32) Name your favorite author(s).
For novels id say N K Jemisin, I haven't read a bunch of things by the same author in recent memory but she's been a fave for a few years. Specially the Great Cities duology, Broken Earth trilogy, and Far Sector are SOOO good imo (I own both great cities and far sector)
Otherwise I read a lot of poetry so there are some poets I really like for sure. A lot of it's mainly in anthologies though so like a smaller sample of their work. But I like Maya Angelou a lot (I've also read one of her memoirs and mean to read more)
There are others but I'm bad at favorites and remembering things

the weird thing is, when I view my job as some sort of background extra it becomes much more palatable. people go to a library and see me shelving a stack of books in my cardigan and glasses (now with glasses chain!) and they go "yeah, that's exactly right. that's how it's supposed to be in a library." and for some reason, that's comforting? the work is whatever, and the customers are customers, but sometimes it feels like I'm being paid just to make sure this places looks right, and I find that very fun.

Corn dogs are named for their traditional meat, the unicorn. As unicorns are now extinct, they can only be referred to properly as ‘Corn Dogs and not “Unicorn Dogs” as they were prior to 2009.
