Post reveal, grown up, and married Adrienette. Crack with a side of angst.

After hearing one too many stories of neglect and abuse from her husband’s childhood, Marinette has had enough. Without a second thought, she grabs the rabbit miraculous, opens a burrow, and opens a portal to 2003. She storms the Agreste Mansion, scoops toddler Adrien out of his crib, and is determined to take him somewhere he will be raised with love. Then, older Bunnyx pops out of another portal and demands that she put the baby back. They argue, have a heart go heart about how sad it is that Adrien went through what he did, but it was his past that molded him into a man worthy of carrying the cat miraculous, and head back to the future without baby Adrien.

Little did they know that Emilie was nearby watching and listening to the whole exchange, and the outfits worn by the masked intruders stir a memory of a book she once found in a market in Tibet...

(Which inspires her to find the ruins of the temple, the two lost miraculouses, and set the events of the series in motion as they were always meant to be. This was actually a closing of a time loop all along).

a short while after the new butterfly appears, everyone else on the team notices that marinette keeps running away like she's scared before every akuma battle. they don't discuss their identities with others but they all (even adrien) still individually arrive at the conclusion that marinette should have a miraculous of their own, and that they're fine without because they're not scared like marinette is. they surreptitiously place their miraculous into her bag at school, and marinette ends up with a miracle box consisting of every kwami except the butterfly, fox, snake, dragon, and peacock. she has to tour everyone's houses one by one and tell them very firmly not to hand the miraculous out to someone else.

Post season 5: After an accidental one sided identity reveal, Adrien decides to help Marinette whenever he can during an Akuma attack to escape and find a place to transform into Ladybug, he also doesn’t know that Alya knows so they always have a bit of a disagreement when that happens.

During a sleepover visit to the Agreste mansion, Marinette finds herself with some time on her hands late at night. She slips out of the guest bedroom, quietly so as not to wake Adrien, and down to the atelier where Emilie's painting hangs.

It's somewhere here, she thinks, trying to remember details from another time, another TIMELINE. I think there were hidden buttons that he used--

Abruptly, a hand reaches around and clamps itself over her mouth, and a voice whispers, "Don't scream. You know."

When no further violence happens, Marinette wrenches herself free and finds herself staring at Felix.

"I know what, exactly?" she challenges him. "I, uh... I really like this painting..."

"You know what I know about my uncle," Felix snaps. "And only certain people could know that. Hold still, please."

As he advances towards her, Marinette backs up. "What do you think you're doing?" she hisses.

"I need to search you for the Moth Miraculous," he replies.

"Touch me again, and I'll drop you," she warns him. "I punched your lights out once, and I'll do it again."

"I beg your pardon?" he wonders... then the light in his head comes on. "It's you. Of course it's you. I don't know how I didn't realize it before."

"Because you weren't supposed to?"

"I know almost everything I'm not supposed to. It's a blessing as well as a curse," Felix sniffs. "So now that we know that we're on the same team... we can trust each other, Winged Wonder?"

"Don't call me that. You know Ladybug doesn't have wings," she grumbles. "And I didn't let you onto our team because I trust you. I let you close because I don't."

"...That's fair. I wronged you most deceitfully," Felix admits. "What can I do to earn some trust back?"
