Custom Jewelry!

I've been preparing for a craft fair, so I’m bringing back some old designs, and made up some new ones! I’ve got shiny, new pendants in various shapes, and most of the designs work for any shape. Some, however, are only compatible with the circle and square charms.

That said, I’m accepting orders, and anything that I make up in advance that doesn’t sell at the craft fair will be available for purchase online. Orders are made to order.

I can also make one completely custom for you, for an additional price. This can be personalized photos, or memorials even. I’ll be making a very special one for my mom, with the two-sided wings charm, complete with each of my feather babies on either side. These charms are perfect for your favorite pics of your kids, loved ones who have passed on, memorializing anniversaries, and even your pets! They make the perfec gift for loved ones, (or yourself. I won’t tell. ;) )

I’ve covered a few fandoms I’m in, but if you don’t see yours, and you want one, I’m your guy!

They come with a simple chain or cord, but can be upgraded to suede cord. They can also be made into beaded bracelets. Customized so means customized. My end goal is to create jewelry that makes you happy.

Where they like to shop-LOTR

Frodo- the bookstore obviously. He especially likes to support indie bookstores but if need be he will resort to Barnes and Noble. Always tells himself he will only get one book and walks out with ten (he always gets at least one for Sam) He likes artisan markets and boutiques and loves a vintage fashion store. He also can spend several hours in any yarn store.

Sam- the nursery! He goes through the entire store and every greenhouse very thoroughly. Usually comes out with a dozen new plants. Similarly enjoys the hardware store. Always has some landscaping project going on. Loves a good open air food market or little family run delis. Loves a good spice selection. Cannot go into a cookware store without buying something.

Merry- Merry of course loves the weed store. He also likes to shop for fancy wine. I get the sense that he would like shopping for nice suits too. He’s got a good sense of style. Loves to go to touristy shops and get the weirdest thing there. He does collect city mugs. He also collects the weird paintings at Goodwill which he will hang up in his parents house without telling them.

Pippin- Pippin is kind of an impulse buyer. Pretty much any store he enters he will buy something in. He spends way too much money at Target (“they have everything Merry!”). Is big on seasonal decorations and will always buy like the giant Halloween things that jump out at you and massive amounts of Christmas lights. Also has an absurd amount of ugly Christmas sweaters.

Gandalf- like Merry does spend quite a bit at the dispensary. Likes a good woodworking shop. Likes to buy unique carved pipes. And of course spends over a thousand dollars at the fireworks stand.

Aragorn- his main shopping destination is the feed store. Buys all kinds of shit for his horse. Is a loyal REI customer. He always buys the really good quality stuff for backcountry camping. He knows more than the employees there about what is a good brand to get and will happily assist other customers who assume he works there. He also likes to go shopping for Arwen and will usually get her some beautiful piece of jewelry or a really really nice handknit sweater.

Gimli- man loves the hardware store, loves his power tools. Likes to hang out in the lumber yard much to Legolas’s distress. Comes home with a bunch of rocks and woods that he builds stuff with. Also likes to jewelry shop and admire all the nice gemstones- he has an excellent eye and will often go with Aragorn when he is shopping for Arwen. He likes handcrafted stuff from wood, stone, and ceramic and likes to support local artists. Always on the lookout for a good bargain at the hardware store but willing to dish out quite a lot for something unique and handmade. Knows good craftsmanship when he sees it and likes to support other craftspeople.

Legolas- accompanies Gimli and Aragorn to the jewelry store and always manages to convince Gimli to get him something despite having plenty of his own money. Loves the plant store and samples all the edible and some non edible plants. He can legitimately spend a couple of hours at the wine store. Will go to fancy wine tasting events with Gimli. Fashionista man will happily spend an afternoon walking through the high fashion district where all the attendants know him. Similarly an expert Sephora shopper.

Boromir- like Gimli loves the hardware store they run into each other there and end up chatting for like an hour. Loves a good appliance store. Chats with the Best Buy people while picking out a new fridge. Is very particular about getting good quality shoes so he goes to like really nice shoe stores. Absolutely loves a furniture store-will always be on the lookout for a good sale there.

Bilbo- antique store expert! Wanders around until he sees something he likes. Buys a lot of nice antique furniture. An expert clothes shopper-he usually takes Frodo with him who doesn’t mind cause Bilbo pays. Bilbo will exclusively go to second hand bookshops and buy the super rare things behind the locked glass. Also likes to go look for nice rugs, blankets, and linens. Does love the cooking store and usually offers to pay for Sam there (Sam always declined when he worked for Bilbo but once he and Frodo got married he let Bilbo buy him stuff).

Eowyn- shopping for weapons. This woman has a massive sword collection its honestly kind of scary. Also likes the hardware store and the home improvement. Generally she’s not really a big shopper - she really only buys something unless she needs it or as a present for someone else.

Faramir- Faramir loves the pet store. Totally an animal person and has like four cats and two dogs and like a couple guinea pigs and maybe a turtle. Buys so many pet accessories. Eowyn thinks it is cute but ridiculous. She has to remind Faramir that no they do not have room for any more animals-yes not even that gecko- every time they go into the pet store.

Arwen- loves going high end fashion shopping with Legolas. Is really into nice fabrics and weaves so likes to shop for things like fancy tablecloths. Loves a good shoe store. Also a big fan of hat shops. Gondor is a lot brighter than Rivendell so she wears lots of hats to keep her eyes shaded. Starts quite a few fashion trends this way. She also likes to shop for art-especially paintings and statues. She often attends art gallery events and almost always buys something that will be priceless in a few years-she has the money she’s a queen!

“The outfits in Descendants: The Rise of Red are so bad” “I hate them” what Descendants are y’all talking about?

We gonna start off with Uma. No, I’m sorry, Principal Uma! She looks so good! D2 vibes all around. Sure, there’s not as many sea trinkets as I’d like there to be but I can live with that. I missed her Pirate hat and her fringed skirt! The shredded shirt, I see you, Harry Hook inspired! I love the brown sleeves with glitter, that definitely reminds me of the sea. I just got black fingerless gloves but now after seeing her, I want gold…Great. I haven’t talked about her jacket cause there’s no discussion to be said. No defense to be made. Uma will always have that fashion!

Princess Red of Wonderland here is slaying! The designer understood the assignment! Red’s style is like a combination of Mal and Evie. The gown gives Evie’s royalty and the other gives Mal’s edge. Let’s start with the dress, I have always had a thing for corsets , I don’t know what it is, I just love them. Her arm warmers! Maybe it’s something on the arms, I just find it so sexy (y’all should’ve seen me swoon over Mal’s D3 moto sport fit). Why does her dress give more Queen of Hearts then the actual Queen of Hearts. And don’t act like we didn’t see that crown, Miss Ma’am.

Now the other picture, it may be dark but I saw everything I needed to. I think that’s a double belt she’s wearing and I love wearing more than one belt! The leather pants with the gems on the side, love that! Combat boots are my true love, but y’all. Y’all. The hood. THE HOOD! WITH THE GEMS!! OHHH! I need the character pictures to drop so I know what to gender-bend and thrift.

First off all, Hades always got it on but THIS! Hades is my spirit god! I am Hadie. I can see how he pulled Maleficent. This is my father, I dressed up as this specific Hades for Halloween. I love it when my gender wears makeup, I personally like painting my nails and wearing eyeliner so to see it on Hades, I’m very happy. I am a sucker for jewelry and that choker around the neck! I recently bought my own choker because of him! His leather jacket is everything! The studs! I haves stud fetish! I need the jacket but it’s just too expensive. Now the main thing we need to talk about is THAT SHIRT! OR SHIRTS! I fully believe these are two shirts safety pinned together! I think that the blue might be long sleeve while the gray is short! I got the safety pins so I find the right shirts, I will my customizing!

The Mistress of Evil, Maleficent always has that fashion chic. The complaints I do understand are from her horns and hair. We’re gonna start with her hair. People were expecting it to be people because Mal’s was purple. Y’all, you cannot expect me to believe Mal’s hair was an inherited trait, I did not believe for a second that Maleficent had purple hair. (Imma have to do a whole other post on that). Now the horns, I do believe that her horns are there and her hair is just long enough to be wrapped around her horns. (And if not, then we go all Dragon). Now let’s talk about the pros. THE PURPLE EYESHADOW!! I LOVE THAT! The leather corset, again, something about a corset! Why do I have the feeling that’s dragon leather? If that’s a thing, is that a thing? Now let’s talk about that single arm sleeve. Even as a teenager, Maleficent still looks regal! How many chains does Maleficent have? I love that. Ulyana is a mean girl, Maleficent is a BAD girl!

It’s not that she doesn’t look good, it’s just that it’s all red. I know that’s her main color, but she does also wears black with a little bit of gold. That’s pretty much my only complaint, she looks beautiful, I love how the dress looks like roses! The sleeves, I love translucent or mesh or whatever it’s called. The crown is crowning! Don’t get me started on that corset turned collar!! But I do understand why they made her all Red so she can contrast with Queen Cinderella!

I’m am rating this because the other one we saw is not a dress, that is a cape or cloak or something, I don’t know what it’s called. This dress is very beautiful, I have always preferred her blue over her silver but I do like how the designer added silver swirls. The jewelry is everything! The earrings, the necklace, THE SILVER CROWN! IT’S BEAUTIFUL! Brandy is royalty herself! I’m not sure if you guys can see it, but she does have these shiny translucent gloves and I like them. I don’t care what you people say, even if it’s a little random, her blue braid is absolutely beautiful! I absolutely love it!! The first black Cinderella then the first Cinderella with blue hair, Brandy is the literal definition of iconic. She is the history of Cinderella.

A couple of thrift stores have opened in my area in the past year. I didn't expect to find any merchandise, but after @i-believe-in-unicorns-and-you showed me the Rick and Morty sweatpants she found at Marshall's and I thought about the crazy finds on @shiftythrifting, I figured I'd give it a shot.

And who knew: it was time for a thrift store roundup! 👚🧦

The first store had a section for gifts and accessories. My expectations were low, but when I rounded the corner, the shelves were loaded with Rick and Morty stocking stuffers. The first thing I saw was this bathrobe:

Hmm, that's a cute figure...maybe someone should draw Rick wearing that. 🤔

This sock packaging is adorable. It looks like a pint of ice cream!

On a similar note, I actually thought these were cans of pickle juice. Adult Swim has no problem selling Toxic Rick and Shrimp Rick energy drinks, so it wouldn't be off-brand, but nope: they're boxer shorts that advertise your SWAG.

I realize that Swag is the brand name, but selling Pickle Rick boxers with SWAG on the waistband isn't exactly helping the show's bro-y reputation. The can is cute, though.

Let's all celebrate Rickmas...with Pickle Rick!

Evidently, socks are a hot item. I think they're the new ugly Christmas sweaters.

In fact, Cool Rick wants you to buy these socks!

And you can complete your outfit with festive sweatpants.

Next stop: Marshall's. They continued the theme with an advent calendar. 12 days of socks!

Advent calendars have been getting more luxurious over the years. Some people spend hundreds of dollars on calendars loaded with jewelry, ornaments, food and beauty products. Apparently, 2021's most expensive calendar was custom-made and cost $10 million. Must be nice!

Anyway, back to the proletariat: I love the design on these boxers. OK, maybe Rick didn't think it through, but he's proud of his gift!

I did think John Oliver's character was funny. "Would you like to ride...the bone train?"

Finally, I went to Five Below. They had one of the strangest pieces of merchandise I've ever seen: a projector that casts a picture of Rick and Morty underneath your car.

I could see somebody doing that once for Halloween or another event, but all the time? Wearing merchandise isn't enough--you have to represent the show while you're driving? Are guys hoping that Dan Harmon will see this and be so impressed that he makes out with them a little?

Then again, I guess there's a reason it has a clearance sticker.

How HXH characters do halloween activities headcanons

Various HXH x Reader

Pumpkin patch

Illumi: researches pumpkin patches months in advance to find the perfect one then rents it out when you and him decide to go. NEEDS to find the perfect pumpkin and will not settle for second best. He’d never been before, ends up buying half their stock of pumpkins

Leorio: comes over to your house to hang out and is then roped into going to the pumpkin patch with you, Kurapika, Killua, and Gon. He also worries a bit about packing things and how much the pumpkins will cost, but you all end up having fun

Kurapika: you are both walking him from lunch and you pass by a pumpkin patch and you decide to go and pick some out. he tells you he’s never been to one and you almost cry

Meruem: you tell him about Halloween practices and he demands to go to a pumpkin patch. You are escorted to one by the Royal guards and he definitely crushes quite a few accidentally

Chrollo: is fascinated by holiday traditions, so when you suggest going to a pumpkin patch he’s down for it. The entire troupe ends up coming, though they were kind of tricked into it. Chaos ensues, and you decide to never bring chrollo somewhere again if he invited the troupe

Costumes?

Illumi: he picks out matching couple costumes for you, this year you both dress up as vampires. Your costume is custom made to fit you perfectly, and is both beautiful and comfortable. He definitely likes to show you off, so even if you’re just taking Gon and Killua trick or treating you’re dressed in the finest jewelry and silk.

Leorio: he begs you to dress as a sexy nurse, but you refuse. His second option was Frankensteins bride, and you finally relent. He ends up going at Dr. Frankenstein

Kurapika: he’s not really interested in dressing up, but will if you ask. He will honestly wear whatever you ask him to, as long as it isn’t too embarrassing. You both end dressing as mummies.

Meruem: he refuses to dress up, but enjoys seeing you looking cute in your costume. You dress up as a witch!

Chrollo: the type to either go all out on costumes or not wear one, there is no in between. This year he ends up dressing as a skeleton

Trick or Treating

You’re basically Killua and Gon’s guardian at this point, so you decide to take them truck or treating. How do the hxh men react?

Leorio/Kurapika: pretty much the same reaction. They don’t mind taking them, though Leorio is a bit grumpy about it.

Illumi: you have you go through a bunch of boundaries before killua is comfortable going trick or treating with him coming. Y’all go to a super rich, elite neighborhood where they give out full size candy bars and pastries. Illumi definitely tries any food you eat to make sure it isn’t poisoned.

Meruem: refuses to go with you 😭😭 probably won’t even let you go if I’m being honest

Chrollo: deeply amused when he sees you walk into your house with Killua and Gon in tow. They probably try to fight each other at first but after things calm down he’s like the cool uncle and will fight to get the good candy. Definitely sneaks off to steal a bunch of treats

What the Inner Circle is being for halloween this year

Rhysand: Batman. He got his cape custom made with specs of stardust on it for flare. He wears the batman mask and says “I’m Batman” in a deep voice to make Nyx laugh. Nyx is dressed up as Batman too because he wanted to be like his dad.

Feyre: Catwoman. She got her nails done a pointy black to act as claws. Her outfit is custom made like Rhysand’s.

Cassian: Thor. Carries a gigantic rubber hammer. Trips over his cape a few times. Argues with Rhysand that Marvel is better than DC.

Nesta: Black Widow. Didn’t care about dressing up but Cassian said it would be fun. Refuses to wear a red wig. Bought expensive heels.

Azriel: Ghostface. Thinks the mask looks cool. Has only seen the first movie once and thought it was okay. Didn’t really know what to dress up as and picked this option last minute. His shadows swirl around him to make him seem scarier.

Elain: Fairy. Light pink outfit with blue wings. Makeup is perfect. Flowers adorn her hair. Her shoes are handmade. Bakes Halloween inspired cupcakes for everyone.

Mor: Vampire. Long red dress with red heels to match and fake vampire teeth. Drinks red wine that makes the vampre look really come together. Agree’s with Rhysand that DC is better than Marvel.

Amren: Elf. She lost a bet with Cassian so she had to dress up as whatever he picked out for her. Sneering the entire time. Wore expensive jewelry to make the outfit more tolerable.
