone around me gets to be joyful and happy,” I didn’t let go of Regulas, but stayed leaning against him enjoying the moment.
“Dance with me,” Regulas whispered slipping his hands more into my shirt. “Just let me forget about everything right now,” His hands slipping out of my shirt flicking his thumb, the sound of my record player started up, playing my favorite song, not knowing how Regulas had known that, his hands slipping back in my shirt and I leaned my head against his chest, slowly spinning around, listening to the rhythm of the song that took our souls away.
“Regulas,” I whispered not lifting my head up. “What if,” I paused gathering my thoughts. “I saved you, and we go together, looking for the locket, do it together,”
“Lia,” Regulas replied back leaning his head down. “I’m not sure if I can be saved, it’s never been heard of before, my body is at the bottom of the lake, and the Inferis, you’d die saving me,”
“I’d die saving you if that meant that i’d be able to do this forever,” I whispered not meaning to say it.
“Lia you don’t mean that,” Regulas whispered keeping his grip tight as we spun around, his fingers ran circles along my back.
“I do mean it, because there is something about you, that I haven’t felt for anyone else, I know we have just met, and your a ghost and i’m me but,” I paused feeling a single tear fall down my face.
“Kreature has some information about a horcrux,” Harry softy said behind me, I let go of Regulas and turned around, a frown on my face and my heart aching in pain. “Are you okay?”
I paused for a second, looking at Regulas then at Harry. “I’m fine, I wanna hear what Kreature has to say,” I followed Harry downstairs, whipping my tear away, I held my tears back, wanting to look more at Regulas, telling him I was just emotional and that what I said was impulsive but it was true.
“Kreature, you tell Lia what you told us,” Harry demanded walking into the kitchen, where Kreature stood on the table looking nervous. “I demand you to tell us everything you know,”
“Who is RAB?” Hermione asked shoving a book towards Kreatue, he had coward in fear, I watched nervously unsure of what was going on.
“Tell us, he talked about you, who was he?” Ron now demanded angry, he took the book from Hermione and pointed at the pages. “Your name is right there, talking about a horcrux, tell us what you know,”
“That’s me,” Regulas whispered in my ear.
“Regulas Arcturus Black,” Kreature cowered covering his head. “He was my master, Sirius Blacks brother,” His head was down. “He died,”
I looked back at Regulas who was looking at Kreature, he walked passed me and I watched the black hair boy walk infront of Kreature, his face was pure with a frown.
“What did he know about a horcrux?” Harry asked taking Rons place, standing beside Regulas who stood taller than him.
“A locket, Salazar Slytherin,” Kreatures head was still down. “He died retrieving the locket, giving it to me,”
“Where is it now?” Hermione pipped up walking through Regulas and looked at Kreature whos head was up now.
“Someone came in and took it,” A pause was made. “Kreature had seen the man, short man with a bald head, he took the locket and only the loket, Kreature is unsure why,”
“If you found the man, could you bring him here?” Harry asked, Regulas walked over to me, passed and out of the room. I looked at Harry then back at Regulas, chasing after him.
“Where are you going?” I asked following Regulas up the stairs, he didn’t answer but kept walking. “Regulas i’m sorry about what I said earlier,”
“It’s not that,” His voice fell flat as he opened a room, a library filled with books after books to the top of the roof. “We’re gonna find a way to save me, because I sure as well am not letting Kreature suffer anymore, and I have some unfinished bussiness,”
“I thought you said it wasn’t possible.” I walked into the library shutting the door behind me and watching Regulas rummage through the books.
“It’s never been heard off I said, but maybe we could discover something new tonight,”
I waved my wand in the air, a pile of books landed on the desk infront of me and I just smiled.
“Infires, theres were  we start, we learn about them, learn their weakness, learn how to kill them,” I pulled out a chair and looked at Regulas who looked at me, a small grin appeared on his face, sitting down beside me.
“Weakness is fire, I didn't have it that night, but Kreature did, I watched him, we take him with us, he can destroy the inferies, talk to him,” Regulas suggested opening a book, rummaging through the pages, we both did the same thing, not looking up.
“What are you up too?” Hermione asked walking into the library, I closed the book I was reading and looking over at Hermione amazed in the library.
“Just some simple researched, hows the rest of the conversation go?” I asked smiling slightly, my heart beating unusually fast, I stopped moving and held my breath, stopping my heart from beating almost out of my chest.
“Kreature has gone to find the man who stole the locket, this place is amazing,” Hermione walked over to the shelves pulling books down.
“I grew up in this place, I know,” I laughed looking at Regulas who held his book closer to his face. “You can borrow anything from here, i’m sure Regulas and Sirius wouldn’t mind,”
Hermione pulled a book out from the shelf and turned it around. “Thanks good, thank you, and I hope whatever you're looking for you find it,”
“Me too,” Hermione walked out and Regulas and I were left alone, searching a way to bring a dead man back to life.
“So what your saying, is your half dead, half petrified, half your soul is in you?” I asked looking at Regulas confused.
“That is exactly what i’m saying, when the Inferies take someone, your half dead, why is because your unliking to be recovered, hence why i’m a ghost because i'm not really dead,” Being a ghost is either you have unfinished bussiness, or your not really dead, Regulas being the exception.
“Well then what if we distract the inferies,” I suggested shrugging my shoulders. “Distract them, and go get you well their doing something else, but,” I paused nervously. “I’ve never put someone's soul back in their body,”
“Kreatures knows how,” Kreature said standing at the door, I shot my head over looking at Kreature who looked nervous. “Who are you talking too?”
“You know how to put someone's soul back in their body?” I stood up walking towards Kreature, he nodded his head. “We can save Master Regulas, but I need your help,”
