Miraculous Ladybug au,,, very Adrien heavy.

Adrien actually hates modeling and his father forcing him to model, he never liked it. until plagg though he finally got the courage to rebel by hair dye (from black to neon green and in his suit it's black with whatever color hair his civilian form has)

Adrien is a little shit in civilians but even worse as Cat (mainly hawkmoth reminds of his dad,,, I wonder why)

Gabriel is a little bitch, not trying to be a father more but will ground his son for making him look bad even tho the media loves his wacky colored hair and street wear.

He father's the brand more

Adrien was a loner until he went from high end private school to public school as a "punishment" (just making the brand look good having a kid from the one % be with "commoners") and he met Marinette, nino, alya and Luka

Luka def showed him the world of painted finger nails and Adrien hasn't looked back

He's also a trans man and gay, he came out feeling safe because Gabriel doesn't care and will do anything to look like he supports for the brand

Gabriel Really love his brand

Marinette is not a stalker, very normal. (I don't care about her being a teen girl excuse it's still creepy...)

CHLOE GETS HER REDEMPTION ARC HOLY SHIT

Adrien and nino bond with the hate of Gabriel, sometimes Luka joins in and nino hate their shitty dads

Adrien's mom is like dead dead, and Adrien and Félix are still Feathers, just peacock miraculous just kills people no more of this baby shit we're a magical girl show people die in these shows

Gabriel is crazier and trying to kill Ladybug and Chat noir for their miraculous

Also, added to this the wish that Gabriel wants granted would not let him enjoy having his wife back because to give life, life has to take one and so Gabriel will die and future hawkmoth will rise hooray and boo (also wifey pissed he neglected their son)

Adrien is traumatized his father is hawkmoth... But also not surprised

Adrien and Félix are traumatized by being feathers, and have an actual crisis that the team help with

After miracle queen the main team knows each other secret identity, no more secrets and since then they work so much better.

Nino with Adrien, Alya is with Marinette, Luka with Felix (I love Adrien and Marinette together and nino and Ayla, fuck it polycule)

We have consistency holy shit I didn't know why that's not CANON 🤣

They got scars y'all, scars! I don't care about miraculous Ladybug can get rid of it, they're having scars!

Marinette actually helping Adrien find his love for fashion again, no modeling tho unless it's her designs

Adrien and Marinette are little shits together, Luka is holding their leash Bec nino is joining in and Alya can be kissed to let them go feral so poor Luka out here holding the four idiots, Felix, and Chloe someone please pay him he's tired

Chloe enter the chat with mommy issues

Lila is still a bitch but laying low (probably my thoughts on a new hawkmoth)

Lastly what I got is Adrien ran away from home for a bit after finding out what he is and who his father was and we're not having a "this could happen in the future" bs, man's freaking out and all of Paris is try to find him but Marinette finds him and they talk Bec Mari and him are tight tight

I kinda had the opposite reaction when watching the trailer. i liked that Marinette was super insecure when she started, kinda wish she grew into the role of being more confident with time and hopefully the movie reflects that. Also, Adrien calling Marinette Strange didn't come off to me as hurtful but more as an observation, if he's gunna be more of a little menace I'll take it. Cocky cat noir is perfect for Season 1. I don't know I'm just super excited, I really liked that they called Cat Noir the 2nd Guardian that's cool and Hawkmoth has so many villains as well. Really hyped about the Movie!

i think the common ground here is that we both saw from the trailer that this is a different interpretation of the characters. some people will prefer the movie characterization and some people will be loyal to the show and some people will end up liking bits and pieces of both.

i don’t want to harsh anyone’s buzz on the movie and honestly i will sit through almost anything for that ladynoir theatre moon scene i am absolutely feral for that imagery 🌙

so it’s great that you’re excited and i hope it lives up to your expectations! i will just be going into it with more reservations than you but i hope i end up pleasantly surprised as well and the characterization is more three dimensional than the quippy one liners of the trailers suggest

Here’s the au for the poor people that see this (Miraculous Ladybug)

Nearly noir

So like while in a battle noir ends up launched off of a building

And he was like stunned or something

By the face of the Akumatized villain and all that

So he dies.

Bozo

But he’s not dead

Plagg is there and he says that Adrien is almost alive

But that he isn’t really

Reason: so while Cat was falling ladybug deakumatized the villan and did the lucky Charm thing but he hit the ground as soon as it happened

Plagg tried to fix it but he’s like destruction or whatever so Tikki finds out through like senses or wherever and dips to go help they have to make a trade and he’s kind of alive, but scarred and can’t see properly you know

cat can only see in black and white now

Not slay

The new color blindness messes with his class assignments and his missions

Adrien did continue to live his life as he would have

So he’s still cat Noir cause cat noir can change his appearance

But he can’t when he’s normal

Now Adrien had tried just putting on makeup

But it all washed off eventually and would look odd

There was a slightly different texture to the skin that let hair grow but messed with the makeup

Plagg had tried to help and cheered him up a bit while doing so

But it just hadn’t worked out

So no more

He “died” with his ring still on so he’s like kinda linked to the ring

This one time Ladybug asks if she can borrow the ring and he goes all feral as soon as it happens

But eventually too many people asked if they could see him; Natalie, Gabriel, Marinette, Nino, Luka, etc.

So he has to find a way out of it, tell everyone what happened (revealing the Kwami’s and his identity)

So he gets Felix to help him

And he pretty much just goes places for him, Adrien not too far behind, a little radio in their ears

He tells him what to do and he does so in exchange for different little things, cause honestly he’s just there to help

Cat Noir always appears first now

Normally sticking to lower areas

Using one of the only colors he can see to his advantage

The shadows

Once or twice someone would bonk him on the side of his head where it umm cracked

And he would go off balance or whatever

Or they would be a color in an environment that he couldn’t see well

Then Ladybug would step in

Ladybug asked what happened a couple times to Cat and Tikki

He would always shrug it off and just say he got a good knock on his noggin or some cat pun “I landed on my feet, purr usual.”

And Tikki would just say that she shouldn’t say

Of course she’s not sure if the two things are related

Cat did disappear after that fall after all

But she is going to leave it up to them to explain when they need

Adrien never had a good home life, but honestly it was better than what he had after The Fall

He was stuck in his room having Felix hide him away from various different things

He had found a little hide away further from his house in an abandoned little building, not entirely abandoned due to him convincing Gabriel to purchase it

He kinda just told him that he wanted to do something with it someday, and that he didn’t want it to get bought while he was waiting

Gabe Just agreed cause he at least kinda cares about his son and he hadn’t seen his face in about 3 days

Noir has nightmares about what he may look like

Of course he’s seen it

He’s looked in the mirror, it was one of the first things he did after seeing the Kwami’s

But like him right after The Fall he sees himself as he was, what he looks like now, and just his friends/families faces if they ever saw

Eventually Noir Just gets tipped over the edge; the eyes, the not being able to go home, the way that no one realized it wasn’t really him there, the well everything

That face

So Hawkmoth finds him

And akumatizes him

He turns into a large, very mournful, panther thing

Fangs protruding out of its face, a large and very painful looking scar stretching across its face, one eye that is completely colorless and the other that is green, he’s purple and green over all

His thing is just a very pained yell and making anyone he touches see in black and white

He can talk but it’s very staticky and pained

Plagg isn’t there lol bozo

So Marinara is like, “hmmmm I wonder what’s been going on with Cat.”

And then a loud angry and sad yell comes from further away

Then she’s like “TIKKI SPOTS ON!!!!”

With no one hearing her

And she zips out there to see that, unlike what has been going on for about two months now

Cat isn’t there

And yet this thing is

Weird…………..

So like she has a really hard time beating it cause it’s almost night time and it lands a hit on her

This winds up with her pretty much just listening for the creature

She gets a good bonk on its noggin and it just starts screeching like loudly

She eventually finds the Akuma in a small key and chain

This is the key to Noir’s house

Our boy pretty much just collapses

And Ladybug is like????

And she asks what happened and he’s not waking up

Tikki appears and they put him away from Marinette so he can transform and Plagg can help

Not before Ladybug sees the large discolored and jagged mark on his head

Plagg and Tikki look at him like “wtf do we do now.”

So they get Adrien to wake up eventually and they get him to explain what happened

He tells her that he can’t go back to being who he was, he can’t cover what she saw in civilian form

Only as Cat

Then she asked what the eye thing was about

And he tells her that after The Fall and after the Kwami’s help that he couldn’t see color

Ladybug is of course horrified and asks if he’s ok to transform back

Of course she didn’t get to hear everything she could never know

He says yes and she gives him a hug

She promises that she’ll help him any way she can

Of course this does nothing

He’s not going to tell her anything because he cant

This is not a slay day

Because she has seen him with the huge scar

Even if he gained the confidence to walk in daylight with it she would probably see, SOMEONE would see

He can’t do anything with this newfound revolution

If anything it’s worse

Ladybug shelters him now

He’s always hidden behind her or some other hero

The villains see this

They target him which only leads to her protecting him more

He points this out to her and they get in an argument

Because she thinks it’s her fault this happened

If she had only been quicker

If she had realized sooner

If she had tried to catch him rather than getting caught up with the villain

He doesn’t remember much from that day

How could he?

He died

But he does remember the face and falling

He knows it can’t be her fault

Because it was no one’s fault in the long run

He tells her that he was reckless and should have known better

There was no way for her to know what was happening

She says that he’s doing it too

Blaming himself

He brushes it off for now and they hug again

The battles go pretty much the same now

With Hawkmoth no longer seeing an opening with Ladybugs sheltering of Cat being gone

Though…

Marinette begins to become suspicious of Felix

She doesn’t tell anyone but documents some of the pauses in between sentences and the way that he never really goes to school any more

Usually sticking to only friend outings and things like that

Going to school virtually

Often only doing phone calls

It was weird to say the least

So Ladybug voices these problems to Cat

Saying that one of Adriens friends thinks he’s been acting strange

Of course Cat tenses

Ladybug just kind of assumes that they are close friends or something

Cat blames it on the fact that his mothers birthday is coming up

Ladybug feels bad now and asks if she can tell Adriens friend that

Cat says yes

She’s off the scent for now

But they’ll have to get more clever

He talks with Felix about what to do if it ever happened again

He just says to tell her

He doesn’t know why Adrien can’t

He’s not going to tell him

Felix of course had been going home when the others weren’t asking Adrien to hang out

They couldn’t just send him to school as Adrien

So for now they just had to hope that Mari never got suspicious again

By now Cat was separating each part of himself

There was Adrien the model that was just a cinnamon roll

he could never fill that role now

Felix did it for him

There was Cat Noir

His one chance to be free from the scar

His father and whatever he didn’t want to worry about

His escape

And then there was him

What even was he

Just some kid living alone making someone else fill in for him

As someone he will never know again

With some funky cat thing

And a huge scar

They are just different people now

So far removed from each other that they can’t have ever been the same person at some point

Right?

Artist Spotlight: Riley

The Miraculous Fanworks Discord server is introducing the creator spotlight! Each month, one artist and one writer from the server will have their accounts and content promoted on our social media accounts. This month's artist of the month is Riley! See the writer of the month post here! Riley is a fantastic artist! He's constantly posting various content with his unique art style. From animation clips, to fanworks, to comics, his works are always fun and exciting! We've interviewed Riley, asking him questions about his artworks, fanworks, and advice for other artists.

1. How long have you been drawing in general?

About nine to ten years! I began drawing back in middle school with animals from book series I was into at the time, and then just kept going and going until I had a pretty wide range of things I could do.

2. How long have you been creating for the fandom, and what's your favorite part of the process?

Not very long at all! I’ve had a few drawings and even an animatic that never saw the light of day in 2019-2020, but it isn’t until this past August that I began to make things actively for the Miraculous Ladybug fandom, whether it’s funny comics, random drawings, or animatics. My favourite thing is honestly reading reactions to art posted; it’s so fun to see what people comment. I know that when I see a keysmash I’ve done something right. My favourite thing to make though is definitely animatics/AMVs! Time-consuming as they are- I have one set for release in late December in the works right now, actually! It’s kinda funny it took me so long to begin drawing for ML since I’ve been watching it since 2015!

3. Has there been anything in particular that influences your style?

I’ve always loved Glen Keane’s character sheets, how expressions look and work, and trying to exaggerate certain things to help beat same face syndrome. I can’t really say I bank off of just him, though; the style I’ve developed has been the result of transitioning from drawing just cats to people back in 2017, and finding something comfortable! The funniest comment I’ve ever gotten on my art style said it was feral and I don’t think I’ve stopped cackling since.

4. Do you have any advice you'd like to give to other creators?

Don’t put the value of your work on how others respond to it! I’m in art school currently, and the thing they hammered into us on day one of my program was never to take a response to your work personally. You should love to create and love what you do create. I try to put a little love into everything I make, even if it’s something big and fancy for a class or something quick and silly for the internet!

5. How do you think the identity reveal is going to go? Feel free to draw something quick if you want to!

I… honestly have zero clue, but I know I do want it to be Ladybug who is revealed first! Maybe it’s all the angst I’ve read in the past month but a reveal in a really tense, dramatic moment? Like, I dunno, an akumatized Marinette- final boss, amiright? That has a special spot in my heart. Dunno if canon will ever have that, though, but a dude can dream!

In your pack au it says that the Fam know about everything since the pack thought that it would be easier this way instead of having to explain everything later, but what about the other superheros? What would happen if on a mission Damian is captured or hurt and the other heros/JL/Teen Titans members are panicking only to have this group of FERAL animal themed heros bust in to save the day?

Here it is. 1.3k of badass pack!

PACK’S FURY

Warning: blood. Lots of blood and violence. Gore (I think) and Dark.

Blood.

There was blood, a lot of blood.

Damian's blood.

Damian, who was as limp as a rag doll in Bruce's arms after being hit by a bullet.

Weak pulse, unconscious.

Everyone was fighting and she should be doing the same, but the sight of Damian, fragile and broken, was glued to her eyes. Burning like fire soaked in alcohol.

Everything Marinette was capable of feeling; anger running through every part of her body, from the sole of her foot, to the root of her hair. The fear of losing someone she loved. Impotence for not being able to prevent it from happening ...

She was ready.

Ready to finish.

To destroy.

To avenge.

And the pack, like her, wanted blood.

They wanted to hunt, bite, tear, crush, vaporize those responsible for this.

Viperion looked at Ladybug, he was barely able to control himself, wanting permission. A signal. Chat Noir had its claws embedded in the concrete. Queen Bee buzzed like an angry beehive. Ryuko had smoke coming out of her nose. Pegase and Roi Singe had murderous expressions.

They were waiting for the alpha prime command.

And Ladybug was already tired of waiting for Batman's signal.

They were losing.

A green hero - whom she vaguely resembles Damian calling him Garfield - had been knocked out by two villains. The shadowy girl in the cloak was overwhelmed looking after another group while trying to protect him.

Nightwing, Red Robin, Red Hood and Blue Beetle were trapped and injured by dozens of men.

Star Fire fought and tried to cover Batman, who protected Damian.

Meanwhile, the man who had shot Damian, watched everything as if it were the best comedy film he had ever seen.

"... Leave him to me." She says, her voice clinical and emotionless. “Make them regret hurting what's belongs the pack. I want them to suffer.”

It didn't take much more words for the group to come out of hiding and attack.

Chat Noir's cataclysm vaporized dozens at once; Queen Bee paralyzed everyone she could, while Roi Singe and Pegase destroyed them; Ryuko cremated everyone who dared to get close; Viperion took no care in breaking necks.

They paved the way for alpha prime to reach her goal.

American heroes - and aliens - looked horrified by the bloodbath. The mad eyes. The cruel smiles when blood spilled and the henchman fell dead on the floor.

"My God." Nightwing whispered, incredulous of what he was watching.

Children who were once pure sun and rainbows were now bloodthirsty demons looking for revenge. He felt his stomach churn.

Red Robin believed that it could only be a hallucination induced by some toxin, because it couldn't be real.

Red Hood had sat on the floor, worn out and not at all surprised. He knew what potentialized hatred was capable of doing to even the best of men.

Blue Beetle, Raven and Beast Boy - who had woken up - retreated amid the carnage. That group was an uncertain and unstable group, they didn't know if they could be trusted.

Star Fire was in a defensive position, even though she knew who they were, instinct speaking louder than reason. Her tension grew when one of them, all in green with scales, approached her and Batman.

The whole place froze watching the scene.

He held out his arms to the man, paying no attention to her.

"Give him to me." Demanded.

Batman stepped back as if to hide Robin from the other hero, but the angry whistle and the icy gaze held him in place.

"I said, give him to me." He waved his hands. “You don't want to face the fury of the pack, Batsy. We are not in our best mood right now, so you better cooperate.”

Batman hesitated for a moment, but ended up handing Robin over to the other hero.

"What-" Star Fire murmured confused when Robin was placed on the floor.

The boy did not seem to have heard her as he bent over Robin's body, placing his left hand over the bullet wound in the kevlar.

For a moment, she thought he was mourning over his body, but then his hand began to shine and the glow began to envelop the vigilant’s entire body. The light show didn't last barely five seconds before it went out and Robin stood up in panic, choking on the air.

The chest, where there should have been a bullet hole, now fully healed. No traces of blood.

He looked confused at everyone, before his gaze landed on the scaly hero.

“Viperion? What are you doing here?"

The hero sighed in relief and smiled.

"We came to take what was ours, Ure."

"We...?" And then he noticed the unusual color in the place.

Queen Bee strangling the last henchman on the floor.

"Did you come to Gotham because of me?!" He complained.

Viperion opened his mouth to reply, but was interrupted.

"We would go to hell for the pack, my love." Ladybug replied.

She was standing in the center of all the carnage. The red-spattered face and the black gloves of the suit, dripping blood on the concrete floor. At her feet, Harvey Dent – Two-Face - lay dead. The jaw completely broken, the left eye missing and the right arm at an unnatural angle.

Damian's heart raced at the sight.

His angel had become a demon and all he could think about was how he wanted to kiss her breathlessly.

"We have a rule of not killing, Ms. Ladybug." Batman cut Robin's line of thought. "You and your... pack... just killed thirty men without mercy."

The pack made a mocking sound.

Ladybug raised an eyebrow at the man.

"And...?" Her voice was icy. “They took what is mine. They hurt and almost killed him.” The Parisian heroes - except Viperion, who still held Robin - approached her. "No one who hurts the pack, survives to tell a story."

Batman sighed tightly.

"Even so. We don't do that in Gotham.”

Ladybug put a finger to her chin, eyes away; seeming to ponder the man's words before focusing on him again. The face contorted in an animalistic expression.

"So, the next time Robin is sent on a solo mission, keep in mind that if he suffers any serious injury, it will happen again." She smiled bestially. “You're lucky that I'm not around your neck, Batsy. Because that's what I want to do.”

And everyone felt the truth in those words.

She was prepared to burn the whole world if the pack was attacked.

BONUS:

"Bro, Robin's girlfriend is scary like him." Beast Boy whispered to Blue Beetle.

"Her friends too." The bluish hero replied. “And what is this about a pack? Does it have to do with those animal suits?”

They didn't notice the presence behind them, until it was too late.

"You are very curious, huh." Chat Noir put his arms around the shoulders of the two heroes, who jumped in fright. He had a smile that would seem docile, if it weren't for the sharp look. “But I think it's better if you keep that curiosity for yourself. It's just like that proverb: curiosity killed the cat and I'm sure you don't want to die, right?"

Beast Boy and Blue Beetle nodded violently.

Chat Noir smiled even more.

"Great!" He released both of them and clapped his hands, passing them. “It was nice to finally meet the other Ure partners. I hope to be able to fight alongside you again in the future. Have to go now! Bye!" He waved and a portal opened in front of him, swallowing the hero and disappearing.

The american heroes were paralyzed by what had happened.

"I really hope I don't have to meet them again."

"I agree."

I hope I have met your expectations.

Kagami’s Lucky Black Cat Chapter 2

Hey everyone! I am sorry it took me so long to get chapter 2 out...Granted I guess with that recent episode that came out my timing is perfect.

So do all of you want to see Chat Noir happy with Kagami? I know you do!

So without further ado...

It was noon when Chat Noir jumped around Paris to make sure everything was safe. He checked every corner of the city and everything seemed as peaceful and mundane as usual, which made today a wonderful day of exploring.

At the same time, Kagami was waiting in a long line to be seated at a restaurant. She tried her hardest not to bump into anyone, but everyone was eager and excited.

Just then, Chat Noir flew above him, and the people in the crowded line gasped. Everyone called out Chat Noir's name and said hello. And Kagami turned to see her cat hero friend and gave him a soft smile while waving.

Chat felt time slow down as his eyes locked on to the beautiful girl who waved to him. He almost flew into a street lamp, but he managed to grab hold and slid down the street light like a fire pole.

The crowd started cheering, and Chat Noir walked over to greet everyone.

"Hey fans! I hope everyone is doing well today," Chat said.

The people in the crowd gave their enthusiastic replies, and Kagami gave Chat a pleased grin.

"Hello Miss Kagami," Chat said before taking her hand and planting a kiss on it. His peridot green eyes looked so lovely to her. "It's great to see you again."

"Likewise," Kagami said as she took her hand and kissed the area that Chat kissed.

Just then, the owner of the restaurant showed up to greet Chat.

"Chat Noir," the restaurant owner started. "I am so grateful for all you do for our city. If you want, I can give you a reserved seat."

Chat Noir was pleased by the offer, but then he turned to Kagami.

"Could Miss Kagami join me as well?" Chat asked.

The restaurant owner gave his approval, and Chat held out his hand for Kagami.

Kagami smiled and took his gloved hand, and the crowd members were in awe. A few girls were a mix of starstruck and jealous.

"I want to date Chat Noir too!!!"

"You are so lucky!"

Chat Noir and Kagami took a moment to giggle to themselves.

They were seated at a lovely balcony seat where the two of them relaxed while waiting for food.

Adrien never had a date with someone while being a superhero, but there was a first time for everything. And Kagami was so charming.

Chat sat back in his seat to soak in the sun just like an actual cat, but he sat back up when Kagami's hazelnut eyes looked at him.

"See? You really are a lucky black cat," Kagami said before sipping some iced tea.

Chat tried to shake off his blushing face. "You give me too much credit. I nearly slammed into a billboard while on patrol. He laughed a bit under his breath. "It was kind of funny."

Kagami smiled and rested her face on her hand while stirring her drink with her other hand.

"I would've waited an hour for a table. And it's been lovely so far."

It mentally clicked for Adrien that everything was going well. Thank goodness! He was feeling so good being around Kagami he almost forgot not to ruin the date.

"I am glad I am good company," Chat said as he brought his ice tea to his lips. "Keep it up Chat! You wouldn't want to disappoint her!" He thought.

Kagami gave a pleased hum, and Chat realized he drank all his ice tea in one sitting. Kagami pushed her iced tea to him, and Chat Noir gave a silent thank you for offering the rest of her ice tea.

They were peaceful at their table until a few fangirls from earlier were a bit loud and excited to be seated at a table finally. They were certainly delighted to be sitting at a table near Chat Noir.

"Hey Chat Noir!" One of the girls cried while waving.

Another girl ran from that table ran to Chat and held a notebook in front of him.

"Chat, may I please have an autograph?"

Before Chat could say yes or no, a fangirl on the other side of him grabbed his arm and stroked his chin with her other hand.

"Chat Noir, please spend time with me."

"Wait!" Chat cried as he tried to free himself.

Kagami had a bit of a hurt expression on her face. Chat was at a loss for words as he looked at her with an apologetic expression on his face. The fangirls still had him in their clutches, and it was undoubtedly killing the date.

Suddenly a man started playing the accordion and Chat jumped high in the air. Everyone dining gasped in shock. Chat Noir did a flip before landing right beside Kagami. Kagami was a bit stunned, and her chair rattled a bit on impact.

Chat Noir sighed and fixed his hair before holding on his hand for Kagami.

"Would you like to dance?"

Kagami smiled softly. "I would love to."

They walked hand and hand to an area free of tables, and Kagami hooked her hands to Chat's, even if there were claws on his gloves. Her deep brown eyes were enough to soften any feral expression he had.

Kagami gently took the lead as they swayed back and forth, and their feet met every beat to the sounds of the accordion. They started to giggle as they felt each other matching their rhythm, and the accordion music became more energetic. Chat Noir lifted Kagami in the air a few times as they spun around. Kagami felt her heart rush and her smile grow as the handsome cat boy gracefully lifted her as if she were flying. When they finished spinning, they found themselves back at their table, where the waiter placed small skillets with steaks on them. Chat and Kagami were pleased to eat finally.

As they ate their delicious steaks cooked in garlic butter, Chat Noir told his most hilarious stories of him and Ladybug saving the day, and Kagami was so amused.

"And then the Akuma that reigned misfortune on every person she saw faced her own misfortune when me and Ladybug showed up!" Chat Noir said triumphantly. "Only this time, I had a sword with me to fight against the misfortune magic, and it was awesome!"

Chat Noir quickly waved his fork around like it was a sword. "En garde Misfortune!"

Kagami giggled and waved her fork around as well.

"This time, Chat Noir will become the MVP!" Chat cried. "I will prove myself to be as big of a hero as Ladybug."

The two of them continued sword fighting with their forks until they heard a crash in the distance. Up ahead, it did look like smoke from a destroyed building. Chat instinctively guarded Kagami.

"I gotta go!" Chat said sternly. He was about to throw some money on the table, but Kagami took his hand.

"I will take care of it. Just go save the day," she said.

The two of them looked into each other's eyes for a moment before Chat smiled at her. He got up from his seat and twirled his tail in his hand.

"This Akuma will certainly pay for interrupting my date with you," Chat said. He looked at Kagami one last time. "Stay safe Princess."

"I will," Kagami said as Chat jumped off the balcony and onto the rooftops.

Kagami and many others ran to the edge of the balcony to watch Chat Noir go, but the dining staff encouraged everyone to get inside where it was safer. Kagami turned back once more, hoping Chat Noir would be ok.

When everything was safe again, Kagami walked the streets of Paris alone, hoping to find Chat Noir again. But to no avail, he must've been busy with other things. Without realizing she saw Andre's ice cream cart at a distance where many people were eagerly getting ice cream.

When Chat Noir left, she didn't feel like finishing the steak since the Akuma interrupted their lunch date. So she waited in the messy line of people to get some ice cream of her own. It was a bit of a wait, but Andre smiled at her when it was finally her turn.

"Good afternoon Miss! I see there are some mixed feelings inside of you. Affection. Infatuation. Joy."

Kagami smiled to herself. "Yes, today has been a fun day."

Andre opened the lid on the ice cream cart. "I have two flavors you might be interested in."

Andre pulled out two cones with two flavors, and Kagami stared in bewilderment.

"One cone has dragon fruit and charcoal, a sweet treat that is very unique! Represents a girl with the heart of a dragon and a boy dark and mysterious."

Kagami never tasted charcoal-flavored ice cream before.

"The other is dragon fruit and lemon sorbet. The dragon girl is complimenting a boy who is like lemons on a sunny day."

Kagami felt herself salivating. She wasn't sure which ice cream to choose. On the one hand, she loved lemon sorbet that reminded her of the beautiful sun in summer, but she also wanted to be bold and try charcoal.

She didn't want to keep Andre waiting though, so she took the charcoal cone from him.

"Whichever flavor combination you choose, you are sure to enjoy. Both represent the feelings in your heart for a boy." Andre said with a sly smile.

"A boy?" Kagami thought. There were two amazing boys in her life, and this was a dilemma.

Kagami didn't know what to say, so she just paid Andre and sat on a bench so she could taste the mysterious ebony black ice cream.

Kagami took a small spoonful and ate it, and that small spoonful exploded in her mouth with the flavor of charcoal. She couldn't help but take a few more bites. Kagami licked her lips and wondered if the ice cream made her tongue dark.

Kagami turned on her phone's camera and looked to see her lips, and her tongue had a bit of ebony black, but it was, and she smiled at herself as she took a photo.

Everyone could see the beautiful ice cream cone she was eating and the new flavor on her lips.

Chat Noir stretched and sighed after another day of saving Paris from Akumas. He complained to himself that he didn't even get to finish lunch or eat dessert with Kagami. And maybe take her on an extended date. But he had to admit right now that dating her as Chat Noir when he was Adrien Agreste would lead to life getting weird.

But before he could think more on the subject, he heard a familiar ice cream cart tune. It was enough to make his kitty sense perk up. Andre was busy humming happy tunes until he finally noticed Chat Noir.

"Oh Chat Noir, hello!" Andre cried as he eagerly rolled his ice cream cart closer.

Chat Noir waved. "Hello, sir!"

Andre smiled. "You look like you could use some ice cream."

Chat Noir took a moment to scratch his head. "Yeah, I could use some ice cream. And I could use another date." He muttered.

Andre opened the lid to his cart, and Chat Noir was in awe of the triple-decker ice cream Andre pulled out. The colors of the flavors looked lovely.

"I think this dragonfruit, blackberry, and hazelnut cone will suit a hero like you just fine," Andre said.

Chat Noir took the ice cream and eagerly licked his lips. "Thank you, sir!"

"Thank nothing of it!" Andre cried. "It represents beautiful hazel eyes, lovely dark hair, and the heart of a dragon."

Chat gratefully paid for the ice cream, and he and the ice cream vendor fist-bumped before Chat could finally taste the new flavor combination.

He was beginning to enjoy the taste of dragonfruit, a fruit he could only remember eating once or twice. Blackberry was also a welcome taste since he was getting tired of blueberry desserts. And he adored hazelnut chocolate, but it was the smallest scoop, and he just wanted to go to the store for more hazelnut chocolate ice cream after he finished his cone.

But when he finished eating, he thought about Kagami. Gentle but strong, sweet, and fun, the ice cream reminded him of her.

He thought the heart of a dragon as he remembered how strong and graceful she was with fencing and archery: precious hazel eyes and beautiful dark hair.

He wondered if Kagami liked hazelnut ice cream as he left to find the nearest store.

LadyNoir July 2021 Day 15: Forbidden

A/N: Was I expecting to write an enemies to lovers AU? No. Did I panic and not get to the lovers part? Possibly. Stay tuned for either a future fic or a future day this month (Hello secrets!) for a continuation because who doesn’t love enemies to lovers?

When she’d first gotten her miraculous, Tikki had told her that Ladybug was supposed to be part of a pair, that she had a partner out there.

She still remembered coming home after that first fight, seeing the look on Tikki’s face and knowing the black cat she’d gone up against was supposed to be on her side

Every time she faced him a voice whispered in the back of her mind, ‘does he know?’

Ladybug knew it didn’t matter, but she still found herself wondering. What if it was different? What if we fought by her side, joining her in stopping akumas, working together against Hawkmoth?

She was relaxing in the shadow of a beam on the Eiffel Tower one evening when he found her. Ladybug had thought there would be no harm in taking a break during patrol, but her luck seemed to be saved for akuma battes.

Jumping to her feet, one hand on her yo-yo, Ladybug prepared herself for a fight, bracing for him to throw the first punch. She’d found it hard to fight him, to start their fights, knowing he was supposed to be her teammate.

“Relax, Bug,” Chat Noir laughed at her. “I’m not here to fight you, at least not tonight.”

She frowned at him, untrusting of his words.

“I usually come up here at night. Something about the lights, it calls me.” Ladybug wasn’t sure what the joke was, but he laughed quietly at something he’d said.

She crossed her arms, finally annoyed at his appearance. “So, what? I’m supposed to leave, even though I was here first, so you can what? Howl at the moon?”

Mimicking her stance, Chat Noir raised an eyebrow. “Really, howl at the moon? My other half can’t even come up with a proper cat joke?”

Her blood ran cold. So he did know. Not that it changed anything, apparently.

She stiffened as he moved, raising his hands in surrender.

“But I get it, I’ll let you have your space. Maybe in the future we can make a schedule. On Tuesdays you can have the tower, and on Thursdays I can. Something simple for you to follow.”

“And what if I want Thursdays too?” She didn’t know why she was responding, going along with his teasing.

“Why, Mlady,” he grinned at her as she bristled at the pet name. “I guess that’s what making a schedule is for.”

With that, he saluted and jumped off, his baton already extending underneath him.

She tried not to think about the fact that it was the longest conversation she’d ever had with him.

The small bell at the entrance to her shop jingled, and Marinette looked up in time to see Adrien holding up two cups of coffee. She smiled and waved him over behind the counter as she cleaned up her clutter.

“Why hello there. I thought you were doing a photoshoot for the next,” she checked her phone, “hour.”

“Well, Vincent said I was too much of a ‘deflated lasagna’ and sent me on my way. So I figured, what better way to spend my new free time than with my favorite person and her favorite coffee?”

Marinette snorted imagining Vincent’s remarks as she took a sip. Her boyfriend didn’t always have a lot of free time in her schedule, so she appreciated any opportunity she got to see him during the day.

Of course, it never felt long enough.

The couple jumped as their phones went off, and she sighed at the alert.

“Oh, I need to get home, you know my dad-” Adrien started heading out the door.

“Yeah, I should close the store and try to pull in some people to get them off the streets,” Marinette nodded, headed towards the back door of the store.

She turned as he slipped outside, Tikki floating infront of her. Calling her transformation, Ladybug raced outside.

She knew it wasn’t fair to be frustrated at people who were akumatized, but did Hawkmoth really need to target people during the only time she got with Adrien today?

“Why, Mlady! Long time no see!”

Ladybug groaned. Of course he’d be enthusiastic about this. He probably sat around planning how to get in her way, how to ruin her day.

She twirled her yo-yo, searching for the Akuma. Maybe today would be quick, maybe she could avoid going toe-to-toe with the cat for once.

Marinette grumbled as she slipped into bed. Adrien had gotten up early for that photoshoot and would probably be exhausted from his day, and the akuma battle had lasted far longer than it should have. Instead of a nice evening cuddled on the couch with a movie, she’d have to have an early night.

At least they had a moment before the akuma this morning.

Rolling on to her side, Marinette hoped that maybe tomorrow would be better.

As her feet touched down, she realized her favorite vantage point was occupied.

“Why, Bugaboo, if you wanted to see me so badly, you could have told me yesterday!”

She groaned, rubbing her face. “Chat, why are you here?”

“I told you,” he tapped the beam next to him. “A schedule.”

Sure enough, taped with probably an impressive amount of tape, was a piece of paper with days of the week written on it. If she squinted, there was a small black cat drawn under ‘Thursday’ and a red circle under ‘Tuesday’.

She turned to leave, but his voice stopped her.

“Does it ever feel overwhelming? The double life?” His voice was quiet, and Ladybug couldn’t figure out if he actually expected an answer.

She didn’t realize she just had to wait.

“I get you don’t want to answer me, identities and all, but you haven’t pushed me off this ledge yet. I just -” Chat paused, and Ladybug saw his shoulders fall. “I’m not going to talk about it to him, and I feel like you’d get it.”

She stayed silent, not knowing how to respond.

“I’m sure you know we could have been partners, should have been a team. I think in another life, that would be nice. Freeing.” He whispered the last word, as though it wasn’t meant for her.

He sighed. “It would be nice to not feel so alone.”

Finally overwhelmed, Ladybug stepped back. Since she’d arrived, Ladybug had felt like she’d been intruding on a private moment, and this was too far.

“It’s never too late, Chat,” Ladybug whispered, stopping herself from reaching out. She didn’t know if he was too far in his own thoughts to hear her. Throwing out her yo-yo, she turned to him. “For now, I’ll just try to keep to the schedule.”

Something about what he said stuck with her, but she let herself get caught up in the swinging of her yo-yo to let it simmer.

Marinette didn’t remember when it had gotten so hard. She knew Adrien was frustrated with how his father pushed him, all of these early morning photoshoots and late night events starting to run together, but he’d never taken it out on her like this.

She was exhausted, but it wasn’t like Marinette could tell her boyfriend it was because Hawkmoth had increased his akumazations recently.

She missed when their time together was with giggled stories and warm cups of coffee, instead of fights and empty apologies for missed dates.

It felt like Marinette blinked and suddenly he was gone, his voice asking for some time apart echoing around her apartment, inescapable.

Tikki’s soothing voice sounded miles away, and all Marinette hoped for was a reprieve from those poisonous butterflies.

He bared his teeth as he pushed the baton against her, pinning her down. He wasn’t usually so physical, preferring to let the akuma do most of the work, but today something was off.

There was a feral look in his eyes, and a ghosting of purple and black near the bottom of his mask.

Taken aback, Ladybug thought through their recent interactions. No, she couldn’t have caused that.

“Minou?”

He froze, tilting his head to the side. Had she said that out loud?

She didn’t let the thought fester, already pushing off of him.

Slipping out from under him, Ladybug stood up, already planning her next step to get past him, to purify the akuma.

This time, when he joined her at the Eiffel tower, she offered him a croissant. Her parents had insisted on giving her a box of pastries, and with no Adrien to share them with, she didn’t know what else to do with them.

Chat quietly took her peace offering, sitting against the beams, watching her.

Brushing crumbs off her, Ladybug tried to bite back a sigh.

“Sometimes I wish it was different.” She couldn’t bear to look at him, to watch the surprise cross his face. “We could’ve been partners, but instead this city expeccts me to protect it. Sometimes I just want to stay home, hide out in my room.”

She finally looked over at him, but he wouldn’t meet her eye.

“Sometimes I wish we were partners, but most of the time I just wish things were normal. I mean,” she rubbed her face, willing herself not to cry. “I couldn’t even take a couple of days to be sad about my relationship ending.”

“I didn’t know you were in a relationship.”

“Well, I’m not. Not anymore.”

“Oh.”

They sat in silence for a minute, and she worried she’d said too much. Paired miraculous or not, he was still her enemy. Although up here, with the iron structure and the stars to keep them company, she wasn’t sure that was true. Like she’d somehow entered a truce with him, without even realizing it.

“Ladybug.”

She turned to him, surprised at the use of her name.

“Why did you call me that?”

She frowned, trying to figure out what he meant.

“During the last akuma, you called me Minou. Why?”

“Is that not what you are? A cat?”

“But you called me a kitten.”

She tried to hide her grin. “Yes, a big scary kitten.” She saw him frown and continued. I saw your face. I know I didn’t give you that bruise, and I know the akumas usually leave you alone. I guess,” she sighed, deciding if it was worth admitting. “I guess I just realized you’re probably my age, that we’re too young to be doing this. Too young to have to grow up this fast”

She looked over Paris, wondering if she’d gone too far.

“It was from my dad,” Chat whispered, and Ladybug ripped her eyes off the city to look at him. “He was, ahem, less than pleased with my appearance, and wanted to make sure his frustration was noted.”

She frowned, trying to understand. “Is your appearance important?” He chuckled, and Ladybug’s eyes bulged as she realized what she’d said. “No, I mean, um, like, is your appearance part of your job or something? Why does he care?”

Chat’s eyes sparkled, like he was hiding another laugh in them. “Something like that.” She watched as his hand reached up to rub the back of his neck. “Can’t have less than perfect for the face of the company, even if my relationship had just ended. Can’t have just one day to myself.”

“I’m sure he’d be thrilled to know you’re spending your night high on the Eiffel Tower with me, instead of sleeping.” Ladybug pushed away the sensation at the back of her mind, like there was something she should note, something important.

“I mean me? With Paris’s sweetheart? I’m sure he couldn’t be too upset.”

“I’m pretty sure Paris’s sweetheart is Adrien Agreste.” Ladybug motioned to a billboard in the distance.

“Sure, Ladybug, if you think he’s a sweetheart,” he chuckled again, and Ladybug squinted, trying to figure out what was so funny.

She pulled out her yo-yo and startled at the time.

“Oh, I didn’t realize how late it’s gotten. I gotta go.” She stood, but turned to Chat. “Thanks for tonight. I think I needed it.”

“Me too, Bugaboo. Me too.” Chat stretched out, making no move to follow her. “Get home safe bug.”

In another circumstance, it would be a threat. But tonight, high above the city, it was just a goodbye.

“You too, Chat Noir.” She smiled at him one last time before swinging away, leaving her forbidden friendship behind her. At least for tonight.

This is so interesting, thank you !! Also I'm French and I've heard a lot about Fort Boyard without watching so I had no idea the themes were so similar, but given the amount of references and Easter eggs in Miraculous, I wouldn't be surprised if it were a conscious nod !

Would you do a comparative analysis of Marinette's and Adrien's different transformations please please please ? (And possibly between Aspik and Viperion's transformation ?) 🙏

Ok, so, this is going to be long. I will limit the screen capture, but I’ll put down link to any transformation I am referencing.

Ladybug | Lady Noire | Multi Mouse

Alright, so let’s begin with Marinette’s most common transformation : Ladybug!

At the beginning, we see the camera framing Marinette at a normal angle before the character up herself up, thus offering us a subtle low angle shot.

Low angles serve usually to give the impression the character is bigger, superior. And Marinette is no exception. Once Tikki has entered her Miraculous, Marinette is elevated. She is becoming a superhero. Her hair and clothers are being blown just like a cape blown by the wind. It’s a dramatization effect. The wind may not make sense, but it adds some flair and epicness.

Next is the mask. Mostly because I want to compare Marinette’s first transformation vs the one she now has.

During her very transformation in Origins, LB’s mask appears on its own as well as the rest of her costume, without doing any movement or big choregraphy. It showed Marinette as being passive. The transformation sequence there reflected how much Marinette was taken aback by all of this and didn’t know what she had to do then.

After her Origin’s though, after finding her resolve to help, Marinette knows what to do when there is a problem and will act. And this is what her -- or any other Holder really -- do by moving around to trigger their costume appearance. They don’t need to, but it communicates to us they are putting the mask on in order to do something about the situation at hand.

After that, the rest of Ladybug’s transformation sequence is inpired by gymnatics. So, while the show never showed Marinette having gymnastic class, this could be part of her past, that she has taking gymnastic lessons before. It also constrast with the clumsy Marinette, showing us instead that as Ladybug, she is elegant, in control of her movement before finishing with a powerful pose.

Speaking of gymnastics...

Multi Mouse’s transformation is fully inspired by it. The vfx are even shaped like ribbons themselves

Marinette’s pose at the beginning says action, but at the same time, instead of elevating herself, she bows down. Discretion is the word. And it was her goal when she put on the Mouse Miraculous. She will be making herself small and go under the radar. And during the tranformation, at one point, she goes completely off-screen as if she was evading it.

Honestly, I am curious to see and compare with Mylène’s when we will finally see it.

As for her Lady Noire’s transformation, it’s very much inspired by Chat Noir’s very own sequence. The Miraculous being raised up high above the head before the transformation begins, making her mask appear with one hand swipe. Her feet are grounded instead of giving the impression she is floating. The fury swipes at the end. So yeah, overall, inspired by Chat Noir, but her attitude feels a bit more feral to me, has a more raw energy to it. There is one moment that is varie a lot though. And it is when she puts the ears on.

Adrien in comparaison has a close up on the top of the head only. With Marinette though, we see her whole head, and she is like sighing of relief. Considering she said later the Chat Noir’s costume was lighter on the shoulder, this could be why. She doesn’t have as much responsabilities to handle as Lady Noire than as Ladybug.

All right, that’s all I had to say about Marinette’s transformation. Let’s now take a look at Adrien’s.

Chat Noir | Mister Bug | Aspik

Adrien’s transformation sequence starts with a very dynamic shot, as if he is punching something (or breaking the walls that surround him). He also has his other fist in the air, ready for action.

Once that done, he takes a pose, showing off, being dramatic, extravagant.

Before lifting his hand high above his head while keeping his head low. Interestingly enough, Lady Noire do the opposite. She looks upwards.

So, Adrien tries to be confident, but appears also humbled down? This is also done to contrast with Ladybug.

Also, I remember the 2D pv had transformation sequence already (back when it was Félix) and this very composition was present back in the day. In other words, this little segment of their respective transformation was meant to represent the yin and the yang.

As for the rest of Chat Noir’s transformation, no much comment. Him doing a fury swipes as well as his final pose as always strike me as him going into character. My hero theme is a cat? Alright, I’ll do a cat-like pose because I think it would be cool. And I know I am writing this after Lies, but even before that episode and the scene at the art club, Adrien likes to be able to goof around. So he jokes, he acts like a cat. It’s a way to express himself as well as an exploration of himself as he is unable to do so with the expection on him as a civilian.

Next, his Mister Bug’s transformation.

Just like Lady Noire takes a lot of inspirations from Chat Noir’s sequence, Mister Bug takes inspiration from Ladybug’s. But there are still some aspect that are still Chat Noir’s. Like the raised fist.

In fact, his sequence is very combative compared to Ladybug’s. The choregraph gymnatic sequence is replaced by a series of kicks. Though, I think the goal was to show boys can be Ladybug too if they want and this was a way to appeal to them. Still, this might be also our first clue about how Chat Noir is transposing himself in Ladybug’s role. He shows close combat move while the Ladybug Miraculous power isn’t optimal for close combat. We don’t even get a yoyo shot like it is the case with LB.

Finaly, Aspik’s.

The beginning is pretty similar to his Chat Noir’s transformation, but more... contrived? Less expressive? Tuned down? I dunno how to qualify it. I also love how we can still see his ring, but he is putting it behind him. Like how he is leaving his Chat Noir’s role behind in order to become Aspik. Because this is what he did during Desparada. He abandoned to be Chat Noir so he could be fitting (and flirting) with Ladybug as Adrien.

The last element is the lyre weapon. It appears only at the end of Aspik’s transformation, but Aspik doesn’t interact with the instrument at all. Because Adrien cannot play that instrument. And funnily enough, when it is Luka who holds the Snake Miraculous and transform into Viperion, the lyre is precisely the first thing that Luka appears and interacts with it to make the rest of his costume appears.

All that to show that Ladybug didn’t choose the right person for the Snake Miraculous during Desperada.

tmnt 2012 x miraculous ladybug headcannons based on the nyc special?

This could be its own what if!

(What if the NYC Special was a TMNT 2012 crossover?)

-Most of the story beats in Paris are the same. Marinette gets permission to have Adrien come to NYC. Ladybug asks Chat noir to guard the city, etc.

-Hawkmoth knows about the seedy criminal underbelly of NYC and tries to get intel from the Foot about the Eagle miraculous.

-The school that the class meets is from April’s school. She and Casey greet them.

-Casey hitting off with Kim and the other guys. April becoming friends with Marinette.

-Alya asking April about the weird sightings in the city. Which April tries to downplay, but Casey overhears and is happy to blab to the cute girl about some of the crazy stuff in NYC. (except he doesn't mention the turtles because he is a bro.)

-”Ninjas? Aliens? mutated people?! I need to get photos of this!” Alya practically rushed out.

-April glares at Casey over that. Which Casey is like “Oh come on red, how much trouble can one girl get into.”

-Marinette immediately runs after alya because she KNOWS! what trouble she can get into.

-April decides to follow to make sure nothing bad happens. She tells Casey to stay and not let anyone else leave. And Casey rolls his eyes but says sure.

-Nino notices his girl is gone and asks Casey if he saw her. Casey smirks says that she and a cute girl and his friend left.

-Adrien joins the conversation

-”We should find Alya and Marinette before they get in trouble with the teacher.

-Nino and Casey agree, (the later because he was bored.)

-Alya, Marinette and April end up running into Bebop. (literally, because he was cloaked.) He was not happy with alya’s comment on calling him a weird pig man. (she took photos)

-Alya almost got blasted but April saved the day, telling them both to run.

-Marinette tells Alya they should split up and get help. Alya agrees and they go. Ladybug will make a quick appearance.

-The guys end up running into Rocksteady. who was not happy to see annoying hockey player.

-Adrien tells the two to leave, but Casey is already attacking. Nino says he will go get help. Adrien decides a quick appearance of chat noir would help.

-April had put a call to the turtles as she was fighting Bebop, and just when Bebop has her cornered, a yo-yo swings in and yanks the pig away into a dumpster.

-”You alright?” Ladybug asks, leaving the red head confused. Who was the girl in the spots? Though, for some reason she felt REALLY familiar (can't fool the psychic powers)

-”Is that you Marinette?” Asking quietly.

-Ladybug dismissed the notion entirely and goes to fight Bebop, who was outtie 9000.

-Casey realized that fighting a rhino without weapons was not smart. Thankfully just before he was street pizza, Chat noir jumped in.

-”Ill take it from here. Do you think you can give up, I don't want to fight an endangered species.”

-”The only thing that is facing the danger is you Comrade.”

-Cue fight with Chat noir holding his own against the rhino man.

-Casey admits the blond got style. And he NEEDS to introduce him to the turtles.

-Rocksteady gets a call from Bebop saying that they got what they needed and they needed to head back. So he tells the cat boy he got lucky.

-Casey notices the distress call and asks the cat boy to join him.

-”Its chat noir.”

-”Okay Chat”

-”WOW! Watch the pronunciation.”

-”Why?”

-”Nevermind just go.”

-Donnie is the first to arrive on the scene, (worried about April.) April tells them she is fine, and then he realizes that there is another person that just saw them.

- “Ummm hello.”

-Ladybug had to admit, the pig was a lot at first. now the giant talking turtle. Then include the other 3 TURTLES.

-They introduce themselves. The Purple headband was Donatello, The blue headband, Leonardo, The red headband was Raphael, and the Orange one was Michelangelo.

-Mikey was hyped because “SUPERHERO!” and asks for autograph. Leonardo may or may not have an infatuation because (leader type)

-Casey arrives with Chat noir. Cue argument between the two. Which Chat noir feels ashamed.

-Mikey says “Ooof Superhero couple arguments are intense.”

-Leonardo feels he can relate to Ladybug, and takes her side on that. Donnie does as well. Raph and Mikey takes Chat noir’s side. Thus causing a divide for the team.

-But after the argument, Chat noir was able to explain what happened and that if anything should happen. He does have the akuma alert active and he can fly back. Which Makes Mikey have a field day with all the questions he want to ask

-The turtles bring the two back to the lair where they meet Master Splinter, who recognizes the miraculous.

-”You know about the miraculous?”

-”It is in the ancient Hamato book of legends. Powerful artifacts that contain powerful spirits that will give the user amazing powers and abilities. There was once one of my clan that did use one once, he had the power over storms. He was known as Hamato Ryu, the Dragon Shinobi.”

- Ladybug was fascinated by the legends, asking if he knew anything else.

-Splinter agreed to tell her more, if he could test her and her partner’s abilities. (they were both in the middle of an argument) so they were a bit hostile towards the other.

-Splinter kicked their buts hard. Even with their super powers. Splinter pointed out that they are both powerful, but they are not in sync. Should they learn to fight as one, they would be able to beat anyone.

-Chat noir and Ladybug still argue over the situation, and Raph recommends that they spar. Chat noir says he doesn't want to hit her.

-Ladybug says its a good idea, and cue them fighting. Chat noir and Ladybug actually do get out a lot of their hostility (which may have made things worse) out during the match. But an akuma alert actually stops it.

-Ladybug decides that flying to Paris wouldn't be fast enough and uses the horse miraculous to warp them both there.

-The turtles tag along and they fight Robustus (sentimonster)

-Ladybug then Leaves Chat noir in Paris, Saying now he can keep his word now. Which then leaves Chat noir a bit hurt.

-Now chat noir feels the brunt of his actions and is consumed with guilt.

-Hawkmoth had managed to get the Eagle miraculous thanks to dealings with the foot.

-Hawkmoth thanks Shredder and agrees to his part of the bargain. To power up his mutants.

-He akumatizes Stockman fly into the ‘Mutanifier’ which has the ability to amplify the power of other mutants.

- Bebop, Rocksteady, Rahzar, and Fishface get upgrades. Bebop Now much bigger, His tusks Longer and he has wings. Rocksteady Now even tougher and taller then one of the Tryceritons. Rahzar moves even faster and his claws are much shaper. Fishface gets actual legs, and can shoot his scales like bullets.

-Shedder orders them to destroy the turtles.

-Hawkmoth then tells shredder that he wants two more artifacts

-”When I get the head of Hamato Yoshi, you can get your jewelry.”

-Hawkmoth can sense the amount of lose and rage from shredder, he decided not to akumatize him, because he seems to strong willed to concede to him right now.

-The turtles comment that what Ladybug did wasn't cool. Donnie had to agree, it seemed like a jerk move.

-Ladybug dismisses it and goes back to her class.

-Alya was relieved to see her friend, but Adrien was still missing.

-Marinette was shocked to hear Adrien was gone. She goes looking for him, only to see the city of New York under attack.

-Ladybug must go back into the fray and she meets up with the turtles, who are outmatched by the powerful mutants

-They barely escape and Ladybug reveals she has a plan.

-Ladybug realizes its time to give her new friends some power ups.

- Leonardo gets the Dragon miraculous, Making him Kame Ryu.

-Donatello gets the fox and becomes Kame kitsu

-Mikey gets the monkey and becomes Kame gokuu

-Raph gets the Turtle and becomes Kame Kappa. (he does not like that his weapon is a shield) But he works with it.

-Mikey is LOVING the powers, though he is not use to the weapon. He asks Donnie if he wants to switch.

-The new hero team is able to beat the improved mutants and they even free stockman fly from the akuma. Which infuriates Shredder. Which Hawkmoth uses as a chance to *Free* him of his mental restraint and then akumatize him.

-That is when Hawkmoth akumatizes Shredder.

-Creating the wild and Powerful Doom-ja. Who had more armor and basically looked like a less mutated super shredder. All feral

-The doom-ja was deadly and beat the crap out of the team.

-Ladybug calls her lucky charm, only for it to show a postcard to Paris.

-She needed chat noir here.

-Chat noir was patrolling paris. Only to see a portal that he collides with. He was surprised to see it.

-Chat noir apologies to Ladybug about everything, and Ladybug apologizes for snapping at him so hard. They both agree that they could have handled it better and that they are a team.

-The two join with the hero turtles and fight Doom-ja.

-They take the lesson they learned from Splinter about fighting as one, and the two of them were able to knock Doom-ja off his rhythm. The turtles were able to destroy the akumatized helmet and defeat Doom-ja.

-Shredder now facing 6 super heroes and now more clear minded. He decides he would leave for now, mostly because he was angrier with another individual at the moment.

-Hawkmoth had been watching from the sidelines, and didn't notice that Splinter had tracked him down.

-While The heroes fought Doom-ja. Splinter fought Hawkmoth.

- Despite the powers, Splinter kicked his butt. Splinter comments the he can sense that he lost a loved one, and that his grief and rage have consumed him.

-”You will become no better than the shredder if you continue down this path. So take this as a warning, come back into my home with your obsession, and you will not get back up again.”

-Splinter had snagged the eagle miraculous from him before leaving Hawkmoth beaten and bruised. Hawkmoth crawled away, ego bruised.

-Splinter give the eagle miraculous to Ladybug, saying that a guardian would be best to overseeing the miraculous.

-Ladybug thanks him, offering to let him keep it. But Splinter says that they will be fine without it.

- The turtles say good bye to their hero friends. Ladybug and Chat noir are back to in sync partners.

-Adrien is back in NY and marinette is relieved to see him safe. Hugging him and forgetting her awkwardness for a bit.

-The class does get their fun sight seeing adventure, and the turtles let them have a break. Mikey asks if they can visit Paris.

-”Maybe one day.”

I want everyone to know that in my Sam and Max Miraculous AU, Max and Mama Bosco dated for, like, two months in high school, then both realized they were gay and broke up on amicable terms. Mama Bosco is now Max’s best (platonic) friend, and takes on the role of Nino. They like talking shit together and making weird science experiments

Similarly, Sam and Sybil had, like, one date, and immediately decided it wasn’t gonna work out and became besties. Sybil keeps trying to get Sam and Max to date, but Sam keeps insisting he and Max are Just Friends ™

Max has had the biggest crush on Sam for AGES, but has always been too timid to admit it/ afraid of ruining the best relationship he’s ever had to ever do anything about it. Never mind the fact that Sam constantly calls them “Just Friends ™” which, like, doesn’t do a whole lot for his romantic confidence

Sam fell in love with Max’s alter ego during their first mission together. He wasn’t too sure about this guy at first, because ew cat, but then he went feral on a bad guy and Sam was like “oh shit that’s kinda hot” and has been hopelessly in love ever since.

It also doubles as a college au, since I want them to go to school somehow but don’t want them being awkward gangly teenagers, as cute as that is. Sam’s probably an art student, maybe a product design major since he seems to have interest in engineering, and Max is theoretically earning a degree but also mostly just being a model. Not a FASHION model, but like, the kind that mostly does a buncha weird odd jobs. Handing out fliers at promotional events and posing nude for figure drawing classes, stuff like that. Mama Bosco is earning her doctorate in genetics, and Sybil is earning like, a bajillion degrees at once. The one she’s focusing on now is her journalism major, though she still runs a tattoo parlor/therapy office/dating service on the corner. Mama Bosco and Sybil are an endgame ship in this au because fight me

Max’s big break at the moment is being a promotional model for Hue Bliss, who’s a professor at the college and also a minor celebrity/cult leader. Hue Bliss takes on the role of Hawk Moth. He doesn’t have, like, a tragic backstory or anything, he’s just trying to create the perfect society in his own image by slowly connecting everyone via the abilities granted to him by this mysterious magical artifact he dug up one day on an archeology expedition or something

Tikki and Plagg still exist, mostly because I really, really wanna draw little comics of Max and Plagg interacting like bitchy roomates and maybe a few of Tikki and Sam being friends. Though I’m sure Tikki tells Sam off much more than she ever did Marinette, perhaps acting a bit like an overbearing older sister to him. Like, there’s love there, but it’s more like tough love, you know? Especially since Sam really, really wants to tell Max he’s Ladybug. Like holy shit he’s never kept a secret this big from Max before and it’s kinda starting to get to him that he can’t tell his best friend in the entire world that he’s a superhero.

Meanwhile Max is absolutely LOVING the whole secret identity thing, like he finally has the freedom to be as feral a goblin creature as he wants with almost no consequences?? And his new partner in stopping crime is kinda hot and really fun to flirt with. Like OBVIOUSLY Sam is his one true love, this isn’t SERIOUS or anything, but it’s also kinda really nice to flirt with someone who flirts back sometimes? And oh god what would Sam think if he knew his best friend was beating the pulp out of bad guys and flirting with men and could destroy anything he touches, his chances would be RUINED. Like yeah that isn’t all that different from how he acted growing up, but like he’s SUPPOSED to be an ADULT now, right??? With, like, a job, and a reputation, and supposedly some sort of impulse control. So being a superhero is sort of a good way to get away from all that gross adult expectations stuff.

But then Sam starts gushing about Lapin Chat Noir and Max gets Jealous. Of himself. And it’s GREAT

Convincing a miniaturized pocket god that your intentions are sound came surprisingly easy to her.

That could be in part due to all the prior planning. Considering every possible argument the goddess could come up with and creating contingencies to match. Really though, taking out Tikki's own advice and laying it out as a perfect reasoning quieted her down quite nicely. Not that Tikki agreed with her, but the logic was too sound to push back on and the little bug never expected Marinette to come up with such thoughts without getting emotional. It just wasn't the way the girl was as far as Tikki was concerned. So it could only be taken at face value without the usual accusations of her being overdramatic.

It was an early Saturday when she voiced her thoughts.

"Hey Tikki?"

"Yes, Marinette?" the red bug looked up from her perch.

"Our biggest priority is to stop akumas and find Hawkmoth, correct?"

"Of course. You know that," she dismissed.

"So is it reasonable to say that Chat has been a hinderance to our duty?"

"How do you mean?"

"He distracts me or sits out on important battles. Threatens to quit if details that don't pertain to our purpose are withheld. He refuses to remain professional in the face of an attack."

"Well yes, he has been rather unhelpful lately, but then again, you are teenagers. It's to be expected, I suppose. Though I do wish he'd be a bit more focused," she easily agreed.

Marinette bit back a victorious smile and kept her expression closed off but for the determined, calculating expression she saved for important moments. Like now.

"In that case, it would be a good idea to make him focus any way I can. To make it easier. To hurry along the hunt for Hawkmoth."

Tikki's expression became weary as she stared at her welder, taken off guard by the open statement, "I don't know, Marinette...What did you have in mind?"

"Nothing yet, but I think I'm going to start brainstorming some ideas. Maybe do a little research. Something needs to change though," she emphasized, staring down her kwami with a hopeful, prodding look until she hesitantly nodded her agreement.

With the god's blessing, she turned to her tablet, pulling up everything she could on different heroes and their methods. Down the rabbit hole she fell.

…

Some thirteen hours had passed and she felt the strain of her eyes and the bright burn to her retinas for the effort of her work. She refused to believe that no inspiration would come from this effort, though she'd moved on from conventional heroes and into a more sketchy territory by now, having been let down by the uptight views of others who'd obviously never been harassed or neglected by their partner and therefore wouldn't understand her need for a more, let's say, gray solution.

She'd seen the ideals of Superman and the Lanterns and the generalized view of both the Teen Titans and Justice League alike. Many worked with partners, many had betrayals or interpersonal problems. The solution they always took was for one or both parties to leave the team and travel to opposite sides of their country. Or world. Or separate worlds. Either way, avoidance was key. That didn't really work for her though. She had to stay in close contact with her partner while not truly working together. Remain civil within the same city limits. Fight side by side even. And it's not like she could just leave her responsibility here or allow Chat to go unchecked with a miraculous on his own.

Then she stumbled upon Batman's history. The infamous bat had many a partner or sidekick with their own rough history and seemed to be operating with them regularly still. His solution to a lost or dead partner seemed to be a steady stream of replacements. Unfortunately, unlike a vigilante suit, a miraculous has to resonate with the wearer and no one she knew and trusted would fit the black cat. So she was stuck with the one.

Still though, Batman apparently had a falling out with his first Robin who became Nightwing. Those two were seen together regularly now so something must have happened to fix their issues. Gods, she was so lucky the internet seemed to stalk these people hardcore enough to have so much information on them so readily available. However, looking deeper, the resulting theories and knowledge did not bode well for her. It seems Nightwing had been in much the same state as her and with zero apologies from the Bat, had forgiven the man and resumed operations as usual. Well she was done with forgiving and forgetting. She wanted a real solution, not just rolling over and letting Chat do as he pleased!

Alright, so Batman was the Chat Noir to the Robin's Ladybug. Maybe the others fared better?

Nope, second one died.

Current one seems to be a literal feral child out to bleed Gotham dry. Not sure how that helped, though maybe she could go just psycho enough to force Chat to be the responsible one? No, he'd just try and quit again.

Huh.

There was a third and fourth one apparently? Between the murder baby and the dead one. What happened to them?

The fourth was a blonde girl with a short stint. Seems she just moved departments since many speculated she might be a batgirl or working with a few others in the city. Not much more.

But what about the other one?

The third Robin, who worked with the Teen Titans for a stint. Who worked many years under the Bat, who gave away the title to the blonde only to return after and disappear once more with the coming of the blood toddler. What happened? Where'd he go?

…

Thousands had apparently asked the same question themselves. All signs seemed to point towards a betrayal. Something went wrong. The first resigned, the second died, the third just seemed to drop off the face of the planet. Did Batman kick him out? Replace him? For child's play, sword addition? She couldn't be sure, but it seemed the most likely guess. Much more believable than alien kidnapping or a quest for a dead man or his predecessor coming to life to end him.

But what after that?

Surely, Marinette could've stopped there. Obviously, this wasn't the same as her situation, but she couldn't help but be so very intrigued. She watched videos of the boy in his Robin suit (much more practical than the first two if you asked her, though still slightly shameful) fighting and flying across rooftops and working with his team. He was so. So. Efficient. So clean. Ruthless when he decided to be. Calculated. Everything she ever wanted to be.

He was amazing.

And then he disappeared.

Where did he go, that perfect Robin. How could anyone ever think the position needed an upgrade when the perfect bird was already there? It made no sense. And then she found him. Hunting through the rogues and heroes and inbetweens of Gotham, hidden in his own layerings of cover stories and identities. Her new aspiration of what a hero should be, mixed into the Anti-heroes of the city.

The vigilante of the more morally ambiguous variety, manipulating the world to the way he saw fit, using whatever method he wished. And the way he seemed to bend the city to his whim, well it matched quite well with how she wished her own city would be. She found her solution. Now it was showtime.

…

"Are you ready to apologize, m'lady?" Chat dropped down at her side, the akuma of the week tied up below them. It was a relatively easy battle, with no need for special abilities for once.

"Whatever for, Chatton?" Marinette asked, already tensing at the response she knew she'd receive. She hated when he tried to coerce her into apologizing for things that aren't her fault.

"For your neglect of your kitten, obviously."

"I don't have a kitten," she stated plainly.

"What? You wound me, to disown me so abruptly," he put a clawed hand to his chest, offense and hurt in spades marking his features.

"I can't disown what I never adopted," she went along with the analogy so he wouldn't complain about her ruining his fun again. The last thing she needed was his whining.

He perked up with this, "Well we can draw up some adoption papers right now if you wish? I'd love to be yours," he smarmed, leaning into her space further.

This was it. Time to turn the tables. To make this work in her favor. She just needed to play it right, the way her Robin did. By manipulating the enemy into doing her bidding. She could do this.

"That's just it, though. I don't believe you would," she frowned, letting her eyes soften the way she'd seen Lila do so often. Might as well learn something from the girl.

"What? I would," he insisted, eyebrows furrowing.

"See you say that, but where's the proof? You've done nothing but pester and punish me over these weeks. You say you love me, but then watch me get hurt by akumas and make me fight all alone and threaten to leave me. That's not the actions of a loving partner. It feels like you hate me."

That had him panicking.

"No no, I don't hate you, you're my sun and my moon. My everything. Surely you know your worth in my life. I only did those things to show you how much you hurt me." He attempted to reason with her.

"See, but I've never intentionally hurt you. And always apologized to you when I realized I had. Whereas you just admitted to causing me distress as a form of punishment. It seems to me that I'm far more attached to you than you are to me and I'm just not willing to hurt myself by getting involved with someone who so obviously dislikes me."

"I- no- that's not- I love you! I didn't mean to do that, I shouldn't have. Please believe me? I love you, Ladybug," he begged, ears dropping and body tensed in fear.

"I'm sorry, but until I see some proof, I can't do that," she shook her head before taking off home without a backward glance, leaving the cat to his misery.

…

That night, Tikki went straight to bed and refused to speak to her for the next two days.

“Luka... Couffaine?” Damian furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

The black cat kwami nodded. “That’s right.”

“... Am I supposed to know who that is?”

The spatter of red on his palm didn’t faze the blonde at all. If he closed his eyes, he could pretend it was just a splotch of fabric dye... But the footsteps were getting closer, and the clock counting down the seconds to his death was becoming more deafening.

“Adrien.” Vengeur growled through his mask, crazed blue eyes sparkling like a mutated wolf’s even in the dark of the night.

The blonde groaned as the man dressed in black yanked his wrist up violently, a sharp blow adding to the thousands that he had already received in the gut when the man realised the ring was gone.

“Where is the ring?” Vengeur yowled, a feral anger blazing in the eyes that Adrien realised were familiar to him. “Where the hell is the ring?”

Coughing weakly, the blonde managed a slight victorious smile at the man’s fury. “Somewhere safe,” Some would even say that Adrien dared to look cocky in the last moments of his life. “Somewhere you’ll never find.”

“You little...”

Adrien wasn’t surprised by the face he saw when Vengeur tore off his mask. “Luka... How did it come to this?”

“It’s all your fault.” The teal-eyed man hissed, his hand clenching into a fist that could crush mountains. “Yours and Ladybug’s. If you managed to save Marinette’s parents, she wouldn’t have left Paris behind! She wouldn’t have left me behind!”

The cries of the heartbroken man had brewed into a toxic potion of anger and fury, fuelling Vengeur’s determination to chase down the miraculous to bring back his beloved bluenette’s parents.

“Do you think I don’t regret that everyday?” Adrien choked out, more splashes of red accompanying his sorrowful words. “Do you think Ladybug doesn’t regret that everyday of her life?”

“Then you should’ve cooperated.” Said Vengeur, unsheathing the double-edged sword that he had used to chase down Chat Noir for three months. “If you’d cooperated, all we need to do is find Ladybug and her earrings, and we’d be able to bring Marinette and her parents back to Paris.”

Staring in to the face of death, Adrien spat on the blade, defiance clear in his eyes. “Marinette would never forgive you. If anything, she would run even further away from you.”

“Shut up.” Luka’s eyes were completely void of any care as his blade striked a line across Adrien’s throat, the night regaining its’ cold silence as Chat Noir bade the world goodbye.

“Let me get this straight.” Damian paced the apartment, Plagg drifting behind the green-eyed detective. “Luka Couffaine, or rather, Vengeur, killed Chat Noir- Adrien Agreste- Because he wanted the cat miraculous, which when combined together with the ladybug miraculous, can bring back someone from the dead.”

Plagg nodded. Damn, the kwami thought, the kid’s a fast learner.

“And Luka Couffaine has somehow convinced himself that if he can bring back Cheng’s parents, who were killed in the last akuma battle- He can convince Cheng to go back to Paris?” Damian clarified, rubbing his hands together as he sorted out all the information in his mind.

“Correct.”

“But he doesn’t know that Marinette Cheng is Ladybug.”

The black cat kwami nodded again. “Yep.”

Damian was quiet for a while, thoughts running through his mind at two hundred miles per hour. “And does Luka Couffaine know where to start looking for Ladybug? Could Chat Noir have given anything by accident?”

“No, Adrien didn’t even know that Marinette was Ladybug. He didn’t even know where Marinette went after she left Paris, either.” Plagg pointed out as-a-matter-of-factly.

Plagg grimaced. “That’s what we don’t know, and what we have to figure out.”

“Well that’s helpful,” Marinette commented sarcastically, Damian’s empty desk right in the middle of her sights. “He called in sick.”

The bluenette grumbled in displeasure, going through her emails to make sure she didn’t miss anything important. One of her more recent emails caught her eye- One from an old friend.

Things aren’t pretty in Paris right now. Luka’s been consistently asking everyone where you are- He’s really worried about you, girl. Everyone’s been on edge ever since Adrien... You know. Of course, I didn’t say anything about where you went- A promise is a promise, and I understand why it’s difficult for you to face Paris right now.

The police are still trying to track down Adrien’s killer. They haven’t disclosed any information to the public yet, but Sabrina (She’s in their crime division now, remember?) did tell me that they have a lead. Chat Noir is still nowhere to be seen, and Paris is completely defenceless. We’re all hoping the killer doesn’t strike again.

The bluenette leaned back into her chair with a sigh, rubbing the bridge of her nose in frustration. Alya was right- Paris was utterly defenceless- But she doubted the killer would make a move anytime soon. It was pretty obvious to her- The killer wanted Chat’s miraculous, and the next target would only be Ladybug herself.

Before she could continue to unpack the various events that were unfolding in Paris, another email caught her off her guard.

[I’m just going to cut to the chase. We’re apparently, both smart enough to figure out each other’s alter egos.

Long story short, I found your ring. ... Actually, your ring found me. And broke my display case. In addition, we have a first-person witness to Agreste’s murder.

Marinette just had lunch with Bruce Wayne. She spent 90 minutes with him and had no real idea why. The only thing she could ever recall is that he charmed the wits out of her.

She had the rest of the afternoon free and chose to go home and work on some projects.

Before she knew it the day was long over. She pulled herself away from her project and stretched.

"Are you hungry Tikki? Tikki?" Marinette couldn't see her kwami, or any of them, in sight.

She whipped around to her apartment window. There were two vigilantes sitting on her fire escape, eating their way through a bag of chips and talking quietly.

She stomped over to the window and threw it open, making them jump.

"I told you no!" You do not get to come around here and drew attention to my existence!"

"But Dad said lunch went really well!"

Red Hood smacked Nightwing across the back of the head.

"Nightwing, the only person I had lunch with today was-. Well shit."

Several weeks later Marinette was finishing lunch with Tim at a cafe near WE before he had to go back to work.

"You have to come have dinner, M. Have mercy on poor Dick he thought you knew already. Damian will not stop giving him hell and the rest of us have mostly forgiven him."

"And me having dinner with the boys will redeem him?" She raised her eyebrows skeptically.

"Joining the team would absolve him of his sins but as you keep saying no a weekly dinner is the next best thing."

"Hmm."

"Ok, do you remember the plan, Dick?"

"Yes!"

"Are you ready to run interference, Alfred?"

"Absolutely, Miss Marinette."

Damian found Tim in the kitchen after breakfast. Instead of going for his fourth cup of coffee he dumped the rest of the pot into the sink. And left the kitchen with a juice box.

Tim saw Jason in the garden reading a book titled Wrangler. He didn't know whether he was more worried about the half naked cowboy on the cover or that Jason was using Damian's katana as a back scratcher.

Jason passed the library only to do a double take. Damian was curled up with a pillow in one of the chairs crying at his phone.

"...Demon Spawn?"

"I'm fine. It's just that video, ya know. The one with all the happy rescue puppies when they get adopted."

Jason ran away silently screaming.

The vigilantes were suiting up for patrol in abosolute silence that night until Damian entered the cave and all hell broke loose.

"Jason, I will fucking kill you! Where is it?!"

"What the fuck are you taking about, Demon Spawn?"

"My katana! My favorite katana is missing! And I know it was you!"

"What would I want with that piece of shit!"

Red Robin was physically restraining Damian, glad he was already suited and ready to deal with the feral gremlin.

"I will kill you too, Tim, if you don't get off me!"

"You've already tried that punk."

Jason turned to ask Dick if he could get Damian under control only to see him fully suited and quietly laughing.

At the look on Jason's face he started laughing harder and pointing at them, tears running down his face. "You were right. He has an unnatural obsession with that thing!"

Damian had thrown Red Robin off and was charging at his older brother - if Nightwing wanted to laugh he could do it through a broken jaw.

"Oh shit! You better run Cupcake!"

"Merde. Dick, help!" Nightwing yelled as he took off running.

"Dick?!"

They watched as the illusion of Nightwing became a petite woman in a cat costume. Lady Noire was doing her very best to out run Damian but it was hard as she was still laughing.

Meanwhile, Dick came out from behind the batmobile dressed like a fox. "Damian, stop!"

"Who the hell is that?!"

They watched as Dick conjured up copies of Lady Noire trying to slow down Damian.

Eventually he managed to snag the right one and wrestled her to the ground. Lady Noire gave triumphant whoop when she had him pinned.

Bruce, in his full Batman glory, glared at everyone in the room.

"What is going on here?"

"I'm a magical girl now!"

More ideas for JD!Peacock:

JD has a lot of reasons for helping the Squip. It could be related to bis mom, Veronica, or the whole “The only place Marthas and Heathers can get along is in heaven thing”. The Squip might choose him after akumatizing him once more or something among these lines, and seeing his potential. When a new peacock holder appears,

Evan starts to suspect who he might be. At first, he thinks it could be Chandler or Regina, since they are popular, cause negative emotions, and are mean. But, then, it comes Night Feathers (temporary name) first physical appearance, and he finds out that it is a male holder. Then, he starts to suspect about Jeremy (making an Easter egg to the musical).

However, it comes his second physical appearance, with Jeremy being close. The fights get complicated, but, they manage to escape. But they still need to defeat the sentimonster. So, Jeremy receives the turtle and then, the plot continues.

Then, his third physical appearance comes, this time, Blue Berret is there. During the fight, she says something that makes him find out she is Veronica. This starts a change in him, and the second arc of his character begins.

Now, Night Feathers is not showing that much on Squip’s secret place. He still creates some sentimonsters for akumas, but it’s not completely on his side. He also, sometimes, help Mister Luck and Feral Feline if the situation seems to be impossible to solve.

The Squip sometimes consider swapping him, but, every time he does, Night Feathers appear and helps him, leaving him with this doubt.

Cut to a season ending, and Veronica (or could be someone else close to him) finds out the truth, and tries to convince him to leave Hawk Moth’s side and join the miracle team. He refuses at first, and leave with rage.

Then, on the epic final battle, all of his past experiences come back at him, and he notices that the power of the miraculouses shouldn’t be used for personal desires, and, on the middle of the battle, join the heroes.

To defeat Hawk Moth, he creats a giant robot kind of sentimonster with each main miraculous holder (ladybug, cat, peacock, fox, bee and turtle) for an epic fight.

I can see The Squip keeping an eye on JD after he was Akumatized. He got a look into his mind, saw how troubled he was, and Squip being Squip took the opportunity to manipulate JD and have him follow his lead with the promise of a better life when he gets his hands on the Miraculous. And JD takes the bait

Night Feather’s first appearance, Evan would probably go crazy with conspiracy theories (Cork board with thumbtacks and everything) When he’s revealed to be male though, I’m not sure why Evan would suspect Jeremy, besides physical traits. He and Night Feathers are probably around the same height, they both wear blue, have messy hair

Evan realizes Jeremy is innocent so the search continues, and Koopa makes his debut

When Night Feathers and Blue Berret meet, I’m getting ‘Dead Girl Walking (reprise)’ vibes for some reason. She warns him of the dark path he’s going down (Because that’s what time travelers from the future do) and tells him to turn against Squip unless he wants to ruin the future or something like that (I honestly hate time travel. ‘Time Tagger’ was confusing as hell for me and I still don’t get Terminator)

Ever since he met Blue Berret, Night Feathers has been creating less-hostile sentimonsters and sometimes, (When Squip isn’t around) he just uses his telepathy powers to calm people down so they don’t get Akumatized

I feel like Heather D would try to convince him when she catches him detransforming, (Reformed character trying to reform another character) He feels like she’s just trying to use him, not really believing she’s changed. Duke, when Tiger Lily is called on again or when she sees Ladybug and Chat Noir, tells them that JD has the peacock miraculous, and the hunt begins

I’d like to do sort of a Heroes Day chapter for this, with mass Akumatizations. As a last resort, Hawkmoth Akumatizes JD into a Catalyst-like Akuma who boosts his powers and forcefully Akumatizes people. Ladybug and Chat Noir call for the other holders and cue battle.

Duusu comes up, sensing JD’s regret for causing a mass Akumatization after all he’s done to prevent them. Thanks to using the Miraculous for so long, JD can now sense others’ emotions and comes to the conclusion that Hawkmoth is just going to betray him when he wins. (Here comes the mech with amplified powers of the holders, and cue the epic battle)

LADRIEN FTW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN

So Adrien is a famous model, yeah? He's like super super super famous. Anyone who doesn't live under a rock knows who he is.

Adrien is doing a world tour. But it's dangerous. A young star like him attracts many jealous eye. And Gorilla isn't enough. Adrien needs someone who can inconspicuously stick close to him and protect him. So Gabriel says.

Adrien knows he can look after himself. He's perfectly capable of keeping himself safe. After all, he himself is a trained bodyguard with the worlds most elite security firm -- Miraculous (fight me, I haven't slept in 28.5 hours, creativity might be a lil low)

The agency is know mainly for its expertly trained and carefully masked bodyguards for hire. Not even one bodyguard knows who the other is behind a facade.

Each bodyguard has their own supervising officer, an ex-bodyguard trained with certain special abilities. The SO then passes on their specific skill set to the new bodyguard. Yep, the kwami. I told you, I'm running a bit low on creativity.

The bodyguards are trained like spies. To change merely their demeanor to become someone else. Think Clark Kent vs Superman. That scene in one of the Reeves movies I can't quite recall it, where Clark just takes his glasses off and stands a little taller and suddenly, he's Superman. It's a very subtle change, but you would never walk past either of then mistake him for the other.

So there aren't any literal masks involved. Besides, Paris is blind anyway so--

So OBVIOUSLY Gabriel has to hire a bodyguard from the world's most elite security firm and he HAS to hire their best bodyguard. Seeing as Chat Noir is unavailable due to personal reasons, the agency sends in Ladybug.

Ladybug. Who is Marinette. Who has a major crush on Adrien.

Adrien cannot believe his luck. They sent Ladybug. Who is generally his partner. Whom he is madly in love with.

Both of them have the same thoughts bouncing around their heads: This is going to be a difficult two weeks.

I WANT ALL OF THE SPICE, Y'ALL

I want them in big cities, Adrien trying so goddamn hard to channel the suave and smooth Chat Noir but it's just not working sjdjjd. Ladybug doing her level best to maintain her facade and not turn into a melted puddle of blush everytime Adrien looks at her

I want them doing stupid tourist things in other countries and for the first time, Ladybug's actually having fun on a mission and it's not due to her charming partner cracking jokes all night to lift her spirits.

I want them to like ,,, be in Venice, riding a gondola or smth ,,, that scene in the little mermaid ,,,, "kiss the girl" lmao

I want Ladybug to talk to Adrien about Chat Noir. Tell Adrien how she'd blindly trust Chat with her life. Tell Adrien about events he already knows, but from her perspective.

I want Marinette to somehow come up in conversation. I want Adrien to talk to Ladybug about Marinette. How she's so talented and brilliant and sweet. How she's been one of his few genuine friends that he made back in high school.

I want them to spend days thinking about kissing each other.

Ladybug doesn't know he's Chat, right? And if she never finds out, it'll never jeopardize their team dynamic.

And Adrien doesn't know she's Marinette, right? And since he'll never find out, it won't dangle their friendship over a shredding machine.

And then I want them both to think about the kind of dangers they regularly put themselves in for the sake of the agency. They can't let themselves get involved with someone else. What if something happens to them on the job? What if they never come back and the other is left in the dark, never knowing what really happened in the eleventh hour?

And then, in the middle of the second week, I went them to say "fuck it" and go for it.

AND THEN I WANT AN ATTEMPT TO BE MADE ON ADRIEN'S LIFE

AND I WANT LADYBUG TO TAKE THE HEAT BECAUSE SHE'S THE BODYGUARD HERE

AND I WANT ADRIEN TO LOSE HIS FUCKING MIND BECAUSE NOT ONLY IS THAT THE WOMAN HE'S IN LOVE WITH, BUT THAT IS HIS PARTNER, THE PERSON HE SWORE TO ALWAYS BACK UP NO MATTER WHAT

And I want Ladybug to get taken captive, because without his little bodyguard, surely Adrien can't be that hard to get to.

And I want to see Adrien looking at Ladybug, thinking about their vow of secrecy, looking at Ladybug, thinking about all the rules he was about to break, looking at Ladybug, and deciding "fuck it" and going feral on the attackers.

Like ,,,, no mercy, violent street cat on a murderous rampage.

And I want injured and dazed Ladybug to be witnessing all this and all her fuzzy mind can come up with is that the agency sent backup. They sent her kitty cat.

Ladybug comes to in Adrien's hotel room. Adrien has a shit-eating grin on his face and he's leafing through something, like a stack of cards, it seems.

"What are those?"

"Chanelle VanCamp, Moira Rosenburg, Erin Liu, Katherine Harrington, Sophie Busson, Laila Matveyev, Marguerite Ilya, Angeline Lee, Casey Montgomery-- oh! What's this? Marinette Dupain-Cheng!"

"YOU WENT THROUGH MY STUFF?!"

"You should pick a better hiding spot than your breast pocket, bugaboo. Or maybe not, since all these ruined IDs might have just saved your life."

"Bugaboo. . .? CHAT????"

"The one and only."

"When we get back to Paris, I'm going to mash your face into the training mat until your features are unrecognisable."

"Come now, bugaboo, don't be mad.lets just agree not to tell anyone we broke every rule that was ever given to us."

"..."

"And . . . and maybe we can take another trip to the Collesseum?"

"..."

"And . . . call it a date . . . this time?"
