So suffer your fate, oh, come here and give me a hug
Nobody loves you like I love you, oh, my dear
But you should've known that this was gonna end in tears
---
Yeah I went and finished it 👉👈 Silly as it sounds, it was bothering me so, so much to only have two stickers designed and not three when the third WIP was just sitting there PLS FORGIVE
Third design in the Evil Conan sticker series!! If we cross paths at COAF 2024 you might get to take one home :3 ...assuming I have them... :33 ...I finished this pretty late... :333 It is very unlikely I will get them in time GAH what was the point of me rushing this (sobbing)
Since three is a nice number for a set of things, this and the previous two stickers will be going up for sale on my shop as a bundle soon, so stay tuned!

The thing that makes me mad about finding cool quotes/references to use as titles or some such for stories is they're basically impossible to consciously look for. Sure you can just Google "cool quotes" or something but it's just gonna return stuff that everyone knows. By nature the coolest quotes always come from things that you read/watch/listen to and are drawn towards, maybe not even realizing why you're drawn to them. You can't "look for" cool quotes because by nature the coolest quotes are the ones that are cool to you personally. So ultimately the only reliable way to find profound phrases/references is to consume a lot of art and find the things that are meaningful through sheerly opening your mind and trying new things

in preparation for posting my WIP on AO3, I've been working on designing some cover art (though I'm not even sure if you can put a cover on AO3?? if not i guess the cover art will be more of a vibe lol)
here's a working summary for Your Average Fangirl:
Maeve can't help but wonder, how old is too old to be obsessed with a music artist? Last year, she won a concert ticket and meet and greet with Jace Alexander, aka jxce. Before this, she had no idea who he was or what music he wrote. Little did she know that one concert would change her life for the better.
Jace's music came to her when she was in one of her darkest times, and he pulled her out of it with the opening chorus of his title track, glowing silence. In person? He's everything she wasn't expecting. Sweet, kind, and genuinely down to earth, it didn't take much for her to be wrapped around his finger.
When he goes on tour less than a year later, she's bound and determined to make it to as many shows as possible, even if it only ends up being three. She buys two meet and greets and can't believe it when he recognizes her immediately.
Little does she know, she's all he can think about - and the only one that can pull him out of a rough place.

Oh the things I would do to have a conversation with Taylor Swift about English literature and musical theatre.

hi hi hi!!! So sorry if this is weird but im genuinely overjoyed that you liked the last unicorn so much!!!! It's one of my favorite films I love the score and the animation is SO pretty and Molly's "how DARE you" gets me Every Time. The book is very good too (more drama surrounding Haggard's downfall)!!! The story is so interesting to me and it's definitely a favorite in my family (alas, none of my friends seem to know it :[ ). Also!! https://youtu.be/M57VN_b9FRM is an incredible video about the film and its legacy!!!!!! I hope you have a good one!!!!
<3 <3 What a lovely sweet message! I look forward to watching that video, thank you! That is exactly the kind of content I love to watch!!
Molly's "how DARE you" is possibly my favorite moment in the whole book!!! <3 <3 <3 - It was the moment when I was going through the story where it like, truly slapped me in the face and went This Is Something Extremely Special And Rare Which You Have found.
Literally, the second Molly was first onscreen (I watched the movie first), I said out loud to no one, "Well, clearly this is the most interesting character in the movie, but she is an ordinary-looking middle-aged woman, and so of COURSE the narrative won't give this character her due." - AND THEN SHE JOINED THE PARTY AND BECAME A MAIN CHARACTER!!!! I was over the fucking moon!!! :D
Also, Christopher Lee as King Haggard? Be still my heart! What wonderful work!!!!

Been getting really into Morcheeba and listening to a lot of their music while I write. They are quickly ascending the ranks of my favorite bands.

My current project is inspired by my last trip to the mountains. The trees were blanketed in a thick white mist and nestled together in a palette of greens. My husband and I adventured into the forests on a whim. There was no clear path forward; each step of the trail had us cross over rocks of uneven and overgrown ground. It felt like we would get lost any moment and aimlessly wander the mountains until they swallowed us whole. We didn’t want to stop, we wanted to continue deeper, but it was getting late and we were both getting hungry.
This landscape bounced around in my mind and eventually transformed into a story about a young woman who gets lost in these same misty mountains. Will she choose to stay? Or will she obey her hunger and turn back home as we did?
I’m excited to tell Sadie’s story, and I’m very happy to have pictures and music like Avi Kaplan’s to take me right back to those mountains. The place where I could touch the clouds and the world was quiet.
