can you write some protective Steve when they run into a bad ex of Tony's at an event? that would be amazing, I love your fics so much, thank you :D
Thank you so much for this lovely ask, Anon! I got so many great prompts for this event (and I am such a slow writer) that I decided to roll them together into a little mash-up. So this fic is inspired by four amazing asks:
- stevetony roommates who are pining after each other :) - protective Steve when they run into a bad ex of Tony's at an event - dialogue prompt: "I really want to kiss you right now." :))) - dialogue prompt - "kiss me, you fool" + stevetony? ty! :))
I really hope that the generous prompters (and all you other lovely readers) enjoy the results!!!
CW: This fic includes non-consensual drug use and an episode of attempted non-con (not in the Steve/Tony pairing). The furthest that attempt proceeds is an unwanted touch on the arm, but please be very careful with yourselves, and if that content is potentially triggering, the full fic on AO3 contains a note about which section you can skip to avoid direct representation.
Running Through My Head

“I’m going to make a fool of myself,” Steve muttered, staring at his reflection in the mirror with an expression that could only be described as morose.
Well, morose and hot, Tony allowed. But the “hot” part kind of went without saying at this point: it was the unspoken subtext of every sentence his brain generated about Steve Rogers. “This is my (hot) roommate, Steve.” “Where’s Steve? Oh, he’s at football practice (being hot).” Or, if it was a day ending in “y,” “stop looking so judgy (and hot), Rogers. I already told you: I ate dinner yesterday.”
Frankly, it was a sign of how dire Tony’s situation had become that he’d noticed “morose” before “hot” — identifying the sad little wrinkle in the middle of Steve’s forehead even before he checked out how criminally good Steve’s ass was managing to look in a pair of second-hand jeans. Being attracted to your roommate was bad enough without starting to feel anxious about whether he was dreading going to this party with you. Or maybe worrying about him a tiny bit when he took a hard hit during that afternoon’s game and came up holding his wrist awkwardly. Or maybe one time — just one time — dealing with that worry by paying a small fortune on Ebay for a set of his favorite, discontinued colored pencils so that you could pretend you accidentally found them at GoodWill.
Or okay, fine: maybe Tony was completely fucked.
It had taken a while for him to admit the extent of the damage, because it was the opposite of the problem he’d expected to have when the two of them had gotten thrown into living together senior year. Before that August, Steve and Tony hadn’t really moved in the same circles. Steve had lived in a cheap, off-campus apartment for the first three years of college with two fellow athletes, Bucky and Sam, and Tony had stayed in the dorm rooms with his best friend Rhodey — largely in an effort to choose the living situation that would irritate his father the most. But then Bucky and Sam had gone from the occasional hook-up to what Steve (not at all adorably) called “going steady,” and Rhodey had been selected for a cadet exchange program in Germany. And so just at the moment when Steve had decided to move out and give his best friends more privacy, Tony found himself down a roommate.
Initially, when Natasha — one of the few friends Tony and Steve had had in common before this year — had suggested they could help each other out, Tony had reminded her that Steve would never go for it, because Steve Rogers thought Tony Stark was an irresponsible, conceited, grade-A floozy. Tony knew this, because the first time he’d run into Steve his freshman year, Tony had been at a house party letting some truly terrible people do body shots off his stomach, and Steve had been frowning at him with a look that seemed to say, “you’re making more bad decisions in this single minute than I will make in my entire life.”
But then the worst of Tony’s bad decisions — a blonde, abusive cheater of an ex-boyfriend named Tiberius Stone — had started dropping hints about Tony giving up his room on campus and moving downtown to live near the college’s wealthier set, and suddenly Steve had started looking like a safe option.
So much for that theory, Tony thought ruefully, his stomach doing an utterly unforgivable somersault when Steve’s eyes caught his in the mirror.
“You’ll be fine, Rogers,” he said out loud, his voice draped in the off-hand tone he’d been carefully knitting together for months. “Everybody’s going to be at least three drinks in by the time we get there, so their world is going to be shrouded in the forgiving haze of those horrible Pink Panty Droppers that Barton always insists on making. Besides, you’re coming in on the wings of glory. No one’s going to be able to see anything other than the star quarterback, recently returned victorious from the field of the state, national, regional championship — or the Nestlé Hot Pockets Bowl — or whatever it was you won today.”
It had been the big rivalry game against Liberty University, of course, and Tony had been in the stands the whole time. But he was glad he didn’t voice that embarrassing addition aloud, because Steve’s expression had somehow grown even more moody as he spoke.
“That’s what I’m worried about,” Steve replied finally, so softly that Tony wasn’t sure whether the words were meant for him or not.
“Hey, losers,” Natasha said, popping her head in the doorway. “Clint’s already texting me photos of ‘the Leaning Tower of Pizza,’ so if we want to get there before he’s puking in the bushes and singing ‘Single Ladies’ to regurgitated pepperoni, we better get this show on the road.”
She left to go rally the rest of their caravan (how she’d managed to coax Bruce Banner away from his textbooks and houseplants every Friday that fall Tony didn’t know and didn’t care to learn), and Tony heard Steve take a deep breath, as if he were readying himself for battle.
“You don’t have to come, you know,” Tony said, ignoring the part of his mind that was already shriveling at the possibility that Steve would take the out. “I know big parties aren’t really your thing. If you’d rather just catch up with Sam and Bucky —”
“I’m where I want to be,” Steve replied firmly, and when he turned to look at Tony there was a determination in his eyes that almost made Tony’s knees buckle on the spot.
Pull yourself together, Tony told himself firmly. You can make it through one party without ruining this.

do you even remember what the world looks like? by iron_spider
summary: Tony’s heart has been working on overdrive since this whole thing started. Friday has a countdown clock plastered on the heads up display, but it feels like hieroglyphics to him at this point, like some ancient language he could never master.
Because when Peter Parker is missing, things start losing their meaning real quick.
“Should be around here,” Rhodey says on the com. May is still on the other line, listening in, because once a certain amount of time goes by without word from Peter, things move into Extremely Worried Aunt territory. They’re already in Tony Is Panicking territory, and when both of those territories overlap it’s never a good time for anybody.
Time? What the hell is time? His mind is blanking numbers out entirely. Minutes are seconds are hours are years.

summary: “Hi! This is Peter Parker, I can’t get to the phone right now, so leave a message and I’ll call you back later! Hopefully not too much later, but don’t get your hopes up!”
Tony knows that message by heart. He’s heard it hundreds of times, in a greyer world, and it sends shivers down his spine as he climbs into the car.
He doesn’t think about that place. That half-world. No way, that’s done, that’s over, that’s history.“Hey, kid, don’t you know it’s bad etiquette to go and disappear on your birthday? Not allowed, really, really bad vibes from the universe. What’s going on with your suit? I wasn’t watching. Nope. Just got an alert. What’s going on? Uh, call me back.” He clears his throat and hangs up like a moron, driving out into the street.

I Need You (p.p)
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2,171
Warnings: angst? Little bits of fluff?
A/N: This was loosely inspired by an episode of Gilmore Girls 😂 I hope y'all enjoy and if ya do, I'd definitely love some feedback 💕 also shout-out to @hoe-forharry and @theadventurousqueen for reading this and helping me out 💖
Dealing with a breaking up was one of the hardest things you've ever had to do.
Barely a full twenty-four hours had passed, mostly spent in your pajamas, practically permanent tear stains on your cheeks from all the crying, and all you wanted was to be with the one person who could always make you feel safe; your best friend.
But what is one supposed to do when their best friend just happens to be the one that broke their heart in the first place?
You can't even remember how the argument started. One moment you were having a lovely dinner with the love of your life, prepared to have the movie marathon of a lifetime, and the next the two of you were spitting out things you were sure both of you would regret the next day. The night ended with your body going completely numb as you heard the words, "I think we need to break up," come out of Peter's mouth.
He was gone before you could manage to come up with a coherent thought, before you could beg him to stop and talk things out with you. You stared at your apartment door for a good 20 minutes in shock, hoping he would come back. He never did. You crawled into bed shortly after, a heaviness in your chest as you started to cry.
You weren't sure how long you laid there, tears flooding your face, never stopping, the numbness eventually going, leaving pure misery around to linger and force you to replay his last words to you in your head over and over. You fell asleep shortly after, only to continue the process again in the morning when you woke up to an empty bed and realized this was going to be your new normal from now on.
You tried everything to distract yourself. Well, everything that was within the vicinity of your bed, which included watching tv, reading your psychology textbook, and scrolling on your phone until you were forced to leave it alone to charge.
Nothing really worked, your mind coming back to Peter each time. You had to see him, talk to him, anything. You just needed him.
Before you knew it, you were unlocking your phone with a shaky hand, your fingers immediately tapping over the phone icon, Peter's number the first one to show on your call log. You hesitated over his name. Were you really about to call him?
Your body seemed to decide for you, pressing down on his contact before you could even really process or talk yourself out of it.
It rang a few times before disappointingly going to voicemail. You would've hung up if it wasn't for Peter's cheery voice ringing through your ears as his voicemail message started playing.
"Hey, it's Peter! Please lea-" you suddenly heard your own voice, saying something unintelligible in the background, making Peter laugh.
"Two seconds, babe, I'm trying to set up my-oh shit, it's still going. Um," you must've moved closer to him, your voice becoming clear as day you said "leave a message after the beep" with him, the two of you a mess of giggles.
You sounded so happy. What had changed from then to lead to heartbreak you were feeling now?
Your eyes were watering as you heard the sound of the beep.
"H-hey, Peter. It's me," you took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself, "Um, I know it's against protocol to call your ex after a break up, especially when it's only been a day, but I usually have my best friend here to talk me out of doing that."
You could feel the small resolve you had starting to break down, "I'm not really doing too great right now and I really need my best friend. Could you please come over? I need you, Pete."
You were full on crying now, sniffling in between your words. You were sure you were barely making sense at this point, "I-Um, please? Come here?"
Something inside of you snapped and you came to your senses, a gasp escaping your lips as you immediately hung up the phone. You felt so humiliated, how could you do that?
You threw yourself back on your bed with a groan, hoping more than anything that Peter would somehow not get that voicemail and you could save yourself from dying of embarrassment.
You spent the next hour contemplating your options on keeping Peter from hearing that message, your best ones being somehow getting into his apartment and deleting it or learning how to hack into his phone. Though you figured by this point he either hadn't heard it or had and didn't care. You almost hoped it was the latter, feeling guilty for calling him in the first place.
Suddenly there was a familiar tap on your window and you looked up to find your favorite masked hero sitting on the fire escape, giving you an awkward wave when your eyes met his. You rushed over to let him in, for a moment feeling like everything was normal.
"You're here," you mumbled, feeling breathless as you backed away to give him some space.
You watched as Peter crawled in, very ungracefully, immediately pulling off his mask, "I'm sorry it took me so long to get here, I was out patrolling and Mr. Stark said if I broke another phone, he would make me use an old flip phone."
You would've laughed if you weren't in complete awe of the boy standing in front of you, the one who no matter what, would always have your heart. "I just can't-you're here."
"Of course I'm here," he hesitantly reached out, as if contemplating what he was about to do, before setting his hand on your cheek, "Are you okay?"
Out of habit, you leaned into hand, savoring the feeling of his skin against yours. You sighed both out of content and sadness, "I could be better."
"Yeah, me too."
He stepped away from you, leaving an aching feeling in your tummy at the lack of contact. He took in your appearance, making you look away self-consciously. You knew you looked like a mess, with your puffy, red eyes, and makeup smudged around your face. Your room didn't look much better, wrappers and tissues thrown across your bed, some on your floor. You didn't have to look at him to know Peter most likely had a look of concern and probably pity on his face.
"Have you eaten any real food today?"
You gave him your signature guilty smile, "Do mini kitkats and oreos count as real food?"
He sighed, "I'm ordering dominos."
"Peter, wait," you gently touched his arm, wanting to feel him under your fingertips one last time before saying what you were sure you would regret later, "You should go. It was selfish of me to call you like that and I feel horrible. I'm sorry."
Peter looked down, "Don't, feel horrible, I mean. I would be lying if I said I didn't need this, need you, too."
"Oh."
You felt a pang of guilt in your heart at his words, realizing you'd been so selfish you hadn't thought that Peter would be hurting too.
"So, uh, pizza," he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, "Pepperoni and bacon?"
"Yep! Can we get those wannabe garlic knot ball things too?"
"Is that even a question? Of course we can."
You smiled, your first smile of the day. You knew nothing was normal and this was a temporary happiness, but a whole pizza and many episodes of friends later, that thought was far away in the back of your mind.
You found yourself laying beside Peter, you head on his chest and his fingers playing with your hair. You talked about everything, reminiscing about high school and your childhood together, all the embarrassing stories that haunted the both of you at night, the classes you were going to take when your next semester started in the fall, anything to avoid the topic of your break up.
"You wanna know how I found out you were Spider-Man?"
Peter paused his soothing movements on your scalp, "What are you talking about? I told you I was Spider-Man."
"Do you remember the first time I went and visited you at the Stark tower junior year? Well, Tony must've thought you told me, because he dragged me over to his lab to show me the new suit he was making for your birthday."
"Wait, so Mr. Stark spilled the beans and you never told me?"
"He made me promise not to!"
Peter pulled away from you, dramatically laying back against your pillow, a hand clutching his chest, causing a burst of laughter to escape from your lips. "I'm offended! How could side with Mr. Stark over your boy-" he cut himself off with a cough, a blush on his cheeks as he realized what he was about to say, "um, best friend."
The air seemed to shift, that heaviness from the night before making a reappearance. You wanted to change the subject, make him laugh and see his heart stopping smile once more, but now that it was on your mind, you knew you couldn't put off talking about it anymore.
So much for avoiding the breakup.
"Peter," you sat up, crossing your legs underneath you, "I think we have to-"
"I know."
Your teeth tugged on your lips nervously as you heard Peter take a deep breath. You kept your eyes glued to your bedsheets, hoping if you didn't look at him you'd refrain from crying.
"I'm not happy anymore."
"With me?" You held your breath, waiting for the confirmation you knew would shatter your heart into tinier pieces than it already was.
"No! I-I love you, y/n. I always have."
Your eyes shot up at him, full of hurt and confusion. "I don't understand?"
"You're one of the few things I've always been sure about, a constant in my life I can always count on, but right now, you're all I'm sure about and I need some time to figure everything out."
"Maybe, I could help?"
He shook his head, "This is something I have to do on my own."
You didn't know what to say, a hundred thoughts going through your head. The insecure part of you questioned his explanation, what if was just trying to spare your feelings?
No, you knew Peter wouldn't lie to you, not unless he was trying to protect you.
You wanted to ask him more about what was going on with him, he'd always come to you when he was in trouble before, but you didn't want to push him.
"Maybe I should go," Peter said, bringing you out of your thoughts.
"No, please don't," you pleaded, "I want you here."
You shifted, laying back down beside him. You laced your fingers through his, a small wave of relief washing over you when he didn't pull his hand away. "Can we pretend everything's normal for tonight?"
"I'd like that."
In hindsight it was probably a bad idea, but neither of you didn't care. How could you when you got to spend the night in Peter's arms?
You stayed up almost all night, kissing, talking, being wrapped up with each like you would any other day. The two of you fell asleep around 4 am, Peter's head nuzzled into the crook of your neck, his arm around your waist. You knew in the morning the hurt would be back and you'd have to deal with it on your own, but at least you were content, that feeling following you in your dreams.
Peter was the first one to wake up, the small bit of sunshine peeking through your blinds hitting his face. You looked so peaceful beside him, mouth slightly ajar, letting out the softest breaths, the sunlight behind you making you glow. He wished more than anything he could stay.
He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead, softly whispering, “I love you,” against your skin, before carefully crawling out of bed. He quickly changed out of the clothes you'd given him last night, his clothes, your favorite shirt and pair of sweats you'd stolen from him a long time ago, and back into his suit.
Pulling his mask over his head, he slipped out the window, giving your sleeping figure one last look before closing it behind him. He hesitated on the fire escape, thinking about the lies he told you last night. He considered telling you the truth, telling you about the impending doom on it's way to shred the whole world apart and how he was apart of the solution to stop it.
'It's safer for her not to know,' he thought, convincing himself he was making the right decision, even if it meant losing precious time with you.
As he started swinging away, he sent out a silent prayer, hoping he'd come back from it all to make it up to you.

Pepperony Week Day #1 - High School/College AU
Title: can we pretend this never happened? Rating: Teen Relationships: Tony Stark/Pepper Potts. Minor IronDad. Peter is a baby. Word Count:  2145 Summary:  Just a short little fic for Pepperony Week 2020 about Tony & Pepper having Peter when they were 16. Read it below, or on AO3!
Tony sat with his arms crossed over his chest staring straight down at the floor. The room was mostly dark so that Pepper could get some rest, but there was bright light flooding in from under the door. His father was pacing just outside though, which made the light blink on the shiny tile. His eyes focused on the changing light in the room as his mind wandered, and he just desperately wanted this to be over with. He didn’t want to dwell, it was too hard. He just wanted to move on and do his best to pretend that none of this had ever happened.
He spaced out, just watching the shadows from his father’s pacing back and forth, but suddenly the door swung open and the lights turned on, illuminated the stark hospital room. His father was the first in, followed by his lawyer, Mark, and then Pepper’s mother. Pepper shot right up and then winced a bit in pain before settling back against the bed. Tony rushed to her side and grabbed her hand.
“You ok?” He asked softly while keeping his eyes on the three adults in the room, almost protecting her from them.
“Yeah.” She answered as she grabbed her plastic cup of water.
“Can’t this wait? She’s exhausted.” Tony asked as he turned to look up at his father.
“No, it can’t. The parents are here and they want their son and I want all of this to be over and done with as soon as possible.” Howard replied sternly, his voice full of disdain. “Mark has a few things for you guys to sign and then it’ll be done.”
“And then we get our money, right?” Pepper’s mother, Cindy, asked while digging through her purse.
Tony couldn’t decide whose family had been more of a nightmare during this whole situation. On the one hand he had his parents, who’d always disliked Pepper and who couldn’t believe that he’d knocked up that piece of trailer trash out of wedlock . And then on the other there was Cindy, who’d also gotten pregnant at 16 and spent the whole pregnancy telling Pepper that she should have just gotten rid of it like I should have done. She only really changed her tune once she realized that the adoptive parents were willing to pay and that Tony wanted Pepper to have all of the money.
“Yes, the money will be deposited into an account for Pepper’s college.” Mark reminder her, which was something that Tony had insisted on. He knew that if given the chance Cindy would take it all, so he did what he could to make sure that the money went to Pepper.
“Yeah yeah.” Cindy sighed as he pulled out a pack of Pall Malls and lighter.
“Mom! You can’t smoke in here!” Pepper spat at her. “Just...just give us the papers to sign. I just want to sleep.”
Tony took the stack of documents from Mark, but instead of flipping to the flagged bits he started reading, much to Howard’s chagrin.
“Tony! Just sign the damn thing!” Howard practically yelled, which made Tony flinch.
“Can I read it first?”
“No, nothing has changed since we last talked about it. Just sign it. Both of you.” He said, holding out a pen.
Tony clenched his jaw as he took the pen and quickly flipped to the pages he had to sign. When he was done he spread them out on the tray table for Pepper and soon enough it was done. He was no longer theirs. Richard and Mary Parker were now his parents, and even though he knew they’d be good parents and even though he knew that everyone had agreed that this would be the best thing to do, it still stung. He was literally giving a piece of himself away, and as he locked eyes with Pepper he knew that she was feeling the same thing.
They’d known each other for a little over 2 years and been officially dating for roughly half of that. Tony had been kicked out of his prep school for accidentally burning down a building, so as punishment Howard sent him to the local public high school. He met Pepper when they were paired together for a project and they quickly became friends. It started off with months of them not sure what to make of each other, though they obviously clicked. Then they spent a few months having very obvious crushes until Pepper finally kissed him at the Homecoming dance their sophomore year. And now, half-way through their junior year, they were parents.
Well, not anymore.
Once the paperwork was signed Cindy quickly dashed out of the room, desperate for a cigarette and bitching about being late for work because of this. Mark quickly followed so that he could find the Parkers, and Howard just stood, peering down at them. Tony was looking at him almost defiantly as he held Pepper’s hand, just waiting for him to say something.
“Are you coming home?” Howard finally asked.
Tony almost laughed. “No, I’m staying right here. With her.”
“You should be at Harvard right now, not stuck with some tramp who tried to trap you with a baby.”
Pepper’s grip on Tony’s hand immediately tightened as she tried to keep him calm, but all that Tony wanted to do was jump up and attack. He was bigger and stronger than Howard now so he didn’t really have to take this shit, but this also wasn’t the time or place for a brawl. Plus he was just trying to push his buttons. Yes, if Pepper hadn’t gotten pregnant he’d be at Harvard right now, but he’d decided to hold off for another year so that he could be here when the baby came. He was only 16, Harvard could wait. So instead of lashing out, he just said nothing. He gave Pepper’s hand a squeeze, letting her know that he was OK, and eventually Howard just threw his hands up and left.
“I’m sorry.” Tony said as soon as he was gone.
“Don’t be, it’s certainly not the worst thing he’s said about me.” Pepper said as she shifted a bit to get more comfortable, which just made Tony feel worse.
“Still. Just like. You know none of that is true? What he said? I want to be here, I want to be here with you. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”
“I know and I love you.” She replied quietly before a silence fell over them for a while, neither sure what they were supposed to do or say now. “Did you see them?”
“Who?”
“The Parkers? They’re here, right? Did you see them?”
“No. Do you - do you want to see them? I’m sure I could find them.”
“No.” Pepper said quickly.
“Ok, ok. No problem. It’s late, let’s just try to sleep. Lay down.” He suggested as he tucked a few loose strands of hair behind her ear. He kicked his shoes off as he crawled into the bed, and once he was settled he pulled her down so that her head was resting on his chest. He started running his hand up and down her arm, just wanting her to relax. Soon he became aware that she was crying, so he just held her closer and let her cry. “Shh, Pep. It’s ok, he’ll be ok. We’re doing the right thing. He’ll - you know, he’ll be raised by people who love him and will take care of him. And we’ll both get to go to college, ok? It’s ok, it’s ok.” He said, not sure if it would help. He didn’t know what to say to make it better, and honestly he felt like crying himself. He just held her close though and let her cry until they both fell asleep.
Tony woke up early the next morning as the first rays of sun poured through the window. Pepper was sound asleep against him and he really didn’t want to move, but he also really had to pee. He slowly untangled himself from her and stood up. She stirred a bit and rubbed her eyes as they fluttered open. “Hey. Morning, beautiful. Sorry to wake you up but I didn’t want to wet the bed.” He joked, flashing her a big smile.
“Mmm can you get me some water?” She asked as she cuddled back up.
“Yeah, hang tight.” He said. He quickly dipped into the bathroom to pee and splash some water on his face before grabbing her pitcher and refilling her glass. “You feel ok? Any pain or anything.”
“No, I’m all right.”
“Ok. I’m uh, I’m gonna run to the vending machines, all right? Do you want anything?”
“No.”
“I’ll be back soon, don’t go anywhere.” He teased as he pulled his shoes on and dug around in his backpack for some money.
He never made it to the vending machines though. He hadn’t even really intended on going there unless Pepper needed something. Instead he found himself peering into the nursery at his son. Baby Boy Parker , as it said on the card. He looked around to make sure he was alone before he pulled put the disposable camera he’d bought at the gift shop. He wasn’t supposed to see the baby, and no one was supposed to know that he was the father. Howard had said he wanted it kept a secret for safety reasons, but Tony couldn’t help but feel that he was embarrassed. He didn’t care though, he needed to see him.
He snapped a few photos of the sleeping, angelic baby, and then just stood there for a few moments, looking at him. Tony was just a kid himself and had no idea how to raise a kid, nor did he really want to try right now. He wanted to go to school, he wanted Pepper to go to school, and he just wanted to be a kid himself for a while longer. Yes, they’d made a mistake. It was an accident, really. The condom broke and they didn’t realize until they were done. And they’d talked through all of their options and decided to give the baby up for adoption even before they told their parents, but it was still hard. Harder than he ever thought it would be.
He wasn’t sure how long he’d been standing there before the hallway started to fill with people, pulling him from his thoughts. He quickly tucked the camera away and turned to head back to Pepper, but that’s when he saw them. The Parkers. He’d met them a handful of times before, and they all froze when they saw each other. Tony took a deep breath and walked right to them.
“Hey guys.” Tony said, holding his hand out to shake.
“Hi, Tony. How’s Pepper?” Mary asked cautiously, unsure what to even say.
“Oh, she’s fine. We’re fine.” Tony answered, trying to work up the nerve to say what he wanted to. “Look, I know that I’m not supposed to be here. I’m not supposed to have any contact with you guys or with him now, which is fine. Really. No one is supposed to know who his parents are, which is also fine. But just. If you guys ever need anything , just ask. Ask me. I know who you are, I know you can find me. If he, you know, breaks his leg and you need to pay for the cast. Or if he decides to start playing the cello and you can’t afford to buy him one. Or just...anything. If you ever need anything, just ask. I’ll make it happen.”
Richard and Mary both looked a bit taken aback, but they both nodded. “He’ll be fine, Tony. We’ll take care of him.”
“I know, but the offer still stands, all right?”
“Thank you.” Richard said, giving him a smile.
“Ok. Well...well I have to get back to Pepper. Uh. Ya know just…” Tony trailed off, unsure what to say now. “Pepper’s allergic to strawberries and so is her mom. So keep an eye on that.”
“We will. Go on, go be with her.” Richard said, shaking his hand again.
Tony nodded before walking past them to get back to Pepper’s room, but stopped and called out to him once more. “Hey, um, one last question.”
They both turned to look at him, ready to answer whatever he asked.
“What’s his name?”
Mary just smiled. “Peter. Peter Benjamin Parker.”
“Peter? I like it.” He smiled as he finally walked away, eager to get back to Pepper and working on getting back to a normal life. He wasn’t going to interfere with the Parkers’ lives or keep tabs on them, but he just hoped that Peter would be happy and hoped that maybe someday their paths would cross again.

You sighed, your hand flat on the door. Your mother suggested the group to you. A support group, though you couldn't help but still feel like you weren't victim enough.
"You going in?" You snapped out of your thoughts as you made eye contact with brown ones. "Oh.. hi." You moved out of her way. "I'm scared too." You let out a soft laugh.
"I was my first meeting too. You want me to walk in with you?" Tears threatened to spill as you nodded. The girl reached out her hand as you took it.
The room smelled like vanilla and pop. A few girls had already sat down and made small talk. "Jess! Nice to see you again." The older woman said who sat at the north of the circle.
You bit at your lip nervously as you sat next to Jess, your denim purse in your lap, your ankles crossed.
You watched as Jess conversed with the other girls, smiling happily. "Will you be going to Liberty High?" A girl sat next to you. "I'll be starting the week after your guy's first week."
"My name is Nina."
"(Y/N)."
"What grade are you in?" She asked, trying to make conversation with you. "Senior." You rubbed your shoulder. "I'm taking extra classes so i can graduate earlier."
"That must be a lot work." Nina smiled at you.
Honestly, you could feel your nervousness leave your body.
You listened to everyone talk about how they were coping.
"Now would anyone else like to share… new girl?" The woman looked at you. "Can… can i stay sitting down?" You fidgeted with your thumbs.
"Of course, as long as your comfortable."
"Oh.. alright, um.. My name is (Y/N), I'm 17, turning 18 (Y/BD), my favorite color (color), and I moved here a week or so ago." You cleared your throat. "I don't know what else to say."
"And that is perfectly fine. You're doing just fine (Y/N)." Everyone began to chime in, telling you it was fine and you're doing well.
..
You sigh, and rub your knuckles as someone approached you over at the snack table. "I think you're really brave for coming here."
You turned around, "thank you. Justin, right?" You tucked some hair behind your ear. "Oh yea." He laughed a little.
"So, where'd you come from?" He asked, grabbing a red cup of Sprite. "Dothan." You said, looking over at his confused expression. "Alabama." You chuckled nervously, you hadn't really been that close to another person since..
"Have you gone too our towns movie theater yet? Me and Jess we're going to go see that new comedy."
"Oh are you and Jess..?" You asked, looking over at the caramel skinned girl, who, surprisingly, thrown a thumbs up at you.
"Yea. She thought you might need some friends who.. get it."
That's all you needed, honestly, you felt alone and wanted friends who understood.
..
Soon, you were included into Jess and Justin's friend group. Upon that, you met Zach Dempsey, Tyler Down, Clay Jensen, Tony Padilla, Alex Standall, Sheri Holland, Courtney Crimson, Scott Reed and Sheri Holland. They'd allow you at the table at Monet's, you definitely had a strict 'no-touching-me' rule. Which everyone ahered too.
"Did anyone do any of the math homework last night?" Zach asked, sitting down in his usual spot. "I did." You said. "Do you all need it?" You asked, looking up from your other classes' homework.
You ended up discarded your wants to graduate early. The high school experience seemed to suit you.
Your friends nodded, making you give a soft laugh and get the paper out of your binder, putting it on the middle of the table.
You looked over to the other side of the table. "So, (Y/N), got any plans for the weekend?" Alex asked you, prompting you to shake your head.
"Want to go see that new movie with me and Zach?" Alex rose an eyebrow.
Zach and Alex had been dating for a few weeks. "I wouldn't want to intrude." You laughed a little.
"I, honestly, just wanted to stay home this weekend, watch both Zombielands, eat pizza and just… just chill." You messed with your knuckles. "Not to say that I don't really like hanging with you guys, but I just want a weekend in." You dont say love, you haven't in months, not since him. "Calm down (N/N)... you don't have to explain shit to us." Tony who sat next to you, moved to nudge you, but stopped before you could notice.
"I know a pretty good pizza place. I could bring one over." Scott said, looking over at you, holding a mug in his hand. "That sounds... nice. Thank you."
..
You sighed, you wore a pair of grey baggy sweats and a Repzion hoodie, two sizes too big. You sat on the couch, legs crossed. Commercials started as you checked your phone for the time.
A knock at the door made you jump up and walk over to it, looking through the peephole. "I bring gifts." Scott smiled, holding up 2 boxes of pizza and a bottle of Sprite.
You unlocked the door letting him in. "Welcome to my humble adobe." You watched as he found his way to the kicthen with ease. "Wow… you really know this house."
"I actually lived here as a kid, then moved to my current house 8 years ago." Scott said. "I got plain cheese and a pepperoni meat pizza." You walked behind him. "And in case you had an allergy or something, gluten-free."
"Well, don't just stand around," he laughed. "Grab a slice." You nodded, grabbing a (pizza) slice. "So, what made you come here?" He asked as you both ate a slice of pizza.
"I don't like talking about it." You said, discarding the crust. "I can respect that." You nodded. "Do.. you want to stay?" You looked at him. "Watch the movie with me?"
"Are you comfortable with that?" He asked.
You paused, before nodding. "Yea. I am."
..
You ended up asleep, your head on the side of his chest. Your breaths were slow, calm, anxiousless. Scott hasn't even noticed, his arm was draped over your shoulder.
Your parents ended up coming home at around 11pm at night. This wasn't the first time Scott had been over, however it was the first time with out Jess, or any one else for that matter. Scott came over loads of times in the few months you has began hanging out with the group and your parents quite liked him, kind, respectful, 'a good pickle' as your dad said.
They nodded to him as they put the pizzas in the fridge along with the soda. "You get sleep soon Scott." Your mother said too him as she went down the hall to her bedroom with your father, closing the door behind them.
Scott sighed as he turned his head to the TV, watching the remainder of the movie.
..
Morning came and assuming Scott left you let out a disappointed sigh, sitting up you pushed your hair from your face and stretched.
"Good morning sunshine." Scott said before handing you a biscut and a cup of coffee he had gotten at the local breakfast place. "Oh, good morning." He had went into the kitchen, placing down two other coffees and biscuts on the counter before drinking his own walking back over too you.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked sitting next to you on the couch.
"I slept… fine." You said, even shocked yourself at the end part. "Well, I gotta start getting back to the house." He said before reaching his hand out. "Goodbye handshake?" He asked. "I know you don't exactly like touching, but what's a handshake got to hurt?" He asked, smiling softly. It make your stomach flutter as you grabbed his hand, shaking it.
"Come back another time?" You asked, a tinge of hope in the question.
"Maybe Saturday's can be our movie night." Scott smiled before taking his hand back.
"Maybe." You smiled a little.
..
And so it did, just about every Saturday, you two would watch a movie, eat a box of pizza, drink a liter of soda, fall asleep, Sunday, Scott would bring you and your family breakfast and a coffee for each and then leave around midday.
This went on for an entire school year, and in that school year, Scott had immense joy watching you change into someone new.
You were still socially awkward and wary of new people, but it wasn't as bad as it was when you first got here. You didnt wear as many hoodies anymore either, it was upgraded to teeshirts and jackets, his jacket sometimes.
There was no doubt about it. Your best friends definitely went Jess, Scott and Tyler.
"So... plan on telling me the details with Reed?" Justin teased. "(N/N) definitely has a crush." Jessica teased. "Even if I did?" You rose an eyebrow, sitting at the lunch table. "Why dont you ask him out?"
"I don't want to mess anything up with him." You sighed. "With who?" Scott asked, sitting next to you. "My dog! Uh, we're training professionally." You said, making a quick excuse up.
"You don't even have a dog." Scott rose an eyebrow.
"We're getting a Dobbie." You said. "Oh, cool. So what's gonna be the movie for tomorrow night?" He asked, eating a french fry. "I was thinking The Grudge? In theaters?" You asked, looking up at him.
"Oh dude, that's sick. Hell yea. Let's definitely do it."
You heard Jessica snort a little, she could obviously tell your attempt of asking Scott out on a date was, to say the least, failing.
"What are we gonna do for food though?" Scott asked. "I got paid yesterday.. we could go out for dinner too." You paused. "Finally could actually go to that pizza place you talk about." You looked at him.
"Oh, uh, sure." He laughed a little.
"Pizza and a movie? Don't you guys do that every weekend? Switch it up a little. There's a new restaurant opened next to the theater, just gotta go next door." Jess winked at you two.
"What kind of restaurant?" Scott asked, his hands in his pocket.
"Hibachi."
"Hibachi next to a theater… sounds sanitary." You laughed a little bit, causing your friends to look at you. "Hibachi sounds fine." You cleared your throat, shoving your hands in your pocket.
..
You sighed, looking at yourself in the mirror. You couldn't even remember the last time you wore makeup, you wore a smokey eyeshadow look and black lipstick. "Why not do something different?" You asked yourself outloud.
"(N/N)?" Your mom walked into your room, her eyes welling with tears as she saw you looking at yourself in the mirror, a smile on your face. "It seems so long since you've smiled at yourself." She walked over to you.
"Is he here yet?" You asked, rubbing your arm. "Living room." She smiled at you. "No later than 2."
"Alright mom." You said, walking towards the living room, messing with the scrunchie on your wrist. "Hey Scott." You said, making him stand and face you. "Oh wow." He chuckled, looking up at you.
"Ready to go?" You asked, grabbing your wallet.
..
You laughed as you leaned back in your chair. "You didn't!"
"Oh, but I did." He smiled, obviously beeming with pride. "All I've done is talk about me. Why don't you ever wanna talk about you?" He asked, putting a forkful of his food in his mouth.
"I'm not very interesting." You laughed a little.
"C'mon. Tell me something from your past." He grinned.
"Hm.. When I was 13 I dyed my whole head green because I was watching some anime and I wanted to look just like the main character." You chuckled a little at the memory.
"Have you ever gotten into a physical fight?" He asked. "A few times." You looked up at him.
"I didn't expect that from you." He joked.
"I was a pretty scary person at my old school." You paused. "Was the the all mighty 'goddess' there. No one really fucked with me… but it uh.. it changed because..." you trailed off, staring at Scott's hand.
"Hey, if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine. Don't stress it." He held your hand.
"Thank you." You whispered. "Ever had a boyfriend before?" He asked.
"Not really." You looked up at him.
"Is there someone you want? 'Cause I could hook y'all up, just say the name."
"Scott."
"Scott Shellings, Scott Quinn, Scott Brown?"
"Scott… Reed."
"We don't have a Scott Reed… oh… oh… oh! You mean me?" He asked, smiling a little.
"Nevermind, it's stupid, I should've figured you didn't like me like that."
"Hey, stop." He squeezed your hand a little. "I… figured it was the other way around." He chuckled.
"What?" You picked your head up, looking at him. "I've... I like you. You're sweet and funny and kind and… you're my best friend." He chuckled.
"You don't have to lie to me." You looked down. "Have I before?" You looked back up at him after he asked that question. "No."
"Do you think I am now?"
"No..."
"Do you think I will ever?"
"No Scott." You said.
"One more question, how would you feel about being mine?"
"I feel… okay with that." You smiled at him.
"Just ok?" He chuckled, kissing the knuckles of your hand. "I'm not gonna say I love you just yet. But when I do, you'll never forget it." He grinned.
"I'll never forget this night."

different worlds - peter parker (stark!reader)
Setting: AU (earth-3490 based on MCU) Gender: Female Contains: Angst + fluff = flangst, established character deaths, curse words, anxiety attacks, very vague description of gore, mentions of alcohol, slight spoilers for FFH, in regards to it being 3490 it has Stony in it but also pepperony !!! so Word Count: 9k (oops)
Summary: Peter Parker has to learn how to cope with his mentor and his daughter being gone from the world. He holds a lot of regrets now because of how he never took his chance with (Y/n). But what does he do when he’s given the chance to tell her exactly how he feels? Except the only thing is she’s from another universe and she’s accompanied by someone he didn’t even recognize.
a/n: fuck canon because in this story steve doesn’t go back in time at the end of Endgame. Based on earth-3490 with elements of the MCU. Earth-3490 is a universe in which Tony was born identifying as a female (imo, can be interpreted in many different ways) and is named Natasha Stark. She ends up marrying Steve Rogers so it prevents the entirety of Civil war. In this MCU-3490, they’re just dating then marry after the snap in IW Natasha ‘Toni’ now goes by Tasha as she becomes more comfortable with her name instead of Toni from the headcanon that her name is Natasha Antonia Stark.
Let me know if there are any mistakes, regarding the gender of reader, grammar, spelling, or with the story. c: [repost from my old account]
Enjoy!
☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆
❝ in any universe, i’ll always love you ❞
☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆
When walking into a field of flowers, which flowers do you pick? The prettiest ones, right? The ones that look the healthiest, the brightest colored, and most beautiful one. You pick the ones that smell sweet and make you feel at peace. And then you put them in a bouquet to give to a loved one. Or you make them into a flower crown to wear on your head.
Flower corpses. That’s what flower crowns were made of, in a more dark way of describing it.
And it makes sense, doesn’t it? You only really want to keep the best ones, even if they die sooner.
But God, is it unfair.
It’s so unfair that the universe decided to pick both Tony and (Y/n) Stark, the prettiest ones of the bunch. Even though they were still blooming, even though they still had yet to show all their petals, the universe decided to pick them. Tony Stark, the one who started it all, and (Y/n) Stark, the one who was too young.
They both had so much to offer to the world, so much to give. Whether it be new inventions or just flat out love. Both Starks had so much love to give to the world. And for one of them, she never got the chance to give that love to the one she loved most.
Peter Parker sat down at the edge of the lake, watching the two bouquets of flowers holding Tony’s first arc reactor and (Y/n)’s first stuffed animal. His eyes were red and swollen. Even with his regenerative powers, Peter cried so much that it couldn’t heal. But for once, in the past few days since the battle, both battles for him, he finally stopped.
His mouth was dry and his nose was clogged with snot but he couldn’t help but continue to watch two people he grew to love and cherish over the past few years drift farther away from him.
Peter didn’t even notice Steve walk up to him from behind. Steve cleared his throat, jolting Peter out of his thoughts. He looked up at the older man. In a different circumstance, Peter would have geeked out there and then. But instead, he turned his head back towards the two bouquets.
“Peter, right?” Steve asked, following his gaze. Peter didn’t reply. “I… I never got to see your relationship with Tony. But I know he was proud of you. He always was and always will be. And (Y/n), I’ve watched her grow up. I’ve seen her with her all her partners but I’ve never seen her happier than when she talked about you. What I’m trying to say here is that their love for you didn’t leave with them. It’ll always be a part of you and I know that both of them would rather have you up and about than crying over them.”
Peter pursed his lips then scoffed, shaking his head. He didn’t even know how to respond to the Star-Spangled Man. He just wanted to be left alone.
He was angry and sad and feeling too many things at once. But he was mostly mad at himself. Mad that he never told (Y/n) his feelings for her and mad that he couldn’t save her.
So yeah, he wanted to be left alone.
Steve shuffled his feet, glancing down then letting out a breath, “If you need anything, I’ll be inside. You should also have my number on your phone, I’ll still be around.”
Peter waited till he heard Steve walk into the house and closed the door behind him to start crying again. He pulled his knees up to his chest, hugging it and started sobbing. His crying causing his entire body to shake as he cried into his suit once more.
Steve watched Peter cry alone from the lake house. It was quiet, save for the small murmurings amongst friends, the quiet sobbing from Pepper and a few others. He wished he could have done more, maybe it could have been him and at least one of the Starks could have been alive.
“You ready?”
Steve turned to face Bruce who was holding a case most likely holding the Infinity Stones.
He nodded and turned his head back towards Peter. If there was one thing he could do for Tony after everything, it could be looking after Peter and his family. “Yeah, I’m ready.”
***
(Y/n) cheered, raising her glass with everyone beside her as her mom said a toast.
“To the future of the universe, and the future of the Avengers,” Tasha smirked while staring straight at her daughter. “Oh come on, I know I can’t give as great of a speech as winghead over here but let’s celebrate! To the future!” She raised her glass with her robotic arm, the drink inside splashing out.
“To the future!” Thor’s voice boomed and everyone else followed suit, clinking glasses and causing splashes to go all around. Nebula had even accidentally slammed her cup into Scott’s too hard breaking both of their cups.
(Y/n) grinned as she drank the Shirley Temple and everyone else began the road down drunkenness. She kept one hand on her little sister’s shoulder, Maria, pulling her in as she drank her own juice and the two watched their mom jump off the table she stood on. Peter’s arm wrapped around (Y/n)’s, giving her a kiss on her temple.
“You know, if I didn’t know any better,” Steve’s eyes glanced between (Y/n), Maria, and Peter, “I would have thought you guys were just a very young family.”
Peter’s grip on (Y/n)’s shoulder tightened then he let go, stammering with his face red. (Y/n) rolled her eyes and let go of Maria who promptly ran up to Steve. Steve set his cup down, then bent down to pick up Maria with a grunt.
“Oh please, dad,” (Y/n) said, intertwining her fingers with Peter’s. Steve raised his eyebrows, his mouth slightly parted and (Y/n) just took another sip from her drink. “What? I mean, you are my dad now.” She eyed the red and gold banded ring on his left ring finger.
“No, I just thought—”
“I’m still upset we weren’t invited to the wedding, right Peter?”
Peter glanced back and forth between his girlfriend and Steve. (Y/n) held a slight smirk on her face while Steve was clearly exasperated. Maria just sat in her father’s arms, playing with her hair.
“Uhhhh,” Peter rubbed the back of his head, his eyes traveling elsewhere in the room
Steve shook his head, “Come on, your mom wants to see you.” (Y/n) tilted her head, cocking an eyebrow. Her hand parted from Peter’s as she told him she’d be right back.
Steve weaved through the crowd of people. (Y/n) could barely keep up with him, despite her smaller stature compared to Steve’s. But as long as her eyes laid on the back of his head, that’s all that mattered.
Finally, Steve stopped, handing Maria off to Tasha and (Y/n) finally caught up.
“Geez, for an old man you’re fast,” (Y/n) bent over, exaggerating how out of breath she was. She yelped as her leg gave out and she fell forward. Steve caught her quickly and Tasha gasped, reaching down for her as well.
Eyes landed on the four of them, watching as Steve brought her back up.
“I’m okay,” (Y/n) waved an arm, standing back up. “I’ll be fine.” She grinned up at Steve and her mom and then lightly banged on her prosthetic leg.
“Kid, what the fuck?” Tasha scrunched up her face.
“Toni.” Steve glared at her then looked quickly at Maria who sat in her arms. Maria giggled and Tasha twisted her mouth, shutting her eyes and hoping for the best. Meaning, hoping Maria wouldn’t repeat what she just said. She opened up one eye looking at Maria who was playing with Tasha’s hair, about to let out a sigh of relief.
“Fuck!” She repeated.
“A-bup-bup-bup!” Tasha used her free hand and pointed at her. “Remember, Daddy trademarked that word, we can’t use it. Don’t say it again or Dad’s gonna sue as both, and then we’d both be in big trouble.” Maria pursed her lips with a smile still evident on her round face. She pretended to zip it. (Y/n) watched quizzically at her younger sister but then shook her head right after.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes at her mom. “You’re terrible.”
“Says you.” Tasha pointed down at her leg. “Let’s go get that fixed up.”
“But,” (Y/n) pointed back to the party, “the party.”
“The party can wait, let’s go.” Tasha handed Maria back to Steve and then wrapped an arm around (Y/n). “Also, winghead, why’re we using Toni again? Tasha’s fine. I guess Toni’s fine too, but please—”
“Okay, okay,” Steve shook his head, lightly pushing the two of you towards the elevators. “Go get (Y/n)’s leg checked up on, shellhead.” (Y/n) gagged, sticking out her tongue and called the two of them gross. Tasha ruffled her hair, messing it up.
“What kind of pet names are those?” asked (Y/n) once they got in the elevator. Tasha arched her brow and looked down at her daughter who was pretending to gag.
“Webhead and shockhead,” she coughed into her hand loudly. “Oh man, sorry, must have a horrible flu coming down.” (Y/n) felt a rush of blood rise to her cheeks as she began protesting those nicknames. Tasha laughed, ruffling her hair again once the elevator dinged, signaling that they were finally at the labs of the facility.
“Don’t worry, you’re more of a Stark now with those kinds of nicknames,” Tasha smirked, walking out of the elevator doors and into the lab.
“Do I have to change my last name to Stark-Rogers or something? Rogers-Stark? How’s that even working? What’s Maria’s last name?” (Y/n) walked carefully to one of the chairs, her mom already opening up holographic display to figure out the problem on her leg.
Tasha hummed, widening the diagnosis, “We both changed to Stark-Rogers. Mine first ‘cause it flows more smoothly. So’s Maria’s. You can do whatever, sooner or later-” Tasha wiggled her eyebrows at (Y/n) “-it’s gonna be Stark-Parker. Maybe Stark-Rogers-Parker, no that’s excessive.”
Once again, (Y/n)’s face grew warm and she looked away, crossing her arms. “Whatever mom, just fix my leg.”
“No ‘please’? Ouch, my heart.” Tasha feigned pain on her chest and (Y/n) brought her hand up to her face in disappointment.
Her mom began to mutter to herself, grabbing a few tools and bending down in front of (Y/n) and slowly pulling the prosthetic off to properly fix it. (Y/n) watched her mother curiously as sparks began to fly from the tools and as she walked around grabbing new materials to put in. FRIDAY occasionally giving her pointers that she might have missed.
(Y/n) glanced down at the stub of her leg, her stomach beginning to become uneasy. She bit her lip, flashes of the previous battle coming back. She shut her eyes, trying to control her breathing and a shiver rushed over her. More flashes of fighting Thanos, watching her mom hold Peter as he disappeared in her hands, waking up five years later on the deserted planet Titan after turning to dust, losing her leg in a one-on-one fight with the mad Titan, almost losing her mom to her snapping.
(Y/n) vaguely heard her mom scramble to her, trying to get her to breath and to calm down. She worked herself into a cold sweat and her eyes slammed open, meeting Tasha’s brown eyes.
Tasha looked up at her, her eyes glancing back and forth between both of (Y/n)’s and her hands resting on both sides of her.
“It’s okay,” she reassured, running her hand through (Y/n)’s hair. “We’re safe, I’m okay. You’re okay. Pete’s okay.” (Y/n) nodded her head, trying to bring herself back to reality. “Count five red things in the room, for me, can you do that for me sweetheart?”
(Y/n) nodded her head again, her eyes moving to her mom’s arm, then her mom’s lipstick, the Iron suits, the red labels on beakers, then a red flashing light. (Y/n) frowned even with a sense of tranquility coming back. She raised her slightly shaking hand and pointed at it.
“What’s—What’s—Why’s that flashing red?”
Tasha turned her head around then promptly stood up. “That’s strange.” She glanced back at (Y/n) then walked towards the red flashing light, opening up holographic screens, the red light flashed quickly only to stopped. “Huh, I’ll have to talk to Banner and Shuri about this.”
“What is it?” (Y/n) asked.
“Well,” Tasha shut the holographic screens off then walked back to where (Y/n)’s prosthetic laid, grabbing it, “after discovering time travel, I’ve been looking into interdimensional travel.”
(Y/n) raised her eyebrows, “Like, alternate universes?”
“Yeah.” Tasha bent down in front of (Y/n), clicking her prosthetic back into place. (Y/n) slowly stood up, testing it. A few whirs came from the robotic leg before it finally quieted down.
“Does dad know about it?”
“About that,” Tasha scrunched her nose then paused. “Wait, hold on, dad? You’re already calling him dad?”
(Y/n) walked around in circles, squatting here and there too. “I mean, you guys are married now, right? By the way, you should have another wedding, I didn’t get to make it to your first one.”
“Yeah yeah, only if you’re the ring bearer, I don’t trust Peter with the rings.”
“Wait!” (Y/n) ran up to Tasha, her eyes widened. “Really?! You really mean it?”
“Maybe not about the ring bearer, but the wedding, sure. Huh, I could ask more people to be my bridesmaid. Probably would ask Pepper, Natasha and Nebula again. But,” she began pushing (Y/n) along to the elevator. “Let’s deal with that later, you have a party to go back to.”
(Y/n) frowned, getting into the elevator and turning around. “What about you mom?”
She raised her robotic arm in the air, “Gonna try fixing this up, feeling a bit of phantom pain. I’ll see you back up there. And no drinking.”
The elevator doors shut and (Y/n) waved her off. Not like she would drink with all the Avengers watching her. And that includes the original and the ‘honorary’ ones. They’ve all watched her grow up, afterall. Nat was the one to push her to confess to Peter, Clint embarrassing the two of them when they finally got together, and the really weird double dates with Vision and Wanda. Uncle Bucky would terrify Peter in the beginning with his piercing glare until he finally warmed up to him.
(Y/n) laughed, remembering the pranks Bucky and Sam pulled on Peter immediately after Steve and her mom talked things out; about the Accords, about Bucky murdering her parents and Steve not telling her (that one left their relationship broken for a while), and then their relationship and where it was going to go. It worked out in the end, the Avengers stayed together.
It’s what gave them the upper hand against Thanos the first time around, but he still snapped his fingers. The five years after the snap (or blip as the rest of the world calls it) still happened, but damn was everyone filled with rage against the mad titan.
The elevator doors opened with a ding, and (Y/n) narrowed her eyes with a tilt of her head. The floor was unlit and very very empty. No music played and there were no drinks scattered about, it was just clean.
Her hands stayed by her side, electricity dancing between her fingers as she slowly stepped out into the empty floor. Her eyes scanned the room back and forth and she glanced over her shoulder to make sure there was nobody there.
(Y/n)’s steps were deathly silent (thanks Nat) and her breathing in full control as she walked forwards.
Clink!
Her head shot towards the direction of the dining table. The corner of the wall covered the person sitting there, eating what looked like a bowl of cereal. She took another step and saw the back of Peter’s head, his suit was more apparent underneath his clothes. Namely on his feet.
(Y/n) sighed with relief, all her muscles in her body relaxing.
“Peter! What’s going on? Where’s the party?” She walked up to the boy. Peter turned around quickly, the whites of his eyes showing and he shot his hand out.
(Y/n) maneuvered to the side, dodging the web and watching it get stuck onto the floor. She looked back at Peter with a frown.
“Babe, what the fuck?”
“FRIDAY, lock the facility down, and contact whoever’s available,” Peter stated, quickly grabbing the glasses set on the table behind him and putting them on.
“Pete, what are you doing?” (Y/n) approached him slowly. The room began flashing red, a silent alarm was probably going off.
“You’re not real,” he stated. “Mysterio’s gone. He’s—He’s dead. So whoever-” he began to raise his voice despite it cracking “-whoever this is, just stop. (Y/n) is dead and you can’t trick me anymore.”
(Y/n) tilted her head and Peter choked on a sob, recognizing that head tilt she would always do but he backed up again when she got closer.
“Who’s Mysterio?” (Y/n) asked softly. “Peter, I’m me. (Y/n) Stark. We’ve been together for a year and a half, not counting the five years we were gone, obviously. Remember? You told me you first realized you liked me when I jumped into the Hudson river after my hair got all frizzy from my powers on our first night of patrol together.”
“We—We never got together,” Peter stammered. “But I never told anyone about when I first—when I first realized I liked you. How do—How do you know that?”
The elevator doors dinged, and the two teenagers looked over at whoever was on it. A furious Tasha Stark came stumbling out in her suit of armor.
“(Y/n)! Are you okay? Wha—Where’s the party?”
A red, white, and blue blur appeared in front of (Y/n)’s face, causing her to go wide-eyed when it slammed into Tasha’s helmet, knocking her back. (Y/n)’s head shot towards the perpetrator and saw Steve standing there.
“Sorry I didn’t come sooner, everyone else is out,” Steve said to Peter. The shield came flying back to him. Peter ran up to him, raising his arms up to him.
“Wait, wait, Mr. Rogers,” Peter glanced over at (Y/n) who ran over to her mom, picking her back up. “They’re legit.”
Steve shifted his weight, looking uneasily at the young boy to the other two. Tasha stood up, her helmet coming off and her jaw was clenched, hard.
“Of course we’re fucking legit, what the hell was that winghead?” Tasha nearly growled. Steve and Peter just exchanged glances with one another as the two women waited patiently for their response.
“I am so confused.”
***
Steve’s eyes lingered on the blue and gold wedding band on Tasha’s left ring finger longer than he’d like to admit. To be honest, he felt his chest flutter at the fact that Natasha ‘Toni’ Stark (Stark-Rogers now) married him in another universe. He never really thought about Tony in that way, mostly because of the man’s relationship with Pepper. He never even thought he had a chance after their falling out, so he never gave it another thought. Besides, even if modern times was more accepting of it, he came from a time where same-sex relationships were frowned upon. It took him a while back then to accept himself and it’d only take longer for him to feel comfortable if he entered one of those relationships.
He sighed, glancing over at Peter. The young teenager was uneasy as his eyes stayed on (Y/n). Understandably so, his long time crush is standing in front of him and apparently, they were in a relationship.
Peter’s heart was racing. It almost felt like he was about to have a panic attack but for some reason, standing in the same room as (Y/n) was calming, even with Tasha explaining everything about her universe, the similarities and differences.
(Y/n) turned her head at him, catching him red-handed that he was staring. He never thought he’d be able to see her (e/c) eyes again and all he wanted to do was stare at her. Then she smiled, a sad smile as Tasha compared the Battle of Earth against Thanos, going over his versions of (Y/n) and Tasha Stark’s death, or, well, (Y/n) and Tony.
Peter smiled back but then quickly looked away, remembering how it felt to hold her in his arms as she began drifting away wearing the same exact smile she had right there and then.
He fiddled with his fingers, zoning out from the conversation. It wasn’t until a hand entered his field of vision, grabbing his, that he finally looked up.
“Come on webhead,” (Y/n) murmured, looking between both of his eyes, using the same nickname that his (Y/n) used for him. “Let’s get some fresh air, I think mom and your Steve need to talk about some adult stuff that we aren’t a part of.”
“Uhm,” his gaze glanced over at Tasha who gave him a very familiar nod of approval, “sure.”
“Cool, rooftop then?” she asked, already pulling him away. “I mean, I’m assuming you still hung out with me on the rooftop?”
Peter stared down at their intertwined fingers, not realizing she asked him a question.
“Peter?”
“Oh, yeah, we always hung out on the rooftop.”
She smiled, squeezing his hand and feeling a jolt of electricity flow through him. Peter couldn’t help but think, is this what her Peter always had? A part of him felt like he was betraying his own (Y/n) but she was alive again.
She was here with him.

The stars twinkled in the night sky, and as cliche as this phrase is, a little bit brighter that evening since the universe picked the two most beautiful flowers from the garden.
At least, that’s what Peter noticed.
The moonlight shone on (Y/n)’s hair, causing a bit of a glint, and her eyes glimmered with the same intensity as the stars above them. He took this time to memorize every curve of her face, every little twitch she made, any and all of the perfect imperfections. Peter wish he took this time when she was alive, and this was his second chance.
“The stars are the same,” she told him, finally looking back down at him.
“What?”
“The stars, they’re the same where I’m from.”
Peter’s heart ached, remembering that this still wasn’t his (Y/n).
“Oh, right. That’s cool.” He looked up at the night sky, feeling (Y/n)’s eyes burn into the side of his head. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw her shift to sit facing towards him.
“I… I’m sorry,” she murmured, looking down at her lap.
“Wh-Why?” Peter turned to face her. “You don’t have anything to be sorry for.”
“Well, I just—” (Y/n) tucked a piece of hair behind her ear “—It probably  hurts to see me again, right? And it’s probably weird seeing your mentor figure still alive, but identifies as a woman and, I don’t know. You don’t deserve any of this.”
Peter didn’t know how to respond. He’s sure that her Peter would have been more comfortable and would have grabbed her hand and hugged her there and then. But instead he played with his hands, stammering, and trying to find the words to tell her that they weren’t together.
(Y/n) placed her hand on his. Something that was probably a thing she did a lot to comfort him in her world. Something Peter wished could still happen for him in his world.
“We weren’t together, were we?” (Y/n)’s eyes searched his brown eyes for an answer.
He shook his head, looking down and away from her gaze. “No, we-uh, no.”
(Y/n) pursed her lips, deep in thought. “Well, I know in any universe, I’ll always love you. Whether it be in a universe where it’s platonic love or romantic love. And I know ‘love’ is a big word but it’s true.”
Peter felt his chest clench up and his sobs trying to make it’s way through his throat. His mouth twisted with the corner of his lips turning downwards and his eyes began to water.
(Y/n) wrapped her arm around his shoulder and her other around his head, bringing him into her chest as she rested her chin on top of his head. She continually ran her hand through his hair, attempting to calm him down. He slowly placed his arms around her. His fingers grabbed onto her clothes, his knuckles turning white. He was terrified. Terrified that she’d leave from his arms again. So he held her tighter.
“I’m so—I’m so sorry, (Y/n),” Peter’s voice cracked. (Y/n) opened her mouth to say something only to stop. “I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you or—or your dad. I’m sorry I—I’m sorry I didn’t tell you how I felt. I’m sorry.”
(Y/n) held him a little bit tighter, knowing that he’s telling her everything he wished he could tell his version of herself. So she did exactly what she would do, being the same person as the other her (most likely).
She kissed the top of his head and said softly, “You have nothing to be sorry for Peter. You did everything you could, I’m sure of it. Sometimes we lose people and the best you can do is to move on. I’m sure I would-” (Y/n) stuttered, pausing for a moment “-other me would want you to be happy.”
Peter gripped her a little bit tighter, a little bit closer. He didn’t respond with words. Besides, he just wanted to be in her comfort for a little bit longer.
A few minutes had passed and Peter’s crying had settled down. It was his first breakdown in a while, but it was a much needed cry. He was thankful for that.
“Parker! (Y/n)!” Tasha called out. “Need you back down in the lab!”
The two teenagers pulled apart. Peter wiped away any stray tears and then apologized to (Y/n) about the tear stains on her.
“Eh,” she waved him off, standing up, “it’s fine, don’t be sorry.” (Y/n) held out her hand for Peter and he tenderly took it, bringing himself back up a bit. A jolt of electricity shot through his hand and he almost flinched until his hand was lightly squeezed.
(Y/n) smiled at him and then began walking back down, letting go of his hand. He watched her with a small smile making its way onto his face.
***
(Y/n) lightly jogged into the lab, Peter trailing behind her. She saw her mom standing in the middle surrounded by a series of holograms and Steve standing off to the side.
“What’s going on?” (Y/n) asked. Both adults turned their heads to face the two teenagers.
“We’re planning on figuring out a way to get back home,” Tasha walked through the holograms towards (Y/n). The holograms promptly turned off after she left. “It’s going to take a while and in the meantime, you’re going to need to lay low for a while, stay off the radar.”
“Me? What about you, you’re Natasha Stark.”
“She exists as Tony Stark, remember?” Steve brought up. (Y/n) nodded her head and pursed her lips.
“So I just stay here? Don’t people outside the Avengers still work here too though? They’ll see me.”
“Right,” Tasha pointed at (Y/n), wiggling her finger, “we talked about that. Remember the cabin Steve and I—our Steve—built? By the lake?”
“Yeah, the one you raised Maria in.”
“You’ll be staying there. With Pepper.”
“We already talked to her and she’s fine with you staying.” Steve said.
“Pepper? Why’s Pep there?”
Tasha raised her brows and pulled her mouth into a tight line. “Tony, other me, he married Pep. Had a kid, her name’s Morgan.”
“Oh shit, is Morgan going to—will she…” (Y/n) trailed off, looking back and forth from her mom, Steve, and Peter.
“She knows of you, but she never met you,” Peter told her. “She’s still really young.”
“Another little sister, okay, sure.”
***
The cabin was exactly how it was from her universe. The lake in the distance, glistening from the early morning sun. The little port extending into the water. The bit of light peeking through the branches. It was home.
But not hers.
Steve drove (Y/n) to the cabin, leaving Tasha to continue working on a new device alongside Bruce Banner and Shuri. Both of them were taken aback when seeing Tony alive again, but as a presenting woman. Bruce definitely had his fair share of emotions to see his friend alive again, even if they weren’t exactly how he remembered them. It didn’t matter how his friend presented themself as, as long as Tony, or Tasha really, was alive.
Peter was situated in the back of the car, he was going to help (Y/n) out on situating herself in a somewhat different world. And to help Pepper and even Morgan, who had shed a few tears after learning she’d never get to meet her older sister, see (Y/n) again.
“So, Steve,” (Y/n) asked, turning her head towards her. “Since you’re obviously not with my mom, or dad I guess, who are you with?”
Steve eyed her from the corner of his eye and chuckled. “You know, you and Natasha were always trying to set me up with someone. After my relationship with Sharon went south and all.”
“Sharon?!” (Y/n) nearly slammed her hand down on the armrest when turning her entire body to face Steve. “As in the former Agent 13?” Steve raised a brow at her, almost worried. She maneuvered her body back front as he came to stop in front of the house. “That’s crazy.”
“Yeah, and believe it or not, I was about to go back in time and stay with Peggy.” Steve turned off the car and the three occupants got out of the car. Peter went to grab his belongings and (Y/n) stood there staring at the cabin.
“That’s weird Steve.” she frowned, after putting some thought into it. “What made you stay?”
Steve took in a breath, his brows furrowed ever so slightly. His eyes went towards Peter, who was still grabbing things from the trunk, and then back towards the cabin where he could see Pepper cooking and Morgan with Happy on the couch through the windows.
“I don’t know,” Steve finally replied, letting out his breath. But (Y/n) knew better. From his gaze at Tasha, to even the memorials they’ve passed of Tony Stark, to how Steve’s been taking care of her, Peter, and clearly even Tony’s family here and there.
(Y/n) walked to the back of the car, wondering why Peter was taking so long. He shut the trunk with a slam before she could get there and she jumped.
“Oh, sorry,” he murmured, rearranging the bags he carried.
She rushed over to him, grabbing one of his bags. “It’s fine, let’s go in then?” (Y/n) looked over at Steve who stood there. “You coming in?”
Steve shook his head. “No, I’ll probably head back to the facility, see how your mom’s doing.”
“Sure, do you mind passing on a message for me then?” Steve shook his head in response. “Tell her if she told Steve—our Steve—about this, this wouldn’t have happened. Or at least, he’d know where we’d maybe be.”
Steve arched a brow but before he could say anything (Y/n)’s attention went back to Peter who still seemed weary around her. He watched them go up the porch and knock on the door.
(Y/n) could tell Peter was still nervous. Or rather, he was unsettled by her presence. He didn’t know she knew, but he should have expected much. If this (Y/n) was in a relationship with him in another universe, surely she knew him like the back of her hand.
And she did.
“You don’t have to be so nervous, ya webhead.” (Y/n) lightly nudged the side of his head with her free hand. Peter noticeably relaxed, his muscles loosening and the grip he had on his bags didn’t make his knuckles as white. He stared at her. His gaze jumping back and forth between both of her eyes as if he was searching for something.
“Yeah, sorry, I just—I’m still getting used to this situation we’re in,” Peter said.
(Y/n) chuckled, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. “Yeah, what are the odds this happens to me and to my mom and to your universe.”
The two teenagers exchanged glances, a small smirk on (Y/n)’s face. “One in fourteen million?” They both said at the same time, laughing lightly.
“God, remember waking up and I was like, ‘Strange if this isn’t the—’”
“‘—future we win, I’m killing you.’” Peter finished for (Y/n). The two laughed, reminiscing on a shared memory across their universes.
“Man, what’s taking Pep so long?” (Y/n) wondered, knocking once more. The door flushed open to an exhausted Pepper Potts-Stark with a young girl behind her legs, Happy standing behind the two of them. Pepper stared at (Y/n) who smiled and did a small wave at her.
To (Y/n), Pepper was Aunt Pepper.
But to this Pepper, (Y/n) was her daughter.
So she clasped a hand on her mouth, walking slowly towards (Y/n) with one hand reaching for her. Her face was pained as she choked out on saying (Y/n)’s name.
Pepper set a hand on (Y/n)’s cheek. The younger girl placed her hand on top.
“Hi, uhm,” (Y/n) stuttered out, about to call her Aunt Pepper but remembering what Steve mentioned earlier. Pepper was her mother figure in this universe. “I called you mom a lot, didn’t I?”
Pepper pulled her hand back quickly, realizing this wasn’t her (Y/n). “I’m sorry you’re—I’m not, uh, come in, come in.” She stepped off to the side, letting the two teenagers in. Morgan watched and Happy stood there not saying anything.
(Y/n) dropped Peter’s bag to the side. As Pepper shut the door (Y/n) walked over towards her and enveloped her into a hug.
“I’m sorry I’m not exactly your (Y/n), but I’m still (Y/n),” she murmured in the hug. “I can still call you mom if you want.”
Pepper pulled back, keeping her within arm’s reach with her hands on her shoulders. “No, it’s fine.” She wiped away a few of her tears. “It’s just, wow. I thought my life wouldn’t be as crazy now that Tony’s gone. But it’s as if it’s just getting crazier. Who am I to you? In your universe?”
“Aunt Pepper,” (Y/n) said. “And we’d go out all the time because my mom, uhm Natasha Stark, she’d get too crazy or overwhelming for the two of us. You and Happy-” she gestured towards the man who was grabbing Peter’s things (that was a surprise to her) to put into a guest room “-took care of me when she was kidnapped. And when my mom built you your suit ‘Just in case’ and you wore it to the battle, we fought side-by-side with my mom and we were like a dynamic trio of women in tin cans. Uncle Rhodey, of course, got offended he wasn’t invited to the party.”
Pepper laughed, remembering Rhodey making a few remarks that eventful battle. Morgan pulled on Pepper’s leg, asking to be carried and (Y/n) watched her pick the small girl up. She reminded her a lot of Maria but (Y/n) knew this was a different sister of hers. Maria Stark-Rogers didn’t exist in this universe.
“Hi, Morgan right?” (Y/n) asked, recalling what Steve informed her on. “I have a little sister I think you would have gotten along with very well.” (Y/n) waited for her to respond only to purse her lips when Morgan held onto Pepper a bit tighter.
“She’s been more quiet since Tony died,” Pepper informed her.
(Y/n) nodded, “That makes sense. I was pretty quiet and upset when my mom was kidnapped.”
Pepper chuckled, “I remember that.”
The two of them continued their small talk as Peter went off to find Happy. He walked up the stairs to where he saw the older man go up to but found him leaning against the doorframe to what was (Y/n)’s room.
The floor beneath Peter’s foot creaked and Happy turned around, wiping away the tears in his eyes.
“Oh, it’s just you,” Happy said.
“You okay Happy?” Peter asked. Happy opened his mouth, then closed it, thinking about what he wanted to say to the young boy.
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that? I mean, seeing her again, after everything that’s happened…” Happy trailed off, remembering the nights Peter would sometimes call him after the trip to Europe about the hallucinations Quentin had put him through.
“Yeah, I mean…” Peter bit his lip, playing with his hands again. “No, I don’t know. It’s weird to see her again, alive. And Hap, in her universe we’re, we’re dating.”
If it was possible, Happy’s face softened even more. The two of them were in this together. But Happy knew that he needed to be the one to be there for Peter.
“Well, then maybe this is the universe giving you a chance to tell her everything and to give you a few more moments with her.”
“But,” he frowned, “isn’t that weird? Would that mean she’s cheating on me… with me?”
Happy sighed, rubbing his face with his hand. “That’s not what I meant.”
***
It took a lot of time for adjustment for everyone to see people who used to be dead to be alive and for one of them to look different but act the same. It took Pepper a lot of time to come to terms that in another universe, she isn’t Tony’s wife. Rather, she was actually more of an ex-girlfriend and it made her wonder if her Tony would have done something different if he could.
That is, until Tasha reassured her that the reason for these alternate universes were small little changes, and that she, or he, married Pep for a reason.
(Y/n) spent a lot of time with Peter and Morgan. Of course, she’d go out with Pepper, Happy, Rhodey, and anyone she was close to in this universe that was willing to spend time with her before she had to go back. But they all made sure Peter got the most of it, along with Morgan.
For the first time in a long time, Peter looked happy and Morgan finally got to meet her older sister.
Peter laughed, holding Morgan on his shoulders with his hands clasped on her ankles, running behind a tree. (Y/n) pretended to look in the distance with her eyes squinting. She raised her hand to her forehead mock-searching for the two.
Morgan giggled and Peter peeked over the side of the tree for Morgan to see (Y/n).
“Now where did they go?” she mused. “Maybe I should take a break by that tree over there.” She slowly trekked over towards the tree Peter and Morgan hid, pretending to look under rocks.
Peter burst into a sprint past (Y/n). Morgan’s laughter filled the air and (Y/n) stood there for a second watching them run away. She started into a jog after them, calling their names, when she felt a jolt run up her prosthetic leg and she collapsed onto the ground.
Peter turned around, mid-laughter, when he saw her on the ground, clutching her leg.
“(Y/n)!” He quickly put Morgan down on the ground and ran towards her. He fell to his knees beside her, hands hovering over her leg trying to see what was going on.
“It’s my leg,” (Y/n) hissed. “Malfunctioning, I think. Ah, fuck!”
“Okay, okay, uh, let’s get you to the lab first.” Peter slowly picked her up bridal style, careful not to hurt her. (Y/n) wrapped her arms around his neck, her teeth clenching as she felt the phantom pain and the malfunctioning of the synthetic nerves in her prosthetic.
Peter dashed to the house, Morgan already keeping the door open for them.
“Thanks Mo,” (Y/n) said, trying not to show her pain. She gave her a smile and a wink before Pepper came into view.
“Oh my God, (Y/n)! Are you okay?” Pepper’s words came out in a flurry and Peter rushed down the stairs into the basement of the cabin where the lab was.
“Yeah, I’m fine! I just—ow, fucking shit!” (Y/n) threw her head back and began to bite on her lower lip. She began to taste iron in her mouth as Peter set her down on one of the tables. “FRIDAY, contact Tasha Stark to come by. Peter, you’re gonna need to take off my leg.”
“Yeah, easy, this is fine.” Peter ran around the lab, grabbing the necessary tools and FRIDAY put up the holographic diagnosis of malfunctions for Peter to read.
(Y/n) lay there in pain, gripping the flesh part of her leg. Lucky her, she was wearing shorts that day.
Peter was quickly by her side, tapping on the holograms in front of him then looking back down and immediately getting the leg off of her. In an instant, the pain subsided and (Y/n) let out a breath of relief. She closed her eyes.
Her muscles relaxed as she set her head back down on the table and letting her hands rest on her stomach. Pepper stood at the head of the table and pushed (Y/n)’s hair out of her face. Sweat gathered at the sides of her forehead from all the pain.
“You feeling better (Y/n)?” Peter asked. (Y/n) nodded, not having enough energy to say anything. “Good, I’ll see what I can do with your leg and leave the rest to Ms. Stark.”
Pepper’s hands stroked her hair slowly, (Y/n)’s eyebrows relaxed and the lines on her forehead disappeared. Unbeknownst to Pepper, in (Y/n)’s world, Pepper had done this for her a lot especially when Tasha had been kidnapped.
Morgan’s head peeped from the edge of the table and her hand reached out to touch (Y/n)’s shoulder.
“She’s resting, Morgan,” Pepper said softly to her. Her mouth went into the shape of an ‘o’ as she murmured an apology and then set her hands on the edge of the table.
(Y/n) turned her head, opening her eyes and looked over at Morgan.
“Hey, Morguna, sorry we had to stop playing,” (Y/n) grunted as she sat up and maneuvered towards the girl. She ignored Pepper’s protests and went to grab Morgan and set her on her other leg.
“It’s okay,” Morgan replied, staring at the stub. “It’s not your fault.” (Y/n) looked down at what she was staring at.
“Do you want to know what happened?” Morgan nodded her head. “Well-” she shifted the girl on her leg “-you know what happened with the big bad Titan, Thanos, right? It was after half the universe came back and mom—I mean—our dad, was fighting Thanos. And I saved him. He got really mad but lucky for me, we won the fight and was able to get me help. I lost my leg but I’m here now!”
Peter had stopped working by the end of the story, remembering that day but knowing it didn’t go exactly like how (Y/n) said it did. Not in this universe. He never had the heart to tell her how she died in this universe.
“But, you’re not from here, are you?” Morgan asked. (Y/n) exchanged a worried glance with Pepper until Peter saved the day.
“Okay!” Peter held (Y/n)’s prosthetic leg and all heads turned to him. “Your leg should be fixed up but we’ll need to test it out a bit.”
Pepper reached over to pick up Morgan, “Alright, we should get out of your guys’ hairs.”
(Y/n) watched them leave and then looked over at Peter. “That was a close one.” She laughed lightly and Peter chuckled.
“Yeah, she’s smart for her age.” Peter walked over towards her with her leg. (Y/n) sat on the edge of the table and Peter knelt down, slowly placing her leg back on. With a click and a hiss, Peter smiled. He stood back up and looked at (Y/n) who was way closer to her than he thought. Her eyes soft, staring at him.
“Thank you, Peter.”
His eyes flickered down to her lips and she was about to lean in when she pulled back fast. Her lips were pursed and she looked down. Tasha came rushing in and down the stairs, frantic.
“(Y/n), holy shit, you’re okay.”
Peter took a few steps back and away from (Y/n), crossing his arms and glancing at the stairs. He saw Steve enter the room as Tasha was examining her daughter’s leg.
Steve gave him a smile and a nod. Peter waved at him. His eyes moved from (Y/n) then back to Steve, finally deciding to talk to the older man.
(Y/n)’s eyes stayed on Peter as he walked over to Steve. The two exchanged a few words and then went up the stairs looking like they wanted to talk in private.
“Was something going on between the two of you?” Tasha asked, staring at the empty space where the other two stood. Her eyes then met (Y/n)’s who sucked in a breath through her teeth.
“I mean, technically,” she raised her brows. Tasha narrowed her eyes at her. “Okay, I know, I know. Yes, there was, kinda, but I mean he’s also still Peter. But I know, I won’t do anything. It’s just, I don’t know. It’s weird.”
Tasha scoffed, “Yeah, it is weird. Trust me. But also, it’s a good thing nothing’s going on between you two. Not ‘cause of the weird, philosophical thing of is there any difference in our Peter, but because Bruce, Shuri, and I figured it out. We’re going home.”
(Y/n) stared at her wide-eyed. “What?!”
“Yeah, Steve and I were on our way here when FRIDAY called me.”
“Damn.” There was a beat. “And we found how to get to our exact universe?”
“Yup,” Tasha said, popping the ‘p’. “We should say bye to everyone.”
“Already?”
Tasha nodded. “Our universe only aligns with this universe to allow travel every month or so, and we’ve been here for a month already.”
(Y/n) sighed, hopping off the table. “Okay, let me just say bye to Morgan and Pep then.”
Tasha wrapped an arm around her and the two walked up. Steve was talking to Peter and Pepper and their heads turned to the two Starks.
Pepper wore a sad smile on her face, “So you’re leaving?”
“Yeah.” (Y/n)’s face reflected hers. She rushed forward, hugging the older woman and Pepper held her tight. She felt tears fall on her face and (Y/n) pulled back, Pepper wiping her eyes.
“I’m sorry, I’m a mess,” Pepper laughed.
“It’s okay, I’ll miss you a lot, tell Happy I said bye and that everything’ll be fine, I’m sure.”
“Of course, and don’t give other-me too much trouble,” she warned.
“No promises.” Tasha walked from behind (Y/n), going to say her goodbyes to Pepper as well. So (Y/n) went off to find Morgan who was sitting in her room on the small table, playing with a tea set and stuffed animals.
(Y/n) sat beside her. “I’ll be going now, I just want to say goodbye.”
“Will you be coming back?”
(Y/n)’s heart broke and she reached over to Morgan, stroking her cheek with the back of her fingers. “No, I don’t think I will be. But I can try, maybe?”
“If you try, then I guess I’ll let you go.”
(Y/n) raised a brow then laughed. “So I wouldn’t be able to leave without your permission?”
“Nope, daddy didn’t leave with mine and now mommy says he’s with you but that’s not true either.”
“Well, it’s kinda true.”
(Y/n) sighed and Morgan got out of her chair to hug her. Despite her small figure, her hug was tight. (Y/n) hugged back, nuzzling her face into Morgan’s hair.
“I love you lots, okay?”
“I love you three thousand,” Morgan mumbled into (Y/n)’s shoulder.
A knock on the door frame grabbed (Y/n)’s attention and there stood Peter. He motioned that it was time to go and then Morgan pulled away.
“Be good, okay?” (Y/n) kissed her cheek and stood up to leave. “You coming with?” She gestured towards the bags in the hall.
“Oh, yeah, May wants me back plus I can just say bye to you back at HQ.”
“Solid.”
(Y/n) grabbed one of his bags, much to his protests, and began walking back towards the others.
***
(Y/n) stood in front of the device, Bruce and Shuri standing by the controls flipping switches and typing in coordinates. Tasha was talking to Steve, saying a few goodbyes (among other things) and (Y/n) figured this would be a good time, the only time, to say one last thing to Peter.
She turned to Peter who was also staring at the device.
“Um,” she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. “About earlier, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have—”
“Oh, no, no, it’s fine that was… also my fault.” Peter rubbed the back of his neck.
“So—” They both said at the same time, then laughing.
“You first.” Peter motioned towards her.
“Thank you… For spending time with me even though you didn’t have to. I know it probably triggered some memories for you but you still did it anyways. I don’t think I would’ve survived this past month without you.” (Y/n) grabbed one of his hands, stroking the back of it with her thumbs. Something of comfort that she had done with him long before they dated, in her world.
“It was nothing. I-um. If anything, it helped me a lot,” he gripped his hand on hers. “Closure and all. I—I know you’re not my (Y/n)? But, I feel like I need to get this off my chest, like I should have before—before…” His gaze turned downward and (Y/n) squeezed his hand, reassuring him. His head snapped back up to her and she smiled.
“It’s okay.”
“I—uh—I really like you. A lot. You make me smile a lot, and you’re like a ball of sunshine. Ray of sunshine, I mean. Ball? What.”
“Pete,” (Y/n) giggled.
“Right,” he laughed nervously. “You’re an amazing hero and person who works hard. Your laughter is like music and I just—I really like you. And I wish I told you all of this sooner and there’s so much more I have to say but I can’t remember and I just. I really like you.”
Out of the corner of their eyes, they saw the interdimensional device begin to work and Tasha motioning towards them that they had to get going. (Y/n) nodded to her mom before turning back to Peter.
“I like you a lot too, webhead. I know the me in this universe did too. And I know the me in this universe will want you to move on and to be happy. So let yourself be happy. It’s okay to be selfish sometimes.” (Y/n) stood on her toes and kissed him on his cheek. “Take care of yourself, okay?”
Peter nodded, swallowing as he held back his tears. “You too. Try to visit, if you can.”
(Y/n) nodded and hugged him. Peter relished her embrace and held on tight before Tasha came up to them. (Y/n) pulled away and smiled at Peter then took a few steps back.
Tasha set a hand on his shoulder. “Look, kid, I know I’m not your Tony but I’m still, Toni. You’re doing a good job, and I know he’s proud of you. If you can, keep being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, capiche?”
“Yeah, got it.”
Tasha smiled, pulling him in for a hug then pulling back.
“Since when were we there?” Peter joked.
Tasha smirked, shaking her head. “Always were, kid.”
With that being said, Tasha walked over towards the device besides (Y/n). Bruce gave them the ‘okay’ and before they headed through they both gave everyone one last glance, then taking a step in.
***
Tasha and (Y/n) was met with a messy lab, an exhausted Steve Stark-Rogers with his hand on his face, a sleeping Peter Parker with Maria in his arms, a Bruce slumped over a desk, and Shuri who walked in with her cup of coffee.
“Oh, shit!” Shuri dropped the coffee on the ground, splashing it everywhere. Steve jumped in his seat, knocking everything around him. Bruce fell out of his seat and Peter groaned, waking up while Maria rubbed her eyes.
“Tasha.”
“(Y/n)!”
The two boys got up abruptly, Peter holding Maria in his arms still, and ran towards them, hugging them. (Y/n) and Tasha laughed as they hugged them back. Maria stayed in Peter’s arm, looking between (Y/n) and Tasha.
“Group hug!” she yelled. The four of them looked at each other then at the small girl.
“Group hug?” (Y/n) asked. Steve laughed, wrapping an arm around Peter then pulling him, which in turn pulled her into a hug. Maria stayed in the middle of it as they all stayed there hugging, like a small happy family.
Shuri and Bruce watched, exchanging glances with each other.
Bruce cleared his throat, taking off his glasses. “Where were you guys?”
Tasha poked her head out, looking over at Bruce. “Alternate dimension.”
“What?” Peter asked, excitement flowing through him. “Another universe?! Does this mean in one universe Star Wars could be real? Or instead, (Y/n) had spider powers instead of me?” He continued to ramble and (Y/n) and Tasha could only laugh.
Steve stared down at all of them, a smile very apparent on his face. In due time they’d tell everything but for right now, he just wanted to keep them all safe in his arms.
a/n: So Tasha and Steve named their kid Maria after Tasha’s mom. Just an fyi. If enough people like this, I might make this a mini series. The mini-series would just explore the 3490 universe on (Y/n)’s relationship with Peter, Tasha, Steve, and the other members of the Iron Family. I’m thinking about writing the civil war version along with a Homecoming/IW/Endgame version. And maybe I’ll write the other universe where both (Y/n) and Tony die.

Why do you think there is so much hate from Morgan's fans towards Irondad fans *tony&peter*?
Hi!
Well, I believe Morgan’s fans divided themselves in two (I can be wrong about this) the ones that have always wanted to see Tony with a biological daughter/son and pepperony fans that have always wanted to see Tony and Pepper raising a child together.
I’ve seen comments of fans that are incredibly angry with the Russo brothers because Tony made the whole sacrifice thing for Peter. I’ve seen long essays talking about how OOC it was from Tony to sacrifice his life with Pepper only to save “some child” he met a couple of years ago.
This is not about who is wrong or who is right. This is about preferences.
Some people don’t like including Peter in the ironfam because they think Peter is taking the crown from Morgan. They think Tony runs by favorites and that Peter shouldn’t be included in that part only because he doesn’t have Tony’s blood running through his veins (not all fans are like this). But this is their point of view and we should respect that as it is. In my opinion, I don’t see where’s the competition, Tony was a child that used to compete for Howard’s attention all the time and I don’t think he would want that for his children.
Now, don’t think it’s only Morgan’s fans the only ones that are angry. Some irondad fans can’t stand Morgan, and this is one of the possible reasons:
While I respect the intention, and I think Tony loved that child to the moon and back, the truth about Morgan’s character is that she was created for the sake of the plot. She was conveniently the sorrowful factor the writers and directors used to give Tony a significant enough sad story to give him closure. They created her so they could justify his death. For them, there was no other way around. It’s almost like: There. He had a daughter, he was married, he had his meaningful life, now he can die like a champ.
And I’ve said this before too: I can understand why it makes sense for his character to do that. Tony would sacrifice himself for everyone. He would do it in a heartbeat.
Having said that, I don’t agree that’s the only direction Tony’s character could’ve gone. And this is what bothers some irondad stans, the fact that Morgan was there when Tony’s screen time could’ve been used to see him fight to bring Pete back. There are at least a dozen fanfics dedicated to this. The Russo Bros created this expectation, they wanted fans to expect something bigger from Tony and Peter’s relationship by giving them a gut-wrenching ending in Infinity War. When they didn’t deliver on that, many fans felt cheated.
This is where their dislike for Morgan starts and ends.
If you ask me, I’m a person that knows how to see the neutral point of everything, it’s kinda annoying sometimes but works for me, I don’t get attached too much this way.
Now, I would trust a child created by Jon Favreau in Iron Man 4 or in any other movie, but with his understanding of the character. Not coming from someone who refers and thinks of Tony as a nonprogressive selfish arrogant asshole all the time.
Thnx!

Does Your Mother Know
A/N: Peter is 18 in this, nothing inappropriate. Age gap. You’re like 25, he’s 18. Also yes I got the inspiration while watching Mamma Mia.
Pairing: Peter x reader
Even though the Avengers now had an upstate facility you were staying at the tower for the time being. You were working on your masters degree in neuroscience at Columbia, so Stark offered an available room in the tower, of which you were grateful. You had cringed at the thought of having to take a car into the city for your classes every other day but Tony hadn’t thought twice about setting you up at the tower, claiming you could keep a watchful eye on everything.
What you didn’t know, what Tony conveniently forgot to tell you was that Peter was also staying in the tower. He started his freshmen year at NYU for Biophysics. It’s not that you had a problem with Peter, not at all. You had known him since he was 15 and Stark recruited his help at the airport in Germany, but Peter had developed a bit of a crush on you. Which more than weirded you out. He was only seven years younger than you but the thought of dating an 18 year old made you balk, it felt wrong.
Most times you could steer clear of Peter, claiming you had research to do (which wasn’t completely untrue) or saying that you were going out with your friends when really you were hiding at your friends apartment, avoiding him. After the tenth visit to your friends apartment she officially banned you for your own good. And she was right. You just had to tell Peter you weren’t interested in him like that, it should be easy.
The next morning you readied yourself to talk to him. Practiced phrases over and over in your head until they sounded right. You wanted to let him down gently, he was still your friend after all. And you wanted to make it perfectly clear that this didn’t have to mean the end of your friendship, you could move past this amicably. All of those thoughts left your mind when you walked into the kitchen to see Peter chugging a glass of water.
Your mouth went dry. He was only wearing a pair of gym shorts slung lowly on his hips, giving your eyes the perfect chance to glimpse the v that was prominent. You also got a very close look at his abs which were, um, impressive to say the least. You maneuvered your way around him to get a coffee mug and start making your brew for the day, your mind now muddled. He refilled his glass once more and then gently pressed his hand against your lower back before moving behind you, “I’m just gonna sneak by you.” His voice husked in your ear.
You’re so hot, teasing me. So you’re blue but I can’t take a chance on a kid like you. It’s somethin’ I couldn’t do.
You coughed to cover up the shock as you filled your mug with coffee. You didn’t bother to say anything, much less risk a glance in his direction, as you added milk and sugar to your drink. You knew what he was playing at, you just shook your head and laughed before turning around to go back to your room, conversation be damned.
But like the dutiful enhanced human he was, he was in front of you in a second, blocking your path with his lithe but toned body. He leaned against the wall casually, like he had done this hundreds of times.
“Don’t I get a ‘good morning’?” Peter asked jokingly, cocking his head to the side. You could see mirth in those chocolate eyes of his and you wanted nothing more than to wipe the expression off of his face. You just rolled your eyes as you walked around him, giving his half naked body a wide berth.
There’s that look, in your eyes. I can read in your face that your feelings are driving you wild. Oh but boy you’re only a child.
You had been around the block enough times to know what that expression meant on a guy. Hell, you had given that expression yourself once or twice, enough times to know that nothing good, or rational, ever followed. You were saving the both of you an even more awkward conversation than the one you had actually worked out in your mind.
“Good Morning Peter.” You responded in a singsong tone as you walked back to your room, hot coffee in hand. You could hear his resounding chuckle as you closed your door and prepared for the day.
An hour later, as you were preparing to leave for class you got a text from the Iron Man himself.
Stopping by later today for a little get together. Nothing major, just a few friends. Tell Pete
You rolled your eyes as you typed your response. For Tony, “little get together” meant the whole damn team. Here. In your apartment. You made sure to have a cleaning crew come by the tidy up while you were out. You were about to send a text to Peter when you literally ran into him while going to the elevator.
He caught you, hands gently but firmly pressed against your shoulders as he helped you right yourself.
“Woah, where’s the fire?” He questioned, warm brown eyes meeting your own.
“Class, and then back early because apparently we’re having company tonight.” You explained to him as the elevator opened and you both walked inside. Peter was standing closer to you than usual but not close enough for you to comment on it so you let it slide, for now anyway. You had enough to deal with.
That night you had come back to the tower at 6pm sharp. You were thankful that the cleaning crew was gone and left the place looking spotless. You had two hours to go before Tony and whoever else arrived so you took the time to relax and unwind. You played music as you took a shower and tried to pick out something to wear. You weren’t sure what you were in the mood for until you saw the perfect dress.
It was a button down shirt dress that stopped mid thigh. The best part was that it was in royal blue, Peter’s favorite color. Just because you didn’t want to date him didn’t mean you couldn’t have fun. He sure had a hell of a good time teasing you this morning. It was time to give him a taste of his own medicine. You grabbed a deep tan belt to wrap around your waist and didn’t bother to do much with your hair. You painted your lips a deep cherry color before adding small diamond studs to your ears. You looked at the clock and it read 7:55, perfect timing.
You came into the main area where Peter was sitting on the couch wearing a striped button down of his own and dark wash jeans. He stood at attention when you walked into the room and you could feel his eyes roam over your body. You gave him a coy smile and fluttered your lashes before the elevator door opened. Tony spilled out along with the team each carrying an assortment of food and drinks.
Rolling your eyes you made your way over to Tony who was already directing where everyone should place the numerous pizza boxes and different cases of beer, hard cider, spiked seltzer, and other kinds of mixed drinks. Honestly, after the week you had, you were more than grateful for this but you would never let Tony know that.
“I thought you said a ‘little’ get together.” You said, a twinge of a whine in your voice.
Tony smiled as he threw an arm over your shoulder and gestured at the team, “There’s only like what, 12 people here. Relax.” He pressed a kiss into your hair before going off and grabbing a slice of pepperoni from Nat.
You were happy to watch the lovely chaos unfold before you but then Bucky was walking towards you, a hard cider in his hand.
“Ugh you’re the best I love you.” You moaned to your best friend as you opened the can and took a generous swig. Bucky was your best friend on the team and even though you were glad to be living in the city and thus close to campus, you were bummed that it meant you couldn’t see Bucky as much.
“Careful sweetheart, don’t let Pete overhear ya.” Bucky teased, opening a beer for himself. You shook your head at his antics, because he knew how much it was on your mind. You, of course, had told him about it and he, being very unhelpful, told you that you could probably stand to get laid.
“You know what, I take it back, I hate you.” You replied before going into the kitchen closet and pulling out a cooler. Bucky helped you load it up with ice before you took it to where the alcohol was. Bucky made some lame ass excuse about checking in on Steve as Peter headed in your direction. You silently cursed him as he walked away.
“Mind if I take a beer?” Peter asked, gesturing to the brews in the cooler.
“Aren’t you a little young Pete?” You teased, reaching inside to get him one anyway.
“I’m old enough.” He replied brazenly before taking the beer from your hands, letting his fingers brush up against yours.
Well I can dance with ya honey, if you think it’s funny, but does your mother know that you’re out?
Fine, two could play at this game. You, having finished your cider alarmingly fast, reached down for a spiked seltzer this time, fully aware of Peter’s eyes on you the whole time.
“It’s getting a little warm in here don’t you think?” You questioned, as you lifted the cool can and pressed it against the column of your throat, moaning a little bit as you did so. Peter’s Adam's apple bobbed in his throat as he watched you slide the aluminum across your skin and the trail of condensation it left behind.
You took that feeling of satisfaction with you all the way to the couch where everyone else was chatting about their latest missions.
“Ugh I wish I could be on missions with you guys, getting a masters is hard.”
“But the work you’re doing is literally groundbreaking. I would argue that it’s more important than what we do on the field.” Steve replied, ready to cheer you up, and you were glad for it.
“I agree, I think you’re doing great work.” Peter said casually, as he sat in the vacant spot next to you, opposite Sam.
“Hey Pete, how’s freshmen year going? Meet any cute girls?” Sam teased and you internally groaned. You wanted to smack Sam. He knew what he was doing.
“The girls at school don’t really interest me,” Peter began, placing a hand on your bare knee and rubbing his thumb back and forth across your skin, “I’m into someone else.”
“Oh yeah.” Bucky teased, eyes narrowing in on Peter’s hand. “What about you doll? You into anyone right now?” Oh you could kill him. You could murder Bucky and you’re pretty sure nobody would stop you.
“Well...there is someone.” You started, at this Peter’s hand stilled, waiting for your reply.
I can chat with ya maybe, flirt a little baby, but does your mother know that you’re out?
“Really?” Peter choked next to you.
“Mhm,” you started, “But I don’t know if I should give him a shot or not?”
“And why’s that?” Bucky asked, knowing damn well what you were doing. You gave a small smile before you answered.
“I need someone...with experience in certain things. And he's younger, so I don’t know if he’s qualified for the job. If you know what I mean.” You responded, letting the implication of your words hang in the air.
Bucky choked on his beer and Peter removed his hand from your leg all together. You smiled. That should buy you some space, or so you thought. Twenty minutes had passed before you got up to use the bathroom. The team hardly noticed, they had picked a movie to watch and everyone seemed pretty glued to the TV. There was only an acknowledgement from Bucky to bring him another beer when you got back.
You checked your phone in the bathroom and gave yourself a once over in the mirror before you planned to head back out. The only problem was that when you opened the door, a very determined looking Peter was standing on the other side of it.
“Can we talk?” He asked, voice soft. You conceded and he walked into the bathroom with you before you closed the door again. You turned around to find him staring at you, brown eyes now a liquid amber shade. You didn’t say a word as he moved towards you until your back was pressed against the bathroom wall. He brought a hand up to rest it over your shoulder, pressed against the wall.
“What are you doing?” You asked, gaze locking with his.
“I think you know.” Was all he said in response, as he leaned in closer to you. You just shook your head as you rested your hands on the planes of his chest and then ran them up to rest on his shoulders.
“What do you want Peter?” You asked again.
“I want you. I want to kiss you.” He admitted. And maybe it was his honesty, maybe it was because you had been teasing each other all day, or maybe it was because you hadn’t had more than one drink in a while, but mostly it was because you wanted to see how far he was willing to take this, so you said, “then do it.”
He pressed his lips to yours in a gentle, if not unsure, kiss. But you were having none of it. You made up your mind and you were done with his teasing. If he wanted to kiss then you were going to give him the kiss of a lifetime. You threaded your fingers through his hair and pressed your body against his own as you deepened the kiss. You felt his arms wrap around your waist and you moaned your appreciation against his lips.
You gently coaxed his mouth open with your tongue and wasted no time in exploring every inch of him, enjoying the throaty moan that followed. You walked him backwards until he got the idea and sat on top of the toilet seat, with you in his lap. Your lips never left his as you undid the buttons on his shirt and started to kiss the newly exposed skin, appreciating the deep lipstick shade that marred his otherwise perfect complexion. You moved off of  his lap as your hands found his belt buckle and began to undo it.
“Woah, are you sure?” He asked, his face flushed and hair mused from your hands.
Take it easy, better slow down boy, take it nice and slow. Does your mother know?
You cocked your head to one side and rested your hands on his upper thighs before you spoke.
“Isn’t this what you wanted? I can’t think of another reason why you keep teasing me.” You whispered in a husky voice, looking at him through your lashes. The picture of submission. Before he got to answer there was a knock at the bathroom door.
“Doll are you still in there? I wanted to make sure you weren’t dead.” Bucky called from the other side and you had to fight the giggle that made its way up your throat. Of course Bucky knew what was happening here. You pressed a finger to your lips for Peter to be quiet before you answered.
“I’m in the middle of something, I’ll be out in a minute.” You called back. You heard Bucky say something under his breath before you heard his footsteps recede back into the main room. Suddenly you got up from your knees and went in the mirror to wipe off your lipstick and fix your hair.
“Well, this was fun. Let’s do it again sometime.” You mused to a confused Peter who had a mixture of a shocked and frustrated look on his face.
“Wait, where are you going?” He asked as you unlocked the bathroom door and made for the hallway.
“To watch the movie with the team.” You said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “See ya out there.” You gave him a wink before you walked back into the main room and sat down next to Bucky who gave you a knowing smile. Peter came out five minutes later and took a spot on the floor next to Tony who asked him where the hell he’d been. Pete looked like a goldfish as his mouth opened and closed repeatedly, looking for something to say, before he came up with an excuse and Tony went back to watching the movie.
You were curled into Bucky’s side with his arm wrapped around you when you felt Peter’s eyes on you again, giving you a questioning look. You only gave him a smirk and a wink in return before turning your attention back to the movie.
Does your mother know, does your mother know that you’re out?

absolute top favourite tony h/c fic recs?
Thank you for the ask and sorry for taking so long to answer! I have a recommendation section here on my blog, but I extended it a bit and posted it below:
Cat’s Tony hurt/comfort fic recs
Long works
If you’re up for a dark, violent, and incredibly touching and well written novel in which Tony and Peter are broken and put back together countless times, go for How to repair a broken heart by InfluentialPineapple. In my opinion, it’s one of the best pieces of literature ever written anywhere, even outside of the fanfic-realm. It describes a journey on which Tony and Peter slowly grow together, and although it´s terribly sad and extremely whumpy, you can see the love the author has for their characters in every single line. Injury, illness, violence, torture, anxiety, PTSD, this one´s got everything, so please heed the TWs.
Dark Memories by @trammelsb: This story is centered around child (sexual) abuse. But it is so much more than Tony suffering through flashbacks and panic attacks (although there is a great deal of that) and being comforted by his team members, especially Bruce, his partner. It is about Tony going through a great deal of character development, learning that he is not to blame for what has happened. The author doesn´t shy away from all the heavy topics, but she also never ceases to treat the characters with respect, In the end, it seems to be a story about not giving up, and despite all the pain it causes when you read it, the feeling that stays is that it´s worth to keep fighting.
Arc Tremors by @rose-on-the-mountain: 44 epic chapters of Whump and the kind of fluff that is not fluffy at all, rather makes your heart overflow with emotions. It´s Avenger-family centric, including Pepper and Rhodey and wonderful robot characters, themed around an illness that forces Tony to go through a difficult heart procedure. Everyone’s shadows and traumas get their due, and it balances darkness and light admirably well.
One Hell of a Show by MillyVeil: Clint and Tony get kidnapped and tortured. Heavily. This is one of the physically most brutal whump-fics I know - Milly is like the Tarantino of fan-fiction - but god, it´s well done. TWs for detailed descriptions of rape and violence.
Resistance by thegraytigress: Tony and Steve are captured by the Kree and held in a concentration camp-like environment for months. This is a slow-built, well thought-through love story with a lot of pain and a deep exploration of Tony´s and Steve´s characters as well as their emerging relationship. It has one of the best and most realistic aftermaths to traumatic experiences that I´ve ever read. It’s basically a book worth of heavy, heavy, heavy physical and emotional whump. Please mind the TWs.
She’s my Ride Home by OfMonstersAndMe: The most beautiful recount of how Nebula’s and Tony’s friendship develops in the 23 days they spent in space. Lots of great hurt/comfort scenes and spot-on characterisation.
450 Feet Under by Veldeia: Tony is trapped in a cave with no way out. The Avengers are on the way to get him, but when he gets seriously injured, the rescue mission becomes a race against time. 15 chapters of absolutely satisfying whump, snark, and feels. Background Stony. Simply brilliant!
Short(er) Works
Basically all Tony fics by @builder051. I especially like this Pepperony Christmas fic and this Nat & Tony cave anxiety fic.
Strong Enough by Ranni: Steve, Tony, and Clint are held prisoner, but the real danger begins when their captors abandon the prison to let them die in their cells. Injuries, torture, pneunomia, great dialogues. Platonic relationships between the three men, really touching, but not cheesy. Ranni is one of my favourite writers, and all her other stories are equally intruiging. Monsters and Beloved Companion also have a lot of Tony Whump.
Five Times Bruce is Not That Kind of Doctor™ + One Time He’s Perfect For the Job by @whumphoarder and @awesomesockes. The most amazing mix of humour and whump you’ll ever find. I love all their fics, so some more of my Tony Whump faves are The After Party and Desperate Times.
@taylortut writes beautiful and touching fics in which Tony gets whumped around other Avengers. Mostly h/c with illness or injury (and some adorable daily-life drabbles).The stories are generally light-hearted, but not at all superficial. I still can´t decide which one is my favorite because I love all of them, so I´m putting up the general link to Taylor´s Blog. Find her here on A03.
The Minor Fall, the Major Lift by sahiya: This one is about Bruce coming back to the compound after Civil War, trying to pick up Tony´s broken pieces. It has the best characterization of Tony, Bruce and Rhodes I´ve seen in a while now. Everything about this fic seems fragile, the characters, the conversations, the shaky comfort they manage to build. It´s slow-paced, and it´s not a fix-it-all, and this is what makes it so good. Sahiya is one of the best writers out there and her series “Me through Him to You” is printworthy.
Bruce and Goose´s Truce by @twentyghosts: After Infinity War, Tony is saved from space. Bruce medically examines him while being heavily flirted at, then they bathe together, and Tony cries, and Bruce holds him tight. Everyone is more than a little broken, but it´s okay, because they have each other back. More Tony Whump in Cold, Comfort and Unmasked.
nimentia by TinyFuryCloud: Tony and Steve have been married for more than 20 years when Tony is diagnosed with Alzheimer´s disease. This story is so terribly well done. The whole process of Tony slowly disintegrating, slowly getting lost, but somehow, somewhere, still being Tony, is recounted in precise detail with just the right mixture of matter-of-fact descriptions and emotions. Also, A+ characterisation of everyone who is and was part of Tony´s life, including Peter and Jarvis.
Hubris by @writingromanoff: Tony gets kidnapped and tortured by Justin Hammer. Tortured, as in forced to walk for days and days in the desert without a drop of water, and that´s just the beginning. When Steve finally shows up, Tony doesn´t even know whether he´s real anymore. I still can´t decide whether the whump or the whump´s aftermath is better in this one, both are very well described. Heed the TWs (torture and humiliation, obviously, as well as ED behaviour and others). By the same author: somno, the best concussion fic in the universe, and Blue Lips, Blue Veins, which is on some other level of genius alltogether.
Just a rather very intelligent system by @darkestsight: Seven instances of Jarvis taking control over the suit and saving Tony´s ass without anyone noticing. Not all of them are sickfics. Chapter 3 is my personal favorite and contains a physically and emotionally beaten-down and extremely tired Tony; chapter 5 has him dealing with PTSD and chapters 6 and 7 involve him getting injured. I liked the idea of it and enjoyed the interactions between Tony and Jarvis.
Pressure Point by ratherastory: Another migraine fic, with a very precise description of the pain Tony´s in and a nice amount of Starkasm. Steve as caretaker. Can be read as Stony, but doesn’ t have to. Pain and vomiting.
Home by @saber-wing: All Tony wanted was a cup of coffee. But then Thor’s Asgardian monster pet decides to try and eat Tony’s leg for breakfast. Excellent whump, Avengers family feels and a lot of humour. The author has many more amazing whump fics!
I Can´t Exactly Hold Your Hair Back by SirSapling: This is based on the comics and not the movies. It features Tony with cancer and Steve taking care of him on one of his bad days. I like this one for its slow whump build-up. Stony. Tags for migraine, vomiting, mentions of cancer.
Bust a gut, Tones by @whimsicalethnographies: Tony has appendicitis and Peter is the only one who realises it. Perfectly balances between humour and seriousness.
Fool’s Luck by @msermesth: Steve arrives on his doorstep exactly three hours and twenty-seven minutes after Tony finishes the last word of his eulogy. LOTS of pain. TW alcohol abuse, angst and suicidal thoughts. This is short, but extremely well done.
don’t let the blue skies fade by @blancheludis: This starts as a mission-gone-wrong fic with a perfect whump setting (of course Tony has to hide his injuries from everyone) and character depth that focuses on team dynamics and the evolving relationship between Tony and Steve.
Side Effects by discipulapauper: Steve and Tony are stuck in the desert, and Tony discovers that the serum causes unexpected complications when Steve doesn´t get food and water for a long time…Nice whump scenes, good characterization and mostly non-cheesy, non-stony dialogue. Featuring heat stroke symptoms and hallucinations.
Presenteeism by Veldeia: Tony thinks it is a good idea to send an empty suit along with the team on a mission while riding out his hangover alone somewhere in the middle of Russian nowhere. Too bad his hangover turns out to be something worse…
Mohini´s prompt fill for Nov(emeto)ber 5 by @mohini-musing: Tony is sick and Bucky doesn´t really know how to handle it. A short but greatly written fic with emeto and fever, no WinterIron.
My own fics : 40+ stories of physically and/or emotionally hurt or sick Tony

A night to remember
“Welcome to your new home guys.” The team had arrived at one of SHIELD’s still intact safe houses. The team looked a little worst for wear. Clint had Natasha wrapped up in his arms, Steve was holding Tony up, and Thor was telling Bruce he was not a monster. They all had a haunting look in their eyes. What did they see in those visions? Only they would know what their darkest nightmares were. “How many rooms are there because I wouldn’t mind having my own?” Tony chirped up. “Well, all I know is we have to share rooms.” Clint told them. They all looked at each other nervously. They were teammates but not really on the level of sharing a bed with a friend yet. “How about we draw names? How does that sound?” Clint walks over and grabs a baseball cap and places everyone’s name in the hat.
“Who wants to go first?” Natasha grabs the hat and pulls out the name Bruce. “Bruce, promise you won’t touch me or any of my things. I don’t like human contact.” Bruce looked over and saw the smile on her face. He hoped she was joking. “Okay, Tony, your turn.” Tony pulls out Steve. Tony looks over and saw Steve was blushing, but it was gone as fast as it was there. Thor claps Clint on the back in excitement. “Yeah, want to play Call of Duty tonight. Bruce want to join.”
Everyone ran to their expected rooms but Tony and Steve. “Interested in watching a movie tonight?” Steve walked over to look at what was offered. Tony was happy to have his best friend there with him, but he was scared about tonight. He didn’t want Steve to see him vulnerable. “Sure, you find one and I’m going up to take a shower.”
“Hey, Tony, do you want chicken Alfredo or homemade pizza?” Steve walked in to find Tony in just a towel about to get into the shower. “Hello there Captain, would you like to join me in the shower?” Steve was shocked and kind of turned on, but he could never say anything. Tony laughed at the look on Steve’s face. He loved to freak out Steve. It was always easy to. “Just messing with you Rogers. Why are you asking about dinner? You cooking.” Steve rolled his eyes. Tony had no faith. “Yes, with Natasha helps. So, what do you want?” “Oh, please don’t burn down the house you two. I guess pizza sounds good.” Tony was now laughing. Steve could see every muscles of his tensing with laughter. All he wanted to do was kiss him. “Steve did you choose a movie?” Steve snapped out of his daydreaming. “Oh, oh yeah. It’s a surprise. Now go take a shower so I can wash up next.” “Aye, Aye Captain.”
Tony walked down the steps to find Clint yelling at Thor for cheating. Which couldn’t have happened right? Bruce just shaking his head wondering what he got himself in. He looked over to see Steve and Natasha cooking together. Steve was laughing at one of Nat’s jokes. His laughter was music to Tony’s ears. Tony just stood off to the corner to admire him. Steve had broad shoulders and the curve of his back was nice. Tony liked to imagine what he would like if he just took off that shirt. And his ass was not bad looking either.
“Hey, there Tony. Like the view.” Tony looked around pretending not to know what Natasha was talking about. “Finally, you’re out of the shower. You got this Nat while I shower.” Nat glared at Steve. “Yes, Steve. It’s not liked its rocket science.” “Its not Steve. Trust me I have a PhD in rocket science.” Tony walked over to Nat to steal some pepperonis, but his attempt was squashed by her. “Ow, don’t hit me.” He rubbed his sore hand. “Oh, you will be fine. Now tell me what that look was.” Tony coughed in shocked. “What look? What are you talking about?” “You know exactly what I am talking about. The heart eyes at Steve. You pretty much bored a hole into his back.” Tony laughed nervously not wanting to meet her eyes. “He’s just my best friend. I was zoned out. Thinking about the mission.” Nat rolled her eyes not believing a word he was saying. “You can lie to yourself but do realize lying to me never works because I know the truth.”
“Now will you tell me what movie we will be watching.” Steve handed Tony the last dish to dry off. It was nice that he decided to help him. Steve loved when Tony was near him. He felt calmer, more relax. More like at home. “We are going to watch Back to the future. You always say it is your favorite movie and they have the whole trilogy here so why not.” Tony looked over at Steve with a broad smile on his face. He remembered; Steve actually remembered. Tony twisted up a towel smacking Steve on the ass. “Ow!” Steve rubbed the spotted and glared at him. “I’m going to get you.” “No way. The last one to the couch has to bring the other ice cream.” Tony ran laughing with Steve right behind him. “No fair you cheated.”
Tony laid across Steve’s lap asleep. Steve turned off the last movie and looked down at how peaceful his friend looked. Tony was so beautiful when he was sleeping. Steve didn’t want to move him, but his left leg was falling asleep. They really needed to rest. “Hey, Tony ready for bed.” Tony made grabby hands meaning he wanted to be carried. “Fine just this once I will.”
Steve didn’t mind, this meant Tony would be close to him. He picked him up carefully not to jostle the other man in his sleep. Tony wrapped his arms around Steve’s neck and buried his face into his shoulder. Steve looked down and smiled. Steve laid Tony down onto the bed and pulled the covers over him. Steve started to tip toe out of the room trying not to make to much noise. “Hey, where are you going?” “Oh, just going to sleep on the couch.” Tony open the blankets to invite Steve to lay with him. “You sure.” Tony nodded and Steve walked over to the bed. He sat down and slowly took off his shoes and his shirt. He laid down making sure not to bumped into Tony. Tony wrapped his arms around Steve and was fast asleep. Steve looked over and smiled. This was all he ever wanted in life.
Steve looked over at his phone. It was two o’clock in the morning. He was stirred awake when he heard sounds of whimpers. Steve rolled over seeing Tony convulsion in bed. “No, no not you. Don’t touch him take me.” Steve sat up and try to shake Tony, but nothing was working. “Hey, Tony you’re okay.” Tony jumps out of bed and ran into the bathroom. He did not want Steve to see him like this. He did not want to see him weak.
Steve knocked on the bathroom door not wanting to intrude Tony’s privacy. “I’m fine. Go back to bed please.” Tony begged. Steve didn’t like that answer. He opened the door to fine Tony huddled in corner in the shower. He was panting and covered in sweat. Steve got closer and could see the tears in Tony’s eyes. What did this man see to make him this upset? “Tony, I’m not leaving but I will stay right here. Believe it or not I’ve dealt with plenty of these in my lifetime.” Tony looked up at him trying to smile.
“I saw you.” Steve stepped closer. “What was I doing?” Tony looked down not wanting to meet Steve’s baby blues. “You were dying.” A step closer. “Tell me more.” Tony looked up and saw Steve was only a couple of feet away. “You were laying on the ground. Your shield was broken in half. Aliens were falling around us. You told me I could have saved you.” Steve found him self kneeling in front of Tony but trying his hardest not to touch him. Even though he wanted to so badly.
 “Tony, look at me I am right here. Nobody will get the chance to kill me. If I ever die, I want to let you know it will never be your fault.” Tony was in shock, but Steve didn’t see what he saw. “You didn’t see the fear in your eyes Steve. The fear of I had let you down. I couldn’t live with myself if you died because I.” Steve grabbed both of Tony’s hands not letting go. “You what?” “Rogers, you are going to make me say it aren’t you.” Steve giggled to lighten the mood. “I love you Steve.” Steve brought Tony onto his lap and kissed him for several minutes. “Let me show you how much I love you.” Steve stood up not letting go of Tony. Leading them into the room. He laid Tony down slowly onto the bed and planted another kiss then moving down his jaw line to the inside of his neck.
“Do you want to do this?” Steve stop right at the base of Tony’s pants. He feared this may ruin everything they had built. Tony sat up wrapping his legs around Steve’s waist. Leaning in closely and whispered, “I have wanted this ever since I laid my eyes on you the first day we met. So, yes I want this.” Tony slid the other man’s shirt over his head while Steve worked at his pants. Not once breaking for air. “Please don’t stop.”
The sun shone through the curtain slowly waking the two men up. They were embraced into each other arms not wanting to let go ever again. “Good morning darling.” “You look so beautiful in the morning.” Tony just smiled. He never thought he was going to have this chance in is life and definitely not with Steve Rogers. “Are you hungry?” Steve sat up looking around for his discarded pants. They ended up on top of the lamp somehow. “I’m always hungry, for you.” “Tony, stop. Do you want pancakes?”
Tony grabbed Steve’s shirt taking in the smell of Irish soap. “Yeah pancakes sound wonderful.” “I wonder if the rest of the team is up. And I’m not getting that shirt back, am I?” “No, you are not.” As they opened the door they ran into their friends. They saw Bruce and Thor come out of one room together and Clint and Nat come out of the other. “Oh, it looks like everyone swapped rooms.” “Oh shut up Stark we all heard you scream harder Cap all night.” That shut up Tony and Steve’s cheeks turned brighter red then the Iron Man suit. “Well it all looks like we had fun last night lets just agree with that. Do you want pancakes we are making them?” Steve wrapped an arm around Tony never letting go.

Danger Pizza  by alice_in_ink
summary: The window was pushed open, and Iron Man’s head popped into his bedroom.  “Here’s where I’m confused—why lock the front door but leave the fire-escape-accessible windows unlocked?”  He clambered through said window.  “Seems like a safety hazard.”
Peter eyed the metal suit as it straightened to a standing position.  “Did you break into my window to kill me?”
The face plate lifted, and Tony’s eyes quickly looked over the teen.  “Christ, kid.  It looks like you’re halfway there.”
...
A wild night on patrol leaves Peter with a broken back, and boy, does he want to be able to move without dying.  (So he calls Anthony Stark, obviously.)

summary: He knew that, logically, he should tell Tony, because he’d been told off a million times for hiding injuries, because stab wounds were dangerous, because he was fifteen and shouldn’t deal with those things on his own.
But on the other hand, he healed so fast that it would probably be gone by morning, and he really didn’t feel like getting stitched up again. Plus, Tony would lose his mind over it.

“Calling Tony Stark.”
Peter takes a hard kick to the stomach and now he really feels like he’s gonna throw up—he shoots a taser web, hears the guy yell out but then he’s getting kicked again and he can’t see, he can’t see, he has to get out of here—
“Peter?” Tony’s voice asks. “Peter, what’s up?”
“Help me!” Peter yells. “Help me, help, I can’t—this guy sprayed me with something and I can’t see, I can’t see—” He shoots the rapid fire webs and tries to scurry backwards.

“So, have you given the camping trip any more thought?” Ned asks, and he groans internally at the change in subject.
He'd much rather go back to talking about his non-existent love life, thanks.
The trip is during spring break—a four day long trek out into the wilderness, camping and hiking and gathering who even knows what, learning all about nature and the great outdoors.
But the real kicker?
It's an event specifically designed for fathers and their sons, which is something Peter doesn't have, and something he will never be.
Not again.

Second Chances-Chapter 6
Authors Note: Once again some heavy stuff in this chapter. Mentions of eating issues and emotional and mental abuse. Please read with caution.

Chapter 6: Revelations
Sebastian was watching TV relaxing, when Willa finally stirred in the other bed. He had wanted to curl up with her, but didn’t want to risk upsetting her. He also had his girlfriend to think about. He knew he’d fucked up, by rushing to Mina’s side, but he’d been hoping for so long that she’d forgive him. They needed to have a long talk about everything that happened. He had made the decision while Mina was sleeping that he was going to break up with Margarita and beg Willa to take him back or at the very least start over in their friendship.
“Baz?” Willa called out as she slowly shifted in the bed. “I’m here Mina. What do you need?” Sebastian said as Willa opened her eyes and looked over at him. “In my make-up bag there should be some Tylenol and Motrin. Can I have two Motrin and one Tylenol please?”
“Can you take both together?” Sebastian asked as he headed for the bathroom and grabbed her make-up bag. He riffled through it coming up with the two bottles of medicine. “Technically yes, but you really shouldn’t. Right now I don’t care. I hurt and they will help.” Willa said as she pushed herself up to a sitting position groaning as her ribs protested the movement. Sebastian handed her the pills and a glass of water. Willa quickly downed the meds and set the glass of water on the bedside table.
“Are you hungry? We could take-out from the BBQ place or something else?” Sebastian asked as he settled back down on the other bed. Shrugging, Willa made a noncommittal noise. Sighing Sebastian pulled out his phone and pulled up a local pizza place. It was her favorite, as close to New York as she could get around here and ordered a large pepperoni with extra cheese.
“Pizza will be here in about an hour.”
“From Pink Door? You remembered my favorite?”
“Of course. I remember all your favorites. Lilacs and lavender dahlias are your absolute favorite flowers, though you still love red and yellow roses as a close second. You love all genres of music, but 90s grunge is what you listen too when your stressed out or pissed off. Prince is still your favorite artist of all time. I could go on.” Sebastian said as he listed a few of her favorites. Willa laughed. “No stop. I get it. You remember. I still remember all your favorites too.”
“I also know that you still look better in my clothes than I do.” Sebastian said quietly as he looked at the shirt hanging off her frame. She’d lost a good bit of weight from the last time he’d seen her. At 5’8 she wasn’t a tiny person. He’d always loved her curves, but now he was hard pressed to even see any of them with the way she looked now. Even he knew she was starving, whether by choice or force he wasn’t sure.
“Yeah, I realized it was your old shirt after I put it on. I’d honestly forgotten I had it. I haven’t worn it in years. Tony hated Prince. We could only listen to the latest stuff. The newest hits.” Willa said as she pulled the shirt tighter around her frame. It had gotten a lot looser than it used to be on her. Tony used to pick at her weight all the time, though she wasn’t overweight by any stretch of the imagination. Anytime they would sit down to eat, he would ask her if she’d planned on eating all that, or if they were in public he would glare at her if she ate more than half of the food on her plate. Soon it turned to him ordering for her. She wasn’t allowed more than a side salad and water in a restaurant. At home he’d fix her plate and only put a few bites of everything she’d fixed on her plate, while he would fill his.
She was starting to see how badly Tony had her fucked up in the head and knew she would need to get into a therapist to help her sort out and break through his conditioning. She couldn’t believe that she’d allowed him to treat her like this, though looking back even this short time later she could see it was subtle and vicious. She’d been a prime target for him. She knew she was naive to the world in a lot of ways. She’d been sheltered for a lot of her life. She didn’t blame her parents, they had only wanted to protect her.
“Mina hon, you still with me?” Sebastian asked as he watched several different emotions play across her face as she gazed at the wall. Shaking her head Willa looked over at Sebastian. “Yeah I’m still here. Sorry was thinking. I need a therapist.”
“That is a good idea. I know it helps me to talk with mine when I am having trouble. I can call mine tomorrow and see who he would recommend that is taking new patients.”
“Really? Thank you Baz. I appreciate it. So How much longer before pizza is here? Do we have time to go get some beer or wine?” Sebastian checked his watch. “I think we have time to run down to the store. Let me go and I’ll be back in a few minutes.” Willa nodded as she handed him the room key. He pulled his hat down low over his face and and slid on his sunglasses as he left the room. Willa flipped through the channels until she found the history channel. It was showing about Egypt and the Pharaohs. It was the type of program that was good for background noise and you didn’t need to really pay attention to it.
Twenty minutes Sebastian was back with some of her favorite wine and he’d even gotten her a dove chocolate bar. It wasn’t the best chocolate, but it was a guilty pleasure. He really did remember her favorites. He’d grabbed a 6 pack of Heineken for himself. It wasn’t his go too, but it was the best he could find around here. Ten minutes after he’d gotten back their pizza had arrived and they were digging in. Willa took the smallest piece and had taken three small bites, when she claimed she was full.
“Mina hon, I don’t want to overstep, but I’m concerned. You’ve lost a lot of weight since the last time I saw you. Please don’t be afraid to eat. I know you love this pizza. You used to demolish a medium by yourself. I always loved how you weren’t afraid to eat what you wanted and how much. This isn’t you.” Sebastian sighed as he looked at her scared expression.
“I know, but he used to criticize my weight and body. He got into my head. Always told me I wasn’t good enough. Wasn’t thin enough. It will take time to feel like food isn’t being used to control me.” Willa said sadly as she stared at the pizza in front of her. She wanted to eat it, but Tony’s voice was in her head telling her that she was too fat and didn’t need to eat it. She picked up the slice in front of her and took a bigger bite. She wouldn’t allow him to control her anymore.
“Mina you’ve NEVER been fat! You have always been a healthy weight. You’re tall. You naturally need more weight to look healthy. You couldn’t have been more than 150 when we dated if you were even that much.” Sebastian said as he hugged her as tight as he dared, being careful of her ribs.
Willa pulled away from him and shook her head. “I know, but he was a master manipulator Baz. I let him beat me down mentally and it will take a very long time to get through that. I can try to push past it, but I can’t do it alone. I can’t be who I was Baz. Who you are hoping I’ll be. I’m not the girl you walked away from a decade ago. I’ll never be that girl again. I don’t even know all the abuse he put me through mentally and emotionally. This is why we can’t ever be together. I know your hoping for that, but the free-spirited wild child isn’t who I am anymore. I grew up in the past few years. The girl you loved is gone. The woman in front of you now is beaten down and broken. She may never fully recover from this.”
“I’m not hoping for anything, other than your forgiveness. I know I messed up all those years ago and I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness, but I still hope I can have it. I want my friend back. In fact I have a girlfriend. We’ve been together for about a year now. She is in Atlanta waiting for me.” Sebastian said as he tried to hide the hurt of her words. He knew he didn’t deserve her in any way shape or form.
“Baz I forgave you a long time ago. We can try to be friends, but you have to give me time and space. Also I’m glad you have someone. I never wanted you to be sad and lonely. We didn’t work out. We both moved on.” Willa said as she finally finished her pizza and finished her glass of wine. She slipped under the covers of her bed and looked at Sebastian. “We have a busy day tomorrow. Let’s get some sleep. We need to head to Becca and David’s so I can pack a couple bags and then we can head for the airport. Got to get you back to your job and girlfriend.” Willa said as she turned over to face the wall to not show how hearing he had a girlfriend had truly affected her. Even after everything she said to him, she still loved him. She never stopped, but now it was too late. She wasn’t the same girl. He deserved better than a broken shell. So she pushed him away. She broke her own heart to save his.
She would be his friend. That is all she could ask for. He was happy and she wasn’t, but it was for the best. She was a complete mess at the moment. She had just broke off a three year engagement and a five year relationship with an abusive manipulator. She wasn’t ready in any shape or form for another relationship if she would ever be ready for another relationship. She wasn’t about to lead him on or let him twist in the wind waiting for her to be ready.
Sebastian turned out the lights and turned off the TV as she slid into his bed. His heart breaking for the woman in the next bed. He knew she wasn’t the same as she’d been. He thought he was partly to blame for it, but mostly he knew her ex was a complete asshole and he’d love to have a shot at him. He turned to face Willa’s back and closed his eyes wishing she was wrapped up in his arms. If he hadn’t been pressured to walk away from her, he was sure they’d have still been together. He wished with all his heart he could go back in time and change what happened between them.

Would and Will
I went through a phase where I loved the idea of the Avengers going out to party so I have a few that are similar. This one was written not long after Hey Baby. I also wrote smut with this one but I didn’t include it in this copy of the fic.
Background: Noelle and Loki were “Bound” by a witch in Alfheim after a battle they fought in. This means that the witch split each of their souls in half and one half switched places. Noelle has half of Loki’s soul and vise versa. They can feel each others emotions and hear each others thoughts Noelle is also Half Asgardian, half Midgardian. Her father is Tyr and her mother is of Midgard.
Summary: Noelle and Loki go out partying with the Avengers and spend the day in their apartment the day after. They even have a guest.
Warnings: Implied smut, swearing probaby, fluffy fluff fluff.
Would and Will
Noelle POV:
Loki and I are laughing hysterically as we stumble into our room at Stark Tower. He catches my arm before I fall down completely and starts chuckles at the face I make. I slip off my five inch heels and just sit on the floor with my back to the dresser and pull him to sit down with me. He is unbuttoning his shirt as I lay my head on his shoulder.
The Avengers happened to all be off duty at the same time so they decided that we must all go out and spend a little "family time", as Tony called it, together. We found a really cool bar not far from the Tower and decided to go. Loki didn't want to go, he would have preferred to sit at home and be antisocial with his books but Thor and I managed to convince him to come along. All the Avengers met in the lobby and were driven in a limo by Happy to the bar. Of course, Tony had offered to buy out the bar for the night but Pepper told him it would be good if we had some social interaction with people not on the team.
We had a blast. We drank, we danced, we laughed. By the end of the night, Steve and Nat were all over each other and at that point, we decided to take our leave. The car wouldn't start and eventually Nat looked at all of us and says, "Guys, we have saved the world how many times? We can walk the 3 blocks back to the Tower." Then loops her arm through Clint's and starts walking back to the Tower. Now, imagine a group of 12 drunk adults that are famous for their powers walking down the street, hanging all over each other. Wanda is on Vision's back, Steve and Bucky have their arms around each other, Thor has his arms around Bruce and Loki's shoulders while Loki is holding my hand, and Nat and Clint follow Pepperony. Tony and Pepper seem to be the least intoxicated of all of us and are walking arm in arm like the power couple of the century as they lead the way back to Stark Tower. All of us were goofing off and darting around like kids on a field trip and just laughed loudly the whole walk home. The only thing I can say, other than I had more fun with my friends tonight than I have had in a long time, is thank goodness we were walking back at around two in the morning because we were in no shape to deal with people coming up to us and ask for pictures.
Loki nudges me, bringing me back to reality. "Hello? Where did you go?"
"Sorry, sorry. What were you saying?"
"I was thanking you for forcing me to attend. Though I hate to admit it, I had a splendid time."
I grin and curl into his side, "I'm so glad!"
His arms snake around me and pull me onto his lap and I get slightly light headed. He laughs and wraps an arm around my back before I fall over. "I also," he adds in my ear, "thoroughly enjoyed Midgardian dancing."
I blush and giggle nervously. I remember him asking about dancing on Earth when we were on Asgard when I first got there but he never really experienced it, except what he saw in my head.
"I'm happy I got to show you then." I tell him with a teasing smile.
"As much as I adore Asgard, I could definitely grow accustomed to residing here on this planet." He lays his head on top of mine.
"So you think Earth could be your home, then?"
"No," He replies quietly, "I said I could reside here. My home is wherever you are, darling."
My vision gets misty and I kiss his jaw. He turns my head and captures my lips with his. My arms wrap around his neck. My fingers tangle themselves in his hair, pulling him closer, deeper. He lifts me up and carries me to the bed. He never breaks the kiss. He lays me down, climbing on top of me. I push his unbuttoned shirt off his shoulders and toss it to the floor, running my hands over his chiseled chest and arms. His mouth finally moves from mine but never leaves my skin, trailing down my cheek, my ear, my neck, my throat.
"Loki," I sigh quietly in his ear. It only makes him more forceful.
He pulls one strap of my dress down and just as he goes for the zipper there is a knock at the door. He ignores it at first but the knocking becomes more persistent. He groans, letting his head fall on my shoulder before standing and takes a deep breath before opening the door.
"Brother! I have found you! Why have you snuck away? You are supposed to be in the glass box thing because you tried to kill New York." At this point I can't help but laugh at Thor's drunken state and I can see Loki is trying to keep it together. I stand up and walk over to Thor. But before I could say anything, "LADY NOELLE! When did you get here?! Has Loki kidnapped you? For shame, Brother!"
Loki just loses his cool in every sense of the term. He has to sit down on the floor so he doesn't fall over while poor humongous Thor looks very confused indeed.
"Thor, why don't we take a walk? We can catch up a bit before I see the Avengers tomorrow."
His face changes from confusion to childish delight and he offers me his arm. I take it and escort him to his room, explaining that I have been an Avenger, along with Loki, for a while now. He starts tearing up because of how proud he is of his brother. When we finally reach his room, I put him to bed the way I have seen his mother do when he was a child through memories of her and walk out, turning off the lights. He is snoring before I close the door.
I shut the door to Thor's room but before I could turn around, I feel an arm around my waist and a hand over my mouth so I don't scream. My body tenses and I start to try and escape the person's grasp.
"Don't scream, it's me." Loki whispers in my ear. I calm a bit in his grip and he moves his hand from my mouth down my body, ending at my hip.
"Don't relax, too much, darling. I'm not done with you yet." He growls in my ear. I turn around in his arms and pull his face to mine.
'Jump.' He whispers into my mind. I do as I'm told and wrap my legs around his waist. He walks us back to our room and locks the door behind him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Loki POV:
The sun is streaming into the room when I awaken. I slowly become aware of my body and the pain thundering through my head, then the little body next to me, breathing lightly.
I roll onto my side and pull her into my chest, burying my face in her hair. She makes a small sound and cuddles into me, pulling my arm tighter around her. I smile and start to go back to sleep when someone knocks on the door.
Loudly.
So much for that plan.
The knocking makes Noelle stir and groan. I put a hand on her waist to still her before getting up to address the knocking. Pulling on my pants, I make my way to the door. Upon opening it, I see the blonde-haired buffoon of a brother standing before me.
I roll my eyes at him, shutting the door. Before I can get it all the way closed, Thor wedges his foot into the open space and forces his way in with loud, boisterous laughter. I shush him but it's no use. The man has no volume control.
I hear Noelle move in the bed and turn to see her open her eyes. The light in the room must have made the headache that I can feel she has worse because she moans, swears and turns her face into the pillow. Looking back at Thor, I notice the blush on his face as he saw the state she was in. In most relationships a man has with his brother, if the man were to walk in to find a naked woman in his brother's bed, he would congratulate him.
Unless this man sees the woman in his brother's bed as a sister. Then it is more amusing for said brother to watch the man embarrass himself.
I chuckle at the face he makes. "Have you learned your lesson on barging into someone's room unannounced?" I ask him softly. He nods but stays put, not picking up on my hint to take his leave.
"My apologies, Brother. I came to collect you both for breakfast but it seems as though you will be skipping it."
"Thor, sweetie, if you don't shut the hell up I will punch you in the throat." Noelle's muffled voice says from the bed. I laugh and immediately regret it because of the glare I receive. Thor shuts his mouth and leaves the room as I crawl back over to Noelle.
"How are you feeling, darling?" I whisper as quietly as I can.
"Shhh, that was way too loud. You're practically screaming." She says covering my mouth with one hand and putting the other to her temple, shutting her eyes.
I contain another laugh and pull her to me, laying my hand on her head where her hand was before. I hear her sigh in relief and I know the spell is working. I smile at her and stroke her silky hair.
We must have fallen asleep again because the next time I open my eyes, she is gone. When she walks back in she is in my button up from last night and a pair of sleep shorts. She has two plates in one hand, and two containers of water in the other. Seeing me awake, she kisses me and hands me a plate along with the oddly shaped water container. I look at the plate and am delighted to find my favorite Midgardian food: pizza.
"Good morning, dove." I say to her as she climbs back into the bed beside me as I sit up to take the food and drink.
"I think you mean afternoon. It's nearly one in the afternoon." She giggles then winces slightly.
"Still have a headache, then?" I ask her, moving some hair out of her eyes.
"It isn't as bad as it was this morning. I need to eat before I decide whether or not to take something for the pain. What about you?" She asks, reaching over the bedside table to retrieve what she calls the remote for the Television, "Are you as hungover as the rest of us?"
I chuckle and shake my head, "I may have been a bit ill this morning but I recovered quickly."
She rolls her eyes playfully and I pull her into my side. I drape one arm around her shoulders and she curls into my side. She turns on a show about a man in New Jersey who makes cakes that look like things. She seems happy so I am glad to watch it with her.
Her little device that she keeps trying to talk me into getting begins to buzz. She picks it up to look at it and smiles. She shows me that she received a message from Steve that is an image of his lover, Bucky. In this image, Bucky is laying halfway off the leather sofa in the living room of the Tower. His legs are on the sofa but the majority of his body is halfway off of it, his dark locks spilling about him on the floor. He looks to be asleep. It is a rather funny image for the normally brooding man.
The little thing makes a noise again and she reads the message she received from the Spiderling.
"Peter would like to come hang out with us, if you are alright with that. Tony isn't here to entertain him and though he loves the others, it's hard for him to be around them without fangirling too much."
"I only understood about a third of what you said but I do know that I rather like the little Spiderling. He may come in here if he wishes but I do request that you put on some clothes." I tell her as I glance down at her bare legs. The shorts barely go down passed her arse. I am the only one allowed to see that and I would like to keep it that way. Noelle chuckles at my thought but stands up and finds some pants, muttering, "So possessive." Under her breath.
Before I realize what I did, I am right behind her and snake my arms around her waist, earning a squeal of surprise from her. "I am possessive;" I breathe in her ear, "I was never one to share." I kiss her neck right under her ear. She reaches up behind her and runs her fingers through my hair, sighing. This only makes the fire flare up more.
Before I can do anything else, she pulls away and puts some clothing on. Just as she finishes with her jeans, the little Spiderling walks in. He knocks first but doesn't wait for an answer. I suppose he could hear what was happening with his Peter-Tingle or whatever his Aunt and the Avengers have taken to calling it.
"Hi, Pete. You bored with Steve and Bucky?" She wraps her arm around his shoulders in a side hug. He puts his head on her shoulder and arm around her torso, hugging back. It looks a bit funny because he has to bend down because of her height. He certainly isn't tall in any sense in the word but she isn't either.
"No, they just aren't as fun as you and-" he stops suddenly as we make eye contact, "MR. LOKI!" he shouts, causing Noelle to wince as he jumps away from her side as though she had electrocuted him. I smirk at him as I read what had caused him to panic. He thought I would become jealous of him touching My Noelle. Silly boy.
"Hello, Little Spiderling. How are you? Feeling a bit guilty, are we?" I do my best to keep from laughing at the shade of red his face turns.
"He's kidding, Peter. Ignore him." I look at Noelle, who knows what I am doing, as usual, and has an eyebrow raised at me. She is very protective of the boy. Understandably so considering all that he has been through for a child of his age.
Peter Parker glances at me skeptically before returning to Noelle's side, slightly behind her this time, I notice. Noelle giggles and drags him to the sofa in our room that is not far from the bed. She sits next to the boy in a way that made him feel protected but also invites me to sit beside her.
With a snap of my fingers, I have a dark green t-shirt on top of the black sleep pants Noelle had bought me for situations like the one we were in this morning. I make my way over to the seat and pull her into my side as she flicks through the shows and argues with Peter on what they should watch. They eventually settle on a show I have never seen before. Probably for good reason, too. It is called Once Upon A Time. It seems that Noelle has a bit of a crush on one of the characters: a pirate by the name of Captain Hook or Killian Jones as the blonde lead calls him.
The show is interesting enough, full of magic and mystery and adventure. Nothing compared to the books I read but very good considering it's Midgardian origin.
By the time the fifth season of the show is over, Noelle has fallen asleep with her back to my chest, face turned into my neck, and Peter Parker sleeps with his head in her lap. I decide to let Peter sleep there and create an illusion of Noelle and myself so as to not disturb his slumber until I get Noelle situated. I lift her easily into my arms and her arms instinctively snake around my neck. I lay her down in the bed and cover her with the green sheets before returning to the boy.
I am rather skilled in moving sleeping people, considering I have moved Noelle as she slumbers often, so he does not awake as I rearrange him so he may be more comfortable and cover him with the blanket Noelle keeps on the back of the sofa. I send a message to the Avengers to tell them where he is so they do not panic at not finding him in his room. As soon as I am sure Peter is comfortable and sound asleep, I return to my own bed, where Noelle has awoken and is sitting there, watching me care for the child.
I spot her grinning at me and crawl over to her, casting a silencing spell around the bed as I do, so our talking does not wake Peter.
"Why did you not make it known to me that you were awake?" I whisper, though I know that it does not matter how loud I am. The spell is strong enough to cover screams.
"I wanted to watch you be a mom without disturbing you." She giggles and pulls herself across the bed to reach me. She doesn't need to work that hard. As soon as she is close enough, I wrap my arms around her waist and drag her to me. We sit together like that for a moment before what she called me registers fully.
"Darling, did you call me a mom?" I ask, smiling down at her.
"I did," she laughs, "that's what you were just doing. You were moming the 'Little Spiderling.'"
"I was not aware that caring for youth was considered parenting in this Realm."
She smirks, "What you just did was more than caring for him. You sat there to make sure he was asleep and rubbed his hair as you walked away."
I was not aware that I did that. I think about it for a moment. It is not as though I do not know how to parent a child. I had a son before but he never grew to be Peter's age. I do miss him everyday.
"You miss being a dad. It's understandable, Loki. It's a terrible thing to lose a child, especially the way you lost Nari." The sound of his name coming from Noelle's voice calms my raging mind. I turn my head and kiss her. She is cautious but eventually gives in. I lay down, pulling her on top of me. She pulls away for air and rests her head on my chest, her hand over my heart. I play with her fingers with one hand and draw patterns on her back with the other. She smiles slightly and I feel love course through our connection.
"Would you marry me?" I say softly.
She stops moving for a moment before replying.
"Yes."
I grin. I feel her confusion through the connection. She thinks that was a very uncharacteristic way for me to prop- "Darling, do you think so little of me to believe that was a proposal?"
She looks up at me with a raised eyebrow. "Is that not what that was?"
I chuckle, "I asked if you would marry me, not will you marry me. There is a difference."
"You cannot be serious." She laughs.
I give her a serious look, "Dead serious." She giggles, I pull her tighter into my side, "Believe me, Love. When I propose to you, you will know." I kiss her forehead and feel the joy and adoration vibrate through her to me.
I begin humming and she falls asleep quickly. I follow soon behind her, hearing her slow steady breathing, feeling at home.
12 Days of Pepperony Smut-Mas
Tumblr media
In honor of the festive season, I am aiming to post 12 smutty Pepperony fics over the course of the next 12 days! If you’ve got any requests, please feel free to send them my way, but I’ve got 4 fics done and some tentative themes for the rest picked out already.
Day 1 - First Time
Rating: Explicit
Words: 2714
Summary: Tony & Pepper’s first time. They’re only slightly awkward about it.
Read it on AO3! (And comment. I love comments plz.)
Or read it here...
It didn’t happen the night after the Expo attack. Yes, they’d kissed. And yes, they’d gone back to Tony’s apartment in Manhattan holding hands, but they didn't leave the Expo site until nearly 5AM. The Sun was up when they collapsed onto Tony’s bed and both of them fell asleep almost immediately. So no, it didn’t happen then.
It didn’t happen the next night either.
Or the night after that.
So by night number 4, Tony was starting to feel pretty anxious about the whole thing, especially since he hadn’t seen her all day.
Pepper had gone to the New York SI Headquarters while Tony was at the Expo site helping with clean-up, and when he got home she was nowhere to be found. He grabbed a beer and plopped down at the breakfast bar in the kitchen, trying to figure out what exactly it was that he and Pepper were doing. No, they hadn’t had sex yet. But they also hadn’t kissed again either, let alone discuss the kisses that had happened. All they’d really done was work a lot and fall asleep next to each other.
A date! They should go on a date. It wasn’t that late, and he was fairly certain that he could get them a reservation at Pepper’s favorite sushi restaurant. He was Tony Stark, after all. He pulled out his phone to start dialing when he heard the elevator ding, signaling Pepper’s arrival. He looked up at her and gave her a big smile.
“Tony, I think we should have sex.” Pepper declared, walking with purpose towards him.
Tony just raised his eyebrows and cocked his head, unsure of how to respond to that.
“I’m not messing around, Stark. Bedroom. Now.” She said, walking right past him.
“Yes ma’am.” He replied, standing up and following after her. Sushi could wait. He paused when entering the bedroom though, noticing that her hands were shaking as she fussed with her belt.
“Pep? Are you sure about this? We don’t ha-”
“Yes.” Pepper answered, cutting him off. “We do. Right now. I just. I think we need to rip this band-aid off and just do it. I know it’ll probably be bad-”
“Pffft.” Tony just huffed at the mere suggestion that it wouldn’t be good, but Pepper just kept on going.
“-but we just need to do it. So that it’ll stop being weird. Because it’s been weird, right? That we haven’t? Is it weird? We should have done it the first night. It’s just that we’ve known each other for so long and I have no idea what we’re doing but-”
Tony could tell that she was starting to freak out so he stepped forward and gently put his hands on her wrists before leaning in and pressing a kiss to her forehead. “Pepper? Breathe.” He said, rubbing circles onto the backs of her hands with his thumbs. “We don’t have to right now. We can go to dinner, or we can order something in and just hang out. It’s ok. No pressure, all right?”
Pepper locked eyes with him, took a deep breath and smiled. “God, I love you.” She said quietly, making Tony’s heart flutter. It was the first time she’d said those words out loud. “And I still think we should have sex. And then get food. And then maybe have sex again? Depending on how this all goes.”
“It’s going to be great.” Tony assured her, letting go of her wrists and resting his hands on her hips.
“You seem awfully sure of yourself, Stark.” She teased, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head against his chest.
“Hey, sex is one of like 3 things I’m good at. Anything I need to know before we get started?”
Pepper chuckled. “Like what? I don’t have a tail or anything.”
“Good to know, good to know. No just...you know, things you like, things you don’t like?” He asked, pulling her flush against his body. His cock was starting to stir, being this close to her and realizing that this was actually going to happen.
Pepper flushed a bit at his question, burying her face in the nape of his neck. “Oh. Uh. Normal stuff, I guess. I like normal stuff.”
“Normal stuff. Good, I can do normal stuff.”
“I mean. Not just normal stuff. Not like...boring stuff. There’s definitely some not super normal stuff that I like too. I’m not a prude or anything I just...normal stuff right now?”
“I like normal stuff. We’ve got all the time in the world to figure out the not normal stuff.”
Pepper pulled away from him and took a deep breath. They were both frozen, staring at each other. Tony’s heart was pounding, and it felt like an eternity had passed as they both stood there, unsure of what to do next. It was Pepper who finally made a move, grabbing Tony’s t-shirt and pulling him in for a kiss.The kisses started slow, like they were both still trying to figure each other out, but they soon grew faster and deeper. Tony’s hands ran up Pepper’s back and tangled in her hair as he started walking backwards, leading her towards the bed. When the backs of his knees ran into the mattress, Pepper pulled away from him and gently pushed him down onto the bed. He propped himself up on his elbows and gave her a huge smile.
Pepper bit her lip as she reached around and started undoing the zipper of her dress while kicking her shoes aside. The dress soon fell to the floor, revealing that she was wearing a simple pair of blue briefs and a white camisole over a purple bra, which Tony found so incredibly hot. He couldn’t help but stare at her breasts as she continued to strip.
“You’re still wearing an awful lot of clothing.” She teased, taking a step forward and placing her hands on his shoulders.
“You are so right.” He replied before frantically kicking off his own shoes and socks and ripping his t-shirt off. They started to kiss again as Tony fumbled with his belt and the button on his jeans, but with a bit of maneuvering they were soon left wearing nothing but their underwear. As they continued to kiss she ran a hand down his chest, over his stomach, and eventually to the growing bulge inside of his dark red boxer briefs.
“Not yet.” He breathed out against her lips as he pulled away from her. He noticed a look of concern on her face, but he just gave her a big smile. “I’ve always adhered to the policy that ladies come first.” With a grin he crawled out from underneath her and flipped her around so that she was on her back below him. Never taking her eyes off of him, she scooted back so that she was leaning against the pillows, Tony following right behind.
“Well, then get to it.” She said seductively, letting her legs fall open.
After a few more moments of just staring up at her, he finally turned his focus back to the task before him. He hooked his fingers underneath the waistband of her underwear and yanked them down, revealing a small, well-trimmed patch of ginger curls. After tossing the garment aside, Tony settled down between her legs, wrapping an arm around her thigh. He dragged his free hand gently down over her stomach and to her core, dipping a finger between her folds before dragging it up to circle around her clit.
“Fuck, Tony.” She moaned out, closing her eyes.
She was already so wet, the sight of which sent a jolt of desire through his body. “You’ve been thinking about this for a while, haven’t you?” He teased.
“Mmhmm.”
Tony didn’t want to go too fast, but didn’t want to drag it out too much either. When she seemed like she was ready for more he slid two fingers inside of her, working them in and out slowly while continuing to rub her clit with his thumb.
“Oh god.”
“You like this?” He asked, even though it was quite clear that she did.
“Ye - ah!” She gasped out as Tony twisted his fingers a bit.
“Good.” He said before starting to press kisses to the soft skin of her inner thigh.
As he continued to thrust his fingers in and out of her, she wrapped her legs around him, digging her heels into his back every time his fingers hit a particularly sensitive spot. He soon began to trail his kisses up, eventually swapping out his thumb for his tongue. He dragged his tongue over her clit in long, deliberate strokes while continuing to twist and thrust his fingers in and out of her. She was letting out little moans with every movement as she tangled her fingers in his hair, holding him in place as she started to rock back against him.
“Tony fu - faster, please. More.” Was all she managed to get out between her cries.
He picked up the pace of his fingers as he changed tactics with his tongue, rolling and sucking at her clit as fast as he could. He could tell that she was getting close as he felt her toes curling against his back, and he suddenly became very aware of his own arousal as he felt his cock straining against his boxers. He began to roll his hips a bit against the bed, desperate for some friction as Pepper squirmed beneath him. With one final twist of his fingers Pepper came with a loud cry, digging her fingers into his scalp as she went rigid below him.Tony pulled his mouth away from her so that he could watch her ride out her orgasm, but kept his fingers moving in and out of her slowly while she came back down to earth.
As she relaxed against the pillows Tony finally let his fingers slip out and he pushed himself up to look at her properly. He brought the fingers he’d been using to fuck her up to his lips, sucking them clean of her juices before crawling up and leaning over the top of her. “That was good, right?.” He teased, giving her a smirk.
“God, you’re gonna be the death of me. Yes, it was good. Very very good.” She panted out, rolling her eyes playfully.
“Told ya so! And it’ll only get better.” He said, leaning down to give her a kiss.
She ran a hand down over his back, dipping them under the waistband of his boxers and cupping his ass, giving it a squeeze. “Your ass is a work of art.” She sighed out between kisses before sneaking her hand around to the front. She cupped his balls for a moment before wrapping her fingers around his very hard cock, stroking it slowly. “Let’s get you out of these boxers.”
“Good plan. Best plan ever.” Tony replied a little frantically, excited about what was coming next. He helped her pull his boxers down and then kicked them to the side, finally releasing his cock. He closed his eyes and bit his bottom lip while she stroked him, her warm, delicate touch making him so eager for more. “Hold on.”
He crawled away from her and fished around in the drawer of his bedside table for a moment before producing a condom. He leaned back onto his heels, ripped the package open with his teeth and then slid it onto his cock. With that sorted, he leaned back down and gave Pepper another kiss.
“You ready?” He asked, certain that she was but still wanting to make sure.
“Yeah.” She said, spreading her legs open and resting her arms on either side of his neck.
He grabbed his cock and lined himself up, pushing into her slowly. He let out a soft moan as he buried himself inside of her, and he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t been picturing this moment for years. As he bottomed out, he held still for just a moment, taking it all in. Her cheeks were flushed as she gave him a soft smile, which he knew was something he’d never tire of seeing. As he began to roll his hips, he was able to thrust in and out of her with ease, and he could already feel the pressure starting to mount in his stomach. He knew that he wasn’t going to last very long, the anticipation of this moment almost enough to push him over the edge on its own. He gave her one more quick kiss before dropping his head and getting down to business, desperately chasing his own release.
“Fuck Tony, you feel so good. So good.” Pepper panted out as Tony picked up the pace.
“So do you you - ah!” He moaned out. “You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this. Fuck.”
They fell silent for a while, but the room was filled with the sound if skin slapping against skin. She wrapped her legs around him, urging him on as he started snapping his hips faster and faster. Soon he was absolutely railing her, fucking her hard and fast against the bed, both of them moaning with every thrust. They had 10 years of sexual tension to work though, and this was only the beginning.
“Oh god, I’m gonna cum. I’m gonna…” He trailed off as he squeezed his eyes shut. With a few more thrusts he came, moaning out her name as his thrusts slowed down and his legs and arms turned to jelly.
Pepper just wrapped her arms around him, pressing kisses to his head while he caught his breath, his heart pounding. He stopped moving completely, letting the aftershocks roll through him before he gave in, slipping out of her and collapsing next to her, falling onto his back.
“Well. Fuck.” Tony managed to say while taking the condom off. He tied it up and tossed it across the room, not really caring where it landed.
It seemed like neither one of them was quite sure what to say now that it was done. Tony had never been much of a post-sex cuddler, but he kind of just wanted to pull her on top of him and wrap his arms around her. He didn’t though, not sure if that was too much too quickly. Everything was so new, and he was terrified of doing anything that could mess this up.
“Guess we uh...ripped the band-aid off.” Pepper said with a chuckle as she sat up, breaking the silence.
“Best band-aid ripping off ever. And I’ve had to rip a lot of band-aids off.”
Pepper just nodded, running her hands through her hair. “Dinner?”
“Uh, sure! Yeah. I’m starving.” Tony answered as he sat up. “Sushi?”
“Sounds good.”
“Great!” Tony smiled as Pepper stood up and started gathering her clothes. He wasn’t sure what came over him, but he just needed to tell her. “Um? Pepper? I...I love you too, by the way. I should have said that earlier. But I do love you. Just so you know. I just...wanted to say it out.”
Pepper flushed, turning away from him to hide her embarrassment, which just made Tony fall in love with her even more. He stood up and walked over to her and gave her a kiss on her cheek. “Come on. Let’s go order dinner. We’re gonna need our strength for later.”
“We really need to talk about all of this, Tony.”
“I know. Can we do it tomorrow? Can we just...have tonight?”
She sighed, seemingly glad about postponing the discussion for another day. “Yeah, of course. Let’s go get dressed.”
“Aw, do we gotta? I really like seeing you naked.”
“At least put a robe on to greet the delivery guy.” She laughed, tossing her clothes back at him.
“Done. Otherwise I hereby declare this naked Wednesday. It is Wednesday, right?”
Pepper just shook her head. “I’ll be right out. Go find a menu.” She called out before disappearing into the bathroom.
Tony had no idea what was going to happen between the two of them, but he was very much looking forward to finding out.
