He heard from his brothers and the few other Chaos Marines in the city that bringing gifts for his human is a good way to nurture their bond. With that in mind he hopes the flowers he has will work. He knows his human likes flowers. She grows them, smells of them, her home is decorated with them.

He enters her home, it's cluttered in a way that feels welcoming. Letting out a rough broken chirp as he seeks out his human and finds her in her study. He holds the somewhat crushed flowers to her and watches as she brightens up at the sight of them.

Expecting her to simply take the flowers, he's surprised when she hugs him instead. A welcomed surprise though, happily hugging her back, even if it meant he has to bend awkwardly just to nuzzle against her hair. She giggles when he starts purring, making him purr even louder.

This is what it should be right? Her in his arms, happy. He can't imagine anyone else in her place. She's the only one he can hold in such a way without seeking to harm. The only one that has him searching large fields for the prettiest flowers he can find.
