My account on YT was banned for some shadow reason that I'm too insignificant to know so I'm just gonna upload them here in full. I hope the quality is not too bad y_y;;
I joined the GHOST community in June 2021! Not so new no more. A lot of these stills were made before I even really had a feel for the characters/performance the musicians were giving us. Some of the jokes are very vague for this purpose hahaha.. It all works out though! I think a lot of people really enjoyed that aspect of it. :)
When I first started going through Hades 2, one realization hit me over the head...
When at the end of the first part we convince Persephone to return home with you, she tells us that she loves and would like to be a real mother for us, that she wants to make up for everything missed and let her continue with us, she raised Zagreus first of all Nyx. And then Hades and Persephone have the opportunity to have another child - a daughter. But misfortune overtakes them shortly after her birth. And Melinoë is raised by Hecate. Not Persephone again. Persephone has two children... But she didn't raise any of them. She didn't see their childhood, they didn't speak their first words to her. Persephone again didn't get the opportunity to be a mother from the very beginning... Zagreus and Melinoë grow up in the love of their adoptive mothers, they find people dear to their hearts, they become attached to the place in which they grew up, but they also grow up in hatred. Zagreus - in hatred of the walls surrounding him, of his father and with the desire to escape. Melinoë - in hatred of Kronos, for the losses that he caused and with the desire to destroy him, to return the family that she didn't even know.
They are two lost children, born to always run and fight...
I think that Percy should've been kidnapped after finding out that Sally is a few months pregnant. So when Percy gets his memory back in SoN, he remembers her telling him that he's gonna have a little baby sister or brother, and that becomes a huge point of strength for him to make it back home. He needs to survive to finally meet his little sibling. That thought carries him through Tartarus, through Annabeth acting like he's a monster and crying/begging him not to use his powers, through seeing horrific gods: Tartarus, Nyx and the edge of chaos. And then one of the final scenes of HoO is Percy literally running home, knocking on the door and Paul or Sally answers with little baby Estelle, only a few months old in their arms.
